Debbie and Dinesh Discuss the Latest in the Bryan Kohberger Case
"W continues to follow pretty intently the Brian koberger case, and I'm interested in it also, so we will often discuss the latest developments in the case I believe the next event. When is the next hearing coming up? It's I believe it's June 26th or 25th, something like that. At the end of the day, it's in a few months, but nevertheless, through reports, it appears like a, we're getting an idea of what the evidence is like against this guy and you got the good. You've got the goods on it. Yeah, yeah, so there are 5 key pieces of evidence really right now that we know of. Now they did, so let me go through for those first. So this was basically in the affidavit that they revealed a couple of weeks ago, which is why they arrested Ryan coburger because of this. By the way, just to set a context for people who don't know, we're talking about the killing of the four students in Idaho. And a man has been arrested, in fact, a criminology, PhD, who will live ten minutes away and was affiliated with an academic institution actually in Washington state, but right on the Idaho border. All right, so what's the evidence? So the evidence is that they found a sheath. It's a knife sheath. Right next to one of the bodies of the girls, right? And that sheath, am I saying it right? She. Sheath, right, okay. That sheath has DNA on it. It has touch DNA as we know now with forensics being just amazing these days. Now they can do touch DNA, of course they can do blood DNA, saliva DNA, all of that. Everything has DNA, right? So the button had DNA. And that button had his DNA.

What Stands Out About the Baffling Idaho House Murders
"I want to talk about the Idaho murder, there's something that really bothers me about the Idaho situation beyond the beyond the obvious and I'm going to walk through that. In a second here, so here's what this guy is by the name of Brian kober, 28 years old, allegedly allegedly allegedly. I want to just keep saying that. And the cops have done a great job looking into this. And so a couple of things. We're continuing to get more information about this. The man accused of murdering the four college students at the university of Idaho. It's become a rather incredible example of what forensic investigators are capable of these days. 40 years ago, this probably would have been an unsolved murder. And for almost a month, it looked like it would be, but thankfully, it has turned out that instead of being hopelessly lost, the police were steadily making progress, and yesterday we learned what evidence they were collecting. Coburger you'll remember was a graduate student in criminology at Washington state university in paulman. Which is only about 8 miles away from Moscow where the university of Idaho is. Co burger became a suspect because he was identified as the owner of a white Hyundai elantra. Which is an FBI analyst identified, which an FBI analyst identified as a vehicle of interest. From a mountain of surveillance footage recorded from nearby buildings in the area. From there, the evidence slowly came together as often the case these days. The suspect cell phone played a role according to investigators, koh Berger's phone show that he visited the murder House 12 time for the killings. Not only that, but he returned to the area of the house around 9 a.m. on November 13th before the murders have even been discovered. Not only take a pause here, if it's indeed true that he visited the house 12 times, then it does dispel the fear that this was just a random killing that he knew the victims. Now, why is that a fear? Because some people, I think, are now living in this state of mind that a knife murderer might just show up at your house. Now, by the way, he could just be staking out. We don't know we'll have to wait for the trial. But it turns out the most important piece of evidence against coburger might not be where his cell phone was pinged, but rather when it didn't. According to the evidence, released yesterday, coburger cell phone stopped reporting its location from two 48 to four 48 on November 13th, the exact time window where the killings occurred when his phone was turned back on. Coburger was driving on the road back to his university.

I think he's now in a prison in Pennsylvania. This is Jake Lang. He's been on the podcast. He's called in before from prison. And we were trying to arrange that kind of a call through his cousin, but it's a complex business and somehow it didn't come about, but isn't it hard to believe that two years later, you've got people whose trials have not yet occurred. There is still incarcerated based upon this absolutely preposterous assertion by these judges that they're a danger to the community. Well, to be honest, you know, you know how I've been fixated on this on this alleged serial killer. We're going to talk about that a little later. But I mentioned you're talking about the Portland. Yeah, about Brian coburger, but we'll talk about that later. But I did say it looks like they treat him better than they treat the January 6th defendants. Now what do you mean by that? I mean, they did great his house. They did kicking his windows. In fact, we talked about how even that's super stupid. And what are we talking about? So on December 28th, I guess it was the FBI. They could have easily this guy Brian kober went home. Following him, actually, and it's come out, and we'll talk about this on the other segment. But what I mean by they treat they treat him better is in prison. Like he's not in solitary with no due process. No, he's going to get his day actually yesterday. He got his day in court. You know, he went back to Idaho. So prompt trial. Yeah. And in fact, there's some discussion about how does it make sure you get a non biased jury with all the media reporting. So anyway, so what I'm saying is he's getting better treatment than the January 6th defendants who for two years. Think about it for two years, many of them have been in prison with no due process.

Well, this wasn't with T Higgins. That was not a dirty hit. It was a clean hit. And it got caught in the chest and what happened is that that hit had to come at the most horrible time because then it screwed up the arrhythmia in Hamlin's heart because usually according to what doctors say now, I'm no medical technician here. But your electrical impulse is go from right to left right to left and the heart, and he hit it at a point. When in apparently, it just stopped. What happens this weekend?
