"Let it fly and hits it. Xavier leads by 1 74 73 with 730.1 2nd to play. You know, it was a remarkable play that goes back to the time out. Because Ava had made a decision by and we talked about it to pull out Cobi Jones. They brought in Brian conquering Great three point shooter and during the time out after the discussion among the coaches, they bring the freshman back into the ballgame. Cobi Jones for Carter. So Xavier and you had suggested maybe they go small. With the guards, and it did give me ability for Kunkle to drive the lane. He leapt into the air on left, Elaine, I was certain he was going to shoot. You could probably hear that. But it wouldn't do to drew the defense. I'd like to talk to him to see if he changed his mind. The whole mid mid air, But that drew the defense. He fired a pass deep into the right corner. And Scruggs. I thought he'd shoot it, too. And then he affected and drew the baseline. And when he was driving the baseline looked ingested to me and he but he knew what he was doing. I didn't see Jones may be wide open the top of the key. Maybe you did. I thought Scrubs might be a little bit of trouble. But he fired a beautiful pass out right into the shooting pocket of Cobi Jones, who is ready to catch it and shoot it, And it was nothing but net when you have experienced players, Joe At the end of the game. Those kind of those players make those kind of plays, and it was their great decisions multiple times throughout that play for Michael Corporation, Arbor Day Foundation. "Points tonight. Make it eight C. Max in his first It was just three of 11 from the floor. That was his first good free throw. Leading scorer for the Giants. I missed that second free throw. We're all tied up with 51 51 with 7 13 to go. Scrubs for the Musketeers. Offensive Zone Right point for corner after the wrinkling there for animal dribbles up right point covered over there about Greg Williams Jr only got around to the baseline, Elated into the center lane. Brian Griffin. No accident. The Musketeers extend the lead to the found coming all off the dribble drive. And the burst by the one Oldham, who came barreling at the basket on the right side through two defenders Little wraparound pass the Brian Griffin Got foul for the and one said the free throw line to try to finish the three point play. Different. Mrs on the offering. Long rebound comes down for the richest, or she'd done collected brought it into the offensive end Posh Alexander Needs it on top for Greg Williams Junior off the left side. We're she done full of in the center. Lane will not go for the red Storm in shame. Penny battle for the rebound is knocked out of bounds and we'll go to the Musketeers. Jason Carter has been so active. Underneath the basket there a lot of balls that are getting peppered around underneath. A lot of everybody. A lot of hands air getting in there and Jason Carter nine times out of 10 is securing the rebound. He's got 13 rebounds. Seven assists has been really active on both ends of the floor underneath the basket. He was working on a second double double this season savior doing a good job on the boards, 48 31 advantage. Go back to the other end in you. Order to the free throw line, and he can't connect there. Gonna make free throws in this game close games That will be the difference between winning and losing. Things has been a real close one. Portly changes and seven ties. Seeing Kristina 13 from line here in the second half. Now make 11 14 3 Point lead for the Musketeers, 6 40 to play. You were the second half. Has been tight throughout honestly from either team with six Flavors in the 23 zone. Well, not the way inside and collected by Brian Griffin ship any trended squeezing into traffic. The Musketeers me to pay with the turnover. Scruggs double teamed out near mid court swings it off for Carter Wright signed for older men picked up the foul line. Cobi Jones gets a floater to go down the right black Colby is so measured as he goes to the basket is continuously trying to read the defense and It that a quick fashion was able to hit little pull up right in the teeth of the defense. Jones was 15 Musketeers of the five point lead and a steal for Carter on the right side. Save your collapse, trying to put together one here lets get yours or four for the last four from the field. "Continue to do that. This game, and it's kind of a springboard for him because his game has been up and down up to this point you mentioned the Big East and have challenging you could be locked up is a training. Still to try to build this defensive identity at game speed. You don't have We didn't have the preseason. We didn't have any of the nine conference or not a lot of it outside of that couple of weeks. Where's Avery played several games in that 10 days stretch, I thought, Is it for him to build that with the new players that are eligible? When I try to get that Roland playing against each other, because in practice, you know what's gonna happen. Offensively, You know your system supposed to go. That's right. Well, you know, it's just something to get to work. It's difficult, but it's a challenge for every team. Xaver has a deep roster. If this was the situation last year, Where is Abel had about eight scholarship players has been nearly impossible to do that because they didn't have 10 scholarship players to play against each other in practice. Least they have the luxury of that with 13 scholarship players this year, But it is something like that you're gonna happen. It's a day it zah culture is something you do every day and And eventually it just becomes a habit. Playing hard is a habit. Playing at intense level is a habit, and that's what the coaches air trying to instill in these teams. It was just like Saint John Saint John's. They have a culture of playing super fast and and playing at a tremendous pace. It's been something ever since they've been in the Big East. They've done that. And so Xavier's trying to form their identity and build their culture as well done enough to this game. Who you see, maybe can emerges. The complement to the starting line aboard a compliment off the bench is on the verge of breaking through here for the Musketeers. Well, I think it's a big game for Dewan Odoms. Because Mike they're gonna be so many open course situations. I mean the way ST John's. I don't know if you ever seen him play, but they will gamble. They were overplay. They'll give you a Lane to the basket, and you're just not used to that. You know, they'll deny passing lanes. They won't let you change sides of the floor. So no one is going to have to handle that. Now, the ones 1st 3rd game in the Musketeers when they played against eastern Kentucky. He turned the ball over seven times in that game, so That was his first look, it tremendous amount of pressure at this level, so I think he is going to be the key. I don't know if he's gonna be back into the starting lineup. No, it doesn't look like it is a zay say that they just put put it up. Cobi Jones is gonna be in the starting lineup. So, uh, but old, I'm coming off the bench. He's gonna be important because he's gonna be the guy the trigger man. He's gonna be the quarterback. He's gonna have to decide what temple you played. You push it or do you pull it out and run offense, making those decisions being that quarterback out there is imperative. When you're playing in the game like this guano did have his career best seven rebounds against Eastern Kentucky. She mentioned turnovers. I'm gonna take him off the glass. It's gonna have a good night tonight. He also had three blocks shots in that game. There you go. So good night for guano. Hopefully here for the Xavier Musketeers. Take a break. Be back with warning you create pregame show This.

"Bye, Cobi Jones into the lane. But it's Snared by a Creighton basketball players now across the timeline, the low post a bishop, those upper left him jump hook, and he's found on the play over Stanley, and that's just power basketball right there. Bishops really good at that. He shoots 74% from the field. That's number one in the Big East, and he's three for seven in this one. He got the ball Joe when he makes that power dribble to the left. And he gets you right in front of the basket. You're gonna finish. He's gonna finish every time there's a technical foul called on the crate in Blue Jays gonna call it on on Bishop. It was probably Wolf in Ft. Made after he made a bucket. So that'll send Johnson the line to shoot two has just made his first exit. 53 47 2nd free throw from Johnson on the way front of the rim backboard for the front of the rim again through the strings calendar. Savior of trails 53 48. They just showed a bishop was after he made a bucket and kind of flexed and was screaming and Ben Stanley's face. Just want him to just shut up and play man. Should always gotta tell you about it, and the fishes got on for the left hander fires. His free throw completes his three point play, and Xavier trails 54 to 48. Exactly nine minutes to go, is And he brings it across the timeline gives it up to Stanley High on the left point. Now, Johnson has it working on the right side of the floor for free mental back to the left side of the Florida Jones Fremantle cuts to the bucket gets a return pass from Cobi Jones tries to Duncan, but he's found heavily. Ballack and that'll send free men on the line to shoot, too. That was a nice Handoff on the look like a pick and roll and sort of a fake, picked by Freeman or what you say. Then he just released and went to the hoop in a nice pass from the freshman. He slipped us the ball, screen said instead of sending, and he just kind of slipped to the basket, there was a good pass. Show that play he's been they blocked that shot multiple times in the game. Exactly man who misses the first free throw, but that time Zach protected the ball when he received it and attack when he was attacking the basket. Second free throw all the way. It is good free man who now has seven points of the ball game for the musketeer. Xavier trails by 5 54 to 49 with 8 43 to go. Cheers back in the man to man defense bollocks with a top of the key to Jefferson. We'll give it the Mitchell. He drives the lane is he turns the corner and a finger roll. That question is, Will it count? It did go through the strings. There was a foul at the free throw on it was on the floor. Great. We'll take the ball out of bounds underneath Xavier's basket That will be the fourth team found the Musketeers. This half great also has been called before possession Arrow, by the way, favors the Musketeers break him down the basketball on the right baseline. After the right wing. Now it's taking to the point by Mitchell, keeping the dribble lives now, like with those it along the left sideline to Jefferson, about the ballot tries to drive turned back by freshman Jones out toe tag around ski. He turned the corner kicks it to the right side wide open. Three is on the way. It's off the iron and the rebounds taken by Kiki Tandy. That shot was put up Jefferson for the Great Blue Jays. Candy brings it across the timeline, turns his back to his defender. Now over to Stanley, He drives hard on this man throws up a jump hook shot over, Bishop. My goodness, That was a nice looking shot, Joe. He's left handed. Been Stanley. He's grated drive into the bucket. With that, left and like making contested shots over extended hand savior has pulled within three, trailing 54. 51 freemantle was He just called for a technical on a belief, so no, he was just called forever. All right, Time out, apparently has been called, and we're gonna take a break again, Creighton..

"Pulls up out of a spin. Move and fires hits three. How do you do that? I don't know, Joe. He could you do that? Well, he was just trouble. I spend around two times, two defenders run, and he just said Okay, I'm just gonna raise up and shoot the three right both of their faces. They're on the way. It's good. That's Mahoney answering Tandy. Both teams heating up now, 28 to 19 Xavier with Aly Tandy brings it across the timeline lowers a dribble bounces it in towards the high post Got by Fremantle. Across the top of the key. Now with the dribble back out side, the Cobi Jones Carter with it looking for Freeman underneath the Skip, Pass back outside threes on away from Tandy off the iron, No good. That was deep. We've got a rebound taken by the Musketeers, but a whistle. And over the back, I believe will be called on Carter or it's gonna be on Freeman maybe pushed off a little bit, so that'll mollify the rebound. Freeman will check out of the ballgame. They'll be second of second foul on Freeman or Who only has two points so he'll have to go to the bench. Paul Scruggs checks back in for the Muskie's a 43 to go Xavier leading 28 to 19 top of the key Jones with the ball accelerates down the lane jump stop in a lay up. Yeah, he is fouled on the play by CJ will try. Yes, CJ's gotta get. He's got to sit down in the stands on Lee, a freshman CJ plays about four minutes a game. Travis still is trying to give him a little playing time. But that time Joe he was just not not down and never was able to get his body in front of the ball. Jones averages five points in the ball game for Creighton for averages. 70 already has five that makes it six is a complete the three point play and says six point lead for the Musketeers. 28 22. Get it across the timeline for the musketeers is Paul struck, picked up the dribble. Hands it off to Carter, working behind a screen takes it to the left side of the Florida Cobi Jones. Back out the Griffin all struggle with the top of the key between the legs dribble left side of the floor. Is it up the Nate Johnson? With your first green gets, it drives down the lane. We may have a movie screen. Carter is he arrived? They Johnson took off and really never let Carter settle in on the screen as easy call by the officials. Jason Carter. As you said, Joe. He he really never was set. That Z even more on Johnson. Joe Johnson's got to kind of back back away and give Jason time to get set so he could set the screen 28 20 Tuesday with a lead 805 to play top of the key. Jones blush. The three and Elaine spins kicks it back outside three is on the way. From Mahoney. No Dread rebound taken by Mahony fires up a 15 FT. Another rebound controlled by the Musketeers, Brian Griffin. I'll handle the pulse Brooks, who brings it across the timeline from his Xavier's bench on the right sideline. Left side of the Florida out of Cobi Jones waits for a screen from Griffin. He's double teamed, he backs away from a Jones does gives it up to Carter balls on the right side. Today. Johnson savior season getting pushed further and further away from the basket for me, Jones drives the lane hangs, draws the foul and misses the layup that will be at the line for two. It was. That's the way you relieve that pressure. Creighton still trying to pick it up and then push Xavier away from the basket and Xavier keep backing up. But You got it attacked pressure, and that's exactly what Cobi Jones just did. Time out's been called 28 for the Musketeers. 22 for the Great Blue Jay 7 33 to play in the first half. "Right there on the floor. Yeah, they are ziggurat ski. He is. He's like I need Energizer Bunny. I mean, he is He never stops He's got, uh An unending dribble. I mean, he will continue to probe and continue to test you on the corners and try toe turn up. Turn the corner against you puts a lot of pressure on you as a defensive player. A lot of pressure from the officials because there's so much contact he he runs the contact and he understands angles and He's a tremendous player, Joe and again that he's the leading scorer in returning Leni's corn. The Big East averages. 16 points a game last year's averaging 14 this year and five assists that ship it 67 will jump against Fremantle at 69. The officials bounce the ball a few times walking between them. On the ball is tossed in the first possession belonged to the Great Blue Jay. Bring it across the timeline Ziggurat ski dress over to the left point between the leg journalist which is the ball to his right hand. Now top of the key Jefferson with it picked up by Cobi Jones. Jefferson drives down to the baseline, shoots his shots partially blocked picked out of the air by the Musketeers. Scrubs will bring it across the timeline. Left side of the floor. Dribbles of the right elbow, picks it outside Cobi Jones Open for three. Let's to fly No good Jefferson with the rebound for the great Blue Jays, they bring it quickly across the timeline. Cobi Jones was not didn't hesitate. He just let it go. It's a good shot. He needs to continue to take that into the corner. Ballot with it takes it to the top of the key throws a deep into the right corner. Three is on the way and it is good and that is Jefferson deep into the corner on the left side hits the three for the first score of the ballgames. Bring it up Crate. Blue Jays 1914 to play in the first half Cobi Jones working on the left side of the floor. Carter coming at the set a screen, But Jones gets rid of the ball before that conform up right side of the floor at the Jones back outside. The three pointer is on the way from the Johnson and we're tied at three Egypt or a nice pump fake It's a nice save by Zach Freeman. Oh, good to see Nate Johnson get his first three pointer to go down the drive down the lane kickback upside debate. Lock into the corner. Three is on the way. It is no good that was taken by Bishop rebound, taking left to the bucket. Jason Carter for the Musketeers. Crunch brings it Across the timeline, switches the ball left hand to spend move feeds inside the Carter one dribble, Reverse layup, bouncing on the river and through the strings. Good for two Xavier, his jumped on top by 2523 18 21 to play. One of the first half. What a beautiful pass by Paul Scruggs. Joe. He threw two defenders and just dropped it over his shoulder. Jason Carter was able to finish the reverse layup. They bring a man to man defense. Paul Scruggs, forcing Zechariah ask you to give the ball up. Baylock has the top of the key. Back the Mahoney elbow jumper on the way. No good rebound taking by the Musketeers freshman Cobi Jones. He brings it across the timeline right side of the floor, which is the ball with left hand throws it to the right wing. Fremantle within 10 ft. From the basket, spins baseline, pushes up a hook shot rolls across the river and falls off. No good rebound, taking it tossed after adding around ski, and he tries to penetrate. Put a double team that's good defense job by Jason Carter there Carter did a good job keeping. He was moving his feet. Cobi Jones. He got by Cobi Jones and Kobe kind of let him go by and smack the ball from behind. That caused the first turnover by Creighton Musketeers with the ball with two point lead, 17 30 to play.

"In the first half, as you said on the low post. Xavier with the possession of the time out, Trailing by 5 29 24 spin by Paul Scruggs Down laid a finger roll might've been partially blocked, at least intimidated by Theo John ended up being an air ball. Now the ball was knocked loose. Wars of traveling, It'll go back to the Xavier Musketeers. Not lose saber before they went back up to play defense. Paul slapped at the ball knocked it off Kane's legs, so they was gonna get another opportunity underneath the basket. Seen some good signs in this ball game for the Musketeers. There really was picking plays like that up here recently, the kind of hustle plays in the aggressive place most drugs at the point drives the lane into a double team stops under the free throw line was up a 13 footer rattles the rim settles through the strings. Xavier's pulled within three, trailing 29 to 26 with 3 31 to go. He just bullied the taller cane into the lane. Joan knocked him over knocked him back with the shoulder. To create a little space and little mid range shot. Make you and left side of the floor into the bloc. Feel John. Working down low jump hook in an attic goes no good balls battled, knocked out of bounds last touched. Nate Johnson of the Musketeers. He was battling 6 Ft. 11 Dawson Garcia for that rebound. They Johnson stands 6 ft. 43 14 to go three point lead for Marquette 29 26 the wind down along the left baseline. Aren't watching the cutters outside the cane rotated through John now Garcia with the backdoor, cut and mishandled by Cardinal. That place looked like an easy laugh, but it was never caught on the bounce savior in transition. Back to Paul's drugs. Top of the key puts it on the floor takes it to the left point accelerates down the lane. Spins in the link is right in front of the rim, pushes it over the room. A little push shot rolls around through the strings. Xavier trails by 1 29 28, Ball says. I don't care if you're a McDonald's All American. Take this finger roll off a spin with you to 45 to play in the first half. Garcia working up the point, Xavier And a man to man defense. Cobi Jones, denying inside on Garcia 6 11 at the top of the key three is on the way from Theo. John. No good. At one point in the year, he was three for three commemorate coming in here. Three for three jobs Sure doesn't look like he should be shooting that scrubs will fire a three's got. It seems your hands their first lead. Of the half. 31 29 Paul Scruggs has been on an individual Kerrigan Xavier two point lead. Partly. That's the third lead to the hair for the Musketeers just seems like it's been forever since they've handed We have 2 22 to play. In the first half, and Xavier leads by two and has been all Paul Scrub. It has Joe He's got half over half the points for Xavier. He's got 16 of the 31 points for Xavier, six for 11 from the Field four for six. From behind the arc started out little Rocky Joe with a partner. A couple turnovers with man as he turned it over in the last couple minutes, savior on a 10 hour run over the last two minutes and 31 seconds Like to remind you to stay tuned for the Ukraine. Halftime report. You create your custom creating and shipping solution. Visit Ukraine. Come on two minutes 22 seconds to play in the first half year, Santa's center 31 for the Musketeers, 29 for the mark head Golden Eagles. Savory also had Jones has four points for Xavier. Jason are Carter are Nate Johnson has six free man with only one point, maybe again with 2 to 1 alignment, full court pressure. They're not trapping out of it, but they're making cars work awful hard to bring it across the timeline. Most drugs trips and falls gets back off the seat of his pants, and Xavier said. To put 23 Zone part keeps a dribble, live right side of the force of the human behind the back booth. Mobile on the right side. Now it bounces off the top of key beyond the three point line line into the low post. Garcia back with the corner right side. McEwan rises up for 15 Footer off the flames. No good. Save it does a great job boxing at the balls on the floor. Scramble force drugs has it And we've got a jumbo call Possession. Arrow favors the musketeers. You could see Xavier seal out in that zone, Byron, which as you point out so often Not an easy thing to do, but they did a good job finding a blue jersey that time. Well, they talked about it. Jo Gang rebounding was really important. Because market does a great job on the glass and Xavier's been outrebounding Marquette 18 to 11. That was a point of emphasis. When the first things assistant coach Ben Johnson talked about the brigade. They threw the ball with two point lead. They starts lead They started. We've on the perimeter structure of the basketball. To the high post to Carter. Back out the Paul Scruggs lost. The three puts it on the floor. Trying to drive into the paint kicks it back outside. Johnson fakes the three and now he feeds it inside, and we've got a traveling call. I think that called Byron. I didn't like it just because Has Nate Johnson was losing his balance, but he kept it kept us down. I agree with you. I'll be turned over against the Musketeers market with the ball's in the lead a 31.9 minutes 20 to play in the first half a human with a basketball left point crosses into the right. 200.0.2 cartons. Dribbles in between a double team throws up a floater. No good, Mrs A. Happen. The second tap is good. That was by Garcia. I think who tapped that inbound on their multiple blue jerseys? They're 31 31 were tied Now Cane held his hand up like give it to me. I don't know if he was even in the black. Most drugs turns his back to his defense. Left side. Freeman catches fires a three off the iron. No good that was taken deep on the left side, rebounded by Cobi Jones is put back is no good. He's fat on the play will be at the line to shoot two When the ball goes up, Joe, it is not for the faint of heart. I mean, there are a lot of bodies. Colliding in the paint. That was a 50 50 rebound that bounced straight up in the air. And it was all about will and Xavier has been Up to the challenge in this basketball game in the paint and on the backboard. Cobi Jones first free throw the afternoon on the way it is good, You know, he has five points in the ballgame. He's also Perfect two for two from the field. Actually playing out of position is game playing the point guard. Stepping in for Dewan Notam has done a tremendous job. So for second free throw also is good Xavier and joined a two point lead. We have 45 seconds to play in the first day of Xavier again with a 2 to 1. Full court press, no trapping just too slow. Mark it down a little bit Xavier back and do it 23 zone. "For a repeat performance. Yesterday's one on one. The 49 victory was impressive. Both ends of the court, holding Oakland on Lee 12 1st half points on defense and then scoring over 100 points for the first time since 2000 and 17. So it was Good all the way around the shared the ball. They made shots all over the floor. They'll need to bring that offensive mindset. Because Bradley comes into the center to center has one of the better defensive teams in the country. Last year. They ranked fourth. And in the nation Lemonade opponents shots at the rim. Yesterday they defeated Toledo, 61 to 59. The defensive slugfest. So shot making will be at the top of the Musketeers. Thanksgiving Wish list. When you were telling me Bradley's here three seasons of 20, or more wins, they've won the last two Missouri Valley conference tournaments. They've been on a pressure from your very impressive also, baron, you've got a very early today and you're preparing a Thanksgiving feast You're gonna have after we're done broadcasting. That's right. That's right. It was up about 6. 30 had to make the dressing. Get to Turkey. All done, So we got family coming over. Hey, couldn't be a better day, Joe. I like to eat and I love Xavier basketball, So hopefully you know, we get a victory to start the day off. But I agree with you both teams on the floor, obviously warming up the tip off. Right at noon. Zach Freemantle was extremely impressive. Yesterday He was Joe. He had career highs and points, rebounds and assists. 21 points, 12 rebounds. Four assists and he was efficient 10 for 15. It's well over 50%, Joe. And you said it before the game. You know, he should have shot more. If you're gonna shoot that kind of percentage. He was outstanding. Really looking to make a big jump from last year. He and Kiki Tandy, the super soft more for the Musketeers, both with really impressive performance. Kiki Tandy 18 points off the bench. He had a career high six made three pointers. So hopefully those guys could build on those performances today. Obviously, Xavier has some very good guard. You looking Scruggs Tandy. You have Nate Johnson, Guan Odoms CJ welcher, and they ain't even Cobi Jones complained that one Welcher and Jones come back here with my eyes will make a note. There's still be in quarantine for two weeks. They don't have code that 19, but they were around someone that did so as a result, they've been shut down for a couple weeks. So you hate to miss him. Actually, Jones would have been a starter yesterday for the Musketeers. But as it is, the Musketeers have a lot of guards a lot of shooters, and that brings me to my question. Kiki Tandy, a great talent had 18 points off the bench. Will that be his role issue? It's only one game in is the super sub. Yeah, That's a good question. Joanna. I was kind of surprising What in the starting lineup, but no one told him Hey, got to start as a true freshman. In this first game. There was a lot written about him one of the most celebrated He's be most celebrated highest ranked recruits in this nice recruiting class, and well, he was. He was very impressive, You know, Eat. 12 points, four assists. Two blocks is still got Xavier. Some easy baskets really pressured the ball out on the perimeter. So He did it all Joe and he was, you know, making the case for Hey, I can can run this team get people in their spots share the basketball make plays as well. So very impressive debut by him and Adam was five out of eight from the field scored 12 points. I think the coach was extremely happy with his ability to cut off drives to the bucket. Yeah, he's you know, coaches love defense first, and that's the thing that's gonna going to catch the coach's eyes and defense and then at the point guard position, just making the right decisions and And making good choices, and he did both of those things at a high level. "Getting ready for game two of the three games Tigers in Cleveland Indians thirteen four Indians win yesterday to start this weekend series. You're saying after the game, that's kind of an example of some of the things are dealing with. Right now, in terms of just aren't enough arms either in the rotation on the bullpen. Yeah, we seem to, you know killing a bullpen. I mean you know normally Boyd's been really good. And he had a rough outing over there in Omaha. You turn right back into here and then carpenter kind of goes through the same thing. So it's back to the bullpen and we're stretching them out bucket. He threw forty something pitches or whatever. And we just didn't have, you know, very, many people go to, and I hate going to position player. Hopefully. We'll get Soto out there today. He's coming up in Tripoli, and hopefully he'll throw it over a few innings get Nick in there. And he. Can extend the game a little bit force. He's been doing a real nice job, and we'll get through this without having to go to too many bullpen arms. Again. Today, one guy who might be able to help the vocation Jordan. Zimmerman's only two short. We have starts, but he's apparently talking like maybe he can rejoin the team soon. What is the latest Jordan's just what you said. I mean, we're, we're sitting there trying to wait you know, how how this is going to work out for him. We definitely don't want to put him in a situation where, you know, he's over extended by any means, but his pitch counts going to get up to seventy pitches or so. And we'll have to wait and see. I mean with everything going on. You know, he's probably going to be our best choice here. Pretty quick. So hopefully healthy feels good. He's going to do some bullpens, and then we'll see. We've got lined up. We'll just have to see if he holds true to that. Cobi Jones getting arrest today. He's a little banged up. Isn't he, he is? I mean you know from an it's just this kind of a year when we're been playing a lot of baseball. He's been playing everyday running chasing balls in a gap like last night. But, you know. A little tired. You've got drilled a knee elbow. And it's a little sore. He's been playing so good. I don't wanna over extend him right now. So this is a perfect opportunity to give him a day here. We got a day game tomorrow. He'll play then we'll have an off day. So you know what this is kind of way to give him a little bit of a break hinted yesterday. You said yesterday that I mean, the legs really been a little bit of an issue for him in terms of being able to move it one hundred percent. Yeah. And you know, that's just like I said, when you're running around out there, you get sore hamstrings, sort. And it's just this time of year, when guys get a little beat up, and he's been playing every day and also getting on the bases and run around basis. So there's been a lot, but he loves it. He wants to play again today and like I said, sometimes say, take a break, we're gonna kill you made some good points yesterday. You asked about his defensive metrics so good last year best in the major leagues by defensive unsaved below average this year but you really their good points about the reasons why that might be well sin, consistency would location with our pitchers. I mean, if we're playing them to one way, and then all of a sudden, you're misfiring, and they pull a ball into the. Gap, and we're playing at the ball, opposite lake which is normal with the chart say that kind of beat you up a little bit. And that's with all the injuries to our staff. That's kind of what's happened here. So in what we're just gonna have to keep keep working on our pitchers getting the ball where they need to get all of our guys back. They'll do that. We'll be better defensive your thoughts Jacoby Jones as a center fielder. A premium center fielder having changed. No, none whatsoever. At least center fielder, and he can run them down with the best of athletic, and, you know, he comes in plays every day. So, you know, I still believe that thank you. Got it manager Ron Gardenhire. Stay with us. We've got more to this on the Detroit Tigers radio.

And so I was able to talk about the tournament and all the story lines with the knowledge of having seen the games. I was able to put together a best eleven and feel good about it. A my question is do you still hear from DJ Redan cool? I hang out wanna goes on Redan. Go has not or Leonid Leo has not been to the US yet. But we have exchanged messages. He had a new track come out not too long ago. And when he does come to New York, I would very much look forward to seeing him. I think we are going to connect on when you go for dinner. Do you sit at a table on your own eating and he's behind you kind of just UK? Throw it to him. It's what's most comfortable forever. I mean think about this by the way gusts hitting is in this group that I'm on this nightly show with Redan co the DJ Cobi Jones, Fernando, Fiore K tab dough. And it was a it was a good group of people. And I enjoyed that. I had if you told me a few years ago that I would be like on the air with Gus Hiddink and night. I would have said you're kidding me. And yet he in particular. It was a guy who I enjoyed spending time around and had much more of a sense of humor in a sense of fun about him than I would have expected. Very cool. Hey, this was great, man. We really appreciate the time should be a fun year for US soccer. We'll see which way it goes. But thank you for for coming in and setting us up with guys. I enjoyed it. Good stuff, man. Listening to KADO side soccer podcast..
