"What i mean. There's so many distracting stories are going. Oh yeah that's cool. You know i'm going. Click on that every played football now. Or what's that for go ahead. I hold for the video. Yeah oh well. I think this this show. We wanna finish up with that with your arsenal gates video because Last last week we teed up the section you had there with the With a couple of lions interviews and then this week we want. i mean. We're actually kinda veered off a little bit and We're gonna. We're gonna talk charlie because you did the. He did tom to detroit. Well the interview. Charlie guarantee was one thousand nine hundred eighty six. Okay six if. I'm not mistaken and probably going to get hit comment section but i think it was eighty five that his number was retired by the tigers. I think it was him. And greenberg. I know got retired. Their jerseys out of jamie's going to hit us with the knowledge. Right now at guarantor in Sure in hank. Green charlie guaranteed hank greenberg. I believe their jersey numbers retired on the same day at the same ceremony. They recalled the g. Men recalled jima with goslin. Sure yup the So yeah i think. Yeah i think it was. I think it was one thousand nine hundred five when the two of them had. They had their numbers retired on the same on the same day in one thousand nine hundred got. Okay thanks jamie correct. I thought it was eighty three hits number two. I'd rather have you call me out on that jamie then. Some angry commenters on go for the rest of time they're going. He got that iran charlie geringer told me how he got to the tigers and his story was beyond beyond the story about go ahead hit us. The tiger brass all the personnel of the big shots of the tigers would go out to his farm in our bill fist hunt and every time all this great story this would come out mister gingrich say my son is a heck of a hitter and he can really be a great fielder. Yeah yeah and the tigers yeah. That's exactly what krause cuddled finally asked about three or four years because he was just a little guy at that center they The tigers finally said okay. Bring the kid down the tigers around the road and bring the kid down so gary you're told me that Grand river at that time was was a mud road from fowlerville and they were going down on a saturday and some of the children come up to him and said gee that's cobb played. I'd like to go with it. Could you take us to detroit. So gathering her in the car didn't start they had to have a tractor the puts the way up and he had all these kids in the in the wagon and they were all excited. Gary gersh steady took his own glove in his own bed to the time it was named field and then all of a sudden. He's excited with the kids. Kosovo had never been to detroit period. You know that was a big venture back in the twenties and so they got down there and gingrich won't be on. Never forget this. He said the tractor came down grand river and they got over towards michigan avenue. And he said charlie. That's where ty. Cobb plays naven field at charlie sitcom i was so nervous my god. That's great ballplayer. Played saw pulled up the tracker in front of maven field and went inside and the people said you. Do we got a brand new glove for you and a new bat. When we want you to dress up in a uniform and charlie said i got my own bat and my own glow and they said they worked him with a major league pitcher that time not was a like a minor league. Major your pitcher because that that is our tigers around the road at that so they had the best pitchers and city through to me through to me. And i went out and i feel it and field. It did everything and finally the one guy comes up and he said well. You've been doing this for three hours. And he said here's what we want you to do. We watch it or run base. Second base third base. Don't go to home plate go to the dugout. There's a man here that wants to see you. Okay and gang your did it was naven. Oh said you're a mmediately signed you're going to toronto. That's awesome just like that. He was signed it. yeah task. That was a story that he told me and most have been a very joyful ride back home and that track and those kids were component. Where there's some of the story where cobb cobb saw him too. Because i've read another version of the story like the background part. I have not heard like you told me before. And i guess. And i didn't even use that part of my book Butts on the section. That i had heard was that cobb had saw him play at some point to in cobb said literally demanded. Like this kid's gonna play with this. He's going to the know he's sign him. Like top saw him saw how talented he will sign him. Well charles. there's a possibility that when the tiger brass would up to us. Charlie gingras far family farm deepen up there and i've been up there many times. His firearm was way out there. And maybe cobb was one hundred to know. Supposedly it was ended up ballpark. That cops saw him at at naven. It was supposedly that cobb at some point in that story at some point that story cops saw him play in basically demanded that that that they've been seen rigor and i'm just saying there's a there was some point where cobb cobb did see his talent in cobb was on board with the idea of signing him to could have been this anyways that some san but the background i can understand that but there's another component to which i heard. I think i refresh my memory with my booker but The that bob each was Was involved outfielder for the tigers. They somehow the. I think he had something in. He may have been like a grouse hunter out there that there was something that he had to do. Getting your to like in. Somehow he had seen him play out there and he was he was involved with that getting him to the navy for that opportunity as well. Somehow that goes in that falls in line with. I don't know maybe he played played baseball. If they hit a team up and powder bill. And i don't know where he had to have played. He didn't just come right off the backyard throwing rocks against wall and then go roping homes playing ball out nate and follower but he was. I think that he was pretty well known and follower bill at that time in beach and all them i don't i don't i i would agree with something about the grouse on in that. That would be one of the. Yeah some saying though is i. think that Some you know like some time with vh in kabul whatever would complete the entire story. You know what i mean like there's elements that i can definitely see but there's i've i've actually seen intervene on other side of it. Like with ganger himself where he actually said. Cobb saw how good i was and was like sign this kid also co but i'm just saying like i'm not just like what you're saying i'm saying that there's there's i think you've added some new talent insight with the tractor story and with the idea that they that story can. I can totally see the fact that the roads were muddy. only pay. Well exactly. I mean it was an attractor. It comes to detroit and caring. Said they kind of come out of the navy and field. They kind of scratch their head. You know what's coming here. Now got a tractor the wagon behind it. The trailer budget kids in there is this guy. Yeah gary said he was. The greatest are cops that he was the second. Greatest second counts was cow. And you know. Shortstop horn the st louis card. And i thought somebody i read that same thing about ganger if somebody said that eddie collins was their favorite i maybe it wasn't cobb but i somebody said that eddie counts. They thought collins is better than getting your. But i did. I like hornsby hornsby back to back was the second baseman. Oh yeah i understand..

"Top story the morning Dallas Cowboys. Who Lost to the Eagles yesterday now need it to be Washington and then hope Philadelphia loses to the giants next week in order to get into the playoffs for yesterday's game? Dak Prescott struggled completing clean. Just fifty seven percent of his passes. Keep in mind. He'd been dealing with an injured shoulder all week. Regardless cowboys can't pull it out and a lot of that falls on head coach Jason Garrett or didn't get the job done to control in control and that's our preparations enough the game next week against Washington. Nick is there anything at this point that Jason Garrett can do to safest job no and even if they win and they they know the this is the. I refused last week to engage in the a fantasy that Dallas was all of a sudden going to go on some magical run that after being one team through thirteen weeks because they played a good game in the fourteenth game that was then going to be their Fifteenth Game Sixteenth game and on some no. And I'M GONNA go listen. There's there's a fair amount of stuff on this show that I predict or I say and it turns out I'm wrong about this is not one of them. I said after the Patriot game you fire that head coach and the answer was no. You can't short week weak. And then when they get crushed by buffalo long Thanksgiving at home I said. Now it's on a short week anymore. You fire the head coach. No no no. We can't and then they get crush by the bears and now you have a long week and I said you fire the head coach and I'm just curious. If at any point they had done that would they be in a worse position and then they are now of course not because they've this team was three and they've lost eight of twelve. They were five and three at the midway point. What are they now? They're seven in a nine. We can do that math. They they're seven and eight. Pardon me we seven and nine is maybe a little bit of a projection. There is to me no argument argument to be had that Jason Garrett should retain this job and in my eyes there is no possibility that they make the Super Bowl which is at this point the only way he could retain his job. I think obviously it would take a football miracle they get in. They beat Washington. The Eagles lose which. I'm not not convinced. The Eagles will win that game. I'm GONNA be honest now. I'm not going to go all the way with the miracle and say they get in the playoffs then they win. Two Games aims and get to the conference championship which might be enough in Jerry. Jones is to save his job. It wouldn't be enough in my eyes in my eyes. He will have to get to the Super Bowl all to save his job. Okay but in. Jerry's is maybe if they get to the conference championship but I think the playoffs is possible. Just because I'm not convinced that Philadelphia Adelphia's active Philadelphia was riding. You know. Obviously you're hyped up for that game yesterday. In addition to all that was at stake. It is a rivalry and they hadn't beating Dallas in a while especially without Zeke and Dak playing so they go into their their own emotional. How they get the win? I wouldn't be shocked to see a letdown especially with the giants science coming off a big win and maybe thinking Daniel Jones is special but if they even if they get in. That's not enough look. I think they've had plenty the of opportunities to fire him before and nobody could have said anything. His first three years they were eight and eight. You mentioned Tony Romo earlier. Tony Romo played all but one of those games in his first three years and they were eight. He's been there nine full seasons now three winning records three times if they don't make these playoffs three times out of nine year in the playoffs and you're retaining your job. No and losing enormous games at the end of the regular season has happened more often than not twenty eleven. Two Thousand Twelve two thousand thirteen. You lose in week. Seventeen weeks seventeen to miss the playoffs two years ago. The first game after Zeke suspension. Remember that when they have an opportunity after winning the last. Three Games Zeke suspension to get into the playoff picture. You lose a critical game to Seattle and this year in week. Sixteen you lose this. This came to Philadelphia and I wanted to just go back quickly to that final often to play its fourth eight. Amari Cooper says. He's not winded in the post game. Commentary they just have the regular rotation of guys I know Jason Garrett is not your de facto play caller anymore. That's more the head Goto that football team in that spot with their season on the line if he sees on the field is Jason Witten Blake. Darwin also Michael Gallup. You got three time out out. You don't need them if you don't get the first down anyway. The game's over. You make sure your best players are on the field you make sure Randall COBB and Amari Cooper on on the field in a spotlight that and they didn't do. It honestly felt like they benched Cooper because there were several times in critical situations that he wasn't on the field even before that now. So Cooper as bad as it was to your point. That didn't surprise me as much as COBB COBB and just had a big catch and he he's he's obviously a good possession receiver the fact that he wasn't on the field either is just ridiculous all that plus the fact that Ezekiel Elliott was limited. After what he did last week after after the money you paid him coming into this season after the fact that you were going to essentially be a running team. Because he's your best player even though Kellen Moore had three great opening weeks with Dak Prescott it just just things like this all falls on the head coach at some point probably Sardaz twi proven. He's the best player in Los Angeles. No because.

"After the big week one for both them twenty percent for Conley twenty two percent charcoal first of all is do you have a preference one over the other into what percentage of your fab budget I mean where do they stack up with. Some of the other wide receivers. We've already talked about on this less than well. They're definitely behind both of the Kansas City people because they're on Kansas City and I think I still take Deebo Samuel over them as well and then that's when they slide in. I would probably take shark over. Adler and I probably would be looking around the if I need a wide receiver. That's more plug and play. These guys are more plug and play like they're. They're much more between the tenant tenants. MTA Point Marker which is not bad all running including Dede Westbrook. They're all running over eighty percent of the snaps. Their offense is not that great you know. I'll probably look into up to fifteen percent FAB budget realm. I think that's pretty high for Conley. I think chart I put chuck right in the you know maybe just a hair below the deebo anymore range mean charcoal. Bazeley twice the amount of targets as Conley and yeah I weekly so maybe you may be like ten percent for Conley but I would do fifteen percent for probably deebo an shark and just be like okay whatever when I get happy with and maybe just prioritize ties depot depot and you know Dede Westbrook to I mean he he's lucky he got a touchdown week one to salvage what was a pretty pedestrian day for for him. I mean disappointing. Nick foles gets injured so you know that put definitely put a damper on things but D- westbrook only five targets one catch three a yards. He's he's borderline drop. I mean I only a couple of leagues. I'M GONNA give him one more week but I'm at a point with him where I would definitely drop in for Dj Shark. which was that D. Westbrook yeah he can't start them right now? He's he's just too scary stardom. Unless you know something kind of changes with the offense he's out there running the most snaps but you know cashiers is not looking at him so yep so I said drop to you. Westbrook get your hands on. Dj Char Lot of good receivers this week on the waiver wire. I mean which which should be good for a lot of people including me who have a lot of shares of Mike Evans and Stefan. Not you're benching those players yet but it's good to be able to to tap into a big pool of wide receivers. Last player that we haven't talked about yet is Randall COBB and I think this is eighteen percent ownership percentage. I think this is a really good player with with the news of Michael Gallup being out for a while and a cupcake matchup against Miami at home in week three Kob. KOB is right there with Nelson Angler in terms of short term. Pick them up. Get them in your lineup very high floor great match. Gotcha kind of checking all those boxes anything you want to add to that. Where do you think COBB COBB bits in if you're looking at grabbing players if your own two. That's one thing if you're to know. I don't know what your opinion is. My opinion is Cobb is the type of player that I'd WanNa be wasting space on my bench. He's more of the high floor variety. I'm I'm focusing my attention on. Some of the higher ups guys coming on. I think that's a great example of depending on what type of situation your team is in on. If you should be looking at carbonate I do like cobb more than Devon Smith. I Know David Smith had the the the long past their deep pass. I still in Kabul be more utilize in the offense. Then demonstrate would even with Gallup's exit so we'll see from my wrong on that cobbs. Nice player that again. If you've got a miles boykin to use that example again you obviously want to it gets someone that has been more consistent scoring points even if quote unquote miles book and he used to have more upside thing at this point to be nice to get Cobb in because we're going to start hitting is is here in a couple of weeks and so if you don't have Gallup you're gonNA need someone to fill in a plug and play for those buys in in Cobb is a great person for that all right that wraps up our waiver wire players. We got the big Thursday night. AFC South showdown Tennessee see against Jacksonville. We can look look for that. I mean if anybody has little kids like like I do and you have to find a way to to get your you know your like your baby to sleep. Keep Tennessee Jackson game on in the background. I think that would work wonders so it sounds like you know from experience yeah. I'll definitely have it on background so that wraps up go and pick up some of these wide receivers we are the NFL talking heads. We'll see next week. I think it's a really you know it's one of those things and it's not just a cow and it's how much how much do we believe in the ravens. How much do we we believe the only team that kicked ass in week one that you can you know you can feel confident in we've got the Patriots and that's whatever happens with the Antonio Brown thing thing I mean they're still going to be awesome but an lead them tonio brown the way Tom Brady first of all if you don't cover somebody down the field on my body just saying. I don't think a forty two year old Tom. Brady the greatest of all time can still throw a post route down the middle of the field fifty yards and receivers open open. I mean that is so ridiculous. The guy runs that wide open especially when you're playing someone like Tom. Brady but so I was I was thinking about this and whether you think the cowboys will regress and I'm not saying that you're saying that but like just looking at their opponents they play Washington and Miami game to score five touchdowns no no. I don't think that that's not saying that regressing saying that. They're going to play teams like Chicago Chicago. They're gonNA play New Orleans. We're going to play the patriots their schedules. It's GONNA get harder. I mean it is and I I totally agree with that but they also again. They get Washington twice. I think we've been it's two more wins. Get the giants again. That's four. You're sweeping those two. you get the dolphins. You're already at five. Live your halfway to ten. It's pretty good solid way to be you. Get solloway pardon. What did you think about the Miami. Dolphins all sudden tweet now that we want you wanna be traded tweet and other agents after that fifty nine ten asp fast kicking. I don't blame them. I Ah I also know that's going to be a win but I also feel like how did they. How are they just now learning that the dolphins tanking you know what I mean like. It's been pretty obvious for a while so I don't know how one game is is. What wakes yeah but I don't blame them. I wouldn't I WANNA be around that either. I bet they're all looking at you know even though the Texans lost they're looking at Laremy Tunsil Kenney still send like Oh. That's that's a lot cooler to be on a good team but I mean I just I guess the question is. I thought the cowboys were a top five team. I I WANNA powering them. I the fifth best team in the NFL before the season started i. I really think that they are team. I think this team is is flirting with the NFC championship at the I think I think they're extremely talented and I think think now people are more aware of that. I think you know look I really. I know you warrior your Monday winning. Ah I know look. I think that you're drinking kool-aid a little bit and look. I'll allow you to do that but I think I I know I'm GonNa go with. It sounds like it spike with what little that's a little bit of coconut something something at that the twiss back. I'm I'm with you. I'm but I'm just going to beat Kennedy. I would say more of a religious and more stir being pragmatic think about this is that I really I have a tendency to judge a team on the first performance. Let's and because to me. It's always to me it's been the eighth game in season is kind of the the mark for me and see where they're at but if I look at if I compare this taint the last year the opening game they and it's it's not day and I think even the defense. They only gave up seventeen points defense. They didn't play uh of really out by their standards. A great game may never playing against a really tremendous player and saquon Barkley and so they're going to get better on on on on defense so I kind of torn but here's the thing also is it when you look at this team and they continue to be able to manufacture once and be affective and be able to put up points and be able to give the defense three touchdowns four touchdowns whatever the Games are never going to be close because their defense fancy only. GonNa get better. I agree with all that and I agree with you. Pump the brakes because and that's why the question that the real point and this is it is fair to question whether it's sustainable and I don't know that I mean to be fair. There are some people that are diving into the coolidge but I mean you know I just the cowboys. Fans have a tendency to do that. That's true well. Every fan has a tendency to do that yeah but I felt like me when I'm sitting there watching lots of the game. Rj you're at the game thanking wow this is weird. This come from that about the explosive. Their offense was us. I tweeted something about this because if you if you want to believe that this was there all along which I get his fair because a lot of it is the same talent but then it's like. How did they like. What was Scotland a Hindu. You know how how did how can and you look back at what Scotland an was and you know the be happy or be not in raged like this. The cowboys won ten games last year with Scotland and trapping them that's-that's credible when you think about it well again as you mentioned off the stop. The show and we talk about that you know this is Kelly Moore's I I call in in in in the NFL so tame sharing get film and they're going to see what they're doing on and they're going to try to figure things out but my gosh you got Michael Galloping leading receiver I mean that dude is playing possess Amari cooper three or four for different guys that he threw a touchdown pass to the up and Blake Jar. I mean so to me. That's what I like. There's a variety not just one dude. It's like a variety of weapons which is cool. I agree I agree so I think the way I would sort of summarize. That point is don't get me wrong there times uh-huh or dinner. I'm you know I'm cool with just like a steak and a potato like that. I'm good with that tonight. Like that's kind of what I feel like eating but Scotland Eoghan he you know at one point he made a pretty mean stake in premium potato and that was like a meal he got good at and then that was the only thing he ever made and it was just like you know takes next eight potato potato and like I mean that's awesome at certain points like hey dude. I mean it'd be nice to have a piece of salmon. You know it'd be nice to get some chicken or something and you're you're right. I mean and it's not just a variety of of weapons and a variety of people. It's new weapons. They went out and got Randall. COBB BOGAS A second-year player Blake Jar one and is getting opportunities something else whitten said afterwards because he was asked about like the balance between him and Darwin and he was like look. I mean I think it. Kinda worked out perfectly. You know it worked bad to where he got his. I got mine and you know you can't really plan for that but I mean technically they added Jason. witten you know half half of their touchdowns who I'm talking passing touchdowns what to do to or not on the team last year. Randall COBB and I want to give Michael Gaps in love in a minute but Randall Cobb Cobb looks like the elite version of Randall Cobb right now he really does and to thank the everybody's question whether Kobe easily or was was why they make that by not bring him back and go out and get someone round look like Ramu Golvin. I think that's a prime example the do stiff arm and guys and all night gone looked like the modern version the young as you mentioned the young version ran lacob and the dude was his plan like he just you know he was angry and again again anytime you're able to create plays for guys like that especially in space and you know this being relentless out there and then you can get the ball to did all those dudes and they're all going to be able to make place for you so. Michael Gallup said something in the locker room that I wanted to get your thoughts on because again n I've never worn a football helmet to work before you have so. He said that he's wearing a visor this year. He's added one for a very specific reason Tony Tony Apparently Michael Gallup whereas context and they fall out often. I guess why he's playing and so he's wearing a visor so that that it will hopefully catch the contact as it falls out of his. I noticed that contact lens when I was playing. Didn't they all out oh yeah they fell out but not not that much but when I did fall APP it was it was very difficult to play and a defensive Lineman so I can the only imagine as a wide receiver. You've got actually got to see the Paul Right but my recommendation was him to him would be to have late surgery because you know that alleviates all the the contact Lange and everything but but to me first of all when you have a contact lens ends at falls out. They're hard to find me and that's just like an at home. They're hard to find right right and you China. Find it on your visor. I'll just go the sideline and Jim our ever whoever the trainer is Brett Brown. I need another. I need to put my contact lenses. That'd he'd really difficult to just look down advice and put them in but I would think I would I'm surprised even advise him to skate lace exec because that is just a gives you the quality of life where you don't. You're you're asking so why the hell did. I ever wear contact lens right so when he said that I asked him if because I don't no if if I actually remember this or if I'm making it up like it's one of those you know how sometimes you have you have a memory of your like. Did that really happen or did. I just make that up. I kind of remember hearing that Chris Simms when he was the quarterback at Texas that his visor was his prescription because he wore glasses and so I I don't know Oh yeah yeah okay. Okay Yeah Yeah it. Did that really happen so yes. So that makes a lot of sense yeah. The reason why you wear visor yes it prescription you can do there and you can make glasses prescription. Why Not Make Fun right right so yeah. I mean I think adviser that makes a a lot of sense that makes more sense than the with the story because if you're just going to have a little visor there and it's all prescription the only part about that is that if it gets opposite dirty and you get sweat on and you're going to be at their wife and a lot but that to me. That's like a huge little microscope right that you're on your on your face. Your face masks the best part about this. I know that nobody can see this podcast but the best part was you. Were literally putting your hands like your face goggles. Toss it exactly right but but that makes more sense in the world but uh especially as wide receiver but again I I'm just surprised at never having recommend because it's so easy happens instantly and then you go from twenty two seventy five to twenty fifteen just like that I wrote something. I don't think it's out yet. We'll have it out later. This you know either on Wednesday or Thursday today at the site but do you know the cowboys record. Since Amari Cooper has joined the team okay. They brought him game game eight one six it they played. They played nine ten games. They played nine regular season games with him and then to playoff games another one there so I'm GonNa go in so that's a total eleven games correct yes and then we've got obviously Sundays. So we got got twelve. I would state that he nine and three dude get yourself a prize man I would. I pull that math go go. Oh get a a a A. I was some some well done work they are nine three. I feel like that's not said enough. They're nine and three. Do you know how many the games they've lost at home with him. that would be zero. is the first one against that's it. They've lost one game at home against and it was the first one right so I'm off because he had a I had over one hundred yards that day or close to it and I the head the touchdown but he he really went off on Thanksgiving against went off and then he went off against the Eagles and his first home games games against the Redskins Eagles and giants he had at least one hundred yards in all of them he had two hundred yards against the eagles had three touchdowns against had touchdowns and he again I mean we we made a deal that in understandably so but that dude literally changed this team and what's more and I think that the last sort of thought from the is the impressive part about that is the cowboys didn't go into the offseason. Okay we gotTa Marty. Cooper were good. They continue changing their continued evolve in the continued trying trying to add more and more and more and I think now we see that with Michael gap and Randall COBB and to your point Blake Darwin I mean they have athletes everywhere in the vertical passing okay so you don't think that that Amari Cooper and his agent are using that stat you do. We just mentioned like Hey Steven and Jerry..

"Dot com, and in fifteen minutes, fifteen percent or more on car cheered Santa Bogart's homerun three to Yankees. So an entertaining game only in the top of the fourth Porcelli oh, and her mum, the pitches in this ball game her mom is worst outing of the season. Portillo has been pitching well lately so game far from over. That's for sure Portillo not great tonight, but he has been pitching well in the month of may. Now we have turned over to June first. Eight five five two two four CDS. We'll talk to Steve Gardner USA today. Writer fantasy columnist coming up in our next segment. Find out what he's thinking about the world of baseball the. Twins of all teams in the twins. Have the best record and in all of major league baseball. And it'd be tap again today and they continue to. Kind of dominated every facet of the game and they're not solid. They're winning. I don't know. It's just it's, it's an anonymous group, you know, it's a vanilla anonymous group and they're right now, you know, they're, they're kind of feeling the curse of what I talked about earlier, and that is, hey, this is great man. We gotta go to the postseason try to do it all over again. Prove that we're no fluke. And nobody believes the twins. Are that good yet? I mean and it doesn't matter. You know, you find out internally doesn't matter what people think like it doesn't matter to the raptors or the blues. What people think before these series started people. The Bruins were locked in and going to win. And they thought gold state was locked in and gonna win. They were just better and Thurs, we're over, and that's you know, you got a battle against that a little bit. But mostly you take care of your own business and the twins. Certainly will be doubted if the twins go to the playoffs with, with Boston, Houston, the ankles, nobody's going to be taking Minnesota. I don't care how many games they win. They're just going to assume that things aren't going to work out. So when you're on one of those teams you can't read the clippings, you know, you can't read the clippings and you can't. Warri about what everyone else thanks for what the experts. Thank you. Take care of your own business. And it's funny how sports generally if you do what you're supposed to do. It takes care of it self. It's we spend an awful lot of time scouting the opponent. What the of this, that the other thing if you do what you do you generally? Are happy. You're generally thinking. We're going to do fine if we execute what we're supposed to do. And that goes, obviously, from the little league level all the way up and the only time it doesn't work as one year and doesn't happen in major leagues because this hardly ever happens major leagues. But sometimes along the way you're out, classed. You could play great. But the other team is so much better than you are. Doesn't matter. You could have great great game. Do everything. Right. Not make airs and still lose that because you just don't have the players, but that doesn't happen very often. You know it doesn't happen very often. It's usually about mistakes or the things that you did not execute on that, every that really are the different. And. I think watching. These play out. It's fun to root for the underdog, because you get that sense that that city along with those players in that organization is going through a one and only moment here we are on the big stage might be the last time we get here. You know teams learn. I mean like Dan Marino, never want to Super Bowl. You know, I mean teams learn people learn that. What might appear to be a given? Oftentimes isn't. And and therefore. You know, you got a grasp it when you when you've got it, and I think that in Saint Louis, and in Toronto, that's definitely the case you had to try to get that hockey game up. Not a boy. These is working on it. Our boy these, he's like a monster. He could lift this entire building at seventeenth stories put it the trunk of his car and drive away. He he's a beast is don't wanna fight him one. I do when I get like guys like Zouk on the elevator. Whatever I get elevators guy like Tzilker bigger. I immediately asked him to fight because it lightens the tone right away. Like he knows right away. I'm kidding. And he likes the fact that instead of just thinking it I actually say it out loud. I don't wanna meet this guy anywhere. But, you know, most people say that out loud, because they're normal. I'm not normal, and I like to announce on normal when I get an elevator with a person. So they are aware at thanksgiving, when they're talking about, hey, I got on the elevator. What is really abnormal guy? So I want them to have a story to tell. So I'm always looking for the other guy, giving him something Lhamo, though. Something something case they needed, but the big man he is he is not nearly as lazy as I am. I like the pillow myself good friend of mine the pill, we get along fine while look at the gym. I'm with the pillow. Amin appel get along fine. Never criticizes, nothing. He has found the hockey game. It's no mill Cobb Cobb Jimmy, Jimmy zero no score was Ryan would say it's tied for both teams. He told me that earlier, he said, you know, you can bring this up on the air if you want. But if one team is tied than the team, they're playing also tied. A said, thanks, Ryan. She at it. That's what makes you the producer that you are today. You know. He said, don't worry about Chris. I'm with you wintertime. I'm your man. All right. We turn our attention to baseball. We'll talk to Steve Gardner USA today coming up. It is update time the aforementioned Darwin's book..

But the bottom criticize sixteen Lafayette saw the Tigers by eleven Martin's got nine and pressure on the of Smith's got. It goes right by Bruton into the front court. I would catch up top of the key right side Cobb hand off their to Adams avenue since it left side to Patel left watch. Here's Cobb Cobb up. Top Wilson get stab important ear drives down, and then was trying to deliver to the corner and follows called on the u of them it'll be on Thornton. Boy that looks like a tie up Harris who's going to tie up, and they call a foul, and that'll be the fourth in the U of M in Wilson's gonna shoot free throws. And here's a guy fifty five. Five percent on the year. And from the line today to of five Tigers solely. Solely have a chance day to get in free throw line later on fourteen files. You think about it? And. Wilson's first. By the way is good due to miss this one for sure box out sixty three fifty three seven twenty six to go. And he makes them both. Nikes committed only fourteen thousand it's good to see that. That'd be a two point situation. Given ninety point game pressure beaten. Martin's got it the front court out of Britain against the two three zone. He gives it to Harris center circle left. Doctor Bruton in the corner to Davenport, skipped past right side, Harris Harris with a crossover dribble to the right elbow. He'll put it up in nice nifty booth and close to the basket by Harris. Susan Glen, sixty five fifty four you of Emma. Smith will bring it up. Now a little bit of pressure by Harris gets into the front court with three seconds spare now to Kabul almost pushed off on Davenport. Hand off the towel brings to the middle left. Dark gives a Brandon Adams left watch the Cobb on Davenport. And he charged. You could say that would coming. Six forty six to go turnover. Number sixteen. Seventeen excuse me on the huskies. And the Tigers get it back up eleven. Are the boob? Inside college basketball that get me charge Bruton in the frontcourt. Way out on the left side by the Davenport comes to set a pick certain guest to the middle group has got some room. He's going to the hall off last right hand got it. Very poor pats. Abishai screen air by uconn, sixty seven fifty four leads thirteen with six twenty to go in the game is Smith brings it into the front court Smith crossover. Trouble hands it off left side of ital- Christian towels going gonna let go along three rooming. No rebound knocked away from Davenport by Brendon Adams left side. Smith drives down puts it up in the lane on the freeway their right to the rim. Easy angle. Sixty seven fifty six just bad job. Really by Davenport of taking care of rebound. Here's Bruton into the front court. Bruton works to the free throw line sense of tomorrow, right corner. Harris a three won't go on a good rebound by Wilson up ahead to Smith Smith to the right elbow into the paint has the ball knocked away by Harris out of bounds now. Smith had a man in the short corner. He could fed it to him for a wide open three and Bala. Now's amount. Tyler Polly coming into the game for Bryan Adams Brendon Adams. Holly. With four fouls comes back. In Tigers swore cross again, vile oven and the re comes to the towel lopsided work on Davenport for us right side. Polly he's gonna shoot a three that rims now on the rebound inside taken all lost by Bruton picked up by Cobb. Cobb puts it up by Devin pepper right to poly. Holly drives down launches one won't Bruton on the rebound here. Come. The Tigers broke down the middle Bruton aged right corner. For Harris Harris will bring it out. They had numbers they could attacked and they chose to go for the three now. Harris top of the key leaves it inside a bullet passed Evan portrait of had. It goes off a ham. Martin tries to save any crashes into the photographers edible should belong to uconn. And that that's just two in a row. Wasted opportunities. Pass a little too much mustard on a damper would look and he turned a ball is right there didn't have a chance to react to this rebound battle. The Tigers were. Once up by eight or nine there actually behind twenty seven twenty five full court pressure Bush. Smith. Absolutely hit Bruton right in the mouth right in front of Chuck Jones. I don't see how he can see that. At our listens. Got it Senator circle front door hands at the Polly right back to Wilson. These driving down puts it up, and it goes dead ball go in. Bitsy doodle layup there sixty seven fifty eight lead down to nine with four fifty two. Martin walks it up Britain will come out and gets the ball from takes it left up fifteen on the clock as he gets to the leftover backs up and out the right up in the paint shovels Thornton. He's gonna fire a three way off and out of bounds. Four and a half to go in the game. It's not over yet. And just trying to let you come back into this thing that was a whipper there. Anyway. That makes you think his legs are tired. I be David Kuby. What the problem was? So paalea Limbaugh the ball. Anne. Goes to the Tyler trying to get to dismiss Paolo give it to Smith underneath. And he's gonna bring up on Tyler Harissa grad student on a freshman. The front court with a second despair. And then tries to take it away from Carlton and Thornton picks up his four third pillar. That's his fourth still a couple of well, I wouldn't foul to give now for the Tigers had a couple of play with four twenty to go. Evans was trying to get any wouldn't let them paalea Limbaugh the ball. The. Get it in the Smith Smith eighteen on the clock. Goes up high to Carlton, Josh Carlton ends to the tally taking a deep three. And he got it. Now, he wanted to ball screen came off the area was gonna look and all of a sudden, it's sixty seven sixty one a six point game. The Tigers sixteen point lead has been shaved down. Here's Martin on the left side. Fifteen turnovers have heard Martin working in on the towel. Looks and goes up top to Bruton's Bruton hands it to Harris, right side, right blocks, Davenport on Carlton, go right by him as it up a follows on Carlton. And that'll be the tipped on Josh Carlton. Danny Hurley is walking all the way across the court in front of the expensive seats. I'll tell you what I think he's a good couch that he is one hot dog..

"It is remarkable when you've got and they've all play hard, and well, so, but I'm singling them out because they've been so consistent with the first eight nine games when you get consistent solid play from guys like Baker and Omaria. It's amazing. How good they are at times because you need a basket Baker steps up right after forum kind of had the momentum. And then Marie has just been playing with so much energy. These I sixteen minutes it's been tremendous. And he makes good plays. You just make those BC's. The he sees the game the games beginning to beginning to see the play before the play the last pass underneath is a good example. He hit he is out of the game right now as Montana's Mattis's back. Even I on that. Four thirty to play in the first Rutgers ahead twenty three nineteen to ball. Oh Hamm says it straightaway. Picked up his dribble needs some help. Cobb comes takes the hand off. Then he triples the ball right into Baker. It's lose Baker dives to the ground tied up with honor. We'll have a jump ball. And this time Rutgers will have it with the with the arrow. So scarlet Knight ball with four twenty two on the first in the midst of a seven run leading by four. There's Baker again. They look like also was gonna get down the lane. Good hands. Good help by multiple Rutgers players knocked the ball away. Then Baker goes on floor dives force of jump gives Rutgers the possession. Those little plays. Our game winners. Interesting to see Peter kiss having a conversation with Cobb. You don't usually see that too often as they were actually laughing about something together. Rutgers with the ball as for Baker to kiss deflected by Cobb at a balance. Rutgers will inbound right in front of the Rutgers bench. Now, four fourteen to go on the first Rutgers had twenty three nineteen. But Peters chatter, but it's good to see him smiling. Closer them Harper to throw in Pokhara defending lobby the Carter between the circles and the handed off to Baker twenty on the shot clock for Rutgers Baker sliding to his right crossing over on honor flip the past Harper left side faked the three turning spinning left lane shot blocked away. But a foul called and bond Harper, we'll get a couple of free throws. Good at Kristof move, terrific aggressive, Barbara really struggled shooting the ball range with that time. Good ball fake Jewish defender tool. Put the ball on the four left handed on the left hand side of four in front of the bench soon as you put it spun back to the basket to the middle. Good offensive move by Harper. Harper three of nine from the line. So far knocks down the first. Shaquille dourson infra shack Carter Rutgers now with h straight points leading twenty four nineteen the free throw for Harper. His first point this afternoon that was the kind of movie back in highschool instinctively. So that's a good sign for Rutgers as these young players getting more and more into the season. Second free throws good for Harper. He goes to for to and it's nine zero spurt for Rutgers daily twenty-five nineteen three fifty eight to play here in the first four to with the ball straight up the floor. Honor guarded by Baker moves to his right, right? I e FICO balanced past. Oh, Hans top of the key handball cop. I got away with a walk over the shoulder throw from his park near sidestep inside the three point line. Forces a jumper off balance. No good Baker the rebound. Here comes GIO flip. A passenger corner for kiss was high. And whites we jumped passes as he caught it to Mattis back for Baker straightaway. Baker gets a screen from dourson not much doing though. Fire a fastball. A kiss left side fake, the three triple drive across the paint shot blocked away gets it back and puts it in another offense rebound terrific job by Peter kissed. Not worrying about the block shot by Austin. He stayed with it. And he got the two points. Puckers now Ford eleven straight daily twenty seven nineteen. Here's the top of the cage come near side for Austin. Austin Carr to the right side for Cobb Cobb now between the circles with the shot clock at ten Austin left-wing bounced past all hands leading up to the basket lays up an end softly around the rim and down. Another good slip to the basket break that run by. Snapped at eleven oh, running deed, and we get a whistle and a foul and we get a time out to forty four to play the first Rutgers at twenty seven twenty one other workers IMG sports network. We dimply clinic long lines at backed up that they can't cope with the rush. So it would take him to get his Chan Redon, but he will be back. He will be back on Monday risks the show. In the meantime, the places gonna Hal, and you can talk about anything you want to talk about anything you want to talk about I tell you. I'd like to talk about something that isn't Amy sorta way ties that sarcasm thing in that. It's one of those it's not a it's one of those things just just sorta packa- late Sunday the surface. And and and this like one of those portents to the future, I worry about I saw a couple of days ago. Stan lee. Had died at the age in ninety five is great great, man. He's the founder of marvel COMEX, and he's the fella who came up with the idea for spider man, and the fantastic four and the incredible hulk and the avengers and x men and all the guys now when you want to go and see a movie that you could never make these things in the movies as recently as thirty forty years ago because it looked ridiculous because you couldn't you didn't have all the computer technology. So when they did the hulk on TV any from the puny little what was his name Bruce banner. From the little puny guy. He was normally and burst out of his clothes into the incredible hulk. He didn't look like the incredible hulk. He just looked like a guy about five inches taller than the fella who played in money listening credible. How without computers. You couldn't do any of this stuff. And now when you want to go to the movies, you think oh I'd like to see what I really in the mood for like some boring chick flake or something from eastern Europe with subtitles. And you go to the movie theater and said, it's all this X men twelve ironman thirty seven Black Panther, Mr. Snerdley was forever. Trying to get me to talk about Black Panther this fantastic kingdom of wack hand. The only functioning country in Africa everybody at it's the bottle for the world at all these things and Stanley is the guy who created all this. And I met him once said the democrat convention in two thousand if my memory serves it was just after they booed the boy scouts at that point. Boy scouts when the homophobic haters. They became a couple of years later, but they just had some some court case or something about refusing to have gay scout masses. So these eagle scout guys come out to do the presentation of the colors and the page of allegiance and everybody boos. And so I'm like staggering up the aisle thinking. Wow, these Democrats are really freaky with that booing. Boy scouts. That's actually democrat genius. Boy scout used to be a Senate used to be a vernacular expression for your the good guy. Michael man, the climate hockey stick guy who's who's been suing me for years. He always says that you know, people I may have the climate deniers where the haters, and he's the good guy. He's the boy scouts because boy scout used to be a synonym for the night sky. The good guy. That's how good the Democrats. They took the synonym for a nice guy. Good guy boy scout and turned it into a term for homophobic haters in nothing flat. Very good at actually appropriating the language and turning it on its head, brilliant brilliant, at it actually taking words that have meant things is for generations for centuries and turning them on that. And STAN Lee, the creator of all these superheroes. He did something else that I get worried about and you know, my kids every so often they drag me along because I wanna see I thirty seven. Cardboard man forty-three franchise man, eighty two I can't stand these films. I'm so bored. Bald bored by them. I like it when when you there in three days, so you have to have the cardboard spectacles does at least. I can just stick them on and go to sleep, and nobody knows actually Cobb Cobb. Oh, man, the cowboy boots spectacles for three day with to these things. Terrible. His his the serious point about it. Heroism particularly for young men, heroic behavior. Is an important quality in society. To be able to teach young men that there were times you may be called on to be a hero. Ordinary people may be cold on to be a hero. So now, we have superheroes. And there's something actually very disturbing to me about that the way that's superheroes. Have crowded out the field, they've sort of confined heroism into this area of sort of computer generated fantasy and that's disturbing to me the best stories from out ordinary people who are called on to be aerospace. Because that's generally how it goes in life. You know, if you think about whatever you want to think about d day, the Normandy, invasion, the guys getting off those ships and scrabbling food the the cold waters onto the beaches of France, they they were farmers. They would accountants they were feed store. Clocks, they want superheroes. They hadn't been bitten by a radioactive spider. And I think that's I think that's the difference. I mean, that's that's what the superhero stories tell us that unless you bitten by radioactive Spidey best to steer clear of the whole heroic business. And it's actually rather disturbing the trend. I mean, as I said Stanley is a great, man. A brilliant man unique man and a guy who started in comic books in nineteen thirty nine working for nothing. Working jude. They would they would like paid a flat fee and didn't make a lot of money and the characters they created the idea that in the marvel characters he created in the early sixties would be actually singlehandedly keeping Hollywood alive as we approach the third decade of the twenty first century that's a spectacular business achievement. But as a cultural achievement, I'm not I'm not terribly happy about it. I like I like, I don't like superheroes. I like heroes. I like ordinary people who find themselves in a situation where they all be gated to rise above their ordinariness and find inside them heroic. All it is. And if you notice we don't actually see any movies, we don't actually tell ourselves any stories that are like that anymore and for good or ill. That is the world that the. Marvel comics and all the rest of it have made. I it's very bad that you should always listen, very carefully to the store is a society tells itself because it's telling you, you can only be heroic. If you're born on the planet krypton or you're bitten by a radioactive spider. That's actually, there's something Tenny, and hollow and unheralded about that. And we should listen to that very carefully. Mark signed for.

"Precincts reporting, so far Brian Kemp leads this race fifty five point one percent. Stacey Abrams forty four percent. Still a lot to go. As you know. A lot of the urban counties are still some of the folks are just the polls just closing just close seven minutes ago. That's right. Because it was mandated that they had to stay open. We saw some some improprieties going on there some irregularities some things that shouldn't happen somewhat say in elections. We have a great panel here tonight. Of course, we were there were lamenting that we should have been better prepared when it came to an election, and of course, in election with such a such largesse, even in the state of Florida, we've been watching this one gal him to Santa's rates. Yeah. Guillem is right now at ninety nine percent of the precincts reporting. This number has stayed steady for about a half an hour now as they wait for those last polls to close in Florida, forty eight point nine percent for Gillingham's forty nine point nine percent for designers. We are less than whereabout seventy something thousand votes apart, and whether or not the counties in south Florida can make up that number. It's going to be close. It's really going to be close right now, we have democratic strategist Aaron Johnson Republican strategist Brian Robinson on the line with us, gentlemen. Thanks for joining us again. You bet Brian beer. Yeah. Brian when you look at what's going on right now from your angle, what's what's the deal? Well here in Georgia. You're seeing Kim outperforming Trump, and the Trump counties these rural counties, so his tragedy is working. He is widening the margin in rural Georgia, obviously. These margins are still going to continue to tighten metro Atlanta counties. Come in you're gonna see Abrams serves here towards the end. It looks like Abrams. It's gonna do very well when that county, for example, Democrats are having a very good night there in Gwinnett and right now the incumbent congressman from there. Rob woodall? Yes. Down to Caroline bardo. The democratic challenger. So that interesting race to watch and one where there may be a flip. But I'm feeling really good about where it can't be as right now. I think if you look down the statewide ballot. The Republicans who are underperforming camp. I do think are could be headed for a runoff. But I don't see any statewide Democrats taking all any of the Republicans and the state wide races tonight. Then you disagree. Well, I think the one thing that is sort of a yet to be seeing is exactly what Brian just say wanna county. Our at is Cobb County. You know, one of the things that we have seen yet. It's all the reporting coming apple Cobb Cobb County. Did they county day Hillary Clinton one or two thousand sixteen totally agree with Brian? I think when that county is going to be a difference maker. But also as you pointed out Maria, we definitely had some voter machine problem. Somebody regularity happened in Fulton County. And so I think as we continue to bring in the metro counties. I would tell you this Franken Maria start paying attention to this race when it gets up to about eighty eighty five percent of the precincts reporting. And as a person who's been in many campaigns by Brian, you know, right now Davis campaign. I'm sure is banking on these sort of metro counties to come in big for her to try to really close this margin. But I think the bottom line is this is that will the college educated white women, many of whom limited metro area the and money. Stacey Evans has spent trying to persuade them to vote for her not bright. Kemp did those people show up? And I think that right now what we see is a great deal of both coming from a rural area. But I do believe that the campaign had a really good deal TV strategy that they definitely cross closed very strong on election day. All right CNN is reporting right now on one hundred percent of the Fulton County votes. They're saying so far estimated Stacey Abrams will take that contest. With seventy three percent of the vote and Gwinnett county right now. Stacey Abrams with forty four percent of the votes coming in already Stacey Abrams lead fifty six point two percent to Brian Kemp's forty two point eight percent. And as we were just talking a few moments ago, even about Cobb County right now, Brian Kemp leads with twenty seven percent of the votes in Brian. Kemp leads Cobb County with sixty two point one percent of the vote. Sixty two point one percent of the vote to Stacey Abrams. Thirty five percent. Yeah. Well, there's some other encouraging signs for Democrats across the country in Kansas, particularly it seems the wizard of Oz. And all that kind of good stuff. Fortunately, crisco Bach who is really the author of voter suppression in this country lost. He a big Trump supporter of Trump appointed him to head up his voter suppression commission. He loss to Laura Kelly, and that's a huge win because Trump won Kansas, but with twenty points in the election years ago. So also in a democrat won the gubernatorial race in Colorado, which I think was widely expected so and the Democrats are picking up more speed in the house races. So it does look like even though they will not be able to win the Senate does look like they're picking up minimum in the house isn't FOX calling them the way, I think FOX's all recalled that the Democrats will take control the house of representatives. Which is setting up more of the battle over democratic leadership will Nancy Pelosi the speaker of the house when Democrats take over and Jane where will the the younger insurgent candidate. Will it be heard? A lot of heat about round people saying why thing waters being considered for speaker of the house. So it's gonna be interesting to see the director of the house of representatives going forward. Mayor Campbell use brought up the word the words voter suppression. Jero Griggs is been an issue for quite some time. Now, I remember four years ago. Stacey Abrams was the one. That said, you know, there's there's a lot. That's not right in this state or she registered almost what ninety three thousand voters tomorrow le-. Let number was was moved away because of some supposed votary regularities. Yeah. What do we see for future for the future in terms of voter suppression with what has gone on the numerous lawsuits that we've seen? What does this set the stage for what does this show us all as a nation? Well, me it shows us that the the playbook that they are trying to reduce the access to the ballot. So we have to be hyper vigilant, but we also have to give people reason to turn out because we've been registered voters in registering voters, but we can register all the voters in the world. But if they don't turn out, Dan, we're just you know on a treadmill? So I think that it's continued to show us that. Yes, we need a hyper vigilant voter registration policy, but we need a mobilization in education platform. So that when we have the candidates there. The voters are enthusiastic they will show up and we can start to reduce the margins because again Brian camp had removed one point two million voters from the roles last year alone seven hundred thousand. We had the fifty three thousand that we had to sue to get back on the roles. So we see that there's a policy, but like mayor Campbell said with Chris Khobar going down as governor in Kansas. We see that there is a way to remove this issue in our country. And I think it shows a way forward. Encouragement you we can walk away. If the House Democrats take over the house, you'll see the black caucus. You'll see a Maxine Waters chairman of financial services, the CR maybe four or five African absolute takeover committed. Absolutely. And so all is not lost. And so the message beyond tonight is politics is fluid thing we get a chance to do this again in two years where on the ballot is going to be Donald Trump. And so maybe maybe this is a scrimmage that's mayor Campbell saying may, maybe, you know. I don't know how you stop him. I don't know, frankly, how you stop him. Because if we are saving nine years old, I think he's going to run us. Oh, but here's the thing. You got Bernie Sanders, and you got Hillary Clinton about the same age. And so. Same thing happened. Again, we are going literally almost to the cemetery to get our candidates. And so if we don't see the lack of emerges of estates Abrahams or Gilliam who would ima Harris Kamala, Harris, we don't see some of these people kind of began to move in this Democratic Party. We're in trouble. Let's take a break. We'll come back with more. It's our election night coverage. We're still waiting Florida's still sitting at ninety nine percent for over an hour. Why is that Bill well because the last few votes nine percent the election is really decided? I mean, the last one percent is not in order for an election to be decided with less than one percent really require some some. Election jujitsu, and that's just simply not going to happen. What you're gonna have is those are some last, but votes, absentee votes. Some votes from the military cooks. Those are the kind of votes that are still outstanding. But it really the vote when you have nine percent the vote is really over at that time. All right. Let's take a break. We'll be back. Of course. It's our election night coverage here on the people stationed v one if you're a parent, you'll get this..

"Viewing enjoyment today. One of them submitted by Dave the intrepid producer was from the game last night, the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay rays and the pitcher. Took a one hundred nine mile an hour line drive off of Aaron judge is back and caught it next to his face. Now. Dave are back and looked at this. I remember this. This is not the first time that a Tampa Bay rays pitcher has almost been hit. Because the Tampa Bay rays pitcher did get hit is that right now for six years ago. Yeah. I missed two months last name was Cox. I cannot for the life of me. Remember his first name strategy. Crazy. I think it's called this has happened before Cobb Cobb. What's his name cop, Alex Cobb? That's it Alex Cobb got hit straight off the bat just whacked and he was a missed like two months of the season. So this is frightening and really really scared. There wasn't a another incident like this in nineteen fifty seven. Yep. Curb score for Cleveland was pitching against the Yankees. Gil McDougall in the first inning. He hits a line drive. It's cheekbone. Yeah. It does hit him and his eyes cheek. Broke bones in his cheek go McDougal didn't even run to first base. He ran immediately out to the mound and. It turns out McDougal said to the press. If he loses vision in that, I retire. Wow. And turn as it turned out score. Fully recovered had twenty twenty vision restored in his eye. And he was well, I think what's his name. Cobb is still pitching. He's not pitching for the raise anymore. For the Orioles now. If that happened to you, how do you go back on the mound? Just mentally. Yeah. Exactly pitching is so much in the in the brain. Anyway, I mean, if you pitcher cannot think of that when he's pitching pitching is like golf to me God playing golf and pitching have to be cut from the same mental toughness cloth. And watching John gray struggle this year, knowing what John gray did last year for the Rockies, you know, that it's all in his head. He's got the physical ability. He he can absolutely go out there and hurl it, but watching him in some of these games has been painful because you know, that they problems that John raise had this year all upstairs, and those are things that you as an athlete have to be able to sort out same thing with Tiger Woods. Tiger woods. Just won his first title this past weekend, five years, Tiger Woods was on touchable until his life fell apart. And then all of a sudden he went from being this untouchable golden child to being human, and he he didn't recover very well. And by the way, this this kid at Tampa Bay. Pitcher last night. They took him out of the game. Immediately. Yeah. He was sitting in the dugout comatose shop rattled bigtime rattle. His next start is going to be interesting. So you gotta check the video out knowing that no one got hurt. They showed in slow motion. Actually. And you see it. It was just reflects glove just guessing front of his face and time. So that's on the blog also submitted by Instagram. What is honestly my favorite bad liberating video ever? And that says something because the political ones the debate ones, they did before we're awesome. This is Hillary stories a bad lip reading, and it is she'll tell you about the four Kiner pants. And once you once you get a spoon pocket. You know, you really made it seriously you once you get a spoon pocket it's over. I mean, it's just can you imagine getting that will come out at tomorrow's hearing. I'm waiting to see the Trump UN speech, bad liberating. So that should be a good one. And then just for fun today. If you somehow or not on social media, and you have not seen the Scottish grandmother tried to read a book to a baby called the wonky donkey have you seen this yet? Oh, it's worth the three minutes of your life that you're going to give it it's it's you can't help. But laugh with this woman. You just you cannot she thinks this book is hilarious, and it kind of is. But she's even funnier reading it. So those are the three videos on the block out the good news story. The good news was going to get spout later sh-. We're going to go through the garbage show that's going to be the next two hours and Forty-five minutes. And then I was going to drop the good news story at the end kind of like the kicker to bring everybody back up after we go through the nonsense. We're going to go through. One more thing. I want to bring attention to on the blog. If you're Douglas county resident there is a ballot initiative on the ballot this year five eighty five. They want to do a mill Levy override and create a bond issue for capital improvements to schools. I've got a lot of people emailing me about how I was going to vote on this. And Aaron Kane is someone that I have just a huge amount of respect for. She was the interim superintendent she was not given a fair opportunity to be the permanent superintendent because this board hates her because she has a background in charter schools. Erin has come out and spoken very eloquently on these ballot initiatives, and I put her statement on the blog today still marking to tell you I am voting because I've got a couple more things to look into. But I do think I give her opinion a lot of merit. I really do because she was just the interim superintendent she spent a lot of time trying to save money everywhere that could be saved. So she could put it back into classrooms and things of that nature. And she is in favour of five AM five be. So you can. Read her thoughts. And opinions I just wanted to put that on the blog. I'm not going to spend a lot of time talking about it. But it is on the blog today. Couple more things that I want to just make note of before we jump into the latest Kavanag nonsense. We are. I posted an article today the so distressing that it actually inspired me to do something in my blog that I don't normally do which is I posted this news story. The suicide rate for veterans between the ages of eighteen and thirty four is currently at forty five per hundred thousand. That's a huge huge per ten thousand excuse me. It's a huge number and yet it's forty five towards hundred per one hundred thousand it's gone up by five in the last three years say it went from forty to forty five per one hundred thousand and this story is so distressing because the VA though, I believe that there are a lot of very well intentioned people in the VA system who are trying to address this problem. They are failing. Absolutely and abjectly failing. And as part of my blog posting today. I said, look, you know, read this consider voting to veterans donating veterans passport to hope here locally because they are helping other organizations throughout Colorado who specifically are tackling this issue and many of them are having tremendous success, helping especially young soldiers reintegrate back into their families and their lives. And the story is just it's terrible. What's happening to our young veterans? And we're just we're failing them all the way around. I also have a couple more things that I want to bring your attention to one is super nerdy and super geeky. But I and many other of my ilk have been talking about this. I've had my own show since two thousand six and I've been talking about it incessantly since then. And now we are right around the corner. What am I talking about within ten years? We will spend almost two trillion dollars in interest payments every year on the debt that the federal government is racking up roll your head around that for second a trillion. It's only nine hundred thousand more than nine hundred billion actually interest payments. We'll be do annually. Just in case you were wondering. That is going to be more than we spend on Medicare excuse me, Medicaid defense or children's program. On debt service, and that money has to be paid less. We go into fault. But this is why people like me talk about the deficit and overspending and all of those things that Republicans ran on in the last couple of elections that they seem to have forgotten all about which by the way, don't worry. Now. The Democrats are going to be the deficit hawks until they get into office and continued to spend like drunk monkeys. And until we start punishing politicians who promised us a gravy train without ever telling us how they're going to pay for it. This is what we get. And why would you care that interest payments are going to be nine hundred billion dollars? Will we will run out of money? We'll run out of money to pay social security will run out of money to pay Medicare will run out of money for Medicaid. We'll run out of money for national defense because we have to pay the debt service on our bills. And that is a big deal. And by the way, that's how this is how empires fall they don't usually fall because they were conquered from outside they fall because they were so completely weakened by their. Generous, welfare states. They're overspending. They're stealing money from the public treasury all those things that we've been doing for years. And then in their weakened state, then they are conquered. But it's not necessarily the invasion that brought them down. It was their own choices the same choices. We're making today. So that's on the block today. If you feel like having a little Ray of sunshine on this. If anybody else watched Trump's speech yesterday at the UN, there was one moment where he was touting how awesome his policies are. I wish he would just stop doing that. I wish would just stop. Okay. Just stop talking about yourself. And there was a chuckle in the UN. I went back to watch that snippet. But luckily for me, I found the whole speech instead of just the snippet you guys need to go watch that speech as a matter of fact, I'll I'll put it on the blog. I can't believe I didn't put it on the blog today. But it was everything I personally have been dying for a president of the United States to say to the UN for a solid twenty five. You guys. It was an inspirational speech, in my opinion for people who believe in United States sovereignty for people who are not interested in the UN being the world government for people who believe that every nation should have the right to set its own rules. It was a magical speech and investor's business. Daily has a great editorial about it. But you should go back and watch it because it's really good. And that's why the news media is just covering the part with the laughter. And actually Trump handled the laughter. Really? Well. He kind of laughed it off while I wasn't expecting that. So it was it was a great speech phenomenal speech, and I loved it. And I thought it was great. And I wish more people would pay attention to it. Now, I've got a story that I wanted to do yesterday that I absolutely love that we're going to do until two o'clock. And then the Brett Kavanagh stuff starts because there's now a new accuser who I'm going to say right here. And right now, I think is full of horsecrap, and I had to clean up what I wanted to lead with. But, but if I'd said what I wanted to lead within the FCC would have fired me, and I would have gotten fired horse crap is what I think of this new allegation, we're going to get to that at two o'clock. I we're gonna talk about something, you know, everybody likes to pick on millennials and we pick on them a fair amount. But only when they really really deserve it. But I also give them credit when they do something. Right. And I've said time and time and time again that I personally believe that the millennial generation will be transformative generation. I just don't know what that means..

"I thought the match was good ending shenanigans obviously. And I don't need like the MS Alvis team on Brian, but I thought it was gonna match lasted and I would love to see guys program going forward at some. We're not gonna get it. But yes, it was. Whereas at level sooner or later, maybe not here, but I think you'll be top. He'll like on the smackdown brand of the actually get the del Rio push. Which was the, the guy was super over. So that is really quick rundown of all end. 'cause I rather recap all in. Then I guess preview it 'cause preview it does what? It's it's a, it's a one off show. So it's not like we're talking about feuds and rivalries and this one off show. So just going down real quick, some of the matches just so people know him in not look forward to Cody Rhodes who is the mastermind behind this amazing businessman, so it doesn't do it for me in the rain. But you know what? Cody you're doing your thing outside of it. He's taking our neck out this who for some reason disappeared and just popped up again. Out of nowhere. He's NWEA world heavyweight champion at even know this Cody wins, it says event or maybe not coating, probably just put them over because fuck it. Why not? The I say, Nick, I'll probably goes there. Going are wage. I don't know what he's supposed to go to annex t like three years ago and just never had who knows like this car, like you're right, like looking at this car because I'm with at several times, there's really no reason to make predictions. We can talk about the we can recap how good about it was. That's all it That's is. all it is. Second back, we have O'Connor, smarty skirl. We'll see how the south match Joey Danila vers hangman page Chicago fight levels fund until his. If anybody goes like personalities like he has no limit soldier type. Here's the pendant pixel art work for his new t shirt. I gotta check that out. So hanging pages be really good to lately I liked his works so streetfight. Rave cereal Phoenix and Bandido versus the golden elite, Matt Jackson, Nick, Jackson corner, bushy knowing that's not fun, right. Raipur stereo kind of be the I man out, but Phoenix is another team in Phoenix fucking crazy. So we're gonna get great spots. Christopher Daniels, Stephen mill. All right, green, it's coming. Sure why not. Being a pallet cleanser of match the Briscoes versus so Cowan censored kazarian Scorpio sky because we just mentioned Christopher Daniels in the last match, probably be okay. That's the standard are wage bash. Over budget, battle Royal no one contender for wage world championship. Okay. Women's match medicine, rain versus Brit Baker, which Chelsea green versus tests of Blanchard. It can't be bad. Madison rain Intesa both dope Madison rain was just in the Mayon classic. So I believe so. I think she's on a. They bracket Tyler g last night and have to go back and watch appreciate initial storm. So she's kind of pulling double duty. She's just like the ultimate free agent. So that's pretty cool. We'll see how that goes. And then I believe it's the main event after that. No, we have a Jay lethal versus the battle Royal winners. They gotta do double duty for open. I hope it's Brian cage. I really do Brian cage just looks like an animal right? Like there is no wellness program. I understand in the majority of pro wrestling for this guy, just ridiculous. Like between Brian cage and loose. Those are the two guys like you see it on. Fortunately, I figured might be punishment Martinez, but, oh, no, that's every are wage TV taping. I know, I know. But. I mean, again, I hope hope is Brian cage. It's been great and impact wrestling. It's Cobb Cobb. in there. No shit. Yeah, that would be great match. And then maye, Kenya, makeovers, Pentagon junior, can't be a bad match. No five star. Kenny strikes again could be gone is fantastic. Wrestler too. So could be yes, so that's, that's crazy. Never know. Can't wait to see how their styles mash. It's always cool to get these like corn, quote, dream matches tune, gosh from different promotions. So that's the card. Like you said, it's a bunch of random put together matches. There's no history, no real recap preview next week. We'll recap it and give out match grades and see Andre right everything. Super tough as world's toughest greater. Thank you guys.
