"That is a huge deal with the Democratic Party and south, Carolina. So anytime candidate takes the time to attend those events. Let's everyone know that you're really interested in South Carolina Interested in South Carolina voters and you're GONNA do whatever it takes to get South Carolina voters as well. Now let's talk about the barbecue aspect. So when you come this way you have to eat department Q. The low country I think they're more vinegar base. I think the upstate where I'm from is more mustard yellow base. Then I think in the middle is more like ketchup and vinegar base, but you have to come and try all of it and then a lot of people go to Rodney Scott Barbecue. So there's one in Hemingway South Carolina, and then there's one in Charleston so. Tom's dyer what he did for the arts kind of Cook off was he brought the entire Rodney Scott restaurant from Charleston to the kickoff. So he's out there serving whole mills of Barbecue. So those are just two well known staples in two well-known Barbecue joints that people know national because Rodney Scott. Says actually rank nationally with their barbecue. So you have to come to South Carolina and try those to barbecue places. I feel like if a candidate is thinking about trying to set up like the perfect photo opportunity barbecues like a worse case scenario you thanks well, if you see. You. Need to take the picture before they start eating at least what the four going into the mouth. Breath thank you so much for joining us. It's been a really really great conversation. Thank you. Five seconds ago it's like Deja Vu or grant hugs. GROUNDHOG's Day all over again. I'm confused used right now but you know what I'm bracing today. I'm an embrace Tuesday and just in bring it in like my long lost red headed step cousin and just say hey. What's Tuesday? What is good? Hopefully you guys are having a terrific and titillating Tuesday. I pulled out the the source of water. Lord of the day titillating. Yes and it's not the bad word y'all not talking about some other body parts or nothing memories Eh. Okay Anyway Carter anyways. So hopefully. They're having a fantastic and titillating Tuesday. You know what I'm saying. The Sun is not really out today. I mean it's out because we would not have liked today daytime but at the same time you know it is eight here. You don't saying so. Hopefully you guys have a fantastic titillating Tuesday. I got a great group of people around me notice that I said great people around me today and not just me. Yeah it was just you. And I'm like yeah. Atas got him in the booth over here this guy through the window pane through the windowpane. Just that's that's the window. Anyway we got Lucas in the booth. Look good where do I start. I guess it's a normal the Tuesday affair. Apparently it's Tuesday already just like two days ago Other than that just any other week. I guess I got nothing same old life but but it's good to have another personality. Finally on the show feels like it's been a while weekend long long weekend long show. Yesterday yesterday went pretty smooth. Actually considering the circumstances. But I'm GONNA be real. Can I say something real for shoutout to Ed. Herman my board and my boy Dan buff off Coming through and actually coming through in the clutch yes you know what I'm saying because I didn't have nobody on the show yesterday and I was all Alabama and it was terrible. I wanted to die SORDO. No it felt weird not having like at least at least you Lydia. It was like at least you in the room but you weren't there either. It was kind of like I. Literally was. You Know Coal Co. world yesterday it was just hassles for real for real for real. And everyone's like I don't want to listen to this guy. Skip around on him saying so it really did break my heart a little bit. But it's okay I'm all right. You know what I'm saying. So they came through. They sat down and we basically just went through and did like a breakdown of the entire Oscars which was really great. I really appreciated them. Come at first up. They were coming in as guest anyway but the fact that they were like you know we'll sit around. Look around. Yeah I mean there's plenty of things to talk about. You know we talked about everything from the Oscars to I. I got to see birds of prey this weekend as well so I did a little bit of a review review on on my own review on that so you know it was good. It was a it was a good day and it was nice to be around film Buffs House about the same. I know you were in movie. Heaven yes I was yes. That's the thing I love talking about movies. You know what I'm saying this. They're fun but these guys knew their issue. I really was like all right. What I'm trying to figure this whole thing? Because they feel like well actually this guy wrote the thing and he produced this other thing the other thing and the other thing and the other thing. I'm like Damn Ed and is the last night Ed. Yeah Oh yeah and then we played we actually underplaying a a a a name that tune game and what else is new. He destroyed destroyed me. Really it was it was musical. It was all for musicals so he just wiped the ground with my as a wealth of knowledge. Yeah he knows Oh says musicals. I know my musicals to write. But he knew the newer stuff right. You know what I'm saying. I mean I've been out of touch for a little bit. I've been out of touch of the stuff so I had to actually and I ended up singing musical. Let Song a one song. Glory from Rent Night Yeah. That was entertaining. I was terrified of the lease. It was terrible but we did it but he got through it. You know what I'm saying. We threw it but anyway. Hopefully you guys have a the great one out there. I WanNa see what's good with you Lydia. Because you weren't here yesterday was what the heck was going on and duties you know. Look as a mom sometimes duty calls and you gotta just do the mom thing but but but yesterday turned out to be a really good day. The evening we had our centerstage twelve auditions and that was good. That was yesterday. Yeah the yesterday night we had some really great cover actual torture's not yesterday night now would would want this plane auditions at nine o'clock in the morning on a on a Monday singing audition on a Monday. Nobody's coming exactly. You'll be by by by lonesome literally. You know what I'm saying. He had a good turn out yesterday. Like Oh like twenty twenty twenty two people and we got some good talent Pascal. It would be excited. I'm excited good. Really good thing. When does that happen on March? The fifth okay. So so it's a little bit. Yeah I'll let you know if you want to come back and be court the fact that I'm down you will like this one because I'm telling you I was like wow these things come from Catherine some movement. Yeah there's GonNa be a crazy idea so just just roll with me okay. I'm rolling I'm rolling but okay. So here's the idea you're GonNa hate me me when I say this is what if you were to let the judges say something about each performance. Afterwards they're honest candidates of course Opinions a we've thought what about that we've got about because that's very like idol style. You know for me right. You know what I'm saying. We've thought about that. And I'm I'm not totally mad at it. I'm really not I. Just the only the only the only thing that's has stopped us is that we were worried that it would make the night go longer because sometime invest true so they will get on the MIC and talking. And don't stop but if it's like you only get fifteen to thirty seconds we can save the race each person right. So it's like you get fifteen seconds to say what you gotta say. Go great you can work on this day the other but I really like your rhyme right next to you know what I mean. Yeah if Gordon and that would just add like a minute to each which would be perfectly fine because it makes it a little bit more Let's see more interactive a little bit more people with this going. Oh Damn Okay and do disagree with hardly get feedback instead of just wondering wondering why not me for short work okay. This is not something about i. Don't I'm not mad at you for it. 'cause we have thought about it but I was just thinking it's GonNa be too much to hand to wrangle the this. That's true word overseas with. We'll see I mean. Are you trying to allude to me. How much you you say talking to Dan? Much total fended now. We talk about three hours. Pascal I know we know how to talk. Yeah we do we do yeah. We developed this muscle. We got that wind. Yeah we do the kind of Up in smelling. You say she got some win. You submit to break in the wins. When do Rilya GMS wasn't me? That was some other thing around the room that was oh good job. It was an elephant that ran on the tail. Saying but anyway bad I am. I'm glad you're back though. Is it okay to ask this okay..

I had to cook it but I just went on and punch through legs so like how. How does this happen? Condo uh-huh Stone and then they bring you. I feel like they kind of Cook. The meat a little bit because I just can't see stone cooking the Hell Knight Steak that quick. Oh nor does they super those things. I know a guy who's bar manager Owen Many the Davis sewing former t they super heat those suckers. And that's the thing especially when you're talking about dealing with the strips as opposed to like an entire interstate cut near. We want to cook that at all. And so that like he said yeah it is strip so like they already cut. Just take up so it's easier to cook on her. You know on the rat was Savita like I never trusted that. That's the whole. One time I don't even really tastes like what is your is one of those things where they can they can be. That can be way too hot for you. Essentially Japanese horseradish radish tastes good. It's yeah it's what you're into it's sort of your palate happen you don't have a taste to me but it's just so hot you just trying to hurry up against some melt on my take away from all of that but you know like you said the nea-ri in with this whatever. I Dunno advocate Ethic Spicy Tuna. Spicy Salmon is a good. I Love Sando about anything. I can do. Some smoked salmon. That's the only fish I could eat like half way and I couldn't. I don't know I'm not a huge fan of lake. Don't get me Riley. I'm not a huge fan of like octopus or any of that weird stuff. Well have you ever seen the dancing squid where it's like still alive. It's dead but it's like scorned but then have I four sauce on it and soy sauce is an electrolytic solution and so it triggers the nerve endings and makes the damn thing dance thought it twitter social media. I couldn't even try a wiggling everywhere that come here little thing. I'd like even those like those cooked octopus. I'm okay with that. That's Talamante Dad's a texture thing with me a little bit. I don't know if I don't like that. He it tastes like regular shrimp ledges. Raw shrimp cocktail of raw raw. Coal Co. Yeah they taste to gummy. I like them you like. I like the cocktail sauce. I feel like shrimp. Cocktail has not been a thing for a long. I'd not like how it you. Yes it used to be. That made me all into a did. Maybe I just had from the wrong. Yeah 'cause I used to. I used to like it and I've tasted it once and it just turns obviously does That I went to where they were doing it. Was it basically like the the the bloody Mary. Shrimp Cocktail Have you ever been to videos. Okay so they have two locations if you ever. I don't WanNa see the most ridiculous bloody Marys you've ever had your life go to give us So the the ultimate bloody Mary is in this giant Goblet And there are literally like doc chicken wings all stocks of celery elegance basically lunch. It's Brunch ain't ain't goblet but they did like a bloody Mary Shrimp cocktail and it was like a bunch of shrimp around and it was so good. That sounds good Bloody Mary shrimp cocktail. There's some bloody Marys really lie. Bloody Marys either but I think that would be good because you dip into shrimp in a bloody. Mary Bloody Mary Sell Spicy. Depends on who you depends on where they make it taste like my friend. She must gotTa Wear Palley 'cause she like like all of this so she liked bloody Marys dirty Martini. What's dirty Martini? A lot of allergies. And it's just so bitter there you just like Martinez Typically Gin vermouth than vodka. MARTINIS VODKA and vermouth and a dirty. Martini is Just when you because you know they always come with Alexander put olive juice in it And then there are some people who like Martinez because they want just a flavor profile thing. Oh Wow okay I was like modern must not be on that level because I'm more of a sweet girl in that bitter. Oh yeah also. People like bitter and salty things that it's just easier for me to like drink them. I guess like if it's just go ahead sweet no if it's it's easier for meaner drink. Yeah Ah I WANNA I wanna enjoy four something now. I'd never never fan like when it comes to beer. Beer guy to begin again with the whole thing. But in this and I say this having owned a brewery and beer guy as like that just that yeah yeah yeah or even. The doubts sounds do that. She stops I have to be in a mood for you. Because they're just so damn thick and Our Buddy that owns Brooks Brewing They do a peanut butter. Stout the one that's right by its off of of A. Why can I think what we're in for Yup so br Jerry He has his first location. It's up in sterling sites. Okay And he just opened up the one in Ferndale last year And do his peanut butter. Stout it's it's so good I mean it's it's like Reese's peanut butter company your mouth. It's like a peanut butter and Jelly before it was good apple pie like Guinness. Which is the stereotypical style? Rated like just not not my thing Guinness out but I like the bloody Mary. This is like I'm in charge of the bloody murder. I talked into going to one lions game every year. uh-huh and I'm in charge of I am bloody Mary Guy so I bring all the mixes I bring all this stuff. It's like everybody always asking me to make them. Oh okay. That's the whole dude. I could care less about the game. Like seven in the morning and I just start getting everybody drunk. We come out. This has been a tradition for about thirteen fourteen. And for the first this was the first action also last year was the first year where I was. Not The drunk guy in a red wings assures he passed out of his seat. Because I don't care about Seattle. It's not my thing either. Nyah lated and go and mock until he didn't care anymore and then and then I wake up and I'd be good like dude and the people they would take pictures like dude. You were Red Wings Jersey because I would wear Red Wings New Jersey the Lions and the editor take a picture but now ends like. I'd say this is. This is the only time like I'm a fan of Guinness Guinness in a bloody Mary. Good thing yeah. That's a good flavor enhancer But like I do like Guinness and a one and Worcestershire sauce. Like all kinds of crazy on you can do. You can make a mild. You can make them hot. aww Like that's the thing like a bloody. Mary should be neutral. It's almost like a vodka soda. It should be neutral drink that almost anybody can drink doc and then you can do whatever you want to. Yeah yeah that's that would make sense but you know you gotta like that. Tomato isn't tomato juice. Yep thank you you gotta like. I like tomato soup so ultimate conflict tomato soup grilled cheese sandwich. Now just about to say or like chicken a bid senator. Some that is good as Mac and cheese. ooh That's comfort food grilled cheese with Meghji. Absolutely get it from all the time. Nice ages with asking. It hasn't lactose intolerant. Oh my God is line you. What's the place that's next two times oyster bar areas? I think it's I think it's L.. Mary's the did They they did a burger that instead of bun used to MAC and cheese. Our we actually went there with the podcast once and like brought video cameras. And like Bob and I torrent of them Phenomenal for like the first two bites. And then and then like crumbles he. Well well just I mean it's it's Mac and cheese and Patty and then you bite it. And you're breaking the cohesion and the Communism look really good on paper not the casserole exactly hamburger helper your cut it up at this point. Can I get a bowl for this right you can. I hit a ball is mixed. Yeah to Mac and and this is on the cheese though. I'm so hungry right now. I I have not eaten anything this whole day. Can we please go downstairs and eat after this. "You know? So that worked out. Okay. I guess it was a little bit different. But it was it worked out. So we'll see how it goes part of me thinks like maybe we'll look at this like what actually ships won't be reflective of like some of these stories that it was just like complaints. And they worked it out in the end. But but we'll we'll definitely no. From the preview, probably like what the content looks like actually ships. We can judge it to like this. Did they miss out on opportunities to have better content because they went on this path of like twelve of the same shows repeated? Or is it kind of what what they described early on. And actually, it's kind of a mix of content. And I mean, that's a good point. Like, it could just they could be happy with a quota of. I don't focus shows and family friendly shows and potentially the people the gang. They need to tone it down a bit could be in the coach ones, I decided to be targetted everyone like maybe it could be that. They've sent off twenty shows whatever and fifteen of them, suddenly. I don't really and they feature propriety and everything else. And that's probably isn't the balance. They won't right. So it could just be they have a coacher of how many roughly shows they wanna tug it. I don't markets and carnival too, many seven to tell to kind of change upload it. Bad in the sense that they've got to this point and then make changes, but that's different to you. But that's different to like, censoring the adult stuff. Oh, stop. And there have been like earlier reports of like one or two instances like producer changes director changes like who's involved of the project because of apple but not very many, and for the most part seems like apple buys the project, and like what they should know what they're in for when they pay for it. And that there shouldn't be so much like store should be so many stories of like now that we own it. And you're making it for us. We don't like it and change it. Because at a certain point you to say, well, I'm not gonna make it anymore. And it does seem a little bit unfair repeats of these stories without seeing anything on apple side of what will what are they actually doing? What are they making? But luckily, this time we're closer to illicit preview of not the launch. So one of the funny lines is the apple does not allow for the shows to depict negative consequences of technology. Yeah. I maybe like black mirror the whole idea there is that it makes you a little bit creeped out about technology in general, it's horror around technology and in many ways. I wonder if that's part of it. Or if they wouldn't have a negative plot about like self driving cars 'cause they're like protective of that idea. Right now. It's a funny thing. But you know, I wish there more specifics of what actually was going on. That kind of thing. I don't like mind as much like I fully expect the owner of the shows only feature like people using phones. I just think this was going to happen is like the most that already happens on TV. At least under the apple on Braila. It'd be really weird. If you have like coal cO calls members walking around we're like Samson buttons. It would just be strange, and this is just kind of vein like they don't wanna produce Clinton essentially tells you the the iphone you using washes. So that kind of stuff I can agree with more. Like, it makes sense to me that they don't want not like the the separation of family friendly, and adult stuff is the stuff that I can't justify because you can have parental controls, and you can have Tokyo's, and you can have those limitations that make those distinctions the other one I wanna highlight from this pace. It says. People are tight because the heat moving the savage back leading to delays. It says the video.

"They were promoting Anthony yards fight all night on the Duke and UNC. In America big. That was a big game mama was there like that was a huge game zone over here. Another former was Sabi saws. Not by who who I see. I wasn't saying he was more piper been yard. But I'm saying to fading. Nobody knows them because yard if if. Breath name three Americans took pictures with him. I get you. Point. It's simple to access take a picture. I made it simple. No, I did not economy muted himself. He always do that. To go. No, they saying nets muted con. Let's meet me guys guards. Manning think I'm censor. You. Listen, you could call your to hide job all you want and the chat, I get it. All I'm saying is and that's hype. As don't you get it? His hype has reached Americans in an to Joshua blob ABC's does that it ain't on where he should have been at the presser. They should have been announcing the death AJ's fighter, and he's gonna be on the card, and he's also making his u s debut, and they might do that on a on a separate press release without the same amount of press. So I'm saying yard is push and doesn't your headline. So like when when yard gets these fights get over to ESPN, plus stuff you see yards. Name more, you know, on a regular basis your headline. He does have. He's had more headline shows to when she was I over, man. They only go wish to be linked to Sergei Cobra last green more on our apps here. I'm just speaking from here. I see your way. My point is I think a lot of people in the child trying to explain to you news is that although yard has crossed over for you the American guys to find out about him in the U K yard is nowhere near as big as I can tell you. Hey. That's what that's no, no, no. It's. I mean, the money's. No, you're right. The money as you gotta deal with. Jogging. Any motion on. That's why this show is about big baby claiming to make more money than Dillion white acts for because in the US. He can get that. That's why. So there is more money in the US where guy who even spent some Feron fields doesn't deserve the shot. Got the shot over his guy come on, bro. This guy hasn't done multiple paper views in the UK, but he's getting more money because there's more money to give out here. Emotional. I do think yard is bigger here in the US. And I think what's bigger in the UK based on them being co promotions. I mean, coal cO main dealing white cards and and being all the backing, and he gets pushed with all the other different types of UK fighters. I think he's bigger in the UK, and I think yards getting into good push over here w he's sees benefit from being closely linked to aid JJ tons up his fights. He gets put in the two. He gets more of a more exposure in the UK than yard mainly because yard has to fight on BT sport's, which isn't as big as sky. So that's the only reason why people don't know as broad, but the BT sports FIS gives showed on ESPN wake up and smell the coffee nets..

"Maybe one kellyn Acosta comes in midway through the season has a good year for you. And the other one you brought up that San Jose Minnesota week I called Basset stepping in a young age and playing an important role. Exciting all of us watching all these games. What do you see for those two twenty nineteen? How important will be what can Cal in due to take a step forward? I young Kellen. Love killin is a love music. Character is personality. I'm sure you've will, you know, I'm really well. He's just a coming in and he's just away a small and his face positive energy. And I think what I love about him is player. He just wants to go forward. He wants to dry full what he wants to make things happen. And. Look he's player. I think he can be even better. A really do. I think I wanna wait wanna help him become the top even play. We know he can become and so we want to say up in a way where we can get him in positions where he's driving defenders where he's running forward with the bull. So doing the things in the right area in the build up. And then when we're talking he's that's where he's is best. So so he's an important part of how we wanna play. Coal cO came in trying with us like early in the season. And so so when when I say this, you know, lots of changing our club in SAM's have been aligned with all youth academy. I mean now it was so much further ahead in terms of in terms of these areas. But this is exciting for me because we have our kademi director in the youth coach in on meetings now and that playing the same way and with doing with being a lot more. What's the word in grind cohesive? In terms of in terms of bringing those academy kids in every weight with us is nothing. No, you know that the best clubs in the league. Do it bomb excited by it? Because I think we go some good young players. But so law season we had cold Bassett. He was one of four or five plays regularly coming in trying with us. Now. Those guys. Wouldn't in mating audio means? But what blew me away was the principles that we were wanting to put into practice that we talked about an video session with the same. When we went out. And so the training pitch and those four players mess up there. Like, he just pick things up without event in the meetings, and even some of our pleasure in the me didn't even pick you up, and he wasn't in that. So he just blew me away older little principles. He he's just picking things up so quickly. He so hungry to learn like, he's obsessively wants more responsibility. What can I do tell me what to do a love his personality? And and he's and he's a good foot, blah. We need to develop physically we need to we need to help improve his game. We need to almost turn him into a man we need to. I'm be really pursue. You know, careful about how we give him games. But he's he's a he's a play that we believe in in in the Dallas game at the end of the season. We played him. Because we you know, we were struggling for players. We played him as a ten in the first off and is a six and it wasn't working in the first off. And he kept dropping deepest. When we go out. We didn't have anyone to. So we swapped in the second off and kill him went Hyon and Colwyn in the six and free young kid. Some of the situations. I don't know if you watch that game. But some of the situations he was in in all build up on the edge of all books when we're passing around than Tim. Ow. It's the bow. And some of the situations on the pressure was unbelievable. The composure showed to get on the the bravery and the composure together on the ball and posses wet pressure. I love that. So he's he's an important place. We go keep developing him, and where we can keep giving him as much experience as possible. Well, it was an experience learning.

But I always, you know, I always had an entrepreneurial mind where I wanted to work for myself. Tell me about the Cup of noodles scam. You were running. I want to hear the details. What were you doing? There were you buying something Chason cheap and selling it, very expensively. Yeah. I mean, the there was definitely a lot of markup on I used to go to a boarding school in all boys boarding school where you know, we didn't have access to a lot of things. So every time I would come back from break. I would have you know, a few boxes of of Cup noodles. I would sell to some of my friends. What was the markup? What was the telling about what how much how much were you earning? They're ripping off your friend's through this Cup of noodles scam. You run up. I think I was you know, charging a couple of bucks per noodle. I don't remember exactly what the profit margins were. But back then to me it was a ton of money. And I have my, you know, my mom paid for all the companies to. So for me. It was it was all. Yeah. It was all my Cup. Oh, and she was wondering why you're not gaining weight. Right. "If you ever seen who dreams, let's that's what the movies based off of Isaiah Thomas went there. And you know, Arthur AG William dates and cosplaying tour's all time when this coach and national high school basketball history. So I remember when I told him fourteen my mom's, basically, my you're going to say Joe. So every day I wake up. Eight five thirty hour. I take the bus to school. So I have to take two buses, so I will have to take the bus from you know, I lived on cirmac Polaski my school was on cirmac and wolf so, you know, usually if we drove twenty five minute bus ride, but you know, days like an hour and a half. So I would take the bus from so ask Polaski to Cicero and cirmac which is in a Mexican neighborhood waiting to cross over from the TA bus the pay spas, and I will take the pace bus like thirty five minutes all the way to Westchester. Yeah. So I would do that rain, sleet, or snow, and if you know Chicago to coal co, but the city does a great job at cleanest streets when it's like snowstorms, there's never any days off. So I remember always having to do that, you know, wake up some nice I want to get home till I ten at night. You know what I'm saying? So I will have practice and stuff, and we only had Saint Joe's is such a small a small school. So, you know, every every both girls. Invoicing us Jim sorry. Pats be from seven to nine at night. So I remember having to go, and sometimes sometimes I want to your home until ten thirty eleven at night, and you know, repeat but turnaround when I got there, you know, my first two years of school is all boys school the girls. School was immaculate heart of Mary. So not all boys school atmosphere was weird at first, but it was dope. Because you know. I thought a focus more dog focus on education on top of coast tour, like the standard of you know, even was able to get away with things in school. You kind of helped me through a higher standard where you know. He taught me early on it, you know, being idiot or being jerked is never going to pay off. And he also taught me how to work. You know, make it to the NBA. And you know, also, you know, do things I get back. Then originally when I went there I play the freshman team. I walked in high school of five teams I was going through like a. A rear uncoordinated stage in my life. I grew for inches a year. I play well enough to move up for the varsity playoffs and on play one game playoffs and as a blow out as they will put up twenty points in the fourth quarter teams never played again. "So so is that really was that the spot to get business because I always just find it? So fascinating year in college. It's nineteen eighty-seven. You don't have the internet. You know, you've got the people that you communicate with are just the people that you communicate with if that makes sense. So you've got this idea to start this newsletter. You got a passion for wrestling. You like reporting you wanna be able to communicate about this stuff with other people. To go. Now, a days to go from idea to execution on just about anything, you know, the internet's made it so simple. It's really amazing. It's revolutionized the idea of content creation. But then when you decide you want to do a newsletter number one. How do you come? How do you find sources or at the time? Was it not news based wasn't more results based and number two. How do you spread the word to people in any sort of significant number that you've got this newsletter out there? Yeah. Great questions. It was definitely news based it was one of my early niches was introduced and so there were not wrestlers in its for newer fans today. It's a it's unfathomable to not imagine being able to listen to wrestlers talk about the business right conversation away. That was that was taboo, I mean. You know, the the coal co cafe or protecting the inner workings and the way the business operated was still a big thing in the late eighties. And so it was it was a bit of a pioneering approach to take to try to get wrestlers to speak on the record. So besides the news aspect of it. Which was yeah. It was results. But it was also going to local indie shows going to AWS shows trying to establish contacts and getting information and wrestlers wanted information to be spread. They they're not everybody. But there are wrestlers especially younger generation who are like they want the truth to be out there about what was going on behind the scenes, especially if they felt that unfair things were happening in terms of pay in terms of schedule in terms of politics. So it was their way to kind of get word out about the old guard and the new guard wanting to have an influence, and so I mean, one of my first big interviews was for ganja who was very old. School. I don't think he had any idea what he was getting himself into based on at one point going who weren't you again with when I started asking questions about, you know, controversies regarding forgotten most practices shoot interview isn't even a thing back then. So they probably think you're just some kid doing an interview for like a college newspaper. Exact it's gonna promote the show and say, what's your favorite match was your toughest opponent. Right. And so early on I win against that. I it was controversial when Chris cruise who was a WW announcer. I remember under contract to w w did an interview with me and talked very frankly about the wrestling industry, the scene the politics of announce all that stuff. He got heat for that. And one was that CNN anchor. And it was just like, I'm I'm I respect what you're doing. And I I want to interview Eddie Gilbert, Paul Heyman. Jim cornet? Those were Mick Foley. Those are for the really big new generation names who did long form on record interviews with me in the the late eighties. And then. In the early nineties, mostly with most those names and hours and hours of interviews with hanging in an Eddie and cornet and Mick Foley, and their ideas, in the way, they looked at the business and the way they were willing to speak openly about it was a huge thing. So even when I would reach out to ask them to do an interview. 'cause then I'd just start Eckert. You know, can I have, hey, I want I would start asking from people I know for phone numbers, and I would cold call wrestlers. I mean, we're going to think of that. Now, it's through. Yeah. So I like it must be an emergency..
