"Number one is. Id and teaching strategies. There were a number of articles a large number of articles about instructional design in general and teaching strategies generally over the past two weeks. We're which we always mentioned. We're thrilled to see. We love to see that kind of thing so we saw strategies for designing effective training request forms. That's usually in business. Situations Flipped classrooms discussed multiple articles about flipped classrooms Lesson planning with universal design for learning formative assessment for remote teaching the roles of an instructional coach. All of these things were discussed are recommended. Read in this area is planning for fair group. Work by amir suli and susan m brookhart for asc. Once again i apologize. If i mispronouncing any of our authors names. This was a really good read Describing group work and how to organize a group work setting that everybody finds fair and equitable And i think pretty much all of us who are involved in designing any kind of instruction have had some moment where we've had to organize group work and gets get some kind of pushback from people saying you know. Why are we doing this so this is a really good article. I think in terms of just laying out the the wise and the winds in the house for group work number two our number two Trend is slightly different than normal. Normally we would say that one of our big trends over the past. Few years has been digital security and citizenship. This time around it was all digital security. We had a number a number of articles about just security issues. In general for example microsoft announced security enhancements for dynamics three sixty five viva and teams.

Why Jim Ryun Relied on God to Make His Running Dreams Happen

"But here's a pivotal story in here. Eric and i tell our campers that jim ryan running camp about this. You have to take ownership at some point so during the winter of nineteen sixty three at the will. It's being bad. The winter of nineteen sixty four going into the nineteen sixty four. I had grown weary of running on my own running on the ice and falling in the snow and the cold and everything and they went into see coach timmons nosed as a coach really. Couldn't work with you in the off season. They said coach. This is really hard. I sit you know morning on my own learning dark. I've fallen on the is running in the snow and he just listened to finally said. Jim have heavier goals change. My goal was to be the first high school boy toward an appointment. As i said coach. They really haven't. He said well the need to get back out there and keep going see. I went in with the idea that i wanted to pat on the back. And what happened is he sent me home. Kick kicking the rump. Saying if this is important for you the new. You're the only one that can make this happen. And at that point. I began relying more and more upon god because a new this is going to happen for a kid who didn't understand running and doing things never done before that would have to be happening with governed opened those doors and so the running developed again quickly and in june of nineteen sixty four. I became the first high school boy to run under four minutes and then in september of nineteen sixty four. I became the youngest runner. Middle-distance runner where you going to call it. Kevin Rabichow, RIO Elite Coach, on the Challenges of Full Time MTT

"What's so hard about the full-time. Ntt pro well. I mean a lot of things that are hard. So i guess the hard thing. The hardest thing in terms of preparation is like be complexity of the game. Means that i pretty much cannot be as accurate as i'm used to being in in cash format like in in cash for example when i study. I'm studying like serious details right like i'm. There's a lot of variables that are constant in the cash game environment which means that i can construct my ranges in a really accurate way i can. I can focus on bat sizes every single node with really high accuracy. And i can get into the detail jurisdiction of like how things work in in a line. That doesn't come up all that often tournaments. Like when i try like my natural like state for studying trying to grasp at those details but i'm just like getting pre flop ranges wrong and i'm like missing range see bets at twenty big buttons deep and it and it's just like there's so many well i don't know if it's frustrating is just like it's it's different like the way that i used to learn. The game doesn't doesn't work in tournament. Format and i need to spend way more time on like macro view thinking about okay like i need to learn all the most common spots to a fairly proficient level before i can like engaged. The the curiosity that i have about like the details of of little spots. There's just no edges there right. So i'm sort of like yeah. I'm sort of like coaching myself to be better at learning. This new game Because i know this like as a coach. I understand how people get bogged down in details but like that used to work for me in the other game format and it just doesn't work in tournaments at least not yet like maybe five years from now. That's what he's studying but it's it's not today.

How to Bet on the Houston Texans in Light of the Deshaun Watson Lawsuit

"What are we doing with the shawn watson. That's what i want to know whether it's used in or these other teams that might get them or the nfl saying well. There's nothing against them now. But there could be i mean how are the markets handling this right now. What are we doing about if anything. I think the only thing you can do. I would do this. If he's playing or not that the houston texans under. I think there are about four and a half. Even if it was at four i would bet the under i think this is a organization that is in deep deep chaos and disrepair. I think that he does not have any legitimate talent around him. I think they brought in a coach. You is almost by default getting the job And that's if he plays all sixteen games or seventeen games now If something happens over the next four to eight weeks and there is an investigation that reveals. There is some of punishment that's warranted. It's possible he misses two games. Four game six games. And then you're playing with with you know almost an empty backfield so to me. It's an underplay on the texans i. I know there's talk about him being traded. I just don't see that happening this year. That's not really an advantage. Any team has in terms of getting rid of assets for a quarterback who's legal jeopardy is still undefined. And you've got to really know what you're getting into. And what kind of value. You're getting in terms of the complete ability to have him on the field before you're going to give up the assets that you really need to give up even if he's a little bit tarnished right now to get a player who arguably is a top five quarterback in the nfl and in the prime of his

3 Steps to Landing Your Next Online Fitness Coaching Client

"Okay so three steps to landing. You're next on n. fitness coaching clients. Step-by-step with nothing held back. Oh yes right. These number one is to collect three of your best transformations and club three your best transformations and you wanna put these together side by side. Step number one. Write that down. Collect three of your best transformations now when you put them side by side what you guys want to do. Is you want to make sure that there before. And after so before it goes on the left after goes in the right. Because when we're reading a book we read a book left to right all right. So when you guys to collect three of your best transformations and put them up left to right so before and after left to right the reason you're gonna use three is what we're going to do with these transformations is we are actually going to use those and we are going to put them on our stories as well. So we're gonna write a post about one of them were also going to use these transformations and we're going to put them on our stories as well. Okay so step number one is collect three of your best transformations you're gonna put them side by side step number two is you're going to write a post about one of your best clients so take one of those transformations that you collected and what we're gonna do is we're going to write a post about one of those clients. That's what we're gonna do so you're going to write a post and it's gonna say and the post. This is very important for you. Guys that are renewed on my coaching. And you're to marketing. In general the key to a successful post is you guys need to make sure that the headline has specific results because if the headline doesn't have specific results that the client got ben. It's not going to be attractive to ideal clients are coming in and so you wanna make your headline specific results. An example of specific results a headline would be my client. Sarah lost thirty pounds and six inches in twelve weeks. You can even do my client. Sarah lost thirty pounds and twelve weeks but specific results aren't so you're gonna write a post about this client doing specific results now for you guys. That might not know writing. Or if you're in the tinky. Coaching academy you can literally go into the units and you can grab any one of the testimonial templates. So i've given you guys three testimonial templates social templates that you guys can use davinci academy going to the units. It's in unit one and you can literally download the testimonial opposed framework. And i want you to use that framework also gonna run through that. Really quickly and his podcast. I'm going to do a summary so the first thing you want to do. Write a headline with specific results. So sarah lost thirty pounds in twelve weeks. Then you wanna talk about the pain that she was in with the excess weight. So you know. Sarah was really struggling to find extra energy to play player their kids when she got off work. She was always tired. He was burning out and choose thirty pounds for went when she first reach out to me. You wanna talk with the paint and you wanna talk about the struggles that she had because of the way because excess weight. She found it hard to like. Won't social gatherings. She was finding it hard to climb up the stairs. She's finding it hard to do day to day activities and she wasn't happy with with where she was at so specific results than you wanna talk about the pain. Then you wanna talk about the struggle. Then you want to talk about what you did to solve that problem

Q&A: Can You Get Paid for Views on a Popular Social Post?

"A few years ago. I wrote on a post on facebook that ended up going viral. I didn't have a business account but all of the sudden. I had tens of thousands of people viewing sharing and commenting on the post. It took weeks for the attention to die down. I've thought about this experience ever since. Was there some way to monetize all this attention that i just didn't see at the time. There's some social networks pay people based on the number of views their poster sleeve. Unfortunately i haven't been able to replicate those results since then but i wonder if there's a key or less than i can apply some other way. Thanks chris but as i said this reminds me of a story i knew a guy who had a very similar experience to justin. He wrote a post on a personal account. Wasn't intended to be anything business at all and that post ended up blowing up to the point where he received massive attention in a short period of time so all of a sudden he was receiving not just thousands of comments on the post but thousands of messages from people who were looking for help and he was. He was writing about something personal and it really struck a cord. I think that had something to do with it. And this guy reached out to me and some other people asking for advice because he was overwhelmed like a lot of the people writing to him wanting to hire him for coaching. A lot of people just had questions. They wanted answers. There were offers from talent agents all sorts of interesting as well as some questionable opportunities coming his way and i said it happened in this very condensed period of time. You know just like justin experience a couple of weeks. Sorta fast forward a bit. That guy ended up being pretty disappointed because he thought also always like. I'm gonna make a business out of this and i'm getting famous an assistant and and basically short version one viral post doesn't make business and he assumed that whatever he posted next would have similar results and that didn't happen at all or he thought well. Maybe it won't be huge but at least it'll be bic and it wasn't because the vast majority of all that attention he received was about this one original post ninety nine point nine nine nine. Whatever percent of those people didn't stick around so it's an interesting experience to have for sure but difficult to go from zero to whatever that is all that attention and then somehow kind of settle so to get to our caller's question here justin. It's great that you had that success. I would say instead of second guessing yourself instead of trying to capitalize on that particular incident that particular posts and instead of trying to recreate it. Because you probably won't be able to. I think it's best to think about why you're post created such an impact and is that area that topic something you want to work on more. If so don't think about your next strategy to go viral. Think about your next steps to create more of a foundation.

It's been a lot of fun nancy. Because i didn't set out to do it but we've been able to help over fifty people start to lose weight and feel better so that's really great. That's fine but we were just kind of doing arab thing living life and got added this to our plate. Yeah it's like it's his own ministry you know and that's an even though you start out with what you think you're supposed to be doing. You may end up. Dating Coach, Damona Hoffman, on Online Dating & Finding Love

"Online dating provides you an opportunity to access a wide pool of dating of daters and to screen through people. Before you get to the date. Now of course with that comes a bunch of challenges. Which i'm sure your your listeners have written about but the us with more with more opportunity comes more difficulty with making all the decisions and falling through all the steps that you need to to get to love so totally titled that if it's so like in going through this whole experience and being in this industry for so long. What is the best dating advice. You feel like you ever received you pass along or what do you feel. Even if you didn't receive it. Something that you feel is is the best dating advice that you have. The best dating advice is really to be authentic. I think what we say is the worst dating advice that i received. Was you know you have to dress a certain way. You have to look a certain way to be attractive. And i really fell into that line of thinking of you know. The standard of beauty is one way. And and you know all admit like i spent a lot of years feeling unattractive feeling rushed rated like going out to bars and like all. My friends are getting for their numbers. And i'm like what's going on and now lies when i started online dating. There were a lot of men that were interested in me that were suitable partners from me but they weren't necessarily the same guys that i would be meeting in bar so people like to say. Oh i don't want. I don't want only dating to be my story. I don't i don't like online dating. And they like to cut out in one entire method of meeting people. But it's like. I didn't stop going to bars and parties because i had met my match there and saying like oh i hate mars parties because There are there are no guys who like me i will. Yeah and in my dating dating pool. I think it's important to realize that the world is a large place and there's so many interesting wonderful people that don't happen to be in our backyard. That aren't at our corner bar aren't at the place aren't at the places we go to all the time where we're exposed to meeting new people and so the obviously we live in a time where we have modern technology and we should use it to our advantage in order to meet the person that is like the. I wouldn't say perfect for us. Because i do think that we do have a lot of soul mates out. There agree

How Your Content Strategy Can Grow Your Business With Jean Perpillant

"Been doing a lot of content over the last year basically since the pandemic started I've been doing a lot of of content. And i'm starting to see kind of the The fruit the fruit. Of those labor's a but i i just kind of started recently connecting the dots and doing a strategy for it. And i i don't know if it's good because you're in your own head and it's probably going to bounce things off people but Tell me tell me a little bit more about that. So if i to you as a client what is that process. Look like for you like no. No no you gotta let me give you. It's it's it's a common question. Did i get a lot of times. We just don't people just don't know where to start. It was like. I have an idea. But i don't even know if it's the right idea. I don't know if you know if it's if it's the idea because i got it from somebody else. My competitor from a friend and they seem to be doing okay or doing well so so yeah that kind of question. I get all the time and really for me. It all comes down to two goals. Where would you. What do you really want to see. As a as a goal at the end like what's gonna make you happy at the end. And then how do we we create or you know we create the steps the milestones the tasks the all the granular things. Down from that to say this is how we get there and also try to do is realize okay. Is this a worthy goal. So for example a lot of times people will say. Oh i just i i want to have you know more followers on social or i want to have more visits to my website or i want to have more sales to my my website. I want to get more customers that convert right or visitors converted all of those great goals. Alright so let's pick one though because we can't do is say hey. Let's let's tackle every single one of these things it'll drive all of us crazy right. And so what means more importantly t like is it is it. Is it the bottom line of getting your visitors to converting to to convert. Is it war getting the visitors that we have the opportunity to convert or is it just to get people that are already there to continue to buy more comeback or is it there. There's not enough people that know about you to become visitors to convert to then by unity. So like all of those things. Wisconsin talk through. Let's be honest about it. You know and that's it. You end up kind of being a little bit of a coach if you will. And you're in their corner. Because it's like i want to be invested in so tell me more. Tell me how unique. Tell me what you what you

"I appreciate the compliment on Twitter from the explosion just said I don't have access to the text line right now. So you have the film? Yeah. Yeah, but anyway, so you could vote on that Have a little fun. Let's let's hear from Vic Fangio. So Interesting situation for Vic Fangio right? Because he goes from being the head coach, which he's been And now he's shifting a little bit more just a little bit more into the personnel side. But the fact is in Vicky been points this out. Don't know if it's in the sound bite her in the one He points it out that If you're a good organization you're using Your head coach in part Of building your roster, right? I mean, I make it only makes sense. Why wouldn't you want the input from your head Coach? On what he needs to win. Simple right, so, but it is funny how there are some people that do subscribe to the idea that the GM picks the team of the coach coaches, the team. Look the most successful teams in the league right now. It's not like that. The coaches have input. There is an organizational direction if you can believe that. Have more on that the first years. Vic Fangio, talking about his greater role in personnel as he's gonna be, in part hiring a new GM. Well, we've had a role in it here, you know the last two years. I think that will depend upon you know who we hire, how they envisioned running the evaluation process. But you know, in this day and age with the teams Changing so much, even year to year. Even the really good teams teams, not with records, you know it proves Tonto have the coaches involved. Also, there's a vision. In a consensus of how the player fits exactly, but it's funny when I was listening to that earlier today, and it's such a Simple concept. But the Broncos have changed coaches so many times that that Message means something different to every single coach. That would have said it What? Gary Kubiak will, starting with John Fox with Peyton Manning. You know John Fox in John Elway, then to Gary Kubiak. With John Elway, then to Vance Joseph, with John Elway. And now the Vic Fangio. You get the input from each of your coaches on what they need to win. And you're changing philosophies constantly. If you're really following that, So then it's any wonder why you have taken so long to finally build the talent. On the roster to actually have some optimism that it's going eventually pay off because what Vance Joseph needed to win is not necessarily what Victor and you'll be looking for the win, would it No, they're not. They're different In terms of what personnel personnel. You're talking about the types of players. The personalities you want in your locker room, right? So Vance Joseph didn't care of his DBS could hit. He just wanted to cover Vic Fangio's Pacific Fangio once his DBS to hit because you're keeping the play in front of You gotta be a sure tackler. Social responsibility there. Um, you know, Vance Joseph. That didn't really care if his linebackers could cover. They're coming downhill. That's why you had Todd Davis. You know, Vic Fangio uses linebackers to be go away, be able to go away from the ball because he doesn't want to send that much pressure. It's Yeah, it's it's basically entirely different philosophies s. Oh, yeah, You're right. It is theirs and what those coaches need your cooking different dishes. Yeah, You need different ingredients. So then. The bigger question. The bigger point He comes Is Vic Fangio, the right guy to give maybe even a little bit more of that, as they bring in the new GM because you don't want too many cooks in the kitchen, right? You want. You want to make sure that the right voices were saying the right things and making the right decision is the right time. Right? So I mean, you don't want to all of a sudden we're adding a new GM. And then we're giving Vic Fangio more the John Elway still hanging over all of that, and he's got the final standing like you want to be very careful about mixing that soup. So how does how do you envision that looking? I don't think that's the way you look at. I think you look at it is you've got a head coach has been in the league 40 years. Has worked with a lot of general managers and know what knows what bad general manager Shit looks like. It. Fangio's job is gonna be won or lost by how Vic Fangio coaches on the field. It's not going to be won or lost by who he decides that general manager is, if he's going to be the ultimate decision maker. He's gonna have input. Got away from whatever you think of him was an excellent player. It has a very high winning percentages of general manager. He's made some correct decisions. Despite this rebuild, not being able to find the quarterback was his flaw. That doesn't mean that he was terrible that everything because he wasn't So there's another guy with 10 years of general manager experience in the NFL. Not including the apparently arena league time that everyone forgot about for some reason Championship, right Winning, right? Yeah. Um And you know, however long even how long was your player against 17 years. The player He's probably gonna have some advice on what bad general managers look like versus decent general managers. And so you want them to be involved in that process. That doesn't mean that their fingerprints are gonna be on the new general manager isn't going to take a job or he's a puppet. He's going to take a job where he's like, Look, this is my the culmination of my life's dream. I'm gonna take a job and I'm gonna be the man you're this is a resident building moment for you. It's a resume building moment for for hopefully this team and beyond, In fact, Micro cause of that..

"He saw the benefit and that was in the highest percentage pass completion that he's had his whole career points higher than his career era. This is just a follow in nor he believes in north. I talked to him about that. I talked to him about exactly what you're talking about. How do you be patient and he said I'm going back to my film study? Go back to go back to my footwork. You can even see from his throwing motion even with his all hand how close it is to his body. A lot lot like Tom Brady. Now that was last year's change you could see the throwing motion changes in this year's video that we have from training camp but it does take time and coaches coach's right it under the gun. What will he do in the human behavior? Go back to what you've done before coaches I get we got a forty three defense. I'm getting ready sending this Mike due to a gap and he's not going to see them. Does he drop down. Go sidearm does his left foot step out of the bucket. He opened up his hips. Is he going to do that. That's what we're going to have to watch watchword this year and we'll just put an extra eye on the things when he's off schedule or does this fundamentals do they stay intact and look I had Brett Farve at the end of his career and he didn't change that much from from who he was in terms of taking those those chances and I would talk to bread all the time about look. Don't don't hit on sixteen. We don't have take a chance all the time and it was hard to try to make that change at that point his career I get what he's saying about older guys who who have made adjustments and A. and that that is really important and I like the progress he's made with norv Turner and he's he's he got sacked. "So now I asked Amanda, I'm gonna ask you who is your survivor? Idle your role model who you think is most like you from the seasons in it's gonna be out even know how you pick, you know, for yourself. But anyway, 'cause I'll know lot of people say you out. Well, my favorite of all time that I always loved was Boston rob, like he was just like a Everett from way back. If you if Trump, we will kept you around. Okay. Yeah. He was on and heroes first villains with me in that. He's still on. Already am. You have no idea. Stephanie. Yeah. You have no idea. So I'm glad he sure idle because season thirty nine starts this fall him and stay Andhra or the new. Yes. But oh my gosh back, but, but I never Sandra to. Oh, jeez. You know what? I gotta why watch why does it start September? Okay. All right. I'm in number. But Stephanie, the interesting thing about this is they're actually out there. You know, when you had Bobby John played in Guatemala. I think you said, you guys y'all are out there for resource. Stay healthy entrees help your while. Yeah. Yeah. You you are playing but you were playing a game. Okay, season thirty nine Boston. Robin Sandra are not playing there. Strictly out there for resources for advice to the other players. Right. Ross coaches coaches, aren't you kiss in some just at? Asser. So you put this in your county. Fanie September twenty fifth is when survivor starts in his star is going to be an hour and a half show. So day on news, you can sing you're putting in his nine year off. Right now on my phone. We speak. Or is like Sirri on again. No just it's just them on, on, on, on this one on. Yeah. Come on. So that's not nothing like that. Isn't it? Whole away. What is it? T-bird. I was going to say, rob, isn't it interesting? I kept thinking, who was Stephanie gonna pick as her role model as idle in isn't it cool that she picked Boston. Rob I was looking at females but I love that. That's always on. I mean, we, we hung out like one night, eventually finally at some finale show or whatever. And I told him, I'm like you realize my favorite like I don't wanna be weird. I don't like that. And he's like, now as east coast guy muse Boston is Phillies so different. But then he heals mealy met KAI on everything like it was cool long. Kyle and ended up with the Red Sox eventually right? Oh, I know. You did. Yeah. And I think Boston X me about that. But he was the Red Sox. Then he got sent to the minors like that was the end of his career. Healy I think you'll had two big league starts up there. But still cool Fenway. Good. It's a baseball related question. Because I, I have some questions from our listeners and just in Feinberg wants to know, during Kyle Kendrick, Justin Justin who during Kyle's time with the Phillies did Stephanie ever bond. Wave Heidi hamels over their shared experience of being on survivor. Of course..

"We're now that ordered the jets for that matter. So we're now down to the Green Bay Packers the Cleveland Browns. We didn't interview it and a missing one in this progression of coaching vacancies. But really the only job that he was in play for through his choices much as other teams. Choices was the Green Bay Packers. They hired somebody. So of course, you gotta the search right cash games is going to be a coach Josh mcdaniels is going to be a coach. Coach at some point in time. He just is. And it's not gonna be this year. So when he says, yeah, I'm not going to be taking money out of the running. I don't wanna behave. Well, tell me where there was going to be a potential match. There wasn't. Yeah. I was just surprised that he didn't get the Green Bay job with all that experience in leflore. Of came out of nowhere. What is the general? Consensus of Cuyler Murray's talent level, NFL wise, and what is future in the NFL is going to be or could be. This is going to be one of the great topics leading up to the NFL draft. Because you're talking about a guy who's listening that I believe five nine not visiting wrong with that. And we have a situation where a guy who has tremendous football ability who was the most productive high school football player ever to come out of the state of Texas. And that's a long list of players with a lot of great talent. You're talking about drew Brees and Andrew walk and Andy Dalton Nick foles. Nobody was better than calamari. And let me say this. I believe you own equivocally wolves football more than he loves baseball four years ago to now everything's show goes back who's over football. This year was a test drive to see if he can be great and football against Greek competition they proved him so but winning the Heisman that he can play with the best of them. And I think now that he's proven that he wants to take his talents to the next level. And I know. Have to get back to four point six six million dollars liaise, but he's gonna go into dressed tire than that and make more money than that. And if he turns out to be the quarterback that some Phil value interesting he will be was next contract. And the NFL quarterback is going to be twenty five million thirty nine thirty five million. So there's more money to be made in football and. Important and that I think he loves football and wants to be a football player. But you think he's going to go into the draft in and he'd be a first round pick. Yes. I do. Hey, I know that you got a busy day. We appreciate you squeeze in some time in force. Thank you. Adam. Thank you didn't happy new year you to Adam Schefter for the mothership though. Yeah. I get the feeling and I was told prior to having Cuyler Maria on I was told by somebody who said, look he loves football. He's really good at baseball. Because we weren't sure. How he good? He wasn't football. Because of what happened in his previous stop. He wasn't getting a chance to play lost his job, then he transfers to Oklahoma. He's behind Baker Mayfield. And then all of a sudden he had the coming out party. And then people go boy, he's really good as a guy who is going to play baseball for his career. And then I think he started to realize I'm really good. I have a chance to win the Heisman. I have a chance to play for national championship high like this feeling because baseball can be a lonely sport..

"So you know, you have. Have you had, you know, data holders of West Virginia is looking for a guy you see how bunch of other ones not just in the SEC where there's going to be interesting to see certainly less miles higher. Chip Lindsay was a big higher of you have other guys like ship laws. We get a really good job at Notre Dame. I could see people being very interested in hell. So we'll see I think there's gonna be a lot of dominoes are gonna keep calling the next couple of weeks, of course, mill Tucker now Georgia's will having left no doubt on the defensive side. That's a that's a big vacancy there. He's gonna look to see the leak and higher on that front. So I mean, as you said this doesn't get cycle for for head coaching changes. But I think there's some interesting moves on the coordinator for that's gonna keep unfolding in the next couple of weeks. Bruce's far as the head coaching positions. I it's hard to imagine much else happening. Although you never know. I mean, even once you get past the bowl game, some some quirky things happen, but but what is the impact of national signing day in December having on on some staffs. I bring that up because I was talking to someone earlier today in New York, and while changes are being made you, and I both know more changes will be made after that after the first signing period. The it's made things a little more CAD. Look, I was in New York this past week for the football foundation about and there weren't many coaches coaches, their and the reason why a lot of guys now have to recruiting is a lot of guys are trying to sign almost the whole class in the next couple of weeks with the early signing period. Just you know, and then in the bay area now for for a bowl of that. And even that's become challenging because head coach they're trying to do trying to do home visits. And yet they're juggling. You know, they're bowl obligations. So I think that's changed a lot. I think it's forced you know, kids wanna know also who's going to coach them because a lot of times, it's the assistance who are who are really the ones that are most hands on. And so when used to see a lot of shuffling that would happen after that signing in February. I think you're gonna see a lot of it happened, you know, in the next two or three weeks and you'll see some of this before the dead period happens before you really get into the Mito bowl season. Bruce, b before you go. This is the award season two biggest of course, Saturday night. It seems like cower Murray has moved ahead of two. Why do you think that is if indeed that's going to be the the final result Saturday night? Hey, well, a couple of reasons one. I mean, the numbers he's put up in that system of been been staggering. You know, I think that's that's a big thing. Now he'd been doing that for for a while and the season, I think really what caused him to overtake. Two in a lot of people's ballots was just people looked at to us talented Eddie as he is. And they saw that while the guy who was the backup. Obviously is a really good player too. He jumped in there and lead them to the SEC title. And I think when people look through this prism, and they say if you take collar Murray off that offense Oklahoma's probably eight win team. If you take two off that team. I think people still and go oklaho- Alabama's probably in the national and it probably national title Calverton, and and certainly a playoff team. And so I you know at a lotta Heisman voters, I think operate under. It's a most valuable player award. And I think that's one of the things. That's you know, as good as Alabama is. I think it probably will hurt him a little in voters is just because of how the national type sorry how the FCC title game played out. Bruce Feldman many things we're always appreciate your contribution. We'll talk to you soon. Bruce sounds good. Thanks, paul. You're listening to the Paul.

He's been there advising the experts that we turn to you every single day business, Wall Street Journal done. All right. So we talked about the ten steps to the ultimate retirement plan. Right. What would you do get your checking account checkbook, I'll go to the Bank machine? See what your balance is? And at this point in life. Probably that's that's what I'm thinking about. But I need to be thinking further, and this is where I need the advice at your car in that kind of thing. And see what is the main thing about net worth is. We need to look at our house or a home. "Her to listen live or on demand. Whenever you like I've said this before baseball managers in two thousand eighteen with analytics don't do much. That's why the Yankees Red Sox managers combined. Don't make as much as the Boise state football coach. And I'm not joking. The Boise state football coach coaching twelve games a year in that conference makes more than Alex Cora and Aaron Boone combined. That's all you need to know about baseball managers. They're not gonna pay any money. They don't do that much. But what they do that. We all see is go to the bullpen. They walk out to the mound. They go to the bullpen. And we see it. It's right there. That's a big decision by the manager who he made the call to pull out. So last night. I it's not that I'm anti analytics, but some stuff works on a volume level on a scale level, but it doesn't necessarily work in October. And Dave Roberts in the San Francisco takes out Pedro Byas who has been on fire was terrible early. But on a fire for a month. He just blew the ball past. Guys. Okay. And Dave Roberts is in his binder. Well, I wanna get the lefty lefty matchup. Dave Roberts goes tactical over practical. And he brings in Alex would well, well, I like the Matt chop and the number say dude Pedro Baya's blowing the ball bass people a man who's pitching the best of his career. He's been on fire for a month. And he's got a hitter. It's not a great not one of the Red Sox. Best hitters coming up and you pull him because the binder I got hold on. I gotta look at the binder and Joe buck with a call. And a good bad ball hitter off handers. That is hammered. Three run home run. The Red Sox open up game one. You know, and John Smoltz. This is driving him. Crazy. A rod. This is driving him crazy. A rod talked about this again last night. Alex Rodman flabbergasted by that movement. And look we always talk about a point guard in order to be good. You have to see the floor a manager has to do the same thing. What metric are they previewed that you take up by who's dominating faces to hitters strikes them both out and make any sense scripted baseball. Does not work in October. It could work during the season script. It baseball. Does not work in October. Yeah. There's a big difference between a hundred sixty two games and the pressure of an October game in Fenway park. Don't over think the room in situations. You got a man who's blown it by people who's never had more confidence..

"I don't make it just putting making them aware. Everybody goes to a game when the referees coming there in the rest have their conversation. Everyone says, okay, this player does this right here there questionable with doing this right here. This taco dumps the ball like a half second before all that this guy holds, but he doesn't tricky holds with his inside hand on your inside and show to everybody residents your guess. I get held more than anybody in the world. They never caught it. Don't matter. It's up to what they feel that it is at that point in time. Right in there, like you said they were looking for, maybe he did atro-. Yes, and I'm not a lot so he did set it and spin it and get ready and then that everybody like that's the first thing they tell you this snapper has a pre movement like don't jump on this. Every sapper has a pre movement. They'll get a little grit, Aramco's it and ficials agree with it. Headed this agree with what is it. If you'd call it in the first quarter, I'd say, okay, this is the game games on the line. I just wanna point out in all my years of watching you skip, I swear. I think this is the red has ever seen. And like if you're listen, I like off me a game. We would be. I agree. I don't think referees should be dictating US open finals. I don't think I don't think they should have made that call. I do think the Redskins isn't when I coached my son's eleven year old, flag football team to a championship. I worked those reps all game all game and finally got the call, but I don't think that call should be made at the end of the game, especially when it's a guy who's done the same thing play after play year after year in back looking at it after I got a good sense look at it yet that costs in the mate. Okay. I just love. Hey, play nuts. Okay. This is what drives me nuts. It's look if he had gone to wiggle the ball, get his grip, get set. If he's wiggling and the whole line caves in on Dallas, then I got it. Then you got me because then the flags are gonna fly and they say, oh, you're willing football, he's once you set one hand on it, and then you go to get to other when you have a chance to get set with your secondhand. That's what he did. Okay. That's. But you think the risk and coaches coach the second year defensive tackle, no John, you jumped by your, I just you. I got hitting me. I you make that call in the now Najam and said they did with every coach does York, right? You give them the pretty guy. Then of course, I have to watch Al river on the director of -ficiating tweet that it was an illegal snap. No, it wasn't. It's what he's done for four hundred plus snaps. The game is it's Senator. They were wrong in costing. Okay. Yeah. Use what gets on my team took over the fourth quarter of that game. And again that he made the fatal mistake to put him in a hold that they couldn't quite climb out, but they were climbing. They were out. They had the momentum in the game. We were always told never let the fficials have control it. Okay, I got it. You go out there and you played recorders before that? The oldest cliche football. And you wouldn't have been in that position, but they were in that position and it was a bogus call in and even Tony Dungy who's who's usually pretty mild mannered on NBC on Sunday night games. He went crazy about this and called it, and I quote him a horrible call. And he said, we've looked at it multiple times and I don't see a violation. I don't see any observed movement or the football other than he just got his grip resistant. Was this against the Cowboys. Are was, was this to actually get you to this? Do you think there was a conspiracy I'm loving what I'm seeing you like literally always conspiracy for skit for did. They were like, we wanna watch skip on undisputed. "No idea shut up the john gallagher big win one of the real one guys in college basketball yeah we did that pole in the coach coaches series of the summer like if you can have a beer or drink with one coach like we asked at the kociolek who would that be an hugs online i think bill self was second those makes them but if john gallagher wetter a bigger school more well know you'd be on that list either either he's a fun guy to have a beverage to have a beverage with you wrote about kentucky do you care or anything about kentucky well you know kentucky was worth writing about because i thought that their way that they played was worth a column and i didn't try not to overreact here that i didn't say they turned a corner i didn't say the seeds be different from here on out but in watching the way that they rolled to beat alabama i just they looked better than any other game in my opinion and they had an sec played at this point perish don't know if you would agree with that or not but they took advantage late they didn't turn the ball over much and they were pretty good on the glass and with quality green playing one of his better games and then shea guilders alexander who just three to five times a game will tend to just make the right kind of play at the right kind of moment um it was really more running the offense but they almost could have a two point guard attack there if they really really wanted it you do that with knocks on the floor pj washington on the floor jeered vanderbilt on the floor i thought that was a good mix there we'll see if if cal ops users starting five or from a minute's perspective uses that more frequently we'll see it was just it was a nice way to stop the bleeding for kentucky calipari last fivegame losing streak came in 1990 when he was at umass he dodgers having that pop up back here 2018 but they got a road game against arkansas on tuesday night i do not think kentucky's gonna win that but if it does okay let's let's maybe reassessing a little bit but they're just kinda still there float in that.

"That he referenced the fact he likes taking young guys who were on draft one knows about and coaching them and seeing their reach their potential whether they get there or not but that part of coach ian reminds me when i was a high school coach you take a young kid in it's fun to see them grow and he's a coach's coach regardless of how he looks on the sideline how he talks to beat the preps at times he loves coaching and he made that very very clear also one of the about the peterson he is aggressive on fourth down and if he does what he told you he is going to do and just let fly that means any time its fourth in short don't be surprised if they go forward because i know what he's thinking in the back of his mind i gotta play defense with my offense from time to time when i get the opportunity to do that to keep tom brady off the field so it's a it's a great coaching match up it's the neil fight head coach versus the alltime greatest head coach in my eyes on for me watching this game and in this game on westwood one later on today it is going to come down to the fourth quarter and i can't wait to see how doug peterson handles nick polls in that situation i'd so you get in were under four hours from games time right now and there's you know conversations that are being head among coaches and players there is going to be something that's going to be said in a locker room at some point or other you have a history with this this is something that that you get an opportunity to do way back when what was your super bowl talk luck i'd like to remember i'd like to be able to tell you i remember what i said but there is a lotta time one thing there's a lot of time in the locker room before the super bowl there's a lotta time at halftime it's different and so i always thought i could say too much and.

"How the players playing the coaches coach in three days no effect at all on who wins but let's just say there are a lot of ways to engage in this game if you're looking to pick sides which i highly suggest you do makes it much more interesting so well done max for more final takes had to r e s t and youtube page that's where they all live comment react except for us dave in ah i know you have something to say about that final take you just heard what i was very loaded following final take it gives a lot of food for thought and excellent job i'm max kalama but there's a lot that we can take from a final take like that that is highly debatable and very very compelling to discuss and i'm looking forward to doing that in the days to come always brother guys we had a little bit of time real quick i just want to get back to this lebrun news of the dana he could go to the warriors deal honestly think this could ever happened stephen a i told you that the you know they're saying no way in hell abroad would it consider it he has nothing to do with this story it's all about the worries us not lebron's fault that this story is out there but the bottom line is this look braun if he were to ever consider it would be disastrous with him and his legacy as far as i'm concerned it would be the weakest move everbody superstar without question and nobody would let him go over this it would be that bad trust me on that that that he needs in we're on the same page about that he needs to overcome the warriors so the the problem is the reports of any he'll go to houston houston rockets lebron goes to the rockets there's a new warriors so almost it's not as bad as joining the warriors but they'll beat the warriors with libbra and so the question becomes where could he go where he could contend for championships and not make it kind of unfair so i my contention is still san antonio spurs ain't gonna win anymore and cleveland the houston rockets almost is on.

"Coaches he's got a high school coach right now that can tell him about all the things he needs to improve on he'll have a college coach and possibly he could go in and place in professional football he that good let those coaches coaching you be the only thing that you can be and be good at and that's a dad you tell him the things that that that he does well you be positive let them do that coach speak and i listen i walked away from that and i shook my head and i said that the last time anyone will ever ask anything about my children and i'll find something coach speak to talk about i'm going to find something good and i'm going to find something positive and i would suggest a parents out there that might might be listening you when you go to a games in watch him play you're sitting in the stands and you want everyone to know how much you know about the game but being negative is not in the best interest of that young man or that young lady find good things to say and talk about with them perry you you said he was a master psychologist and there there were there was greney day that you wanted to talk about it and then now whitey schwartz day soil i'll let you do both of those with don neil in here this week and we talked we are here he was here four days and we talked about doit perry dwight period dog bit west virginia code legendary yeah hall of famer talking about another hall of fame coach coach donate perry and first of all there it was never as it was here at michigan he was wait he was never coach perry he was doing and a here at michigan was never coach tim boeckler it was bo and they had that same thing that they wanted to be on a on a on a level with with each other in and and present it that way we had two things at bowling green he did today i mean they do would be unheard of and and certainly would not be tolerated but we had greney day so first day on campus freshman are separated from the varsity the varsity had been there for three weeks.

"If you draft him the your responsible for him and i love joan play with played against the he's a fantastic gm will he drafted brock osweiler in the second round trevor semi in the seven impacts than lynch in the for in the first and neither one of these quarterbacks ever reading above ninety okay so you can't just throw off blame here if he drafted a me he went after him then it has to fall to him now i don't know what the problem is as far as is is developing these guys a lot of times that comes out the coaching coaches their quarterback goes you know off his coordinator things and things of that nature but you can absolve them here because he pulled the trigger on these guy he also hired the coach who you're here here's here to me is the bigger issue is you can look at the quarterbacks you've got to put people around to support quarterbacks especially if your draft from the seventh round they have had an offense of wind that couldn't balk their way of wet paper sack for the last five years they don't have a tight end they can get open they don't have i mean they have a myriad of different issues and then all of a sudden you're going to put a quarterback in there that's a young quarterback that that has his issues and you say we're not going to protect you we're not going to give you a weapon at the tide imposition that controlled middle the field and good luck in a world counting on you go out there and win a game my biggest issue with monday night monday night was a winnable game monday night you should have one monday night you at three running backs it averaged jamal charles averaged five yards a carry cg anderson averaged five and a half years you carry booker average six yards a carry you win that game if you don't turn the ball over.

"I mean, it's sort of Bella check in in some ways, but also his is obsession. He, he just him in roles such a perfect marriage for a while there. 'cause roses, obsessive success. And then once you know, once you started doing well, he really wanted to protect you. So you know, because he keeps his his friends, so close and call them. But anyway, this a separate story. The point is. Tebow is obsessed with success in demand so much of his place. And I think that for a young team, it's very, very dangerous. You know, per team with Townsend wagons. And some of those guys when you kill the spirit of mean, you know, you can potentially stump their growth in ways. And I think that I'm not saying that's happening right now, but I'm telling you that I feel that that was a major reason why they didn't do well here. That's interesting. So they didn't stay why they didn't cross that last lexicon. I guessed Rubicon as Lord. So it's kind of like a also a terrible himse show. But. So it's almost a Gruden esque way of just rubbing the wrong way against your players. Yeah, you know. And I'm not sure if anyone else in Syria, but I, I wouldn't say that that's definitely a possibility. And I say, when you think of towns in wagons, I think will how much spirit they have. You know, when you watch them plan, I think underrated part of the NBA when you think of the freedom that the best players have and the meeting to edit come from within from some of these guys. And I know I'm talking until generality now, but and it's impossible to quantify some of this but kinda like, I mean, I think that there's, there's definitely a lot of that. I think that you can definitely row players their own way by being overly demanding, especially in the grind of the basketball season, and they haven't happened early with really young players thought supernatural game and how his knowing who's back then, you know, in on the Bootle he was a personal coach coaching and finally gotten his chance, you know, because you're talking about a thirty year assistant bowl, basketball white, or they've never gotten a head coaching chance. So you know, here's probably more amenable to. Kind of coming sort of to some of the stuff from the stars like the Derrick Rose's Jerry Reinsdorf. You've got bigwig all of it. It's building in the shadows, Jordan and tipping and all that he doesn't. He owns, he runs that show. I mean, he's, he's the guy by the. Can I tell you Reinsdorf hall of fame speech was my favorite speech of this this class. Oh, wow. I thought that was his. He's got a lot of good stories to tell for sure, and I, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna do it Justice, but I thought the funniest thing anybody said during that whole that whole process was Reinsdorf's joke about when a bar mitzvah being when a young Jewish boy realizes he's more likely to own it and be a team than play for one. That's perfect. Actually for him and his son, we'd probably go do the same. Yes. I tell you what I was wrong about Andrew Wiggins. I didn't think at least from what we're seeing so far that that he would be this guy Wiggins averaging twenty six points a game shooting. Almost fifty percent from the field and far more importantly shooting almost fifty, five percent on three and a half temps from three game. I did not think injure. Look. Those numbers aren't going to sustain themselves obviously, but I did not get arrogance was baby a forty percent. Three point shooter. I thought he was always going to be, you know, the the beta on a team, but he looks like this looks like a guy. You could win a scoring title. At some point, he looked spectacular so far. Yeah, I mean, and you look at the guy, I believe he's still waiting the league in scoring, but the Marta Roseanne is kind of an interesting compared for him and I and I don't think either of those guys will win a scoring title. I don't think we can do. I mean, he is he's another predator naturally. Skill score had just athletes in general. But you know, we're talking about a super small sample right of an eastward forty..
