"On the board. Problem with that last one. Problem with me celebrating my choice for the AFC west champion of the 2022 season finally being on the board. Is then the Kansas City Chiefs played in Tampa last night. Oh my God. Hey good. Did the chief show up last night? Did the chief show up last night rhetorical question? Yes, they did. They showed up in the spot where they lost the Super Bowl to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Patrick Mahomes running around for dear life on a terrible toe that required surgery. Subsequently on that night caused the chiefs to go back to the drawing board on their offensive line. And a few observations from last night's game. I looked it up. I looked it up. When you play the chiefs and you decide to put your offense out there first and get the ball first, you should not fumble the opening kick-off and give the ball to the chiefs right on the 21 yard line. That's good advice. I looked it up. I looked it up. Just in case my instincts were awry. Arias consulting stays working. Don't do it. Future opponents of the chiefs. Wait at all costs. Here's what you don't want. Because two plays later Travis Kelce is doing whatever he's doing in the end zone. He's doing that dance. And then that just got the ball rolling. If you allow the chiefs to get their figurative offensive ball rolling problems, problems. And we hadn't seen this offense since week one in Arizona. Where they put up 44. And the next two weeks in which they split their games, losing last week in Indianapolis. How'd that happen? And then the previous week, Kansas City taking on the Chargers at home and that was a Thursday night in which we all know Herbert fractured his rib cartilage, but that was a tough road to Ho. Lots of tough sledding in the first half of that game and the narrative is they miss number ten. Well, number ten is now warned by 7th round rookie Isaiah Pacheco. Who last night was part of a running attack in which the chiefs racked up a 189 yards on 37 carries. And that's in addition to mahomes finding 9 different receivers. 9. Three of them for touchdowns. Jody fortson scored last night, everybody. Tony foster? No, Jody fortune. No relation to Danny. Might be sky more a couple catches. McCall Hardman just had one catch for four yards. Clyde Edwards had one catch could add a second one for a touchdown. That's the only way bucks, defense got off the field in the first half last night was when on a fourth in one a wide open Clyde Edwards and lair had one go off of his hands in his helmet. That's what the chiefs did to the bucks. Just absolutely bull rushed him. Bull rushed him with an actual rushing attack and then bull rushed him with a whole bunch of plays offensive plays, how about that rushing touchdown by Noah gray last night? Where mahomes is play acting? Eric Stonestreet said he taught them how to ad lib, right? Stone street's taking credit for this? Stone street tweet out last night after mahomes was pointing in the direction like he's directing traffic and everybody looks at 15 directing traffic on the one yard line and Noah grey just went under center. Oh, sneak. That's some free form crazy stuff that they're thinking of. That's a red zone play, folks. How do you defend that? You can't, you can't defend this team when mahomes street balling. And he's also operating this offense like a Maestro and you can't stop Noah gray and Jodie fortson from double teaming you. That's the problem. The chiefs present. Still. After all this time. And defensively, defensively, they're getting after you that that kid sneed. Can you play football or what? And George collapses who they drafted. And of course, Chris Jones when he's not saying magic words that I would kill to still know what he said in Indianapolis. It caused him to get fined. They find him for it. I'd still be alive. But luxurious sneed in everybody else, different levels of this defense, man. Problem. They have presented a major issue. For everybody when they're playing like this and they played like that last night. And the offensive line, they got, I mean, talk about just returning to the scene of their. Utter disappointment in that Super Bowl that night. Where they got out pointed in the first half by Brady finding Gronk. All those times and mahomes was running for his life and we even, you know, we talked about it with Brett veach there, general manager within a couple weeks later. He's just like, yeah, I looked at the team that night and I'm like, we got to redo our offensive line. And they did. And they blew open damn near 200 yards of holes against the number one rushing defense. And this is a specialty pardon me of mahomes. It's to beat the number one scoring defense in the NFL. He's now 6 in one against the number one scoring defense in his career in the NFL, putting up 30 points per game and passing for 322 yards. That's a good step. The bucks allowed on average coming into this game. 9 points per game and he destroyed them. I mean, that play again that he flipped it to Clyde Edwards in the end zone after running to his right and creating space and creating time to spin back. And then honestly, it looked like he was shooting free throw right there, which, by the way, he practiced before the game NBC showed that. That was ridiculous. Rich, he's out there just points. He's just the street ball that dumb ass unnamed. Coordinator said that that's all he does, but clearly that's not all he does. He also can't defend it. You know what he also does. He also barks at Travis Kelce for getting in the way of a pass and this game was already basically decided. That was weird. And Kelsey's just like, yeah, you could even see it. The international body language of yeah, my bad. My bad. No, it's interesting, rich. Mahomes says 11 touchdowns on a year. You know how many wide receivers have cut? Two. Well, he said he's just a different game. It's a different player every game and he warned that a fantasy player is going to take chiefs this year, but obviously he and Kelsey, it's tough to watch this and not think they're going in the Hall of Fame together. Yeah. Those two guys, that's what I thought when Kelsey, when he's barking at Kelsey and he tapped him on the helmet and Kelsey kind of had like a my bad hang dog look after having an incredible night, I'm like, these two guys are going in there. They're going to be in a bus because he'll be there a little before him. No doubt. Mahomes is got like 2021. I'm sure in this day and age. The claim molding. And then one last thing apropos of nothing on the chiefs. Certainly, as you know, NBC has the players on camera announcing their names and schools. Just go ahead and look next time when the chiefs offensive line pops up. Do they lead the league in offensive lines that look like offensive linemen? All of them? All 5 of them, you're like, yeah, if you just drag them, stand in front of you in life, you go, you play offensive line, right? You're an offensive lineman, right? Just take a look at him. And I got a sports talk question for you too about this game. Okay, do you feel after watching last night? Do you feel better about the chiefs or worse about the bucks? I think the bucks are fine. No, I understand, I accept the question for two reasons. One, it's sports talk radio. And then number two, I see what you're driving at, and I will go with, I feel better about the chiefs because that's still TB 12. And man, that dime he dropped on Mike Evans, hitting the back pylon, right? I'm not concerned that Brady is defrayed.

"I grant the Bristol probably have Mike McCarthy, which is not great. But let's see where we are in four weeks. Like I just, like, didn't the Patriots? I mean, we saw the Steelers were 11 and one last year. They peaked too early. Patriots were they like ten and one that year that they lost the Tennessee and the playoffs? Like, you don't want to be great now. You want to be great. We had the best defense. Yeah. Yeah, I think I was watching the pregame show, which I don't usually do. There's like 20 people on it. The NBC show. And they were really trying to make the case for Denver, and it was a lot of like Chris concerts. I'll tell you. This team thinks they can win. You know, it's like a lot of that stuff. Good match up, and they can run the ball. And I'm like, you guys, I'm just watching it going. You guys are insane. You want to make a case for Denver? Do not show that Vic Fangio one in 18 when trailing at halftime graphic. Because immediately we're going to turn that shit off. Or like Casey's beat Denver over and over again for like three times. Yeah. Or how about their 9 point favorites for a reason? Or like, you know, now that Clyde Edwards hilarious back, they actually seem a little frisky on offense. They have a little yin Yang Yang with him and Williams. I don't know, they look pretty good. Arrowhead at night. They're off a bike. Yeah. I thought it was weird that they were like trying to tell us how good Denver was going to do. Anyway, they didn't do well. And neither did we today with gambit. Did you have Alabama or Georgia in that game? Of course I had Georgia. Of course I haven't. So what'd you do? You did like money line in the underwhelming money line with everything. Every little thing. I mean, there was so much better. I mean, I looked at the common opponents and they had beaten their common opponents four of them. So it's a good sample size, but like 26 and Alabama and one by 9. And I was like, this maybe should be like a ten point spread. And then right away, we saw, oh yeah, this is, I don't know, maybe this is just a way to get two SEC teams in, but we'll see. You'd be proud of me. I watched most of that game. You did? Alabama just seemed way better. That's my take. They did. They're skill guys are ridiculous. Every year, they just have all these guys. And I know nothing. I'm like, oh, that guy looks like a pro. He looks like they were not interested in playing defense like they had been. The Georgia quarterback was that a bad game for him or is that like the bigger stage? I think that's the difference. Like when recruiting, they never got the quarterback that they should have. That would have made the difference. But, you know, but that's what purpose be smart. Well, you know, Michigan fans, right? You have a few in your life? Yeah, yeah. I mean, they are like this could take over the nation of Michigan wins. I'm actually nervous for all of us. There's a lot of them out there. This generations of them, they didn't see this coming. It's feeling a little O four red soxy. I think they I think it would have been a hundred times more likely that Harbaugh was going to get bought out and like November, December versus this is played out, right? Yeah, for sure, with all the buyouts, yeah. It's going to be good. They're pretty good. I've watched a couple of Michigan games. They're definitely good. I think Michigan Alabama would be a fun one to watch. I don't think that Michigan would win, but it would be a spectacle. Yeah, either way, that Mitch and Georgia game would be great. I can't believe that line is 9. I would jump on that for sure. Michigan's first 9 points. Stupid. All right, we'll do guest lines. Let's take a break. "F f t all right. Are there any first or second round picks you are genuinely worried about because we could sit here and say oh bilo on calvin ridley and buy low on just aj brown or wherever but are there any first or second round picks that you are not calling a bilo if they're struggling to remember who the I'm looking at adp right now. You want some candidates. Second round picks because clyde edwards was a third round picnic. Technically is what we're calling him. Is that right you tell me. He was twenty seven point nine okay. So that's the third round pick but yes. We should be worried about clyde edwards dealer but he is one that. I'm probably like this happens a lot and we'll happen. Many more times probably. He's probably one that. I might buy one because it seems like the perception has fallen from like number two running back to not even a number three running back while i'm worried about what coaching staff perception is of him. And i understand that. But he's still getting he's like seventh right now. In percentage of teams russia temps. But he's he looks. He might be a trap back. Because daryl williams got the goal line kerry. he's not super super involved in the past game as a little inconsistent Now look last year. He had the most carries on the team inside the five yard line. I think a lot of them came in week one. So i don't wanna give eighty percents of the snaps in the red zone to okay right. So i don't wanna just condemn him to not being the goal line guy. I know what happened on one. Play that williams got in there. But that doesn't mean that that'll continue happening. So what would you be willing to give up. Or how do you value clyde edwards. Either going forward very very similarly to hell i valued him in draft season. I think i have been like running back twenty one and the projections right now and i had 'em running back twenty Coming into the year. I i view like there's a part of it is also that some of the other running backs like no one's emerged. Hardly at all. Except for damian harris. You may be the only guy who's really passed him all that much I value very similarly to james robinson. I value him very similarly to Chase edmunds.

"Except for mike. Remers was in for that one. Play the the tackle eligible play that the browns blew up The other interesting thing that i think we saw in the Was at running back. Where obviously Clyde edwards layer was the bell cow the offense but he was on the field for the same proportion of running and passing plays. We haven't always seen that. Sometimes we have seen the lead running back Used more often on running plays on on passing plays but edwards allaire williams and jerick mckim mckinnon behind him. All were on the field for pretty much. The same proportion of running and passing plays so what that tells us. Is that the chiefs. also andy. Reid is is reading your snap count article. I want you to stop for really. What what this tells us that at least for this game the chiefs weren't putting specific running black out there on the field in a passing situation because they felt that the normal running back couldn't handle it so this suggests that they are trusting edwards hilar- as a pass protect your protector and also that they're using him in the passing game more than they would have in previous seasons that the interesting takeaways. Yeah i love when the data matches the press conference because some you get of them. Are you sure that you really trust clyde edwards. Allaire pass for the numbers. Do show that. I thought it was interesting. Here john with the damarcus robinson number we were wondering with cheese finally replace robinson and some of the snaps that he got with byron pringle but look like it was in the forties to what byron pringle having eleven or twelve snaps their right. Yeah and and again you know you pay attention to how they are used in running in passing situations which we can do with the data that we get to do this which is different than what the nfl puts out in the game books. Which is what you typically see Both hill and And robinson were used pretty equally on running and passing plays but the reserve wide receivers were used mostly on passing plays so You know what that tells you. Is that hill. And robinson or the starters at this point and everybody else is behind them yeah interesting. I really didn't expect that and watching. Training camp at the chiefs continued to trust robinson. Who for years. The coaching staff would complement adds to knowing the playbook so again we are speculating here. From pro numbers but iron pringle. Who knows if maybe he has a complicated time learning what would be everything. Robinson does a mccoll hartman actually had less snaps robinson. I know that john you're still working on the defense. But pulling up the game book. I thought it was telling both from a year-by-year comparison bolton the gay and then bolton a neiman just in general you don't have willie gain this game bolton out snaps ben neiman forty five wardi and was that the coaching staff really had trust and really saw enough to throw him into the fire in this game right and i think when we finally get the snap counts. Data accumulated in britain on era had pride. You're going to see some interesting breakdown. How those linebackers were used and running versus passing situations. But we haven't gotten there yet I'll pull back the curtain a little bit. Normally we get this information. This detailed information that we use for our snap counts analysis on the day after the game but for reasons that are yet unknown to us. It's been delayed this year and we are. We are arguing with the nfl out sooner for the alexi week while we're complaining about the nfl. We have a wide variety of individuals as part of this arrowhead pride team. Ron cop lives in america. Tom childs from the uk. And tom has access to the all twenty two at this point. But ron or lead analysts still dealing with the broadcast film. What is going on. Nfl what is that about. This worked out in the preseason. what are we doing. nfl okay. That's enough complaining about the league. Ron has one advantage that tom doesn't because tom iran was actually at the gain accent. Oh yeah because it which. Tom of course was not living in in london. But ron was not only at the game but he actually appeared briefly on television Which was very funny for us. Because in our little private slack chat among the arrowhead pride staff it blew up the minute he showed up on. Tv was that ron cough and it turns out that it was. I believe they've been discussing us on twitter. So if you wanna see wrapped up in fan form. Great analysts for us but went full fan on sunday is jumping around at the game. Port of what was a very loud arrowhead stadium that really affect game especially on that punt. Perhaps we'll get into that in our marinated takeaways in segment. Three ron came at me after the game. Game ends about seven thirty. Says i'm i'm thinking about writing an article tonight that i didn't hear from him and he told me that he got food poisoning from the arrowhead stadium. That video on. Cbs did not look like someone would food poisoning. Luckily rhyme can't comment on this until next week sarah had pride of structure. Sure he'll say about that but he does a great job. He had a great article for a sporting Discussing What was chris. Jones's comments about this game. Mike use his comments about this game. And we love ron. Great member of our party is indeed. "You just expect him to go out there and ball out and look like he's the best player in football and that's what you wanna see and i think that's what you're gonna get like even if it winds up being close game and i hope it's a shootout personally He's still gonna come out on top. Am i like he. He's still gonna find a way to do what he's always done. Which is like you'll never lose a game by double digits prior to that super bowl because he's just insane doesn't even make sense. Let's get into this game. I i was wondering as you're coming into kansas city to cover this. What are some of the storylines that you're looking at in this particular week. one matchup. Well i mean if you take kansas city and we had a chance to speak to them today. I think there's a lot of question marks going on right now on the defensive side of the ball and specifically retirement matthew. We still don't know whether he'll be out there. When things i ask. Bags is when you own a tyrant matthew certainly lose the talent on seal but you lose the energy. The emotion leadership off the field in a game like this. You're going to need that because you know that cleveland's gonna bring it and so you know anthony hitchens a guy who might be able to step out who will be able to step up in that role but losing tire matthew would be really would be really tough in fact said they would be able to do some of the things they'd like to do I think that's a question. Mark i think frank clark being potentially limited is a question mark but then you go to the offensive side. Because i think that's whatever wants to talk about of course because he doesn't wanna talk about the offensive lock because that is the first line going into this. This rebound offensive line. I had a chance to watch. Espn today and i heard. I don't remember who it was like. They're the best offensive line in football. Come week eighteen. Well that might be true in. Andy reid said mainly but we have no idea out there to general how they're gonna perform against this defensive line. These edge rushers of cleveland and so they added david clowney whether he'll be able to play with illness but i think that's the biggest question. Mark is seeing how this offensive line That has a few inexperienced guys on it. Gels together and then watching patrick. I think what you're gonna see from him is especially in front of a really good offensive. Line is one of the things he pointed out. He doesn't want just rush to scramble. He really wants to take his time in the pocket. Make sure that he is comfortable in there before scrambling you doesn't have to take off as quickly as he as he feels like he tends to do. And it's funny. You watch a guy like him so good and you're like how can he improve. He finds things to improve on every year. And i think after the super bowl loss he made a point of watching every single play in that super bowl game and realize easy. Sometimes you took off too quickly. So i think we're gonna see a little bit of that Love to see clyde edwards allaire and what they do in the run game How they get him more involved in the passing game as well so there's a lot to unfold on that side of the ball and then of course you have the cleveland browns. And i wouldn't say they're out for revenge but this is a big game for them. Misses a tone setter. This is a chance for them to kind of make a statement They've had a lot of changeover. I think their defense is going to be really good. this year. One of the players. I'm obsessed with right now has been used. I think he's gonna be great stepping in northwestern. He's going to be tough. It'll be interesting to see how they play him So i think y- that and you have ob bj back right had is. He fit back in And then how healthy. So i think there's a lot of pieces you know. There's a lot of different storylines. And i go into a game with a lot of stuff and you just don't know where that game's going to you kind of prepare for every angle and and hope that it all works out but there's a lot of story lines coming into this one..

"Call him. Run out of that tunnel at arrowhead and seeing those fans going crazy and just enjoying that moment. We'll we'll be special. And i'm sure it'll help us. Football photos will already feel more prepared for this another. Maybe mateen fans of like having significantly. I think it's just it's so different. I think that's the biggest thing i think. Coach does at year in year out No matter how we do the year before we go out there and he tries to emphasize maximize our shrinks and obviously teams change every single year. And so the playbook changes every single year and so. I think that's what that's what kept us kind of having success in this league. Is that every single year. Were coming out with new plays and we're not staying stagnant on where we're at google. Yeah for sure but at the same time if you're not ready to go for the season opener especially when you're playing at home I i don't know what's going to make you ready. So it's it's definitely exciting. We're playing a really good football team. I'll be a great great test for us to see where we're at and i'm excited for it. It's going to be five stars progressing together. And what's that gonna be like especially the new guys. Because i actually you together. Yeah we'll to. I feel like as the train camp went on and they kind of started building that thing and they were together kind of every single day you start seeing how they communicate how they were able to make the call quickly and give them across the whole entire offense line and obviously it'll be excited for the first game. I mean all of us will be. But i think Them lean on the veterans in their room in the veterans on our team. They'll know that they'll subtle and they they have what it takes to go out there and show it or you just want to win every single day. I think that's what we're preach and we have the first day of practice. I guess you say real game week. Practice for the cleveland browns today so i'll come on with the mindset. I'm gonna be the best. I could possibly be at practice so that i'm preparing myself for sunday. People often ask me of prosecuting. The mob is like the movies well. there is violence. "The chiefs. A little bit on the trip with the triple patient step. Dury's fountain is most likely to become bishop. Justin jefferson i saw this in our ticker the way that it works as these writers will submit john and i the articles. Touch them up. Edit them about about a boom. That's how editing works. Throw them up on the website. I said i cannot believe. I'm going to run this but here we are. We've had a lot of people just tweeting back at the arrowhead pride twitter account not reading the article. This is such a thing but what came out of it. I'm sure rocky will explain this. On twitter in ron coppell touch upon and maybe on the next. Ap out of structure after the game next monday is that there was some kinda dare exchanged about justin jefferson the response that hasn't even rookie. That's that's that's a crazy. Jefferson was a rookie. Dury's fountainhead six games. He he's a third year player that it seems like he's finally coming into his own but what you can read on our head. Pride dot com. Is these guys. Have a similar Physical stature. I just don't know the opportunity at least right away. It might take an injury for defoe to really get a look in what i i tend to think the position Replacing sammy watkins. Which falls probably under like the pringle robinson. I think nicole hardman will have an elevated role. But it won't be in the exact way that the chiefs houston you watch. I thought that was a grand misconception. But good to have some depth here. And i don't think it's gonna be justin. Jefferson's like twelve to fourteen hundred yards. But what i'd be stunned. If defoe right set of circumstances he ends up with seven hundred seven fifty if things break his way no because he looks that good in the preseason i. i'd like to see what he ends up with And if you can push him push draft pick which spread features. Never done adam the lineup. Now can he challenge. What would be the pringle and the robinson to get more playing time with the offense. I think there's a chance of that. Because he wouldn't be on the roster other was right obviously the chiefs see something in him and And maybe it's just a question of finding the right place And that'd be awesome For us to get that kind of a production out of a player like that of course. It's a crowded room and it's gonna be hard for any one of these receivers to get more than Five or six hundred yards so And i and. I think you're also making a good point about sammy watkins. We spent the whole off season talking about replacing. Sammy watkins with you know the true x. Receiver so on and so forth. But you know the best. Nfl coaches tailor. their approaches to the players that are available to them. And i think that we'll probably see some of that this year Maybe that's why we've got four tight ends on the roster is that readers realized it may be difficult to find Someone as good as tyreek hill on the other side as a wide receiver. So let's let's do something different with tight ends and this is the. This is the way. Andy reed thinks. You know. this is pushing pull you know a little inside baseball and a little bit. How sausage is made type thing. But i think we're running into article because you have tyreek hill. Let's conservatively say twelve. Fifty for the have travis kelsey. Let's conservative conservatively. Say twelve fifty for the yardage. So that's twenty five hundred. Yeah let's you'll clyde edwards five hundred receiving yards right. Put patrick mahomes at five thousand yards. He has the extra game she only left with two thousand yards. How were those two thousand yards right split up amongst the rest of the team. Do you have room for another thousand from coal. And you're only left with thousand per noah gray demarcus route like where. Where do these numbers for individually. Come from especially considering. We're being conservative with hill and kelsey at twelve fifty. Which is crazy to say. But we didn't didn't marcus. Robinson have like almost four hundred yards last year for two years around. Yeah yeah and and this is a guy that people don't even think about is like an afterthought for most fans you know so I think the idea that there could be You know another receiver to get. Your point stands though that there's going to be a lot of guys competing for a relatively small number of yards. And maybe that's why reid is adopted this strategy to bring in some more tight ends and do something different trying to get it all out of the why the wide receivers all right moving on with the unofficial depth chart already talked about the fact that three rookies are on the offensive line. That's been a topic of conversation for a while. Now i think finishing up with the offense the fact that jodi fortson and jerk mckinnon or simply on the roster is a little bit of a surprise fortson. I think we'll have a role on this team and we'll see if it grows as the year goes on but that four tight end thing. I think you're going to see it once or twice a game. I really do. I think that's a package that eighty read is not gonna be able to help himself with all about all bacteria kill and say listen. I'll give you a little red And then jerk mackinnon. I think we'll have a role in this team as well. Even though he projects similar to clyde edwards celerion later in the game. Clyde might be a little tired you throw jerick mckinnon out there fresh legs and truly i mean he's china kind of just been waiting in the wings with that injury situation that he's had in his career for a while now to get an opportunity to be productive. I think you'll see mckinnon. Maybe more than you realize you know. I've always found it interesting. That coaches and analysts pundits writers all kinds of observers fans even We'll talk about. oh well. We've got four running backs and they each bring different of style to the game. And isn't that great and i've often wondered. Why is that great. You know if you've got a good running back who fits in your offense. Wouldn't you want to have another running back. Who also fits in your offense the same way to be his backup. And that's one thing that i think we can think about about mckinnon because i think he's going to be more of a an edwards allaire style of player right then we have previously had. I think it's fine to have a change of pace back for third down. You know a guy who is a bruiser more than a guy who's gonna go dancing through the line. Pick up twelve yards on first down. I think it's fine to have a third down back who's better suited for that kind of a short yardage situation. But i'm just not really necessarily buying into the idea that it's an advantage to have four different kinds of running back on the football team. I i'm i'm not sure how that logic works. So one point. I have on this and then we can move onto the defensive side. I just unhappy for daryl williams. That.

"In the perfect place with first round draft capital. He goes to mike tomlin. And the pittsburgh steelers. Look at the workload that these players have received levian on belle de ngelo williams james connor. Whoever the guy is for mike tomlin they get work over the past five years. We've seen the one for pittsburgh. Average eighty three percent of the carries and a sixteen percent target share that is essentially. You're combining derek. Henry's workload on the ground and austin workload through the air into one person and on top of that najji hair is a super town dude to take all of that work and just explode for fantasy football over the last decade first round rookie running backs that were drafted in the top three rounds. They've all beat their adp. Except for clyde edwards allaire history on the side of of najji hairs. Analytics are on the side of najji hairs. The film study is on the side of najjar. everything is there for him to be a dominant fan. I get two more things that i think are on the side of his longest. Oh yes are there on. I will not hear counterpoint at this time. No there are no counterpoint. If there were counter points for a rookie would normally be. Based on a couple of things it would be this. Maybe size right like got the size to be true. He's large workforce. And then you would go. Okay age and acclimation time. He's older for a rookie running back there. There is a part of you. Know the closest thing you get to the nfl and college is playing. Yes at alabama. Yes and in the sec. And then you combine that with the age what. We've already seen from a trust perspective from the coaching staff like. They drafted him to hand the job to him. So i can see it all right. I'll go ahead and jump in with my fantasy football. Mvp for twenty twenty one it's rahim who the dream forty niners running back Look good vibes heading into the season on just delivered a season two system warning after a certain amount of years. Like if you're not on prime time you lose your nicknamed you don't lose it. You're just share. It overheated dreams taken it for at least. This episode divides heading into the season. Or great for this rushing attack the read option potential with trae lance if you look at the final preseason game. They ran for two hundred and forty two yards and four touchdowns you already know. Shanahan can do that. And you're going to unlock another cheat code. I brought it up with the read option with trae lance all tin plays on their first drive. Remo moster was the only running back out there. He is a guy and when you listen to the coaching staff. Talk his speed to the edge. Is the secret weapon. Nobody else has it in football in it's essential to what they're doing in the backfield. Let's remember what rehim most can do for fantasy. He didn't start a single game in two thousand nineteen and had five rb one weeks including an rb eight run during weeks twelve through seventeen last year marred by injury but he started out and did exactly what i'm talking about rb six and rb fifteen in the game that ended and left with the mc l. He still averaged eighty five total yards per game for the for them last year. Mckinnon is gone. This is going to be traced sermon and when the offense is doing what it's supposed to do it's going to be renamed. We're bringing it up in the office the other day and al was like. Is he really the fastest player in football. And yeah he pretty much is the fastest player in the game Eight point seven percent of his runs of gone for fifteen plus yards. It's better than shah better than henry better than cook. That's the special sauce. And that is the kind of Uniqueness to him where he doesn't have to be in every down running back to still be a fantasy football. Mvp he had the two fastest runs in twenty twenty. He still got the jews. Kinda came on lateness career. Very much like gus edwards. He battled for every inch And so i do. I'm not going to presume injury for he most or what i saw in that final. Preseason game going into the year was electricity. So i am i am. I drafted him in our league record. Draft traded up for him. And i'm in on regime. Yeah i do have the twinges of worry of both injury. because that's been the history and and the fact. That trae sermon is there. So second half of the year does he get more and more involved especially it's fair especially if my worry is one injury that takes him out for a week and all of a sudden traits every comes in and it just dominates and then maybe it will goes different but you give in this offense regime. Moster twelve carries. And we're not talking about twenty five you give 'em twelve thirteen touches and you have really good odds of getting one of those sixty yard. Touchdown runs you win your week. I i am in on remote for draft day right now. I like grabbing him. I like capitalizing on on the falling value of him in drafts and I do think if i started strong with them might move on. I might capitalize on. What looks to be a star just because of the situation. But i like i like him. You might only be a first-half. Mvp for you. Yes that that would be. That would be take i'd be. I'd be happy with that. My confidence in most of it is not anywhere near where it is for you guys but you. You're you don't have to pay like with confidence. Pick in your draft to his. Adp back of the sixth round. He says seventh-round running back. He's not even in the dead zone. And so for the for those reasons. I am in and very very happy to draft in there all right my twenty twenty one fantasy. Mvp is scary. terry mclaren scary teri washington wide receiver. Who already has shown that he is a fantastic world beater but he has been on a putrid offense terrible quarterback play. And i believe that this is the year where the in totality he is going to truly dominate for fantasy. I'm very confident. I don't have any issues with terry. Maclaurin the player the talent anything i've ever seen on the field. He is fast. He's a great route runner. He has good hands. He is a clear number one..

I didn't want to take necessarily clyde edwards helaire in the second round. Even you know. But like getting in the third round of great but derrick henry in the second round whereas i know he will probably out produce almost every running back this year. If he stays healthy people still aren't going to trade for you know like he's not a guy that i'm i'm going out and trying to trade for in other leaks and this goes from saint with coach goes with alvin kamara. I'm not going out and trading three first round picks for those players and that's what the owners kind of think that they should get for him. You know and so i know what the trade values of all these guys are and it's not about who you get on your team. It's about winning requirement. Where you aguire them to me as far as dynasty well-earned less years. Oh it's these guys can be like these guys can be acquired at much. Cheaper costs at all it takes is like you said a little bit of bad information. It comes out a little bit of uh circumstances an injury you know a bad month one bad month for running back. And everybody's gonna say he's done so at his age you know. Twenty two twenty three. He's got a long time to rebuild his value. So it's not a wasted pick but there can definitely one of the best win now picks. I think it was a good pick for the he wants to build a steam. And he i think right now. He's probably got the advantage of winning this year to be honest with you of all teams so foreign suspects while okay. So i'm i'm mixed on the derrick henry because you mentioned age and everything is a big factor in. I know that running backs..

Patrick Mahomes continuing to struggle nine out of 19 for 67 yards. Chiefs 95 penalty yards in that first half again. Still plenty of time. One full half left to go in this game. Patrick Mahomes couldn't complete a ball on third down and seven from the Tampa Bay 34. Harrison Booker came out and hit 52 yard field goal to make it a 21 to 9 Game 12 point game Still more than 26 minutes of time left in this one. Key Super Bowl Matchups: The Case for the Kansas City Chiefs & Tampa Bay Buccaneers Winning Sunday
"The Kansas City Chiefs versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The long road that led us here with many unique twists and turns is a story unto itself. Now, in about 3.5 hours, the game which promises history, the chief's looking to become the ninth team with back to back titles. The Bucks hoping to put 1/7 Super Bowl ring on Tom Brady's hand. I'm Scott Graham. Happy to be back with your four Super Bowl Sunday, and my co host is a man who won two Super Bowls back to back, including an M V P honor for Super Bowl 32. He's an NFL network in Westwood, one analyst, the Hall of Famer, and he's been with us each week on this program all season long. Well, Davis. Welcome aboard. Scott. Man, It is eyes exciting and getting ready for this big game. A man I'll tell you what. When you look at how this one is going to play out, everybody is focusing on the quarterback's rightfully so. But when you start looking at a couple of the individual matchups in this game, there is a lot that ends up coming into play. And one of the things that everybody's been focusing on all week is the fact that the chief's dinged up on the offensive line going with backups there against a really strong past Russian. It Defense for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That seems at least right now to be one that's playing at its peak. Is that the key matchup in your mind? Well, that is one of them. I mean, we look at the Bucks defense and we've seen what they looked like the last couple of weeks and listen. Todd Bowles, Their defensive coordinator, has really got them dialed in. They've gotten after, and Rogers drew Brees and, you know, I think this defense is going to be, you know, formidable when it comes to getting after Patrick Mahomes, but You know, he's such a great quarterback. He's such a guy that can get out of situations that you don't think he could get out off s. Oh, that's gonna be a challenge for this team as well. When you look at it, and from your perspective, especially, I mean a running back a hall of Fame running back and very rarely these days is anybody say, Well, the running game is going to be a really big part of this. It seems like that's becoming an antiquated idea. Can the running game for the chief's help in some way, take away some of the aggressiveness of the Tampa Bay defense? Yeah, I believe so, Scott, because you know all the focus of this game really is gonna be on the chief's weapons, right? You know, you got obviously Tyree Kill Travis Kelsey. Then you have the other guys out there to me, Cole Harmon. And then you have Clyde. That was the lair who last year was an El s. You had a phenomenal national championship game, and I think a game like this is going to bode well for him, because if you're tired of those, you can't double team everybody. Somebody's got to have one on ones. And if you're the bucks, you've got to put more people in coverage. So that's gonna leave a light box for Clyde Edwards. He layer not only running but the short passing game, and I think that Eric the enemy, and Anne Rie will find a way to make this young man have an impact in a game like this. On the other side. Everybody, of course, is focusing on Tom Brady. I mean, he got them here, and he is once again right in the middle of the possibility of winning a super books. 10th visited pressure absurd, absurd. When you look at this team, they've got a whole bunch of weapons as well. Is there one that you focus on the offensive side of the ball for Tampa Bay? That you think might have a bigger impact in this game than another? I do. I think it's actually Leonard for net and not necessarily in the running game. But little has been Really good and their passing game, And I think that kind of matchup between Leonard for Net and the linebacker Damian Will Wilson and Anthony Hitchens from the chief's, because when you start doing that thing where they played in week, 12 Barnett had a decent game, but Ronald Jones caught the ball in the flat and was able to have a long touchdown score from that ball that was thrown into the flat. So no one is talking about that. But I think that again, Hitchens and Wilson is gonna have to have a really good game and not again. It's not with him running with the football. He's been a threat as a receiver, which is something that his game is never had. So I think, you know, Of course. Tom Brady likes to get his backs involved in games like this member James White. He had a phenomenal Super Bowl. So I think later for now is gonna be a guy that's gonna have to have a huge impact. Last thing for this segment does the first meeting have any impact on what we're about to see in a few hours here or is that just research? Yeah, I think you could take some things. Most coaches look at the game and they kind of take The things that sort of worked, you know, everything goes. She kind of just you pick things of a game and say Okay, well, we have success against his team before. You know, we'll try to do it again this time, but maybe we're gonna disguise it a little differently, but run the same kind of plays. So, yeah, I think you there's things that each team can take from that meeting. But, you know, I think it's about who can make those adjustments and going into this game. I think ultimately it's going to be the team that comes out

"O J. I threw this question out, but I do want to know the answer and what you think Which team do you think's going to score first? And who do you think is going to score the first touchdown? All right, this is I hate these. I love these cause that when you're right, you have, like a bragging moment, which you love. What was the name of our favorite football team? Lettered Cornett team. Leonard Cornett, the fighting winner coordinates. He was good service. When I put her on the spot with something I knew you couldn't best that answer. Oh, so that's why I deliver that went to you. That's right. We're the team later for nets, the fighting letter for National Leonard Cornets. We weren't alone. I'm sorry. Excuse me. What corner? Playing off of four nights. Last name US being the Corvette's fit perfectly. Our performance week in and week out was not very good. We didn't make the postseason. And why was that? Because I'm out. I failed to get in our line of small time. Thank you. That's on me own that. I can acknowledge that but going back to it. That's my answer later for that's gonna find the end zone. First, I thought you could do your play's not your not your fantasy lineup. Yeah, I know right since one of them actually makes me like money in the return right there. I don't like the long quite like future plays that much. I don't usually do Those so fantasy football. There's no immediate payout in front of me. It's hard to be disciplined. I'll acknowledge it. I'm also not a big fantasy guy, So I'll also knowledge that too. I am about making money and I'm trying to do it here by telling you, Hlynur Fernet is gonna find the end zone first. I think the Bucks would be to run the football little bit this game and I don't think it's gonna be road, Joe. It's gonna be for net that gets there. And obviously in those positions. It's obviously gonna be Fernet. So Buck score first letter for that fine. Six. Okay, I'm gonna stick with the theme. I'm gonna answer for me. I'm gonna stick with the theme of the run game because I do think the run game is going to play a big part in this matchup today on both sides, But I think more so for Kansas City. I know that offensive line has been shuffled and rearrange, and they've got some issue with the tackle position. But this is just what Andy Reid kind of does like He kind of has that surprise factor like we're all over here thinking that You know, the offensive line is going to be the biggest problem and I'm not. I'm they're going to find a way to figure it out. And I think Clyde Edwards, the layer is gonna have a huge huge part in today's game haven't seen a much The last couple of weeks has been banged up. You only saw him a little bit against the bills, and so now is as good a time as ever. As for Andy Reid and the enemy to kind of throw him into the mix and let him kind of go to work, So I'm going to say it's gonna be Clyde Edwards. He later who's not only going to reach the end zone once. I think he's going to reach the ends on multiple times in this Super Bowl coming up later today, So while we get set for the Super Bowl, we're also getting set for the halftime show. The weekend is the halftime for poor performance for tonight. And there are some classic Super Bowl halftime performances and Jay and I kind of went back and forth on the ones that we love that we remember the most. The weekend is tonight verdict is still out, and if we think it's going to be good or not? But I'll let you take the floor First day. What are some of your favorite halftime performances of Super Bowl pasts? The Prince Prince in 2007 prints, I'm the Prince. Performance Princes performance 2007 Super Bowl in Miami. Purple Rain in the Rain is it was iconic, but it's also his approach to it. His set list he did You know, he did some Jimi Hendrix. He did some Foo fighters. It was just a really cool performance. If you're gonna do it, you should have thrown the challenge that no one you're gonna use a time out anyways. He decided not to Tony. It was handy. Reed, who called the time out, so I'm not sure if he wanted to get a couple more looks out of himself. If he thought maybe Kelsey had gotten a touchdown, which he didn't he was clearly out of bounds. If anything, Kansas City benefited from the spot those so much because he walked all the way down to the goal line. He's right by the official. But right now we've got All the first tight formation trip to the right hand off plowing ahead touchdown. Clyde Edwards, the lair. Takes it in for the score. The Kansas City Chiefs extend their lead. It does not get much easier in that. Forget the spot they could have spotted at the five yard line. Edwards a lair is untouched. Really well blocked, big time blocked by already. "But sounds more like 9 P.m. local time Bass kicks it off after the 51 yard field goal on this is returnable for Hardman working his way to the right side. And that is Pringle, who is angled out of bounds out towards the 35 yard line. So Patrick Mahomes question marks as to how he's gonna handle himself in this situation. Tony last week Divisional round. It was a freak injury. It was not your normal concussion by any stretch some of the crowd artery and, you know Injury. I'd never even heard of on the football field. But I think the bigger injury that everyone's worried about the chief's organizations that perfect from the 35 homes will throw it to Kelsey to the near side cannot break away. Kelsey makes a clean catch. But he gets stuffed by Levi Wallace after a two yard pick up through the year, the most dangerous tight end in the NFL this season. The guy has been dominant six straight 1000 yard seasons. We have the best pass catchers in this game stuff. Hunting's is one Travis Kelsey is number two and four tied in He is like a wide receiver. He could match up against any defender and take him to school. Second down and long. The homes working out of the shotgun line of scrimmage from the 36 handoff running inside towards the left on Clyde Edwards layer back in the lineup will see how much Andy Reid goes to him as he plows that left side. A 40 yard line on afford a half yard games. Fisher Allegretti writer Wiley and Rivers up front for Kansas City. The ultra dangerous Tyree, killing one wide receiver McColl Hardman, the other Sammy Watkins not available. We already mentioned the credentials of Travis Kelsey. Third down and four Kansas City trying to convert here from the left half from the 41 homes down the middle of the field, lost one and it's dropped by Tyree Kale in double coverage along the left side. Hill could not haul it in and it's fourth down. What a great throw by patch from homes. Tyree kills working his name. It's white. It's too, man and so dream today means White knows he has helped over the top, but it's a corner route. Impassable homes, threads the needle into the small hole. That's there and hiring killed just cannot come down with it without it being a big play Tommy towns and cunning no rush high kick. Andre Roberts waiting for the 16 brings it in cleanly and gets hammered immediately. Roberts holds on to the football. Very fortunate. With the hit that he took right away that he did not cough it up. So the bills get it back. Second bull question says Since the 40 Niners aren't involved this year, Who would you like to see win? So one is Who do you think and one is Who do you want to see? All right, So who do you want to see? Win? Buffalo. Green Bay, Kansas City, Tampa Bay. So match up. So the first one is a two team parlay. We gotta pick the Super Bowl combatants for February 7th in Tampa. The other one is just which one do you want to win? Which one is your heart talking? It's because yesterday we talked about the states. And how each state was rooting and 22 of the state's wanted buffalo. I'm doing this all the time. And I think it's right 9 22 exactly 22 to ever love are the Buffalo Bill. They want the bills. And I think was 10 Green Bay, nine Kansas City and somewhat whatever for Tampa, but I knew Buffalo was 22. I know that most people wanted Buffalo. So in the Super Bowl. It's 22 for the Bills, 10 for the chief's 10 for the Bucks and eight Well, that works but buffaloes guys, Buffalo's got the entire Western Wall. All the way from California all the way up into Canada. And they've got the biggest day also have Texas. They've got a entire Great Lakes region. You know, Brady's got a little bit of New England except for Buffalo did win Vermont and then you have It's little pewter in the southeast, and the chiefs have the Midwest. So if I go in electoral college, Mr Schumer The bills in a landslide that they've got the 2 70 here so But it's not going to be a popular vote. That's not the way we're going to pick the winner of this. Not Democratic who gets the championship doesn't work that way. Doesn't work that way. So are you ready to reveal who you would think we'll be in the game? No, because we know, but you could tell you who I want to be in the game. I'm not gonna tell you who I think. Well, Tom Spencer is going to join us from CVS. He's the right hand man of Jim Nansen, Tony Rome. Oh, he's in a meeting right now. With Andy and Home ages. Gonna plague Clyde Edwards a layer It looks like he's going to play and that's a huge part. Their running game and I think they're going to try to run the ball a little bit on Buffalo and I agree with Greg. You should want to do it a slow death and if they keep running it Then they're not likely to, you know, score 40, but they could and you know, but they struck out state of the art passing. We'll find.

"Don't still we're off today. Jesse Rogers. Conner McKnight kind of scared of sex. Brian Hanley will join him in four. Good football conversation. Just a great weekend. A football counters. We talked about the top of the show. Great quarterback play Man's Aaron Rodgers. Just Wow. Is he flinging it? Like an all pro that he is, and obviously the big news about my homes as the week goes on, but I think we all agree some way. Somehow he's going to play my your agreement right? More homes is gonna play. I'd even I've seen some tweeting about my Holmes's issue actually being ah, pinched nerve that that caused some problems for him in that game. I know that there's gonna be some reporting coming out of there about exactly what my home's does or doesn't have going on. But I I'm with you. I think he plays I think to like Jesse, I think maybe more needs to be said about Chad Henne as as the as the backup quarterback who made 34 gutsy plays on gutsy calls from a I thought he was gonna have a concussion when he went. Don't for that first down. Did you think he I thought he had it? Yeah, I thought I mean, I thought he had it now. Sure down. I thought he had the first time I thought he had a concussion and then and then he goes for it again. You know, just to have that kind of like commanding the granted. You know, every time every time we talk about this way, let island the show with with some of this stuff. I can't help watch playoff games. Not filter it back through. What we've seen of the Chicago Bears what we've seen of that system. What we've seen of the capability of those players. Sure it's different. Like when you have chat, any making plays, and you've got the backfield that Kansas City does, even without Clyde Edwards, a layer and you've got, you know, Tyreke and all those guys all those weapons available to you. You had a backup quarterback come in and make three stone cold plays two of them on fourth down to win a ball game, and there's there's trust. There's guts. There's moxie. They're all those kinds of things. I just don't know a whole lot of other franchises who have the trust. And that guy on the roster to make those kind of calls, And I think Andy Reid deserves a hell of a lot of credit for doing what he did and coming out on top. It's just great leadership there and we've been talking about to shine Watson and just how much it's going to hurt to see him traded and Bears missed out a second time time on him because that's inevitable. Bora. We're also doing some baseball this hour, and Kevin wants to talk some cubs from Minneapolis. You're on ESPN. 1000. Kevin, What's on your mind? Jesse loved the show. I just had a quick question. So I ran article today that the Cubs right now if they had their peril for 2022 would have the lowest fare on the N L. Central. Among all the teams do you think that's gonna happen? And when do you think they'll start spending money again? I'll hang up and listen. Thanks, guys. I mean, obviously, it's just they don't have a lot of commitments. Maybe is what that article said. I don't know, but I don't know if they're gonna have the lowest payroll. In 2020, right. There's a lot that has to go on between now and then, with all the teams in the division Your first your second questions, even heart whether they're gonna spend again. It's not gonna be this offseason it start with that. We know that they want to shed more if they can. I don't suspect they're gonna You know, go nuts next offseason, either. I mean, I think it's gonna be a slow retool they certainly I think they'll spend more next offseason this this off season and then more than next top season. After that, I think they're sort of bottoming out, so to speak. This offseason. Um, but it could extend a while. I don't know for sure. Now, I don't think anybody knows for sure. I don't think Jed knows for sure what he's going to spend again. But it's not anytime real soon. It terms of what they were spending before, which was like 200 million type stuff, So they had their fun. Now you got to kind of wait for it to regroup and wait for them to regroup and sort of bring this thing back. You know, it's some of the problems of their own making. Is that, of course, But is that spending trend? That's force is that strong enough to stop any conversation? About an extension with a guy like Contreras buyers, but you I mean, you know the names. I don't have to go through the ball it is caused those it has caused those conversations. Think e mean, If you want to own a baseball team and do business, you're going to have to pick up on those converse it. You can't just do nothing. So I think it's paused them, but I think it's also. Yeah, if you're was to get Trish you a little bit more nervous than you were before the pandemic. If your hobby bias little bit But at some point they'll pick those back up. You just may not hear the numbers that you want to hear. I mean, they were very close. Very close. I think to signing Harvey buys before the shutdown. So for that to go completely for that to disappear, completely Shame on the Cubs that that happens. So I do think it. Maybe it's delayed it, but they will pick up some of those conversations. But let's let's put it this way. They're not re engaging with Kris Bryant for huge, huge money. The most. We can seize. Well, they were close with fires will get back with him. But you know, I don't see anything else moving anytime soon. Well, then you're in. You're in Nick's situation where I mean, I guess I guess the way I kind of look at the Cubs is Regardless of how you got here. You're here now, right? And it means that at the deadline assuming we have AH, somewhat normal baseball season, you know, covert accepted. Somewhere around the deadline. You're taking a look at whatever expiring contracts are performing best. Been trading them because that's kind of the path you've set out. So even if that means that the guy you were closest to an extension on hobby bias If he's playing the best out of those guys that are you know that that group that core that we've been attached to for 45 years now. You're moving hobby by it because that's what's being dictated to you by the circumstances around you and I It's unfortunate, but no baseball team really wants to be in a situation where circumstances dictate your the skill you're able to acquire, as opposed to you being able to dictate those things..

"I knew this was gonna happen. Assumes that came out of my mouth. I said, damn, it looks, you know, but you know, I'm not gonna be the one that's gonna be Twitter. Is that English? What does this mean? That's gonna push people. E mean. Why do you think people call me see? Which is like now? We can't find that You can't get it wrong way. Just got a lot of names. Did you botch Zuba? You'd be surprised. Nobody. Nobody gave Kitty mess when he messed up on on Clyde Edwards Later. I did see you see, he said too many names. It got out of that you didn't You kept going. You just wanted to go away. Let's get out of it. You just keep going on like it didn't happen. Those people. Jeez, we knew he and then, of course, we knew who you guys are The worst as we go from a to Z. Here's an unmistakable name that all sports fans know that would be one. Mickey Mantle as we go from H is E here, Mickey Mantle $5.2 Million to sail the Mickey Mantle baseball card. 5.2 million. Dollars. She looks like this is has the art. This is how our crew tried to do us wrong this morning. I'm reading the notes and I'm like, Oh, yeah, This is worth $5.2 million keys Card on Amazon were $2 Jay's card on Amazon with a dollar 50. That's what I'm trying to get. My card That's worth $2 is probably a card that they do play the 18 million times. But I'm not spending well, I guess this article, right? Yeah, familiar. It's artists and investment. They put it away and it goes up. I'm not a collector, Zubin. So, you know, it just sounds absurd. But I guess that's a collector's items. Probably the only one in the world. Zubin Sports cars Right now are one of the hottest things out there in business like it is booming. These cards. It's one of those things where it's like it's retro. What's old is new again. We're all over the age where he kind of remember. We're like baseball card. Collecting was a thing If you're Like a millennial. Now you're like what in the world you're talking about, But it was a big thing back in the day. Yeah, five to it's got to be art. That's the only thing I'm just saying. That's the way I would justify it and that no offense to the fellas because they had great athletic careers, and I just watched them but think about it. The shipping and handling on a key or J card is more expensive than the car. Shipping in the handle is noted, but you're not going then I won't let you do that to me. Zoom in because the card that they refer referring to represent got to be a card that was made 10 times over. I'm not going out like that. There enough. So if you have a cold blooded Zuman, that's what you do know that I'm marking that one down a lot of shots being fired today on this show. $2. Yeah, You are right, right? Jay, You got work to do your 50 cents behind him. That's what my name is Second on the show's over and I get it. All right. Here we go. J. This is important. This is right up your alley, The Nets, the MBA and what's gonna be happening with this huge story? Sean marks the team's GM addressing the Kyrie Irving Absence. What's going on here is the GM, and then we'll get Jay's reaction. They're completely separate from one another. I'm you know, carries absence, and you know the personal issues that he's doing with. It has nothing to do with us going after and attaining James Harden and this regarding Kyrie, and when he when he'll be hopefully back and rejoining the team. Part of that is enough the MBA and we're waiting for them to come out with, so they're ruling on the health and safety protocols. Hopefully, we'll have a ruling soon. You know, I have talked to Kyrie, so I know he's excited about getting back on the court. With his teammates a soon as possible and just to get your wondering if you don't know And, you know, sometimes you see these guys on TV Sean Marks has that Australian New Zealand background. So that's where the James Hot and games harden. What do you think? Here? J. So the GM is waiting. It's a win win for the Nets right now. And so when one position and your position is this, If Cary decides to come back and be a part of this team, you would think that James Harden them going out in acquiring him would get the attention of Carrie that we can do it now we're going to surround all the pieces. Get this thing done. If he comes back, great If he doesn't if he chooses not to issues continue, then you have to do with that. But now you have James Harden and Kevin Durant on the same team like that. That is still a recipe for success in the Eastern Conference. I'm not saying that gets you over the hump to beat the Lakers in the finals, but, man, it gives you a legit shot. I think I think I really sit back and assess the situation and he'll be back in the fold. How could you not right? Do you want to miss out on the party? You don't wanna miss out on the party? You wanna be a part of it? You don't want to be the reason that they don't make it. You wanna be the reason and be a part of why they make you From a macro sense, Jane. Once again, the Nets will be back on the floor tomorrow night at the Barclays Center will take on Orlando. You know Sean marks. I mean the acquisition of Kevin Durant, the acquisition of James Harden. It has been an incredible run for what he's been able to do it now dealing with the Kyrie controversy. I mean, you want to talk about having your hands full, really incredible what he's been able to do, but also What's in front of them right now, I gotta tell you, though, Known Sean for a while, Shawn sees a lot of things before they happen. I think that's one of his super powers. And I know that Sean spent time thinking about how to react to carry When these issues or something like this potentially comes up, and I think this far the way he's had to manage those personalities, strong personalities. I will give him a pretty good grade now. Whether that trickle down effect how that continues to blossom offensively with Steve Nash and Mike D'Antoni. That's something that we're gonna be watching throughout the entire year. Mm. And that's something to keep tabs on to J brought it up yesterday. But the fact that you've got a first year coach that granted is the two time M v P but has never actually been a coach having to manage all of these personalities and then having his right hand man, his old coach. To be able to go and ask advice from is just a fascinating situation all the way around and again. Life with Harden begins tomorrow night. We'll see if he's you in uniform and carry. Hopefully back next week. It all begins tomorrow at home against the Orlando Magic were presented by progressive insurance. All of our guests on the Goodyear hotline, including Bill Parcells. Coming your way a M, Eastern time on the way..
