All kinda <Speech_Male> fall to the lakers based <Speech_Male> on the talent <Speech_Male> at the very top <Speech_Male> their big three. <Speech_Male> Although there's <Speech_Male> a lot of adjustments they're going to <Speech_Male> have to happen there and they've turned <Speech_Male> over the entire roster around <Speech_Male> lebron ad. <Speech_Male> But <Speech_Male> if there's any <Speech_Male> slip. They're <Speech_Male> like that next group. <Speech_Male> Like if it's not the lakers <Speech_Male> the will then it's <Speech_Male> who does a <Speech_Male> really hard question to answer <Speech_Male> because <Speech_Male> denver utah <Speech_Male> phoenix. <Speech_Male> Maybe even the clippers <Speech_Male> who <Speech_Male> we don't know if when <Speech_Male> kawais coming back when <Speech_Male> moore is coming back <Speech_Male> there's so much <Speech_Male> parody in <Speech_Male> the next group of <Speech_Male> four or five <Speech_Male> and then there's another group below <Speech_Male> them that's competitive <Speech_Male> like it really <Speech_Male> is tough do <Speech_Male> you. "I'm not giving you guys any more time to get more players to play with me. I'm lee but he had. He had patients. I had lemon have years as a lot of patients make about it. So so bill. The team but the drought. Did you a little loyalty a little patients. But don't let it ruin your entire career is what i would say. Good advice you get to see. How much input did you have on your destination back then. A lot of input on houston is where i'm from That's the only place. I would have gone because one they were good. They had won the championship in ninety four. They had a little discord on their team. I knew they really wanted me. And so that that played a part in it You know when you want it and then they know you can make a difference and luckily things worked out with. Went back wanna championship right away. Two years later we got berkeley and that was a whole other era. So if you could if you had the latitude back then that guys have now and part of this is just shorter. Contracts part of it. The contracts are so just stupidly ridiculously rich that you can afford take some chances and maybe even sacrifice a year of guaranteed money like i have a lot of freedom and on various levels. If you could have back then said you know what in the summer of ninety three. I'm forming my own team in free agency. Some other guys are you could do what lebron bosh and wade did back in the day like who. Would you have formed your your hypothetical super team with a great question. I mean so many great players today. But i think you have to have some entanglement. You can't be up front runner but but you know just think about all the great players of that time would have been easy to get together and say hey guys. Let's go put the team together and try to win. But that's not the way the game should be played. I mean these franchises invest a lot of money and selecting the personnel. And if they select you. They have full faith and confidence in youth. They select you. I you should give them everything you have. I truly believe that now. The don't let him ruin your entire career if they don't put good pieces of is their job to try to put good pieces around you and everyone knows it's easy to see you know if you've got to have a chance to win or not. I remember one year. I'm in portland. And this is just one instance. And i'm sure they had good intentions. But i'm we're playing against the lakers. In the first round of the playoffs. I think nineteen eighty six or seven. One can remember that far back our but they had four five number one picks on their team korean magic worthy michael townsend and probably make it. And then you have guys. Like michael cooper barscott. Ac green on their team all these great plants right. I i got three guys. Ten day contracts on my team colwell jones. I get omaris lucas. As like how how we having. So you know. Instances like that. And that's when you go. Hey guys you gotta get some talent here. You know those things happen though. But that's why talent and management management is everything when you got good management. Those players will stay if you got incompetent management year after year. You may make mistakes but year after year after year..

"Golf if you put him on some think about it if he plays a mckay all in parish dj age. I think he will do small for just mid range this bird. I believe if you put him take play with magic and korean with bows rampers. How would he do just switch them worthy berta dominate would be equally as fantastic if not and so. That's the way i look at it. Did he commanded double team. Yes they we gave plan to stop him every night and still could. Yes so that was the obvious snub in and then it was. It's funny how many people like it seems almost universal agreement about that except apparently among the people who voted for the team that left him on them off. So what do you think you think. It was simply their lack of postseason success. That held him back then because everybody agrees now that he should have been on. He said he should have been. That's a no brainer. Quick but i think a lot of times when you put up numbers on a bad team people just do you as a bloody counter. But had he had better players he will do the same thing and he would fit in because he's a winner. I mean you have to be there you have to know but if you look at his stats he was always competitive back back then but he played philly and boston with the toast of the east but atlanta was always a team that was threatening walk in atlanta and so give him credit for being a winner and he elevated his team. He's just didn't have enough talent around it like back there we could say. I'm just going to go play with lakers. 'cause i think i can get a ring. We that wasn't hurt back there. The jenner bandages made those decisions while so while we're still discussing the fifty versus seventy five so one way of doing this was take the fifty s gospel keep it and then just add twenty five more from the twenty five years since then although it's not even twenty five years more like thirty something because there are guys who had only been in the league. A couple years shack was the only one who got in with only like four years experience. That was controversial at the time. But so you've got this whole span of decades of all these players so one way. Keep the fifty. And now you've got way too many guys to jam down to that final twenty-five or you reopen it and you say you know what top fifty is not sacrosanct. You can you can knock some guys off. Did you go into it open. Mind like that. I'm gonna construct seventy five from scratch or did you look at those already. Given including of course clyde drexler who you could not vote for How'd you how'd you handle it or we'll howard. I did the latter scratchy. I started from nothing. And you want the seventy five best players. Regardless of what error they played in whoever was dominant in the era. I gave them credit. You know anybody who was in era would be dominant in today's game. Maybe even better because the rules are so relaxed. Think about it. There's no hand check those guys this with two hands on it to and checking our one hand checking in elbow so these guys who really tough real plans and so you know the the.

Well a great question as one of five ambassadors a of the nba seventy fifth anniversary. It's a tremendous honor and and all five ambassadors really represent different eras of nba right. It's a it's an honor to be selected one of them. I don't know if i have any immunity privileges working on it. All the movies right if the ambassador license plates like the law enforcement can't touch you you can park wherever you want. They can't give your parking. That would be great if that's what this comes with love to have one of those ways to get anywhere. Nobody's hey we're working on that that's a great idea. How thank you. this is what i'm here for. I think that that's the impotence of everybody wanted to be a rock stars to grow in front of thousands of people and The guitars cranked up and swing and sweat and all that stuff and it's always great. I love you know for me, you know, design and stages and all that's fun into the lighting's show and all that's fun and Fans get a kick out of that first and foremost thing for me. Is it sound great. I want everything to sound as great as I could make it sound. I want it to sound. It's close to the record as I could get it to sound and have the energy and Excitement. Everybody wants nothing. What you have to do is you have to walk out there. And there's a sort of a son spoken contract between you and the audience that you're just gonna both sort of. Submit to this conducive environment. This'll Week in 1996, the NFL and Cleveland allows Art Modell to move his NFL friend call strong bills, the most comfortable call you ever made. Yes. Hello. Hi. It is your morning ritual. With me. Gary Lewis can s t a m 7 92 sons most stimulating talk. There are three things I think you need to know. Brought you by strong bill plumbing, air and solar. And, of course, the good old number one. Is that Dr Teresa calling the Pima County? What is she again? Liar! Is she the liar in chief? She the health director, Anti Health director, Pima County Child abuser. She literally contradicts herself again as to why the virus numbers are dropping here in Pima County. She criticized you three weeks ago. And now, she says, you are the reason the numbers are going down. We'll get to all that in just one second. Second thing that I think you need to know. Um And, uh, this I like this a lot. Actually, let's look, let's look at the latest numbers from the China virus. This is a big deal. The latest numbers, and I just tweeted amount all stick up. I'll make a page of my cane issue dot com to just for today. We have had a 51% drop. In hospitalizations of China virus patients in Arizona since January 11th. That was the peak We had 5082. Now we're down to twenty five hundred seven. We had 1183 ICU beds on January 11th and use Now we're down to 7 19. That is a 39% drop. And now the divide is growing 47% of ICU beds in Arizona are being used by non covert patients. And just 40%. Vice you bedroom being used by Hold it. Patients. We have 13% available. The emergency is over. It's over, right like this. Let's go. Come on. Live life. Third thing that I think you need to know eyes that Joe Biden Is looking at Banning travel to Florida and other parts, saying the variance of the China virus are just too dangerous. Meanwhile, there's literally no scientific evidence that they are. But it could be dangerous so we might might have to stop flights to Florida. Do you want it? So it was it was racist in his mind to banned flights from China, But he wants to stop Americans from flying to a free state with a guy that probably Lee President 2024. Round two Santas. How about them apples? It's too dangerous for us to fly, but I'm gonna stop the construction of the border wall. And I'm gonna stop the remaining May he co policy. I'm gonna call for amnesty for more Democrat voters. So you're coming in from hot spots where the variants are. South America. Come on up. We'll let you right in. But you Americans screw you. Screw you. Right? Gonna make you suffer. You don't want to see freedom, and I meant to talk about this before we get to Theresa Cullen, the Delta CEO was interviewed. About the idea that Pete but a judge, a judge and dementia Joe we're talking about I don't need to mention Joe was people workers. Joe doesn't know how to talk about the idea of having to show you are I have a negative China virus test to get on a flight domestically. And the the Delta Airlines CEO thought that was a horrible idea. A horrible idea. He said. First, it would take resource is away from sick people because it would divert about 10% of the country's already scarce testing resource is And he said, I think mandating a negative covert test for every domestic flyer is a horrible idea. Said. Airline travel numbers They're starting to grow again, which we like to see. And then you know, travel domestically. The airport transportation system is the safest form of transportation. Again. Why do you've to prove it? Have there been? We haven't had to prove that yet. Have you heard of a lot of people getting the China virus on planes? Is I haven't right. Democrats just want to control everything in our lives. So you might be nervous about it. You never know with these stupid Democrats. Comey's like Pete, but a judge may do and I get that. You know, you just you just never know..

"Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant play game in MJ's last all star game Kobe's first all star game is a nineteen year old the locker room talk was interesting all the background on the agent getting a deal with Nike and the air Jordans the Mars Blackmon Spike Lee commercial that was awesome the whole beginning of be like Mike the Tony crew coach games at the Barcelona Olympics in nineteen ninety two the flash back to Clyde Drexler and the Blazers in the ninety two finals all of that I do you want to talk about at some point because I think there's some really interesting stuff in there also no matter what else errors from this point forward episode five will always be my favorite episode of its documentary and I will explain why it moving forward well what I thought was really poignant about episodes five and six and it really started at the end of episode five but episode six shone a spotlight on the heavy price and the responsibility that come with the type of fame that Michael Jordan had has but really at the height of his basketball career he was as recognizable as any figure on this planet he and the president of the United States and maybe in some cases more recognizable depending upon the age group and yet you can see in nineteen ninety eight through this season that was actually documented with the camera crew the heavy weight of fame the obligations the responsibilities the phrase was be like Mike and yes despite him flashing the pearly whites and the Gatorade commercial and ends the implication that everyone wanted to be like Mike because his life was unlike any other behind closed doors what was he talking about getting away having the followers of his hotel room not having to deal with the obligations of the responsibilities not having to deal with prying eyes and nonstop questions end what else comes with fame edit it doesn't have to be his level of fame it comes with having a public platform anyone and everyone tells you how to live your life I'm not famous not even close but the public figure that I am does yet now Michael Jordan have social media during his time but everyone wanted to tell him how to live his life I experienced that in the beginning when I first started with social media that was the most annoying part everyone giving me advice and telling me what I should do and what I should do when social media is only a snapshot of who I am and most of its because of work people assume they know you because they hear from you or because they see what you put out there on social media but as Michael Jordan said repeatedly over the course of these two episodes on Sunday night nobody knows Michael Jordan you don't spend five minutes with the guy or any guy or gal and know that person you don't know that person because you see him play basketball you don't know that person because you'll spend a few hours with them and what do you say in in in a really I think really powerful moment in which he was tired he was exhausted mentally was worn out physically he said people say they want to be like Mike for a day for a week that's not being like Michael Jordan if you really knew what it was like to be like Michael Jordan you wouldn't want to you wouldn't want this I mean that's coming from the guy who seemingly had it all but yet couldn't get away from the prying eyes and the nonstop questions and everyone weighing in about his life and telling him what to
