"So like, you know, he's not striking out a number last year. He was when he when he was up where an issue with him seems like they're down eight just a high contact guy. So man, I I love gunfighter looks like he's going to be bisque are Clinton hitter for a while. Right. I think I mean glare probably will be around there to actually you know, what I wouldn't hate when Gary back on Wednesday. The see something like Voight to Clint three Gary four labor five. Yeah. And then you have garner. Lemay who leading off I go. I'm always gonna go to. Yeah. And then maybe. Yeah. Probably DJ boy. Yeah. Gary Clint gleyber Clark. I go Clint Gary. Clint Gary maybe. Yeah. Whatever I mean nowadays, a huge deal either way, I don't know personal preference. But I mean, that's a terrible. That's not a bad a lot of by any means. And then you have Giancarlo that hopefully soon there's not actual strong report on him. But they said that he's going to be traveling with the team, which is great. And then Hicks is probably a little behind that by a few weeks behind that. But hopefully, we get our are dead friends back a little sooner than later should be feeling. So good right now, they should be eleven and then finally over five hundred well clip Frazier other guys stepping up Gary coming back from Carlo not far behind him. Just how Luzerne judge. It's just the worst thing that could happen. Yet any concerns with people starting to like do think we're gonna start hearing that are in judges injury prone. That's so stupid. He hit the fucking risk by a pitch last year. And then this is his first legitimate like injury will the shoulder by I am with you. I 'cause the shoulder never missed any time. But he did have the shoulder during twenty seventeen now. And last year was a fluke. I mean, you get hit by a pitch. This is I agree. I'm with you. I just think we're gonna start to see that. It's going to be all this guy. Six seven to eighty is. Can you just not stay healthy? I agree with you. I think he's athlete enough where it's not an issue by wannabes prize. If those take start to fly out a little bit if he didn't break his wrist last year on that fluke pitch, you you wouldn't even be thinking about talking with that right now. Right. Which completely throws the argument out because that wasn't his fault last year. Just got hit by fucking fastball in the risks. And Michael was today. How like his training in the offseason is all that flexibility and like being in the best shape possible to. Baseball's just weird sometimes where the shit just happens. Yeah. So I mean, it's a bad injury to have these going to be probably my guess would be don't see him in the second half for the way everything. So that makes me wanna cry that legitimate makes me wanna cry. Yeah. I think it's a full two months. You see seem in the second half. And it'd be like we someone dimensioned tweeted at me or GM, but the second half is going to be like we traded for like a guys. If everyone comes back like if they're able to just keep a flow. And granted I mean, they want five six six nine and a pretty good home stand here if they can just stay afloat that second half when you get Severino where you get back. I don't know vanderhall be back by that. If he if he takes a longer if he does come back seems everything's out from this point. And then you get to eat on the geo. Fuck even de de de do you get in the second half? You have the potential to be getting back Aaron judge diga goriness Luis Severino and Dell Matanzas and an end Har, we don't know..

"Why do you get away the majority stake in all your partnerships and smiling because everybody wants to do business with me? In a third Clint, Gary and Michael Ventura talk about how to get the most value out of your employees by taking time to understand them. I and leaving your ego at the door. Have you ever played sports? We sportsperson growing up. Absolutely. I'm about. Okay. So your trainers that you worked with right? You've probably worked with a couple of them over the years with the best ones that you worked with probably took the effort to understand you. And the way you learn before they started just laying on drills. Right. So when I was coming up played a lot of different sports. Right. And the coaches that got the best me knew that I wasn't going to be the best performer for them by drilling into the ground. It was going to be pulling me aside and saying when you drop step you're creating leverage, and they would explain the logic behind the coaching. And then I would work for those guys. But at other guys in my team who needed to run suicides for twenty five minutes because I was the only way they were going to get motivated if they didn't get something. Right. And you are now a coach, right? You are now someone who's got to go put that message out into all of these different people's minds. It's not one size fits all. You have to customize that for the people you're talking to the way the way a graphic designer might hear you is going to be very different than the way tiger for. Here's you because they work in different ways. And you have to make an effort to at least. Start to build some archetypes of who they are. And what they want to hear from and then cater it. So we'll Michael's talk about there has to be empathy. It's a business to business relationship. And I think if you understand the the beat of beat a c part of this it can really unlock something for you. So no question the thing that I most enjoyed watching my creative team. That's sitting around me right now. Learn for me as you get another at-bat tomorrow. I think one of the biggest mistakes that someone like you on paper could make is you've a vision in your head, and whether you could job coaching or not or let's say you crushed it and the designer went somewhere else. Maybe you totally understood how she worked. But she missed the Mark. Here's the thing. You have to understand that she missed the Mark based on only your point of view in your hair, which may which may or may not be right? Meaning I don't get any great feelings from when I tell the team to edit something which is not often if then does well or doesn't I would tell us being young in the process. Don't why don't you. Let them just do it like to me. It's ego. That's getting in your way, because why don't you to see what happens versus you know, that it should have been gold. And this font or should have been thirteen seconds later. You're if you're building a brand around you and this whole thing this is a forever game. So I think people people over think like one video one post kill them. So raj. Thank you so much for listen to mash Gary's business, contact tweet us what you thought at Gary v on Twitter. "When you're an employee within the organization the best way to get trust often is to pander to the judgment of senior leadership which oftentimes or potentially at times, doesn't align with your actual point of view. So one of the interesting things about that is you could die on your sword and share your points of view authentically and from your truth, which may rub senior leadership the wrong way. And then that won't help you win within that organization, but it will help you win with some of the smartest people within that organization. In case, they go to other places in the future. Or if you just want to roll up and grow within a company politics is not very complicated. Spent a lot of time listening and pay attention to what what the bosses are talking about and care about and ladder up into that. That would have never worked for me. But I have a lot of empathy white works for many. Those are two ways to look at it you dine your actual truth sword. And then you win outside the company went executive thought, you were smart and goes to another company or you try to pander within it, and you kind of bite your tongue and move up within it. That's your choice. You clearly know where I stand. In the third. Clint Gary it gives advice with CEO who wants employee's to care as much as he does about his business. Now that we're twenty to twenty five people is not only me to that. My hardest thing is at two AM when I'm writing on my whiteboard the plan and strategy cash. Everything's ironclad. But when I walk into the office. Not every other twenty people are excited. Well, they shouldn't be they're not making as much 'economics. But you're they need them. Well, then you need to take a step back and realize that you work for them, not they work for you. This is the great struggle that people have to taking things to a hundred five hundred billion a lot of people have the actual energy ambition fortitude talent to go from zero to ten twenty thirty forty fifty. They really do I genuinely believe you can build a fifty million dollar revenue business on sheer will. I lived it. When more humans are involved, you have to turn into a leader and a CEO, and that is a very different thing than being the practitioner in the same way that I'm popular I'm going to build a very big business because I'm a very good manager of people because I don't ever require them or hold them to an expectation that's unrealistic based on the ideology of my selfish ambition. The other thing that people don't understand is everyone's driven by different shit, take every single person you ably five I'm nine hundred eighty like I wish I had twenty twenty-five take twenty five people to breakfast, lunch and dinner. It would literally take you one week and sit down with them for an hour and a half and starts a conversation of what do you want out of this job money? Cool. I'll start working on it. You're eighty K. You wanna make one hundred cool. Yes. 'cause you're actually killing it or maybe you don't have the money to do that. Okay. Let's get together in one hundred days here to things radical candor, which I struggled with because I'm positive. Hey, here's what I think. You're good at. Here's what I think you're bad at here's how you can get one hundred next person, bro. I need some more work life balance. I fell in love with this way. I love them. And I'm working fifteen hours a day just need. I just need half day on Friday and you're working to two o'clock. And I don't want you to think I don't give a fuck. Cool. You got that Sally next. You will shit. What will happen? If you listen for an hour and a half. You wanna talk about people being fired up. Don't get fired up real quick. Thank you guys so much for listening to this podcast.
