"Smartest doing. Three and a half. It's the one that I'm boost in for the weekend. All right. Let's get to the show. This morning I woke up to information that covid outbreak in the Indianapolis Colts facility initial reports were saying that it wasn't players. It was just personnel turns out that that was not true either the initial reports should not have said that because the colts we're not releasing who anybody was that had a positive coverted test I called my sore setting. Nablus. And I, asked, is this a lot of people were what in are these players in that person told me well, I'm not allowed to tell you who it potentially was because of whatever and I was like. someone's GonNa find out at some point might as well just tell me they can't do it, and then I said how many it a lot and they said, what do you consider a lot and I said how no a lot it may said less than five and I was like, okay, that's not that's not a lot. Then by the way, it's less than five that's on a lot. Then about twenty minutes after that conversation came out, doesn't fucking matter all false positives. All false positives have come into the Indianapolis colts facilities less than five. Who knows how many was was it? Was a personnel we don't know but we do know is that this could have happened on a Saturday or on a Sunday in really change a lot of things because although this happened on, I would assume Thursday test for a Friday morning work day. The interesting thing about it here is they were told not to come into the facility they were told we're going to do zoom calls all day they were told that. We have to wait to see if the second test comes back positive as well or if these are false positives in if this was to happen on a Saturday and Sunday, was gain day in the team had already traveled to Indianapolis where the game, what do they do? Then who cares doesn't happen and maybe we'll have down the road. The colts have this official statement earlier this morning, we were informed that four individuals. Okay. This less than five, and we should learn that by the way whenever somebody gives us information are literally they are they're selling that information as good as possible. For, individuals within the organization tested positive for Covid Nineteen, the four positive samples were retested in have been confirmed negative after consultation with the NFL and chief medical officer Dr Allen Sills. The team will practice facility this afternoon under the league's intensive protocol, and we'll continue preparation for Sunday's game against Joey be the Cincinnati bengals. So that means now fast Friday will be moved to the afternoon which I'm sure all players love but this. Year, you can't really man or be upset about absolutely anything. They're going to do the entire day virtually and I would assume that the four people that tested positive were pretty important to the operation because they were. So hush on who it was. Now they're spas that we do. I. Guess We just move on and act like nothing happened because. So what now what nobody's going to care that they potentially had to miss one day? A. Practice, which is Friday, which is your least workday. Now, they got to kill on and get ready for the Cincinnati. Bengals. I. Was a little bit upset about the possibility fill rivers not being able to play catch with his players because it seems like on a regular basis, he's been playing catch with the other teams players and we need every single day at practice but Titan showed us anything for these professional athletes it does. Not Matter in cove inside effect might be that they get better at football I was going to hammer the colts after that. Now that it's all false positives I'm going to have to reconsider what got going on 'cause minus eight is a lot of points. This is just another distraction and distract filled year for the NFL and for the colts, they'll figure out how to get through it but I do believe where they sabotage possibly. IS A. Annoying definitely. But what I don't like living in this is feel good. Friday. What if that happens Sunday morning? What if that happens on a Monday morning? Not Tuesday. What happens if there is supposed? To be completely candid. I thought the false positive thing was done like I thought we're no longer dealing with that. I thought the testing had gotten. So advanced at this point that we're in a good spot because if false positives are happening for the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL, which I would assume are paying a lot of money for high end test. Well. How many other false positives going on? Oh, I don't want to get into it because it is Good Friday but I mean this questions everything and I hope they get it figured out and I'm thankful that Nobody Indianapolis Colts Organization was you know potentially breaking protocols in trying to bring down the entire league like another team was potentially trying to do that we talk about because they came out and boat race the buffalo bills entire operation big show today big show today in the First Hour. We have Josh CRIBS. He's joining us in about twenty two minutes Josh Cribs, Potential Hall of fame returner for the Cleveland Browns I played alongside him at the Indianapolis. Colts. Awesome legendary human obviously the Cleveland browns play the Pittsburgh steelers this weekend other than the packers bucks which everybody's excited about obviously because two goats are taking each other on and the quarterback position this dealers browns game has massive implications to talk about the steelers things. As opposed to just cribs Cleveland Browns side of things Ramon foster former offensive line for the Pittsburgh steelers who was in the game last year by the way when myles Garrett took Mason Rudolph helmet off his head and hit him in the head with his own helmet on national television while securing a dub for the Cleveland browns Pittsburgh steelers Ben Rothlisberger by the way, here's a stat that came out this morning. Good morning football's. A. K. Adams I believe she said Oh yeah. Ben Rothlisberger Twenty three to one or something like that. Against the browns twenty, three, two in one against the browns the last sixteen games the Cleveland browns had in Pittsburgh they have lost. So if you're a stats person, we live in analytics world I mean we live in a stats world it does feel as if the odds are stacked against the Cleveland browns especially now that Ben Rothlisberger is all the way back that defensive line is unbelievable although the Cleveland browns have kind founded an identity and their foreign one for the first time. What in forever whatever that feels like a team, the steelers that are just waiting in anticipation for this weekend and if you listened to Mike Tomlin talking he's at Hey. Taught the kitchen, the AFC north. They very much understand that this is a massive game not only because the Pittsburgh Cleveland rivalry has been one for a long long time whenever you grow up in Pittsburgh, you're told that Cleveland is the mistake on the lake. Your told that Cleveland stinks you're told that even the worst city of all time digs in my life all true ultra nick in my line. Now not lying, Nick. He's not lying. It's a real thing if you grew up in Pittsburgh and that would assume the same thing happens in Cleveland and this goes back way before I was born. This goes back way before digs is born the browns and steelers used to be a historic rivalry. Then Cleveland browns just left they went over to Baltimore. See You later then Cleveland Browns fans which are very loyal die hard fan base kind of lost. Their way they didn't know what to do browns come back. Here we go eight each other again but since they've come back, it hasn't really been anything special when it comes browns steelers rivalry and I want to city of Cleveland House, like this place is really nice..

"The I heart radio app Mo Kelly in for Bill, and if you were listening just a few moments ago, Jennifer Jones Lee Gave us the news of the passing of Carl Reiner and I have to just say it took me a while just to sift through all of his. I am D B credits from an actor's standpoint from a writer standpoint, producer rectory even all these things that I'd forgotten that he was also in. He was a jewel of some six or seven decades. An American comedy in all sorts of ways, And sometimes they say, you know, we'll never see the likes of so and so again. Well, we we won't You don't have someone who was as prolific as call Reiner who I had forgotten that he was in so many of the movies if you could Jennifer Johnson run down some list of Oh, yeah, I was just telling you that I was reading on T M Z. So some of the ones that I had forgotten definitely. Hey, was S O. Let's see. Other hits include directing Oh God, with George Burns. The jerk with Steve Martin. Dead Men don't wear plaid. How about directing credits for Summer rental Summer school that old feeling with Bette Midler sibling rivalry with Kirstie Alley and Carrie Fisher, 2.5 men he was actually on hot in Cleveland House. He was in Ocean's 11. Ocean's 13. I mean, and that's just scratching the surface. How can you be that funny for about 70 years? I'm being serious. You could talk about the people that he worked with. But no one has been that prolific consistently with no disrespect to anyone else, But no one can say yes, I was funny in the 40. 50. 60. 70. 80 94,000 ten's all way up. Well, you know, there's one There's at least one person who can say that, and it is Someone who partnered with Carl Reiner for so many years and remained friends all the way through. And that's Mel Brooks. I would say yes, but I would not out with no disrespect to Mel Brooks. Mel has not been as active in years of late. That's the only distinction I would make. That's true. Because I'm a huge Mel Brooks fan History of the world, Part one being one of the funniest movies of all time blazing saddles all the way down, but Mel Brooks necessarily hasn't done as much in the past 10 years or so. That will be the only distinction I would make. The Carl Reiner died at his house in Beverly Hills. He was 98. That I looked amazing, too. Sure did. Oh, my gosh, Few people can say they didn't get cheated in life. Yeah. All right. Joseph D'Angelo, the Golden State killer..

"Children have a cyber tip line received millions of tips last year from kids and parents all over the country about inappropriate contact online. We have a fourth floor that has seventeen federal agencies. They're eight marshals eight FBI ate ice border patrol. Postal inspectors only place in America where those agencies work together to find missing children and catch predators online. So we had the Adam Walsh act passed by President Bush which created the national sex offenders registry. So now parents know of a level three repeat offender horrible pedophile is on parole. Three houses away, you tell your children don't go there. Don't give near that guy. So we had a lot of success on the federal level. And then you know after battling from Eighty-one till around eighty seven. I was in the airport one day in a. An a producer from FOX came in and said we've been trying to call you for days. We wanna know if you would like to host the first reality program in the history of television. And I went who are you. And he said, I'm I'm from FOX we have a network, and I went no, there's only ABC CBS and NBC they'll never be another fourth network. And he said, no, we're financed by a millionaire wasn't a billionaire at the time named Rupert Murdoch. We have all decided we've cast actors, but we want you. You're the real deal. Fox network is run by a legendary guy by the name of Barry Diller, and we want you were one we have come up with an idea for a show we want to call it America's most wanted. Nice at what would that do? And they said it's a model of crime watch UK, which is run in Great Britain for twenty years partnership with Scotland Yard British police in the BBC re-creations authentic catch fugitives. Nice it. Okay. So. So it's the FOX network, and where are you on? They said we have two programs on Sunday night ones. A new brand new young musician. We found on Sunset Boulevard named Johnny Depp. In a show named twenty one jump street. We have another show be. I can't remember the second show. I said so you're on one night. And I said do the hell's Rupert Murdoch, and they went, well, he's from Australia, and I went so you want me to host a the first reality television program modeled after show in Great Britain on a network, nobody watches run by a guy. Nobody ever heard of. And I went no. And they pursued me for six months. I didn't know anything about television. So they kept coming back to me. And I said, okay. I want the show to be based in DC. Oh, no. It's got to be on the FOX lot. You know? We're only one night we've lost one hundred and sixty million dollars in two years, but we're going to stick with it. And I said no has to be in DC near the National Center FBI and marshalls are their day. Need to be a part of it. I want to pick the cases myself, you're not gonna shove any tabloid cases down my throat. We're never going to show the picture of a child victim. Never even if his creepy. Parents want to show see his face. I'm making the decision, right? Women don't want to be have their faces shown. We're not gonna do that. I picked the cases and cops don't answer the phone will they said, what do you mean? I said I want my trained operators to answer the phone. I want people to be able to remain anonymous people don't want to call the cops. I know firsthand. How often cops can screw up and people don't want to be dragged into trials. So I want it in DC. I run the phones my operators. Take the calls. We don't trace her tap calls. I'll turn them over the FBI. Marshals have already told me they'll be in the studio, and they went, wow for guy that does know anything about television. You've got a lot of demands I said take it or leave it, and I've already decided on the first guy, David James Roberts, heartland, Indiana, rape, twenty-seven women got out after eight years on parole while he was on parole. He killed four people two of them small children said to my wife, I to do the show because this guy once he got caught for those four murders. He faked in illness was brought. To a prison hospital sentenced to five life sentences, no parole, but he got in the prison hospital, a friend of his left a gun there. He's been on the loose for two years. He's the top of the FBI's ten most wanted their manhunter squad has not gotten one tip about him. Wouldn't it be something if I caught that guy? Show. I show aired. She said, absolutely. That's what we do. Wouldn't it be great? If we could find this guy because Adams case hadn't been solved we have. We're going nowhere. I said, wouldn't it be great? If we caught this guy because he's probably out killing children to show, aired February one thousand nine hundred eighty eight three days later, they caught date. David James Roberts. We had ten calls to the hotline about him guess where he was he was in Staten Island, and he was running a shelter for the homeless the executive director while he was on the FBI's ten most wanted a sociopath serial killer rapist hiding in plain sight, the show became a hit. We stayed on the air we were number one for twenty five years. I launched Monday night for FOX Tuesday night Wednesday night. Usually if they move a show twice, you're dead. I went all the way to Saturday was on Saturday ten years we caught fourteen hundred twenty two of the world's worst, dude. It is recovered sixty one stranger abducted kids alive now twenty five years. I caught. Seventeen guys off the FBI's ten most wanted more than any FBI agent history the FBI and it was time to retire. I got a wonderful EMMY for excellence in television. And I said time I wanna be a grandfather, I'm old I'm dying to be a grandfather, I want to saddle up and retire hang up my Spurs, so FBI and the US marshals approach me two years ago and said things are terrible in America. That's most violence has ever been Chicago's breaking all types of records in two thousand eighteen there were three hundred and seven mass murders in America. Twenty-seven school shootings a hundred and forty four cops killed in the line of duty forty thousand murders. I mean, thirty three thousand gun deaths forty million American crime victims and the murder clearance rate in Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans and Baltimore went down to Twenty-eight percent. So you had almost an eighty percent chance of getting away with murder in America was never that low in the history of the country. They said, please, we're asking you to come out of retirement. That's when I went to my handsome, son, Callahan and said, would you saddle up with me? And let's team up with the investigation discovery. And I I wanna get and we'll get into the show in a second. But I do wanna bring Callen and and ask you, okay. We've heard the story. What made you want to get involved with this? Well, I grew up with my parents telling me, we need to make sure that Adam didn't die in vain. And if songs to continue, then we must do the singing, and I've seen them do that time and time again every day. In fact, the work that's done at the National Center for missing exploited children and the show that he that he did for twenty five years Americans wanted he went out there and try to get Justice for families that hadn't gotten it took twenty seven years to solve my brother's case Justice is not part of closure closures in a word. We don't use because nothing is is really going to bring your loved one back closure. You'll never never be fully healed. But Justice does start to help that process, and it does provide answers for families and to see my father be able to provide Justice to families that haven't gotten it felt filled a hole in his heart filled a hole in in our family. And I just seeing what happens today that there's still too many these guys out. Out there that this needs to continue. This is an incredible public service America's most wanted captured more criminals than an even aired episodes. Right. We got at least one to two guys every single episode. In fact, I became a producer on on the show and was a producer for a number of years, then eventually moved over to the National Center for missing exploited children five five years ago, and the work there that's done is incredible. And but cops can't be everywhere. All the time. The public is an incredible tool for law enforcement, and that's what we need to harness. We need the power of the public get some great tips and bring Justice these families, and and it's interesting you talking about because we we've been covering a case like that Jamie, close case in in Wisconsin. And I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you while you weren't directly involved in this case, I'm sure you followed it, and the fact that law enforcement and the citizenry worked so well together to bring that to a conclusion after eighty eight days in and we always hear the first forty eight to seventy two hours or the critical ones. When a child is missing to see that come to the end that it did what did that do for you? As far as how far the search for children, and the the the pursuit of justices. Come well. First of all, of course, we were a static when she was found alive. We have a group of retired law enforcement agents FBI marshalls local cops that who were very experienced in missing child cases, and they were embedded with the police. So we knew what was going on with the case I felt and so did the team Adam guys it's named after our son. But it we pay for these volunteers to fly to wherever there's a missing child, and they work with the local cops. They don't talk to the media. They teach them how to interview sex offenders in the area do grid searches because most of these small communities had no experience on a stranger abductions. So we had the feeling that this girl was alive because of the circumstances of the murder of her parents. The family wasn't involved in anything bad. She wasn't online being groomed by anybody. We felt that it was something like Elizabeth smart, which we got marika's. Most wanted recovered after eight months jaycee Dugard who was being in in a backyard for eighteen years raped and had two children by her abductor and the girls in the Cleveland house, which I never gave up doing that case because I criticize Cleveland police and said they're related, and I'm sure that those girls are somewhere that those cases we oh, no their individual the runaways. They weren't they weren't MandA very was listed runaway a nightmare. Finally got their changed in the fourteen year old girl Gina day. Sousse was never even an amber alert bad police work, and I love cops. So we didn't solve this girl's case the police didn't solve this case. She solved the case. She survived eighty eight days of held that only. She will be able to understand. She saw this man heard this, man. And killer father in another room while she was huddling in a bathtub with her mother's arms around her this low-life twenty one year old loser. Coward reject. No job. No future came in and told her mother to duct tape her face. And after he did that he shot her mother in front of her in the face took this girl and capture frady eight days. Cops didn't find her team. Adam didn't find her the public didn't find her. She escaped. No one knew where she was. We didn't have one clue it was a complete dead end. She was courageous enough to do whatever he demanded for eighty eight days, and to wait, even though she said he told her every day, I will kill you just like killed your mother. And when she escaped she had the presence of mind that wonderful woman who found her because she was had no socks in his shoes on no coat to go to a house in Casey was looking for the smart thing that lady with the dog that we all saw. And she told police exactly what his name was where he lived the address. The house his description, and what car he was driving and he was driving around the area. She escaped him and the police caught him within five minutes because of her good information. So I believe credit is due not to public the public. They're never forgot about her. That's great. They did everything could bring her back. And so did we who saved her life? She saved her own life who caught that perpetrator. She caught him by being so such have such presence of mind and his traumatizes. She was to be able to give those cops at answered that nine one one call the exact information of who the dirtbag was they could still be looking for him to this day. And if that lady hadn't said, we're going to go to a house and make a call where you're safe he could have found him. He was right in that neighborhood and probably shot that lady like he shot the other parents. So I wanna get it straight. This is one courageous beautiful young lady thirteen years old. She is going to go through holy hell because when she was recovered. There was no mom and dad to put their arms. Around her. They were dead. She saw her mother killed in front of her shotgun blast to the face. She's going to have to go through a horrible trial unless this low-life agrees to a plea bargain. The best he can do is life without there's no death penalty. So he could sit there and say, I demand a trial. They all wanna be Charles Manson all the guys who threatened me over the years, all those bags..

"This evening at six pm. Correct. Melby network out. Yup. Yup. And they say, oh, Marianne Rivera could be the first unanimous voter getting all votes, right? There was one kind of tool guy who said he wasn't going to vote for refraining from voting lately, I believe so then is that really one hundred percent. One hundred percent of the people that voted, and then I know you're gonna think I'm being stupid here. This is a real no, I think that a lot. Or are you could answer. Yeah. Babe Ruth didn't get one hundred percent of votes. Not nor did Mickey Mantle nor did Kim Griffey junior. That's visa closest I believe nine nine hundred. Right. Right. Exactly. Because there are those idiots out there that believe no one should get out of the fish up, but back in Babe Ruth era. There were like twelve guys playing baseball guys. But he had a home runs more than teams at home runs. Don't know. And there was like two newspapers in the country. They probably didn't believe that. He was doing what he was doing because there was no internet. How is a guy? Like right about that a guy in internet guy in Cleveland house. He ever watching Babe Ruth play. There's no TV. Listening radio, I suppose, that's where all these fake Babe Ruth stories came from. Well, I mean, they are detailed. We don't know that we don't know anything. They've Ruth wants hit a ball over nineteen neighborhoods says who will no one ever said back saw it. He did live in an orphanage. We do know that. We did hear about the orphanage. He was a fat guy playing ball guess slam. Cigarettes runs we have photos, although he was hitting home runs, and you get like in my little league, we played in the back of Colonia junior high school, and there were no fences. So you hit a ball in the gap was a home run. Well, we've done this before you believe that the theory is that home runs when Babe Ruth I started when he bounced over the fence were considered home runs. So does this mean that Marianna were varies the greatest ballplayer of all time? It does not he's gotten more votes than Ken Griffey junior. And baby just means he'll be the first one where everybody votes for him that voted. That's all it means. Okay. Disclosure of all time greatest baseball player. I would say, no. Ken Griffey junior. So the best I've ever seen is that right? Yes. I would say so is he the greatest Yankee though of all time.

"And I think if I have to pick a single number, I'm going to pick thirty two and reason for that for me is I'm not sure on their defense. Like I said, that's the defining question. These certainly have personnel there, but and maybe they try maybe that's really the the issue and they can get into it. But I saw a lot of miscommunication and not getting back in transitioned all that insists that could be there's always the kind of the physical, the mental and the emotional defenses takes all kinds. An I completely understand like your your estimate is totally fair to me. I'm just taking the same set of input in my my guest. This is kind of, I guess you could make the history argument here and a lot of the other part of why. Swings for me a little bit more to the negative side is because of the the sheer just amount of work that this team has done over the last few years going to the finals for years in a row is tough, and they have had a lot of turnover. I mean, they turned up basically half the team last year, which is remarkable. But what I feel is always a concern with these kinds of teams is that they're playing for pride early on, and if it goes well, then there's an easy path as like, that's what the logic of this getting to be like a forty, four win team or something that ranges like it goes well, and they're like, hey, look, we can do this if sometimes if it goes badly early, a lot of these guys, you're just sitting there going well, I'm you're playing for your next contract, but maybe you're not fully engaging something like that. And I, you talked about history. I kind of go in that direction that playing for a playoff berth and playing for even though the regular season was super weird. The last couple of years playing for the possibility of a championship are two very different things. So I could see them going in that direction. And the one other important thing that we have to talk about this. This is only as important as the front office and ownership feels that it is is the idea of the Cleveland houses protected pick, and so it's protected, Cleveland, retains it if it's one through ten. Otherwise it goes tweet, Linda. And so with the new lottery forum, I think this is what we're really talking about is, are they in the bottom eight or so because the odds are just you can fall back. They've the was it all. And so I don't know, you know, far better than I if they're close like if they're in that conversation. So we're in the not in the worst case round MIR, but we're below well below fifty percent. I think there's a chance that they just lean into that little bit and you know, maybe it's losing a couple of extra games like maybe maybe on my theory of this, there are thirty five thirty six wind team. But when a team has is in that range, usually they fall off. 'cause that's just the way this works in west that's enough to make it into the playoffs. So that's a long winded way of saying, this is a a tough team to project, and I'm really intrigued by how it's going to go. And I'm totally open to the prospect that I'm just to well on them because I understand. Exactly what you said, but it's kind of two sides of the coin. And so we would just have to see which way goes well. And I think if you consider if you consider like where you see them and then also the idea what you're exactly correct, which is when you when you stink and you have a chance to to go for the lottery, the teams tend to do it. And so then like when when we were talking earlier about questions, I think it comes back to that. What is too bad? Like what is bad enough to do that. Because of the lottery reforms, you're correct. I think you have to be significantly bad like you've got to be one eight..

Is the Nazi Germany was more evil because there was this heavy racial component, which is an additional evil and particularly relevant evil in the United States where racial issues have divided America for very long time. Patrick's has been, I love listening to music in my free time, but I've come to realize that could be listening to an audiobook podcast instead, how do you balance learning and leisure? Well, you know what? I realize I tend to lean toward learning, but at the same time I'll go for a week without listening to music and realize I'm depressed. And then I, I realized the reason I'm depressed is because I haven't actually taken enough time for music. So I think that you have to let your brain rest sometimes. And that's what music is for Veronica says, hey Ben, how did you actually meet Knowles and cliven? Have you ever actually met Walsh and person? I have met met while in person. I think once they came out to our offices few months ago, I'm remember when I first met Andrew Clinton, believe I, I met Andrew Cleveland. He was working at PJ TV doing the short videos and Clinton's really literate guy. We got to talking and we became quite friendly from there. I met Knowles at a dinner party at Cleveland's house and no. Nose was particularly pretentious talking a lot about yield at night. And so I decided, hey, why not give that guy show to my ever lasting regret? So that's basically I met those guys Daniels Ben huge fan. I wanna ask, is there benefit to using executive privilege on Michael Cohen? Just like Obama Houston on Eric Holder. I believe hoping to see run for president one day. Well, executive privilege only applies to folks who are operating under the auspices of the president's. It doesn't actually apply to anyone the president deals with. So the office of the presidency does not cover everything that the president does in his life. So if I am committing some sort of drug crime with somebody as the president of the United States and that person is operating, not as a member of the government. Executive privilege doesn't extend to those crimes that are happening outside of government. It really extends my understanding is to the constitutional purview of the presidency. Michael Cohen was not an employee of the government. He was working for Donald J Trump in his private capacity, not in Donald Trump as president of the United States.
