"He's fucking done. Yeah, and the whole movie is then basically chasing after this damn nerdy friend of the main girl, you know, her name is yeah. We'll call it a summoning home. Yeah, cuz she you know, the Covergirl whatever you want to call her. We didn't even, you know, learn names and I was nodding. I was just sitting there trying to watch this damn thing is so ridiculous, like like what you normally like these kind of movies when they're there's a ghost who the spirit who's trying to get someone's attention because they were murdered at the end. You see like the spirit and you get the backstory what happened? None of that happened know we did get some Paranormal Activity. They're very little light flickering a few books getting thrown around like like the shadow. Shadow person here and there but it didn't explain why no, it didn't tie into the whole search though. It didn't the cops were doing with these guys, you know, and so all they did was blame this nerdy partner. Yeah hers the one that was working the fake case with her, right and they're harassing him the whole fucking movie. And then finally Joe Buck we're going to call him the Little Junior Summer. Yeah Junior son of the sheriff. I guess know that the guy was a real estate real estate guy. Yeah, that's what they were building tract homes and she gets the big hit. But then again, this is Texas. Yeah. They also they had do that area typical bullshit. Let's talk about that any real quick cuz that that frustrated this shit out of me. Literally. Okay, literally folks nothing at all went on in this thing know till about the last few minutes. Nothing happened. It was fairly pathetic go ahead. But so junior is talking to somebody in ho and ends up at her. She's house-sitting for Jeff. First of all, we need to put that she's house-sitting some place. I don't I don't know who cares but she's house in her house, but you know goes over to her house talk to her about the case or something something. I don't know but while they're they're the detective is it just goes to the the goes to the Sugarland Factory and ends up finding Clayton Ward skeleton. Yes, and so while that's happening something home realizes that Junior is the one that killed Clayton Melissa because they were going to expose his father for building track land tract housing that over burial site removing the bodies off and like I said, and they didn't try any of that until the very end. So at least they gave you a little bit of something to tie in why in the hell he was even in the movie the first looking bright girl. He ends up capping her right? He killed many home screen off-screen. No kill ghosts & help ghost income at all to help her at all. Nope, then. Yeah dirty capture. Up, we calm dirty cop. But yeah, he killed a pedophile. So he's all right in my book, but he shows up at the house and you know find her in the hallway and then Junior sneaks up behind him cats him off screen screen goes dark off. All they do is the screen goes dark and it says gunshot on the damn on the other closed captioning closed captioning. You hear the shut. Yeah, but you don't see anything. There's no blood no deaths nothing and then we get like so we get some establishing shots of like different parts sugar again, because literally every ten minutes so every ten minutes every ten minutes, there'd be a 30000 seen with Eric Roberts. Yeah, but every five minutes there was an establishing shot of the Imperial Sugar Land different angles. Yeah, you know up on top on the side from the back. Yeah, but I mean, so that was basically the coolest thing about this whole movie and you have to actually be from the area that even fucking understand how a wire yeah even care. Yeah the first place so we get up some established he's dead. And then it cuts back to a shot of this the cops hand on top on the ground. It's shot of his hand holding his gun. And in the background. Can you see Junior squatting down? Yep, and then the cops hand goes to move a little bit like he's lifting the gun up and then fate the black and the credit for the credits roll. Like what in the actual fuk is that and yes, I do realize we probably just reviewed this movie in like 10 minutes, but literally just adds it. Yeah. No, I'm going to do my review. We we said earlier at the beginning that because of this film takes place in Sugarland was filmed in Sugarland and Richmond that automatic gets Point. Yep. So this movie gets a five. There you go. So if without that shit, it would have been a six. Absolutely. This is a fucking fight. It's a waste of time. If unless you're a like you said it unless you're a resident of the Richmond or Houston area in Stafford or Houston area and you've seen this place before there's nothing else about this movie this war song So now we had a lot of fun riffing on it. Oh, yeah, so but but even that amount of fun couldn't save the movie know it was not and like I said horror content was none practically non-existent except for there was a couple sprinkles. There was a dead body at the end and then got in the off-screen gunshots. Yeah. It was off this movie such a huge disappointment and we it's so funny cuz we we read some of the Rotten Tomatoes reviews. Yeah before we started watching it and they were all bad thoughts. What is it? Just because you have a great camera doesn't make you a director that's fucking true. That is true because the camera was great cinematography was great, but the they literally just we could have filmed this phone like this movie. Okay. So we this is the second movie we we've reviewed that was shot entirely in Houston. Yeah. Okay the other being death metal zombies from last season. Yeah dead. It had yeah, go back and check out. I had better cinematography because that film was made in ninety. So it had 90s, uh cameras. Yeah. This film has 2017 Camry so better cinematography them look better but like death metal zombies death metal zombies was filmed in like four locations. Yes. This was filmed in four locations or location. Yeah, so I thought it was like they barely even fucking tried. Yeah. It was it's so fucking ridiculous. That's probably why they didn't list the budget have probably had to give it all to Eric. Oh my God. I can't imagine what his salary costs for calling three days of shooting. I'm here. Okay. I'll say my 6 lines. Yeah. I'm going back to my trailer. He's like look, you got me for three days before I head out to film dark night. So hurry. Yeah, whatever exactly. Yeah, I thought so. Yeah, I gave it a five. Would you give James? I'm going to have just I'm gonna have to be right there with you. Is it worth watching if you like more of a mystery? Yeah, it's not it's maybe it's not a horror movie or natural. It's not really not it's got very little Paranormal Activity and it does not say anything together now leaves It Wide Open and yes, the the Richmond the Richmond turd bonus. Oh Sugar Land turd bonus. Yeah. Definitely saved one. I have no choice man. I'm right there with you. I gotta go with a five. Yeah. The acting was not horrible not as horrible the script wasn't bad. The story wasn't bad, but it was not a horror movie. So as far as horror content, yeah five and I completely agree with you that the story was terrible. It no story. Well, it didn't tie in very described just horrible because nobody said anything of a consequence in a movie. But yeah, it's still a hookah part. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, there's Cinco El Torito's but it is worth at least one watch. Yes, and whoever does WIN Job The grand prize of all the movies at least, you know, you'll be watching a movie from our home City. Yes, and it won't cost you anything know and and so you'll you'll feel a little bit closer to us because you'll be you'll be watched movie that took place some place that we've been to I literally lived five minutes away from the factory. I was right in my old stomping ground. Yeah. Oh man. Well, let's tell him all that good shit. And then let's get the funk out of here. Let's do it. Okay. "How much you believe in the afterlife spinach and things like that? A lot of people died under the Ferguson and built this town home? Clayton and Melissa were discovering something even beyond the case this lost you're running out of room at the Turner's stumbled upon something. I think you might find interesting things like this. Just don't happen often about it. I think there was someone in the house again last night, my father always told us. They did speak and you can summons the Dead. Without even realizing it and all your years as a homicide detective. You ever experience something like this? That we buried all that. Whoever killed Melissa Ward had the same plans for you. Said I don't know anything about him. He's out something. That's just Mother-of-pearl went in the what was that? I don't know. I'm I'm telling you. Oh, man. Oh my God. I don't know what happened. That was yeah. It has such potential it had great potential. But unfortunately, I think as many new discussed during watching this motion picture that the Sugar Factory was the star of the movie. Oh cuz that's all they showed off showed. Okay, they literally showed more of the Sugarland Factory than they did at the ghost. Yes, the girl Center like four times. This is on and there's only really one satisfying seen practically in the whole movie. Yeah, happens right there at the beginning. Yeah, cuz we come into the Sugar Factory. Of course, that's where we start with dirty cop don't even know his name is I'm just going to I'm dirty cop the dirty cop. He has apparently cornered a pedophile. Yes that had killed his wife and not his wife killed his kid his wife and his wife's kid. Yeah, I didn't see her in the movie. Yeah, she was in it like a a brief second deal briefs. Yeah a brief second. Anyway, he catches his pedophile piece of shit. And he's looking for some kid that he abducted the guy points the kid out. He goes over there and finds it in the garbage bag did caps this far. So he kills the kills guy, but it's off screen. You don't even get the satisfaction of getting it on string cheese and I will literally Tell You Folks this this all tied into this, you know, once this little part was over he had a little run-in with internal affairs. Yeah, very very very brief. The neat part was we got to see like the city hall Sugarland get to see the Richmond police department, but there was nothing there was no wage. There's no there's no story in this fucking thing. No, it was weird because they start talking about this Clayton Ward and this other girl named Melissa, Melissa or whatever advantage and that's pretty much what the whole movie was hindering, you know, yeah hanging on and it didn't make any fucking there was no summoning like at all. Like there was hardly any ghosts. This is absolutely one of the biggest cases of false advertisement. Oh when it comes to movies that I think we've watched yet. The Box looks fantastic was crazy looks scary as shit, it does and it oh for fucksake and I think the picture on the cover is even the girl star of the movie. Yeah. I think she is but yet nothing know and I mean, it's this long drawn-out thing of off. The girl is a in law school with a friend and they're doing a mock case the mock case happens to coincide with the mock case that that Melissa and and Club. Working on yeah regarding the Sugar Factory and and some some slaves that were that were buried their way way back. Yeah. Yeah, there were buried underneath the factory or yeah on the factory grounds and stuff like that. Yeah, and she gets she goes missing one night. So they're looking for her. She's somehow ends up in the Sugar Factory. She's trapped for like a day and then old man Jenkins let her out and remove every month. He does have an old man Jame does and then the rest of the movie is the cop the Renegade cop trying to figure out why she went missing while trying to figure out what happened to Melissa or work. Click on Clayton's was never found Melissa. Melissa was found dead. They blame Clinton and then they been looking for Clayton but claims dead too. He was buried at the factory. Yes. And so they're trying to find Clayton while she's trying to figure out I don't want folks trying to figure out but that's what we're trying to figure out why in fact that we you know, there's like I said, it's it's luck of the draw. We thought this would be dead. Right. Yeah just turns out to be a big Zero Man like it's really it's flat. We said earlier. I'm going to fucking rating cuz literally we said earlier that because it took place in Sugarland. So it was really cool to see the inside of the fact because I have never been yet and I have been in there and it does look that that is it so that was like, holy shit. It's a fucking cool building super cool building. I would love to go in there investigating time it really awesome to do that. We saw the jail. We thought we saw we saw around Sugarland. So it was cool to see all that know. We saw the train a million fucking times, but we said earlier that you know, because it's it's as filmed in Sugarland and it has quote unquote. And the only thing that has to do with based on real events are the Sugar Land itself the the building and the the police department and the fact that song was at work at the and I think it was Loosely based on some of the on a criminal case and the area probably but it didn't really explain that. No, it was the facts were scattered out. And the whole movie was these two cops, you know. Mr. Eric Roberts and his hair. Oh, yeah. His name is Lubbock. By the way Lubbock. He said out every five about every ten fifteen minutes. He shows up speaks about two or three lines and he goes back in his trailer. Yeah, he's done. He's fucking done. I was just sitting there trying to watch this damn thing is so ridiculous, like like what you normally like these kind of movies when they're when there's a ghost who the spirit who's trying to get someone's attention because they were murdered at the end. Yeah hers the one that was working the the fake case with her, right and they're harassing him the whole fucking movie. She's house-sitting for Jeff..

"And Melissa were discovering something even beyond the case this lost you're running out of room at the Turner's stumbled upon something. Yeah, she was in it like a brief second deal briefs. Working on yeah regarding the Sugar Factory and some some slaves that were buried their way way back. He does have an old man Jame does and then the rest of the movie is the cop Renegade cop trying to figure out why she went missing while trying to figure out what happened to Melissa or work. So it was really cool to see the inside of fact because I have never been yet and I have been in there and it does look that that is it so that was like, holy shit. It's a fucking cool building super cool building. I would love to go in there investigating time it really awesome to do that. We saw the jail. We thought we saw saw around Sugarland. So it was cool to see all that know. We saw the train a million fucking times, but we said earlier that you know, because it's as filmed in Sugarland and it has quote unquote. And the only thing that has to do with based on real events are the Sugar Land itself the building and the police department and the fact that song was at work the and I think it was Loosely based on some of the on a criminal case and the area probably but it didn't really explain that. Yeah, he's done..
