It's got a great caller out there who wants to talk about the missile and the fact that we managed to miss in Michigan trying to shoot down this object and then it went into the water of the Lake up there. And it's really kind of crazy to think about Terrence, Panama City, Florida. You are a former commander of the 170th fighter squadron. What did you think about the miss and the one and the missile going into Lake Huron up there? Well, you know, there's a thing called PK potential kill and each missile has a potential kill and the missile is just like any other machine. They don't, not every one of them is going to work. That's why you come in with multiple missiles on. I understand that the F-16 was out of the squadron at Madison. I used to be in that squadron as well. And I'm sure they had four sidewinders on and four amraams on board. So they were going to be able to complete the mission. So that's not that unusual. Now, when the missile comes off, if it doesn't find its target, it says to itself, hey, I've gone stupid and what it will do is it will self detonate. So the enemy can't get our missiles and reverse engineer them. But does that tie to my question for you when the Biden administration says it's not safe to shoot down a Chinese spy balloon because of what might happen. And then we try to shoot down this other object in Michigan, but it ends up that we miss and this missile goes off out of the mist. It does call into question whether safety was the reason we didn't shoot down the Chinese spy balloon, right? No, no, that they should have been shooting it down right away. Of course. I would not use the sidewinder on it myself because it also has what's called a proximity fuse. And when it gets close to the target and if it thinks it's going to miss it launches it explodes the proximity fuse and it's just like a Carpenter has those rulers that they fold up and it falls out like that and it'll try to hit the target anyway. So they were whoever made that decision. They were going to destroy that gondola that was underneath the balloon with a sidewinder. They could have, they could have started shooting down the balloon with their cannon. And they said that the gun door, they haven't tested the gun to our bit about 50,000 feet. Excuse me. This could be a possible war. Who cares about the gun door? How much a condor? Take the gun door off. They had three days to go out and test the Sam gun above 50,000 feet before they decided to shoot a town. They should have they should have went up there with the gun door off and saw that thing in half and let that thing drift down. The balloon punctured the balloon to let the balloon drift down. That's what they should have done. But thank you for the call. I think there's a lot of people out there nodding along. I wish we had you make a decisions about how to shoot down the Chinese spy believes instead

It should be invalidated immediately. I read what the union says. They said they want students to have teachers that look like them. Wrong. The students need teachers who will educate them. Educate, not what they look like. Did you ever fully follow it has to look like you, you don't relate to it if it doesn't look like you? You know, I grew up in orthodox Jew. I'm still religious, though not as quite as observant as then. I am quite observant, but not as just say this for the sake of truth and just full disclosure, but anyway, I grew up in an orthodox home where, in which we wore the Jewish skullcap, the yarmulke. And I remember thinking there was not a single textbook that I used that had an illustrations in which any of the figures were yamato. And I remember thinking, so what?

COVID sanity team was on April 18th judge mizell I believe it was the brave woman down Florida district court judge who decided the federal mask mandate on airplanes on trains It could end and so since then the TSA has taken down all of their plexiglass they allow you to walk through airports basically without wearing masks at all We saw all of the celebratory reactions as each airline came out and announced many of them mid flight hey you can remove your mask you no longer have to wear them And certainly we haven't heard of any mass issue on airplanes as a result of COVID being removed as we told you was likely the case because again we look at the facts and the airline CEOs pointed out the air filtration systems on the airplanes and everything else proved that the masks were not necessary On top of that book yesterday we talked about on the program that The New York Times had even acknowledged and today it's in the print edition of the paper that mask mandates do not work And they tried to say the reason mask mandates don't work is because people don't wear masks correctly really I believe it's even if you wear a mask correctly an average mass that people are walking around wearing it does little to stop the spread of COVID Okay so as all of the consensus is pivoting towards mask mandates don't work they're totally nonsensical what does the Biden administration do buck It really makes me feel like they're tanking for the number one overall draft pick They now are officially appealing the decision by that judge and seeking for the CDC to have the right to reinstitute the mask mandate which I think would drive people absolutely bonkers I know it would me I'm betting it would you if suddenly they flipped the script and said hey I know it's been since April 18th going on two months that people have not had to wear masks but it's back and you now have to wear them again There's so many different emotions that this brings up A lot of them involving four letters A lot of profanity comes to mind when I think about how completely insane this is I do believe that in part this is only possible because we now increasingly live in a media environment where no one is expected to defend their positions against the opposition anymore So neither Fauci nor willensky nor Biden no one's going to stand forward and deal with more than I mean maybe douchey at Fox will get in one actual question about this before they move on to somebody else It is indefensibly stupid to have a mask mandate on planes There is no there is no good faith Argument there's no discussion worth having No scientific basis There's no scientific basis There's no data to support this You are living 99.9% of your life Out there in the free air breathing it's all fine right And for this one little thing where you're actually safer than all other congregate settings as Fauci calls them which is on a plane where the air is actually filtered in such at such a high level that viruses are pulled out of the air believe it or not it's pretty amazing technology actually Clay so why do they do this right Now we have to get to the why And by the way we should also mention some people say I don't know why you guys still talk about COVID It doesn't exist wherever I live it It's because they're not going to let it go And this appeal just provides further evidence of that fact And they're not going to stop even after the election If you want it to stop I need everybody listening to this We see right now Doctor Oz and McCormick are still separated in Pennsylvania and look these are Republicans so they're both on team good guys for as I'm concerned but they're separated by a thousand votes So when we say we need everybody in Nevada everybody in Michigan Everybody in Wisconsin listening to us to mobilize and go vote and hold people accountable for their COVID lunacy Yeah It actually makes a difference I mean the people listening to the show right now can make the difference in some of those states in a close election the likes of which we're already seeing in this cycle So on the one hand there has to be the political accountability for this That's why we keep talking about it And we promise right We're not going to we're not going to let this go Until Fauci comes out and says I'm sorry I'm the worst I was wrong Which he's never going to do We have to stay on this and keep speaking the truth about this and then beyond that why do they want to do this to people And I just have to say they want the power They're going to say this is just about they have the right to do it I'm not sure even if they win they might get this decision they want clay and then have the CDC say you know what We think we're in a period of low enough transmission where we'll let you peasants breathe free fresh air for a while Remember it's planes buses and trains So it's not just planes And you know anything that's going over state lines And then beyond it this is compliance training This is Democrats want the ability to tell you you do this because we say so whether it's masks taking your guns you name it Because we say so is there justification You know to be "Back in clay Travis buck Sexton show Buck I want to talk about that We just kind of hinted at this at the open of the show But I am reading about all of the craziness that is going on in Shanghai right now As they have basically locked down Shanghai over COVID and they continue to try to implement a zero COVID COVID zero policy in China and they've argued that it's a legitimizing factor for their government but the result has been not that many people have gotten COVID in terms of natural immunity and also whatever vaccine they are distributing in China is even less effective than the vaccines that we have in the United States and we have the most western democracy That's not good That's not good at all So I couldn't believe this They're locked down is so stringent They have as you said people that are drones coming around and telling people not to attempt to have any freedom but also they aren't allowing people to go outside and walk their dogs I don't think most Americans even understand how stringent their lockdowns are They have what they're doing is a real lockdown We've never even did real lockdown in this country and it was disastrous what we did Don't get me wrong but in China they were soldering people into their homes I mean actually like you know soldering the door shut So you can't even come outside You couldn't come out no matter what right And we have the now it's in Chinese but we just think you should hear the sort of 1984 orwellian vibe here Imagine you're in Shanghai you're 30 40 stories up you're trying to either sing out your window or you're calling out to your neighbors because you happen to believe your home and what a week now and this is what you hear.

"Hanging out with us I am clay Travis he is buck Sexton This is the clay Travis and buck Sexton show Tons of different stories that we are chasing here lots of breaking news as we roll through the Tuesday edition of the program and there is now new guidance reportedly from the CDC and that new guidance is going to be not surprising I think to regular listeners of this program because we have told you that it was coming But I think it's going to land in a very uncomfortable manner for many people who have been kind of casually paying attention to the CDC So reports out there that the CDC is going to require at least according to their guidelines everyone in kindergarten to 12th grade where a mask if they are unvaccinated inside of a school and certainly since all kids under the age of 12 are not eligible for the vaccine that would mean the youngest kids out there are the ones that are going to be bearing the brunt of this stupidity and just a couple of months after saying hey you don't have to wear a mask if you get vaccinated There are going to be new indoor mask requirements that are coming And this is just the latest bait and switch from the CDC a long line of the exact opposite directions that they have given I don't know how anyone has any faith at all in the CDC We have a good Montage here I believe of the esteemed Doctor Fauci managing to give every different angle of scientific advice Remember always trust the science Let me just state for the record that masks are not theater Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better and masks are protective And it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is There are unintended consequences People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face So even if you are vaccinated you should wear a mask If in fact you are vaccinated fully vaccinated you are protected and you do not need to wear a mask outdoors or indoors When the children go out into the community you want them to continue to wear masks You know if you look at children outside particularly when they're with the family walking down the street playing a game or what have you don't have to wear a mask The academy of pediatric actually makes that recommendation that children should be wearing masks from two years old onward It became clear that cloth coverings that you didn't have to buy in a store that you could make yourself were adequate Belief that devastating clay belief in Fauci at this point is an intelligence test and millions of people still fail it on a regular basis This guy has somehow managed to be wrong and go back and forth and change his mind over and over again And yet he never upsets the lock downers You know how we knew that the media was anti Trump because well a million reasons but a very clear one was that every article that they wrote that had to be retracted or people had to update it and change it was always negative against Trump They never got it wrong by accident in the direction that was actually pro Trump right With Fauci he's never once upset the lockdowns The mask maniacs the people that believe you should triple mask and wear goggles when you go to the grocery store they've never turned on foushee because he is their great leader He's the dear leader the lab coat tyrant extraordinaire This guy is the absolute worst and the fact that they're gonna mask up kids This is child abuse It's stupid beyond words And I'm sure you know what's gonna happen now social media companies are gonna say you're not allowed to say that masks don't work for kids They're gonna start doing that crap all over again And this is why I have been saying but I think this I think this CDC guideline is going to break a lot of people's because there are still people you're right who are Fauci eats they listen to everything that he says if you have a functional brain now there's no way I believe that you can listen to the CDC or recognize it as anything other than a complete collection of political nincompoops that are going to go whatever direction the wind blows They're guided by polling they're guided by The White House all of this is an embarrassment to any one who holds up the scientific method or believes in rigorous analysis of scientific fact because but there is no evidence whatsoever I got three kids There is zero evidence that wearing masks offers any protection to them or any additional protection to anyone in the classrooms based on all the data out there Right It just doesn't exist And so all of this is cosmetic theater and you heard us playing that clip of Fauci taking both sides of every issue and he would say well that's because I had just based on the scientific data changing but the data has not changed as it pertains to kids and COVID Again I keep focusing on this because I think it's significant more kids are dying of the seasonal flu on average than have died with COVID But this isn't about the case This is the adult Yank them all around in terms of what's going to go on with the seasonal flu And the fact again this just goes to our point which this is going to become endemic like the flu and it's never going to leave and so at some point rational adults have to stand up and they have to lead the anti mask revolution because I think it's symbolic in particular with kids I think parents have to say no I think some parents will say no I think others will feel powerless in the face of a school district that is very blue and they feel outvoted and overpowered by the mask maniac mob that's going to keep pushing for this stuff But to the point you made about the kids this is not about protecting children from COVID This is about protecting over anxious Democrat union members for the most part from COVID by having kids mask up in school so that the teachers don't feel like they have there at some considerable risk but of course the teachers are vaccinated So what are we really saying It can't be that vaccines are as protective as they told us but they're shifting the guidance This is what this is what they're hoping people don't figure out This is what they don't want you to put this together The CDC said there's a few months ago because we had the data on vaccines Vaccines are so great you're 95% with the Pfizer 92 or four or whatever with the Moderna They're amazing right clay Or now they're saying actually kids are a risk to adults and schools millions and millions of children across America Why is that It has to be because the vaccines don't work as well as well That doesn't mean don't work as well the same percentage that they initially thought which means once again they were wrong about something but we're not allowed to say that It's shut up and by the way double masking It's going to be single mask and then they're going to start seeing as we get into the winter season The true believers You know the ones who would be wearing the hair shirt in medieval times You know they're going to be double mask in their kids And this goes to the difference between what you sold and what the reality is And what the CDC sold us book as recently as a couple of months ago was we're going to be able to effectively eradicate COVID like we did to smallpox like we did polio measles mumps right That was the idea that they were selling If you take this vaccine COVID will disappear And by the way this.

been saying in Bach is that COVID's not going away And Doctor Fauci and his cohorts back in the spring were basically saying hey I think we can eradicate COVID when they were singing the early praises of the COVID vaccine And now foushee in addition to telling us all that we can go out trick or treating So thank you lord Fauci for giving us the opportunity and Just the sheer willingness of you to allow people like me who are parents to take our kids trick or treating I couldn't have done it without your benediction But what's wild is Fauci now buck is starting to walk back everything And you know he's starting to sound a lot more like this show Clay Travis and buck Sexton and the guys who don't have any idea what we're talking about I mean he won't come on the show but maybe he listens every day just so he understands what reality is Yeah maybe that's the maybe that's what's really going on here Let's go to cut 6 where Fauci effectively is saying hey COVID's never going away and then buck I've been out in LA since Sunday I want to tell you what my experience has been here We certainly don't have a COVID vaccine mandate in LA yet like New York City But I know a lot of people wonder what it might be like You can tell us about New York City I can kind of give a flavor for what I've seen in LA but first here's foushee cut 6 We are seeing now with decline in acceleration and a turnaround of cases Where do we ultimately want to be As I mentioned it is going to be very difficult at least in the foreseeable future and maybe ever to truly eliminate this highly transmissible virus And again as I mentioned we've only eradicated one So this is pretty significant I think Buck as we start to break this down because if COVID truly isn't going away if COVID zero isn't a possibility then what that means is that we have to learn how to live with this virus like we've basically had to live with every virus that ever existed in human history And although I know you saw this headlight too from Australia where they said hey now that you get the COVID vaccine you also may need to get COVID just to make sure that you've protected yourself which further means natural immunity is really through herd immunity the only way out of this if you don't have a fail safe a 100% guaranteed vaccine Well there are also admitting with that that you obviously can get it even if you have the vaccine but they'll say you're unlikely to die or go to the hospital if you've been vaccinated against this but clay we're gonna see I'm sure your experience in LA is similar to what we see here in New York City which is that there are people for whom this has really become a lifestyle choice I mean this is now the way they're planning to live their lives Masking constantly cautious around other human beings I still see people on the streets you're walking around outside of the mask on And part of the movement I think here the Fauci eyed movement is going to go in the you know it worked so great which is crazy but they'll say this and work so great against COVID-19 we should do this stuff that we've done against the flu because the flu is dangerous too and look at what we've proven with hand washing social distancing and masking we can defeat COVID By the way of course that's not what's happened We have not we did not defeat COVID with those things at all The only thing that has proven to have any real efficacy so far has been the vaccinations people have gotten against hospitalization and death and even that is going down as we know as a protection So that's what we're facing right now We're going to have I think you're going to have people masking for a long time to come But this is all going to change also based upon what the numbers look like this winter I think we may have a lot of explaining to do clay My concern is that we're going to end up in a spot where people try to argue we have to have masks forever basically Because my concern is these mask evangelists are going to pivot even when COVID is declining and say hey look at what we did to the flu Why aren't we wearing masks all the time And I think there's going to be that argument out there But what I'm seeing here in LA I was curious 'cause I'm coming from the freedom loving red states of America You know I've been on the bus tour We're going to the Georgia Kentucky game this weekend I'll be in Athens all over the SEC People aren't wearing masks There's a 100,000 people in stadiums People are living their best lives But I haven't spent time in New York City since the vaccine mandate where you are buck and certainly I hadn't been in LA since the vaccine mandate or at least they announced the vaccine mandate They haven't been checking Bucket doesn't feel very different in LA I mean I'm telling you I've gone into hotels restaurants all over LA Now I've mostly been in west LA but there's nobody asking for anything I told you that I went in I've been getting my morning coffee not wearing a mask walking in I've been taking ubers Nobody's asking me to put on a put on a mask And it feels nobody in the hotel you know certainly nobody around the hotel gym saying you have to wear a mask while you work out or anything crazy like that It feels like LA at least in the parts of LA that I've been going around to is over COVID as well Well they might be because they're at a right now their case load is pretty low I haven't checked the specific Los Angeles or even California numbers and probably a couple of weeks now But if you just look at the general heat map of cases that The New York Times has up or any places you know California is right now Yeah I'm looking at it as I speak to you It is at a low level That anxiety can all return very quickly The problem clay I see is that people relax more based on the data and how things are going when it's really low but they still cling to these notions of okay now it's time to go back to retreat into Fauci is in the moment they get another surge and I think they're likely to get a surge at least of cases I don't know about hospitalizations and debts likely to get a surge in California in the winter time Same thing here in New York and then you'll probably see a retreat to all the stuff that we've been told all along is going to stop this and doesn't stop it Yeah well then people will be like hey we need to mask harder We need as if we have had at any point That's the biggest lie that we've all been told about COVID We have been told that our behavior has impacted COVID in a substantial way yet anybody who actually looks at the data and spends any time analyzing it in any kind of rudimentary way can't see that virtually everything we have done to try to stop COVID from spreading has been without any benefit whatsoever the virus was gonna virus no matter what we did There's also a part of me that thinks clay that the hesitancy to do certain to do really widespread serology testing to see how much natural immunity we have I think that this will work to the apparatus to the foushee ice favor in time because if we do have a pretty quiet winter we go into the spring I think there will be a case to.

Why would you support any form of sports including the nfl when they allow protests when they are being disrespectful i thought by and large the nfl on september twelfth was very respectable respectful of september eleventh. There was not the black national anthem played at the game that i went to but it was played on the opening thursday night and bill maher talked about this and bill. Maher increasingly is willing to attack the absurdity of left wing ideals. And he's doing so in an intelligent fashion. At least you keep saying lift every voice and sing which now i hear is called the black national anthem now. Maybe we should get rid of our national anthem. But i think we should have won national anthem. I think when you go down a road where you're having to different. National anthems colleges sometimes now have many of them have different graduation ceremonies for black and white separate. Dorms is what it means segregation. You've inverted the idea. We're going back to that under a different name. These one hundred percent right. We used to have fun with this. Because i think the only way you can win on issues like these is by ridiculing the absurdity buck we would have on show we would play the hispanic the white the black in the asian national anthem. We also had to gay national anthem in the women's national anthem to draw into. Yeah it's fun we have a call in. Are those the those exist. We picked them. I didn't know there was a black national quote black national anthem until pretty recently. So i i had to have the possibility of these other. We did it in a comedic. I need to get that audio sent to us so that we can ridicule this but it points to his larger issue which has the entire point of the national anthem is that it brings us all together what you start excluding people based on race or doing different treatment based on race. That's called racism which is really what the left is doing. Now it's not defensible really intellectually the things that are happening. Now that the left is pushing it always devolves into incoherence which is why they respond to it with so much anger. that's accusations. They don't try to convince you about why this is a good thing. They say it is. Shut up your racist. That's the way their answer actually said a friend of mine clay in real time here. I have at the coffee shop on my corner now. It's just saw me like sitting on a bus now is reading white fragility. First of all. I'd be like you are the definition of a fragile white dude but i would just be like i mean what no other country in the history of the world. Have we meant it more millionaires. And i think probably deca millionaires. Meaning i think some of these writers probably you're making ten million dollars or more by telling everybody out there. How awful they are how awful. They're coming so pointless. Feds Launch Civil Rights Investigation Into 5 States Over Mask Mandate Bans
"This a big story buck and it kind of is getting lost. A little bit in the afghanistan shuffle. I would say but the federal government is investigating five different states that have allowed parents to make decisions about whether or not their kids wear masks among those states.
