Thanks a lot, Liz, good morning, everyone. We're starting out with the clouds across our area, but temperatures a bit warmer than they were this time yesterday with many temperatures in the area in the 40s and low 50s yesterday, some of us were shivering with temperatures in the upper 30s, particularly west of interstate 81. So for your Sunday, today, partly to mostly cloudy skies, more clouds than sunshine, temperatures will be temperatures, as I said, will be warming up to the upper 60s, near 70° winds will be light, not as gusting as they were yesterday. That is a slight chance, just a slight chance of an evening shower and for the morning commute, a raindrop or two as well, but mostly the front that comes through will be dry. High temperatures for your Monday will be in the 60s near 70°, but after that, temperatures will be dropping throughout the afternoon on Monday, Tuesday morning, temperatures will be in the 40s and that starts a rather extended early season cold pattern. In other words, Tuesday and Wednesday, plenty of sunshine, but high temperatures only in the low 50s and low temperatures in the 30s and approaching only 40° inside the beltway. Temperatures outside right now, Reagan national 56° dulles coming in at 54° and BWI, cloudy skies, 51. And we've got the forecast with storm team four and meteorologist clay Anderson, it's feeling like fall. Nick, it definitely feels more like October than September, but we'll start to warm up. Temperatures today still on a cool side. You're only going to warm up to the mid 60s to the low 70s, but still a great time to get outside and enjoy because it should be dry throughout the day today. Now the clouds will be breaking out so we will see some sunshine. The next hour or two across the area from west to east, for tonight, more clouds move in in advance of a storm system so temperatures will be rising because of winds will be shifting to the southwest overnight, so tomorrow morning, instead of low temperatures in the 40s and 50s, we'll see low temperatures in the mid 50s to near 60° throughout the day tomorrow it will be cloudy and warm. Let's get the forecast now with storm team four meteorologist clay Anderson looks like it's going to be a cloudy day. Yes, we won't have too much sunshine across the area, Nick but the clouds will increase. We'll have more humidity for those who like that. Temperatures will be rising to the low 80s. We're starting to pick up that southeasterly breeze and those dew points will be rising as well. So we'll start to feel a bit muggy in the afternoon, but more clouds and sunshine, that's for sure. Now there's a storm system coming in across the North Carolina border, coupled with another storm system coming across the Ohio valley. So we're going to be in the middle of a squeeze play. We're just going to bring a long stretch of some cloudy skies unsettled and some rain. Rain will be starting from the southwest areas such as Charlottesville, cold pepper, Fredericksburg, that will start to move in right around sunset. It should be raining inside the beltway after about 8 to 9 p.m. periods of rain overnight tonight. Temperatures rather uniform, staying in the 60s to near 70 for lows, and The Rain continuing unfortunately for a Sunday afternoon. I think there's a football game in FedEx field, but bring your umbrellas, showers will continue into Sunday evening and Monday back to work back to school. "A meteorologist, clay Anderson. Temperatures continuing to go up. It's 87 in Rockville, 88 in Ashburn, 85 in district heights, highs today expected in the low 90s It's 1241. The G 7 summit is happening this week in Germany. President Biden is there and will be meeting with the allies, the trip is seen as a test of his leadership in many ways, such as attempting to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine and dealing with high gas prices. The president and other leaders are reportedly going to try to put pressure on Russia through a ban on gold. Ken Walsh, White House and political analyst for U.S. news and World Report, talk to WTO ps and Kramer about how effective a gold ban would be. The point about the imports on Russian gold illustrates, I think the difficulty that the allies in the United States have now in proceeding because a lot of the sanctions that have been imposed on Russia for invading Ukraine are biting hurting the allies, including the United States. So there's a there's some pushback occurring here. But the idea that they found now is that if they impose new bans on imports of Russian gold, that this will hurt the Russian economy further. But the question is how much tolerance the Western Allies have for the pain that they're imposing on themselves as they impose sanctions on Russia. But I think what we're looking for in these meetings this week and NATO and the G 7 is can President Biden maintain unity among the allies in the face of the continuing Russian invasion. That's the real problem. He's already talked about that. He's arrived in Germany and his first comments focused on this idea of maintaining unity. It appears that the Americans feel that this is probably the best path that they could get some deliverable, some examples of the unity that President Biden seeks. And so I think it's going to be pretty vague, but I do think that they're going to come out of this with the united front, at least for a while. That is White House and political analyst for U.S. news and World Report Ken Walsh. WTO and silver diner present free lunch Friday courtesy of silver diner entered to win your free lunch at WTO P

"The W T O P difference. It's 11 28 traffic and weather on the AIDS to Joe Fox in the W. T o P Traffic centre. Want to take the listener who called in after we've been talking about the delays as you head north, Um, Virginia from the Dulles Toll road towards the American Legion Bridge. In that delay, we now have a crash in the left lane. Nobody's with it yet. So expect an emergency response. In your mirrors if you are in that delay, but it is blocking the left lane as you approach old Georgetown Pike route 1 93. Once you get into Montgomery County, you're going to be in good shape. The one delay we do have in Montgomery County is an old town, Kensington. This is going to be where University Boulevard in Connecticut merged. There is a commemorative event going on at the Kensington Fire station this morning, and that's going to block the right lane in a very busy area. So expect some delays. But please use patients as you go through there and honor those that we are remembering today in the district. We're going to be North Slope both to Erections now on DC 2 95 heavy and very slow. In between Benning Road, the 11th Street Bridge. This is because of the work zone North Bong on to D. C to 95 that has you down to a single lane at Benning Road Elsewhere on the Beltway in Prince George's County, it looks like we have largely cleared out the delays on the interlude. Hopefully, the earlier vehicle fires also gone. We do have the delays on the outer loop that are still working to clear out. As you're heading up towards Pennsylvania Avenue and then again as you go past Richie Marlboro Road and towards Route 50 New Carrollton in Virginia, as you head South Bong 95 is going to be slow from a quiet harbor down to Fredericksburg, then again, from Doswell to Ashland, were still closed on 95 in downtown Richmond at Arthur Ashe Boulevard. You're going to use 1 95 to get around through the city or to 95 to go around the city do not commit to interstate 95. Looks like we're looking at some delays westbound in Gainesville as well on 29. This is coming past rather out. 15 merged towards Vint Hill Road. It's going to be slow. That does appear to be Saturday Volume and North Beyond 15 we've been talking about this looks like there's a crash now in the delay for the construction of Log Mill Road on 15 in between 50 and 66 at the Prince William Loudon County Line. It's about a mile delay in both directions. Joe Fox wtlv traffic. Now to storm team for meteorologists, Clay Anderson. We'll start the weekend Sunny and the sunshine will continue into the work.
