Clubhouse is very big. You know speaking up in rooms that are like you know. Big that aren't yours is a really good chance to grow following the downside of clubs from me is like and for those of you guys. That don't know what cobos quickly sixty seven seconds. Summary clubhouse is our as a voice as a live voice app so essentially. It's you can join rooms that people are hosting. And let's say. The room is about entrepreneurship or like weight loss. Or whatever so you joined the room. There's a group of moderators. It can be like one to five to ten different moderators. And then there's people in the audience and the people in the audience can raise their hand. They have something to say and so close. The potential on the app is big. And i do think that it has potential surge over the course of the next two to three months especially wants to gets released to android the downside of clubs from me is that it takes a significant amount of time because even for the chance to speak like if you're hosting your own room that's dope but you're not going to have a lot of followers at first when you you start the app so that's the downside and and so if you want to speak up in a bigger room like you know the bigger room to get a more followers give to sit there and you have to wait your turn and so the downside from me on clubhouse is that like there's a lot of potential claus and it is huge. The downside for me is that it takes a significant amount of

Tom Claus (Mohawk) New Years Special
"A mohawk indian from the six-nation reservation near brantford -tario canada. I belong to the turtle clan. When i was just the babe of one year old. My mother was getting ready for an indian celebration that we have every new year's morning. And that's when our indian people go from house to house and you can hear them coming lada. Young people would beast standing on the running board of the car and They would be coming along the road from one house to another and they would be yelling out new yaw and that meant new year in our indian language and so When they were coming you had to be prepared. You had to have a treat for them and so my mother made cookies and she would make pie and cake and they could have their choice of what they wanted. And so while she was cooking that new year's day she heard the radio that was on a little shelf in the kitchen where she was working and that radio carried a wonderful gospel program every sunday for seventeen hours on. That station would be christian programs but on this day they were making special announcements about this special broadcast and they were saying tonight from eleven to twelve there was going to be a watch night service and there going to be music by acquire an that there is going to be special groups. There was going to be Trumpeter from the marine ban and a lot of wonderful things and then there would be a message by dr churchill. Who pastored the church where this broadcast was coming from and so my mother asked. My dad will be alright to keep the family up for this new year's watch night service and my dad said yes and so my mother my dad my oldest sister and then my sister between dorothy and i was all sitting there in the living room and we heard the music and it was thrilling and there was exciting and then after the music dr churchill got up and he brought a message in that message. That was just a few minutes. He told about how he could be set free from sin. He told how we could be forgiven. From our sins and toll how our life could be made clean from all our sins and it was such a piercing convicting message. That when he gave the invitation at the end he said wherever you are. If you're at home you can get up from your chair. Kneel down or you can get out of bed and kneel beside your bed or if you're driving your car and you're listening to the radio you can drive alongside and park and there you can pray wherever you are. You can pray and you can ask the lord jesus to forgive you of your sins and to come into your heart by trusting. He's finished work on the cross and so that night in our little indian home my two sisters got up from where they were sitting and they knelt down beside their chair and they cried like babies. They were crying because
Unblocking beliefs clears the way to accomplishment with Mary Sise
"Had to the in my childhood. Especially that had this lynch that things would work out and she had faith in me. She really had phased that. I could do anything that i would listen to me. Even with all those kids she just did. She really empowered me to be the best that i could be example of a time when you were maybe thinking about doing something in a particular direction and her faith in you helped motivate or inspire you to take some extra steps. Well i would think around the time when i was going to college. I went to college in the early seventies very early seventies and lot of times women were going to college. You know they were getting married or it was just just changing at the time but she believed in me and we had all these kids in how it was ever going to happen i do. I didn't even know. But she really encouraged me like dow was going to be in so it just had to the next level step to the next level and even though she was very very traditional like she was very traditional in the woman's role it. I always felt like she didn't hold that for me like she really thought i could do whatever i put my mind to do kennedy example of that something that she wouldn't do herself but chink urged you to do because she believed that you had more opportunities more talent abilities ma. I can remember being a little kid and growing up like with the men really ran the place you know. The men in the household ran everything. She really never. I would say you'd never hear her really stand up to my father. He was one of those guys came back from the war. He he really. Hey what he said go. But she could navigate with a navigator. I watched that. And i thought i'm never going to be like You know i'm gonna make a make my money. I'm going do my own thing. I in so i think subliminally she just kept pushing me in that direction without really saying that. She knew as many of the women in her. You know that time. We're in the fifties here. She knew that was the way to do what came to do so it was an interesting. I admired her greatly. Her love or compassion. But i was not going to be that in that role with you know not seeing the world and getting out there so seeing the world and getting out there was important to you and you've helped many many people working with them to understand things that are invisible or belief system. How do you explain a belief system to people. And what are some of the characteristics of the beliefs that people have when they seek you out for help so for me the best way i explain it as by using a metaphor in the metaphor would be an iceberg. So that we. The top of the iceberg is really what we're very conscious of and some of us are are conscious of some things but most of our bill are more in the subconscious mind their below consciousness and what the scientists have shown is that because the brain is in a the brainwaves of a child are in a data state which hypnotherapist all know about the fate of state. It's a it's a very slow moving state the most of your beliefs about whether you're valuable. How the world works whether somebody wants to listen to. You are formed under the age of seven. And that's what's mostly in the subconscious. There's other times you can get beliefs but data is primarily a state. You're in under the age of seven so when people say to. You like will y y. I shouldn't believe i don't believe that anymore. There's usually a part of you. That still does believe it. And that's where. I learned that i had to learn some new ways to get in there and hackett into shifts things that are in the subconscious. Mind so if i understand you correctly. What you're saying is is that based upon our normal everyday operating we have brainwaves that operate at a faster rate and then many of the beliefs that we have were laid into our brain imprinted upon us when we were much younger and the brainwaves at age were travelling at a different frequency and in order to make changes to them. We need to be able to access them in a different way than than just normal consciousness other than just normal conversations cover sessions might be fine for detailing a different course of action or developing a strategic plan but in word make changes individuals it because each one of us comes with a different background different history. A different set of messages imprinted. That's when we need to use different techniques in order to access that level of deeper imprinting. Is that accurate. That's accurate when a child is born. The brainwaves are very slow there in delta. Which is why baby sleep then. Under the age of seven they move either primarily not all the time in this state and that's why children have imaginary friends. Santa claus real. They're like they're they. You can tell a child something and they believe you know they just believe it you know and then they get to be over seven. The catcher catholic. That's when they'd call it the age of reason. And you can make your first communion go to confession of your sins and you know the difference. You move out of this black and white thing and you had you can see more gray and you move more up to alpha beta which is a faster one in anybody who's got a teenager. They're always an alpha beta ray. They're not say it's really hard to program teenager but it's not hard to program child a lot of the things that we talk about in programming when we're talking about laying in some of these early belief systems do kind of created indirectly many times. It's the
What is the Ice Hotel?
"The ice hotel is a hotel. An art exhibition made of ice from the river. Torne each year reincarnated end. The brand new design a place to discover silence northern lights glistening snow clad forests reindeer cloud berries kettle coffee and so much more every year when the torne river turns to ice. A new ice hotel is created in a very small village of yuccas yari. In the north of sweden the ice of the river transforms to design and architecture and ephemeral art project and the world's first and largest hotel belt of snow and ice every year. Since i was a little girl. I have wanted to visit the ice hotel in sweden. It was a long shot. But i figured it was a dream and nothing would come of it. I imagined myself at the magical place made of ice and snow and how would be unusual and a once in a lifetime experience for me after all. I have had my time and stockholm sweden. But that's as far as my travels in. Sweden took me northern. Sweden would have to be for another time. I had rubbed shoulders with adults from my swedish language. Learning camp in bemidji minnesota which. I went to every october to better my conversational and writing skills and the swedish language and found the stories fascinating. I asked them to tell me their tales again and again. The older women some of them actually swedes from sweden took liberties with their stories and change them up a bit just for the fun of it every time it was a new adventure one of the stories that might have been up. Made me giddy with excitement and marymount. It was based around christmas time and it seemed so cozy in real. Surely it must be true. I didn't ask though. I imagined myself as being sabine. She'd that was telling the story and having the is hotel experience. Imagine with me arriving from stockholm to the ice hotel and yucca. Crv right on the torn revolver. The torne river is where they get all the ice for the ice hotel. The many designers engineers architects artists and workers start building the hotel from scratch every year. A labor of love. No doubt this year they were having a very special christmas. Celebration and architects engineers and designers were making special holiday installations special trees and wreaths the lap of an ice santa claus to sit on to tell your christmas wish to glistening chandeliers adorned with red and green colors projected onto the mini lighted fixtures some spaces clean and monochromatic swedish as expected and some fanciful like a childhood memory of a colorful christmas season. Passed my five cents is were working overtime. I smelled holly and evergreen saw the different colors of projected lights felt the unbearable coldness hurt the piano. Playing jazz seasonal selections center to my right or was it to my left and i was greeted at the front reception with champagne and cloud berries something. I don't even think we have an america. The woman behind the ice desk gave me a reindeer skin blanket to put over my shoulders and walked me to an outdoor firepit only steps away on the outside of the building a roaring fire and wonderful ice chairs covered in some more reindeer blankets. My mind was blown away with excitement. What else would i experience. I had just started my four night adventure in this cold winter. Christmas wonderland soon enough. I was handed a mug of coffee with rum. And i knew this was where i wanted to call home forever. More adventurers came to sit by the firepit with the same wide. Eyed wonder and spirited excitement. I smiled but kept my eyes glued to the fire but all the visitors new that the ice and snow wouldn't last long as the ice hotel closed down in april before my trip was over i will have gone across the wilderness in snowshoes. Go on sleigh rides with reindeer. See the northern lights had met the saami people of lapland. I will have eaten swedish. Christmas cuisine and watched the saint lucia event. But for now time stood still as i glazed is over the fire and dreamed later i would be shown to the room. I selected my very own ice room with an actual ice table complete with a mini refrigerator and colored ice sculptures of christmas past and reindeer blankets covering my ice bed and an actual fireplace. I can watch while laying in bed. The time seemed like an endless christmas trip. But also that. If i didn't hurry i'd miss the whole thing in a blink of an eye. I grew sleepy and dreamed of a wonderful time. The one thing i knew was that this wouldn't be my last time here at the ice hotel for christmas yes there would be more visits and perhaps a chance to be a worker in making it all come together for the holiday season later that first night i was given cheese and blog a red wine with rum learning all new things about the swedish way of life hand was going to be a you fork experience for shore

Keith Morrison reads Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas
"How the grinch stole christmas by dr seuss. Every who down in whoville light. Christmas a lot but the grinch live just north of veal did not the grinch hated christmas whole christmas season. Please don't ask why no one quite knows. The reason it could be as head wasn't screwed on just right it could be. Perhaps his shoes are too tight. But i think that the most likely reason of all may have been that. His heart was two sizes too small. Whatever the reason is hard or shoes. He stood there on christmas eve. Hating the who's staring down from his cave with a sour grinchey frown. The warm lighted windows below on the town for he knew every who down in whoville beneath was busy now hanging mistletoe wreath and they're hanging stockings. E snarled with a sneer. Tomorrow is christmas it practically here. Then he growled with his grinch figures nervously drumming. I must find some way to stop christmas from a main for tomorrow. He knew all the who girls and boys would wake brighton early. They'd rush for their toys and then whole the noise show the noise. Doi's noise noise. That's one thing. He hated the noise. Noise noise noise. Then the who's young and old would sit down to a feast. And they feast on they feast and they feast. Feast feast feast. They would feast on who pudding and rare who rose beast which was something that grinch couldn't stand in the least and then they do something he liked. Leashed all every who down in whoville. The tall and this mall would stand close together with christmas bells ringing. They'd stand hand in hand and who's would start singing. They'd sing sing sing. sing sing. Sang and the more the grinch thought of the who christmas saying the more the grinch thought. I must stop this whole thing. Why for fifty three years. I've put up with it now. I'm must stop christmas from coming. But how then he got an idea. An awful idea the grinch gonna wonderful off idea. I know just what to do. The grinch laughed in his throat and he made a quick santa claus hat and a coat and he chuckled and clucked. What a great grinchey trick with this code in this hat. I'll look just like saint. Nick all i need a reindeer. The grinch looked around but since reindeer are scarce there were none to be found. Did that stop the old grinch. No the grinch simply said if. I can't find a reindeer make quan instead. So he called his dog max then. He took some red thread and he tied bighorn on the top of his head. Then he loaded some bags and symbols empty sacks on a ramshackle sleigh and he hitched up old. Max then the grinch said got up and the slaves started down toward the homes. Where the who's they snooze in their town all their windows were dark quiet. Snow filled the air. And the who's were all dreaming sweet dreams without care when it came to the little house on the square. This is stop number one. The old grinchey clause est any climbed to the roof. Empty bags his fist then. He slid down the chimney around tight pinch but if santa could do it then socal the grinch he got stuck only once for a moment or two then. He stuck his head out of the fireplace flu where the little who stockings all hung in a row. These stockings grin are the first things to go. Then he slithered and slunk with a smile most unpleasant around the whole route and he took every president. Pop guns bicycles roller-skates drums checkerboards tricycles popcorn plums. And he stuffed them in day than the grinch buried nibley stuff dole the bags one by one then. He slumped to the ice box. He took the who feast. He took a who pudding. He took the roast beast. He cleaned out the icebox. Quick flash way the grinch even took the last can of who hash

Santa adapts to COVID 19
"Like most of us Santa Claus is adapting to a world with covert nineteen masks and all plays a professional Stanton Florida who makes house calls anything special you would like for Christmas and he explains the center mass two kids I'm trying to be protected from cold but just like everybody else but for pictures the mask usually comes off as long as everyone faces the same direction and not at each other's a been a walking ball that I will catch anything plays loves being Santa and certainly doesn't seem to do it for the money it would be nice if I could afford real leather boots but in true Christmas spirit he says best thing about being Santa is when you could put a smile on a child's face I'm Julie Walker

"Childhood and wonder but others feel. He is filled a role outside his traditional santa duties author. William joyce was fascinated by this idea in santa's history. He wrote an entire series called. The guardians dedicated the sharing sans adventures as the guardian of childhood and wondered walnut truly apart of santa's role in the season of giving. He insisted did give santa a chance to fight for kids another way according to william. That's when he used all his santa clout to reach out to the tooth fairy. Act of the woodland's the sandman jack frost the man in the moon and a few other friends to see if they together wanted to become the guardians. Santa was adamant he wanted to protect childlike. Wonder for all of the kids. William keenan in his nineteen seventies movie. The year without a santa claus has mrs claus communicating with mother nature in order to solve a problem. Dan fogelman in his screenplay for the movie. Fred claus also leans on the notion that the tooth fairy exists. Finally leo benvenuti. And steve rudnick for the one to report on the origin. Story of how. Scott calvin became santa claus and their movie. Santa claus to santa is in a situation that requires meeting with the council of guardians specifically the easter bunny. Cupid the tooth fairy the sandman father time mother nature. We believe it is safe to say that. Some of the authors of santa stories took some liberties of their own to create more entertaining fantastical stories of santa's adventures in the name of entertaining their audiences. We believe the few references we've seen to santa. Being part of such a mystical group of characters is for fiction and entertainment. Only who just isn't enough evidence to support the group's existence unlike santa. There's no macy's day parade that the real mother nature shows up to each year. But we did want to share that with you that santa story can often be distorted by the imagination of others which brings us right back to santa's reality in nineteen seventy-three. The os are in for another surprise. This one bigger than frosty on christmas day when santa got back from the toy run a human baby crawl out of santa's back sin thought about it and realized he must have been one of the babies from the orphanage. She just stopped in fact he remembered hearing something while he was tiptoeing around the orphanage but assumed a rattle fill out of a crib or something like he did. With balbo and frosty. He decided that the little guy could just stay there and grow with the elves when he was older in. The time is right. He tell them as much as you'd like to know about his past and his father who'd been on the naughty list for some time the l.'s. Were more beside themselves. Excited about their new little buddy. The nineteen ninety s started the real technology. Boom at santa's village was so much activity. Santa decided to hold a contest among the to see who could produce the most toys and a limited amount of time buddy. The human oaf was still quite young. Still not a good toymaker. So he didn't participate. Patch the oath. Who pushed for technological innovation. Won the contest with a machine he'd invented but speed doesn't always equal quality. It wouldn't be until christmas day that they found out. The machine couldn't replicate the quality of elf. Construction they had to scramble to replace a bunch of broken toys with good ones. It was quite a disaster. This thoroughly frustrated santa and made him realize the epiphany of christmas spirit hadn't quite hit the elves with christmas of nineteen ninety-five was over. Santa in curtis hold out. The handbook of christmas again and moved. Elves are the only ones allowed to make toys to rule number one and bolted and then santa was surprised again. This time by a past santa claus railway writer the first time in history santa secret railway was made public in a book. Little kris van. All's works book. The polar express became a caldecott medal winner and the new york times bestseller in one thousand nine hundred six and peaked christmas spirit. More than rudolph at santa was surely proud and grateful for the wonderful story but on the flip side kids everywhere now knew about the santa claus railway and kris van osberg had made the sounds so much more. Exciting than it actually. What's the nineteen eighty six kids. We're actually disappointed in how normal it was. Some thought they were getting an inferior train. When the santa claus railway showed up instead of the hot chocolate super ride known as to poor express thinking back to eighteen ninety or so when santa had first arrived in santa's village one of his first tasks was upgrading. Santa claus lane and jingle boesch. Wear to make the christmas eve. Experience wonderful for the kids and then in nineteen forty. They'd made rudolph a feature but he could see now that they had done. Little to upgrade the train experience santana the were so excited by the book and the new global spirit that he created a task force to make sure the santa claus railway was. The most exciting thing succeeds had ever experienced from beginning to end and they weren't going to let one more christmas go by before was done. Plus kris van ellsberg's memory of santa's village was extraordinary to santa. He had always wondered what the riders would remember long-term what they would carry with them throughout their life and one detail. Chris mentioned delighted him as he'd never even considered it. Chris said the silver bells on the reindeers harness. Were the most magical sound. he'd heard to santa. They were in everyday sound but he found it to be the most interesting line in the book and it gave him an idea. About the power of belief the whole idea of the santacruz railway was too deeply ingrained belief in the writers who took it so santa thought he'd have the kids test themselves. He called in the santa claus railway conductor in some of the elves that help on the trip and began to explain the power of christmas spirit. He wanted them to try something with the riders. Before arriving at santa's village he want them to somehow plant the idea in the minds of the children that only kids who believed could hear the bells would the power of belief be able to make that happen and what would nonbelievers due to help. Make the sounds of the bells ring. True he was delighted to see this thought that he'd been wrestling with star to take from. He wasn't sure yet what to do with all the ideas about christmas spirits swirling in his head but this was the start though his search for answers would get a boost. Few years later christopher smith author of get santa was kind enough to capture this story for us on an early practice trip over england prior to christmas. Santa's sleigh crashed and the quick release allowed the reindeer to land sleep while the sled bumped bank for few thousand feet hurriedly. Santa walked back to russel up the reindeer but they were nowhere to be found. He quickly started walking around town looking for the wandering reindeer but it wasn't until nighttime that he found them. They ended up being rounded up by the police and put into offense yard. So what did santa do. He did what any sent would do. He climbed the fence to try and break them out. But please didn't quite see it. The same washing on the cameras. They thought he was a bit crazy in his santa story made it even crazier so. They stuck him in jail when the whole ordeal was over and he realized that crash sleigh were jeopardize all. It's magic power again reinforcing. His thought that somewhere somewhere in christmas spirit was the answer he was looking for in.

"Santa understood the true power of the red suit. He actually gave macy's new reputation in his short stint as their santa. Instead of telling the kids which present to buy macy's toy department he merely listen to them and wish them a merry christmas and if apparent was dismayed that the gift they wanted to buy for their child was not there. Santa would tell them which store they should go to get it. Sadly you got himself into trouble while he was there. Some people just didn't believe he was sent because he told people he was santa. They decided he must be crazy for the first time he ended up in the american court of law to prove we was the story made the newspapers and luckily caught the eye of the us post office without a solution for the loss of james cluck. Santa letters in new york city were just sitting in a dead letter office but now with the real santa claus right down the street at the courthouse. The post office thought it would be best to deliver all those letters directly to him. The judge was so taken by the thousands of letters written to santa and then delivered straight to him by an official office of the us government that he declared chris to be the real santa and the world got a shot of christmas spirit again for the post office. This new publicity led to more people being interested in helping operation santa claus and the program renewed with fervor after the debacle. Santa wanted to make sure the macy's day parade never hired another bad santa so he told them there was only one person he approve of to ride. In the prayed he had put little. Charles w howard on the nice list ever since he was a little boy. Charles had been a lifelong fan of santa claus. He actually got angry inside when he saw people. Dress up santa claus who weren't fit for the job he didn't think santa should have stains or tears in his suit. Were uncombed hair or sneakers instead of boots. He just really thought if you were going to wear a suit to look like santa you should carry the spirit with you. And so charles howard start a santa school to make sure santa's did a right crystal the macy's parade director that he wanted charles howard to represent him in the parade and charles did fr- almost twenty years. Charles howard was the santa. You'd see on tv every thanksgiving morning making santa proud but before he left new york city. He thought he'd have. Mrs claus come visit for a few days. He wanted to show her. All the sites. You'd only heard about the head. Pizza raise went to the top of the empire state building and saw the statue of liberty and mrs claus. Favourite part was seeing the beautiful christmas window displays at stores. Like macy's and saks fifth avenue. Put together window. Displays had become huge tourists nations. In fact the store bond with taylor regularly hired artists including salvador dali in andy warhol to design their windows. Santa really wanted to see the beauty of new york city. Unfortunately they had the cut the trip short. When santa and mrs claus went for a walk through central park and found themselves in a restricted area near pond. They were quickly and rulli away by the central park rangers mumbling under his breath. He vowed to make sure they were on the nautilus forever. And that's the first thing he did when he got back to raises spirits. Papa elf had some good news. He'd met with the winter warlock and they discovered a better way to power the sleigh while the winter warlock had been supplying santa with magic feet he was able to turn the magic feed into a powder they could spray over. The reindeer inflate much more efficient design than stopping to fuel up. Pop elf went to work on a new disbursement engine and redesigning the sled to make it work with all the new innovations santa decided they needed an innovation center. The santa talk -nology center so sanitec was born in a new building was erected in santa's village elf. Bob would become semtex first director of technology. The first trip with the new engine would be just santa in the to ranger. He needed to work on something. That was long overdue letters to santo. We're now backing up all over the world. The single pipeline of letters to rovaniemi was not efficient. There needed to be another way. His first stop would be going over the north pole to fairbanks alaska. He'd heard of a couple out there. Konin nellie who are doing great things and just become the official mail station for north pole. Alaska khanna nellie were happy to have santa at their santa claus and agreed to help him with the dear santa letters and then the next stop on this trip was suffolk england. Their local resident godhra griffin door had offered up a little magic of his own according to christopher smith in his. Get santa story. Mail delivered to the hermes tower in suffolk would magically go straight to santa's hall. Weather's in the same manner. Godhra train transported moguls from london. So now he had rovaniemi fairbanks and suffolk. He also made arrangements with the postal service and send paulo brazil to which they started their father christmas project and he also found a partner with the post offices in brisbane australia south africa and hong kong with the us post offices operations. Santa claus in full bloom. Santa was sure his mail problem was over. He couldn't remember the last time he could just sit. Relax and breathe one night. He and mrs claus sedrine the fireplace reflecting on the years trips they had loved their time in new york city so much. They decided to make a tradition to make more public visits fact they wanted to start doing seven official public visits per year. They would spend time with north pole village in fairbanks alaska. They also decided that the winter you'll festival in norway was a very which was a very popular. Destination would be a great place to stop. And they'd be remiss not making a trip to the home of saint nicholas in my return. The hong kong winter fest was great. The easiest this nation for them would be visiting the. Sami festival in rovaniemi finland and bringing the reindeer. Of course they always asked of santa would come by and finally santa wanted to make the macy's day parade final visit. However mrs claus added that she wanted to surprise one extra town with a special visit each year. She did have one worry about their trips and she wouldn't have gotten it without santa's court experience in new york city. She worried that santa would set his coat down or would take it off and leave it somewhere and then someone else would put it on and they would become sent so as soon as they got back. She made him a new red coat that he could wear most the time. Saving the real one. For the christmas eve. Two-run net brings us to an unplanned moment in the santa claus series. So much happens between nineteen fifty and two thousand twenty that we decided this. Four episode series needed to include a bonus fifth episode conclusion. So if you've been waiting for the appearance of frosty the snowman. Buddy the elf charlie brown and arthur stay tuned for the fifth and final episode of our santa claus biography series. "Away to show the That wouldn't be banned forever. Santo agreed to go there and deliver a few gifts to let the children know. They wouldn't let them down when he arrived. He was surprised to learn that. Christmas had been banned already. One hundred years but azlan had just called him. The country cheered when they learned of santa's arrival and hope that their long winter could be over but for santa the trip to narnia was an eye-opener while he'd spent at least three days in narnia when he returned it was the same moment that he'd left time. It seems had stopped while he was gone or did one hundred years there. Pass in one minute here. How could he stop or even slow town time to deliver all the presence. There is only one person he might know who might have an idea that was claus. Claus arrived in. Santa said he deserved a more respected name than claus in santa claus village. To- clubs that he was more of a grant sent to the else unless he should have that name. Klaus was much obliged and honored to carry the name of grant santa. He told chris that he'd actually considered manipulating time at one point but couldn't find any way to make it possible. He'd spoken to the winter warlock but they had determined he'd need the much more powerful source of energy or magic to make it happen so the quest- continued but with one change now. Santa had an example with santa. An exploratory trip to america was long overdue. The us stock market crash in one thousand nine hundred eighty nine began along depression and he felt his trip needed to be delayed again but america warm santa's heart that christmas even though few had extra money to spend in all were truly struggling kids. All over america had left him cookies and carrots by their christmas tree. The parents of america still wanted to show their respect to the spirit of saint nicholas. They weren't going to let the depression get in the way but during the great depression. People really didn't have money for the extras. Coca-cola was one of those companies that suffered they really suffered in the winter months because they had positioned themselves as the summer drink and now the change that 1931 coca cola hired a firm to help come up with a winter campaign. Their idea was to put coca cola and the hands or sent. All they needed was an artist and they found one. Michigan hadn't sunbong whose parents coincidentally lived in finland just south of romany man hadn't was hired to paint the images he used. Climate clark's moore's description of santa in his poem a visit from saint nicholas to form his own idea. The likes of which were so fantastic in real. You'd think he'd sat down with the man himself even though they were a commercial for coca cola and hadn't ask santa for permission. Mrs claus love sunblock pictures so much. She hung them all around. Santa's village plus hadn't some blom was sort of considered a local kid finland so the finnish government was super proud and they had images everywhere remembering back to episode three nineteen thirty nine. That was the year robert l. May wrote the story about rudolf. Pet story actually took santa by surprise as he'd barely remembered that day there had been a large storm bruin and it had been a foggy day and he'd actually considered canceling christmas that year but for the most part he hadn't really thought about that year for a long time. Rudolph was one of his favorites but he wasn't strong enough to lead the toy run every year but now with the advent of the book he was by far the most loved reindeer ball so santa decided to make him part of the santa claus railway event each christmas eve though he'd been thankful many times for that day turning the abominable man from foe to friend was a huge relief for santa's village and probably the longest lasting memory and abominable was a big help to the house that same year the world we would be plunged into war war too and that meant more tough years for santa making the toy run in europe would be difficult again and this time around. There was no christmas truce. Many governments and enacted rationing in the. Us citizens were only allowed to purchase. Small amounts of many high demand products like sugar meat. T- butter making it hard to make christmas. Cookies and other seasonal treats since most of the materials needed to make ornaments were being rationed people started making homemade ornaments again. Paper cloth and other natural materials like pinecone feeling nostalgic and missing home or missing their soldiers abroad. Bing crosby's i'll be home for christmas and white. Christmas topped the charts as well as judy. Garland's have yourself a merry little christmas soldiers in germany weren't hearing the popular american hits however but they were here. In familiar tune morgen kommt der divine. Oxman was the beloved hit their translated into english. It is santa's coming tomorrow while they probably didn't understand the lyrics they certainly knew the tune written in eighteen. Thirty seven hoffman fond followers be wrote the poem der vinik men and set it to the tune of twinkle twinkle little star. But i bet you had an inkling of that already and with the minute war listening to that women took on the role of department store. Santa claus back at home in iceland. One thing that wasn't rationed was paper products because of that. Icelanders gave books as christmas gifts and created a sort of unofficial holiday called joel baca flawed or christmas book fled every christmas eve to this day. You'll find icelanders huddled by a fire with a hot cup of cocoa reading books. Iceland soon became a favorite place to visit for santa finally in nineteen forty seven. Santa decided to make his trip to america to new york city. He wanted to walk the streets and meet the people to find out more about what made them excited about christmas with salvation army santa's ringing their bells on every corner. Santa had mixed feelings about seeing people dressed him. One of the first fellows he met was the man scheduled to pay santa in the macy's day parade but he was drunk. Santa was disgraced immediately informed the parade manager of the debacle and then without them. Having a santa fill fill-in he found himself on top of afloat. Anchoring the macy's day parade the one. He'd always been so proud of in fact if you were watching the macy's day parade on thanksgiving nineteen forty seven. You've had a rare clips of santa claus himself. Macy's thought he did such a good job. They asked that he be the santa in their stores. Well one or more about the spirit. He did just that and that's when he got his first taste of the bad side of christmas. The day after thanksgiving people from all over the rushed into the city to shop it was a nightmare for the police and they dubbed it black friday. Santa wasn't inspired by all the greedy capitalism for sure but he did meet a young kid who loved donning the santa suit when asked why he loved it he told santa. I love seeing the look on the kids faces when they talk to me and i give them a cane. It makes me feel important side and all at once..

"They left the role of santa in good hands however they chose a man who devoted his entire life to giving in nineteen twelve author. Sarah addington published a book about him called. The boy lived in pudding lane. You can see in his story that he was born to be santa. Starting in bucks male in the parish of wolford is worthy on the coast of devon in england with the baker and his wife nellie and their five sons they were the most popular bakery in town primarily because their eldest son gave away all the best pastries and treats kicked oh puppies or gingerbread to the kids in the neighborhood despite that the baker it always said business was good. Incidentally they would regularly praise richard cole their parliamentarian for making sure the parish was run. Well that same. Richard cole would one day become enshrined in the poem. Old king cole. One day their oldest son overheard his dad. The baker say business would be great if the sun giving away all the treats to the neighborhood kids. There was the first time he understood that his giving came with a price so that night he had an idea in the back yard near the shed was a pile of old sticks and kindling an extra wide pieces. He didn't think using them would hurt anyone and cleaning up the area would be great so he spent the next few weeks wiling away his time in the woodshed using the wood scraps to make toys for his brothers since his brothers were overly curious. He decided to hide his toys in a box on the roof the night before christmas. No one could find their eldest son. They looked everywhere with all the neighbors helping up and down the streets of town but being so cold out. They reconvened at the baker's house in hopes of starting a fire in the fireplace before going back out just then they heard a rustle in the chimney and lo and behold they began to see the boots of their eldest son. Slide down into the fireplace. He was dressed all in red and his box of toys after he gave his brothers the toys and saw the looks on their faces. He knew he would forever be making toys for them and when the neighbors added their praise for such wonderful presence and wishes that their kids would have had some like it. He vowed to spend all year making toys for all the kids in town. It was a dream come true. When as an adult klaus showed up to talk to him about becoming santa christmas had been banned where he lived and he feared he and his wife would not be able to give toys to kids anymore. Classes arrival meant. He didn't have to face the heartbreak of a band christmas. He could continue making toys and gifts for all the other children of the world and for the next forty years. The new santa and mrs claus did their best to make children smile wherever they could england. America and scotland had all band. Christmas was tough years for the spirit of saint nicholas pulitzer prize winning author. Phyllis mcginley documented one of the events during that tough period in santa story in her book the year without a santa claus. She noted that one year santa had caught a cold just before. Christmas and his doctor told him that he should probably rest this year with a few more places. Banning christmas santa was in a miserly mood pondering. Who cares anymore. Anyway author ogden. Nash famously wrote another poem about his crankiness that year. In the boy who laughed at santa claus he reporting that santa turned snotty young job as dawes into a jack in the box and dropped him off at the island of misfit toys. But you can't believe everything you read. Of course mrs claus in the elves took exception at santa's miserliness. They knew he'd be letting down most of the kids of the world if he missed christmas. So mrs claus in the elves jingle and jangle devised a plan jingle jangle we're going to take vixen and find proof that the world was still excited about santa coming. They were going to bring it back. To sent to reinvigorate his spirit. Bad weather caused three to land in a place called south town place. So far south it streets were lined with palm trees walking around town. They started to realize that. No one in town believed in santa or the christmas spirit. Were still when a policeman saw vixen. Off its leash. He took him to the pound. He didn't believe jinguan jangle that vixen was one of santa's reindeer but told them they were welcome to plead their case directly to the mayor. The mayor was indignant. He hadn't ever been visited by santa claus and didn't believe jingle jangle story but he did have the spirit of saint nicholas in his heart instead of asking for money or something to spring vixen. The only thing the mayor wanted was for it to snow on christmas day in south it never snowed and he wanted his town to experience the christmas they only heard about. He said if they could make that happen he'd release vixen. When jingle jangle reported that to mrs claus she smiled. She wanted that for the people of south town as well with help of a little magic santa. Mrs claus were delighted to help the mayor to deliver a wonderful snowy christmas. Their santa was extremely proud of the three and thankful for their help and saving christmas. One of the joys jingle and jangle received from their time in south town was learning about cocoa or hot chocolate it was quite prevalent in south town and the elves opinion should have kept them. Happy all year. Santa was intrigued by the south town. Experience palm trees no snow and cocoa. He really wanted to understand different cultures. Better as e hoffman mentioned in his nutcracker story. Cinta ask them to start by gathering chocolates from spain and brussels chestnuts from france web kucan from germany coffee from arabia. Tea from china and sugar plums from italy. While gathering kucan germany. The elves came across another great treat in cologne in sixteen seventy their church. The tolls church in the world with its double spires was preparing for the upcoming christmas eve. Service the choirmaster was thinking of ways to help. Keep the children entertained. During the long service he had an idea. Candy sticks but candy was frowned upon during church so he had the candy store owner bend a little hook at the top a crook to make them look like the staff's shepherds carry and the kids service was a success. The kids loved these candy. Canes and soon after so did the world and then in sixteen eighty one. Christmas was reinstated in england. Santa and mrs claus were so excited that lit the fire in them that one day they could go back. Forty more years of being santa and mrs claus. They decided to retire back to bucks mill and hand over the spirit of saint nicholas to another after that the seventeen hundreds were all about the world getting reintroduced to the season of giving jonas hanway. The second unmarried center had taken over the role he had been a prominent philanthropist in london before being called to the north pole santa thought he'd be perfect for the role not only had.
