Sebastian Asks Rep. Claudia Tenney 'Are We Winning?'

"Welcome back to one on one with none other than congresswoman Claudia tenney. Claudia. Let me blow your trumpet politely. When you came in into the studio earlier today, you know, we get politicians in the studio. You know, the good guys and good girls come in here. And the remarkable thing about them, especially in your cases, you come in, I say, would you like a coffee would like anything last? And then I got out of the studio to get you a bottle of water. And I'm looking everywhere in the green room. Where's her retinue? Where's her entourage? Is a member of Congress. Where are the Strata? Where are the PR people? And there's nobody. So this just reinforces for me why you're the best example of what we need in America, not career politicians, like Nancy like charcot who have been around for decades, but people who see themselves as Americans representing their fellow Americans, I'm going to ask you the question I asked all of the good guys and gals. Are we winning? Is that side? Is it burgeoning? Is it growing? You know, the freedom caucus the people who don't want to say this way. I went to the members dining room to have lunch with a couple of supreme caucus people. And I asked them, is it as bad on the inside as I think it is from the outside? And one of them said, you know, the trouble is even in the GOP, 30, 40% of us, they just want the job. They want the chairmanship with the chauffeur driven limo and they want the office with the fireplace. You do not represent that to me. So who's winning? Who's in the driving seat? What's the power relationship between The Old Guard and the citizen politicians like you? You know, it's a tough crowd. I'll tell you it's a funny story. Look at I had to fight against the establishment in both parties just to get elected to the state assembly. I had to defeat the county chairman. Wow. And so they were all working against me. And they always have. I never got endorsed by our local party. The Republican Party, running for office ever until after I was elected to Congress. So you won without any endorsement. No, I had to run a primary had to put my own team together, so I know what it's like to be, you know, I'm also a lawyer or a business owner. I know what it's like to, but I'm trying to do, I'm trying to stand for our country and stand for our small business community and what we need to do. I don't see myself as part of a group or other than I want to represent my constituents. I'll tell you funny stories. When I first got into the state assembly, I remember this old time assembly member who had here I am coming from the private sector. I don't know what pensions are. I don't know any of this stuff. And you know, I'm all worried. I could care less if I, you know, use a folding chair and have a folding table. I mean, it doesn't really matter any of that stuff. And so this one person came up and said, oh, I can't believe, you know, we were minority members, Republicans, and the Democrats were in the majority, and they said, did you see the Democrats got all new mahogany deaths to new computers? And we should have mahogany desk. I'm like, no, you shouldn't have a haggy desk. We don't need that stuff. We need to govern. We need to understand the taxpayers. And I love the Jeffersonian idea. I mean, we are not supposed to be doing these jobs forever, which is why one of my first bills when I got into the assembly was, let's take all the politicians who are elected and appointed off of the pension system and put them in a 401k case to system because if you're going to serve and you want to you shouldn't have to leave and not be able to at least contribute to your own retirement, because I was really these non contributory pensions and then and of course that was not met with much approval. An old friend of mine, Mike Fitzpatrick, Fitzpatrick and the assembly. He was part of it, too. You know, what are we doing? How are we in a position where we're benefiting from something we're

NY Rep. Claudia Tenney Shares Her Backstory and Connection to the Former Yugoslavia

"First welcome back to our one on one end studio in discussion with New York's congresswoman Claudia teddy. For those who aren't familiar with your backstory. I didn't even know it until you came in today. You said you mentioned my book, and then you said you sold me on TV and you bought my book, which talks about my parents who escaped Hungary under communism and then mentions what was happening next door in Yugoslavia. Share with us who aren't familiar or who aren't from your district, your connection to the Balkans in the Eastern Europe. I'm not of Yugoslavia in descent or Balkan descent, but I did actually see you and I said, oh, look, you know, because one of my jobs when I worked at the former Yugoslav consulate, which is obviously gone because of the war. We're still look for people in the Balkans, people in the region, and I just, you know, anyone with a sort of the accident, even though Hungarian is not similar to several creations to different route language, I just said, oh, who's this guy? Oh, he's talking about hungry. Interesting because of all that was happening and Yugoslavia being so unique, technically not behind the iron curtain. Tito was able to keep him out of the common form. So I went to Yugoslavia as a student in 1981, 40 years ago, just for a study group and ended up falling in love with the place to just so diverse and interesting and continued to stay there. Work for the consulate worked on the Olympics in Sarajevo in 1984. Learn the language, you know, just continue to go back and then obviously through the war, it was a tough time for me. I had friends from every part of the country, the former years of everywhere. Because we all worked in the consulate together, and so that's been my connection and just living in a country that was communist and then seeing the transformation since the war and them trying to emerge as a market economy, and reading your book where you hear about you're talking about some of the things that happened and how a lot of Hungarians were trying to cross through Yugoslavia and get to freedom and how Tito basically turned them in. And they read the benevolent dictator who was Marshall, Joseph pizza, right? Right, yeah, so called benevolent dictator, and that's where I, you know, I think we're on this moment in American history where people should learn that when they say we have communism we've never just done it quite right, and we had a benevolent dictator in Tito, not a benevolent dictator. Tito had a dissident camp where people were tortured and killed on a barren island in the Adriatic Sea. So it's all these communists. And he played and he played the nationalities. Right. Slovenes vice the Croatians, the Croatians versus the Serbs. Yeah, and technically he was Croatian, but first and foremost he was a communist. Right. He was able to bridge the gap and keep an allied relationship with the Americans and with kind of keeping everyone at bay to maintain this sort of artificial union of these countries and Yugoslavia, which wants Tito died. You know, they devolved into war within about ten

"And we are delighted to have with us somebody who I don't even want to call her a politician because she is and every time she comes on the show every time we see her speak, it's like an American. It is a citizen and that's what we need more of. Representing the 22nd congressional district of New York, congresswoman Claudia, welcome to one on one. Well, thank you for thank you for that great introduction. It's an honor to be on, of course. We have so much to discuss, especially we're going to talk about what a zuckerbuck is and your special, yes, your election integrity efforts will discuss that just give me lots of like a box. We'll talk about what is happening to the economy. We'll talk about recent events in D.C.. But first things first, tell us a little bit about your take as a mother of a marine as somebody who is deeply vested in the security of this nation. I want people not to forget what happened just barely a couple of months ago in Kabul. Give us your take from the inside from a member of the political elite of the last ten months of national security leadership in this nation. Yeah, let me just first say my deepest condolences to those families on the death of those 13 service members and women two women were also killed. Needlessly, we honor our gold star families, we actually did a vigil in my community to honor those 13 that were killed in August. And we also honored our gold star families from the latest wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nothing is more. Nothing more painful than to see service members killed in action, especially in a situation which shouldn't have happened. And that is why it's so tragic to watch. This whole I can't express how sad it was to see that that it actually happened. But we saw the chaos, developing on the ground, each day got worse, as Biden put forth his mission to remember how it started. And I remember the first committee. He said, I want to move out of Afghanistan and pull all our troops out on September 11th because it was symbolic day. Yeah, he wanted that photograph. He wanted that sound. I told that us out of Afghanistan. Is if the mission were not to advance freedom to ensure the safety and security of America, to protect our foreign assets, there are bases 85 billion in change of equipment left there with our enemy the Taliban to leave them to take back over and not understanding the callousness of President Biden to not see how devastating that was, especially to a New

"Think about. Which is Pretty terrible. Then there's the story of Nancy Pelosi. Pretty ugly move as I see it. There was a new member of Congress. The name is Claudia Tenney, representative Claudia Tenney, and because of some vote counting there in New York, she wasn't sat until yesterday or the day before. Back and forth very, very small margin of victory. So she's finally declared the winner. It's a Republican. She's gonna get sworn in. At the original swearing in. Every member was allowed one person to be with them covert rules, things like that. Claudia Tenney, representative Kenny Wants your son to be with her. A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy. "Sense of humor when I'm feeling low, so since the election, anyone who claimed that there were irregularities, fraud, you name it. Was kicked off of Twitter. People lost their jobs. Lou Dobbs was just fired from Box business. And yet In New York. Crazy story. In New York, the last congressional race from the November election. Has finally been decided nearly 14 weeks after election date and no, they wouldn't run off. Winner has finally been declared in the last unresolved congressional race. Republican challenger Claudia Tenney. Has been declared the winner in New York's 22nd Congressional district, unseating incumbent Anthony Brindisi by 109 votes. Which gives Republicans 213 House seats just five short of a majority. State Supreme Court Justice Scott Del Conte ruled on Friday that quote every single valid vote that was cast in New York's 22nd congressional district has been accounted for and counted. Any leads Brindisi by 109 votes. Doug Kellner, co chairman of the State Board of Education's confirmed that tinny will be declared the winner. Now. What's interesting? Is that in his decision, Judge Del Conte blasted county election officials for quote, systemic violations of state and federal election law. There were violations of state and federal election law. Bring D C. The Democrat. Says that there was fraud in the election, and that's why he lost. Doesn't that undermine? Democracy to claim fraud in the election. So on Friday and really into the weekend. There was a a nar tickle that appeared and time magazine that has surprised Ah, lot of people. And the article relates. Here's the headline. The secret history of the shadow campaign that saved the 2020 election. So I've got a guest coming up in the next segment, so it won't get through this entire article event. It's a lengthy one. But I want to sign posted today and go back to it through the course of the week. If you would like to read it for yourself. I'm gonna read that title again. I would encourage you to take. It's going to take you 30 minutes to get through it. What it's going to do is validate everything you've thought about this election. And coming from Media source. Time magazine on the left. They basically just decided. Listen. We were going to tell you that we didn't cheat. But what the hell Yeah, we did, And there's nothing you can do about it. They don't say cheat per se, they say fortify the election. Couple of lines from in here. Wouldn't we? Let's see. Hold on. That was Yeah. A second odd thing happened amid Trump's attempts to reverse the result, Corporate America turned on him hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump's candidacy and supported his policies. Called on him to concede to the president. Something felt a miss. Trump said on December 2nd. It was all very, very strange. Within days After the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner. Even while many key states were still being counted. In a way, Trump was right. There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprise is where the result of an informal alliance between left wing activists. And business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse little noticed joint statement of the U. S. Chamber of Commerce and the A F L C e O published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain. Inspired by the summer's massive, sometimes destructive racial justice protests in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital To keep the peace. And oppose Trump's assault on democracy. The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast cross partisan campaign to protect the election. An extraordinary shadow effort dedicated, not toe winning the vote. But to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and Uncorrupted. Well. When somebody tells you That they Broke into the bank. And took a few million dollars. Because they really felt like the poor Children and homeless people. Needed better food and housing. You could say, Well, that's quite the Robin Hood effort. Or you could say, um That's burglary. And theft. So what? I suppose you could define this as Protecting the election. Or I suppose you could define it as stealing the election. Their words, not mine. The Actions that actually occurred. So, as I said, I can't get into all of this right now. I would encourage you to go read it for yourself. It's a good read. It comes from the left. But it breaks it down piece by piece. One of them is a section called the Architect. Sometime in the fall of 2019 might producer became convinced the election was headed for disaster, and he determined to protect it. This was not his usual purview. For nearly a quarter century. Po Dozer, senior advisor to the president of the A. F L. CIO, the nation's largest union federation, has marshaled the latest tactics and data to help it's favored candidates. When elections. Unassuming and professorial. He isn't the sort of hair jailed political strategist who shows up on cable news. And then it goes through the various things. That he did. Including the fact that they had to stop Trump because Trump had a blue collar supporter base. That Po Dozer feels rightfully belongs to the union bosses. So his point is, Trump shouldn't win those votes anyway. I'll come back to this because we're up against a break and I've got a guest come in. I'm gonna come back to this because I think it's important. But I encourage you in the meantime, to go read it for yourself. It's in Time magazine you read time dot com The secret history of the shadow campaign. That saved the 2020 election snowflakes that trigger you prepare for a complete meltdown with more of the Michael very show..
