"Tore through parts of Ohio and Indiana overnight. The Bristol County days off investigates, a Fall River praise for what the city's diocese calls credible allegations of sexual misconduct. Police in Claremont New Hampshire. Look for a man who shot a dog in a public park as house speaker Nancy Pelosi deals with members of the congressional caucus calling for President Trump's impeachments. It's also becoming a talking point among some of those vying for the democratic presidential nomination. I spoke with ABC, Sherry Preston about how this issue is shaping up on the campaign trail. Twenty-three democrats. The nomination are really issuing calls to start the impeachment process. The most vocal are senators warn in camera here is they're saying that. Warn there's no political inconvenient exception to the United States constitution go down this path, but Nancy Pelosi is really keeping her caucus in the house in line when it to peach and cheese. They need to see and use all the mechanisms available to them before going down that path, because she does not believe it'd be to their benefit, not only in how it will divide the country. But looking at the twenty twenty and she and democratic leaders, don't believe they can win the twenty twenty election based on impeachment proceedings because most Americans don't really want to go down that path. And that's why Nancy Pelosi. He said, they're not going to go down that path unless there's firm bipartisan support, or people looking very much what happened to Republicans back in the late nineties when they impeached, Bill Clinton. That did not work to their benefit. In fact, public sentiment win his side around those impeachment. And that's one thing that they are damning and looking at when it comes to this, and they also say that they know impeachment can be very divisive for the country when you look at twenty eight day one based on issues like healthcare, and that's where they believe they can continue to win, especially going into twenty twenty are the big topic areas that they can garner support around not on impeaching president. I think they to look at the investigations that they believe they're still winning it, especially when they point to the court. There's two major court ruling that congress has the ability and they upheld their powered subpoenaed. The executive branch and investigate the president. And that's what they want to have their investigations continue down versus just jumping right into an impeachment process, two dozen or so, Democrats that are running for the presidential nomination. Is this going to be a central question in that? Battle. Or is it because it's divisive nature going to be avoided really diving into it. Like I said, there are those vocal senators warn camera Harris, but most around rounded, the vast majority are saying, we don't believe we should go down that path until we had adopted all other options, like speaker Pelosi Senator Bernie standard for former vice president Joe Biden, and the two front runners are saying they don't believe they should go down impeachment until there's no alternative. Now. They say at the same time that if the administration keep still while in congressional investigations, then perhaps they should go down that path. But they don't wanna go down. At like I said, without bipartisan support unless there's no other option than we look at the investigations that they're currently undertaking. The court are siding with members of congress on, on those legal fronts. And that's why they want to continue those multiple investigative streams, Sherry Marshall. There are no ten candidates vying to replace British Prime Minister Theresa. Lisa may is the person who can pull off Brexit more from ABC's Tom rivers in lung among those entering the brutal campaign environment. Secretary Michael go people wants to see the referendum mandate on it. And we must all know that mandate before the general election. Assumed to be departing. Theresa May was unable to negotiate an acceptable European exit deal. So it will be up to her successor to do just that and quickly, the next exit deadline looms at the end of October. Tom rivers, ABC news. London bridge were among the European voters who went to the polls over the weekend. Select representatives for the European Union. Parliaments ABC's. Julia MacFarlane reports from London, it was the polarizing candidates that seem to do the best far-right parties did well in France. Melting lapenne who is that far-right firebrand? He beat the president's party, the socialists in Spain, the votes they go the biggest share of the vote. Now voters see elections as an opportunity to bash the establishment, so they are a good weather vane for how is feel but you do have to take these results with a pinch of British voters seem to be split as well with the most support going too far right? Proponents of Brexit or far left. Supporters of the green party. Get the story on WBZ. Boston's.

"Arrested in the death of a thirteen year old girl who was dropped off last week at Lawrence, General Hospital. A priest in Fall River removed from the parish, after a credible allegation of sexual abuse from over thirty years ago, a dog and Claremont New Hampshire shot at a park. Police are investigating as the dog has surgery today. And President Trump speaks to US troops before he left Japan. He's now on his way back to Washington. And just in the past week here in New England. We have had a new case of measles in New Hampshire in potential exposure warnings parts of the cell shore an outbreak that has hit other parts of the country as well. In fact, it's one of the worst of the disease that we have seen some twenty-five years at Z's many thought would be a radicalized by twenty nineteen as we dive deeper into this outbreak. ABC's Jim Ryan is covering the story from Dallas and he joins us now. Live, Jim nearing one thousand cases across the country is at simple, logic to assume, MRs just going to get worse. I think that's what the centers for disease control and prevention uses Suming, Jimmy. Yes, these numbers will rise right now at nine hundred forty worst outbreak since nineteen ninety four and again, a disease CDC and other public health officials had assume had been a radical way back in two thousand twenty six states now has as of the past week or involved more than half. And yes, it's expected that more will be involved in the next report comes out. We come out, and there have been four airports across the country that I've read about that have seen a case of the measles, traveling through their gates are transportation hubs, a place that can be sensitive to exposure. Absolutely. And because the assumption is that many of the cases, here, maybe all of them in this country, originated, somewhere else in New York state, for example, is thought that someone brought it in from Israel, someone who had not been backs needed before leaving went to Israel picked up measles. Brought it back here and started to the what is almost an epidemic in parts of that place. So yes, they're very sensitive to that of passenger came through the W airport about a week and a half ago then now public health departments here are trying to track down, everybody who was in contact with that person leads to let them know that they showed watch for any symptom. So sure places like. Yep. All LAX the New York state of airports as well. Everyone just watching out for this and is this really just a simple fact of people not getting vaccinations or other other issues at play. Well, let's. Let's. That, that people there are movement going on right now. The fan. Some connection between the vaccination visit event seen drugs and autism, the CDC in public. Health officials say that just isn't true vaccine has been tested over decades and that not only does it. No, cause his image even more effective than the typical flu vaccine there. Use those thinking. If you were born before nineteen fifty seven, you're, you're Indio, because measles, was very prevalent, and everybody got it, essentially. And then they became view them once they had it if you were born between fifty seven sixty eight you probably had the first measles vaccine, which might not have been to effective. So you're one of these baby boomers born between those two years might wanna get your doctor to take a look make sure that you are vaccinated. And if you need a shot to get it. All right. ABC's Jim Ryan on the measles outbreak, as we are climbing towards one thousand cases across the country. Ten forty nine on WBZ will summer is almost here. And so is the. For warnings about mosquitoes carrying the West Nile virus can Martin has more from Saint Louis. First cases of the year of mosquitoes testing positive for the West Nile virus have been confirmed in Illinois, so far. No human cases have been reported last year state health officials counted one hundred seventy six human cases of the virus in seventy four Illinois counties, seventeen people died from the virus last year in Illinois nationwide last year, West Nile cases were reported in forty nine states and the district of Columbia, according to the CDC Kent, Martin, ABC news, Saint Louis lawmakers in Texas, breaking with the NRA on.
