"So how Francis can order lives their poverty and defines that poverty in their own constitutions, I think is up to the community and how they write their constitutions. But a Franciscan order who doesn't see their center as poverty. I don't think makes a whole lot of sense. Then they become something else. And certainly that's to for Claire. And for every poor Clare sister that I know. Poverty and the living of poverty and the embrace of poverty in whatever form in whatever way that means a spiritual poverty, a real physical poverty, there are all different kinds of ways we live our poverty, whatever that means for a particular community. Without that, Franciscan is loses its home, I think. It loses its roots. I think you see it so dramatically, and Claire's life that by giving up what would have been considered the luxury of the type of nobility that she had and the prestige and just the comfort that that would afford her in her lifetime. It actually freed her by embracing poverty. Yes. It gave her freedom that couldn't have been experienced unless she had made that sacrifice. No, because otherwise, I mean, I describe the kind of life she would have had. It's pretty horrific. So yes, she was free and not only free personally, but she was able to give from her freedom. For franciscans, a poverty, is not a drury, horrible thing. Poverty is a gift that never stops giving. So for instance, we know from Claire, there's a document we have, whereas someone gave one of the sisters in Claire's monastery, probably another part of her inheritance. And they distributed that. She's in the monastery. They already gave away her dowry, and now she gets more, and they give this away. So having that poor Clare monastery in that part of, you know, in that part of the mountains at that point.

"Now, how did Claire come about to hear about Saint Francis? Obviously, when you hear Saint Francis of assisi, saint Clare of assisi, what's the connection there, sister? Well, they live, you know, they live as neighbors, basically. It's just up a short street up. From one house to the other from Frances is also declares house. Everyone in town knew Frances because he was such an incredible entertainer. This guy had the ability to sing. He had the ability to act. He could make up acts on the spur of the moment. He was just incredibly talented. He dazzled the Pope. You know, the Pope didn't give the Franciscan order permission to exist because they had a good rule. Because they didn't. It was a tough one. The Pope heard Francis preach. And he was amazed. I mean, he just kind of gave them permission to do. And they weren't given permission to do church preaching. They were given permission to do preaching in the town square. And this was basically the entertainment of the Middle Ages, so the Pope saw that he was good. He put on great dramas. We have he did the whole nativity. I mean, he knew how to connect the sun was basically a religious play. And we know that because Francis, when he's writing the second act of that, basically, he gave the brothers directions as far as how to perform it. So Francis is very talented in those ways. So Claire obviously being a woman of a CZ and loving religious art and loving religious drama and anything religious. Had contact with Francis in that way, Francis was not a quiet soul. So in a small town of assisi, declare definitely knew of Francis. However, Claire was a woman known for her spirituality in her own right before Frances came on the scene. Really? Yes. And it seems that Francis actually courted her. Now why would

"A card to fill out And which would then be sent to the libraries librarian in north harrison allied. And you had to take a boy okayo and all the subjects that you're interested in and put your name there. And i remember because i'd read or the boys books in old institute library and the girls. It gale and we wanted to have a go at everything. And i kicked everything else. As well i'd get non fiction fiction poetry adventure everything so the librarian that chose for me just basically had had free once you got there so we had this fantastic thing with happen that once a month that passes would get delivered not always by trains. Eventually as the train services drops it was by bass but they would still be dropped off at the railway station and deadwood ring and say you know the kids the postles. The book passes a here so we would go over and again in my image. We've all seven a wearing clothes. Made of curtains handing sure wasn't like that. I'm but you know we go across to the parcel shade. Which was next to the station building and dead would be an handling at the to everybody else. That was coming. Bill parcells arrived and then each of us kids would get a book. Pasol and for me buy books. Were already magical to me. Because i was reading since i was a four year old and i loved books thin but to get your own possible with your own name on it and i used to wrap it and do you remember that kind of corrugated. Cardboard that rep. Adopting that then brown pipe and then string. Sam comes to santa music again. Please warranted and so you get your part on intake home and you'd unwrap it. And because i had been so enthusiastic with my my box. Ticking i never knew what was going to be in that that parcel when it could be everything from you. Know how to how to sail a boat. Which would be very clear when one dribbling creek or a detective story or a mandic story or all sorts of books and then you get to read my brothers and sisters books as well and then then the nightmare the end of the month of trying to gather them all in. Find them all Back to the library at exactly would take them back. And so i mean that must have been is almost as good as santa arriving when those parcels arrived are i really loved..

"We were the only kids in australia. That could wave goodbye to our dead at the you know. The guy's white for twelve seconds as you drove off in way vizier arrived as well. You see him when the hell snakes store to the state a good question. He wasn't the most athletic of and let me say that but also perhaps it was a boy of getting away from us really quickly or maybe that's got into work. My mom couldn't get in the car he needed to uptight. Exactly it's a good getting up inside. Isn't that funny. I never thought to think we just to just preferred to drive. I mean as i said you know dead. There wasn't the most athletic so he did even drive down to the mainstream that we already like it was. It was five minutes walk. And we drive down there to get some milk or something but there us for the seven of us and particularly. I love going up to visit and being as helpful as i could and i can still remember. They're kind of panicked. Look on some debts clocks. You know 'cause we'd just johnny and it was. It was a lovely room to come into because it was a station office and built like a country. Railway stations are like you see in films now but So we from our house. You'd walk across an you'd be able to see the tracks you're kind of almost walking side of the tracks indianapo- little ramp along the platform itself an to then under the veranda and in all wooden doors and then enter the station office and the head of big would encounter those a lot of would in in a room and they had a wood fire in there to enable smote so there was a real sense of unity dismissal of wood smoke and cigarette smoke and i can really clearly remember standing running my hand up and down along the wooden counter Waiting for to get off the phone or you know one of the clocks kind look in lose the panicked expression in welcoming them and if we were lucky that they won't be cnn Let us come in and help in different ways so they have one of those big pencil. Sharpness attached to the counter That you had to spin a handle round around to shop in it. And i love doing things like that. And and they had lots of the wooden sorting shelves and things so different labels were in the for the for the western fragile aches or urgent and so sometimes we were allowed to sort those out and tidy those out The trains didn't come often when we were kids but one thing that did come every year was the father christmas and and so that was always al beqaa that they all the way kids. So you know the station..

"I think sometimes. When i across a new location i think get a little bit of inspiration is though you know. This is how myself to look in this location. And it's obviously it's been really hard to cove it. But then i think i've been quite lucky during covert. I've found two or three. That really inspired me to go out and take so. Fatos lockdown was hard for photographers. And i think people did lose inspiration as to you know. What can i go and photograph from broth because it was me just me. Doing southport traits are still manage to to to keep that sort of fun urge to go out and take photos. W it wasn't that often are still find a couple of places to guy which that was no. It was eating well down. I don't want to give anybody listening. The impression that these two volumes representing the entire of your work. There's a whole bunch of it out there and for fortunate for all of us folks if you go to the frames facebook page and click on. Clair's named there is a wonderful collection of images. Recent images right there as well and some of them are with the mask and with the kind of things that we've been talking about but some of them are not as as well. There's some great street work here. There's some wonderful portrait of a small boy. There's there's subdued double exposure things going on here clear. Pick one pick one of these recent ones that you think is is emblematic of where you are right now. Dr. online to mix it up because take other other photos. i'm probably street phases. I would lean towards your other than the self cellphone traits. I found some interesting photography in particularly eastern european locations potent. Because there's so much character on the streets and a quite like doing shots on your street photography Thing if frequencies on on the person again nothing images quite simple..

"The landscape and people often peace with trees in forests nothing that particular moment. Bats tranquillity being on the Looking out either. United these landscape. It's a it's a beautiful image and it. It's funny that you say you're at this 'cause this picture taken either. In autumn or in winter the trees are all bear and you have some wonderful juxtapose juxtaposition between the trees and then the wood of the cross itself. You did you do say somewhere out there. I think this is a discussion on the frames facebook. page somebody asked. What does your picture meaning and you say i leave it up to the viewer. You know to come up with the meetings. But that's not entirely maybe eighty percents. You're still doing a lot of art direction here. You're still doing a lot of you. Come up with a meaning but you know this is not an ad for chevrolet Th this is. I i have a point. I'm making here. How do you go about thinking about loneliness in a way. That is provocative for others and not just self expression always think that view. I should look deep enough into get an understanding of the meaning behind. I don't always think that somebody has to put in a big stamping title on to say. Oh this is this is what it means. I always want. My view is to look into the image in think to themselves. Oh i wonder what the story is. I wonder what she's trying to say. And that's how. I like to leave the image for me so just expressing my feelings of how i might feel a certain point in time or assertain location but you do have these these bits of text. That are on the facing page of every image. They're not captions. They are bits of lyrical. Evocative of prose poetry. Tell me what's going on there for me. The book Something that i want to leave behind for my family. My children who don't necessarily know how much i have hidden in my mind..

"World absolutely and i think also for me when when you have a moscone in a picture you're looking beyond who the person because you didn't know who the person is. You can't recognize them. Because i go to fox moscone knows when i looked like very few people who see my factors up to you know what i look like and i don't want them to recognize me as i present myself to the world. The mosque and the person that is the other half of me the other. Half of ruben. liberty news. we should tell everybody that in in these images the mask is is not just little bit covering it's a full face. Plain white i would call it a harlequin mask but not painted or anything and in all of the images. You were wearing a striped shirt and dark pants. Very much. like the stereotypical image of a of a french mime. The pictures are all self-portraits. And you are at some distance in in most of these these are these are not close ups generally. Yeah because i want to have the whole feeling of where i am. I won't be atmosphere of the location and the voss nisa fats and the desolate nature to a lot of the locations. I've been tape so these are fairly lonely or isolated. I would have to really think which. Which i think is more prominent but isolated images is what what is the relationship between the landscape and yourself in these images. What is it. You're trying to get at loneliness. I think when when you look a lot of the images the does nothing else where it's me solitudes and the weather plays a lot when i to fight a graph on a bright sunny day. You'll never see me out with a camera doing self Traits overcast Some other peaches taken in like Minus twenty degrees in canada. I think the flatness of the image and the weather adds to the atmosphere Let's let's spend a minute with volume one if we could just to talk about a couple of images there the cover image. Is you standing in a field. There's a fence and you're standing with your back up against what i think is a world war. Two coastal pillbox. Is that right. Yeah that's right it's up on the can so you have not only the personal loneliness era but you have a historical nod to you know to the wars gone by was. Was this all intentional. When you chose that that that spot and that angle it we were you making a his historical statement as well as the personal one think he was more Buildings over the connected with war. I think it was more me. That in a war against myself a war against the feelings that i have in my head's which i with and is how do you fight. How'd you fight. What's in your mind and win. it it. It's a compelling picture especially for the cover the very next one. The on the title page is used standing in a forest with your backup against the cross and it. It's i'm going to assume it's a catholic cross and you are not facing the camera and this one year facing off to the left. Tell me what's going on here. Having this one was in lithuania and it was just a hill that woke up Little hill in the top of the sale there was Talk and south Me just looking out this land. These trees United.

She says she's only been taken up photography for ten years or so but has already won a fellowship from the royal photographic society. She's won the bill wisden award. Her work is ben in galleries all over the uk. Her work is seen medically really rich and complex and immediately recognizable. I'm sure you recognize her work on the frames website. Claire how you doing today. What's life like over in the uk. I'm good thank you on it separately sunday evening. That sounds beautiful claire. This work is remarkable. This work is moody. It is provocative it is the kind of work that you say okay here. Here's here's an artist. Here's somebody who's got an idea that she's expressing. But i doubt this idea sprung like minner of a full grown out of somebody's forehead. Tell me about the early days you say you took up photography as a hobby and then digital and photoshop and all that got you really turned on by tell me about the first time taking pictures obviously having children you always take peaches of you kid growing up and then more like snapshots. You haven't got time to do all the fancy stuff didn't have anyway so it wasn't until really. The children were a lot older and he didn't take up your time so much when my children really young i used to take into a baby clinic was held a library community center that as well and i always remember that i saw a poster at the community center. That was photography. Trump said. You met at this place and so a certain point. I realized i wanted to do this. Photography as a hobby as being frustrated artist on the block to paint. But we're going to have time to teach So just went up to this. Remember steph went up to this place and took picked up was still there.

Now if you listen to last week's episode you'll know reported that went on the session december so being very busy today hate recording episodes if we discovered that we can't read fit moving to upset into a day realistically because it's quite a lot of efforts. goes into all of this and we really nice chain like in between as well so we cut the chain market. It wouldn't take long winded. What did he select. Sean when the whole thing is going to be fun whatever you do in life you know you have to do what. What makes it fun so today. That anymore gonna let her introduce herself. tell you all about her amazing journey when she joins us a little bit later on in the podcast. But if you're listening last week you'll love that joe. I talks about what we going to be doing the rest of the day today. And what we've been out too. So i'm just so i mentioned One of the things that i have done did manage to do. Even though i was feeling very well was to get second addition. My microsoft team spoke finished the Long ago i was approached. And i i right through an online publishing brooklyn be a k b o n and i've got about nineteen titles with them across all of office and they wrote to me and they said the changes to teams. Can you date. We want translated into french as well. We also want to trust several of your other books. French not gonna say no am i. More translations means more royalties low as many on which is like balloon. Please go ahead yet. Said it so it was actually on my list of things do and the next been connected with that is some updates to my teams cosette which needs to go in because the changes are quite far reaching notice. Any changes joe and you've been using teams or they not kind of jumps to the fall. They haven't really jumped to the forefront. I literally just this well. This last week started with a new client on a project. And i just started using teams outside of you and i 'cause i lot of my clients do zoom rather than things that are not yet noticed detail but Well i think a lot of teams is teams of raison-d'etre few like is as a communication have within large business so it's really a communication and document management to for corporate c. style business so hen plus employees which ten is in corporate. But you know ten percent police or half dozen employees when you have a team of pro anywhere to store your documents so unless you're using it that way. I think a lot of these updates. Dangers might just not. You might notice them but if you are working in that kind of co proceed type team environment. A lot of them are amazing. Lots around meetings That a changing breakouts. He cannot have could have breakout meetings. Full you cannot have signed breakout meetings. It's been a long wait feature There are different views. So if i'm sharing presentation with you i can now decide if i sit in front of flights if the slides side by side with me or it's like a tv reports when the kind of my shoulder so there's lots of different ways You cannot use teams to host. Webinars the difference between amazing and a webinar. I'll isn't a webinar. Your ten days attend without camera and audio so.
Nicole Gibbons: How Her Company, Clare, Upended the Paint Industry
"I kept exploring different mark opportunities and i came across the pain. Or you know as a designer. I was super passionate about color. And i realized this industry was archaic. The shopping experience was broken. And that's how. I knew. I had a good opportunity might lands. It's amazing actually talk about that because a lot of people think there's like an idea in the middle of the night and someone jumps out of bed and starts their company but what you just described was so thoughtful such a thoughtful process of what you wanted to do and establish your as you say your credentials in your credibility and then then you saw an opening in the market. I mean ask a very simple question. How did you come up with the name. Yeah so. I saw that. All the brands paint. Were hyper masculine. So you know. Benjamin moore darren williams dutch boy. You know they all sound like dudes and plaid shirts and i know from my experience in home that the people who really making the caller decisions in household women and i felt like brands were failing to appeal. The women So i intentionally wanted a name. That was feminine approachable. Easier member friendly sounding Annan name that could be personified so you really build the personality around the brown. And then lastly. I wanted a name that tied back to some deeper meaning unrelated related to color so clear comes from a latin root word laris. That means bright and brilliant And so the word play their felt really appropriate because both brilliant in terms of being innovative in for thinking but also in terms of dollar in. Was you know it kind of checked. All those boxes and it was originally just a working title. Because i wasn't sure what to call the brand but after while it just felt right and sort of stock to the first steps. You took to get this vision off the ground. Yeah so i. I really thought about it for about a year You know super busy in mike company kept thinking like this is such a good idea. How do i make this happened. What do i do to focus my attention. So i thought of this is an idea being twenty six sixteen and then really kind of thought about it off and on the entire year In in the meeting twenty seventeen january you know he wake up on the first of the year and it's kind of like new year new me. What am i gonna do with my life this year. i came back to the idea for clarendon. Like if i don't do this now i probably will never do it. So what are the steps. You take to need to take to make this happen. So i decided to take a quarter off. Vermeille designed firm. I was in a lucky position. That was wrapping up a couple of projects from but two thousand sixteen and so i finished up those products. But i didn't take on any new clients. And i spent i said to myself one quarter shoe explore the opportunity to talk to people in the paint industry figure out. You know how. I might go about doing this. And also get the company
Liverpool's Mountain to Climb
"The big game in the premier league today. It was liverpool against chelsea liverpool. Losing one nil. They've now lost five straight home league games for the first time in club history. Stevie nickel how has it come to this. Oh my goodness well as being a slippery slope I remember sitting here. What thirteen games ago liverpool. It's operatives league they had west brom coming up at newcastle coming up. They had only coming up. And we're talking about who's gonna stop liverpool routine in this tale. Thirteen games live like the forgotten how to play a front three. It destroying any defense was from can seem t- holiday short and i mean one show on goal today whole tells you the problems liverpool have going forward and of course we can say is unlucky so only so many times defensively but when you've got an this game today to defend with experience of of alexander arnold and forbidden new causing the goal then you can excuse so listen a team that feting games ago was straightened towards the title has gotten to the stage where this is not a surprise. This is actually when the final whistle went today. I wasn't surprised because this team is playing like a team that struggling as getting results like a team struggling and guess wha the struggling and is going to continue. I don't see an end to done given the problems that they have indefens- should club using more pragmatic approach. Not really. i agree with stevie exactly the same when they add west brought new castle after the seven zero win against crystal palace all it would move in weeks for liverpool. Thought stride clare. We can't keep blaming injuries because defensively it's never really been a problem. Little put off the power from man. City it's offensively where you start now live you. Think they all shot-shy the top end of the pitch. There's no confidence whatsoever. Most salga dragged off tonight Shutters huckabee rush back for beano to be rushed. Saudi-omani doesn't the same laugh. You can't reach them. What he does in terms of he's linka play but all of that's just not enough at the moment and liverpool. And i think you heard in new york and companies pressed hartford's afterwards. He looked absolutely shot. Looked deflated yoga club. The players the fans. I think they just want this season because a sudden it's disaster
Author Cassandra Clare On How She Creates Memorable Characters
"Just like laurel rings. There's a big cast of characters your books and series. They always have a lot of different characters that we meet throughout when you're constructing that and going through the draft process and kind of outlining how to make sure that that those characters can stick with readers. How much do you kind of do beforehand as far as flushing them out or having an understanding of the personality of the elements of that character. before kind of The to include them in your stories. I would say that. I do about fifty percent beforehand. You know. I want to know a good amount about the character. You know i wanna have the sense at least for me. The most important thing is of what they want now more than anything else was this person. Want more than anything else in the world. What's driving them. And then secondarily. I would probably want to know things like what is there. The thing that hurt the most in the world what's their greatest loss. Who is the person in the world they care about the most. Who's the person that they hate. You know you want to these sort of big stroke things that give you the shape of your character but i also feel like you one can get lost in making notes. You know you can make notes forever about a character or a place and You have to you kind of run your characters like a like a rat you have to run them through the maze of war. You learn what they're like entirely. You're never going to know your carter completely. Just making notes about them. You have to put them in the story and run the store and see how they respond

Shailene Woodley Confirms Engagement With Aaron Rodgers
"Shaly. Woodley has confirmed her engagement to aaron rodgers. Let's just say she's not exactly the man of her dreams. It's kind of funny. Here's what she told. Jimmy fallon yes. We are engaged. We are engaged for us. It's not new news. You know so. It's kind of funny. Everybody right now is freaking out over it. And we're like we've been engaged for awhile. He's office a wonderful incredible human being. But i never thought i'd be engaged. Somebody who threw balls rarely when i grow up. I'm gonna marry someone who who throws balls okay cheese. That was a very first interview about the engagement. I i will take some balls thrown up. I'll take all that catching the balls. All those all probably thinks it's that she doesn't know much about football that she's not really into sports. Maybe he's sick of being gushed about all the time i don't know but it's kind of funny. How she like. She says she's never seen the game. She's never watched him. She's everyone watched football. She knows everybody keeps telling her apparently to watch youtube highlights how great he is and she's just like nah part of his life right. Sometimes it's better. I was dating a rapper at one time. Which is name but he was pretty big rapper. But i wasn't interested. Because i wasn't i didn't understand. I didn't know his music. I didn't understand. And i didn't even know you know what level he was at and all my friends were like you. Gotta listen listen to the music but you you have to get into your partners thing just to be able to experience first of all. Y'all i love that you guys are like. Oh she's engages is fine. she's a football player. The only thing i could have seen in the interview is how upset she lean was that he did say that they were engaged. Like show was trying to keep it on the hush for mill. Because she was a we're engaged like he honestly and we always talk about it. The tables turn how men try to hide being in a relationship with women. But i feel like prochet. She is like one of those private celebrities. Who doesn't want to be in the spotlight. And who doesn't want. Yes because the danika or he hasn't been you know away from his other girlfriend. That rodney timelines timelines at the time. So as far as we understand they confirmed danika and erin confirmed their break-up in july twenty twenty seven months ago but she leans like we've been engaged for a while so she says so. Mike did they engage after a month. The data thought t's though oh don't do that about shayla little question of putting the way she leads says it as far as like. I don't know why it's such a big deal with engaged for so long and almost seems like they've been together for year exactly exactly. My problem is and i'm sorry she leaned. I really wanna be down for this engagement. There's something about him and he only dates famous women. That scares me a little bit.
Clare Crawley and Dale Moss Were Spotted Holding Hands After Their Messy Breakup
"Let's talk claire and dell. They split just a few weeks ago. And the break-up was messy now there have been sightings. I've been hanging out in florida. Do we really think these two could get back together. Yes absolutely you. I have friends that. Go back and forth to their excess. I've done it. I think we've all unless you're a person who's like that's it. I cut him off. Got some friends who cut their and they do not go back no matter what but this couple seems like toxic. I mean what do you really think you really feel about daily. I always tell people don't decisions about your relationship when you're hungry when you're tired win in a pandemic because you will start to second guess where the you really feel their way or if it's the pandemic that's causing you to think that way. I think that we probably got the clare in dallas situation. Ron i think the two had split up probably before he went to new york and probably before he was spotted with that girl. I don't think there was any fidelity. Did her dirty publicly. he basically broke up with her on the internet. It's like the now twenty twenty one of breaking someone on a post it note like visitors not okay and she found out when we found out that that's will remember. I'm going to believe claire. Because she's a she's my age and we are mature and in control of our relationship narrative. That is exactly what happened. She wasn't happy about it but clearly it wasn't enough to turn her off of the relationship because here she is again. I just wanna order. Friends are saying. That's what a shot because if you call them go back your friends don't wanna hear about it. You talk and talk and what he did to me and the next thing you know i cut people off if you have a toxic relationship and i have been through it for cycle one. Two three and seven at eight. I have to draw boundaries. Because then you're talk. Society is coming into my leg with your girlfriend but let's put ourselves in their predicament. We're talking about a man who went on a show met. A woman got engaged after three or four weeks have known each other and then went into lockdown with that person. I don't care who you are whether you were together for a year years or five years before you got engaged. Somebody's gonna get cold feet at some point during that time go on a cruise ship with somebody who just see what happens more people that break up after going on cruises to gather you're locked up and you're like you know i got to know that person way too. Well yes. I think it's the opposite. I feel like corentin. Yes i think it can either break you up and you're done because it pushes fast forward on the relationship right so you're in quarantine. I hate this person or if you haven't had a lot of time together which they did not corentin could have been the best thing for their relationship because now they get to spend all all of this if they were right for each other. I don't think these two long term right for each other. But i think that quarantines should have been the best for
Ultrarunner Clare Gallagher speaks up about climate change
"Gallagher knows about determination as a professional trail runner. She competes in hundred mile races over rugged terrain and when she's not running. She's focused on an even bigger challenge. Climate change gillanders activism began in two thousand sixteen that year president trump was elected and she won the leadville one hundred and ultra marathon through the rocky mountains in colorado and those two events for me coincided. They hit together. Like a su- nami where i had this privilege to run in mountains across the world seeing landscapes that i never would normally see and knowing that so many of our ecosystems are imperilled right now due climate change knowing that my own president was beginning to roll back climate regulations. She was compelled to act so she began contacting her elected officials and using social media to engage others. She also hosts frequent events where she talks about climate. An air pollution clean air. I think should just be a way of life. There are miles to go in the race to limit climate change. But she's determined to stay the

So he's opened up about the split on social media saying basically that he's been criticized for smiling on social media but we don't know how much he's really hurt and the burden of all this and being happy as the furthest thing from his mind right now so. He shared this on his instagram stories. The also thanked his fans for supporting him during the up. Saying this time sucks but god and family and friends have literally got him through the last two weeks. He went on to say that he still loves claire and he respects her but claire remember said she had no idea he was putting in a statement and announcement in fact when he confirmed that they had split. He said it was a mutual statement. Class at that's news to me. She didn't know he's got to be very careful here. It feels to me as dale is more concerned about his fanbase about his so-called fans that he's only had for a couple of months. Let's remember and so. I think he's priorities are a little bit nest. If he's not careful if he's not very careful he's going to go from being a guy. We all loved to the most hated guy in america. Dale i know you wanna be famous. No you want to be a tv host. I know you wanna be a model. all of. that's good. I'm not putting that down. But if you blow this up you'll can have none of those opportunities instead of focusing on your twitter followers. Focus on claire. Call her figured. This is and you might. You might still not be together in fact. I don't think you will think you to over how you get out of a relationship is as important as how you get in it and he got an seemingly a beautiful way. Try and leave the same way dale dale. There's a music in my ear into women. Singing here is one of the most things i've ever seen in my life. I it was all really good. I have to say i really felt like the reformers i thought demi levato did a really really good job. I was really pleased to see her performance. Justin timberlake i mean no matter what happens that man is just attractive and talented right like he always does a good job and obviously lady gaga. You guys the voice on that woman. It's really not a joke. It's like she. is that talented. I just really enjoyed the whole celebration. America and the day was so fantastic. But i was just like. I don't know. I was like on cloud nine says in this happy mood and even if it was just for a night i just i love the positivity love the feeling the energy and i do feel like there's a lot of pressure on President bided and vice president harris to really try to bring this country together. Destigmatizing Crohns With Clare Surette
"All right. Well claire. welcome to the woman. I'm so excited to have this conversation and very happy that you reached out to me in my dams yet. Thank you very much for having me excited clerk. Tommy a little bit about yourself. What led you kind of to the to the crohn's diagnosis. They got your symptoms. So i started getting sick right when i turned seventeen which i'm twenty five now. So eight years ago. It was around christmas time and as gang stomach aches and just a lot of intestinal issues. And i figured you know. It's the holidays on e. l. oughta swedes. It's probably just from that. It'll go away but Christmas came and went new years and months went on and it just got worse and going to the doctors. Every week blood tests all the time they couldn't figure it out until they finally four months later Sent me to gastroenterologist. And first time i saw him. He says rare doing a colonoscopy tomorrow. Something's wrong we need to figure out what's going on inevitably led to the diagnosis Were you frustrated at all that it took that long to just kinda get to get an answer like that to to do a diagnostic test. Like that or is very frustrating. I feel like the not knowing can make it even worse because you're dwelling on that and it's causing all this anxiety and i feel like i was really relieved when i finally was like okay. This has a name. We can do something but i had never even heard a crowns until before this. I didn't realize the road ahead of me what who would really entail. I thought okay. It has a name now. we can treat it. We're done yeah definitely. It was not the case. No i mean. I was just looking up to some more like fax and stuff is is what they krones pertains to in females and i read that fifty percent of women with crohn's disease are under the age of thirty five at the time of diagnosis. So yeah i couldn't really find anything about. Teenagers is much. But do you know the numbers on that at all. I don't know the numbers. I know when i first got sick and i've found that from what i've read. Most people get diagnosed either in the teams or in like early mid thirties around there. I believe l. But when i first got sick my doctors at the time social media was what it is today and the only resource. They could really give me was. Here's this book that this man wrote who like a middle aged man and his journey with groans. I thought okay. That's great. I respect but he's gone through a seminary night school girl. Yeah my told me how to deal with my prom. Dress amoud without fainting in Where i'm getting done and just like to do my soccer game like things. It wasn't relatable. And so i knew from then that i didn't know how but i wanted to somehow use my life my story to reach out just to help someone feel less alone because everyone i've talked to if it comes up in conversation and i say oh i have krones they always say oh my cousin has it or someone i know has it. So this prevalent then. Why aren't we talking about it more. Yeah and why wearing there more resources you know. That's what when you had reached out to me. I looked at your profile. And i was like. You're like a shining low beacon of light you know q. In this krones world. And i was just so impressed by you. Not only like you know. You have an austin money. You have beautiful photos in you know in bikinis sporting near to me and just like here is about us. Female who is taking back the narrative of krones. Thank you. i appreciate that. Yeah the awesome me. I've only had that for about ten months now. So it's still not brand new but still fairly new battle came about just when i started krones. My doctor mentioned like we can go through treatments or we can. There's a surgery option and at the time again because it's not talked about much my in my mind just thought a bag is a colostomy which that's it which is not the case i learned. There's ilyasova measor. Which is what. I have and luke an end in all different versions some can be reversed but anyway i went. I wanted to do work on taking medications. Because i wanted to avoid the bag. I don't know cost right through. How many years. Once i transitioned over to an adult. gi who. he's absolutely amazing. Him and his team at mass general in boston are incredible. But i had gone through every. Fda approved medication for crowns that was available and melt them all. And just whatever was going on with my case. Things just weren't working out. I wanna say twenty eighteen. Things started to really go downhill in my junior year of college and things i can tell things were getting worse and we just constantly trying whatever medications were left and just was not working
No acknowledgement, no thanks for Rosalind Franklin who made the discovery of DNA structure possible
"It's the centenary of rosen. franklin's birth. This year she who made watson crick's revelation of the structure of dna possible. Her photograph of dna made all the difference and was featured in western. Play called photograph. fifty one with nicole. Kidman who else is franklin. But it was after dna. According to patricia farrer of clare college cambridge that her work on viruses and irony made work like this year's fast production of covid vaccine possible all that worth two nobel prices so far. Thank you think just portrait by malcolm. I'm watson i'm creek. Let us show. You are trick. We have found the seed of life sprang from. We believe we're stew of molecular goo with a period of thirty four angstrom. So just think this means to our respective genes that sakes did not be disgusting or you girls. Try that trick of watson and crick and achieved. Double helix lusting cheeky was recited by james watson and francis creek at a symposium in june nine hundred fifty three to celebrate the discovery of the double helix in nineteen sixty two. They received the nobel prize for this work. Along with morris wilkins. They've been basking in the glory of his saints but there was another crucial contribution to solving the puzzle of deny that of the dock lady of dna roslyn franklin. He's francis creek acknowledging homework on bbc radio in nineteen ninety nine. It was fairly fast. But you know we were lucky. You must remember. It was based off the x ray. Were done here in london. Started off by. Murray's wilkins and carried on by rosen in franklin and we wouldn't have got to the stage of least having a molecular model if it hadn't been for their work will the story is very bleak. She was naps. Brilliant x ray photographer and this was how the physical reality of the double helix model was first. Seen because wont watson and crick quarrel remodelers that that is they were abstract scientists. They were thera- titians so they were making the model as it were in their heads out of those bubbles and sticks that we all know so well which made the double helix model. What roslyn franklin's incredible achievement walls that she was a technically quite brilliant with this new and difficult apparatus of x ray photography and she showed this first image. Hilary rose from city university london. She's been a sociologist. of science. Since the mid seventy s and the image is referring to is the x ray picture taken by rosalind franklin niners photograph number fifty one. It displays a doc. Black spotty cross shape which confirmed for watson and creek. They hypothesise that. The structure of dna is in fact. A double helix. Hilary rose is passionate about rosine. Franklin's contribution and believed her story is one of appropriation and rasiah without her consent. These pictures were taken by the third noble prize winner. Wilkins and they were shown to watson and crick in cambridge and this is appropriation. I mean there are harder woods for it. A ratio of course was dramatic in the nobel prize acceptance speeches. Roslyn is by then dead. So little people forget those no question hoping for price. 'cause they not give them to the dead they given to the living so the three man. None of them acknowledged her work public. What she gets is a footnote in morris wilkin so that's the asia and you would have thought on the occasion art a such a thing as the nobel prize. The woman is dead that there would have been case for little generosity. Not a hint of a three man. Just carry on as if she hadn't existed as she hadn't done the pioneering extra work. It wasn't a pool in shabby story. And there's plenty in the history of science strong views from sociologist. Hilary rose no matter which way you look at it though. The mystery of this dark lady is intriguing author. Brinda medics was so fascinated by rosalind franklin. That she's recently completed a comprehensive biography. He she is with robin williams. Rosen franklin's family very well off for intellectual whether or not they're very wealthy anglo jewish bankers they also had a publishing firm for the sons in the family who actually were inclined to banking rutledge and keegan. Paul you're very distinguished people very proud of their heritage and they trace their ancestry back to king david the founder of jerusalem. So i mean this is a family takes its ancestry seriously and so one of the problems i think was not so much her gender but class. She sounded aristocratic to them. She spoke terribly well very clipped and some people just hated that. And it's one of the many ingredients which actually made her disoriented and not as happy as she might have made a very clever little girl. And i mean as she was growing up quite small. She wasn't very clever. Little girl and i discovered family letter from her aunt mamie. Anyway she noticed rosalyn has a six year old and she rosalind is alarmingly clever. She does her sums for pleasure and invariably gets them right and i thought that alarmingly was very significant because roseland had three brothers but the fact that the girls should be the cleverest really did

You're talking to both sides your mouth. That's not it it's just. There's a saturation of celebrity. Like beauty. lions right now. I'm not sure how many more we need at like. I'm not sure how. But we definitely don't me. I don't know how many more the world needs. And i'm not really sure what. Us ps unique selling points. There are if we have too many more celebrity cardi right now through zeta-jones with her mar inducing video. Yes with her eyeliner. Like i just. I'm just not really sure how much more we can add to the conversation right now before it becomes like a parody. Do you remember all the fragrance lines came out like the end of the two thousands. It was like every celebrity became drink. Eventually yeah yeah i just. i'm nervous. Were getting to that point. Yeah i i. I agree with you and i think in general i found my job as somebody. Who's a beauty journalist. Who wants to try things and bring you the best. I found it really hard this year. There was just too damn much. Yeah so naughty naughty to the faceless agency i like it or blaming agents. It's true because those people get money out of it to all right Minority was my naughty mask. Because everybody's walking around in a pp's which great a warm moist environments will logged pours. Acne and i'm just going to add onto acne naughty enough. it's not just acne. I was doing some more research on this and basically what the mass does. It just creates an inclusive environment the same way like your pimple patch does when you're healing pit bull that's good in some cases but not when you're using active ingredients so hey guys out there if you don't have mask knee. Heavy notions really read or the sides. Of your mouth cracking. Maybe he's a retinoid. It's more effective under that hot moist -clusive environment so like you gotta you gotta like pare back on all the active stuff.
Bachelorette Clare Is Engaged to Dale Moss
"Just talk about the bachelorette because not clear finally blew it up last night. Clara n'dale are making the rounds this morning. We'll hear from them in just a minute but first here is just one of the you know kind awkward moments from last night just a little bit yes. Can we cut the part where she starts to get up to hugger because no no no. I need the ring. I don't you stand up yet. I've been waiting a long time for the three only Claire dale really got engaged. We showed you hurrying yesterday by the way it is four and a half carrots it is of course a neal lane creation. Do you think getting engaged was the right move. Oh oh oh. By the way. I'm on i have two sides like one part of me thinks you know what thirty nine i know what i want. Let me just jump in there and get right to it. I don't know these people are like wiping out in these groceries. So i need to get out of this boot camp situation and the other side of me is i would have stayed at least long enough to know dell's middle name like i just and i feel bad and ladies. I love you. And i'm here with you. Especially my ladies. Who are in their thirties and forties. A woman has not been married. It has not had kids. Sometimes we get blinded by that clock because we think it's running out and she just wants to get married and have kids. And i get that but you got really start to think about who. You're marrying what they stand for like. I don't even know if she knows what dell likes to eat
It's official: Clare Crawley exits The Bachelorette — and gets engaged!
"That Claire Crawley walked away into the sunset with her choice, Dale Moss in the middle of the bachelorette season. This has never happened before. This is 1/16 season of the Bachelorette because she fell in love in the middle of the season, she thought it was not worth the other guy's time. To waste their time. She's like I already know who I want. We are into each other, and we are going to be together until the day we die. Like all bachelor and bachelorette contestants are no. But she left the show very unprecedented. And so they brought in a new bachelorette. Her name is Tasha. Adams. She is a flat bottom miss and she, which means she takes people's blood. If you don't know that she's a nurse, and so the guys were braced for her entrance. He was a little bit concerned about blindsiding the suitors, Claire's former suitors, and she said, I just know that this process moves very quickly and you start to invest a lot of feelings Early on. I don't know if that's the case for some of them. On def, So I'm more than happy to have that conversation with them, and if they don't feel like this is the right time for them, or I'm not right for them. They can walk away at this point. She's not going to get her feelings hurt. S so you know, that's that's good of her. She is absolutely gorgeous. I think this is going to be great. In August, she was seen in Palm Springs wearing a teal bikini. And then there was a teaser for Theo episode that she was in season and bikinis a lot basically. It's like when they show the bachelors coming out of the pool or showering. It's like OK, thank you. We know they shower. Ah, and so there's was a to be continued at the end of the show. Next week's Caesar promised. Possible cases of cold feet of some of the guys walking away from this, plus some more answers from Claire and Dale. So they're gonna have a portion of the show. That's like, all right. Well, how did this happen? How did you you know, because there was also talk that during the pandemic when they had to stop filming that they were still in contact with each other. So that's sort of how their relationship blossomed. And, Yeah, I mean, I give a tour. You know why drag it out? If you know you're going to pick and well, she is getting a lot of hate. Oh, it's like this is real life. It's not just a TV show, you know. She
Brandi Glanville Apologizes for Tactless Erika Jayne Divorce Post
"The real housewives are at war again. This time over a divorce so brandy glanville is being accused of cashing in on her friends. Heartbreaks brandy posted a link on instagram to story announcing erica james divorce. She later deleted the post in. Tweeted an apology. Saying i took xanax earlier. Because of what's going on in the world. I didn't see the post on my idea. Erica jane until this eve. And i deleted it the second i saw it. As i've said in the past. I leased my social media out i in no way would have been that insensitive interesting least her social media out meaning like she has a social media manager or did somebody probably controls. It and i do believe that she does that. I don't think brandi glanville is trying to start a media conglomerate and is trying to be the next to you but i do think that sometimes celebrities let loose and let people just control their things. Get in hot water. Sometimes i mean what would make even the social media possess. This is a good idea this rain here. People are talking about her doing this. This is why they do it. But i mean for her to write that that statement astor if i were i would be very upset at the first the first of all. I'm still unclear charisma. To your point about what leasing her social media out means like to me. It sounds like she allows other people to go on it and post on behalf of her but just on behalf of what they think is like. I don't know just determine a little confusing hard to follow. I don't think brandi glanville type of personality as we've seen many times over like put her foot in something and then take it out and be like i didn't mean to do that. I think she sees things through. So i believe her when she says i wasn't aware what was going on but i just think it's also one of those things that's like why this is like another little thing that brandies attached to that like. She didn't mean anything by but like now. Everyone's speculating insensitive. Don't you guys thing. Set the th. That should not have no women. No none of the women should be talking about erica. Cajones divorce on their social media. That can be on the show dealt with on the show reportedly win a celebrity has a lincoln their bio. It can usually mean that they're getting paid for the post. And i just checked right before we came on the air. The lincoln brand new bios till goes to this story. She didn't website I'll double check. The website will pay you to post for them. I have friends that are in acquaintances. That are famous and relatively known people that i talked to on a weekly basis. And of course i hear gossip about them all the time. I never bring it up until they bring it up. Because i never know win. Our how are what they want to talk about. So i'm going to bring it up not gonna bring it up. Panning could be the camera like here. This why it's still linking to it. Okay so i'm very confused on. If she really is sorry didn't mean to lease it out. Why still keep it in the bio. Unless like she has a contract with celebres and she needs to keep it up there for certain amount of hours. Something along those lines to nevada those votes. Because you're looking way too deep. Today's use your tactic somewhere else where it's day. I'm just curious. Okay well good news you guys. Maybe bad news. I dunno depends on how you feel about the whole relationship and the whole situation but we just got some photos of bachelorette clare crawley that. We have to talk about claire. Who spotted in her hometown rocky and massive diamond ramo on that finger. John don't do it like no. Don't talk about the shape of the rig. You know. I mean these married. Here's the thing that's definitely a wedding ring or engagement ring She knows she's going to be photographed. She knows we're going to speculate about that isn't the isn't the again. I'm not the biggest bachelor person in the world but isn't the point to like keep the end result of what happens to you completely secret until the series is wrapped. I don't think she really cares. Guys this really crazy that's right. I don't think she gives a shit. And i think the reason is. I don't think leaving the show was her choice. I've looked back and looked at this. Producer are abc executive. Did this podcast with nick. Vile and in the podcast. They talked about clare crawley and the producer said and i quote when she gave herself. The group rose because dell wasn't in the group that's when we started making the call. So i think at that point clare. Crawley was told. You might have to leave with dale this unacceptable. And you have to go. If they're going to break the contract and break the rules. I'm gonna do the same damn thing and i'm going to rub it in their basis. I found love and i. That's a good point because typically the reason why is because they are under contract and they can truly get sued if they let the cat out of the bag too soon. Isn't that's why there's sometimes photos so adamant about keeping secrets but you may have good argument there. If they if she feels that she could that they've worked the contract. I ending her season. Then she might say all bets off. Y'all can just no. I did damn thing now. Do you think she actually went through and got married forty. She's just letting everybody else because also that's that's public record right like if people get married. That's the bachelor does not control the courts like we. We could look that up. It's interesting. I think if things were so bad obviously. This season has taken a turn. That i don't think anybody has seen it bachelor history. I can't believe. I just said bachelor history a cod my street. Anyway so i don't. We've never seen this in the past. But i don't think. I think if there was such tension between her and This show we would hear more about that. Obviously we've heard about her leaving. I don. I don't know. I think it just keeps people engaged.
"clare" Discussed on Cultivating Place
"Welcome back to our conversation with clear Foster Gardiner writer editor sharing with us about her garden life journey especially, , as it relates to growing flowers from seed were back to hear more about the different kinds of flowers to grow from seed including annuals by annuals, , grasses, , herbs, , perennials, , and more. . When I look at the. . The table of contents and see. . How that flows? ? What criteria did you to set for your contents and the flowers you would include which aren't always traditional flowers. . They are also <hes> flowering herbs, , flowering grasses, , <hes>. . It's a, , it's a lovely wide range. . Will thank you. . Yeah. . It's it wasn't encyclopedic in any way we didn't want it to be really we we wanted to include the plants and the flowers that we will really growing and that we knew worked really for people. . So, , cutting flowers and as well as herbs and <hes> the the more the edible side of things <hes> <hes>. . Yeah. . So we really focused on on the plants that the that we were we were growing and that we could recommend first hand. . <hes> and and I think again because Sabina was working for children seeds and had access to different varieties we were quite Specific in varieties that we were recommending even though those change all the time I mean this quite a few. . Varieties now of a certain flowers that we would have put in <hes> and they've the because they they just changed the the whole time and find new things. . New Exciting colors. . So yes. . So just just the the the plants, , the that we recommend ourselves I think was the the main criteria. . And the publishers wanted us to do the be friendly section which I think <hes> was a very good idea actually <hes> because I think there's a loss of interest in. . Oversee ecology and biodiversity biodiversity at the moment and insects <unk> in particular. . Yeah and I I. . Really. . This is one of the things that resonated with me about the book when it first came across my desk was the way it is you know it's a pretty straightforward book. . It's about growing flowering plants from seed to fill out your your garden over the course of the season. . <hes> on one level, , and then when as I was reading, I , kept sort of making little ticks along the margins or underlining because he does get to a lot of universal cultural conversations. . Hope Springs - Growing Flowers From Seed, Clare Foster
"Welcome back to our conversation with clear Foster Gardiner writer editor sharing with us about her garden life journey especially, as it relates to growing flowers from seed were back to hear more about the different kinds of flowers to grow from seed including annuals by annuals, grasses, herbs, perennials, and more. When I look at the. The table of contents and see. How that flows? What criteria did you to set for your contents and the flowers you would include which aren't always traditional flowers. They are also flowering herbs, flowering grasses, It's a, it's a lovely wide range. Will thank you. Yeah. It's it wasn't encyclopedic in any way we didn't want it to be really we we wanted to include the plants and the flowers that we will really growing and that we knew worked really for people. So, cutting flowers and as well as herbs and the the more the edible side of things Yeah. So we really focused on on the plants that the that we were we were growing and that we could recommend first hand. and and I think again because Sabina was working for children seeds and had access to different varieties we were quite Specific in varieties that we were recommending even though those change all the time I mean this quite a few. Varieties now of a certain flowers that we would have put in and they've the because they they just changed the the whole time and find new things. New Exciting colors. So yes. So just just the the the plants, the that we recommend ourselves I think was the the main criteria. And the publishers wanted us to do the be friendly section which I think was a very good idea actually because I think there's a loss of interest in. Oversee ecology and biodiversity biodiversity at the moment and insects in particular. Yeah and I I. Really. This is one of the things that resonated with me about the book when it first came across my desk was the way it is you know it's a pretty straightforward book. It's about growing flowering plants from seed to fill out your your garden over the course of the season. on one level, and then when as I was reading, I kept sort of making little ticks along the margins or underlining because he does get to a lot of universal cultural conversations. The gardening world is having is grappling with right now that I think are all important and you know among those would be Ecological and Seed bio-diversity. So you know just the fact that of trying to grow from seed opens up for almost any Gardner a whole range of plants you would never find at the local garden center and it also then as you are seeing, as C. "Cast of comics politicians and pundits the social media bragging rights are yours when your question gets asked so listen to politicains. How the heck are we going to get along on the iheartradio APP apple podcasts? Or wherever you get your podcasts. All Right Ben Tori. Let's get to the other topics of the episode besides Savannah and Brandon and Julia which did dominate the episode. But we also need to talk about the fact that the first day card went to back Danny and they had absolutely no chemistry at all. And of course we're eliminated at the end of the episode nine poor guy when she pushed away a space at the end. It was just hard to watch toy. What did you think you think that people are questioning like? Are they here for the right reasons that it really shows you? You can't take your feelings so I'm kind of like I respect her for being like I could act like I'm Gonna. Kiss you really liking right now to stay or war. I'm going to be audited. Know that I'm just not that interior in it probably translated through the performance. It is what it right and I think it was obvious because those two hadn't beginning no airtime was like yeah. We're going to eliminate them real quick. He's so cute though. Who What do you think there are cute? He's so cute be yeah he's very very Q. Very sweet explained to the go. Go's been you're so cute and the girl next year goes I mean. He's he's like yeah he's sweet. All right moving on descartes with Rhianna Tasha. I you guys know I love Ryan but I don't really feel any chemistry of theirs until they're on stage so I thought there date spark free. Don't get them. Don't feel any sort of like mental connection but one they did hit the stage. They're able to like sex it up. You agree yeah. That performance was like captivating. Yeah that was a good performance to really talented people. There and I agree with what the judges said that She just blew him out of the water but the thing was I think. I think that he wasn't able to belt he. He wasn't able to show always got their right do you? If you could predict this who do you think is more in like the other person like who do you think legs each other more. He's more into her. She's wearing too. I think that he's like wow. I've never gotten a girl like this volume before. And then I think she's like he's one of the most talented guys in the House and I'm glad to be paired with him. Oh Do you think it will? I think it might be in a way equal. I don't think either of them from watching it. I really don't think either of them would claim. I'm putting words their mouth but I don't think either of them would claim that they're going to have like a marriage or remaining relationship after is. I think this makes sense. We're into each other. Were good partners. We like our time together. We're both pretty talented. Your hi I'm hop- let's make this thing happen. Agreed agree any other stand out performances in your opinions because I got one Jamie and Trevor Jamie and Trevor. That was cute very cute. I also don't think they're powerhouses vocally but she said that she's falling in love with him when she started seeing him on stage. I like love him when I see him. Performing onstage Ben. I think he's a player. I mean I just I know. I can't say that as much as it is weird to me that we skimmed over this whole like emotional cheating thing so quickly. I don't know how that ended. I'm still confused on. Where we we got there and even if he was a player musically I think they did well I mean he has that thing onstage. I will say this trevor. At of anybody had the most swagger onstage e felt like you had the most confidence there was a moment where he was seeing and he like delivered align in like the perfect timing with little smile. I get it now. I never got it until now player. Not He has something with him on stage. That makes them more. I'm going to say I think it's Kristen. Bree is it that That I really think just destroyed. Chris's so god he's so talented so much better than what they did on that date. I thought after their date together as this is GonNa be rough on stage and not at all so much better. I agreed with what the with the judges said though. It seemed like she didn't know how to play to him and play to the audience at the same time. There I mean yeah. I'm sure that comes with practice right. Tory for sure. I think that it's also giggling I think he's so much better than her. That's what I was basically saying. So it's like it's hard to watch it 'cause you're almost like she should just want him to be with an equal as far as skilled knows. She's very talented. It's just like he's so amazing. He's so good. I technically on bridges. Yeah I also have a soft spot for Matt and Ruby Rudy Rudy. I love Rudy. She's so real and they were just cute. How Nice Chemistry's? It's easy breezy for me. You're right that was a really performance than I love. How Matt took a step back and really let her sing. I mean obviously she's really good. We could see. He wasn't trying to compete. It wasn't a Christian bree where they were trying to eat but they just stink up Singlehandedly just take a step back and was like Guitar using single now the couple that I was most surprised about their onstage. Chemistry was Sheridan and Julia. I thought they killed it. Yes they sing back your boy song. Of course I'm GONNA like the performance. But they were so amazing and she really seemed into him and I'm like oh not only as girl singer. She also maybe an actress. That's interesting I felt very different. Really why. I felt like almost trying to prove a point so much to savannah that she was like. I'M GONNA give it my all steered him but like she doesn't have anything to get your right but it's still worth just like it did but I didn't think that was like a standout performance felt very forced and stately. All right any comments about our amazing judges this week. Our friends Joe Joe Fletcher Jordan Rogers and Kesse Jason Morass. I mean I'm always Jordan Gioja Fan. I think they're both great. I love them and I love them as a couple. The really good on Camera. They were very spot on. When it comes to analysing connection in Jason Mraz when my favorite artists of all time I mean that guy has serenaded me through good and bad times. So it's I'm I'm honestly I was just. I was a huge fan of having them on. There would have made it better though if the cash and Jason Mraz do at to to show them how it's done. Hey Ben. Is it kind of weird that Joanne Lauren? We're in the same episode. Yeah I was like. Oh man this is. This is a power play for me. I'm watching Gosh it like not only am I like not fully sold out on the show yet but I got to watch it and see this. Like what a day Now is fine. I mean I what are you going to do? Its part of living in this world right. Sometimes you just gotTa get back into it and see what? See Him all over again. You guys have all found your partner in life though. So that's right. We're all doing good. But yes that's that was I cannot believe that that's the way that played out. But it's pretty funny but you know what I was. Actually shocked is like the Chris and Lorin thing that you didn't see very much of it. I'm surprised that it was so quickly. They so quickly came and gone like I thought they would be around a little bit longer. And I I mean they should have made since form to right. I all right to finalize the episode. here were the performances. Met in Ruby Ashley Ashley as I say the just give it an ABC or F. Chemistry Test Sarah addity in that even mean to happen. Yeah overall performance chemistry and music Matin Ruby Eight. I think bring Chris be plus. He gets a BECCA. In Danny de ask Savannah in Brandon Savannah and Brandon get a B. Julia and Sheridan a Natasha and Ryan a Jamie in trevor although a-minus there well Ashley obviously you've seen episode. So this is easy for you but BECCA. Dany were sent home at the end of the episode leaving the couples that were mentioned before outset at Beckon Danny still at the house for next week and next week I mean I guess according to Savannah is GonNa be doozy well. Hey we've got a couple of emails from people asking about this and so I guess there's no better time than now Danielle wrote us in with an email. That says been bitches during quarantine. I was wondering in your episodes if we could get some special Corinthian edition of been bitches. Lighten the road a separation right now. Thank you off variety for providing some relief. In this time. I do have one now. It's going to be twisted a little bit and moved around. It's not gonna be as angry as the others. 'cause I'm very peaceful state right now. I've done a lot of prayer meditation counseling and and quiet time during this time of isolation. Here's my problem. Covert nineteen. You have ruined something for me. You have made me flustered frustrating and feeling more alone than I ever have before I spent most of my life knowing that a connection with others not only emotional spiritual but also physical and covert nineteen. You've taken the physical away from my life and I don't like it in fact a mad some angry and I'm bitching I want to hug somebody. I WANT TO SQUEEZE SOMEBODY. I WANNA look somebody I in the is Intel How much they matter to me and I want to get as close as humanly possible without getting too awkward to them. I WanNa see where their soul is in I belie- believe it's in their heart own a squeeze them tight and hold them until they tried to get away. I want to tell my family. I loved them. I want to see my grandma. Give her a hug. You have lots of people you can let that out on though like you can squeeze your family injustice family two to three ribs but Ashley what about the grandparents yeah? I know it's really sad. My Grandma's GonNa be ninety seven in June. And it's like Oh. When do I get this year? I feel so bad. So here's my point at all. I miss those who are loved and at a distance right now we I know as a people group take it took for granted for too long how much we love those who we haven't seen in a while. I'm bitching today at Kobe. Nineteen because you have taken some physical intimacy away from me. I don't like it well Ashley. That's with that I've been I've been Ashley I agree I was. I would like Ben. Hug almost breaking my bones hug. That's actually I'll be hugging deep. Okay bye followed the Ben and Ashley..

"Her four, her fifth Worl-. Yeah. It's GonNa be an interesting season. Ashley and there's a lot of pressure to and I think it's one of the reasons why we're both excited for it is it feels like hey, we need to either root for Clare to find somebody, or this is GonNa be. I mean. Is that a sad finish? If she doesn't find somebody through this, it will hurt her heart and our heart so like Matt or not or support the people doing press or not, we I am. I will be in the corner of Hey. Give clear the best possible shot to have the one group of people. If if we just get it for this season that are there for their love story like just give that to her like let's really weed out the people that aren't there or could be there for the right reasons. Give clear a fair shot because that's the reason we're going to be tuning in is to see clear extremely extremely happy in the end why? Why are people reacting? This way to Clare is I mean I think I think there's two reasons one. Matt is relevant right now. We've seen more of Matt Innocence Than We have of clear in years. I, Think Matt. I think clear has kind of been hidden and I also think Claire is known. Her personality is known to be the one that definitely comes down hard on. People during their time on the show I mean she did it with Juan Pablo rightfully so She's done it on Winter Games with I forget his name with his Christian I think his name was at this point like she has been the one for You know to come down hard on people I think people might be going Clare like walk into this being a little kinder. Kinder like you don't have to be the police of this show. You are just the lead here like you don't have to be the police. You don't have to be the one that jumps on everybody for any decision or thing. They say just let's let's get behind you here to find your love story, but don't don't be hostile at the beginning like you don't have to walk into this already. I can see that I can totally see. People are coming from there. I need to close on saying that I. Think it's still. If Matt had made it so obvious that it was for charity. I think people would be able to say like okay. Claire You. Definitely jumped down his throat too soon, but it's obvious based on the social media activity that he did not make it clear that it was for charity, so I'm not sure why people are just. GOING TO SMACK CLARE before raising an eyebrow to Matt. Now I'm with you NYGARD I think I think there is I I'm wondering the same thing and you know especially for Matt's friend to go. Hey, we've never talked about this, you said this is for charity that we're doing together and you've never brought this to my opinion and to say that publicly it feels weird. All I can say is. Let's take a step back. Realize it's the wild west right now. There's a lot of. Not being stuck to. We're all trying to figure it out. But I just. Close, I just don't think Matt James can go on clear season. It just doesn't make sense now at this point unless we just want or doing it just to have. Controversy which doesn't feel healthy at all. Hey, final. Well second to final topic tyler. Cameron says he and Hannah Brown are just starting off as friends and not in a place to date right now. I think the headline speaks for itself anything to add here. I was GONNA. Say Bats it. And lastly, yes, to nick vials podcast just are not sharing rooms at this time. shocker. I guess weird to have this. As, now, a dinner conversation from her family, my family and just an eye. Healthy conversation to have I mean this is something I've never shied away from its. It's when it comes to sex and talking about the boundaries that you know I've set with my with my partner. It's not something on hide, but it's also weird to be talking about so that is true. We. We're excited about this decision. It's been the healthiest decision for us. I think people are a confused about it or going. What in the world's going on here? It's the decision we made that we thought was best for us as a couple to allow us the healthiest relationship and we wanted to do that because we knew that we had something special and we wanted to do. We wanted to do some things personally to make sure that we were. Were setting ourselves up for the most success, and this is one of the decisions we've made, and it's been really good for us. It might not be for everybody. I get it I I'm not seeing should all I know. A time without Tiktok a time without instagram, how she could be annoyed by the amounts that he is speaking to the press before his season I am somebody who you know. Pretty notorious for taking advantage of every opportunity that comes at me so I can't can't fault him for that. I'm like the Queen of taking advantage of what this franchise is given me taking press ops, but my personal taste. If our position. Seems amount of press that he's done seeing him on cameo. A scenario where contestants have been announced then there's been a delay. And and they've also had a connection to to the press so easily now I get it like it's crazy to me that all of this happening right now there's really no rules for the shutdown and what's going on with cove nineteen. Here's my concern, Ashley and here's why I think we should take. This is Matt's been out there in the press. He's been talking. He's been sharing things. I've seen the comments. People are saying Oh. Come on, Clare, be nice to him. He's doing it for charity. I've also seen the comments of this is ridiculous. Why is he trying to get fame right now? Both sides okay. We don't even need to say who side were on the truth is this clear has now spoken out against Matt? Berry? Clearly said Hey I'm not okay with. With this I don't like this. It doesn't make sense to me on why you are out there. Doing cameos and press before the season even starts. That shows that you're not here for the right reasons. That is what she has said on her tweet right if that is the case. How can Matt James B. on her season at any level if they already are doing this with? He, can't I just don't think it's a good idea for him to to be honest. Then there's the whole. He created a cameo thing and he created a cameo. She calls him out on twitter, creating the cameo and doing press. and then what the fans are coming out after her about is that the cameo money is supposedly going towards charity well, actually it is going towards charity, but he didn't make that clear before getting on Cameo, so. He's he fired back you WANNA use a dramatic language. He fires back and on on instagram story and says I created a cameo in the money's going to be going to this charity I'm doing it with this New York. Giants well. His friend, who is a New York giant. Screen shotting or re Graham ING. Matt's post and says what we never talked about this, but I'm down for the challenge. All the donations will be going towards robinhood. NYC and team new. Okay, it just seems like mccaw in sort of kind of sticky situation there because it seems like he never previously announced that the cameras are going to charity and. I. Don't think I think in I. Think because he never announced that. The cameras are going to charity the it's totally fine that Clare expressed frustration over him, having a cameo and doing press and I know that Matt has done so much wonderful work for charity alongside Tyler and the ABC Food Tours and maybe if you're a super fan, you could see that like you would assume that. It was going to charity, but I think. That I think that Clare had every right to express frustration over this so I'm not saying. I'm one team or the other, but I am saying there's already enough tension between these two. They can't be on the show that they can't be on the show together. He knows that he'll get eliminated night one he. He has to know that Claire is going to clarify. The way that she is so notoriously known for doing. Why doesn't he does wait until the following season and Explore relationship with somebody else. Yeah I mean I think that's the answer. Here is like no matter what you think or feel, it would be weird. As if they now start out the season, and if he does make it past night one we would. Feel about it if it went with clear right now after they're like already kind of like publicly. Arguing I I will say this and clears the fence. I don't know like the behind. The sort of Matt is a sensitive time for this here for the right reasons kind of stuff, right? We just got off a Peter Season. Where one of the biggest issues that we had was where audiences and contestants all admitted, we weren't really there for the right reasons like we were there to get the the attention that to show brings if we happened into with Peter. Great, but But this is a lot more of a focus on. How can I get something out of this? And it was a this could be my love story being played out for Clare. This is a serious thing for her. Like this is a big deal is a huge opportunity. She's very excited. Potentially find her partner from this experience and so I do get where she is sensitive to the here for the right reasons. Chat and talk because she is definitely going to be there for the right reasons, Clare wants to find her partner in this. That's why she saying Yes to this. I. I! Do think though that before this whole thing starts especially during a time where there are no rules, and we don't have any clear guidelines on what we should and should not be doing. I, think we all have to walk through this little bit of Grayson understanding that if Matt James Did this for charity. And he's done these press outlets just because he's bored and he's doing all this other stuff, not for attention at all. which is what he's claiming. Then we say all right. Let's see how it goes but I. Just it's hard for me to imagine that being the case right now now Ben. Why do you think the fans are coming at Clare so hard for this? Also I, WanNa say that Claire Did. Tweet Sturday. Saying that she was not pointing this at one specific person, she was not coming just at Matt and. The it backs up because there were two other guys from her supposed- cast that signed up for Cameo one. I don't have his name. I saw a couple of days ago. Before this whole math thing came up and then the other one is Dale Mosque. Who is? I believe former NFL athlete, he make. Yeah, he must be former so like it's not just. Matt She's concerned that she's not gonNA find somebody out of this..

"Hot topic of Bachelors Peter Webber. If you've forgotten. Yes, he was your last bachelor. Cheers on girls that still like me after drama with XS Madison in Hannah and Ashley What we've got going on. Okay, so matty put a Tiktok out there tiktok out there that featured. Kelsey Tammy and a couple of the other girls from his season and it was captioned this video. Featuring women who are too good for Peter L.. So. Wow Right. This comes on top of Mattie going on Caitlyn's podcast this week and talking about how? Days before the thing. With Kelly and Peter came out. Peer actually reached out to Matty. And then. Peter fired back and said Mattie. You know that there's more to this story. And, then in addition, there's more shade as far as tacos. Somebody asks in the comments. Section is Kelly in this video. And she said with our ex ll. So the the biggest school by go from Yeah Yeah and the biggest scoop, you get from Caitlyn's podcast. Shameless plug for off the. Is that they Mattie seems the most irritated with Kelly, and not so much Peter Because Peter in her ended, because they just weren't super compatible, but Kelly was her best friend in the house and a girl achieving imagine being a bridesmaid one day in her wedding, and of course, since Peter and in Kelly, have been seen out together since that first viral picture, they have not spoken. I'm really it's this whole like Peter thing right now has intrigued district. It's called us on since the beginning. I don't understand the timelines. Do you get the timelines of how everything has gone down well, that was another part of Caitlyn's park cast. Mattie says that there is some timeline issues that Peter doesn't seem very accurate with when he was on that podcast row week. So basically, he was I feel like there's a big chunk missing, and it seems like Kelly must have been. Part of his life more predominantly than he led on. And so I. Guess from all of you listening to. Valley well. Yeah, I mean Ashley There's a lot of people out there listening a lot of people out there. We know really good at investigating these things. How do we feel about this right, are we? Is this kind of like an Ra situation where we go? Hey, good for them. They're happy. Everybody's moving on or are we sitting back? Going there was some like weird stuff going on. I don't think viewers. We've been able to see the whole picture obviously like more to the story. Or we just all GonNa move on right now I. Don't think we're moving on anytime soon. And I do believe Mattie has something when she says that they must have been talking wall. He was still talking to her pre finale. because don't you remember when Barbara wrote under Kelly's picture and I think it was like the exact day of the Monday night finale, said something like I can't wait till lunch and shop with view, so that alludes to the fact, that Peter must have had something semi romantic, going along with Kelly, before he ended, things with Matt would've risky comment if If it really was kind of like a Oh. I don't realize what I'm doing Kinda here. How much trouble could that have gotten Peter into? If like that comment ever was like legitimize to be something more than what we took it as at the time, which was just like. Hey, they want to connect and still be friends. We don't really know why we don't get it. But like whatever let them do their thing now if it does point to something happening before the finale. That could have really blown up. In the face of everybody. Maybe it's too late to blow up now but I'm, but in my personal view of it all seems like. There must have been something and I think we'll have to talk to Kelly I mean I don't think we'll necessarily get honest answers from the Peter Kelly camp about the timeline of their relationship Peter was on a saying that they deemed a bit, and they ran into each other a bit in la before the finale. But. I really want to know more about the friendship. Break between Maddie and Kelly. It's a story that continues. We don't understand the whole picture because we don't have the full picture, but actually think you fulfilling this then with what we do, have next story.
