Trump to Visit California After Criticism Over Silence on Wildfires

"Going to begin right now going straight to California, which is facing, of course, record breaking wildfires more than three million acres burned joining me live. Los, Angeles mayor said he Mayor Garcetti, he thanks for joining us. We're seeing these horrific scenes out of the west coast the Bobcat fire burning fewer than twenty five miles outside of Los Angeles as of yesterday that fire destroyed almost thirty thousand acres. It's only six percent contained right now president trump is going to travel to your state tomorrow to meet local officials. He approved disaster relief for your stay three weeks ago. Are You satisfied with the trump administration's response? Well we always have great cooperation with our federal agencies and I want to thank them for that because they do step up whether it's corona virus or whether it's fires but I think leadership at the very top needs to be earlier stronger and from the President I wish that we would get as much attention not based on an electoral map but just. Purely on being Americans and the need for leadership to be from the white. House for all of America You know whether it's twin hurricanes on the Gulf coast or fires here on the West Coast we're one nation and sometimes looking at the leadership that comes out. It's easy to forget that it's taken three weeks I'm glad he's coming but. We need much more help when we have firefighters dying on the line and Washington refuses to help states and refuses to help local governments that are the first responders to emergencies like this. It's unconscionable. So instead of hitting the golf course going on vacation the president, the Congress respectively should sit down this week and finally make sure that there is assistance for. These brave men and women who are protecting our lives and protecting our property well to be clear. What exactly are you saying? President trump in your view would have done differently of California were say a republican state like Louisiana A or other states in the Gulf, Texas what what what would have done differently because he did sure Clare Disaster three weeks ago. Absolutely and I always say that that's very important that those agencies respond. We get good coordination but there's a refusal to blaming of blue states over red states in his mind I remind people there's a million Republicans that live here in the city of Los Angeles even if you're a partisan, you should be stepping up with empathy you should be stepping up with helping with a new cares act when people are slashing local government and state government laying people off this is bad for our economy. This is bad for our emergency response. It's terrible for our corona virus response, and so we need leadership that is equal across this country instead of being partisan and divisive, and it's very clear. This president seems to divide more. He's going to come out here and probably tell us I gonNA send you rakes instead of more help we need actual help material help not based on our party affiliation or how we voted leadership isn't about grudges. It's about governing for all. Well, let's talk about that because. Of Atta Rally last night president trump repeatedly told his supporters that containing the wildfires is all about forest management in. As you note, he's frequently criticised California for failing to rake the forest floors to prevent wildfires What's your response? What are the facts behind this? Well I listen to fire professionals not the president of the United States are politician when it comes to actually what causes these fires It's been very clear that years of drought seeing whether it's too much water and too much rain in parts of our country right now or too little. This is climate change and this is an administration that's put its head in the sand while we have democratic and Republican mayors across the. Country stepping up to do their part this is a administration president who wants to withdraw from the Paris climate. Accord's a later this year the only country in the world to do so Talk to a firefighter. If you think the climate change is real and it seems like this administration last vestiges of the flat earth. Society of this generation, we need real action we need to actually reduce the carbon emissions that we have and we. Need to make sure we can manage that water and this is not about just forced management or raking anybody who lives here in California insulted by that quite frankly and keeps perpetrating this live.

CDL Champs didn't disappoint

"Get onto champs though this is I think where the highlight of championship Sunday was the call of Duty League Championship. As said, this is really CDL has been the beacon of hope and light in the sports world since corona hit because say what you want. I understand the League has not been perfect I understand. People have been hit with Diaz attacks in events and that hasn't been handled. Well, I understand the game isn't that great at all. uninstalled it months ago right. So I get that I hear you but that doesn't take away that this is really been. The best source of entertainment if you're just looking at, you want the whole package when it comes to ease sporting event. CDL. Deliver that I think especially when it came to their championship and the playoffs so hats off to them right say what you want. But this really turned out to be I think the highlight of Cova de Sports thus far. Yeah for sure I. Mean like you said, it really was the total package. We had all the teams competing against one. Another regional differences there The viewing experience was still exciting I understand the players have their struggles, but that's you know. Unfortunately something that they really only have to deal with I'm not noticing the lag is I'm watching and things of that sort. Right? It was just pure entertainment for us. So yes, see cdl carry the torch during Kovin ended it ended with a bang to you know maybe we just Robertson just during the final four. That's all we'll be discussing and to start off with land in Dallas this weekend I mean that series really kind of set the tone for what we were gonNA. Get in this final four three showdown. I should say right with Dallas. ATLANTA CHICAGO WAITING And that went the distance right off the bat like. Dallas. Took that first game dropped the next to not GONNA lie inside I was a little nervous at that point with Dallas being down to you know to one in the managed to pull it out there. Dropping as into the lower bracket versus Chicago. But yeah that that really did set the tone and that was one of those where I think. Dallas. Really needed that victory because they had been so abysmal versus Atlanta throughout the year that that was almost felt like the confidence boost they needed to carry them into the final game right? Like I think they may have struggled at that point had they had to go up against Chicago after losing to Atlanta the same day because those games were played pretty much back to back later that afternoon was the second game and I thought had Dallas. Drop, that game. Chicago was playing good enough to potentially be able to beat them especially with the demoralized team coming there we talked about momentum all the time, and this was a big one like this was a big one i. felt for Dallas to to get that when I had more confidence in phase beating Chicago than I did Dallas beating Chicago at that point. Had Dallas loss because I agree with you, I. I think that the phase game the first phase game for Dallas was a huge confidence builder. Especially, you know I'd be curious and we'll get someone from Dallas on the show here. In the near future I'm curious on who was that a confidence builder for right would have been for the younger guys 'cause sometimes young and dumb is true right sometimes you're too much of a rookie to realize that hey, they have our number. Right there's truth to that because there's also on the opposite side where. You know they they might realize the situation right? So I wonder by beating them who was the confidence boost for? Was it for the young guys or was it for the old vets to be like we got this? So but either way they ended up pulling it off. Making it to the finals which hats off to both of us even though only one of us, we're right in our playoff predictions. At the start of the season we did both say I believe we'll have to run the tape, but Dallas was going to win Dallas I. Think was both of our favorites at the start of the entire season. Yeah I. mean or I again would probably go look at the tape if. I. Look. We're going to go with. ME. The way it was impressive though that that first game because that that game five, if you recall that it was Ramada that they played on. Dallas one, that six three. But I think like phase had opened kills on like seven or eight out of the nine maps that they played in. Dallas made some incredible comebacks along with some sloppy phase play. That allowed them to take that game five in. So that's also probably a good thing for Dallas to realize that point. Had we one that but if phase really played that game five, properly, it seemed like they should have won it. They had numbers in majority of the rounds They even had numbers I. Mean I think the Alien? Clare winning that four be two was such a clutch moment. In that search and destroy a cloister, hit a nasty wall bang on one of the rows that was probably one of the best wall banks you'll see in call of duty especially from a distance standpoint like the guy wasn't even it's not like he was on the other side of the wall he was running mid lane in place show was posted up in back in a in an dirty wall bank but you could see Dallas put in their homework look. That's what I took out of that is they were prepared for different scenarios. They were calm. Especially that four, V two but. Hell of a way to start off the weekend for sure for chimps.

Bachelorette Fans Upset By Clare Crawley Poster

"Some Bachelorette fans are confused and a little pissed off to be honest. We know the show likes to play with our hearts but the poster for the new season is messing with our heads. It features bachelorette Clare Crawley. Some fans were upset pointing that it looks like the poster for the graduate. You guys remember that movie it's a movie about an older woman seducing younger man. Well, this is pissing people off because Clare's, of course, the oldest Bachelorette today at the age of thirty nine years old and they're saying what the hell like, why are you making her look like she's just this old woman she's thirty nine. Right I mean, I have to say when I saw the poster I live for a Pantsuit I thought she looked strong I thought she looked beautiful I thought she looked like a woman that was going after what she wanted felt like it was her time you know obviously doing seasons previously and just not finding her match so I get how people can. Be upset but you also could just be upset right I. Just don't think it was necessarily negative I don't think he's trying to I. Don't think he was trying to play on her age I think it was trying to kind of show an empowered woman that's like this is my time I'm going after what I want exactly like what Mrs Robinson did. Not people who aren't complaining about. The movie and if you haven't, you should 'cause it's fabulous La. Also like how do you know that Claire Wasn't in on the joke like if I was the first game bachelor on ABC, I would try to make a tongue in cheek joke about it. My poster would maybe be derived from something of that nature. I just think that Latin sorry twitter is the Latin word for outrage and there's just people that want to start a fire and it doesn't make any sense.

Hello, Leela Crystal Henry is a police officer turned TV writer and has written on shows like the Chicago Code and a PB. She's also credited with them in on episode one, Zero Four. If you didn't like my story, right, your own I n Stacey Oh say for is a playwright and had one TV credit penn fifteen under her belt before. Watchmen. I'm kind of a fan of what you all did and because I'm primarily writer, this is a conversation I've been looking forward to for a long time. I want to start with a question about how the room actually function because this show appropriately enough is kind of like a Swiss watch, there are a billion spinning plates. As collaborators, how did you pull this off? How did you manage to do all of these things separately and together and make it seem so seemless Will I have two kids? I've given birth twice and I think there's sort of an analogy to to being on the other side of giving birth where you look back and you're like I literally have no idea how my body did what it did and I have no memory of what happened I kind of feel that way about looking back on the almost two years we spent writing this show I'm like Holy Shit. How did that happen? I don't know what do you guys? Do you guys think well, you know what? For me I had never been in a room this diverse before and it wasn't just the ratio of. The journalists there were playwrights and I wasn't necessarily used to that like I come from primarily the procedural world and to come to a room where everything was approached by character, and there was just a different way of breaking story and worked in network. Before it's the machine, it moves at a pretty rapid pace. It would wash one of the wonderful things about it is that we actually had time to develop a chemistry with each other. Stacey. For me, it was my second show that I had worked on I did the TV show happy for watchmen but really didn't talk much in that Roman. So Pretty Green and being able to be a part of the show and seeing all of the mechanics seeing people that were so incredible at hitching. So intelligence. So in love with watchmen. Had really ever heard of the comic book but I, was talking to David about how he made the decision in terms of which people he chose for the writer's room and he was saying he really likes people who ran hot and I feel like everybody cared so much about. Not only making the show truthful but like racial aspects of it, we all just cared so much. I think because we all run hot, it's reflected in show maybe it is that part of why this all worked is because it's not like you all knew that you were writing something that was going to be sort of profoundly impactful on the environment you were working on a show in and of itself, and that's all that mattered and you didn't have the weight of expectation there necessarily. But what you did have was a very fearless approach to topics that a lot of people are just uncomfortable dealing with although obviously the show is very much centered on race. You're also tackling the persistence of white supremacy in law enforcement. The role that the media including television shows plays in perpetuating racist thought. Generational trauma and the way inherited pain damages the people who come after. And you're even tackling the kind of inherent nationalism of the Superman of the hero itself. And you did it all it seems to me on my side of the TV without fear or blinking or compromise. But I'm kind of curious because you all work together in the room how you navigated that space together to be free enough to screw up. But not being so free that you end up hurting each other. I, think the show for me. It just happened to come at a time where there has been such a major shift and America's perception of race and policing and I think that police lean and to a larger extent the criminal justice system has always been a tool of white supremacy. And being former officer, I can say that you know I'm a witness to it but I think the response to racism feels different. One of the things that really attracted me to watch men when I had the meeting with Damon. was that he was like, okay. One of the things that we definitely WANNA tackle is racism and policing and the idea of masking gain, and all of that was very attractive to me because all I kept thinking about, what would a world where police wear masks look like? Because knowing how the system works now and how it oppresses communities of color and how it negatively impacts people of color while they're showing their face. So imagine what that would be like if the police were mass,

"Hello from Wonder Media Network I'm Jenny Kaplan and this is encyclopedia will manteca today's musician was a piano virtuoso and composer at a time when women rarely performed or wrote their own work although many of her compositions remain unknown her collaborations with her husband resulted in one of the most fruitful musical partnerships at the early nineteenth century. Let's talk about Clara Schumann. Clara Josephine was born in Eighteen nineteen in Leipzig Germany her father Frederik peak was a sought after piano instructor. Frederick married one of his students, Marianne and together they had five children, Clara and her four brothers. Is Five her parents divorced Clara, and her brothers became the legal property of their father. Clara's mother remarried and moved to Berlin which limited contact between them two letters, periodic visits. Frederick Recognize Clara's early musical talents and dedicated himself to her musical education. Under his tutelage she studied Violin Piano Music, theory, and business. She was one of the few pianists of her time who played by memory and she performed not only her own compositions but also those that were more well known by Johann Sebastian Bach Domenico Scarlatti. Ludwig. Van Beethoven and Robert Schumann. Robert Schumann due to a self inflicted injury to his right hand was the only composer among his contemporaries who did not play his own work. Clara took on his work for him. In nineteen thirty, one at the age of twelve she gave her first performance of his piano composition papillon. Over the course of the next five years, Clara, became wildly infatuated with Robert Schumann the match made her father very concerned at that point Clara was already famous and successful performer. Robert was a relatively unknown composer. Frederic. Saw The match as beneath Clara and so at the age of Seventeen Clara's father center to Dresden in hopes of severing ties between the two. "Hey everyone. This show might sound a bit different today because we're skimming from three different couches. This game is still working from home for the time being because of Kobe Ninety today, Clare, Babbit. No fonteneau joins us on skimmed from the couch. She is the CEO of feeding America. The nation's largest domestic hunger relief organization feeding America provides more than four billion meals to more than forty million people across the country Clare Thank you so much for joining us today. Welcome to skin from the couch what thank you so much for having me. We are. You've a fascinating stories. WE'RE GONNA get into it, but I gotta ask you what we ask all guests on the show skim, your resume for us. So I have a high school in my. To griped way Harrington graduate from high school. So everything I'm going to say a list of I. So I have an undergraduate degree I've that an limb in accession I'm a lawyer by training I worked in government in big for accounting in a major law firm or one that would be Walmart in northwest Arkansas and it's now Mike to be the CEO of feeding America as you just mentioned. something that we can't Google about you. that. Had My druthers by real fantasy would've been to sing background vocals for Luther Vandross. Do. You have a good voice. No. Not, really though my kids I think they seem like it but they not. So. We're GONNA talk about how you grew up and when we usually talk about people's professional story you know obviously, we're all shaped by how he grew up in our family dynamic and you know only children verses having siblings versus just different family structures, Daniela each have one sibling, and we talk a lot about that dynamic. You have more than one sibling and I would love for you. To to share a little bit worried about that. Boy Do I. Have More than one of laying. In fact unusually, ladies will use this to warm up audience what speech I'll ask them. To sue you have they never guessed one hundred and seven dams I. Say that one more time one, hundred and seven I thought it was a Typo as we were doing prep for this one, hundred seven. So your listeners will quickly say biology must not be the only thing involved fares. At birth adoption, Bostick theorem one of one hundred kids and I love that you early on asked that question because I do think it informs everything that matters about me was shaped by that fats. That is a lot of people and I cannot imagine saying that amount. If you bar blood in my family, let alone my siblings, I really want to understand. Like what that dynamic, wise and like your parents sound like extraordinary people that were able to give to so many individuals to really provide a home for so many children I mean literally just walk us through the very tactical how many people lived in the house like how many of your siblings names do you now? Okay I'm sure I, know all by siblings. Can and it's probably the reason that I remember he'll stories more than their names now because I used of all capacity. Sensitive, it's all that I've ever known. So my parents learned of two little kids neighboring town who were suffering for mcglasson abuse. My Dad was at work in bag. My mom was working from home and she got him in the Aren Ima. Ronald. So I'd never known anything this. It's through the ice of brands that I came to realize how bizarre was. So there were never more than sixteen Abbas several living at home at the same time but there were many times when there were six of us living at home at the same and what was something really unique about our family. Of course, the numbers are big but the other thing is that I love the way you talk about family because I. I've always had a sense of what it means to be family. That feel a little different than maybe some of the conventional thoughts around what it means to be family. So family for us in order mentally we were not biologically connected. So that's not what brother or sister in our household I had a lot more brothers and sisters I have a lot more. Than I have sisters. I was rough and tumble with my brothers and my sisters we engage the Lai in activities together. And often they were outside.

So those are all of my thoughts. Than I thought. I feel like something has. Hurt you and it's personally offended you. Because you do feel like you've found love at first sight and that you will I mean, here's the thing since the very beginning even when I questioned it you've been the biggest supporter of Clare. You've been a huge fan of her being the Bachelorette, and as we talked about last week like ultimately as fans of the show, we want people to find love however in. Whenever, it works the concern though is just happened. So freaking quick on a show that already happens really quick and so I think everybody was like what in the world's going on and that's a fair response is to then have the follow up questions on how did you know he was the one? Did you guys get talk off camera and we'll find that out as we go. But I don't I don't think it's wrong. To have the questions of tell me more about how in twelve days you knew this was worth leaving four, and if they both come and say, yeah, because it's love at first sight then I know you at and I know your response to them we'll be you'll probably cry like your bike is super emotional about it. So you're know I just. The risk is. Stresses me out. Because you care because I care a lot about her finding her person through this. Well, here's the thing. More than any other season. Well, here's the thing ash I bet you that you won't be the only bachelor fan that has a similar reaction to this and as a similar a similar hope for Clare going into it is I really want you to find your person. This is stressing me out. Tell me more which is why this season is going to be so interesting in since enjoyable to watch because your your questions will be answered and they're legitimate questions for you like these are your personally invested into the season. Yes. At this point, these are my questions you're right and then when I watch it, I'll be able to determine whether or not on a really off base. I think that I just I felt like I ended the podcast and I was like, Oh, I didn't really mention that I seemed very hypocritical I even knew it when I was saying it was like because I miss fall in love hard and fast but not very often and then But then at the same time I really do feel like..

And I mean Ashley don't get me wrong but we don't want to spoil the whole season on this podcast like there are things that we we have to hold back and less You know they're going to be made public, which obviously this whole thing going on in Palm Springs has been pretty public it's been. It's been pretty talked about what do you exactly talking about like did you feel like you didn't share enough or you shouldn't. Yeah. Okay. Okay. So there there is obviously now people are like Oh actually lying she liked knows what's going on Right. So I think that I'm lying but I'm also I'm I'm not at a will to be able to I'm not going to spoil it right Well and in your in your defense you didn't lie because when we did the podcast last week the lot of this was still unknown to you. That's very true. That is very true because I had not seen. The bachelorette or been on any sort of set at that point? So that was something I wanted to say. But there was also some stuff that I felt like I was maybe hypocritical about last week because I was like I'm the girl who says you can fall in love I fell love at first sight and then I was saying that. Clare leaving after twelve days with the guy seemed too risky. So I have like a whole bunch that I wanted to say about that. Say IT Ashley Okay. So last week I seemed a little hypocritical when I was talking about Dale and Clare Dale we talked we named him right last week. Dale is the guy that she's rumored to leave with. That's right. Yes. Okay. after after all you know. You guys did see me fall head over heels in love jared immediately the second I. saw him. He was like the center of my whole world and.

The Post-Pandemic Builder's Market

"Thanks so much for joining me today Clare. Ing Stance. Pleasure be here. I want to start with. So so we're talking about this thing that that you call a builders market and so just to start off the bat. Will Yael help us understand the distinction between a buyer's market and a builders marketplace. Absolutely. Absolutely. So You. Know the the the Post Covid and I'm I'm being optimistic to say the Post Kovic. Market right because we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel However in May, coexist with us for a while I. Think businesses are are are starting to emerge from their hibernation their you know their self-imposed `isolation. Sarah. And part of what we are seeing unfortunately is rising unemployment we had we had been. Very blessed. I think with a with a very low historic, low unemployment rate, Pre Cova. Now, of course, the unemployment is climbing as companies have had make very difficult decisions. you know just to just to survive. Let, alone come out of stronger. and. So with the rising unemployment, a lot of compainies look at that market of. Available talent and they classify it as a as a buyer's market rate, the supply and demand kind of thing, and I would challenge companies to shift their perspective. Toward that humid pool as a builder's market and the reason I say that is because you you can look at this. Situation. We are in the economy that we're in right now as a buyer's market from a stamp wing of. Renegotiating agreements with suppliers and vendors and partners, and trying to. Make. Your cash flow more efficient. You're spending more efficient, and that's all well and good when it comes to candidates though that you want to add to your team. The smart companies, the smart years are looking at this as a builder's market in saying, we're not just going to scoop up talent that's out there because the supply is so high, we're going to be that much more strategic about who we add to our teen and make sure that each of those people if the right fit for where we are trying to go is an organization. So it's a very different Lens through which to look at the employment market, the candidate market as a you know from the eyes of builder as opposed to a buyer. I. Say. Okay. So was there a process that they go through to figure out? Where they need to be adding or what they're looking for in in the right talent. Yes, absolutely, and so. Every every company that I work with in in cove it, you know the the impact of covid. Doesn't change my initial focus with any any company I work with. We always start with getting really really clear on what that company's mission is and when I say mission a lot of companies. They're the reflex reaction is, Oh, we've got that covered. We've got mission statement out on our website. Right and a mission statement. Too often fortunately is so far afield from a company's. Mission, the company's forget what they're. You know what their purpose is why they are in business to begin with up. They are all about what they're looking to achieve long term, and so it is really important Especially coming out of the covid impacted in life as we know it Chew Revisit Reach Next Redefine or or craft from from. Square one what your company's mission is you have to get that right I. Truly truly believe that the mission is the springboard for everything else. It's the filter through which you should be looking at on your business decisions. You're hiring decisions, you're spending decisions and so when we talk about that in the context of candidates in who to add. The. Clearer. You are in your mission. The easier. You can then say, okay. Now that we we know we're all aligned on what that mission is. At least from the you know the top levels of leadership. Now, let's take a fresh look at are. We structured the right way to achieve that mission? Do we have the right people in the right roles with the right skills and the right motivations? Right, and so the that clarity around mission? is so fundamental. It's so foundational to any bits regardless of the stage of its evolution whether they are just starting up. They're transitioning from You know one face to another television that mission clarity shooed determine who you hire where you high or how you hire in in how you put those skills to using organization.

St. Clare of Assisi Novena - Day 4

"Annot Vena to Saint Clair Day four. From a letter to intrude of brew. This labor of ours is brief. But. The reward is eternal. Let the noises of the fleeting world and its shadow not confound you. Let the empty spectres of the deceiving world not drive you mad. Shut your ears to the whispers of hell and strong breath down its attempts against you. Willingly bear adverse evils and let provident goods not puff you up. For the one requires faith. The other demands it. What you promised, God faithfully render and he will repay you. Dear Saint Clair. As a young girl, you imitated your mother's love for the poor of your native. Assisi. Inspired by the preaching of Saint Francis, who enthusiastically of his Lord Jesus Lady Poverty. You gave your life to Jesus at Nineteen years of age allowing Saint Francis to cut off your beautiful hair. And Invest You with the Francis can happen. All through your life, you offered your great suffering for your sisters the poor Clare's and the conversion of souls. You greatly aided Saint Francis with his new order carrying on his spirit in the Franciscans after his death. Most of all, you had a deep love of Jesus in the most blessed sacrament which fueled your vocation to love and care for the poor. Please pray for me. But I will seek keep Jesus as my first love as you did. Help me to grow in love of the blessed sacrament. To care for the poor and to offer my whole life to God. Heavenly father. Thank you for the gift of Saint Clair. Through your intercession please here and answer my prayer in the name of Jesus your son. Man.

The Bachelorette's Clare Crawley Is Being Replaced by Tayshia Adams After Finding Love

"Got to start with our favorite subjects on nightly pop the Bachelorette and that is. A Lot. Clearer actually met somebody in the off season and is being replaced. She is passing the torch to twenty nine year old tastes Adams from Colton season. The question is, are we buying this story or did Bachelorette do this somehow to just get those viewers because people were not so sure about clear What do you guys think I definitely think that that's a ratings grab. To be very honest with you. But it's good to see that this year they're going to have. Some chocolate in the mix you know the bachelor. Is Brother and it looks like the grocery she got so much going on to yes it's. It's a good change I. Think for the entire network I think everybody's about that Roxy. First and foremost finding. Love good for her. You know Kudos to you being able to a month. But come on C. bringing a lot of flavor. Okay. Younger. Not that that really needs anything because I know that they were saying something about like, Oh, the older crew isn't going to be as exciting as a young one I have the network. No. If you come to one of my backyard parties listen COUPLA flowing. You're going to see some excitement there. Okay. But I think that she's going to bring a lot of flavor an emit. Yeah. That's the thing with guys. It doesn't matter what age guy is. He's GonNa look like an idiot on TV trying to find love. So I think. It'll be good. No matter what. But I think we're all excited about patient. So we're a lot of the bachelor stars the previous ones. So this is this is fine

"Welcome to fat Mascara I am Jess Hi. With and. Blew out everybody's ears sorry about that. I'm very excited. You're excited because honestly we're recording this little bit early you're listening to this. Holy. Cow, it is August. That's right. It's August this. Time in twenty twenty is the weirdest thing. It's like I. IT still feels like February February went forever. Then all of a sudden it was August and yet. I don't know there's like none of those markers like didn't see your mom for mother's Day like don't go away for this birthday and so like. It's faster yet slower. It's the weirdest remembers I remember sitting in bad in like March and being like Jeff do think this whole quarantine thing could go onto like a bro like asking just like totally well I remember you asking me that too yeah and I was like. Yeah. I also can't believe since you're lake was born since February. I've literally seen you in person only wants it once or twice I saw you on the street. Yeah. I didn't see each other again. Because I see you so often, but I see you on the show will me I I think this is our lives. Now this is this but this is so sad it can't be like this. It can't be like this. I know I know well, for people who enjoy summer, which isn't Jessen I might alright bringing the rest on your summer like happy August to you for everybody else who just really hot and sweaty right now we're getting through it. We're just getting. Some are in the city. I always have that like hot Tom Summer in the city song every time like go outside just like feet pounding the pavement. Yeah, and then it just slows down into like a milky. As Long. As. Low a nineteen seventies like cast over everything just like doom and gloom summer of Sam the seriously it's not fun right now anyway, let's bring the phone. Let's bring the levity. Bring the joy. What do we got this week? Let me tell you. We've got the headlines. We've got men wearing makeup. Okay. I'm very excited about this trend I feel like we report on this like every six months but I feel like there's always a tweak there's always a new span. There's always a new angle can't wait to talk about this and we are going to answer a listener's question about behind the scenes at fat Mascara how the sausage gets made, and of course, we're GONNA raise wand all that well done Jeff I'm excited about this show you ready to do it. Let's get hot town in the city. than. Them doing the news. Virtually, from my vacation just kidding I'm recording the Ireland I should've said. Before we're doing an early not early in the morning earlier than we would because janitors going on vacation. That's how much we love you. Instead of US being L., we're going to take a week off. Oh No, we've recorded double that episode for you. So if some huge news comes out at the end of August and it is not including this, you cannot blame me I was just thinking like watch oprah like surprise drop beyond style like a makeup line like Oprah's makeup line and we don't talk about it like every facet like off their game it's because I'm recording early just so you know. Okay. So remember last week when we talk about Clare Sonic Failing Jason, you're like, well, they're no dummies all those people are going to be. You know they'll find something to work on. Well, did they ever? So Dr, Rob We've both interviewed I know. He actually left the company before it closed and started up this brand called Oculus and so this is where all the technology's going. It's launching in the fall. It's basically like you know a courage coffeemaker. It's like that for skin care. So I, gotTa look at it. It's a little like device you putting these pods. K Cups of care and it mixes together the pod that you want and squirts out a fresh batch just one application of your skincare.

"But what like it's disrespectful to the institution that gave you an opportunity when honestly like he didn't really deserve it, you haven't been on the bachelor in ten years. You know I'm I'm a little annoyed but. But I really can't be that annoyed because what we got and what we ended up with is so fabulous and it just proves that it should have been tation she was overlooked, and this is what happens when you overlook someone. Are you happy? Yeah, and also according to the Snatcher, they're bringing in new guys for Teixeira, some of the guys who were announced as Clare's first batch of guys. But that we're like really young, then Kobe happened. So they brought in new guys and so some of those original guys will be coming in for. And I hope she gets the full boat of suit like I don't have any. I don't WanNa see her in fifteen contestants. Limousines, I want the whole full monty for her and it Kinda sucks like she is getting guys who were. Cast for Clare because you know they cast differently for every person based on age look like you know what I mean. Yeah, and so I don't know I. Just I really hope she doesn't get shafted. Yeah. That's what I'm hoping to, and I also goes without saying now, Clare must marry this man and be with him for forever ideas, children, grandchildren, the whole nine, the whole nine yards if they're not living together in a nursing home when they're ninety like, I, am I'm protesting upset? It's just I. Don't know something about this. Really rubbed me the wrong way it's like. How many Bachelor Bachelorette I think we're going on like thirty now, who been the leads. You your special like everyone falls in love like it's hard and you see them struggling right it right. especially as it gets closer and it's like five people. Four people. Yeah. That's literally what you signed up for, and if you can't handle it in the, maybe you shouldn't have signed up for that is the literal show at sometimes people do break down that fourth wall, even like Colton. To go meet with Kasey. But like he wrote it out till the final three. Yeah. She had like four guys left and she's still decided like I. Don't i. just I'm not. I'm not happy with her I'm GonNa, lie. No, I'm not happy with her either but I'm living for the tea and I'm living for Asia so like it's It's double edge mad like really bad. No, I agree like I. Feel like the point needs to be made but like. When I go move on with day, I'm excited about the new season of the Bachelor I absolutely love taste I think she will make a sensational Bachelorette. Oh, like everything hobby list and inside and out, and I'm so she she really was the Bachelorette of Paradise, Nicole thought it was her true. It was Asia, and so she she's got the chops to juggle everything..

Clare Crawley "Began Communicating" With Bachelorette Contestant She Fell for Prior to Filming

"Is gonna look very weird in very different. Here's why Original bachelorette Claire Crawley decided to quit the show mid season has nothing do with Corona virus. She caught something, all right. Love. She fell in love with one of the contestants and decided she didn't need to keep going. Rumor has it. They started flirting before production even started. A source on the show, says he found a way to get in touch with her and began talking. By the time filming began. They were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance, and it became so obvious from her subsequent view dates. That her heart wasn't in it, And she just wasn't feeling it. Then she told us she wanted out. There are

‘The Bachelorette’ Casting Shakeup Expected for Upcoming Season

"And I know we don't normally cover bachelor bachelorette stuff but this one thing kind of just took our interest and personally having watched bachelor in paradise. I have a real liking towards Teixeira. So we just wanted to discuss because I think it's interesting. So. As you guys know Clare Carly was the Bachelorette her season of course was interrupted with the whole Cova situation. And nothing is confirmed with basically the rumor is that she refused to continue shortly after filming began. Because she fell in love with one of her contestants. This guy named Del Moss he's thirty one. You know he there was a little bit of drama I think early on with his social media activity according to reality Steve which I can't speeches reliability but I can say he has been right. A lot of times said the basically she fell in love with him night one she gave him the first impression rose and she you know think about anyone else she felt so hard and she was done. and. So. I guess she really just didn't want to continue filming and so. The producers obviously were freaking out and Teixeira Adams who is twenty nine years old she was on Colton season she was basically the runner up. Her and Hannah after Colton basically quit to get. CASSIE and she was on Bachelor in paradise and she was dating John Paul. Jones. She's just a bombshell. I've always thought she was a class act. She's stunning. She's really good energy. I actually am really surprised that she was not always the choice now that I'm looking back on it although. I. Remember when Clare was initially announced we were thrilled because I think it's really exciting when. The woman is a little bit older maybe want something different in her life at that point whatever. But what's interesting is if you remember when they had done the initial casting, they had to let some people go because they wanted order contestants. So apparently, and again, I can't tell you this designed to present. This is what's being reported apparently, they kind of were calling back on both some of the contestants eight initially lecco because they were too young and also some of the contestants that Clare had eliminated. So I don't know what's going to happen, but you know Franz Verbs, let's just take this as factual. I think it's more fun to analyze it that way. And I have to say like while I'm thrilled if this is the case these I would so much rather watch tasty to be honest I think she's just really fun and lively and I didn't I got a bad taste in my mouth from Clare after initially liking the whole Matt James Situation I just thought that that was a little bit. I don't know I was not into it when she kinda call now for basically doing charity work and like I'm happy that Claire Found love that's going on. But what's the fuck? How many people think they found their person the first night you know what? Yeah. I mean listen I'm not a bachelor watcher. So I don't like there's a lot of I guess. Details and and patterns and things that happen over the seasons like with different people and people who nuclear people don't like I'm not involved in any of that I really don't know I have a very like personal view of the situation but to me I always thought the whole point was to find the person you wanted to be with the bachelor and a lot of people probably knew in the beginning but continued to date throughout the show like I just I just thought that was the point maybe I'm off with all of my lack of experience in the bachelor but from the very beginning watcher beginning understand her it seems like that's kind of the point of the show. No. I mean, yeah you know listen I do believe that there are certain times when you just know and you're like, this is my person and there's two sides to that one one I'm sure one side could say like. She's right. It wasn't paired the other guy she was doing them a favor, but the other side is. Okay fine. You have that in how much better of a story will be that at the end of the day you knew since day one I don't know the whole thing seems weird. If this is really the case, all I will say like of Clare's happy and she's with this guy in their happy he's hot For her but if tastes the Bachelorette, that would be some shit.

"And it's our Pleasure to welcome in a two time Emmy Award winning bucks. TV analysts a five time eh, NBA All Star. Did also play at Bella and won a national championship. That's Marcus Johnson here with us on the Zach Yelp show. Marcus appreciate the time How you doing? I'm doing bills. Everything is no good. All can play good benefits in basketball family from your lips to God's ears. Can't wait to see what's gonna happen in the N B. A bubble. I saw video back in February, You were wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey and you actually threw it down in your road. I'm still dunking at 64 years old. Have you been dunking at all during the pandemic? Or was that a one time thing at 64 district Cream donuts, Bad eye. You must have been nervous, right? Well, every year on my birthday, I do a dung just to see if I could still do it. I didn't plan on doing it this year. Just chill out at my son's a SIA. All over social media. They have got to do it contingent to the one in Sydney one in with that inside, And so, of course, I did a couple of warm up to feel pretty good and And we decided absent phone brought up two tackles. Omar, you know, taco fallen. Whoever jumped over him, Aaron Gordon. Whoever dumped over way last year Next year I'll be 65. That's the official retirement age. I've been retired. I'm Travis. You have to do one more 65 years old. I gotta pay the bed after that. I don't blame you. I don't. I can't even dunk right now. I can't imagine being able to dunk when you're in your sixties. Marcus Johnson here with us on the show. When we look at this MBA restart. We know that the Bucks are the best team in the league. From a record standpoint right now they're going to be the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. The's eight games inside of the bubble. What do you look for out of them where they could really ease themselves back into playing shape? The annex a great question. I was just kind of pondering that looking at the books. Play that scrimmage against neworleans the other night and You know, I just don't think that teams should put too much into the eight. Feeding games. It's a gradual buildup. You want to be planned your best basketball. Obviously when, when the playoffs start. This is such a weird. Praise the different type of experiment. Probably guys. And so, um, you know, see positives from the brother. I've seen not good things about in terms of Kind of fighting since, um, some difficulties against the product in here tonight, but, you know the season games Because boom Jose lost compete. He's gonna want these guys to come out and and just so effort show competitive competitiveness from Paris. But I'm not sure about the ones. The won and lost record is important. At this stage of the game. It's all about kind of a slow, gradual buildup. I've been exploding wants to play all secure here. When you look at the team from last year to this year. What do you see is the biggest difference as they even got better from what they were last year, which was impressive. Well, I mean, ways that it rest values that they're so what he has done that He's given Chris Middleton a breather at defense. Can't Chris I was just looking up Christian defensive record 107th overall, 22nd ranked small forward LeBron and collide As I said at the top. But Chris doesn't have to get all that energy trying to beat this Great three and the win. Clare and I could focus on his office and I was a result becomes one of seven or eight guys who was Trying to suit you both 20% from the three point line, stick to the set plus from the field and monitor it from the people that I think a 20 point today. Yes, I think that's direct benefit to Chris Middleton. Eric Bledsoe also, let's not forget him, Master. He struggle big time last couple of years in the playoffs and honestly, stuff a big farm of the playoffs. Uh, this year, he seemed to be a lot more comfortable in his basketball scared now. It is kind of getting a late start based on tested positive and them in quarantine and all that stuff. How quickly he could kind of get back into a rhythm and flow going to be a big difference. But today I think this team has gotten even better, but local tradition of Robin Has really been a great great move. But John forced our president breaking Robin Lopez, and now we've got two bent beak gets standings and leave so I think the defense has been even better than the great detective team from last season. Marcus Johnson here with us it Zaki help show on CBS Sports radio doing a little bubble breakdown on the Milwaukee butts nationally. The big question about Chris Middleton is. Can the Bucks win it all with him? Be in the Bucks. Second best player. He's a two time All Star. Give me the local feel on that. Our people still concerned locally about Middleton be in that number to peace and winning the championship this year. Right here is where you go. I could go to a barber shop in the hold of the brothers give Ah, little about depended on Chris have the huge games but In terms of inside basketball people, people that have watched Chris closely like myself. I really believe that Chris, it's all about his confident being an all Star to the second consecutive D up really? Helps his belief in himself as being one of the elite players in the league and kept in one of the shooters in the league. And you couple that with the fact that he comes back, he's getting guns for arms and get this definition I've never seen before. His body status. Probably way dog looks really good, really in great shape of the Kalpoe talked about his explosion and bounciness coming back after the four months off was really, really surprised. So he's really putting the work that during this time off to come back and make himself I've been so on. But with president mentally I think that way you get tomato last year, the average with just 14 points in the field, and he left. How Laurie, pending for a big cheque of those minutes in that six game lost to the crap. You have to be enough to love. So you've got a lot to prove, but I think Based on what I'm looking at changes of his body where he is physically brave is right. But I think he's ready to make that statement. When I look at the Eastern Conference, I really do fully expect Milwaukee. To get to the finals. They were in that one seed spot last year did not get there When you look at the Eastern Conference this year, who's the biggest challenger for the Bucks when the season resumes tomorrow night? It's really interesting. You get him some. I think three really legitimate. Even the Miami that mix also, you can't count out exposure and then the butler as your lead gap, but I think there's still a little bit godly hero of none. And guys like that. And then he began by making just a little bit young and that, Betty, but I really believe that Celtics man. I mean, people talk about the Raptors, who I respect about. Nick Norris is a great coach. Brad Stevens was great, but one through four in terms of scoring and issues and problems. You know Jason Taylor planted Kemba Walker is the number one option. That's two through four group these guys to produce and I think about taking on like the game, and that's the most since that Golden State a couple of years ago, but most just like second most 1995 in terms of looking for and then when Gordon Hayward is your fourth option, going going home. What is your fourth option? And then we talk about a container my greatest been, but then this Dylan Brown watching his footwork. Watching the lip bruised stands the finishes in traffic. He's a guy that could be a real problem for team like the book had been. The wild card would be market smart. Distant Jabba, even though Marcus Smart Sixthree export out of 16 11 Marcus Smart office of players and we know how much she just underneath their skin. And so he's a guy that has given me honest as much trouble as anybody scoring effectively and officially against it, So I said that and then the two big catch I mean the pick and roll for five hours straight that Boston life's run. Those two guys found business cancer, pounded it inside a greatjob getting into the paint and score of them that I'm not gonna puke my shot and roll that movies have private medical himself. I really believe that Celtics to me that they're not deed. I think both those four score that they have been a lot of pressure on the Milwaukee ways that do the Middleton. To defend at a high level every night in order to be a minute in a series.

MLB Marlins Coronavirus Outbreak, Plus Dodgers v. Astros Rivalry

"Alden how you doing? I don't know what I am right now. You and a lot of folks in and around Major League, baseball because while last week the League got off to a mostly successful start minus von Soto test. The last forty eight hours have been difficult. Things have been chaotic. And you and I are talking right now on Monday afternoon and we know that eleven Miami. marlins players in two coaches have tested positive for coronavirus. I mobile postponed the MARLINS oils game as well as the Yankees. Phillies game that was slated for today because the phillies played Miami over the weekend in were potentially exposed. Alden, the League's owners meeting today to discuss the outbreak. What came out of that? Woman. I tell you the big thing that didn't come out of that. In that is that there were no serious discussions yet about the possibility of cancelling this season, which was obviously the question that came up on everybody's minds when they see sort of an outbreak like this, take place. What happened with the Marlins in Philadelphia was just a reminder of how fragile this season is. It's a reminder of the fact that Major League. Baseball is trying to stay to season in the middle of an escalating public health crisis in a country that obviously hasn't been able to corral the corona virus. Any little one thing can send this season spiraling. But the one thing Meena you kept hearing when baseball got back, and the positive cases were lower than people anticipated, and there started to be a little bit of optimism about a spots. Chances of actually making this happen for one thing you can make being reminded of was at once. The season began layers were going to start travel. They were GONNA go on the airport. Security you're going to get on planes? They were GONNA. Stay on, hold stay in hotels and the complications of actually making this work. We're going to be incredibly more difficult than it was. When those guys were just in their own home, cities were already seen that be really difficult, and it is only the first four days of the season. There's a lot that starring about this including number of tests, but especially jarring is the revelation that the marlins players after learning about the positive tests decided in a group chat apparently. To play. They let the phillies now. And then the phillies also decided to play, and apparently that was sufficient. Does that surprise you? I think what's interesting about. This isn't like the sensibilities of Clare's or sort of the tenants that players hold onto. Don't necessarily apply situations like it's what I mean by. That is that athletes always operate under this mantra of suck it up? Play through injury clay. Hart show up every day. Do the best that you can do and when you're talking about a public health crisis when you're talking about the coronavirus pandemic in a situation where this virus spreads so easily. Those sensibilities don't apply here. They've been operating under a similar mindset like this their entire lives. It's what sort of made them great in their at their sport, which is just. Suck it up and play in. Get on with it, and that's why it can't be their decision. Major League Baseball at the very least, and at most a third party is going to have to intervene in this in these matters, because if not. This is going to continue despite a web, this season is going to be compromised and even worse. The pandemic in this country is going to get even worse.

Premier League: Manchester United Qualify for Champions League

"Manchester United and Chelsea qualify for the Champions League. UNITED WITH A to victory over less than meanwhile Chelsea without win against walls sees all. You're going to show and frank. Lampard side make it into the top four less city, but let's not forget with fifteen points Clare of fifth on New Year's. They dropped the ball completely in twenty twenty and have to make do with Europa League football dodgson staving echo with us, stevie united with win on the season. You one of the harshest critics so all. He's proved you wrong, isn't he? Host you? Listen the. You, you can't see that. Qualifying for the champions. League is not success. For, all the Because as You know ended a day. I think the biggest and the main reason why the option because when transfer marquette. Bought Bruno Fernandes without that piece of business. This this would happen so listen. He always asked to coach the team and he obviously had a hand and say Bruno Fernandes Oh yeah as I said. It's success. I'm not convinced that he can take them from from. Champions League qualifies to actually vying for the title against Liverpool in city I still. The way way off and I still think they have to say more players, but yes, but all they get into the champions lease as a success. But he's had plenty of time. Your United Stat Dome. That now. All you early I mean they close form then they all Liverpool, which is incredible thirty two from Bouma. Thirty three away from Liverpool, and it's not the right time in because I think that the well getting into jump and say those incredible finish I agree with Stevie. Bruno Fernandes doesn't come in. At this, all thing is that. Is Jason for Non Stop the season? Why did they wait until John? Rudy Sunan done I will never ever. No nothing deserves credit ease. That's big name. Players go shifted the dynamic inside the dressing room. He's might young is made them hungrier. There have been assigned to watch is not too many egos at the football club anymore, and you have a job on the summer. Trying to convince big plans like will stay on. And then chartwell tracked maybe three or four plans to try and give him so titled Till Next Season Way to they need to add to the squad don. I was still like say them. With a recognized number nine I get the argument where people think that Mason Green was going to lead the line, and maybe the could bring in some more to plan the rights on side because I'm not convinced marcial. Yet again I think the such a good player net. He's not consistent enough. And Watching Higher Maguire today and Victor Lindelof as a pair. I mean less than without James Madison. Pereira without Soyeoun shoe without some of their very best players, another about that was missing volley at Indiana Joe Coast to center offs problems time after time after time, and this under-strength less decide so I would like to see, and if they all going to try and compete again can get closer to the city. Liverpool in my opinion, need Weltklasse Center

Frank It Forward: How to Sell Ball Park Franks When No One's at the Ballpark

"The weirdest baseball season in history started last night. The Twenty Twenty Major League baseball season debuted with a clash between the Washington nationals in the New York Yankees, nationals park in the country's capital was packed with. Virtual fans, that's right, the fans you may have seen on TV. Were just images manufactured for the cameras by Fox Sports? In reality, the teams play to an empty stadium because of covid nineteen. This season teams will play only sixty games down from the typical one hundred sixty two right now. There's no intention to have many live fans at any of them just TV cameras. We won't get into the debate about why Fox decided to manifest virtual fans complete with recorded sounds of cheering applause, and the like the TV audience know. Today, we're interested in one of those things that like baseball. Itself has always seemed timeless the stadium hotdog. Too, many of us me included a hot dog goes with the baseball game. The way hot fudge goes with vanilla ice cream. They just belong together, but not this year. Needless to say virtual fans don't order francs with mustard and onions, nor do they reach out and snack a beer from a wandering vendor that's leaving entire industry, high and dry stadium vendors are out of work. That's giving Ballpark Franks the nation's number one. One brand of hot dogs and opportunity to look philanthropic, while also promoting their dogs to fans, watching Games on the small screen on Wednesday, which not coincidentally was national hotdog, day Ballpark Franks and it is donating one hundred thousand dollars to unemployed stadium vendors through a baseball charity in campaign. They're calling frank it forward. They're also asking fans to tweet their favorite baseball memories along with the Frank. It forward Hashtag of course. For every tweet that fans post ballpark will donate an extra dollar up to fifty thousand dollars within a day. Fans had begun complying. Some tweets were clearly planted by Tyson foods. ballpark Franks owner to get the Frankfurt Frenzy on fast forward, but some were genuinely sweet like a tweet from Ban Molly, Heidrick, she finally recalled attending the thousand fifteen world series game with her dad, telling her for the entire five hours that she would be Zombie the next day at school. She said she almost caught a foul ball and yes, she couldn't stay awake in math class. Her HASHTAG, no regrets. The promotion gives a sheen of sweetness and philanthropy to the ballpark francs, which happens to be America's biggest seller of the process. Meet parent. Tyson foods of course is struggling with its image these days between having covert outbreaks at many of its meat, processing plants, and being under investigation by the Justice, Department for alleged poultry price-fixing, but on a summer night. We need to dwell on the bigger picture. Maybe. What's worth spending time on? Is The marketing rivalry between BALLPARK Franks in America's second largest brand Oscar Mayer that brand owned by Kraft, was revived three years ago when its parent put ten million dollars into removing chemicals like nitrates nitrites from its dogs, the attempt to cater to the clean eating tastes of millennials. It helped nowadays craft hines has been doing well selling its enormous variety of grocery store staples to our newly stay at home nation, but how will it compete at the? No, Fan Ballpark. Hopefully not with a repeat of its attempt from twenty nineteen, a hotdog ice cream sandwich. It was made with. Get this candied hotdog, bits, hotdogs, sweet, cream, spicy, dijon, Gelato, and a cookie Bun, according to writer Michael Clare and a Major League baseball publication called cut four last August. Clare's take on what was clearly a desperate attempt to get the upper hand in the Weiner wars. This hot dog mustard ice cream. Monstrosity needs to return to whatever hell it came from. So. Far Oscar Mayer hasn't made any announcements that one this year may be given covid nineteen craft hines got a little more sensitive about the queasiness factor when it comes to the economics of the Frankfurter fight between Tyson and craft Heinz. The ballpark matters in two thousand sixteen Americans spent twenty million dollars buying hotdogs at ball games, so says the national hot dog and Sausage Council. Council apparently, that's the last time they gathered this debt. So the biggest question this year will be. Will fans watching at home still by hotdogs, or will they just eat? Whatever happens to be for? Dinner served on a real plate, not in a little cardboard dog holding. If that happens, the frank forward campaign is unlikely to give much of an advantage to Ballpark, Franks and hopefully. WHO's out of work? hotdog vendors have already found a way to turn their talents to something more lucrative. And perhaps less greasy.

"Thank you. BECCA. There aren't many times where I can't speak. She rendered speechless for. I got it on one hand. I mean. I mean it was a deep question, but I didn't know that. That's I mean you can tell somebody who's really been through some things and then taken the time to reflect on where they are now when they give that kind of answer, they've definitely done the work like she's not just saying I've done the work done at her last answer means she's done the work. And if you are out there, listening and you're one of these men on her season. You're welcome because we just gave you a whole got. To understand flair and the gift that she is. Yes, we'll and so one thing and I know I lost my train of thought earlier when we were talking to her at the beginning, but. You know we're in this day and age where we keep pushing for change. You know, we've talked about it a lot in diversity on the franchise, but one thing, and which is why I'm so happy that we're changing it up a little bit and bringing on Clare is because she's done this before. She's been on a few seasons. She is a little bit older. She's dated. All types of men has been in all sorts of relationships and I'm glad that we're. We're steering away from just like the Yon- super like just hopeful Oh. Yeah, I'm here to find love like she is the real deal as you said she, she has put in the word, she has really grown in herself, and she owns it, and so I cannot wait for her season. She was one wayne before she was even announced when they were throwing out. Different Bachelorette's out there. At first, she didn't even cross my mind that you know. I assumed it would maybe be Tia. Somebody from Peter Season, but she. I think is. Well beyond just like the best choice at this time to really bring us back to the root of what the show is, and that is to find a solid partnership and I can not wait I. I told her this, too. I'm like I feel like you're really like okay with putting the guy through the ringer for your heart and it's going to be. Such a balanced season, full of drama, full of fun, full of love, full of heartfelt conversations, full of depth and she, she is going to deliver all of that and more. I have no doubt absolutely, and I was thinking the whole time we were doing the interview with her. What would be her tagline? That's what I kept thinking about. What is it going to be and I feel like it has to after this whole talking to her. I'm like it has to be something with clarity. Right because we're, she is right now, and if y'all, take it, I'm suing. and He. I You Asia. and. This is one podcast that I think multiple times listening to her speak I have gotten full body chills with things that she has said you know as women. We have all been through tough breakup. We have all been through hard times like we can all relate in that way. We're all human and she does a great job of putting that into words where we can all understand. And I hope that viewers can watch her and listen to her, and not just look at her as the Bachelorette like. As just clear this amazing human being who has grown so much since we were six years ago. Yeah I excited. You're excited I. Just with Clare. What you see is what you get and I can't wait for to all unfold you guys if you know about Clare before now you know, and we thank you so much for hanging out with us because we're so excited for Clare Season and we hope that you guys are two can't wait for it to air, but in the meantime. "Squish questioned the people who are like I can't believe you're thirty nine and seat when it's like. Do you understand the perks that come with being thirty nine in single like I can sleep as late as Bob? No kids bothering me. I can travel wherever I wanna go I mean there are perks to all different situations, but yeah. It's not just not sitting here on Friday night going, what can I do myself? I'm not having pity parties by any. Yeah, yeah, you're living your best life and you will do that with or without a man, and that's the advice that you're given to these ladies. Absolutely man does not define you. Alright so looking back if you could sit with twenty year old Clare Face to face. What advice would you give to her? This is the question that makes me cry every time. I do I get so emotional about it, but. I don't even know where I would start with that, but if I could speak to twenty year old Clare, I would say. It's GonNa. Be Okay. And all the hard work that you're GONNA put it in and that you're going to be going through. It's GONNA stop. It's going to challenge you to your core. But it's all for the greater good. For yourself and for your life and you. You're worth it. You're worth fighting or your worst. Fighting for yourself. You know fighting for your unhappiness. It is worth it and it's GonNa suck, and it's going to be hard But fight for yourself, because at the end of the day there were going to be times when you feel like you're the only one fighting for yourself and nobody fights through, and you're all alone but as long as you don't give up on yourself, it's worth it. It's so worth it. I mean I say that and it gets emotional because. I've had so many moments of feeling so alone. And just want to give. But seeing where now in licensing feel about everything allies now is so incredibly worth it to just. When nobody else is there for you? Be there for yourself. where I don't have anything else to say, hi, Maureen is not the the. I can't speak. That's like a clearly. What do? You have rendered racial speechless. I don't know how often that happens. Sure. I'm sitting here a couple like.

"On your season or group date. What would it be? One group dates the one I've always. Keep trying to convince them of hope. They do this so bad, but I want, so I do sauna and cold plan. I don't know if you've heard of Oh. Gosh, all done it, and so I do plunges. Every single day. It is saying that I. Just Live for I. Joke with my friend because he's always like the guy who I do with. He's his studio He's always like guys getting here. Just jump right out and I the best thing I want. I want them to do this. I. Want to put him in. Speed does I basically want to see? You know if you've done it before. Those is SAS are not about the water being cold. It's about sitting in the uncomfortable and how you handle uncomfortable this now i WanNa know what guys will sit in there and stay in the uncomfortable, or what guys'll jump out I wanNA. 'cause I can stay in. It's built me. A minute is taking me a minute to build that up, but. Does. He Take Willard Chat. That's so funny. That's good that he better laugh it up. TV clear this. You gotta add on an extra layer to that. So when they're in the cold water in the uncomfortable. You have to whoever stays in it. Who chooses to make them share something uncomfortable with you. I liked now. That's really the. Down dirty lava this That's really good. Okay, so I know. This is our podcast, and we usually do the questioning, but while we're here, we're just in this space of sharing advising you know like just lifting each other up Clare. What advice do you not advice book? Is there anything that you want to ask us? Like maybe that's been on your mind. I know we have a sisterhood and we have our own group chat with the Bachelorette's, but maybe there's something that. You. Know it's been on your mind. You WanNa take the chance to ask us. You must actually covered a lot of it. This is more than top to any Prior Bachelet's about kind of doing this season in being new given amazing advice so for me. I am more so actually just WANNA. Thank you for doing that and kind of being here for me because. I think it's an important thing that like you guys this before, and we know that there's only fifteen women or sixty now women it in to have done. This is not real people and the ones that share and the ones that reach out and say this helped me, or this is a piece of advice. I appreciated that and I appreciate that more than anything in the entire world because it's kind of A. Weird space where not a lot of people can understand it relate to it so things. At least you've been reaching out and talking to me and messaging. It's it's kind of lifted me up and maybe feel encourage so. So say thank you for the staff and I'm sure you'll be getting texts being like what about this? That's what we're here for. That's what this is about when you were saying when you were when you were just talking and thank you for saying that. It's our pleasure like this is.

It wasn't idea that started with your season Baco. We didn't have it before, so it was an idea with you. We can make Hannah one, so she has one too, and so she feels included, but we should get it, you know. Pass it on down to Clare, if I I don't remember what I wrote and I hope it's not the same information that the advice about to give you off the top of my head now Clare. Vic. The thing that stands out to me the most is. I I thought. Obviously never been the Bachelorette, but I just thought I had this doubt like I was like. Who I am I got this you know I. Know what I want another type man. I want what I'm looking for. You know I'll meet these guys, but whatever? And I remember the first night which is Clare A I was at the same thing you Becca. This night is so. It's so exciting Clare. You have no I cry talking about the first night because I know that joy the joy, you're gonNA feel getting ready and knowing that how ever many men come they are there for you ride reasons. Rory's forget it. It's your season. You're in charge. They came to be a part of your journey. It is powerful it I it every emotion. It's all of it, but that first night I remember. "It. Has Everything happens for a reason? Right ritual like it has given me the time to sit and go. What is my message like? What is it that I wanNA share with women. My Age women, our age women of any age anybody. What is it that I really WanNa? Share that to let them know that? Yeah this is one of those positions that is very rare to be an I'm so honored to be an head, but more importantly I want to be that women for other people to say and to see that. All got through pretty awful stuff sometimes and sometimes. Other people just from what you see. Whether it be on social media whether it be what you hear publicly. is not always the case, and it's like I. WanNa be able to share my message and it's a message. Frankly I have been. Like I said it's not a lot that I shared with anybody even on any prior show that I've been on. It's nothing that I've shared before an only till recently. Did I share with producers? Saying this is my healing. Journey that I've gone through and how I got to wear them today that if I can do it, literally anybody can do it. Just takes those steps so to kind of plan. I'M GONNA share in how I'm going to share with it. Jared all this stuff with everybody Just maybe to have hope for something that it does get better and things can change. I got say just listening to you right now. I'm getting chills because for the longest time prior to you being announce his about shred I mean in Rachel and I had talked about this like it was getting a little bit hard for me to watch the show, and be able to relate I felt like as I was getting older. The cast was getting younger, and it was just hard like I couldn't necessarily click. I couldn't put myself in that mindset. And so listening to you, and just the self awareness that you have and the like the capacity and the ability, and that drive for growth and striving to be better and still sane hopeful through all of this is just amazing. This is. Ladies and Gentlemen Clare Crawley's Crawley has been picked to be the next bachelor because she. You I don't even want that. You've earned it, but like you had like you deserve this. Watch I guess. Thank you thank you. Thank you, I I just I'm still in shock. I'm going to be honest like I. I'm so hyped about it, but I'm still last week I. Literally was like, is this. Isn't happening but I. Don't as a matter of fact. I sound notes maybe two hours ago, actually when I'll be going down and the final date that I'm leaving, so it's very very. I WanNa ask you details that but I know we can't. After. Love like this little girl secret time. Okay people if you're like me if you are human, you have to admit that he'll love a good netflixing Chilean every now and again and we probably also like ice cream. "Welcome back Bachelor happy our listeners. We hope that you've been doing well and growing throughout this past week, and of course hopefully loving of the recaps that we've been doing well. I can't say we, but what the franchise is doing with the greatest seasons ever I know I have been loving it, but today we have a very exciting episode for all of you and. Rachel. This is probably one of the most requested interviews that we've been asked to do from all of our followers out there and so I am thrilled to announce our next bachelorette Clare Crawley's on the podcast today. And since she was announced as the Bachelorette, you guys have been sending in so many questions so many comments thoughts for her, and so we really wanted to get into some of those with her directly today. Absolutely, Beca you said it so well might have been who was riding in all those requests. That can we have Clare? Have Claire, but I'm excited I know you're excited to have this opportunity to talk to her. I mean Clare's obviously no stranger to the bachelor world, but on these shows you don't really get to see the whole story. You only get to see a glimpse and now we're going to tell Claire Story so I'm excited that we have this conversation in depth conversation with her today and. And hear about her journey to get here house. She got here I've I've just really excited that we get to have this in depth conversation with her today and just learn and hear more about her journey where she's been how she got to where she is today. What she's looking forward to and hoping to get out of this incredible experience that she's about to embark on. Yeah rain. She said it best like when we're watching. Shows and seasons back. It's like you only get a glimpse of somebody's life of who they are. You know each each season. We get a two hour episode on Mondays like you don't really get much more than that than wasn't being portrayed and I have a feeling with Clare talking with her since she's been announced as bad tried and through DMZ messages like there's so much more to her that I really want to get into right now and give the world a little bit more background before we see her on our screens. Because I think that's really important. And so I can't wait to chat with her feel like she has a lot to say. and we've never done this before I. Think where we've had a lead. Prior to their season. Come on, so it's going to be a good time. Yeah, I have nothing to say I. Don't want to wait anymore. Okay Bachelor! Happy our.

Because we have made progress because have made procreate asleep clad didn't have anything any formal education and now she's got fingerprint. Id and she's got a pulse code and maybe at some later date. You may decide that you won't have such a simple pass cut. Maybe you'll have a pass phrase or a word so it's not just numeric. You might have something off America's well let's let's not go crazy 'cause you must think we're Weirdos right. You must think his such a an incumbent. I don't think you're Weirdos at all. I think you are vastly more aware of the implications of all of the things that I am not doing the night whereas I have a bare minimum understanding of the fact that you know the government is stealing all of our data other kind of stuff. I've just kind of sunk into the slop like I don't care which is a terrible quagmire to be in and I realized probably giving my well. I know I'm giving my data to China every time I open TIKTOK. But it's one of those things where it's kind of like you don't even know where to start to do anything so it's just too much ostrich kind of put your head in the sand. It's pretty much and I also descend so bad but it's kind of one of those while. I can't see the implications so I I can't see how it affects me directly. So why should I care so I mean in in the case specifically of your phone and lock in your phone? I guess the concern is that you'll have many APPs on there. You've said that you're active on social media. Someone could take your phone. Could POST IN. Your name could be damaging to your reputation. They could read your emails. They could see private communications. They could steal your photos. There's opportunities for identity theft out there and there are bad people even in Canada not not many not aunt many. There's like one building Div Asti asked. Damn Steve Steve. Steve is also one of our cousins so I hope he listens to this. Okay well I feel. We've done something to help the phone Elizabeth but maybe we need to look at a few other things as well crow. Yeah while we have the phone. Let me just do a few more if you grab your phone if you go to the privacy thing. The Way I do it as I search on the settings. Ones'll gray cog as you went and before settings and then if you just type in location location is under privacy. There's a number of different locations. See that one so we can just see the list of apps that know where you are and if you look at those some of them are GonNa make sense like a map that makes total sense. But maybe my camera yep mine is set to never so. It's a really good point so if you have it on and Graham actually you can confirm if you have your location on your camera. Is it right? That when you forward an image that information can be yes comey stalled in the In in the matter of the picture and people have to incur tout before yes now sometimes when you upload that photograph to a social media site they might strip that information out of the picture but there's always the chance the could forward it or email it or some something else closer. We talking like how specific location. Because I know that sometimes like I'll take a picture and then Oklahoma it'll be like this was taken in. Simcoe like don't give the kind of big town. Area will get more specific than that you have to give. Gps coordinates. Yes I really. Basically within like a tro sight so so it couldn't do that so it could be. It could be incredibly precise. I remember when John McAfee. Who'S ALEXA? How can I explain him Claritin? He's crazy if you think Charlie Sheen had seen so so John. Mcafee is the industry's version of Charlie. Sheen. Going completely. He's insane does a lot of jobs. Yeah yeah that's right and and has been on the run before for investigating murder and so so he was on the run at one point and people posted up a photograph of him somewhere in Guatemala or somewhere unfortunately they included this information inside the image which wasn't visible if you looked at the image but if you have the right tools you could extract from the photograph so you don't you don't want that kind of data normally being included in your photos. I suspect most people have gotten no use for that whatsoever. So that's kind of thing which you want turn off but yeah a lot of APPS will to know your location and it might be that they want know your location because tracking you or maybe they want to give you a more precise advertising or advertise depend on where they think you go. Yes and That's kind of debatable. Whether you really want that right okay. So now let's try contacts all right so under privacy again context under privacy so there you'll have a list of APPS for example. What about your social media sites or any of them listed in this list. Instagram is off the actually. I don't have a lot of social media on here. The only thing I'm surprised by is my bank currently has access to. That's strange. Like my CMO pile. Yeah so I don't know specifically the APP would need access your complexed. Maybe it's in case you want to transfer money to a or something like that and get on Imagine at some point the up my requested access to it may be to make that process easier and it's very possible that I was just kind of like the millennial thing if just being like okay. Fine Fine Fine Fine. Fine Okay okay. Okay this is an interesting one. I think because there are many apps. I mean if you've got well established APPS. Generally they went to this. But sometimes you download games and things like this which will try and take your contacts and then spam them try and promote the game and say. Hey Clare's playing this or class doing this. Why don't you join her? And the risk here is that you're not only potentially endangering your own privacy because you're sharing information with God knows do about who you know you are also exposing the privacy of the people you love and care for your friends so he has an impact on other people to okay to beal. Basically what you're saying is if I download an APP and it asks you know buried in all of the little fine print it says I'll get access to your context than it will just have all their information the way I do. It is if I download an APP. I then you know. Install the APP and then I go and check those things under privacy just to see if the APP is showed up in any of those lists and then I make a kind of my own judgment call because I think a lot of us when we download APPs we just assume the APP is going to download itself safely. And it's going to have the right things turned on but sometimes they're cheeky right and if they can take something from you and you say yeah yeah sure. Sure fine fine. That's what I do now. That might be a pain and it depends how often you download apps. Download them as necessary for example. You know the other day. I decided that I wanted to find out what breed. My cat was so downloaded. An APP called cat scanner. Cat Skin enough skin her manner and you take a picture of your cat and it will just use algorithms to find what breed your cat is so I mean that's so far has not shown up in any is it some kind of facial recognition cats to work out. What this if you to thousand people. Can you imagine? The outrage as nap tried to determine what race a race instagram filters for that? Oh my God she can teach us but a different world Graham to their instagram filters for everything..

"I don't and here's where all of your listeners are going to be like God corral. Who is this woman How are you related to her? I fully cognizant of how bad that is to do like. I'm I'm not night. If I realized that. If somebody were to steal my phone I would be to use. Cheap colloquialisms fucked But I just it just drives me crazy. Yeah so you have an iphone. Yes I have an iphone eight plus Oko so does have touch. Id doesn't it. Yes if we walked you through how to setup fingerprint. Id would you consider it or would that be knowing what would be your concerns? But not doing it. Do you think is does fingerprinting not do I have to do anything other than just open? My own normally no. You would literally like you'd go get your phone and then it would just say. Put Your thumbprint on the little thingamajig. Right right and then your phone then opens magically or your finger or your knows. Maybe you're Graham bit. You could usual news. Yeah okay. Did we not experiment with Claire? Please experiment with you like I am I am. You're you're fun little Guinea pig here cream what do you think? Do you WANNA try. And set her up with fingerprint. Id chilly good idea. Yeah if if you're up for it Clare's let's do it. Okay and then maybe you can set your phone to lock every minute to see how knowing you find it well. She shouldn't be checking phone while she's on the podcast he's can multitask. I checking my phone. I'm on the PODCAST nationally secret. So so what you WANNA do. You are actually what me to walk through this. Yeah Okay and people at home. If you don't have a locking on you can follow at the same time. We haven't rehearsed this. This is on the fly. Haven't so okay. I'll try and do this. I try to do this so clare high into your settings that right. That's the that's the thing which looks like a Cog. Yes right and then scroll down until you see something which hopefully says touch. Id and passcode now. Normally it will ask you at this point for your existing pulse code gain access. But you haven't got a pass code but it does say at a fingerprint right. Okay so so. Click on add a finger but think about which one you WANNA use. Used my My right thumb because people this they might steal your finger. Yes I don't use fingerprint. Id at the moment you know. I use passcode very long. One complicated right. Okay Fair enough. That's the way I will in so you you. Basically it says added fingerprint right and yet sick and it will then lead you through the process. Ask you to touch the little button which have often oppressing. We've one of the instructions I think on. Which can I? For God's sake give me this enormous task without any warning of teaching. Somehow it's a really good job grand right. Thank you so do that. And then after a while until you to adjust your so your hand holding the the fan slightly differently and again you should Finca La La. It's it's it's registering my fingerprint. For sure right. So what what? You will find frustration if you've only registered one finger because off. Well sometimes you might want us the upper hand so you can a few different things but now with that in place you went place. Yeah you can decide well. How quickly will it remind me to press that when I want to look at so you could say well stay unlocked for? I don't know a couple of minutes or something like that but after that just about to access the phone and simple as that and there's okay there's two big reasons I can think of why. This is a good idea if your phone ben is set to lock every five minutes so you do your thing and then as soon as you're not playing with it for five minutes slow that automatically lock you save battery life which is good okay and to as you pointed out if ever you left your phone somewhere with all your stuff in it right like your bank on your phone. Oh Yeah Oh. No one has like full on have a list in my various passwords that I cannot remember. We're GONNA we're going to send out the name of the APP. I can just see you guys but I can just feel your grill. I know we're not I think this is. I think this is actually a brilliant show because I think sometimes we live in our own swamp too much and we don't remember it's like being in the outside was absolutely true because my jaws on the floor and we lose touch with what the typical users alike. Yeah so is it. Set up now on your phone yes it also made me put a pass code in. Oh I think that's because if you turn your phone entirely off and on again I think it says okay to use touch idea gaining future. You're going to need a passcode. You'll probably feeling quite frustrated with us now. Because we've given you some extra we're going to turn off and then forget the pulse coach. Don't worry US literal easiest password so one two three four. No I used a baby okay. Well it shouldn't matter because I use my.

"It's hurting you so as a friend. Maybe we go this direction or There some sort of a resolve to come at the end of it, and so to me I'm like okay. We're bringing up your opinion of me that you're blatantly telling me think poorly of. But anything I have to say in response to it. You have no rebuttal to and then saying that I'm just genuine, so I think there's the issue of her. Share it than there is the issue for Brandon and then suddenly one with me and at the end of the day I. Think if even if I would have walked out the door. I don't know if that would have made. Her decision any easier and you different But again it's not like I was trying to be this mingroa walking in and Oliver. Her relationship of is just like. Hey, this is my journey. This is what I'm here to do. And I they can actually brandon to find love of. Something music and love, and this is my person, and thus far is chosen me every single time publicly that we've seen so I'm just like I can't help you. You and Brandon seem to actually have pretty good chemistry in the house. Why do you feel like the judges didn't think it translated to the stage. I think because first of all the song that we were given was very upbeat. So if you look at all the other performances, there was a lot of these like various life, slow and sultry and very romantic songs than you look at our song. It was more upbeat. It was more rocky fun in so something that Brandon I talked about going into the performance was hey this on actually kind of captures the mood behind our relationship better than anything, because we are fun, loving, outgoing or very like loud people, and we just like to have at the time, and so got actually embodies. Well so going onto that stage, we knew hey, we have to do a really good job of and beyond to be connected on that stage, but it's also really important to us to engage the crowd into page. listeners to as performers, so he and I had to get on the same as before even going up on that stage knowing that. Hey, we've given a challenging song, so let's connect the best that weekend, but also show off the personality. Of Our relationship and that was just like fun. So, I know, that came back in responses from the judges a pay. How do you feel about each other? How this and that? Until you're able to verbalize that, but I think that performance really did capture who we were. As a couple who choose the songs. We weren't given sums. So do you think that possibly certain songs are given to certain couples and certain songs are given to other couples to either propel you forward or make you fail. I think that all the songs gave an were just unique. All of them are love songs that they each had unique twists it up and so part of that challenge. You going onto the show, it's like we know we know that we're going to be challenged. In a Lotta ways in one of those communication with your partner, and then figuring out how to knowing that the judges are judging based on your connectivity and based on your love I think any of the songs had their own set of challenges. Ours looked a little bit differently. actually what the judges said was something we said beforehand of Hey, they might say this. We have to be okay with knowing that. We put it all out there. Will thank you so much coming on Savannah this is actually gave so much clarity to our recap I. Have One more question Ben. You have anything. Yeah, definitely, so Savannah How important is it to have a connection musically a in a romantic relationship? Gosh is. Everything, it's I. Mean it's everything I think if you're not a musician, it's hard to understand, but there there is something that happens whenever you will really connect over your music, whether that is like the same music listening to, but then it's so amplified whenever you're on stage, and you have to perform a because, it's like all of your communication. All of your emotions, all your feelings. Everything door about that person is. Is amplified when they open their mouth, and they sound wonderful, and you see them move and operate in their elements, and when you are kind of in that same environment, and you love it so much. It's like you look at each other in your life. We're really doing this love that I'm doing it with you, and so it's huge. Give us a my final question for you. Before actually finishes you here's. What was it like being this experience? This is the first time ever for this show. You're just explaining how important it is to have that connection, not only musically, but also romantically. In my life may because I'm not a musician. I've never been given the opportunity to connect musically with somebody else. That's what the show is. What was it like? I mean amazing. It really was I. think that listener heart was really such a genius idea that's why I committed to going on to it because it's it's fifty percent music, and it's fifty percent love and. I think it's just electric whenever you can walk into a room I mean locked into this mansion. Right and we don't know anybody and having watched other Bachelorette shows and knowing how it all goes down. It's mostly just relationship relationship and this one was so cool because you're meeting all these amazing musicians, but then you're attracted to them, and then you know that you have the opportunity to go deeper with them through music and so it was like it was passionate. It was amazing. It was electric in A. Everything that went on in that house was one hundred percent genuine like everything that we see everything we experience like really happened all the tears, all the laughter, everything and the fact that we all just are passionate about music and passionate about each other in relationships just improvised. Figure! In the scenes from the next episode we see. Julia and Brandon together looks like they could be rekindling something. Can Ut's anything good? Going to have to watch lots episode for to find out. Because there's a lot, there's a lot you'll definitely have to watch. Okay fine, follow up question. Would you ever see anything with Sheridan? If you guys did swap partners, Oh, my Gosh, listen to your heart, means wife swap. Can you imagine? Gosh shared in an Irish so I. I love him. He and I are very close But. I don't know see I was talking to someone the other day about this Sheridan I actually spent so much time while we were filming..

"Her four, her fifth Worl-. Yeah. It's GonNa be an interesting season. Ashley and there's a lot of pressure to and I think it's one of the reasons why we're both excited for it is it feels like hey, we need to either root for Clare to find somebody, or this is GonNa be. I mean. Is that a sad finish? If she doesn't find somebody through this, it will hurt her heart and our heart so like Matt or not or support the people doing press or not, we I am. I will be in the corner of Hey. Give clear the best possible shot to have the one group of people. If if we just get it for this season that are there for their love story like just give that to her like let's really weed out the people that aren't there or could be there for the right reasons. Give clear a fair shot because that's the reason we're going to be tuning in is to see clear extremely extremely happy in the end why? Why are people reacting? This way to Clare is I mean I think I think there's two reasons one. Matt is relevant right now. We've seen more of Matt Innocence Than We have of clear in years. I, Think Matt. I think clear has kind of been hidden and I also think Claire is known. Her personality is known to be the one that definitely comes down hard on. People during their time on the show I mean she did it with Juan Pablo rightfully so She's done it on Winter Games with I forget his name with his Christian I think his name was at this point like she has been the one for You know to come down hard on people I think people might be going Clare like walk into this being a little kinder. Kinder like you don't have to be the police of this show. You are just the lead here like you don't have to be the police. You don't have to be the one that jumps on everybody for any decision or thing. They say just let's let's get behind you here to find your love story, but don't don't be hostile at the beginning like you don't have to walk into this already. I can see that I can totally see. People are coming from there. I need to close on saying that I. Think it's still. If Matt had made it so obvious that it was for charity. I think people would be able to say like okay. Claire You. Definitely jumped down his throat too soon, but it's obvious based on the social media activity that he did not make it clear that it was for charity, so I'm not sure why people are just. GOING TO SMACK CLARE before raising an eyebrow to Matt. Now I'm with you NYGARD I think I think there is I I'm wondering the same thing and you know especially for Matt's friend to go. Hey, we've never talked about this, you said this is for charity that we're doing together and you've never brought this to my opinion and to say that publicly it feels weird. All I can say is. Let's take a step back. Realize it's the wild west right now. There's a lot of. Not being stuck to. We're all trying to figure it out. But I just. Close, I just don't think Matt James can go on clear season. It just doesn't make sense now at this point unless we just want or doing it just to have. Controversy which doesn't feel healthy at all. Hey, final. Well second to final topic tyler. Cameron says he and Hannah Brown are just starting off as friends and not in a place to date right now. I think the headline speaks for itself anything to add here. I was GONNA. Say Bats it. And lastly, yes, to nick vials podcast just are not sharing rooms at this time. shocker. I guess weird to have this. As, now, a dinner conversation from her family, my family and just an eye. Healthy conversation to have I mean this is something I've never shied away from its. It's when it comes to sex and talking about the boundaries that you know I've set with my with my partner. It's not something on hide, but it's also weird to be talking about so that is true. We. We're excited about this decision. It's been the healthiest decision for us. I think people are a confused about it or going. What in the world's going on here? It's the decision we made that we thought was best for us as a couple to allow us the healthiest relationship and we wanted to do that because we knew that we had something special and we wanted to do. We wanted to do some things personally to make sure that we were. Were setting ourselves up for the most success, and this is one of the decisions we've made, and it's been really good for us. It might not be for everybody. I get it I I'm not seeing should all I know. Is that for just can I It's been healthy, and it's been great, and we're really excited for what the future holds I mean it's worked so far were happily engaged having a great time being engaged Yup that's. "School Bachelorette. Somebody who wasn't around when the press covered the bachelor the way they do these days. A time without Tiktok a time without instagram, how she could be annoyed by the amounts that he is speaking to the press before his season I am somebody who you know. Pretty notorious for taking advantage of every opportunity that comes at me so I can't can't fault him for that. I'm like the Queen of taking advantage of what this franchise is given me taking press ops, but my personal taste. If our position. Seems amount of press that he's done seeing him on cameo. Before his season before coming onto my season, it will leave a bad taste in my mouth, so I get that. She doesn't want her guys doing all this press. Yeah, I mean he's been out there. You don't see that, so this is unprecedented in the sense of. We've never seen a contestant before. Even the show has started airing start to get on the press circuit. Now we also have never had. A scenario where contestants have been announced then there's been a delay. And and they've also had a connection to to the press so easily now I get it like it's crazy to me that all of this happening right now there's really no rules for the shutdown and what's going on with cove nineteen. Here's my concern, Ashley and here's why I think we should take. This is Matt's been out there in the press. He's been talking. He's been sharing things. I've seen the comments. People are saying Oh. Come on, Clare, be nice to him. He's doing it for charity. I've also seen the comments of this is ridiculous. Why is he trying to get fame right now? Both sides okay. We don't even need to say who side were on the truth is this clear has now spoken out against Matt? Berry? Clearly said Hey I'm not okay with. With this I don't like this. It doesn't make sense to me on why you are out there. Doing cameos and press before the season even starts. That shows that you're not here for the right reasons. That is what she has said on her tweet right if that is the case. How can Matt James B. on her season at any level if they already are doing this with?.

"Hot topic of Bachelors Peter Webber. If you've forgotten. Yes, he was your last bachelor. Cheers on girls that still like me after drama with XS Madison in Hannah and Ashley What we've got going on. Okay, so matty put a Tiktok out there tiktok out there that featured. Kelsey Tammy and a couple of the other girls from his season and it was captioned this video. Featuring women who are too good for Peter L.. So. Wow Right. This comes on top of Mattie going on Caitlyn's podcast this week and talking about how? Days before the thing. With Kelly and Peter came out. Peer actually reached out to Matty. And then. Peter fired back and said Mattie. You know that there's more to this story. And, then in addition, there's more shade as far as tacos. Somebody asks in the comments. Section is Kelly in this video. And she said with our ex ll. So the the biggest school by go from Yeah Yeah and the biggest scoop, you get from Caitlyn's podcast. Shameless plug for off the. Is that they Mattie seems the most irritated with Kelly, and not so much Peter Because Peter in her ended, because they just weren't super compatible, but Kelly was her best friend in the house and a girl achieving imagine being a bridesmaid one day in her wedding, and of course, since Peter and in Kelly, have been seen out together since that first viral picture, they have not spoken. I'm really it's this whole like Peter thing right now has intrigued district. It's called us on since the beginning. I don't understand the timelines. Do you get the timelines of how everything has gone down well, that was another part of Caitlyn's park cast. Mattie says that there is some timeline issues that Peter doesn't seem very accurate with when he was on that podcast row week. So basically, he was I feel like there's a big chunk missing, and it seems like Kelly must have been. Part of his life more predominantly than he led on. And so I. Guess from all of you listening to. Valley well. Yeah, I mean Ashley There's a lot of people out there listening a lot of people out there. We know really good at investigating these things. How do we feel about this right, are we? Is this kind of like an Ra situation where we go? Hey, good for them. They're happy. Everybody's moving on or are we sitting back? Going there was some like weird stuff going on. I don't think viewers. We've been able to see the whole picture obviously like more to the story. Or we just all GonNa move on right now I. Don't think we're moving on anytime soon. And I do believe Mattie has something when she says that they must have been talking wall. He was still talking to her pre finale. because don't you remember when Barbara wrote under Kelly's picture and I think it was like the exact day of the Monday night finale, said something like I can't wait till lunch and shop with view, so that alludes to the fact, that Peter must have had something semi romantic, going along with Kelly, before he ended, things with Matt would've risky comment if If it really was kind of like a Oh. I don't realize what I'm doing Kinda here. How much trouble could that have gotten Peter into? If like that comment ever was like legitimize to be something more than what we took it as at the time, which was just like. Hey, they want to connect and still be friends. We don't really know why we don't get it. But like whatever let them do their thing now if it does point to something happening before the finale. That could have really blown up. In the face of everybody. Maybe it's too late to blow up now but I'm, but in my personal view of it all seems like. There must have been something and I think we'll have to talk to Kelly I mean I don't think we'll necessarily get honest answers from the Peter Kelly camp about the timeline of their relationship Peter was on a saying that they deemed a bit, and they ran into each other a bit in la before the finale. But. I really want to know more about the friendship. Break between Maddie and Kelly. It's a story that continues. We don't understand the whole picture because we don't have the full picture, but actually think you fulfilling this then with what we do, have next story. Hey, our next Bachelorette and Bachelor Nation Clare Crawley's. Clare Crawley's slammed. Yes, slammed first shading bachelorette contestant Matt James when I say slammed the the reaction to Clare has not by any means been positive I prepped for this by reading through comments today Ashley why. is she being hated on so much right now? It's very crazy. This is is insane to me. The Fan reaction, but I feel like Matt has been doing enough press that if I were Bachelorette I might possibly be a little irritated as well. I'M GONNA.
