And it's focused on the one lane Macarthur boulevard union arch bridge. That bridge and that portion of Macarthur boulevard is firmly closed, but also and related to this, underneath the aqueduct bridge, the cabin John Parkway is also closed for safety. And that is leading to long delays outbound on the Clara Barton Parkway, drivers are not able to exit onto the cabin John Parkway and are squeezing onto the Macarthur boulevard access road at cabin John instead, a very narrow confined ramp. In addition to but unrelated to this closure, between Glen echo and brookmont, there is a separate closure of Macarthur boulevard for utility damage and repairs between while haunting road and Maryland avenue that stretch and Macarthur boulevard is also close. So there will be some work around on roads that are open like Goldsboro and river road and Massachusetts avenue the longer this goes on. On the interloop of the beltway, it is routine volume delays through Montgomery county, but it is slowest in prince Georgia's county, southbound on the ITER loop through landover at a rate of drive the crash response is blocking the left lane. If you're headed northbound in northwest, a canal road northbound China had passed the chain bridge, unfortunately, you're going to get a little clogged up there. Sounds like all traffic headed northbound on canal road is forced to make that left turn onto the chain bridge to head into Virginia. If you're trying to get to Maryland, you're not going to be able to do that on canal road. So my suggestion, if you're already on canal northbound, make that left turn on to chain bridge, take one 23 northbound, and then access the GW Parkway. That should be able to get you where you're going. Otherwise, if you haven't gotten up to Arizona avenue just yet, make that right turn on Arizona avenue and take that left on Macarthur boulevard if you're trying to get to other parts of northwest. If you're headed southbound on Clara Barton Parkway, you are still able to make your way past the downed tree towards chain bridge, but as emergency crews show up to get rid of the tree, they might end up shutting it down. That speculation for now, but the extra careful through the area. Down in Virginia, 66 eastbound, the war zone is after route 50 towards one 23 on your approach towards not least street, you will have just a single lane getting by through that entire area just be extra careful. It's particularly slow between one 23 and not least street. Westbound 66 single left lane gets you by between route 7 and the beltway, right hand side of the roadway still blocked, and the ramp to northbound four 95 currently closed. You're not going to be able to head northbound on four 95 from 66 west. My suggestion, westbound 66, westbound 7 onto northbound four 95. Northbound three 95 got the work zone on the left hand side of the roadway in the express lanes near edsel road, Carlos Ramirez, WTO traffic. "Parkway canal road, Clara Barton Parkway will be open both ways all day long, but that tends to slow the outbound pace on canal, leaving Georgetown since only one lanes open toward Arizona and the chain bridge. I'm not sure if they have all lanes are open or if it's still a lane block, but it's still very slow and nonetheless on two 95. You go with 95 traffic will be a little heavy near 100 but the lanes are open on the interstate, 50 at the bay bridge could be worse, westbound is great. It's possible those drivers at the front of the line are being guided past in a single file to the left. But for everyone else, a likely diversion getting set up at Glen echo near the old Irish inn on to Macarthur boulevard. There's no flavor. McLaren Barton park weigh this afternoon for the one way traffic pattern. At the bay bridge, it is a holiday weekend. It's the end of a long weekend for some people. And heavy westbound traffic across Kent tile and eastbound even slower from betel drive with only two lanes open eastbound and no two way traffic.
