Then I think we may actually see more of these things because almost like you've got more skin in the game almost right. I think and I think also another thing is that with the gambling people, if they are betting on it and I think maybe you will see some more negative reactions. We see it on social media as well. You remember a few years ago when CJ Anderson was with the Broncos and people were getting on him because he was a fantasy football disappointment because they weren't because he wasn't getting the ball enough and they were still in time with Ronnie hillman. I think there's I think there's something that in the last several years has changed kind of hard to put your finger to point to like one specific cause of it. I think it's a lot of things. He gets 8 touches and every single time you watch him catch the ball or take a hand off. Your entire body clenches up, right? You're like, please don't hit this guy. Please don't get hurt, but the rams sort of operated fearlessly, and you did not see that hesitation from them to get him involved in the game, which I think sent a huge signal out that this really this was about to be real. Well, acres was miked up for that game. You can hear other players talking about his comeback, almost in awe, including his teammate, Johnny hecker, the punter. Congratulations, man. Thanks. With that in mind, Jordan, can you just put this in perspective for us? Have you ever seen a comeback like this and all your time covering the NFL? Not only have I never seen a comeback from an injury of this magnitude, a full Achilles tear in this amount of time, it has never been done before. No NFL player has ever come back from a full Achilles tear and played and not just participated, but actually played and played hard and played well in a football game, 5 and a half months after the initial suffering of the injury. And it really does signal, I think a change in what we know of about these injuries and what we know about this process. And I think when you saw a lot of players from even San Francisco, approaching cam Akers on the sideline, you felt almost this hope coming from them that even if the worst thing that could happen to me happens, it might be okay, ultimately, I might be able to get back. And I think that's what he represents. I think for the rams too, he has just represented such resilience. They've really rallied around the fact that he has done this thing. They know how hard and how difficult it was. And they are using that as their own motivation. He's back. He did this to get back with us. And now we have to keep going and giving it everything we have because we have to keep him out here as much as we can so that he can experience this after he did this thing for us. It's really tough to run the ball in Tampa, but they're going to have to try to at least establish some sort of a running game. And the importance with having cam makers back is, again, you can add that versatility. You can add those layers, very small nuances, very small changes that really have a big ripple effect against an opposing line because they have to adjust every single time if there's a change. Teams have done this against the rams all year in terms of offering an illustrating small nuances and their run game that have really hassled them at times. And a couple of years ago, the rams went on a Super Bowl run after signing a set of quote unquote fresh legs in CJ Anderson, who helped them get to the Super Bowl offering a level of physicality and freshness to their run game that they really, really needed to get them over that final stretch at that time. "Rams, of course, these two teams have met earlier in the season in Arizona went to LA and Nash a 37 20 victory. That's why they have a stranglehold on the NFC west at the moment, but a rams win would make this a much more tight race down the stretch. As we sit here on Monday morning, Cardinals at home, a two and a half point favorite, a total of 51. How are you looking at either the side or total in this game, which Vegas expects to be tight? And there to be, of course, with these two offenses involved some point to put up on the board. Yeah, so our biggest thinks this is going to be a tight game. I feel like the public has been hammering the Cardinals nonstop. I saw it at over 80% in terms of people backing them on the spread. So it's a little troublesome that the line isn't really moving. The cardinals are tend to straight up at 9 three against spread this season, but they are four in ten against the spread in their last 14 games as a home favorite. So keep that in mind for sure. I'm going to stay away from the spread completely. I just honestly don't really like anything about it. And as we know yesterday, favorites were crushing it, the ovaries were also crushing crushing it. And then in terms of the total for this game, the under is going 5 two in one of the rams last 8 games. So I just, I don't really have a lean for either of those two. So I really think you should dabble into the player props for this one. Yeah, I'm with you. I think this is a super tight line. I think it's hard to prognosticate how these two teams will interact now on the football field versus how they interacted 6 7 8 weeks ago whenever that was because there's been so much change in transformation, especially on the ram side. They've lost Robert Woods, lynchpin, and captain for their offense. They've added Odell Beckham junior on offense. They've added von Miller on defense. They've lost their run stuffer and Sebastian Joseph day for this particular game will be without Daryl Henderson and rob havenstein. They're starting to write tackling. They're starting running back to the beginning of the season. I actually think that might benefit the rams because sodium Michelle at this point, I don't know if you remember when CJ Anderson kind of came on late in the season for the rams in 2018 when Todd Gurley was banged up and he was he made the rams almost a more imposing run game, even though Gurley was way more explosive Anderson was just like ripping off four or 5 6 yards at a pop because he was that short stout bowling ball type running back. And I wonder if and that what that encouraged Sean mcvay to do was to get away from 11 personnel and run more 12 personnel add more weight tight ends and offensive lineman to the field. And that made the rams harder to defend for other teams because they turned into a power running football team rather than the flash and dashboard cup Robert Woods, Matt Stafford or Jared Goff lightened up. So this game is really, really hard, even for me as a rams fan who watches every single snap of how Sean mcvay is going to play given the personnel that he has here. So like you, here's what I would do. If you think the cardinals are going to win, just lay the two and a half. If you think the rams are gonna win this game, just take them on the money line. Just stay away from the spread and take them on the money. Because this to me is a true toss up game. I personally think the Cardinals win. I just think the rams are still in the midst of a metamorphosis that they're not quite done with. Maybe if this game was played two or three weeks from now, I'd have more conviction in my team and perhaps it's emotional hedge, but I just think the Cardinals right this second are better equipped to impose their will on the rams than vice versa. As far as the total, I mean, to me, this is you either bet the over or you pass. When the rams and the Cardinals get together, you have two of the top 7 teams in terms of pace. You have a rams team that when they're on the football field, their games average the 5th most combined snaps in the 6th most combined points per game of any team in the NFL. And my stance is kind of this. I'd be so angry with myself if I, you know, tried to outsmart the data and the numbers and the trends and bet the under and the game went over. If I bet the only thing, I feel like with the I feel the same way as you because yesterday I took three under is not one of them hit and you know I hate photos and you know what I mean? And I never do that and the first week that I do, but I will say Arizona and its opponents combine to put up 51 or more points in just three games for Los Angeles was four. And I feel like you made a great point about personnel and the one other thing I wanted to mention is the rams did not win one game in November. And I think that we are putting a lot of hype and emphasis around them to win the Super Bowl because they had all these pieces and maybe in this game they're gonna be able to use all the pieces in the proper way to finally have a dominant win. Yeah. You're losing the good teams, like Green Bay. 100%, you know what I'm talking about. And I think you make a good point about me talking about that metamorphosis. Each week that comes and goes is more practice time for Odell without Robert Williams for von Miller to learn Sean mcvay's system on offensive for von where he morrises on defense. So again, I do think this is a very, very hard game to predict on side until I think the market is very, very tight, like you. I would probably just yield to the prop market, which I think is easier to take advantage of. You said you had some plays in the market. Did you light what sticks out that maybe you have more conviction than cider total? Yeah, one thing I just want to mention before I get into the ones that I do like in terms of some of the props, the rushing props are actually down aside from Kyler Murray and I'm wondering if that's because Chase Edmonds the last time these two met when the rams won or she's doing the cardinals one, 37 to 20..

"Philip rivers went to coach high school football. And it's team kicked ass for nine to nothing. They're going to be good. I got news for you. I i would wanna play steam. But as someone who's the last level of football i played was in high school. So my fondest memories were grown up my france you get to play. High school. football with people grew up with if you lived in the same city for twelve fifteen years. And it's truly special time and my high school coach was a joke. Can you imagine playing for. Philip rivers the impact that he's going to have ever given year fifty sixty seventy young guys and i don't think enough of these guys. And he's the highest end because he's so famous but right down the street from me. Cj anderson who the starting running back for the denver broncos and when they won the super bowl is coaching monta vista high school. And these a bunch of guys. When i worked at fresno state coach the impact. These people have in high school. Football is truly incredible but with the guy with that much wealth and that many options life. Clearly it's not about the money in philip. Always talk like that like. It's this isn't about the money he plays for the love of the game but to me. His actions show like hit cruelly was not bullshitting to go do that. And the impact. He's going to have and how much fun it's gonna be like it just something that it's hard if you google some of the clips of him calling audibles on the sideline of sending in the punt team of him. Just coaching guys practice the pure joy. He has all these kids. I think back in my own life. How impressionable. I wasn't fifteen. Sixteen seventeen years old. These guys bright eyed bushy tails just watching rivers. Run the offense while these kids. They're running passing drill. It just was kind of pure and in a day and age when the league has never made more money and we always talk about. Who's getting the bag and listen. I i'm just as guilty. Always thinking about. Like how can i. What can i do. What money can i make. What investment sometimes you got be real kind of like a piece of shit have impacted and i'm not a dad yet so i don't get to impact anyone and you see something like that. It just it makes you feel good so sometimes negative stuff going on in social media. Everyone's that's bad person. There are a lot of good people out there. And philip rivers got to be high on that list. Okay.

The rams in particular though are a team that has taken guys like cj anderson off the street and made them viable playoff starters. So they didn't need to do this. So what does it say though that they did do this. It tells me that all of the chips tony. Every possible chip is moving to the center of the table. They could not be more all in on this season. They see even an upgrade a minimal one in my mind at running back they see that as important because they're going for the super bowl we just hosted by the way in l. a. Of course this year there are some people say that the rams should have waited to see who got caught. I don't think they should. I think sony michelle is a professional running back and they know him well and let me get the statistics. Correct here because the super bowl a few years ago he carried it eighteen times from ninety four yards and a touchdown against them. And the guy who beats you was always the guy you want and by the way to your point if they have super bowl pretensions here they might want to get a guy who in three playoff games that year had six touchdowns. But sean mcvay is so excited about the brain and the arm of this guy. And i think he has every reason to. I'm just going to be quick on this. And repeated again they already have the number one defense in points and yards allowed. And they just throw it in a terrific quarterback for sean mcveigh. Who knows what to do on offense. I think they're real good. I do so speaking of the difference. That a title entitled contention can make tony world champion bucks in the nba. They awarded their head coach. Booed and halts a three year extension through twenty twenty-five so how should coach bud feel about getting extended after so many had him fired during the playoffs. So i mean. I never really understood the amount of heat that he was going to take. But i'll reference wilpon again because we went back and forth during the playoffs with things rather bleak from milwaukee and he just said he said a number of times on this show milwaukee's stupidest team in the nba and he held boot and holzer personally responsible and said if they don't win the title. This guy should get fired. So let's just look and see what happened okay. How bad a job he did. They were down to against the nets. They came back and they won. They were down to in the finals against young and they came back and they sweat. Phoenix win superstars. I'm told all the time devon booker and chris paul. They swept them in the last four games of the finals. Boot meltzer had to have something to do with this. Yes look in. "Then we go out to Los Angeles and interesting a little bit of clarity surrounding the Rams and Todd Gurley. And you know, listen, we set at the time after the NFC championship game. And certainly with the lack of use in the Super Bowl. Even though there was the great smokescreen at the Todd Gurley was a great get a tremendous work in the Rams and were telling everybody that that he was. That was surrounded at game being a CBS event as we saw it that it's going to get his normal workload he didn't. And now we have a little bit of clarity is a C J Anderson attitude yesterday TASR by basically, saying, no, sir. Uncertain terms that you know, he was brought in Gurley was hurt worse than they initially thought. He was. L, and I've talked about this a lot as you said when this was going on in a poll season what NFC championship the Super Bowl and all this jazz. Girly weren't getting a lot of burn, you know. And I I'm not confused. But it's interesting to me that C J Anderson would say this publicly what a cameras face when you. Show McVeigh wouldn't say this like nobody else's was saying this after the Super Bowl after you've got your rear end kicked by the pats. Nobody was saying this about growing and that for him to say, I have no beef would CJ innocent. I'm just confused. Like, why wouldn't it's more about McVay? Why wouldn't the head coach status or the organization or Todd Todd Gurley? I understand you want to make it look like an excuse. I got from the athletes perspective. I think that's it. But the thing is, you know, this the week going into the Super Bowl the narrative Rams camp was loud and clear. Yeah. That you know, what I'm going with this Todd Gurley was going to run the ball.
