"Wreck global defunding around a thirty five million dollars wrecked has quickly become. One of the largest eastwards operators in the world has been acquiring companies all over. He's for over the last few years on the team side. Wreck is the parent company of Rogue Atop Eastwards Organization best known for its League of Legends Europe team who qualified for worlds this year, they also have good rocket league apex rousers as well. They also have Dr Lupo incredibly Popular Streamer Roster for content creators. In addition to those teams and Lupo wrecked also owns the London Royal Ravens in the call of duty league outside of just those competitive teams though his also acquired green lit content, it content studio, full cube of Fan engagement platform, and fearless media a media agency. Those include musical artists like imagine, dragons, Steve, Aoki's Nicky, Romero as. well as athletes, Rudy Gobert Landon Collins and Taylor Fritz. They also brought on the founder of top dog, the rap group top artists like Kendrick Lamar schoolboy q Jay Rock Ciza, and I was shot personally my favorite label out there. So how'd had to give him a shout-out according to wreck CEO? They are also profitable. One of very few eastwards teams who can say that that's likely thanks to the wide variety of other companies they have under their belt. Investment was a debt capital raise meaning the money more. So alone than it is equity in the company and it came from summit partners. Summit is leaving private equity firm overseeing about twenty one billion dollars in total assets. It'll be interesting to see what rex intentions are with this debt capital raise. If I had to guess I would assume they're gonNA use it to acquire more companies in and around. East sports not necessarily to expand more games they already have a big president quite a few of the top games as it stands right now.

Have drafted articles of impeachment against President Trump? The New York Times. In. Prasada philbrick. On the editorial staff of the opinion section of the New York Times has drafted three articles of impeachment. For the Democrats in the house of representatives to follow. They might as well. What's the difference? The New York Times Nancy Pelosi, they're basically indistinguishable calls for President Trump's impeachment are getting louder there to be as the democrat party drumbeat. What was the other thing getting louder today say, oh, the call for green new deal? That was the headline in the in the Washington Post today that calls growing louder for a new deal in the New York Times calls growing, louder for the impeachment of its, these are just vehicles of the party and the party's wishes and that Washington Post and the New York Times and they, they look like newspapers, but they're not. They have the outward appearance of newspapers, but they most certainly are not calls for President Trump's impeachment are growing louder. I'll just add as I go on in the New York Times newsroom since the release of Robert Muller's report, which exonerated the president of any Russian collusion, which you guys pedaled like conspiracy pimps for two years. And there was no charge of. Obstruction of Justice, but you can make them up as you because you're leftists in your jail, your political enemies, all of the world. Why stop here, White House stonewalling of congressional subpoenas, like the Obama administration with Eric Holder being held in contempt of congress for fusing to show up to talk about fast and furious where he funneled truckloads of arms to Mexican cartels used to murder at least one federal law enforcement officer in the United States. No problem there. That's okay. Honestly, they loved hath more than you love life. They congressional subpoenas, Mr. Muller's first public comments. Almost sixty House Democrats quarter of the caucus have said they would support an impeachment inquiry. I think you guys should do it too. It'd be good politics. I think it'd be good all round for everyone. It would reveal you. And then honestly, let's have these hearings because it'd be hilarious. The Republicans would have a great time bringing up all the stuff that the Democrats want to bury their engaged in a conspiracy to conceal. I think it'd be well, I'd wanna go up and ask questions at the impeachment query, if Democrats do move to impeach Mr. Trump the articles of impeachment drafted against past presidents will provide a guide for them the constitution leaves high crimes and misdemeanors, the term that describes impeachable offenses vague notes the historian, Anthony, excuse me, Timothy, not folly the co writer of a recent book on this is just how do you say master Batori, I think is what it is. This is these are people who couldn't get dates and. High school or in college, and whose wives cheat on them, and, and he's conjured up. This taken Bill Clinton's impeachment template, and crossed out his name, and his writing Trump's name in there really sad. Pathetic people. They live in the past, they so called progressives always looking to drag us backward, really to pre Columbian times at this point. Pre electricity. No indoor plumbing for you, and here, they are the New York Times, what a what a second. Julia. This guy is. And this is this is today's democrat party. The articles of impeachment provided to the Democrats by the New York Times seems kind of redundant, I suppose in the circle fest of democrat media life. There. Where's the line between the democrat caucus on Capitol Hill in the New York Times? Nobody knows it's like how many licks does it take to get the center of nobody knows? No knows I do. I do love it was Marc calling from Chicago less thing. I'm WLS who, who had the great point, and we are a little pinched on time, but he made several points sexually not the least of which is in the state of New York. They recently passed a Bill in the state house Albany, perhaps the most corrupt. There's Springfield Illinois Albany, New York democrat strong halts, the most corrupt capital state capitals in the United States. Washington, of course, are corrupt capital and at New York, they just passed a Bill and Baby Doc signed, it, very enthusiastically, third trimester abortion, vacuum. Their brains out harvest organs train with your friends and because care about life. They're absolutely outraged that in Alabama they. They would have a restrictive abortion, law pro-life law. That would punish the doctors. That would be a legal sanction for the doctors that perform abortions, not for the would-be mother or any of that. But just for the doctors that's the person that would be Prescott. And so, in New York where they wouldn't prosecute a doctor for killing a baby. When at six years old and go into third grade. I if their own kid or anybody else's, they just passed a law yesterday, outlying cat decline, and they have no sense of irony about that. Once again, they don't know what the word irony means why do have to say this every day because they put everyday New York's legislature, passed a Bill Tuesday that would make the state the first in the nation to make it illegal to declaw a cat. What if it's a baby cat? Prompting outrage from conservatives, who pointed sometimes in stark terms to the states, liberal, pro choice laws. I'm not sure that's the way I'd phrase it. They say permit abortion until the moment of birth in some cases. They say the, the, the Bill says that's what they they debated it. And then we had what's her name? Tina Chen was they ice cream on track. Kathy TRAN Kathy TRAN, and Virginia, who also had the Bill and she was asked about it. You can you can right up during delivery, right. During actually during the course of the birthing process, you can abort the baby. This is what the Democrats are proposing around the country, where it's obvious that a woman is about to give birth. She has physical signs of that. She's about to give birth would that still be a point at which she could request an abortion if she was so certified, she's dilating. Yes, yes. My Bill would allow that. Yes. How about decline cats that orig- too far? That's that's too much for your decline cats. What if it's an indoor cat in a Park Avenue apartment with the nine million dollar curtains and couches? But about that. Oh, no. No, no, no. It's illegal. And what do they punish the cat owner? Do they punish the cat? No, they punish the doctor, this is what they're outraged by, in Hollywood. When, when Alabama announced that they would punish the doctor for killing a child during the birthing process and Hollywood. The left on not enough of. Voss became so upset they're going to boycott Alabama which they were never going to visit in their lifetimes, anyway. And now they're they're eras decline. A cat is illegal. Because that's cruel. You see boarding cats. We should ask them then what about I got a cat giving birth as it's giving birth. I'm there with the bullpen hammer. Okay. And as she pops being. But a boom and then another one being, but a boom. How about that? When I was a kid. We had a lot of cats. I think I've told this story, what's before we had, and we had cats and they would give birth all over the place. It was spaying neutering was not real fashionable. And we had a cat given birth in a closet, second floor of our house in cranking out a bunch of kittens, and one of them came out, and it was Ben Hur named at Ben her. It was born and it had two heads. Four front legs one torso to rear legs. True story didn't live. Should've kept it in a jar. I wanted to have the cat lick thing off. So to get up and run around. Charlton Heston, whipping it from behind all this good stuff. Yeah. But now, they're really outraged because declawing cats that's too cruel decline. A cat is already illegal in much of Europe, as well as Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver, but no other US state has voted to ban the procedure. They banning things what they do not want to ban. They want to make mandatory. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitate index. What the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother. And then what? You know, and we decide which you declaw the baby could be illegal. I think want to declaw the baby. I don't want them climate on my curtains. Speaking of liberals, the Washington Post, Liz vaber, it's Weber, but I'm going to go with vaber because she's got her Germanic roots or showing. A special education, teacher gave her autistic student at year end award most annoying. What it was a typical end of year school celebration. The golden corral restaurant in Gary Indiana last month. Parents, teachers and Bailey preparatory academy principal ate lunch while students received awards, but one father fell silent when his fifth grade son, who is autistic received his award. The gold star was given to him by his special education teacher. It read Bailey, preparatory academy two thousand eighteen most annoying mail, according to the times of northwest. Indiana, we were blindsided. We just weren't expecting. It said, Rick Casta, John father of the eleven year old told his cO local newspaper. The father said, no principle, our teacher should let that happen to any student. Well, he's an autistic kid and the teacher who's a special Ed teacher fundamental game. The most annoying word word is that a prob. Is that going to be pro take? That's probably his autistic. If you can learn in the womb, ask any liberal, this. If you learn in the womb that the child was going to be autistic. Would that be risen to abort the child down syndrome already is we are we already know that one down, sir? Oh, yeah. Kill it. That's their plan. So far out, you know, Sephora it's kind of a place. It's a it's a chain of of stars. It's a beauty chain. Sephora closing all US stores for a day for teaching in Klis. Inclusivity training over racial, profiling accusations. This is the standard practice. Now, this happened to Starbucks recently one customer complained that one employee was racially insensitive. And actually, I think she was a rapper she was famous singer. Ciza S, Z A because we're becoming illiterate at the same time singer Ciza testified on Twitter to being racially profile. At a store and Calabasas, California. So they're gonna shut down the whole chain today for a little good old, where they're going to berate them, and flogged them and tell them the racist really only the white people because you're not going to tell the black people they're racist. Don't be so Anna Rundle adjust outside of Washington DC. Anna run old county is voting today to do away with the class valedictorian and salutatorian because those are conferred on students with the top GPA's, and that's discriminatory. So their voting to do away with valedictorians. It's nobody gets a trophy. They've updated. Everybody gets a trophy now. It's nobody gets a trophy. Now they wanna give words to people that, well, you know, forget about your grade point average, what does that have to do with anything at school. You know that's got nothing to do at school. So they want to be based on qualities like character and leadership. Yeah, i-. How's that going to reveal itself? Let's go to let's go to some audio here. If we could let's go to number nine, Mark. Penn, Mark Penn is a DC New York Democrat politico Clinton administration, pollster operative adviser democrat democrat all the way. But I think lately had enough of what he's getting from his party. He was on the Fox News channel this morning. He was talking about Christopher Steele, the author of the so-called dossier. France, fancy French word for Hillary Clinton's position research, and Mark Penn. Again, Clinton east up all of his adult life is raising questions raised questions this morning on the Fox News channel about Christopher Steele. San Christopher Steele is the key to this whole operation. He needs to be brought to the United States in its to be extradited. He said, brought here and he needs to explain who has Russian intelligence sources are whether he was involved in running, an act of. Operation against the Trump campaign and who's behind it. And it really the sources are rather important since the FBI use them to get phony Fiso warrants to spy on the political opponents of the sitting president, no problem, though..

And once again reinforces by stance on politics being feeder for the ugly. I mean, you go back to the twenty sixteen campaign WikiLeaks. It was a same emails that revealed Podesta's funds for spirit cooking rituals. Another so called irreverend passions. It was what was revealed in those very emails that showed what Hillary Clinton was basically showed that she was unfit. Okay. Say with some flavor. Oh, I'm sorry. It's a snake draft the reason quarter you a source close to the situation is logistics timing. So it does sound like, maybe it's the it's the artist maybe the order, so they might be sure. A little time for the Oscars. What What do it? do it? Busy. They might just feel away. What? But you've been nominated for an Oscar. I mean, that's a big deal you it's it's one night. It's not like they're asking you to come in here. And. Fame such weeks. "Okay. So what do I think I think what will actually probably win? And this is my controversial will be branded Carlisle's job. I think it's going to be another vote split. I think I think the eight nominees that were having a top four categories for the first time this year is gonna throw a crazy wrench into things. And I think everyone is going to split Katie is is holding her biting her tongue. I think what should win is childish Gambino. This is America. And that is all I have to say my one piece of implant, and I guess it does move into song of the year. So it's a good transition is that I think that the Brandi Carlile upset. Would more likely come in the song of the year category? So let me go ahead and list, those nominee is now we have. Brandi Carlile the joke. We have all the stars by Kendrick Lamar and Ciza. This is of course, a songwriting award. So all of these songwriters are listed. But I'm going to just go ahead and list, the titles and artists here a boot up by LA. God's plan by Drake in my blood by Shawn Mendez, the middle by Zad Merrin Morris and grey shallow by lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. And once again, this is America by childish Gambino. So Keith talking about that one. Okay. So again, this is kind of like record of the year for me. I think it's basically I'm saying that I think this is America should win this, and I think Brandi Carlile will probably end up winning it because another thing, but I can see how the record in the song of your categories flip around because Randy Carlyle could him win song of the year because more of a songwriter category. Whereas the record of the year is more about the. Section of the song. But I think what this is America is and what it stood hor. And what it meant was such a moment. Where will they recognize it? I'm not quite sure. So I think should this is America will the joke. So I agree with a lot of those sentiments, I actually think this is America is very likely to win this category. I think that the message of the song is the important piece of it. And that is the songwriting award. I also really liked God's plan in this category. Just I think it's should I don't think it will ever. But I think it's like some of Drake's most playful fund lyrics, and that's once again songwriting, and it's a really fun song. And it's got his like catchy as most sing along Abol line in the USA or US. You love me. I tell you only partly I only love my bed and my mama. I'm sorry bus line like of the entire year. So God's plan. My last note is that probably Brian Carlisle will win after all that side. All right. So we both think Brandi Carlile was gonna win this category. Yeah. Okay. It could be a brand new Carlisle kind of night. Oh, yes, it good. And people I fully I'm looking for the Twitter frenzy storm to ensue Justice for Cardi. Hashtag. What about Drake hashtag audio Grammy's?.

"Hopefully, maybe TVD. Okay. Let's review who we think should win and maybe probably will win in the top four categories album of the year record of the year song of the year and best new artist. All right. We'll start with the big guy album of the year. We already mentioned that our guest. Casey moss graves is nominated for golden hour. She is nominated along with Cardi B's invasion of privacy. Brandy Carlisle's, by the way, I forgive you, Drake. Scorpion. Hers her post Malone's gearbox Bentley's denominators, dirty computer and the Black Panther album, which was executive produced by Kendrick Lamar Keith who do you think should win and will win. All right. I'm going to limit ourselves to thirty seconds apiece. Oh my goodness. Do you actually have like a thought out because I have a tendency to ramble much? So I'm starting now. Okay. So I think who will win I think this is going to be a vote split. I think all the hip hop. Up and pop stuff is going to split. And I think we're going to be left with brandy Carlisle, Casey muss graves. So I think one of those two will probably will win this. It will probably cause an uproar. But so be it. I think who should win. I think actually case must grays probably should have been. I think me and that is under thirty seconds. Well, and we have a lot of the same things to say, I'm pretty I pretty sure that brandy is going to win this. But I also think Casey shed. So basically, we have the exact same thought. Yeah. All of these albums are very deserving genome as I think is possible, she's a real Grammy. Favourite? So I think she will probably grab a lot of votes. Maybe win. I would say that Janelle might be the most likely out of the crew of our MB hip hop, and you're stopping now. And I'm done you're done, I'm done. So let's move on to the record of the year. So as move onto record of year. Here are the nominees. I like it by Cardi B bad bunny. Nj Alvin the Jope by Brandi Carlile. This is America by childish Gambino. God's plan by Drake. Shallow by lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, all the stars by Kendrick Lamar and Ciza rockstar by post Malone, featuring Twenty-one savage and the middle by Zad Merrin Morris and grey, Katie who should win and who will win go going to be very quick on this one because it's the same. I think that I like it by Cardi B bad bunny Jabe Alvin should and will win really go. World. We also second. So why do you think it was just the record of the year for I think it is such a fun song? And it crosses so many genres. And it is like when it comes to record of the years the best recording. This is the best recording in my mind. Best radio hit song of the year while all right? Stop. And I was twenty seven seconds. I know people you're probably gonna annoyed by this. But it keeps me on my toes..

You know, keep it a little research actually about, you know, previous Oscar performers, and so it's not unprecedented to not have all five nominees performing. Yeah. But it's unusual. Yes. It's it's usually kind of extrordinary circumstances where they invite only a certain number of the five nominees or the nominees for best song to perform. And it just kind of smacks of sorry. Like, there's probably like Burger King advertisement like restaurants somewhere in there. We can make viral video out of dad reacts to seeing new fortnight for the first. Well, look at all it's. Okay. So reviewing glass this leak real interesting movie as of right now, I don't really have score. I don't know where to land on it and probably gonna cop out put a score that change. It's also the first official score to give out in the pot of twenty nineteen. That's monumental for us. This is turning a new leaf, but we do have next week the two thousand nineteen top ten or two thousand eighteen top ten the week after that to eighteen bottom. Ten and then we officially move on until we do the gospels in until we do the Oscar. So we really don't officially move on till March, but we are onto seeing new movies from the your twenty nineteen there's like six movies out in January's wild. But that all starts the culmination all starts with this. And that is the Oscar nominations don't want to spend too much time because you could talk about this for a while. We'll run through a grouping of categories note for okay with it. Or if there's a snub don't spend too much time. The Oscar nominations it come out this past Sunday. We'll start out with song. Detrimental song all the stars from Black Panther Ciza ampules pronounce the end Kendrick Lamar very popular song. Very good song. I'll fight from RV g the Ruth Bader Ginsburg movie, not the on the basis of sex one the place where lost things go from Mary. Poppins return? Shallow from stars born. Then when a cowboy traits of Spurs for wings from the bout of BUSTER Scruggs, I'll start off one shallows gonna win. This isn't even close to out. The fuck that BUSTER Scruggs song got nominated and three all three popular songs from spider verse totally snuffed completely whether it be sunflower by post Malone home by Vince, Staples. Or what's the other one? What's up danger? Yeah. By black way with black caviar those three songs. Mean they're better than I think three of the songs category. But specially the BUSTER Scruggs stung that was a joke that stunk it's shallows category. Anyway, so. I think they should've nominated something from ready player one. What's on fan hail? Unoriginal song or or the back to the future mystery flourish, which they heirachy in future, man. Oh, yeah. Six second song. We'll member last year. We did say that fuck what do we say? Dave Matthews should've won last year for best regional saw. Yeah. Settled crash not satellite. Yeah. Most uncultured kids. Oh, what what was that today that one question the nineties music that PF got wrong did not get? I got five on it. Yeah. Didn't get that. And he also didn't know the third member of salt and pepper truly it. Salt pepper and. Ho god. It's the DJ. Word for word what the F T said. No here. Like lady spends a lot or something you're close, so close digits been derail Spinderella. That's right is. Lady spencer. Ladies. Oh, oh, my lady spends a lot in my right. Anything from here beside shallows gonna win. I think that other movie was snubbed spider verse that's probably the one lock out. But on the Oscars right now. Like, if I bet all my money would be on shallow. Yeah. There's not many lots. We'll get them. It's gonna be very interesting Oscars to gamble on. If you bet on the Oscars. Very interesting. Okay. We'll just move on. Then I think we can agree there. Let's go to screenplay. We'll do adapted in original in the same in the same breath here. So for screenplay original, we have the favorite I or formed green book Roma in vice and for a Daf that we have the ballot of BUSTER Scruggs, which I didn't even know adapted like the odds makers on goal, derby dot com, headed under.

"Be back. You'll you'll play one more time at least with us. Oh, yeah. I wanted to be on a livestream. So I can react to like all the new things that they put in the game.

"So if you're listening to this on Tuesday today day the nominations were announced for the twenty nineteen Oscar up early listening or watching game. No, I was not. I set my alarm, and I was actually up before it, and then I fell back asleep right before they start and I woke up like half hour. I missed it live version of it. I did watch the stream on YouTube. Oh, very nice announcements was on Camille, non Johnny and Ross resales Roth announced they did a great job. We'll they're great people. So great people can also do terrible at this sort of thing. Sorry, Tiffany haddish. You know, I try the pair of them this morning. I wondered how much of it was scripted because it seemed very off the cuff, but I wondered in a situation like this. I wondered if it just seemed off the cuff, and it was completely scripted there. And there that just that good. They're just that go, right? It's probably a combination of the tail kind of like our show. Oh, well, we are not EMMY and Academy Award winning slash nominated. Ramya coming for you. Well with those ninety first kademi award nominations. We learned that a star is born with a star is born a star. A star was among the leaders with eight nods including lady Gaga for best. Actress badly Cooper for best actor Sam Elliott for supporting actor who did not get the globe nomination. So that was zoos Cooper for best adapted screenplay as well as best cinematography cinematography and sound mixing nominations. And he also got a director nomination plus best picture plus original score for shallow nominated for director. He wasn't Cooper was not nominated for his. Oh, I see what you're saying. Never mind. I had a I had a not so fun tidbit in front of me, you were reading this all well, you just suddenly decided to. I thought that director was part of it. But sorry, Bradley didn't mean to rub it in any any further. That would be a surprise this morning. Not not exclusively pop shop podcast. No, just joking. This did not happen. Among the other leaders were Roma from Alphonso Koran and the costume drama the favorites both of which got ten nominations each followed by the Dick Cheney biographical film. Vice and other multiple nominees included by panther with seven. Let's see spike. Lee's black clansmen with seven black Black Panther with seven again because my intra was a hot mess and the Queen bio-pic bohemian rhapsody with five black rhapsody. Yeah. Just let me just add it all together the rhapsody clan. But not before we get like super into it. I figured the biggest category that we care about is the best original songs. I thought sorry shown. Yes. For the pop shop podcast we care about best original song. So I already mentioned shallow which is Gaga in Cooper's due out from stars born and it was written by Gaga Mark Ronson anthem. Bureaus amano. Andrew Wyatt is up for us ridgeville song as well. As all the stars from Kendrick Lamar and Ciza, of course off the Black Panther soundtrack. That was written by Hendrik L shocks show sound wave Ciza and Anthony Tippet, then we have Diane Warren's I'll fight for Rb g which was performer Jennifer Hudson. And then we have the place where lost things go for Mary Poppins returns sung by Emily blunt, and David Rawlings, and Jillian welches win a cowboy trades. His spurts for wings from the ballot of BUSTER Scruggs, which was performed by. Tim Blake Nelson and Willie Watson question. Yes. For all the stars. Could you get the nominated writers from the academy press release? I got it from billboard dot com. Do we have it wrong or something I'm confused because we have Kendrick Lamar and then Al shocks who is not listed on the academy nomination list. Somebody that's that's a codename and then sound wave Ciza and Anthony to fifth so that's one two three four five different people. But the academy has Marc spears Kendrick Anthony to fifth and Salona row, which has syzza right. So there's someone one of those scrap and see there. Yeah. So I I mean, I think part of this. So I don't we're just authors has ruled about how many people though credit, right?.

"Include marvel studios presenting Black Panther, including all the stars performed by Kendrick Lamar featuring Ciza written by Kendrick Duckworth. Anthony Davis Mark Speir Salata row and Al shock. Berg, just when you thought you were done with twenty eighteen we drag you back in, but it won't hurt this week. A review of all the best news from the past year. Wait, wait style. Plus never before heard segments in games and a visit from lavar Burton tells us the engines just can't take it anymore. Peter Saco, join us for the news quiz from NPR tomorrow morning at eleven ninety three point nine FM WNYC. You're listening to marketplace on WNYC coming up next. It's all things considered with the latest on the L train day, fourteen of the government shutdown and some good news on crime in Newark, that's at seven o'clock right here on WNYC. This is marketplace, I'm KAI Ryssdal. Select here is the thing about kids one of the things. Anyway, they gotta get places, and then they got to get home from those places and things are just different in this economy than they used to be it's different for parents working. It's different around the whole idea of latchkey kids. It's also different by the way in the age of Uber. Rebecca, how wrote for wired about the industry being built around getting kids around thanks for being here. Hi, thanks for having me you. I'm will. Thank you. I'm well. So look let me ask you first of all. And this might seem a a really boneheaded question. But why can't Uber? Just be Uber for kids. What do you need a special company or a special apt to be Uber for kids if you know what I mean? Yeah. Sure. Well, right now over according to its terms and services agreement does not want unaccompanied minors on its service. It says the minimum age to ride is eighteen so technically, you're not allowed and Uber drivers. Aren't equipped to were prepared to be taken care of children. So these companies have served stepped in to do that. What is then the differentiator for these companies because there are a bunch of them out there. Most of them are based in California as it happens. But what's what I guess what are the services they offer? So unlike Uber or lift you typically would order the night before what they offer essentially are drivers who are extremely background check or interviewed have their cars expected. They're driving records are looked at. And most of them have a significant amount of childcare experience. Sure, just Annette scheduling thing. So so the deal is that I can't say put a hop. Skip drive, which is one of these companies on my fourteen year olds phone, and then when he gets out of soccer practice, he can just dial one up, right? That's not the way it works. Not typically the idea is that your child would know when soccer practice ends each Thursday or Tuesday. And do you also the parents would want time to make sure that they're comfortable with the dry? Ever. You would get sent the driver info the day before. So you'd have that information to make sure you're comfortable. So it's not as on demand as sort of lift is, but it's sort of has the ease of being able to track the ride, and you have the optimization sort of benefit of only needing it. When you need it. You don't need to hire. A babysitter for the entire afternoon. Just because you're you have two kids that need to get from point A to point B look. So let's cut to the chase here. How much all this gonna cost me? Right. Because I cannot imagine that pre scheduling all these things. Now, having a safety check driver and inspected car, it's not gonna be cheap. Right. Yeah. It's certainly a bit more expensive than something like an Uber or a lift ride resume, for instance. One of the services says that they're right start sixteen dollars and then at six dollars for every fifteen minute increment, but you can also sort of buy in bulk in the sense that if you always know your kids going to need soccer practice pickup. See you can sort of buy that in advance for the month. Is there one of these that is going to win out in this competition? Because as you lay out in this article there have been at least at least a couple several even that have failed. Right. I think it'll be interesting to sort of look forward in the future is how they kind of expand the relationships with the schools, and I think that might that might come into play. And then another thing to sort of look out for as well as how whether they tried to expand in terms of older Americans as well who also need help getting around and could really use a service like this as well. So I think which companies that are comes out on top would overly depend on that. But these ones I think zoom Kengo and hop skip driver doing pretty well right now, Rebecca how while writing for wired.
