"In Florida I almost had to put Jack and all the days for sale. All right, all right. Well, we're jealous up here in the natty because it wasn't enough to win the Stanley Cup for the second time here in 2020 with the Tampa Bay Lightning. And now Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wow, that town has to be jumping. Well, it really one of, um You know if Come Brady quarterback in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the Super Bowl championship. But if I had predicted that a year ago you were going, Joe, What do you smoking? But You know, he came here because the bucks were on the precipice. Had the weapons. Had the coach, they had the right Mix of of how to go about it. And anybody that took The thought it would take him no time at all to mix together into a championship formula. That wasn't realistic. The interruption down That man make up better by the year went along is I was not surprised that dominated the Chiefs. To be honest with you. Well, it was quite a performance. Really? That defense was just unbelievable. And Brady and his weapons fantastic and wow, what a party on the Hillsborough River. Wow! Party and a gosh, the boat parade. It looked. It looked incredible. And where were you during the boat parade? I was back and I say for both, and at my house, all right? You know, they're actually kind of give the credit to the Tampa Bay Lightning the hockey team for starting the boat parade concept because that's what they did after they won the Stanley Cup. Everybody went. Wow, That's pretty cool and So the bucks copy death and it was tremendous and I do wish folks have one more math. If they did this, so I have no family, the wrong but, uh You know, hamper right there is the city of Champions Deal with that's right. Deal with it. No doubt the Gasparilla Festival. You know what postponed or canceled? So this kind of made up for it, didn't it, Joe? Well, yeah, I mean, You know, the Gasparilla Festival will be later on here. Work of it will be that here comes with Tampa. That's what we do. But the big question became what we Due to celebrate these championship seasons. And you know if you come to Tampa Um, fine. Real river walk downtown. Sorry, San Antonio. We got to be Yeah, it's It's really an incredible experience. So, but lawmakers here came along with the idea that I let's make it on the river. Let's make it have it be the river walk. It was unique. Incredible. I'm sure you saw the video Brady passing Go party, Kofi. Yes, you know. But you know, Brady didn't throwing complete sensory perception, so they, uh they're wasps. So, Yeah, it's a great time to be in Tampa. It's a great time every day. I do love Cincinnati. Don't get me wrong. You know, I love my roots, my hope down. Uh, yeah, It's great. Have to be down here right now. Well when I remember being at the Super Bowl, where the Baltimore Ravens defeated the New York football Giants had an absolutely great week in conjunction with the Gasparilla Festival, where everybody dresses up like a pirate. And it is a man a party like Party like it's 1999 man in Yeah, not to steal green based under But like you mentioned Man City, a champion's little title town. Wow. Yeah. I mean, you know them. Tampa kind of history trifecta here. Um, don't forget the Rays went to the World Series. Uh, so Maybe maybe it was Carmen. Maybe we're lucky. Maybe whatever. But People here are feeling pretty good right now. And they should be because You. Uh, betweens. Did what? What the community needed them to do. Yeah. Yeah, We're all excited about that. We're happy about that. Her Brady tests come to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Come on, man. Unbelievable, wasn't it? Yeah. Who could have seen that? I'm just saying, I know just just incredible. Now back in 2007. I'm in Miami with with the Bangles final game of the season. It was the final day that the Cincinnati Post published in Kevin, Go Heen hit the button, and we just kind of celebrated sending in the last story. For the Cincinnati purse, but a guy in the press box Ah, security guy. We were talking to him. And he said Why did Major League Baseball put the Tampa Raise in the American League when everybody on the East Coast the United States Boston, New York. Where do they go for vacation? They go to the Atlantic side. Coca on down. Where does everybody in the Midwest go on vacation. They go to the Gulf side. Tampa on down to Naples. I just wish Tampa was in the National League and the Miami Marlins were in the American League and Attendance for both teams would improve, especially for Miami. Well trick. I'm gonna tell you a story, and this is true because I took the phone call. Before the night. That they chose What league Tampa Bay would be in. Yes, sir. It was widely assumed that they would be in the American lady. Vincent, only the original owner of the Tampa Bay then you have race. Hold me up, and I've I want to stress. I was not a sports reporter at that point I was you know doing I was in his guy Vegas. Till you're Goes forward to be around. That this offer I can choose what I want. Should I choose to be in the National League and then? Oh, my God! Are you crazy? You got Cincinnati? You've got Atlanta. You you've got o my God choose it. You've got all these Midwestern folks in Florida. And Vince's argument was well, We told people we would communicate our, you know, compete. Excuse me with the Yankees and the Red Sox. We want to do that. Well, then, don't do it. Don't do it used to being in the national ink Well, Gooden. Wow..

"755 homers. Uh, 86 years old passed away. Did not hear it calls but he was 86. I'm not. But A great ballplayer from one of what? I understand A class guy Exactly off the field. Always heard great things about all Hammerin Hank and the stuff that that crap that that guy where Yes, he did. Think about that when he was chasing that record kept going. Didn't let it bother him. Fielding? Yeah. Let's talk to Richard Skinner about a local 12 skinny your your thoughts on Hank Aaron. You heard us talking there. That guy from everything I've read, man. He went through some hell there as he was chasing that baby record. Yeah. Call you mind if the Cincinnati Post the late Lonnie Wheeler, who was a columnist deposed in the 19 nineties? Yes. You wrote arguing the definitive Henry of biography and anybody with Hank. Um Sorry, aesthetically autobiography. But he talked about how he was very complicated, but certainly extraordinary, gracious. Especially having known some of the stuff he had to go through and put up with, um I can remember reading a book about about him chasing. In fact, it actually took him through the year we got 7 13. It was another early book of About Hank here and just the stuff he was facing. Even that years kind of approach Hank ever approached Babe Ruth's record on but it's just It's so hard to believe that, you know, die for achieving something that he did. Um, it was really vilified by a chunk of the American segment. It just It just sounds so foreign. I guess it shouldn't be. But it did just does to me that he was vilified for for, you know, just simply breaking a record and doing what he was asked to do, and Just from a playing standpoint, I did. The one thing is never one to disable listeners career played into his forties played hurt. Um, it's funny. The all time home run later never had a 50 home runs season, which speaks to his level of consistency at numerous four year old run season. I'm so it wasn't like there were a couple of outline for years on D had to me and I will say this. He's always gonna be the home run champion. I'm so no, I'm not I I recognize Barry Bonds in that regard this side 53 head. I just don't I read something, I guess. From his point of view, Hank's the one. The things he's most proud of is. He never had 100 strikeouts season and also have what 3300 something hits and people don't talk about that they use up there in the in the all time hits list. Yeah, He was a pure hitter. That's that's just That's incredible. I mean it most power hitters, especially today at the day, even on power hidden going on every team in baseball. They got 78. That's trekking out 100 thousands of years and he never did it. He just had natural power and just just took a normal swing at it. It's funny. I mean, he actually hit crossing and I believe up to a point where he was in the minors and might have been right. Even when you still playing Negro League baseball. They got him out of batting switch switch crossing it. And can you imagine somebody doing that Unbelievable. Yes, he did it cross and think about that. Sometimes that would be weird man. I'm just sitting here trying to do it myself. That doesn't even make sense. I couldn't even know what a Wiffle ball bat. I don't think Right? God, I wonder just I guess he never had instruction when he was little of how to hit a and what you gonna do? The guys knocking the ball over the place? So why change it? Every 100 hits, you might want to hold your hands a little bit. Oh, okay. 14 for five Last 20 games. Exactly Exactly So, so skinny. I didn't get a chance to Watch him, But anything else stand out about him is a player's. You were watching just things that kind of really separated him. Besides just the records and things like that. Yeah, I just started playing with just that Grace. Um, you know, there was a lot done full. There's he approached the record. I was a kid. I remember my dad was a big Dodger fan. He grew up in Brooklyn. So Even though we lived in Cincinnati and around we moved a little bit came back to Cincinnati. Uh, my dad was still always a Dodger fan. So I can remember watching was that that was, uh If you will. Monday night Baseball games back in the days when you were lucky to have a game of two on a week, and that Dodgers braves game was a special broadcast of Hank had a chance to break break the record and watching that live there. You did. It gave me goose bumps to watch it. I remember I was just a little guy and There's a lot of carnival shit to hit 7 14 years. Cincinnati. I mean, hit it the day after, Remember those that was a dancer. The great Tornado outbreak. So the awful tornado outbreak in the first game. You guys talking about 4 30. Marty confides down and a whole lot more. Um and then, but that after the home run, they decided initially they were gonna shut him down for the next couple of days. 11 trying to break the record at home, and they booed him suck. It got in and said. No, you're going to play him and he ends up the man's ready. Matthews, there's a former teammate is with the with the old Milwaukee Braves sitting on the manager. I'm gonna sit in, eh, So he set him against Tom going. Then they decided to claim in the last game of the series against Clay Kirby and We went over three and got a chance to go back to Atlanta to break the record, So there's some confidence. You don't think he's you know, he hit the home run in the first part of the game first about of 1974 season to tie the record and could have broken in here and they wanted to break it at home and see what happens. That's what it is taking place. And Marty was that was that was Marty's first. Yeah. I mean, I'm sure you've done this free trade about stuff like that, right? E wanna ask Marty when we talk to him? How many minutes? Were you on the air? When you made that call because it could have been many. No, I think I think if I'm not mistaken, either his third or fourth in line, I would think force that's about where he was hitting them. So forth from the lineup of the first inning of opening game that long. I mean, not long ago. Well, welcome to the big leagues, Son you go. There you go. So to a Swiss gear skinny. Let's talk some of the NFL games this weekend. I think obviously, the big one is the bills. Kansas City game. Looks like patch from Holmes is going to play. I mean, there's a shocker. Yeah, exactly. They had any chance of not happening. But what do you see? And what do you like it in that one? We were not like buffalo, and I don't want to be a contrarian and just say because of that we just biggest It seems like if they need to win your shootout. We're gonna win. You shoot out. If they need to stop, you will stop if they need T throw it 30 times in a row like they did the other night. But don't throw it 30 Times in a row and Kansas City while Patrick Holmes is certainly other world wait. This year. It just seemed like they haven't put people completely away. They had a great chance on Sunday up 19 to 3. Thank you Make your toes in the section. At the very least, they should have gotten a field go out of it, said Butter. It's the upright. You know, then been back comes Cleveland all the sudden you looked up back to Cleveland, Popsicle homes sold and James, the city's all out to win..

"Two minutes and 35 seconds. Nine plays 75 yards toe pull within 24 to 14. The Bengals needed a boost and they got it when Brandon Wilson goes 49 yards to Tennessee's 44 yard line on the kickoff return and man that set up the Bangles for a drive that they scored again on Yeah, it was It was. The timing of it was really good in that every time I felt the Titans were looking like they could get back into the game. Someone made a play on the Bengals that prevented that, and that's when we were having. Oh, Here we go again. Moments They prevented that this this game and so they never gave Tennessee a chance. They're kept him off balance and again, the execution part people made plays. When they needed to make those place And that's the key. They kept breaking the Tennessee Titans back every time they thought they were getting back, getting on a roll, getting a rhythm. Biggles make a play in the delivery of the game. All right. I appreciate the call. Thank you very much. Wow. Wilmington. What? What memories of going back to Wilmington, Ohio, for training camp. Who? You know, I spent a calendar year if you add up. Yes, all the times for my nine years. I spent the calendar year of my life in Wilmington, Ohio. I covered the Bengals for 12 years, my first year. That summer was in Georgetown, Kentucky, 12 summers at least a month. So you're Wilmington and I'm Georgetown. It was the same Tell you some grow memories and woman to know when I first started. There was no air condition in the dorms. And then as my career progressed, we would bring portable air conditions. Then eventually they had air conditioning. I could I compare Training camp, then to training camp. Now it was like military boot camp then, and it's like a country club. Now they don't even go anywhere. That's exactly right. Oh, man thinking only hit, they can only practice a certain amount of time. So when he said Jess Phillips, it's just a memory. Came rushing back from, you know Bruce Coslet. Talking about Jess Phillips when they're walking out to practice at Wilmington. For morning practice. They touched the hood of Jessie's car and it was warm. So I was just getting in was just getting back from an all nighter. Oh, man, awesome floor. Was he going to go to have the whole point? Where did you go in woman's own butt back? There sits an idea. "You code not sure you would clients have a good day. Get inside. Ah Ryan talking about bad neighbors. What do you have A fella love the show. Last home. I lived and I had a crazy neighbor. All the rock her off the meds something or just plain crazy cops were there, you know, multiple times a week. Cops came to my house. One time told me that she had called the cops on the 30 times that month. Obviously, they'd never came because they knew she was a little bit crazy. But clearly a neighbor that got me started collecting guns, which was recommended by the police. Well, long story short lots of instances. I put my house up for sale. The day after that, I drive by the house and in the bay window in big letters and eight by 11 sheets with one letter on each sheet and big, bold letters. It says I have herpes. I'll never see you trying to tell the people looking at my house not to buy it. But thank God we sold it in a day. I don't know that. That's Ah Nu is a house deterrent. Exactly Eso. Eso Ryan. Once you've moved out, obviously, you just got the hell out of there. And that was that. Yeah, that That's a new person's problem now not checking in. Yeah, when I Lived in Oakley there, you know, this house is pretty close together and stuff, and there was We're really cool people on one side of me and these people were very nice on the other side of me, but they were really old, and unfortunately the lady was getting kind of dimension and right and the guy wasn't much better. So this is when they still delivered the paper. And I got used to get both the morning pay. Why got the morning paper at work and then Cincinnati post they would deliver in the evening. The end, so There were it started to be not showed up, Maybe like twice a week. So I'm thinking, okay. Maybe just a replacement delivery guy or some? Yeah, So right. So the next, So I wait until the next week. Same thing. And So I finally called him and I go. Hey, what am I going to get the paper like twice a week, and the person's like on only showing here that you're getting every day and I was like, Well, I'm not throwing in the bushes someplace and I'm not seeing it Is there on my roof? What's going on? They're well, We'll just, you know, Make sure that you know the guy is Double check in yet and I was like, Okay, so it was like, two days later, and I'm in my backyard, doing some yard work in. Why not? And I see the guy threw the paper in my driveway. So I'm like, Okay, Cool Marinos and right. And as I'm saying, they're weed or whatever I was doing my glance up. And here's that little old lady next door scurrying out of her and her housecoat just here, picking up my paper and running back into her house. I love this. He like really do real quick instead of like, Well, just she could scurry like 85 just grabs it and goes back into her house. And I had I called the post of eggs that I figured out the problem. Why did you start like having the guy throw it on my porch someplace farther away the end of my driveway because I told him the problem. Yeah, we'll, We'll figure it out. But I was going to say a big tour. God bless her art. Thank you. Thought it was her publicity woman. Give up the papers. Now I want my coupons day, have you What? What? What? What do you got, Rob? "With High school football coach at ST Xavier. Steve Spec. Trouble is author please. And and the Don Shula NFL coach of the year, but not not? Yeah. What year was that? Steve? Back in the stone age, my friend. Well, hey, you still it still needs something like a bronze like Chapo or what do you get for that? One? Cool. So I'm gonna French. By the way, I'm gonna give you my best 30 to 45 seconds. So people understand this. So basically the Ohio playoffs every year prior to this one. There's a rating system. It's a computer system kind of like the BCS is used in college football's called the Harbin computer system, and each region, which in South was the Ohio Division one. The largest school division is region for so they divide to staying up into four regions. And typically, the top eight teams based on the computer rating system qualified for the playoffs this year, primarily because of covert 19. They basically the first time in Ohio High School Athletic Association history. Every school that wanted to participate was allowed in after a six game regular season wraps up this week. It's normally 10 games. So what they did this year is they had coaches. Coaches vote so in region for their 16 teams, So I don't know why they didn't go 1 to 16. But if you wanted if you wanted to vote the team, the number one seed you gave them a 16 in descending order down the one So Lakota West, unbeaten for No. They didn't play last week, and Princeton number two seed and then Saint Xavier, number three seed Insane excess three into They want the GCL South championship outright. The only two losses were to Indianapolis area teams, one in the cathedral, which is ranked number one in the state. Nationally ranked Hell of a program. They lost that game by three. And then they lost in overtime on national TV to Brownsburg, which has lost only one game by one point last week. So bottom line is doing this without any notes or a damn good football team. But there's no way not one. But here's the problem. And I'm not gonna mention names. I'm not gonna mention leagues because they know who they are, and this irritates the hell out of me beyond repair. So basically, some coaches in the league decided that they were going to kind of combined and vote certain ways. And try and basically, in my opinion, kind of sabotaged the ratings, which is ludicrous, rigged the seedings. Good luck to him. That's all I'm going to say. They know they are. Honestly, if I wasn't one of those schools, I have a difficult time going down and saying you did the right thing. It's ludicrous anyway. I don't know how you feel about that. But it's white coaches shouldn't vote. Aren't you glad you hung on. Coaches want Ella back when I literally When I worked at the Cincinnati Post years ago, we stopped taking coaches votes because there were coaches who would be like you'd look at their top 10 and you're like the best team is on their way. I don't like that coach. Well, that's ridiculous. You're voting about a coach or voting about the best team. I don't know, Steve. How do you feel? It just It just irritates me and I I don't know what people may bemoan the computer system. At least it takes the Subject. Yvette E by coach is out of it. Wow. A heck of an intro, Tom. It's ridiculous. Well, I don't know. I think that the situation this year is so crazy. And when we were all sitting down and voting, you know, I know When I was when I was submitting my seat I was trying to be is I don't know. I wanted to look at all the records and you want to read you want. You know what you wantto reward teams that are winning, and I tried to reflect that in my votes. But everybody has. You know they have their own reasons, and I shoot. I have enough problems in my world and trying to help my kid get better that I don't worry about what other people vote or how they vote. The reality is Then you and I have talked about this Tom and some of the things they're in the book. What do you want? Kids that you wanted to get better. You one of the challenge himself day in and day out one of the stretch themselves. We look at our schedule on the way we schedule it, Saint Xavier high. We want to schedule the best possible competition in the country. We want to play the very best. Even if you are, even if you lose, at least you've learned what you need to get better at your kids are better for the experience, and it's so different in the playoffs. I don't care how you vote. How you're still gonna have the play great teams. And in order to advance, you're going to have to beat the team, so you may try to vote a certain way to get a certain outcome, But it really doesn't matter because in the end, you've got to compete against the best, and that's it. That's the thing that that I struggle with it. Like, why wouldn't you want to compete against great competition Day in and day out? Why don't you want to do that? At the high school levels of kids grow when I have an unbelievable experience, regardless. I mean, 2016. I mean, we played the number one ranked schedule in the country, according to I can't remember how many outlets But these kids finished the season five and five. But they want to state title. Why challenges every single day and and I just don't get. I will never understand how people known embrace And maybe that's part of the problem is, people don't embrace that challenge of Maine. Let's compete against the best surround yourself with people, you know, but I've been a king and a hat. I have surrounded myself with so many people that are so smarter than me. That I'm a better human being because of it, right? And I'm never going to shy away from that. And and I'm gonna continue to challenge our.

"But one season ah, member of the Lexington Legends, Public Relations staff came and invited the beat riders to come down. For a game. So Kevin going into the Cincinnati Post and I, we got together and checked out a game on a Saturday night. I believe what you did Friday or Saturday night. It just had a blast at the elections and Legends game and they did a promotion that I absolutely love would love to see more of it. And that is after alleged hit a home run, and there were two or three home runs hit. There was a guy sitting in the box seats behind home plate near the nearthe Legends dugout. The kid would come out after his home run tip his cap. The guy would take his cap in Rome. This seats the box seats from third base to first. Your first to third base behind the dugouts and right in that area there and collect money and folks were tipping him, You know, putting a dollar $5 whatever in this guy's cap And then the guy racing around the stadium, hands the ball player his cap with the money in it. Is a is a tip for hitting a home run. I thought that was so cool. I was hoping that the Dayton Dragons would do something like that. And I don't know if they did or not. But I just thought that was really cool. And that was my memory of Ah. Going to a legends game and really an awesome promotion. But what I'd like to know is where did you play Little League Baseball, Not whole baseball. In suburban Cincinnati. What field? What do you remember about it? The chick stir grew up early on Grand Avenue, right up the street from Holy Family Church in school, And then we moved in 1960 when I was in the first grade to ST William. At the We lived at the corner West Eighth and Rosemont. We had a hoop in our driveway, Little driveway, legend and the ball. We set up a fence. My dad did, but the ball would bounce And the next thing I know I am racing down west, a street trying to chase our basketball. But anyway, Jem See Park US camp. Dell Hi Junior High del High Park into Rome. Those fields in Boldface Park, which became Pete Rose Park. Now it's back to bold face down on the river. Ah umpired played down there many, many times so Hey, Where did you would love to hear from you? Where did you play Little League Baseball. And what do you remember about it? Man was a candid park in Redding. Was it Yeah. Where you and Ah, but I'm travelling around and going to a lot of different places. Man, Wittenberg University beautiful. Baseball stadium. Wow, He's just awesome. But I've been to Riverside Park. I've even going out to beach acres in Anderson Township toe umpire but have no field in white oak. And Waterworks Park and Fairfield. Fairfield is just unbelievable. The number ofthe baseball fields and stadiums and That's where the job Joe Nuxhall Miracle Field in Fairfield, Man Just Ah! Riverside Park on round bottom, rode all over the place, so we've been staying busy and that hiss really helped fill the void. With no major league baseball. Coming up to the top of the hour. Don amrhein. He's coming in studio veteran fast pitch softball coach and instructor and really looking forward to talking to don And He's also a terrific umpire. But he's the head Girls softball coach at ST Ursula Academy, and he also has ties to the Reds working with the Youth Academy. And ah, the Cincinnati Bengals. So looking forward to having don in studio. It's awfully awfully hot out outside, man. Be sure to hydrate, but it's so good to see the Reds back at you know, part half the team is a great American ballpark. The other half is it Presque au Park. I wonder what is going through the mind of Aristide Ease, Aquino. I'm not saying he's been banished to Fresco Park, but to hear, you know, Nick crawl, the general manager and Reds officials talk about roster balance and everything, though Punisher. Maybe there's not enough work for him at Great American ballpark. Maybe they need him at fresco. I just I just kind of We shake in my head that he's to me. It just sounds like he's getting cast aside here and, yeah, he had an unbelievable August. He struggled in September. But let's not forget The awesomeness. That is, and was, and is, and hopefully will be Aristides Aquino, looking forward to the 60 game sprint for the Reds and really looking forward to Extra innings. Putting the runner at second base. I love it as soon as they talked about that. That's what happens in fast pitch softball. It's called the TB, the international tiebreaker rule. Whoever makes the last out or if this say the number seven batter is due up in the order Number six goes to second base number seven batteries up. And you conjugate decided that way and I absolutely love it is going to be a roller coaster. It's going to be, you know, Ryan type moment. With the excitement of extra innings coming to Major League Baseball. Hates.

"Mentioned Montgomery and go to the boat house for the ribs. I want to know if there's another restaurant. That I used to frequent, is it still there and I'm being I'm normal sound dumb for asking. But the Mason Net in Cincinnati it's gone. Yeah closed. Yes, that was a five Star Restaurant, right? Andy and it stay, but at one of those you know you had to wear I think back in the day sport coat again in knows you did, but downstairs. The thing that was great was the kitchen. What I would each downstairs right? You go downstairs? The same chef was cooking the same food, right. It was great. Yeah, closed up. Too many now for about eight ten years now. Wow, yeah, haven't been to Mason that, but definitely planning on going into Cincinnati couple of friends of mine work at the enquirer now, so I'm GonNa. Come for a visit and. Newspapers going. On inquires, not going anywhere. I hope none I'm. I love newspapers, absolutely all right well. Let's if Dak Prescott reading the newspaper I'm sure it can't be too happy. Because and let's get into this. You know there's been all this talk about. There was hundred and seventy five. Million Dollars on the contract. On the table for him to sign a deal and supposedly. It didn't happen, and there was two reports that he turned it down. He wants a fifth. He doesn't WANNA fifth year. The cowboys WANNA forty and all this other stuff, but then we got some other. Information on this, and this came from rob. Who who's reporting this? Was this a rappaport? No, that would be ESPN. Cowboys reporter Todd Archer. Todd Archer and used to for the Cincinnati Post that taught archer. That's right, but give me. The GIST OF IT! That's right. According to Todd Archer again of ESPN, the cowboys current offered a Dak Prescott would make him the second highest paid player in the NFL behind Russell Wilson the guaranteed money however is on par with Jared Goff God which was one, hundred, ten, million and again, Russell Wilson got one hundred and seven million, so it be on par with the highest guaranteed, but second as far as average annual salary and Andy. Do, you just heard it. Even, though the money's there, right? It's second as far as contract. Here's my point. This is the point I make Chris Bussard. Over when it comes to Dak Prescott. The, cowboys have reservations despite a winning despite winning of the four divisions, and he's won as many games. I think only Tom Brady and I think he's tied with. Russell Wilson for most wind since he came in the league, but every other quarterback. WHO's turn came? Got The highest contract until the next deal. Right everybody, you're even up, you know what I I think with Jerry Jones book stops with winning it and and look. He's got the stats last year. Dallas was first in total offense second pass offense in the office, fourth or fifth. They're right there. And he had one hell of a year. He did, but they didn't win anything. But one of the things I think you have to consider Dallas I. Believe now is listed five dollars and cap space this year, and over eighty percent of that is twenty one and twenty one. The cat space allotted so there's not that much to squeeze out to get him in any money, but here's the here's the problem Mandy. They paid everybody else. You know what the the number one thing to get done, and the NFL get. If you have a guy you believe. Is your franchise quarterback. You gotta get them signed. gave the Eagles gave Carson wentz money. When he was coming off an injury, Jared Goff got paid. Everybody alkyl has gotten paid in the NFL except for Dak Prescott and said it. They don't believe he's dead guy and I'll tell you what because I think in the minds of many on that Dallas Organization. They say well. The offensive line is too key is not Prescott, a number, two Zeki Elliot's the offense, not Prescott and more than that last year he went. Oh, and five against ten win teams own FI. You can't do that you. Your winter and last year in the biggest game of the year with the division on the line, he went to Philadelphia Carson. Wentz won a football game with tape and string. 'cause I don't know who was out there. Form and Dak Prescott came up with a goose egg in nine, I remember seven, no such down in the biggest game of the year. They could have won the division remember Andy Day started the year three. You know they beat up three also rans DAK Prescott piled up his numbers against those teams, but when it really mattered, you just set it. Oh, and five against a better team, the best teams in the League can. This is my problem. You gotta you gotTa. Make a decision because I think he could wind up being kirk cousins where you wind up franchise tag him for two years, and then depending on what happens, and maybe the cowboys are spooked. Because the last year, all we heard was there loaded. They got everything they should go to the Super Bowl. Chris Bussar picked him to go to the Super Bowl a lot of people on the Dallas Cowboy. Bandwagon and they didn't even make the playoffs think about that, and now I think Dak. Prescott yourself all over again to a new coach Mike. McCarthy, so basically. Basically he's at square one. And maybe that's why they wanNA give that longevity on the contract. Because now it's going to be McCarthy's call. They got a new coach and they got a new quarterback. You know all about Andy. Don't from Cincinnati. I know never. WanNa playoff game, but Cincinnati in the Marvin Lewis era. They went to the playoffs seven times And don't wait what four times so he's not a bomb. He can play. And you could write on and I don't think that Prescott. Looking over his shoulder Andy Doll I really don't Dole's not gonNA. Take you to the promise land over with that talent with that offensive all. That's my point. Right Woods Ezekiel Elliott. They got a team right and the drafting of what the CD lamb wide receiver at Oklahoma that got some weapons they really do. So I think that's why they wound up scooping him up just in case, but if if I'm Dak Prescott and I'm not GonNa to guy for wanting to get his words. Why has everybody else been paid? I'll give you exhibit A. IF I'm Dak, Prescott. Would say how in the world when it was Matthew Stafford's turn to get paid. In Balk. They've won no playoff games in over a decade with Matthew Stafford. They've done absolutely nothing and you know what they did. They called the brinks truck and they backed it up at. Matt. Matthew Stafford how close they? Pay But they look at that office. It's terrible. My point is the cowboys have paid everybody. Zeki contract wasn't up. They didn't have to pay him all the guys that they paid. They paid everybody before the quarterback and as. Scott Prescott I tell I'm thinking. My ages play telling me this that they think Ezekiel Elliot's more valuable than you. That's the. That's not getting what he wants. And perhaps he is I think what he was when he was suspended when he was out there offense stuttered. They really did. He's the. He's the engine for that offense. Would you pay deck? Preska I mean when I saw the number forty five million dollars in their fifth year. Our saying it's the worst deal. It was the worst deal since probably the Louisiana purchase 'cause because France made a made a big mistake when they sold the. United States. They sold it for peanuts. Would you? Would you give a Dak Prescott one, seventy five or make him give him give him too? Because the whole thing is his contract. If they were to sign, that contract would have been hired in Russell, Wilson, would would you? Do you think he's worth a contract of Russell Wilson's. It's very. It's very easy for me to spend someone else's money and I'm going to do it right I..

"Keep the mass on. They keep saying people act on. Put the mask on but in reality ninety five percent of your average Americans wearing the right match if it was this bad I read a story in the Cincinnati Post one hundred years ago about the pandemic the Spanish flu that Hits Cincinnati and at that point the article said and they still had months to go there. Were at least twenty five thousand. I'm sorry twenty. Five Hundred Cincinnati ins were dead and that the hospitals there was Christ in you see was overwhelmed. Twenty five hundred dead at least fifteen thousand in the hospital. And that's that is an absolute crisis and so far in this so called pandemic which is unprecedent which is a bunch of crap and this unprecedented pandemic. There's been about sixty Cincinnatian died and the hospitals are empty so to compare this to that pandemic. That was a pandemic. What's happening now is a minor health difficulty. The media has exploded into a major catastrophe because they originally said the two million Americans. We're GONNA die and up to ten million we go to the hospital and so whether it's Christ hospital. Uc or saint. Anne's they were told and the White House was told. We got two million Americans about to occur and the next five months. We are in a panic. We're in a crisis and so every day that went by after that the president believed in the beginning. And the governor's believed we're we're going to face the existential crisis of our lifetime with millions of dead Americans it turn out to be well less than zero point one percent and other words. It's bad if you're one of those if you're if you're in the nursing home with underlying conditions you're in trouble but the general population in this and the general population no worse than a bad flu season but now having been wrong. They can't admit they were wrong. They have to keep acting as if the crisis is about to occur in every story every phrase that can be exploited by the media to describe something not occurring. They will do because it fits their overall agenda exactly right. The problem is back They keep me. It keeps focusing on these. I like New York and California and yeah they've got plenty of jobs out there but outside of the other forty eight eight. Nothing out you know. We're we're sitting on our butts with our help mostly get healthcare workers your respiratory there. We're being laid off because it's not as bad as some of these particular accent with you. Have you know if you're if you have underlying conditions if you're a high risk? Yeah you need to take the precautions but you know there's a lot of us you know there's a. There's a vast majority of us that don't need to be locked down in our homes anymore was see brandon. That doesn't fit the media narrative so that idea doesn't get much publication. Does it all the tree park sometimes brandon? You're a great American and thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham show. She didn't know what she's got Bush. He was injured little house smock or whatever house code thing. And she was creeping out scurrying out there like a little mouse, grabbing my paper and running back in her house. Good for her. I never saw a ninety year old woman moved fast. But she wanted that damn pay for me. Pretty good. So then I call it the bay for back and said, hey, Sturt put it up on my poor little higher. So we got Rachel coming up. Rob.
