Joe Brown: Stacey Abrams Has Always Attacked Black Men in Her Career

"Now, I'm curious to know the statistics. How many people in Georgia have actually been pulled over because they were driving while black. How many people I seriously wanted to see the numbers. You know, you keep hearing people like Stacey Abrams, who's a professional race agitator, and her job is to get out there, and she has a problem with white people, and she's got a big, but what's fascinating about Stacey Abrams. Yeah, she's got a problem with white people, but she has a bigger problem with black men. And this has been very well documented. I was listening to a great interview on kwa flagship radio station, Ben dieter of the anchor had judge Joe Brown. Remember judge Joe Brown, he's our official voice of a CNN here on the Todd stern's radio show. Crying Negro network. Yeah, that's judge Joe Brown. Judge Joe Brown is a great man. He had the big TV show. He's running for mayor of Memphis Tennessee. And he's even been pulled into all of this and he was talking this morning about how Stacey Abrams has made it a career to go after black men. And so this is one of the reasons why she's doing so poorly in the polling data is that only black women seem to be supporting her campaign. That and the pajama boy snowflakes. So anyway, now she's declared war on the sheriffs of Georgia, folks, I'm telling you, believe what Chucky Schumer said on the tarmac to Joe Biden last week, they're in trouble the Democrats are in trouble in Georgia.

"His mom is dead. Do we know how his mom died in a car crash, right? Yeah. But maybe his mom is someone from the Chucky's franchise. How did the girl from curse and cult of Chucky get in a wheelchair? Was it a car accident? I don't know. She was a born that way, because I think in terms of accident. But I don't want to say that for sure because I'm wrong. But there's something there. And I think the show is the show is doing a good job and I believe that let's look at the plot. Paraplegic Nina pierce. Nika pierce. That's Nick appears. It doesn't say why, it doesn't say why she's a paraplegic. Okay, well, all right. That was my, that was my fan theory. Unspecified heart disease also. Anyway, yes. Okay, that's the episode, right? Any guess and yeah any guesses at all? No, I mean, that's what I like about the show right now is that I don't know where the fuck it's going or what it's doing. I agreed. 'cause they're not gonna immediately murder all these kids, right? The kids are gonna have a change of heart. Maybe after Lexi survives the attack from Chucky like Jake and her will become friends because they have this like creature that they know they have to stop and they don't know how to stop them, agreed, you know? All right, Marcus, that is the new Chucky TV series reviewed by us, given to us by fear God of death on our Patreon. Marcus. Yes. Did you like the show? I did really like the show. Nick, did you like the show? I loved it. Yeah. They ever. I think it's fantastic. I'm gonna make Lexie with my Lexi miss the challenge this week. I'm gonna make her watch it and watch 'cause I wanna keep watching it. And I think it's fantastic. The fact that I came home and Darren was sitting there in front of the TV, like watching it. Like watching watching the show like genuinely enjoying it by herself and I was like, this is a good show. Wild. Yeah, yeah. And Marcus, would you recommend this show? I would recommend the show. I think it's accessible to everybody. I would recommend watching cult of Chucky first or do it going down a YouTube rabbit hole of like, okay, what are the plots and absences of the story or the story so far kind of videos that they do on YouTube? Watch one of those and then watch this. There's not that much left and I'm excited for it. What about you? Yeah, I think the show is great. I think it's great for horror fans that keeps everything like true to the genre and true to who Jackie is. I think at least to me. But also people who don't know anything..

"Him, practicing with a knife. It seems like we're watching a prequel to Dexter in the best way. Yes, yes. You're right, yet there are a lot of scenes where you see that Jake could potentially be a serial killer as well. And there's no reason for him not to be an apprentice like Chucky is charismatic, right? Like that's a part of Chucky in his character. He's charismatic and he gets people into his fold. He has Tiffany. He's, you know, and then I guess now Jennifer Tilly. And he's gotten nikka. He was trying to get her to murder too because of all the injustices being done against her. And he took over her body so he's got a little gang going and I would be surprised if Jake ended up joining, but not surprised by the journey that the story's taken. It's gonna end up being Chucky versus shank at the end of all just totally for a 100%. But I love the journey there. I really hope you hinted at it. I really hope that this isn't happening just so we could take over his body. I won't like that. Because the conceit of the show that Chucky just saw something in this kid and decided to like, I'm gonna fuck around and I'm gonna help this kid instead of what I normally do. As a conceived of the show, I love. I do love it a lot. Yeah. But it's so much character. I feel like he was helping up the kid so he could murder more people and have an excuse to murder more people. I don't think so, though, 'cause chuck doesn't check and could literally go from house to house to just kill people. And that's what he does sometimes, you know? Like he just like kills random people associated with the people for no reason. He doesn't need anything. The only thing they need is a movie around it. But it felt different in a good way because and again, I could be wrong because Chucky man. But I think attaching Chucky to this thing of not humanizing him because we don't need a humanism. He's a monster. Yeah, for sure. But it's character development. They're giving Chucky character development a little bit. That is wild. And honestly, really cool. I also don't get it. I want to see what else they bring to Chucky, right?.

"She painted them all. Some came with a description. This one, Nellie, in the 1700s, was an old lady who thought to have been a witch was blamed for killing 8 local children. The town folk beat her and placed her in a shallow grave to slowly die. Turns out it wasn't her. She was innocent, but it was too late. She wrote, she vowed revenge. She rode revenge. She vowed revenge. She wrote her don't know if she is daimonic spelled wrong. I have kept her packed away on Darren would never smell it wrong. Maybe she needs to be placed in a box display, and only for someone who can deal with this? Question mark? Or experience? These dolls just scare me in general. Want them all gone, especially once I have like this one. Her description said blessed, so maybe she has been. Hashtag blessed. I think this is fake and all the misspellings are a red herring to make us think it's real, okay? 'cause the road revenge and the daimonic. It's just a little too much. I see, I see the game you play. You can't put blinders on me, baby. What do you think, Nick? Don't read it quietly to yourself that's not entertaining. I'll edit it out. Anytime I have an aside, I'm just like, I'll add this out. Who cares? Fair enough. I don't know. I think it's real. My instinct was real. I'll go with my instinct. My instinct was that it was real. What's your real price? Yeah. My real place is about $15 million. $15? My fake price? I can get it in a dollar. I'm never gonna get it. Oh,.

"Maybe what I solve is something else. The light that Chucky is under for this show is literally wild. I don't even know how to contend with it so far. In the best way. That's why I'm captivated. Through that lens of like he is just kind of perpetuating like an abusive relationship because people who are often abused or like in these situations or are marginalized, end up in those kinds of relationships because they don't know any better. Through that lens, I could see why the maid being murdered made sense. Story wise. But in terms of me liking Chucky, it made me not like Chucky. Totally. Totally, I totally agree with all that. The viewpoints of the show. And then the show is definitely interested in those things because of the flashbacks they did in the third episode. The third episode you get the most Charles flashbacks and you see that there was a serial killer in the 60s going around and killing people and the serial killer got to his house, killed his father, came upstairs to kill him and his mother and it's the button and the very last part. Honestly, at the end of the third episode, as it was a climax of him and Lexi, and it cut to a flashback, I was like dumb show. That is so dumb. Why would you a flashback now? What a waste I was so in this show, this is not the time. And then the door opens. And I thought it would be stupid Halloween shin. They'd run away from the serial killer, but the serial killer opens the closet, and the mothers are really dead. Because Charles killed his mother. I love that. And then the serial killer is like, what the fuck? And then he just says, I hoped. And he's like, you got guts kid. I like it. Yeah. Yeah. I like that a lot. I think that wild. Yeah. You talk about the nature of evil and so many movies, like the Rob Zombie Halloween movie..

"So Jake literally came to this party only not because he was invited only to try to find Chucky and save Lexi. Yeah. And when he finally finds Lexie, there she is, doing a fucking performance for everyone, dressed as his dead father being electrocuted in front of the whole school. And then in that moment, I'm like, oh, homegirl's a psychopath. A 100%. She was a straight up cycle. I was like, she is a monster and I was so for her getting killed. And as far as we are in the show right now, she has been murdered. But I am a 100% down with her being murdered. Go ahead. It's wild. I've never seen a high school scene like that. I know a dashed line for her too. My job was also on the floor. I've never seen a scene like that from a high school movie with bullies that really like, oh, people kill themselves over these things. Like I've never seen. Like in love Simon, like there's some bullying that happens online. And it's bad. And you see it like in degrassi in this high school movie and that and you see all these high school bullying things and they're like, they're bad. Yeah. But this is next level. I have never seen something. Pretty bad. People forget that, right? Kids are like little fucking sociopaths and they'll test your limits. They'll see how much they can get away with sometimes. And she's doing exactly that. And it's like, it's wild. It is very wild. And it makes me hurt. It makes me so sad for this boy because he's such a good boy. Yeah. And he's like getting turned. Can you talk to me about, you mentioned it before how Chucky was grooming? Jake, but talk to me about how and how this might be. Yeah. I mean, I think the show's doing a great job of it. There's these little quiet moments where Jake is alone. It does it several times, where it takes a loan with Chucky and Chucky's like, that was fucked up. What happened, right? How does it make you feel? Do you want to go outside and murder someone maybe? Maybe I can convince you to murder someone. Oh, you don't want to murder? Let me do it. There's one moment that blew my fucking mind. Whereas Chucky's sitting on the bed and he's like, I had a queer son. And it's like, what? What the fuck? Why is Chucky woke? And then turkey says like a super woke. He's like my kids gender fluid. My kids gender fluid. Yeah, and he was like, he was like, you have a son? And he's like, yeah, I forgot what he says, but he said something like, I'm not a monster. Like, yeah, I accept myself. Yeah. I don't care. You're fucking gay. I'm not a monster. You have a fucking serial killer. Who's more moral? So many people in this country. It's wild. It's same thing happened in cult of Chucky..

"Yeah, right? I didn't know he was calling, maybe that maybe you're right. I need to watch the cult of Chucky clip again. Cult of children. Oh my God. Are you looking to break now? No, we can't do that. Why? 'cause it's gonna ruin the podcast momentum. Are you looking? Did you find it? I just see the Andy guy shooting him. I'll watch I have cult of chuck. I will watch it again. I just watched it. You're gonna watch the whole thing. I think at some point. I wouldn't be surprised timeline wise if that makes sense. 'cause that makes sense. I might have just made that up. Yeah, because this is not what I'm saying on these endings. Okay, cool. So then let's cult of Chucky or curse of Chucky. Curse of Chucky is the first one. Curse of Chucky, I think it ends with him making a phone call. No, it's not that phone call. In cult of Chucky, he has like a phone call thing. Oh, you're right too. So maybe I was thinking about that scene. But I don't think it is. I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Yeah, I don't think it. I thought it wasn't. I thought it is Andy, making the phone call, and Andy is the boy who's been in the original child's play movies. Yes, yes, yes, which is cool. Yeah. Okay, so getting into the second episode. Let me just look at the synopsis really kick. Did we miss something? Oh, wait. Oh, the talent show is in that first episode. Okay. So I was in the first episode. Okay. So basically, Lexi his bully, this check invites him to the talent show. And he wouldn't have gone, but what's his face is crush, is playing at the tail show. So he is going to go. So he goes question is like, hey, being a lot to me if you'd come. And he's like, oh, yeah, totally, yeah, no. I was just gonna go anyway. Yeah, totally. It sounds good. Yeah. But is it real? It's almost exactly how it happened. It was great. It's fucking great. But Lexi took it as an opportunity to make fun of Jake in front of the whole fucking class and almost out him. It was arrested. I was like, wow. There's no way this happens anywhere in high school. This was the most it was the fakest thing of the Chucky series, including the fact that there's a voodoo killer doll. It was wild because she was also about to take out of her closet her other friend, the one that does the podcast. And that's our friend. Yeah. Exactly. But yeah, no, it was like wild. Yeah. Darren saying, why? And then they let her do what was the monologue on stage. Yeah. It just was a lot. It was weird. I think she was the MC of the talent show, so she just wasn't charged. Yeah, but I feel like usually teachers are wrangling kids for a talent show. You don't give kids free use of a microphone, but that wasn't the craziest moment for me. The craziest moment was this next moment, which changed my purview of the entire show. Because I was like, this is the kind of show we're gonna be, I'm fucking in. This is gonna be a wild fucking life. Because you hear a voice and Jake turns around and Chucky's sitting in the seat behind him in the auditorium. And he says he saw him go to the seat. Honey, I don't chuck it just literally whispers to Jake. Take my lead. Just go along with it. And he takes them, and I was like, he is not about to ventriloquist in front of all these people..

"A 100%. It's a wonderful and beautiful thing to do that is very, very helpful. Very much love. Yeah, so during that scene, I think you're right. I think Chucky's original plan was to just murder the shit out of this kid. Not everybody. Out of everyone. But then he sees that this kid is kind of is being abused and he has something in him that Chucky recognizes. And he's like, I think I can foster this and turn this kid into a murderer. Yeah. Yeah. Or at least he finds some kind of kinship with him. He sees something, something. I think this is the commentary of almost all show, like what's happening here, this relationship between the two of them. But it's super interesting because again, for all of spooky boys month, something that keeps coming up that we're talking about is the genre of horror being used to talk about the real world in a way that you usually can't drama or a comedy, because it would be melodramatic, you would be too much like if this movie, like, for example, love Simon, I thought was a fantastic film, dealing with similar subject matter. Yeah..

"They cast another guy to come and be Freddie and they had done it. They shot, 'cause they shot scenes. And then they were like, this doesn't work. And they brought our boy back. Yes. And I like the child's play movie, but obviously it wasn't universally revered or else they would have kept me in those movies. And Mark Hamill's pretty much the best you can get. For voice acting, period. He's great. But still Brad is Chucky? He's got it. He captures the personality. He knows the nuances of Chucky. Fear gotta say, we watched it together. What did we watch together? I don't know. Leprechaun. Is that the movie we fell asleep during? Is that what we fall asleep? During when we went to your wedding for your God of death? Because that was a good idea for you. Okay. Yeah, we were talking about when we went to go visit him for his wedding, and fell asleep during a movie. I think it might have been leprechaun. Show starts. You meet Jake. He picks up Chucky and then he oh gosh. And then and then you start to meet Jake and immediately I was so unexpectedly pleasantly surprised when we go to Jake's room in the TV show and I'm like, is he Sid? He is taking a part dolls to make sculptures. Yeah, he's an artist. He's got that. Well, that's the kid vibe. And I love it. I'm like, I relate to it. Well it started off trying to circumvent you to think he's the asshole, right? Like checking my die. But then you find out that the sculptures are like, they're real, he's an art, like he's really like trying to make art. It's not just a creepy kid. He's like an insular kid trying to figure out what's best with the dead bomb situation. And because she was an artist and, you know, there's sets of shit like this all over the Internet that is wonderful. Like those creepy furby dolls that are like super long and weird. There's so much stuff like that around right now that's pretty popular. So I wouldn't be surprised if a 15 year old was into it and wanted to try to create their own creepy dolls. Yeah. Now, then you get that it's like a whole bunch of really nice suspension where you think Chucky's gonna do something like just kill Jake straight up and this is gonna start. But then this is what I want your opinion. I think the next point is do you think the next little part? The next little part of my thought process here is this next little part, I think we the audience see what Chucky sees. And what we see is Jake, a misunderstood kid with a dead mom with an alcoholic abusive father. The family that doesn't understand them. And then also, once they have family dinner, which is pretty much the next part. Yeah. His family is not okay with who he is. They're not okay with the fact that he's gay. They're making fun of it, they're dismissive of it. The dad literally throws a glass on the ground and says, he's 13, he doesn't understand what he is. Oh, and the cousins come over. Yes, yes, yes. Yes, yes, yes. Yes. And then what I'm guessing happened is that when the audience saw that, so did Chucky and that changed his plans. It changed everything. Yeah. I agree. 100%..

"And she's like, no, we just look a lot of like. Oh my goodness. It's very meta. It's very meta. It's very funny. More meta than I would be expecting from a movie about dolls having sex. Also in cult of Chucky, this might be important for the TV show I don't know because the whole show isn't out yet. So I will want to say in cult of Chucky, a few things happened. Chucky just to catch people up more to the TV series. Chucky has the power to transfer his soul to other things. You find out that he can transfer his soul to multiple things mainly Chucky dolls and work all of them. So they all gain sentience and they all have the personality of Chucky. So in that movie, you have like three Chucky dolls running around, committing murders. He transfers his soul over to nikka pierce, I think her name is the girl from cursive Chucky. And so at the end of that movie, she too becomes Chucky. And escapes the mental asylum. I need you to explain that last thing to me again one more time. Okay, Chucky takes his soul and starts putting it in other stuff. One of the things he puts it in, you've just puts it in other Chucky dolls in another good guy dolls. So he puts them in oh that makes sense. So that way he has multiple little guys killing each other. Killing everyone. So then he finally puts his soul into the protagonist, Nick pierce, and she becomes Chucky also. So she's a human body that he is living in. Oh. So he can go commit murders. And that is currently canon. That is currently canon 'cause I think she makes according to the trailer she makes it appearance in this show. Oh, wow. Yeah, I was fucking wild. Okay, I think I'm caught up then. Great. Now we caught everyone up. We caught sorry, I gotta keep fidgeting my chair. Now we call everyone up. We caught you up. We caught our fans up and now we can talk about the show. Hopefully that wasn't too much back information. But I felt like it was needed. Whatever. Is there a sequel in the making? There's four years of history to cover. Yeah. We're gonna get into it, baby. We're gonna get into it right now. So like you said, this the new series starts off at a yard sale. That is a sci-fi USA show. It was a little hard to find. I bought it to watch it, so did Marcus. Yes. I did. I definitely did. You can watch it on the sci-fi dot com place, but episodes are like leaving. So I don't even know how you would watch this other than just buying it somewhere..

She makes him do it, and then they have a baby, and then the baby comes up and the baby's like real fucked up. Baby is like, fucking looks like an anemic little fucking ghost boy. And then one more point. At one point about the ghost boy, a lot of people online it's been trending recently. A lot of people have line have been comparing it to Timothy Chalamet and say that it looks exactly like him. He does look a little bit like Martha Chalamet. That's all I want. That was my only complaint about doing. He looked like a skinny little ghost boy. Oh my God, that boy needs to eat some fucking protein. Okay, so then it's like, then we're chilling. It's just because it is pretty much just 'cause just 'cause and then they're all tormented and then after their tormented, she's like, well fuck, now I'm like going nuts and she goes to a mental institution, but guess what? The doll also goes to the mental institution and the mental institution, the dog kills everybody. Then for another undisclosed reason, probably circumstance will probably never find out. This doll ends up at our yard sale. And that's where the Chucky TV show starts. Boom, nailed it. Nice. That what a great synopsis of the Chucky history. Absolutely loved it. I will say this. Please say everything that I missed. I don't think you missed. I mean, honestly, if people want to detail tabs, just watch the movies. They're worth it. But there's a military academy at some point in there. What? In the cult of Chucky movie, isn't Chucky related her? Always checking related to her? I'm reading cursive Chucky right now, hold on. Let me read the plots of this real quick. Was that the thing? Well, the voice actor for Chuck E.'s daughter is the new is the protagonist of that movie. Of cursive Chucky. In real life? In real life. Oh, really? Yes. They look exactly the same. That's really cool. That is really cool. I did not know that. Oh, Doris. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. You know what? I really, it does look like him. I really appreciate that. 'cause she did a good job too. She earned the role. It wasn't just what is it called? Nepotism. No, it wasn't. It wasn't just Jonathan..

"Chucky is one of my favorites. I will say that part of me has wanted a Chucky doll in the house at some point, but it is too creepy to kind of have around and be considered a normal person. So maybe eventually I will get one. But I just love that he's funny, it's silly, it's goofy. It's also scary, like there's just this, I don't wanna say it's can't be. I feel like can't be sometimes it's too specific of a definition, right? Yeah. But I think it's camping. Are you trying to say kitschy? I don't know. It's self aware and it doesn't take itself too personally. It's honestly one of the better horror franchises. In terms of that, like, being self aware and knowing that it's kind of bad and cheesy and corny and leaning into it. What do you think of the turns it keeps making? Because childs play one two and three are very different films than bride and see it. And then those are very different films from cursing cult. I do. In order to have a good franchise, you need to make the turns, especially since most of these started in the 80s. So you're not gonna survive 40 years from just like being the same doing the same thing over and over again. That's true. I mean, to be fair, Jason and Freddy are dead, right? Yeah, they're gone. No one has tried to reboot it. No one knows what to do with them. I'm sure there's like ten years ago for both of them and they suck. Yeah, I'm sure people are passing around scripts and stuff right now, but like nothing's gonna get made for a while. And so the fact that Chucky was able to kind of subvert the process for cinema and come out with get the money together, do an indie not read, not even a reboot. Do an indie sequel to the main franchise? Yes. That's weird. And then curses Chucky was great. It was so well received people loved it. It was obviously a low budget indie movie. Was it? Yeah. I really liked it. I know. But people liked it..

"Hello everybody welcome into another episode of the w. t. h. Podcast creamy can screwed in a little. Bit let me. Turn up your headphones. They're seeking hear me. Yeah all right. He turned that down a little bit. Here that yeah wanna make sure we there. You go perfect. I don't get too close to jason fair enough fair enough Normally at this point in the show. I will go through all the suffering talk about on the show today but i don't know how long the two things are gonna be. Our main topics are going to take so. I'm not promising anything beyond. We're gonna talk about dave shells new special the closer which kareem wanted to talk about. So we're gonna talk about that and we're going to talk about the former. Las vegas raiders head coach. Jackie schalke and his emails so those are the two things that will definitely be getting too. But we have a. We have a little bit of a setup. I wanna wanna talk to before we get to all of that Welcome everybody for and thanks for watching wherever you might be. We do appreciate you. Please telephone if you get a chance to do that. That would be awesome. I'd like to start with some caboose. Talk okay so this jason's favorite subject. It is i bring it up because i know jason spent some time where my wife and i spent some time on friday night. We had our first night away together in two and a half years more than two and a half years hallelujah. Unbelievable less than twenty away for less than twenty four hours so and found out that you both still want each other. Sure without waking the baby having to worry about waking basically do anything you don't have to worry about shit you know. There's a lot of fall asleep when that happens though. Unfortunately so we drop the kids off. We left thursday. We went up to the reading area and say thursday night at my mother-in-law's place and she watched the kids while we went to duns muir california friday night chicken time is three out times at eleven because four hours. Are you kidding me four hours anyway. So we we had reservations at the railroad r. v. park. I think is what it's called so as an rv park kareem. Also got a bunch of cobb oozes and some boxcars that they've turned into motel roofs. Those if the so we got caboose number twelve to ourselves ice and had dinner in the restaurant right there. It's the first time we've been out to dinner like that in forever. Because of course the pandemic and all of that stuff and the food was delightful. But jason Your your wife chimed in saying that you guys went there on one last creek ovid trips. What did you guys do so we went up there. Baby this is actually the first time we got now after she'd had Almo- okay so this was a big big deal two years ago. Yeah and We were christopher's picked it out. All the places i this place because it was like there but then i was like what is it to do around there. I found like within an hour. And a half like there's Bernie falls is up there in that area. It is a very special place to my wife so we want it. Sounds like oh okay. There's this cool place there to go to for the first day that were there until three o'clock correct So and then we go back we can stop and reading and do some reading So much to do well. We went to the bridge. That looks like a big sundial sundial bridge. It's called and there's like a a garden over there is Incurred obey troby over there. So that's what we did. We went there and we make. I think it was Car twenty seven okay. So we didn't fuck. I was going to make that joke to you. know By the way they had a mattress that mattress hard hard mattress. So so it was. It was great. They had like a coffee in the room. You know the coffee was It was one of those pain in the ass. Coffee makers i went to because we were the ones close. We were in the car closest to the to the gift shop. And i said you know fuck it. I don't want to deal with all this happy. Should tearing over open a pack and dumping it in dealing with all that shit. So i went down and they charge two fifty to make a courage. They do not have any creamer there. And i did not use this. But one of the pods available was a kirkland brand pacific bold if you're charging fifty are you fucking kidding. You're you're you're trying to pump out kirkland brand curry i have my arrow press i ha i have an fr dr ways that i can i can just use the water sure sheen so that the couple of the the couple was nice Going up like chris. And i spent them a couple of hours up there like one like one. The nights the first night there were there now is below job to happen the next morning having coffee up there we played some games and stuff like that the next morning so the dangerous part is climbing up in there especially for you guys three times your high so but it was also valentine's it was the week after valentine's day sure so they had a special menu and stuff like that. Yeah the the food was. The food was great at the restaurant are waiter was terrible but our food was great. Yeah i can't remember if we had the best service which is better than the other way around the service your waiters great and your food shit. Yeah i think we've all had that our service was not the best i remember. It took holidays. But i also had like you know a way of you know. elliott lamb mutton. Yeah that was. Bring me mutton boy. It was good but it was really. It was a good dinner and it was a fun time. Yeah i was just curious. We got out in duns muir because who wouldn't and we went to so so we checked in and i said let's go get a lay of the land and we went into. There's a brewery in downtown done. So who went there and and that was okay. We sat outside. We got a great spot outside had a beer and then we went to the i g the grocery store in town. There's a up. There is sure is kareem. It's the only store in town and got a four pack of beer to bring back to the room and a six pack of water and from there we went to yaks tax. Is the famous restaurant. Dunn's mirror guy and we read about their famous. Yeah that's one of the only ones so read about their famous sticky buns and they were. They were good so we got to go to heat up the next morning and the dude that was in there goes because i was looking to see what they had on tap beers on tap and he goes i. You're eyeing my fermented hops. And i said yeah. And i said oh. That's right. I can get one to go and i said to him. I said well say what you like about cove. That's one good thing we can get beard ago news. Yeah one of the government got right by the way that's permanent now in california alcohol to go yet to go through permanent so is that is the good news with that on our way out. There's gas station next door. Yaks and there was a car with oregon plates and this car. The person who owns it and it was a family. I saw them go in. They did a full airing of their grievances on.

"At the top of the hour. We give you the hottest trending topics in the world. This is now trending with riggins on the tj show. One of your wife's least-favoured things in the world is chucky right. Yeah chucky from the movie child's play This horror movie terrified by even a picture of chucky. Well i'm scared to share this news with her. Chucky is coming to television. There's a new series debut on usa in october. And it it is a full blown. Chucky series ten episodes beginning october twelfth on usa and sci-fi and it picks up right where a cult of chucky left off the seventh movie. I believe and it's all the same voices and stuff and trump. I'm telling you. I was terrified. Is a kid watching it now as equally as scary. I don't like chucky. It has truly scary. I'm not watching this. She's truly so afraid of it. That i would never even consider pranking. Her with the chucky doll hidden in the house or anything like that is. You wouldn't even consider that. Well considered. But i wouldn't do it but never do it. So chucky is the title of the year jennifer. Tilly's going to be in it again. She was the bride of chucky So this is Out october twelfth. You can go check it out if you're a horror fan. There's one thing i wanted to do test. It is just to see how much she did. Hate the chucky doll by putting one in her candy drawer and see if it would keep her from going into get a blow pop scared of that thing as she is if she opened. That candy drawer knows the chucky doll. She would lose her mind. Would she want the candy so badly that she would go..

"Much gogo has played a part in cushion hip hop you know In in and just pop culture in general you know when you look at beyond saved. One of her biggest records was done by rich harris. Who i'm gonna tell you off the top that his brain was thinking gogo when he made that wreckage tennis. That pocket and nets seal. So i have a a documentary. Coming out is called Chuckie thompson presents. Dc gogo and basically breaks down. You know a lot of people don't understand the music that understanding what it takes to make throw then this also big movement behind you know. Where is the official music of the city and then also a lot of people in the city. They t the demon that google has been on but that is a mainstays like is just for the city. It's probably one of the only places that you can go see a true art form still in. Its truest artful. And i just you know i i took it as a mission to google. Story is my story with though people don't even realize that my life the song i was mimicking gogo van in dc. I've played that voyeurs breakfast. Like a gogo obama clinton so it's just had lot of the records that out of eight. So would that be said. It's like everything is Is is happening. And i think has happened for a reason. You know definitely mary. i really wanted to Want to give a stupa. Shout out to her man business is. It's just incredible that you know for situation it. She was sad about you. Know an attorney in all of this to realize how many of the people related to that sad you know and the fact that i was able to play a part of that you know is is is amazing so i appreciate all the phone calls right love it. I love it and we absolutely appreciate you for coming to the baller. Podcast before we let you go why we let you go. We have to have you as part of our baller male segment. For here we go. I'm going to read it deora. My wife is terrible with money. I have to hide money from her all the time. I love her with all my heart but for managing money to manage credit. She's hell irresponsible. How do i speak with. How do i speak to her in a way. That won't hurt chuck not to go. I mean in a situation like that. Be real this money from say. I don't think that that's the situation you should play with. I'm not saying you should stream and go nuts when you're talking about it but you also have to understand where she made coming from. You know you have to see the root of the problem. Why why's she acted this way. What is it about money. That makes her act. And you deal with that you try to figure out okay you know what. Maybe you can't have this. Maybe we give you this and then after this you just have to manage but that that story rains every house say everybody has to deal with one. But it's just you know. How real are you wouldn't because the ones lesson that i learned is the money always get spent. You know i don't give if you get a check for forty million all the money's going to spin the question is is what have you done you know. What's the plan was the situation. So how would you say they just need to sit down and just you know be real and map out a plan but be real with the play. You know understand where she's at washy.

Using Stories to Market Your Business with Amy Porterfield

"Hey is this happened in your business. Last month was a bad month so this month. We're going to run a sale. A big promotion. We're gonna email list and say by now because it. We gotta get some cash in the door. It's not really a marketing plan. You know what that's called. It's called spray and pray from the ramsey network. This is the entreleadership podcast where we help business. Leaders themselves their teams and the prophets. I'm your host daniel tardy and my guest today. is amy porterfield. She's a longtime friend of entreleadership. She's also an online marketing expert to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners win. Aim is going to share with you. Why you have to have a plan for your marketing and the good news is it doesn't have to be complicated in fact the foundation it simple because marketing starts with just telling people's stories so when you tell the story especially about somebody else that you served and you've helped when you tell the story right meaning you talk about the struggles and the challenges in the fears that they had the winds and what that meant for them and what they've overcome people can see themselves in those stories so much easier than you. Just saying i've got this great product. It has amazing benefits in features. You need it. That's one thing but also when you sell when you promote no matter how much your audience loves you. They put up a wall whether it be just a little while or really big wall. There's always a little defense up there and we're going to talk about it later. But i do webinars to sell my digital courses and on a webinar for the first forty five minutes you are giving giving giving and so when you do ask for them to buy your product. Their defenses are all the way up. Because you were giving and you were inviting them in in different ways in offering value so the same thing with the story when people see themselves in other people's stories and they can relate and resonate. They those defenses. Come down and they say i want a piece of that i if she could do it i can do it too and so i'm all about helping. People put their guard down. Because it's a natural thing to put it up especially when you're asking someone to spend money so i noticed you said when you tell the story right. Yeah what's the right way to tell the story. Well you had talked about donald miller when we were off camera and you had mentioned and you know that man is have learned so much from story brand in how he tells his story but if you can tell the story and somebody can literally put themselves in that story because they can relate to it. I feel as though the story is is doing the work it was meant to do. And so to me. You have to have all those important elements that donald miller talks about in terms of putting a story together in order for it to resonate and a lot of my students who are just getting started though one and tell the story but with a one tells i hope so and so get x. Results they were this way. I and now. They're this way now like there before and after and done. But when i when i think about telling a good story i want to talk about the richness of it and i have a student. Her name is niro. she lives in los angeles. She's a single mom of three. Her mom lives with her. She was a not making barely any money as a baker and she knew she wanted a different life for her kids and she was working two jobs. One like chucky cheese and one baking out of her kitchen but then she realized how to create a digital course and she created her first digital course to create caramel candy apples. Who would have thought that a caramel candy apple. Digital course how to do it would be a huge success but she made over sixty thousand dollars on her first launch and then she did it again had the same success and when i asked her deniro what does this mean for you and she said all i wanna do is retire. My mom she cleans houses. She's she supported me. She is an amazing support to our family. I want to help her retire when when she told me that like my heart. Don't been but when i tell that story i don't just say how much deniro made in. What digital course she created. But i talk about what it means to her. And i think people can relate to that part of the story more than anything Yeah i mean just as you tell that story. I think everybody's going whoa caramel apples. And how could either something similar and caramel apples. That i'm going to sell an what did you do again. What did you teach on that web and like it just it pulls you win when you tell a story like that. So what What keeps us from telling the stories you know. I think we probably cognitively most business owners that have been around for a few years. Understand the power of story to some degree. I i know some of a struggle with feeling like we're wasting our audiences time or were belaboring things or it's not worth it. Why do we hesitate when it comes to this powerful mechanism you know. I can totally relate. When i first started telling stories. I would rush through him so quickly because i thought i was wasting. My audience is time like they wanted me to get to get to the point. And i i often Surround myself with a great storyteller. Because i love a good story and if you really think about your let's say you're out with some friends you're sitting around a fire and you all are just having a good time in someone tells a story and the when they add more detail when they add more layers to it when they really pull you in. You're like tell me more i'm here. I'm fully there. So you love that when they add the details and they really bring it to life. So why would it be any different. When you're telling your audience these really rich stories versus rushing to the punch line. It's the same kind of feeling they get on a webinar or had a campfire. And so i realized i needed to slow down so i did the exact thing that most of my students do they want to rush through it because they think they should and so. That's one thing another part in and this is gonna sound silly. And i've never really talked about this but we had to make it a practice in our business to get the stories like if we didn't have a process in the company to get these stories in the most richest way possible with all the details. I wouldn't be able to tell the stories so backup a little bit. We put a process in place where people can send us in their wins their results their satisfaction with our product and then we reach out to them on zoom and Someone on my team will do an interview and just ask them tons of questions and record it and transcribe it and then we kind of bring it into a story while my team then gives me all the details of that story so what my point was going to be is that i had to practice these stories if i want to add layers and richness to a story on a webinar or in a facebook. Live or on a podcast. I need a practice at a little meaning. I can't look at a bunch of bullets until the story. Well

Sorry Crypto Maximalists, But QE Is NOT The Devil - Alex Blum from Two Prime

"So topic number one. qe Is not the devil, right so Wednesday teasing the central banks fancy word for create new currency and why call Keynesian model. So. We'll just looking at the. The nausea has crypto was born as a reaction to the two thousand eight financial crisis. We can talk about the you can talk about the positive implications for crypto markets that was kind of interesting. I see I would think that the Qe is will be seen as. Positive full crypto is just that what we expect to happen terms of light hyperinflation and then bitcoin going to the moon that's not been happening. Yeah. And with twelve years into bunkers levels of Qe. So can you speak on that? Yes. So I think to start I think a lot of people in the space very little trust for. Governments. Fans `institutions, which basically set monetary policy and end up printing. new money. It's not out of the world. A lot of the growth of Western economies has come from quantity quantitive easing, fractional, banking, fractional reserve banking, and so what this last to do is Basically. Create new acids new opportunities and and put money into things without having everything directly backed by a piece of gold or some other kind of hard asset Actually what's made it possible for our economy to grow post gold and post slavery as a different model I think we're things run into issues when you create this new money and it goes to a junk so. The Super Leverage Politics that have no real value generating a real value and you get this collapse in believer faith in that in the underlying and as well as claps and faith in the money that represents it, and so truly question of allocation. If you do to easing and give the money to chucky cheese dollars, you're GONNA have a problem if the money goes to space exploration and developing new medical research and helping the poor in a way that is reasonable and actually creates value than you have. Okay. You know banks. Currently, they do publication where their lending out money to people to buy real estate. For example, the recently generating that money themselves and then were getting the money returned to them through. The return of principal plus interest, and so you can basically create and get it back plus some if it's done correctly. So. In terms of its relation to crypto space I mean. In the last twelve years obviously bitcoin his done quite well in the last year or two a little bit more flats. It's tough to I. Think Today we look at like bitcoin why isn't going up more but it's pretty astonishing that it exists at all and that it was able to take flight, and so you know you can kind of see this risk premium or maybe a extra. Now the in the price of all this kind of uncertainty especially the early days of Bitcoin. By quantitative easing or new money helps to move into the space. That I think in terms of the. Performance recently and like its relationship to new money printing in the US, for example. I. Think it's. Very early yet to say, that money hasn't come into the space or you we might have seen a giant collapse so they're not been quantitative easing. It's tough to know what to compare it to necessarily but It's not surprising that there's a bit of lag or not an exact timing of like new dollars per did in twenty cents immediately goes Debbie Bitcoin obviously there could be some time lag. Structure Market. Dynamics. That caused the price do not move exactly the same moment and probably a good thing that it's not completely dependent upon the money supply for the price of Bitcoin number just be another leveraged financial product just like any other make bitcoin anything special unique. Okay. Isn't that the argument though like This there's a delay. In between the creation of new currency and having an impact on prices. And The. Question is I think they'll answerable question about. Eighty degrees of that economic effect. Happens. And be will. No. One can tell how long it takes. To to actually have a real effect on relation. In the the question. Show in the. Bitcoin. World. That's most people are into crypto four and it can be changed. You know technically you can change the rules of the network, but it require mass consensus, which is highly unlikely to ever get past right because the bitcoin would lose its value since that's One of the tenants everyone's into it for so just purely by simplifying it. If. There's a pile of twenty, million bitcoin. The. Ratio a prices ratio between one asset. Another right. So if you trade against US dollars, you have a ratio with dolls and wanted to on the other. And if you took old dollars in existence will bitcoin existence and credit ratio than you've got. A bitcoin price say, right. The Great Escapes with Life Death and Taxonomy

"If you've been staying inside as much as possible these past few months. That's a little easier to do now that the summer heat has fully set in your probably anxious to get out to fly the coop as it were. Animals who can fly should be getting out of zoos all the time. It would stand to reason. Though. usually therein enclosures netting across them, or they've had their wings clipped. That's a process of trimming off birds largest flight feathers, so they can't get enough. Lift when they flap which I'm probably going to end up doing to our backyard chickens if they don't knock off the free ranging. Birds generally stay in captivity pretty well, but of course there are exceptions to the rule or I wouldn't have brought it up. In two thousand, five and African Flamingo managed to get away from the Sedgwick county sue in Kansas. A massive search was launched, but The crabs backup singer was nowhere to be found. Until two thousand thirteen, when he was spotted, six hundred and fifty miles away on the Gulf coast of Texas among a flock of wild local flamingos. Bird watcher named Neil Hayward have been able to confirm the flamingos identity by the numbered band on his leg and offered to help recapture it. The Zoo essentially said I'm not even mad. I'm impressed and told the folks in Texas to leave the Flamingo to his new life with a mate who had herself escaped from a Mexican Nature Reserve. Anyone who's dealt with a parrot knows that they're too clever by half, and that certainly applies to Cuba the mccaw a resident of Vancouver's Zoos Parrot Gardens. Even, though the suet taken all precautions to prevent the parrots from escaping, it seemed that the clever girl was hell bent on getting out. On a pleasant Spring Day in two thousand nine zoo staff had moved the parrots to an outdoor enclosure. A little while later, their headcount came up short. The keepers weren't panicked. All the birds had their wings clipped. So how far could you have gotten? Surprisingly are considering. She hitched a ride in an RV. Juba got into a compartment near the vehicle's Engine Bay and hung out for three days before the family in Rv, found her. Luckily they were on one of the more stationary parts of their vacation and had only gone twenty miles, so it was barely out of their way to take what I'm assuming was a very annoyed parrot back to the zoo. Anyone who's watched? Jailbreak movie knows that you won't get very far without stealing a set of wheels. Try to imagine the end of the great escape without the motorcycles. No good. Even one? The Indian spectacle at the Berlin soon knew that. In two thousand and four, he rode a log across the moat, the rounds, the bear habitat and scaled a wall to freedom. Now that he was out, he had to use this time wisely. I stop the zoos playground. Terrified parents rushed their children away while one had a jolly go on the merry go round and went down the slide. After getting bored of that fairly quickly, one wandered off only to find a bicycle across his path. When he stopped to examine it perhaps to assess it for its usability as a getaway vehicle, the keepers who had put it there were able to track him and carry all three hundred pounds or one hundred and thirty six kilos of air to his habitat. And potentially dangerous could also describe a gator named Chuckie who got loose from the Alabama Gold Coast in two, thousand, four with a little help from Hurricane Ivan. Zookeepers hadn't been able to evacuate the gators and the storm surge destroyed their enclosure, setting them loose. Them meaning plural gators, though only chucky got any real publicity. Rapidly due to the fact that he was twelve feet or three point seven meters long and weighed about half a ton. That makes for better copy. Zoo officials weren't as worried about Chucky, going native, as they were of Chucky, going up to people expecting to be fed as he had for the past fourteen. Here's a situation that could get very ugly very fast. Luckily dedicated alligator retrieval team from gator land in Orlando was able to catch chucky less than a week later. Some animals get by with a little help from their friends or even from strangers. Three kangaroos staged a daring escape from a wildlife park near Frankfurt Germany. The name of whom I am now going to attempt to say. The hawksbill shoot par concert. It is what it is taken early vote. They escaped by going under the fence. Thanks to the work of a Fox and wild boar.

Getting Out Of Prison Sooner

"Alexis Nicholson, has this picture from when she was eight years old, so yeah, this picture means to me I've always had onto even though she's a piece of paper from chucky cheese. It's a picture from her eighth birthday party. There were a lot of people there, but this picture especial to Alexis because it's just her and her Dad Reggie there in a photo booth in their heads are up against each other smiling. Shaky cheese and I. don't really it's hard to talk about. Alexis is Reggie's only daughter. She's twenty five years old now, and she got this picture printed on a pink sweatshirt that she's wearing. I've always been a daddy's girl. You know what I mean so I've I've always been close to him? Even though he's always been far away, I guess you could say her. Dad was arrested not too long after that birthday party when he was just twenty five years old, according to transcripts, the police had shown up at Reggie's house in Oklahoma City because it's home. Burglary alarm had gone off Reggie wasn't home for it, but when he got there, his door was left, wide open and police were waiting outside. They had responded to the alarm. And Reggie told the cops they could go in look around, and while they were looking around, they found a shoebox with some drugs, money and a gun inside. And they arrested Reggie. I do remember when I got told. My grandma beats me up from school. And She was just like they got you. In I knew I knew she was talking to Bellboy at. Believe is so I asked her I said who I said WHO has she? The police do. The police found six hundred and thirty five grams of crack cocaine in the shoebox, which is a decent amount it would be like to soda worth of crack a little over a pound enough to be considered trafficking. This was in two thousand and three now. If you were caught with this exact amount of drugs today in Oklahoma. The most prison time you could get is twenty years so a long time. But the laws were much harsher back then, especially, because Reggie had been caught with drugs twice before, and that combination to drug convictions plus a trafficking conviction it carried one sentence and one sentence only the rest of your life at the trial. The prosecutor told the jury that life meant. They could give reggie a million years if they wanted. Mercy is for people who don't commit one crime. After another, the prosecutor said mercy he said is for the innocent. The jury gave Reggie Life in prison without the possibility of ever getting out, that was mandatory, but then the jury added another one, thousand, six hundred and fifty years after life, even though that's impossible, and even though he didn't do anything violent. For Lexus it was like she had to mourn. A living person is different from see somebody in a casket versus going to a prison in. You can't leave with the person that you WANNA. Leave with this breathing that the person has life. You know what I mean. This impossibly long sentence came out at a time when Democrats and Republicans were trying to top each other how tough they could be on crime especially on drugs, and even more especially on crack. They said someone like Reggie's should never come out but this. After seventeen years behind bars, reggie got the chance to do something. He never imagined he'd be able to. Your original Nicholson Nicholson Junior. Mr Nicholson. Could you give me your? Number please Sir Reggie got the chance to ask to be considered to be released from prison one day. Even though he was told, this would never be a possibility, but here he is before April board about to make his case. You recognize these folks. Asserts mom this. Magadan okay great they've this was in February. We were able to be there for this. For Reggie's parole hearing his whole family showed up off my dad. Also I didn't see this big back. That's my day her. For All in small conference room at a prison in Oklahoma City. Reggie's the only one appearing by video screen. Nicholson. Would you raise your right hand, please? Swear the testimony you will be before the board will be the true. This hearing was almost impossible to imagine twenty years ago and Reggie didn't get this opportunity because his case stood out. It didn't standout. Reggie dot before this board, because lawmaker said maybe we went too far, not just with Reggie with a lot of people.

The Show Must Go On: Wrestlemania Is Still Happening

"In the WWE. That is we say what our jobs are. Every day is to put smiles on people's faces all over the globe and we truly believe that and then this time maybe more than any other in in my memory people need those smiles right now more than anything that's WWE executive vice president. Paul Leveque better known as triple h talking about the decision to move forward with this weekend's wrestlemainia thirty six. It's the closest thing to live sports. That's happened in a wild but with no fans permitted the arena and concerns over the safety of the wrestlers and staff. What will the showcase of the immortals look like in the age of Corona virus? I mean at times. It's Friday April third this. Espn daily Greg. You're ready to talk wrassling. Damn Right Excel it talking about sports with funny named people trying to punch each other in the face. Greg Luzinski is a senior writer for. Espn you can check out. Lapsed Fan's guide to wrestlemainia on. Espn DOT COM. Yeah actually I wanted to ask you think. Most people know your name from hockey. How long have you been on the Wrestlemainia beat my wrestling a Bona Fides? Go back to when I was a we child watching Hulk Hogan and the more cartoonish W. F. which really sort of capture my heart as you know through the decades there have been times where it's been okay to say a wrestling fan and then sometimes when they've you don't mention it to a lot of people. I think we're in an okay dimension it part of wrestling right now. We're sort of a necessary to mentioned it portion because there's nothing else going on and wrestling is somehow improbably still happening. How is this even occurring? Well the way it's been occurring for the W. E. and their competition. A W which Ariza. Tnt network is that they've been holding shows in empty facilities but for me that means holding their weekly television programs raw and smackdown at the W. E. Performance Center a training facility in Orlando and what they've been doing literally holding it inside of an Empty Gymnasium. I'm the game triple agent. I would like to personally. Welcome you to the. Wwe Performance Center now. This show will be different from anything you've ever seen before. Sit Back Relax. And if you can't forget about the world around you and let. Wwe Do what we do. Let us put a smile on your face to start. That was a little bit awkward because the wrestlers would come out and they would look to the crowd. That wasn't there and they would do all of the usual pantomime they would do to get the fans excited except there was no fans getting excited. You see it doesn't matter if there's ten thousand fans at their zero fans because this is how I I remember that can only way I could describe it as it's like when you're at chucky cheese and the animatronic band starts playing into an empty room. It's still playing. It's still doing. Its own thing. But there's nobody that Iraq to it and that was like the first couple of weeks of this and also they've been utilizing more space around the performance center lake attacks in the parking lot and stuff like that to try to make it feel more than just trying to recreate something inside of an empty room derailed. Me With that chucky cheese analogy this. It's the it's the rock afire explosion ban. Greg get it right. There's nothing better than being in an empty room with the rock afire. Explosion Band and just hearing the gears clunk together. It's jarring but also satisfying so wrestlemainia. Thirty six is happening on Saturday. What was the original plan for the event the original plan was to hold wrestlemainia? Thirty six at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and this was going to be a huge event for those who don't know it's not just simply wrestlemainia. Inside of a stadium. It is an entire city being overrun by. Wwe events you have the Access Fan Festival you have the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony. Where wrestlers of old honored and put into a virtual hall of fame. Physical building doesn't exist quite yet and then also after Wrestlemainia the next day on Monday. It's tradition to hold Monday night raw in that same city so this isn't just simply one event on a on a on a Saturday night for The city of Tampa. It was a whole citywide sort of celebration for wrestling as of March. Third The W. E. and Tampa's mayor said there were no plans to postpone the event the W. E. said look the health safety of our fans and performance of our top priorities. But we remain committed to hosting Wrestlemainia at Raymond. James Stadium fast forward to March twelfth. Now you have Hillsborough County's commissioner less Miller saying he'll probably have to cancel wrestlemainia if the. Wwe doesn't make the decision itself because of the virus pandemic governor Rod Santa's that points that cities and counties should cancel mass gatherings over the next thirty days and so it was becoming a worse than worse. Look for W. E. to keep wrestlemainia scheduled framing Jamie Stadium on March sixteenth. They made the decision not to have upwards of sixty five seventy thousand people come to a stadium during a virus outbreak and instead moved into their performance center in Orlando. It's a two night event April fourth and April Fifth. How has wwe justified or explained their decision to go on with us? Well there's the public explanation and then there's the assumed explanation that the public explanation according to the WWe is that it is for the fans the fans are the lifeblood of the organization it is a panacea the fans to be able to hold this event. It is going to give them some comfort in a time of confusion and trouble. It's also going to be arrested for the performers themselves who you know are looking for some direction or looking for some focus in life during uncertain times. And that's sort of the the public explanation for this. If you know about the wrestling business you know that part of this is the fact that story lines that are going to have their big payoff. At wrestlemainia are a month long process. All the story lines all the action. They all run through. Vince McMahon they are on one track. And they're going to stay on that track through hell or high water. These are storylines narratives that the W has been planning to wrap up in culminate at Wrestlemainia happens every year and then they kind of moved to new stuff after that so from a function process to have wrestlemainia occur and wrap up which are the signature feuds and storylines of their season. If you will was a pretty important thing was there any blowback to all of this. Yeah I think there has been some in the rest in wrestling circles amongst wrestling reporters and and amongst the fans wondering okay. We are looking around the sports world. We're looking around the entertainment world. We're seeing literally every pro league every concert tour Disney on ice everything canceling out of concern about corona virus and yet professional wrestling roles on as a weekly television product so there is a bit of confusion. There're two why this continues while every other facet of sports entertainment seems to have stopped. What about amongst the wrestlers did any of them have reservations about participating in this one particular did so wrestler by the name of Roman reigns one of the bigger stars and WWe had a very highly publicized battle with leukemia? He left in October. Two thousand eighteen returned to WWE IN FEBRUARY. Two thousand nine thousand nine hundred and he's compromised so news started to break recently through some of the quote unquote dirt sheets in wrestling. The ones who report the rumor. Innuendo that Roman reigns was not going to be participating in his scheduled match against Goldberg for the Universal Championship at Wrestlemainia. Wwe basically said hey look. This is understandable situation. The health and safety of our performers paramount Sakiz. The biggest name that we know will not be participating but quite frankly until we see what events they air this weekend we won't know who else may have decided to pull out or had to be quarantined or any of that nature because they're being very clandestine about what the card will actually be the first wrestlemainia. That's taking place over multiple nights. It's also the first wrestlemainia that is going to be completely pretaped. So when did they take this weekend's event and what steps did they take to ensure the safety of the wrestlers in the people working on it? It's been a race against time for me. As I mentioned the performance center is in Orlando Florida Orlando Florida. Recently issued a stay at home order March twenty sixth that really closed out all the essential businesses. Just like we've seen all over the country so the WBZ has been racing. It's time to not only record wrestlemainia matches but also record. Future television matches programming as well as far as the safety of the wrestlers. It is a closed control facility. Stephanie McMahon the daughter of owner Vince McMahon who is the brand manager for WWe said to variety. Recently there's extensive testing screening. When you first come into the facility regardless of whether you're a talent crew member or anyone else if you have a temperature taken and you have a temperature over a hundred point four degrees you're automatically asked to leave also any wrestlers de out of the country or in contact anybody who's been out of the country you're not actually allowed to enter the facility. Either so they are taking some safety measures as far as trying to make sure anyone exhibiting symptoms isn't allowed in the facility or anyone who might have been exposed to corona virus through travel or relationships isn't allowed in the facility. Which is you know what you see from other companies as well but obviously there's no way to be sure without Virus testing whether anybody actually has the center of city so they tape this before the stay at home order. Does that mean this is going to be the last big event like this or is this something they're going to keep on doing? There is a lot of sort of mystery as to how these wrestling organizations are going to continue to keep on doing their thing. I'm not sure what the regulations mean for the performance in Orlando. I don't know if this is GonNa be it for their use facility or not. I can't tell you that. Eighty w their competition with also filming inside of an empty facility in Florida's well and there was news this week that they're gonNA be taking their show to some undisclosed to record matches going forward so I don't know if it's GonNa be a shell game where these companies have to start going to the few places around the country that don't have restrictions in place or what have you. But it's clear from both cases that even though they're putting a bunch of their product in the bag right now in our taping matches and episodes for future use on television. The show apparently is going to go on

How Does Saturn Work?

How Does Saturn Work?

"The Planet Saturn takes its name from a Roman God of agriculture and of all the planets revolve around our sun. It's cultivated if you will the greatest ring system by far shining rings filled with ice dust and rock orbit its equator. The whitest one called the phoebe ring has an outer edge. That's millions of miles away from Saturn itself. For comparison the average distance between Earth and our moon is a paltry two hundred thirty nine thousand miles or three hundred eighty four thousand kilometers once again. Astronomy PUTS THE HUMAN EGO IN CHECK. Saturn's rings get all the attention but we shouldn't ignore its other attributes the sixth planet in our solar system. It's also the biggest after Jupiter. Those two are in a league of their own. If you mushed every planet from Mercury to Neptune together Saturn and Jupiter would account for over ninety percent of the cumulative mass of that planetary mass but despite its immense size Saturn is the least dense planet in the sun's orbit and the spherical to. We'll need to look at. Its physical makeup to understand why research published in two thousand nineteen showed that a day on Saturday and lasts just ten hours thirty three minutes and thirty eight seconds. It's spin rate helps explain one of the ring. World's stranger qualities is he. Saturn is ten percent wider than it is tall. A difference of over seven thousand miles or nearly twelve thousand kilometers. Astronomers call that kind of disparity an equatorial bulge every planet in the solar system has one but Saturn's is the most extreme saturn rotates around its axis at a very high speed. Hence the brevity stays. And here's where density comes into play like. Jupiter Saturn is a gas giant such worlds predominantly consists of hydrogen and helium and whereas Earth is solid on. The outside gas. Giants are not they may however have hard intercourse now. Saturn is downright huge in terms of volume. Some seven hundred sixty four earth sized objects could fit inside of it and the planet is ninety five times as massive as our home world and yet relative to its size. Earth is eight times more dense. In fact water yes. Plain water is denser them Saturn although that doesn't mean the planet would float. It's not cohesive enough so thanks to its low. Low density zippy rotational. Speed Saturn's been deformed into a oblong world that looks kind of squished in profile Jupiter's southern hemisphere famously has an ongoing storm called the great. Red Spot Saturn's answer to. This is the great white spots which are periodic tempests that arise every twenty thirty Earth Years I detected in eighteen seventy six. These weather events are colossal scale ness as Cassini spacecraft spent thirteen productive years hovering around Saturn on December fifth of two thousand ten. It witnessed the most recent iteration of the great white spot phenomenon. The storm was about eight hundred miles by sixteen hundred miles long when it first began. That's about thirteen hundred twenty five hundred kilometers but over the next six months. The spot expanded Longitudinal early until it had looped itself around the planet in a gigantic circle. Some researchers think the great white spots might be part of a cycle that sees the outer layer Saturn's atmosphere slowly lose heat allowing the warm air from lower levels to burst upward. Meanwhile Saturn's North Pole. There's a cloud pattern shaped like giant hexagon. This pleasantly symmetrical jet stream spins counterclockwise measures about twenty thousand miles or thirty two thousand kilometers across and includes a hurricane. That's been swirling right over the poll ever since it was discovered back in Nineteen eighty-eight. Of course it's not the hexagon earned Saturday. A place on. Chucky festers T. shirt you know from rugrats anyway. The gas giant is most famous for the spectacular ring system encircling it a planetary rings aren't rare per se Jupiter Uranus and Neptune. Have the well yet. In terms of sheer scale network around Saturn is totally unrivaled. Most of the primary rings come with letter names. The closest one to Saturn is called the D ring which has an inner radius of about forty two thousand miles or sixty seven thousand kilometers a lot closer than our moon. It's surrounded by these C B A F G and earrings in that order by the way. The rings aren't arranged Alphabetically. Because the naming system reflects the dates of their discovery Abmc recited before the rest when measured from its outside edge. The earring showcases an impressive. Three hundred thousand mile radius or four hundred and eighty thousand kilometers. Or at least that looks impressive until you get to know the big bad fearing that. We mentioned earlier. I spotted in two thousand nine. This one was named after one of Saturn's moons untold trillions of ice rock dust particles. Make up these rings. Some bits are the size of a sugar grain. Others could probably Dwarf Your House in any case. The ring material is stretched. Remarkably thin Saturn's rings may be as thick as two miles or kilometers wide. Found just thirty two feet or ten meters wide so proportionately. The gas giants iconic rings thinner than a typical sheet of writing paper as noted by Astronomer. Phil plait whereas Saturn itself is probably around four point five billion years old. The age of its rings isn't as clear. Some scientists think that they were formed ten million to a hundred million years ago when an icy comet or some ice covered moons came too close to the planet. The visitor or visitors would have met a grisly end. Getting ripped to pieces by Saturn's gravity as those fragments collided they grew smaller and multiplied giving rise to the skinny but brilliant system. We all know today on the other. Hand a twenty. Nineteen paper argued that the rings might have originated at an earlier stage in the history of our solar system. We'll have to see how the debate unfolds as new evidence arises. There's lots about this planet that we're still learning in October of two thousand. Nineteen the international astronomical. Union heralded the discovery of twenty newfound moons orbiting the gas giant with these bodies added to the mix. There are now eighty two verified. Saturn moons altogether no other planet in the solar system has that many natural satellites not even mighty Jupiter. You can find Saturn's moons in around and beyond the ring system before Cassini was retired in two thousand seventeen it revealed that some of them gather clumps of ice and dust. From the Rings Saturn's Moon Titan is especially well-named it's our solar system second-biggest moon overall and it's dotted with seas lakes and rivers of liquid methane and pain. There's only one other body within the Sun's orbit that has standing pools of liquid that we know about. And here's a hint. You're sitting on it right now. Tighten is also noteworthy for having an atmosphere and it's theorized that there could be ice volcanoes that spew water instead of lava like Earth Saturn gets auroras at its poles. They're invisible to the unaided human eye. But the Cassini spacecraft and the Hubble Space Telescope have captured footage of them using infrared and ultraviolet

Summer Movie Preview

"The movies of summer twenty nineteen. What is out there? What's going to happen? And I've got to start by saying you think maybe that summer begins on your calendar near the end of June. But not in Hollywood everything in Hollywood begins early because summer is when they make all the money that they can make all year. So officially April twenty six it's the beginning of summer because the movie that opens on that day is called a ventures endgame. This is three hours long. Nobody's gonna care. I predict that not only will this be the biggest box office hit of the summer, but it will be the biggest box office hit of the year. You remember what happened last time all the ventures or at least half of them seem to turn to dust than die mean? Now have those ventures that are left to signing if they can beat the evil fan. He so evil will the adventures be wiped out forever. Look how much money did these movies make I'm saying why would you basically kill the golden goose? This is going to continue in some way, we all know it. So what else is out there? I'm looking at my list. There's a major thing going on now of in terms of taking the Disney slash Pixar animated classics and turning them into live action movies. So we have The Lion King line king. One of the most successful Disney animated movies ever is now being done as a live action movie. You have Donald Glover being Simba. You have James Earl Jones actually being this father and the same scores. They're the same using. And it's directed by John Fabbro who did such a great job with the jungle book doing the same thing that I think we can all feel optimistic about what's going to happen. And then we have Aladdin when we remember the. Animated movie who do we remember the most? We remember Robin Williams doing the voice of the genie. This time doing the voice of the genie and being the genie. We have Will Smith. So big stars in this big kind of thing, they tried it with Dumbo earlier this year, and that didn't quite work the way they wanted to do. But we're talking about lying king and the Ladan so big deal. Now, what terms of old fashioned animation is out there. I don't know if you're like me. But there's a Toy Story four toy stories always been my favorite of those Pixar. There's something about Woody and buzz light year, and you're probably saying to yourself. Well, and Toy Story three didn't it happen. That would he said goodbye, Andy. And he went to college, and it was all over remember. There was little Bonnie Andy gave his toys too. So we're going to have little Bo peep comeback. I think when you look at what goes on in Toy Story, you have that kind of feeling of goodness of field. Goodness, but done with all the magic of Pixar. So if those adventures out there are going to have a run for their box office money. I would say Toy Story. Four is going to be the one that does it. So what else we now have men in black men in black international? You're not gonna see Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones anymore. But this time you have Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson. As new agents who are out there in this men in black universe. Sometimes you say to yourself do I want more of that? And you never know to actually see it. And I can only tell because I haven't seen this movie yet. But it looks like there's chemistry there. Then we have Spiderman far from home. You know, the Spiderman franchise never seems to end either. But we have Tom Holland who played him last time charmingly, I think, but now spider man, Peter Parker. They're taking a European vacation and the villain that they run up against is mysterious. Played by Jake Jilin. All I just think they're still some special sauce in the Spiderman universe, and I expect this one to also be a major hit. Godzilla Godzilla king of the monsters. I see that. And I go how much can they work this poor God's, but you can look at the trailer and see it. I like the idea that aside from viewer for Megan who is in it, Billy Bobby Brown from stranger things is in its she the dynamo. So if God Zillah can basically meet his match betting on little Millie to do something with that Hobbes and Shaw, this is fast and the furious you remember the rock of playing the the law man, and Jason stefon playing the outcast and the rebel these guys. I don't know if this is Hollywood kind of thing, but they tell us that Jason stadium and the rocked wing Johnson. Don't really like each other. And maybe that what the reason we love these characters and show so much because we liked that conflict. I don't know it seems a PR stunt to me, but I'm going to be there because this cars. There's the rock and their Stefa. So you're going to be there to and you know, it, oh and the big deal. Now, everybody has just in the midst of welcoming game of thrones back to their lives. The last season of that. You can't bear to live in a world where you can't see the stark sisters anymore. Well, now, you can dark Phoenix, which is part of the X men universe. Bring Sophie Turner, and she's Jean grey this character that we've seen before. But she's this younger version of her and she split between the good side of her and the dark Phoenix side of her. And to me, these girls are tremendously talented in what they do on game of thrones. And I think we're going to keep seeing them through the years, but her sister her at least game of thrones sister, maisy Williams is in new mutants part of that universe too. But in this case, they're all new characters to do this. They're all gonna be in the X men universe. Doing it. So that's it for the blockbusters that are out there. You've got everything from animation to comic book characters to everything. And that's the stuff that you hear about that your friends are going to talk to you about. But there's gotta be other stuff to part of summer is comedy of. I think we all really have gone through a long winter. And we're saying make us laugh give us something that will just make say, whatever. I can just sit back and not think. So what's there for that? There's a movie called longshot. This is a movie in which Charlotte Theran is playing the secretary of state who is running for president. But falling Manley in love with who staff throw in. Okay. It's like, a beauty and the beasts thing going on here. Seth Rogan is her speechwriter all of her people say what are you doing? You're going to destroy your career. But no, it's love. And if you don't laugh at the combination of Seth Rogan, Charlie staring. There's nothing left for you. And then we have the hustle. The hustle is a movie that used to be called dirty run scoundrels where the old days it was about conman. Now, it's con- women. They're played by Anne Hathaway and rebel Wilson. And they basically go all cross the continent finding rich people whose money they can steal pretty people. Glamour? What's wrong with that? Oh, book smart. This is directed by the actress Olivia Wilde, and it's about girls graduating from high school and saying we spent all our lives with our head in the books. Everybody else is going to parties and having fun. So they're going to do that beanie Feldstein plays one of them. She is the sister of Jonah hill and real life and Jona hill did super bad. This is kind of the women's version of super bad everything in it works, like a charm. You're really going to like that one. Then we have a movie called late night. This is about the TV talk show world and Emma Thompson plays. Probably the only woman on late night TV who hosts her own show, but she's got only men on her writing staff, and then she hires Mindy Kaeling who also wrote the screenplay of this movie, very very funny about what happens when you put women into what basically has been. A male bass they end of doing this. And the combination of Mindy king writing for the great Emma Thompson and watching them perform together is just so you've got to see that one to my favorite kind of thing. The dead. Don't die. You've got to admit that is a great and funny title. It comes from the indie, directing great, Jim Jarmusch. And it's cut people like Bill Murray and Adam driver by zombies. Okay. If Bill Murray is going to go out there and get laughs. Sizing up zombies. I'm going to be there watching him do it. So we have a good chance for laughs horror. I've got to talk about it now because it's not just the Cajun. Oh movie harm movie that makes money any makes people talk and get happy. It's they're everywhere. Now child's play do you? Remember the old child's play movies where you had Chucky. The crazy nut doll that. Always terrified me. Just. This doll who looks kind of little bit weird and freckly, but he has a voice on him like a longshoreman guess who's doing the west now of Chucky Marquel? Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker. And from what I've seen of it in. It's just been a little bit of it. It's wonderfully malevolent, so I'm going to be there to see that one. Then there's Annabel comes home. Another doll another possess doll also part of the conjuring universe where a viewer for Megan Patrick Wilson. Or the demon knowledge is that tried to make sure that nothing bad can come of this horrible doll Annabelle, but Bill will destroy and I will be there to watch her. Do it then them that follow their certain titles that get me them that follow really gets me? And it's about a snake handling church in Appalachia. No, they there are there colts. And they're almost religious cult where people pray. But they have the snakes, and they hold the life thinks pass them on. And you're thinking, what are you tell me about this like CD movie Har movie will guess who the star of this movie is the freshly minted Oscar winner Ogilby Coleman from the favourite, she's tossing those snakes around so irresistible. I think you're gonna love it. Then there's the Nightingale. See it's does not stop. It's har- everywhere. The night and gas from the director, Jennifer Kent who did a thing a couple of years ago called the baba Duke, which gave millions of people nightmares. And now she's back there following a woman who is chasing a convict got to be hooked. And then midsummer midsummer directed by REI Astor who last year gave us hereditary with Toni Collette, a really scary movie. Now, it's at a nine day Swedish holiday where everybody celebrates. But they'll be no celebrating after this one. So we. Got a lot of stuff out there. That's just going to scare us witless. And I couldn't be happier. All right. When summer comes. We think of all the things I've just talked to you about blockbusters comedy horror action, the rock of everything is there, but every even in a season like this. It's all about money and getting us into our theater, there are those movies that can come out entertain us. And also will hear about them at the end of the year when the Oscar nominations come out and the number one movie on that list, and the one that I haven't seen anything of India's of anyone that saw even anything past the trailer is called once upon a time in Hollywood it is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino its stars in order to Capri, oh as a TV star on the wane in Los Angeles. And Brad Pitt as his stunt double whoever thought of

Hollywood Pixar Megan Patrick Wilson Bill Murray Seth Rogan Will Smith Robin Williams Emma Thompson Bonnie Andy Disney James Earl Jones Chucky Marquel Phoenix Donald Glover Oscar Brad Pitt Chris Hemsworth Olivia Wilde John Fabbro
