"I wrote back, he says this shouldn't need to be explained, I write, especially by you. So he goes, okay, this big sarcastic okay, and then I just said to him, read what you said and your original tweet, Jesus, you know. He's talking about someone who shouldn't kill just because they committed a crime. He said that, not me. He writes back. Learn verb tenses. Oh, there you go. He's lost the ark. And now he's got a lecture me like a freaking English. Learn for tenses. Have committed, quote, isn't the same as, quote, was committing. Learn the difference between someone pulled over for an air freshener and someone trying to attack people. Learned that tweets can't get into much detail, so they rely on applying basic common sense to understand. He says to me. Can I ask a question? So I say to him, okay, sorry, go ahead. My apologies. I said, you're a smug asshole. And you're wrong. Learn that. I'm not overly familiar with the Kim Potter situation. I know the broad tricks, what happened? Was he fleeing? What was the, what was going on in that instant? Well, he had out of date plates and an air freshener, which you're not supposed to have. But his plates were false. They weren't short sure. But then they ran the guy. And he had a felony warrant. And so they try to arrest him and he tried to flee. Okay, so isn't that committing a crime? Yes. So they were both killed in the commission of a crime. You go? Yeah. You can't do that. That's weird. So anyway, this guy here, and I don't normally pick on people from Twitter because they say dumb shit and so do I but this guy's like attacking the whole concept of the argument behind comparing the two cases. This type of bullshit, and I'm probably more likely on that guy signed than I am your side. Ideologically. But this is that type of horseshit response and everything like that and these equivalency. This is why we can't get anywhere. We can't move forward at all, 'cause no one wants to have the honest side of it. No one else actually talks about the context. And say, oh, well, this happened. What about this? What the fuck does that have to do with this? We're trying to solve this over here. But when I said unless your name is Ashley babbitt, I was just bringing up another case where someone got shot. You know, while committing a crime. Yeah. Anyway, that's all I was trying to do. Awful across the board. And the guy was being a dick. I think to me, so I said, you know, it's screw you. So I do a blocked. That's the probably should have done that. When I four and just said, I don't need to have this conversation because this person via social media. I don't know who this fucking person is, but you know what? I should have under my profile. When my profile says whatever, you know, Mikey Adams four 20, then it says it says, yeah, so what? Like that's my basic attitude, you know? Yeah. So what I should put under there is, yeah, so what? I block assholes. But you just block assholes and I automatically and I don't make any bones about if you're an asshole, I block you. If you're great guy friend, whatever smart person, I follow you, or I don't block you, but if you're an asshole, why should I take any shit from you? It was more fun to mute people because at least when you block them, they kind of get that satisfaction like, yeah, I got to them. And if you move them, they just pepper messages that you never get a response because you don't see them. But other people can see them, right? I don't know. If you mute them, who cares? You can't see them as the only thing that matters. Well, I don't want my aunt to see them. Twitter. No, I'm just kidding. I don't care about it. I don't care what she sees. So I got, okay, let me just do my checklist. I talked pistachios. Yes. Ocular migraine grains. Pickles, pickle sickle cells. The drunken lift car. Yep. The dickhead on Twitter. Yep. I have next Gordy house stories. Gorgeous. Now you guys aren't big hockey fans, but you obviously know who mister hockey is. Of course. Gordie Howe. The great Gordie Howe I'm doing a play by play of a whaler, alumni game. Oh. And gordie was on the team. Against the hockey coaches from Enfield Connecticut. They fancy themselves as pretty good players. They were coaches, former players, and these hockey coaches from infield had this. They had a big rink there, too. Twin hockey rinks were Craig Jenny and all these other guys made their bones. So this was a big charity game, and it's chuck Kate and the voice of the whalers. Trying to kill this music. There you go. I needed I needed the actual atmosphere going. Couldn't even cover everybody. From a Hartford stomach center with whaler hockey. Chuck's a great guy. So he and I are doing the play by play for this cable vision bob telecast. Of this charity game. So one guy on the infield tote twin ranks team. Gordie Howe has the puck. This guy grabs Gordie Howe. He grabs Gordie Howe by the shirt. And he skates him into the boards and gordie like reaches over, shoots the puck to Peterson and he scores, Gordon hand on the guy's shirt and he's got one hand on the stick and he shoots the puck over to the guy. The guy scores, and then gordie turns around. They both grab each other in that locked lock up position where they face to face. The famous hockey position. Chuck Kate says, I'm not sure that guy knows that he just locked up with Gordon how. And Gordy's just looking at him. I'm like, do you really want to do this? You know, with all due respect, he's Gordie Howe. He's a guy, you know how old is he at this point? 56. He wasn't in his prime, though. 20 years out of his prime. 30 years out of his prime. And it was just the guy finally realized it came to his senses and let go. Because what are you doing? That's the old pulling on Superman's cape thing. You know, was spinning tearing the mask off the old lone ranger. Spitting in the wind. Spitting into the wind. It's nice like Bernard Patrick Conan. Yes, absolutely. He's pitching the wind every time he sent anything with acetone. So Gordy was just taking so gordie was very, very funny guy. He had all kinds of he was one of my favorite people ever. So my son were following around Wayne Gretzky as he's trying to break Gordy's record and he comes to the hard for civic center. And so gordie was going everywhere he went because 801 goals as soon as that's breaking these new all time scoring champ. So my son Scott and I are waiting outside the locker room and here comes Gretzky and my son's wearing a 99 LA kings Gretzky shirt. And he gets in front of Gretzky, who didn't like crouch. As he's making his way to the bus signs the shirt, Wayne Gretzky, two minutes later, out comes Gordy. I said, Gordy, come over here, make this shirt worth something. You know, I wanted to get both signatures on it. So he comes over. He turns my son around, which they always do in the sign in the back of the shirt. And he signs his neck. Gordon Howe on his neck and he starts to walk away. I said, what are you doing? He came back and signed this shit, but that's just thought that was really, really, really good. So when you tried to fight him, I said, you pussy. I played golf with him. You know, so many times, he's a wonderful, funny guy. I was doing a special with him, the three toughest holes in Connecticut. So I came running up and I said, I don't know what happened. I hit that ball in the.

"Way are back on America's four. Oh, one k showing, consumer advocate Steve said All Chuck Kate in this here, of course, Coach Pete the Rutas. Well, having a great conversation today, coach is gonna tell us Phyllis in on one of the other things. We talked about way at the beginning of the show, but not yet. But right now, though, let's talk about you know, we've been talking about some pretty important stuff today, and I think that that's really what E think that's so important for people to hear. But coach What's what? What's your gut telling you? What are people telling you about how they're feeling about their retirement? Their finances all that today? Well, it it just seems the flavor of the day seems to always pop up each year. There's something new with everybody runs over toe. Try to get into and doesn't want to get left behind, and many people get socks. When they do that. They put money in places they have no idea which way started the show. Talking about crypto currency and And how I have really can't give an opinion on because there's so many different coins out there and somebody different tokens of coins. Whatever they call it, you never get a token or coin. But you you're buying a token, a coin. That's Elektronik and people are making money. People also losing money to be very careful about that again. If it's money you can afford to lose, and that's a big definition. Because a lot of people tell me they can afford to lose the money. And then they'll start with telling me about how their broker lost money on him or whatever I said, Well, you told me you could afford to lose that. Well, not when I actually happens. It's not a fun anymore. So we need to make sure you really defined in ourselves. What risk means to us And what what kind of money we really can't afford to lose. I don't want to lose any money and I don't care if it's my I've heard people say, Well, I was a profit anyway. It wasn't really my money. Yeah, As soon as you make it, it's your money. It's even if the profit that could have been your money for you to liquidate the truck. Yeah, that's right and things with its absolutely It's psychological to tell yourself It's okay like you're trying to make it feel like put a band aid on the problem right there, But to me, it's just we have to be very careful. And then we went when we also talked about how banks they're approaching from a different angle, lowering your credit ability to borrow. I could taking your credit card women down from 50,000 and how well if you're not charging that much money, it doesn't seem to hurt but it does hurt your credit. Score The long run, So these are all things that add up. It's like putting one little log on the fire won't make it into for no, but it'll help it get there. So we have to be very careful then that's that fire of knowledge needs to spread and you need to be in control. Of your fire of knowledge instead of having the fire of knowledge. Wrapped around you and you don't know what's going on. Does that happen? A lot of time, Steve. We're here about like all sudden news. It's all about the crypto currencies and we're not in it, so we run and try to get in it, But we do the wrong thing. So that's not a good strategy. We need to Take a methodical approach, like a like a five star general would do planning a battle. He doesn't just send troops over there. He has a plan for what he's going to do next. It's like playing chess and many people in the financial world. Unfortunately, you're playing checkers. And the people with the money. You're playing chess. And so they're thinking way ahead and they're putting you in all sorts of traps would be very careful. Saw this happen when? It's like playing chess and many people in the financial world, Unfortunately or playing checkers. When the people with the money you're playing chess, and so they're thinking way ahead. And they're putting you in all sorts of traps would be very careful. Saw this happen when? When the crypto currencies all all went down for a couple days when you all must. Muska had three meals instead of 21 day or something like that. What people think it was something silly like that He tweeted something right. And then it just make you better go haywire. So to make you someone said, Well, he can't get in trouble for doing that, Kenny. I said Well if he is benefiting by talking down Some securities like Bitcoins and all that, And he says, it's bad neighbor and everyone sales and then if you want must jumps in and buys after he talked bad made everyone sell to me that you'd go to jail for that. That's manipulating that's like you can't come out and say, You know, Apple Apple sucks. You know, like some big wig guy saying Apple Apple computer stinks of a sell their stock And the minute and one sales. He's there. He's the guy in the bottom buying. All right,.

Steve 50,000 Pete the Ruedas Apple Kate today 21 day Kenny Muska five star this year each year one Phyllis three meals minute lot of people days one sales one little

"That means when the market goes down market goes up and down all around by the way and We don't look at political events and we don't we don't try to trade on that. You become a day trader. You end up losing money. That's hotel bars done studies del bars in the agency and that right outside of Boston, Mass. And they study investor behavior and fear and greed of the two biggest emotions to get everyone in trouble. There's something called foam. Oh, that I've heard my daughter say, fear of missing out? Sure. So you see a start going up like crazy. Well, you don't wanna be right behind you Jump in and the day you jump in Everyone who's already in decides to sell on Then what happens it goes down and so we can't invest like that. But they're all bar said that the average investor that does start to try to day trade or trade on news. That kind of thing ends up making about two times less. Then someone an index fund. Wow. So if an index fund is performing like 8%, you finally make about 4%. Now, these are just numbers and some people do great When you go to Vegas is always somebody winning. And there are a whole bunch of people that are people, right. Well, you hear about like the joke here, My family was my brother. Bob used to go to Vegas three times a year. And once every four years you call and tell me how good he's doing. Eggs. Simple. Man says he wasn't doing that good. If he was he'd have a private jet. By now. Many times he's gone. There has done real good, but we don't hear about the bad, Sure, just like market You always hear about the good pics, but you never hear about the bad picks are a lot of bad picks out there so big assure you have that proper diversification and you're in the right place. That's what we do in our three meeting process with you, and that's what the Golden ticket entitles you to is $1000 value. But if you call right now we'll open the phone lines right now You'll get this little green Book of life. But you get that golden ticket which is more valuable anything right now in these days, Absolutely that number to call 806 617383 800. 6617383 or you can text the word plan to 21,000 plan to 21000. I love this conversation. Because it is true. You do so much behind the scenes when you're helping folks prepare for retirement. You got that fear report. Attacks. Analysis. The Social Security review the inflation plan, the long term care of you, I could keep going on and on. At the end of the day, though, the total income plan eyes a big focus of this is well, Thomas has been paying attention. Yes, he has. Well, the most important parts, I think, are the income bridge. All right. What's what's in income Bridget's going from when you're getting income from your employer toe. When you get in income from yourself. You have to bridge the income because what you're used to making a salary when you retire. Basically this hour's gonna eventually stop. Isn't it? Sure. And so when it stops, something else has to start back up. It's like a relay race. All right, so the guy ran real good around the track in the hands of baton off and the other guys not ready yet. He's smoking a cigarette. Not good, everyone That wouldn't be the guy in the relay race anyway. It's like the horse race with a big fat jockey of me. Which witch doctor, you're gonna bet on the skinny one or the fat one. I'm going little going little well, and it's kind of sad to say that a lot of people are trying to hand that baton off to Social Security. Who's probably more like the guy smoking. You should a twist. You know, he's gonna walk around the track. Or you need somebody running around the track every single year. The rest your life, and you don't need somebody falling down right when you need him, the most sure, And I think a lot of people out there coach are thinking, okay, I've got Social security. That's my net. That's not always the case. No, you're right. And so longevity risk we talk about to Social Security will pay some bills. But the longer we live, the more the bills are gonna be. Just because things get more expensive, and we get less healthy. Yeah, it's a fact of life, isn't it? And so we just need to make sure that if you are in the process or you or you or you are saying yourself right now you're seeing yourself. It's time for me to protect my retirement. Make sure my family safe then this is definitely the time to call and make sure you have the right plan put together and so We also I've got another desk here. Chuck Kate. Neither chuck it in the Hall of Fame broadcaster for the Carolina Hurricanes free, I think, 39 years. Thank you very much Coach and him and I did a show years ago with a couple years ago called this happy Show. And on that we interviewed Ron Francis, who played for the Carolina Hurricanes. Bob your famous Boston Bruins with player who's also a financial advisor. Now remember Bobby Orr Hall of Famers, the Flying goal like he got tripped and he was shooting. I think it's against ST Louis in the puck went in, so I don't know, but it's a flying gold. Back in the day. Gary Bettman, the commissioner, that NHL Rocky Bleier, one of my best all time buddies, he was a fullback. The Pittsburgh Steelers when they won those four Super Bowls, and he's not that big by the way to be a fullback Well, and he's a veteran. I mean, e. I mean so so many great stories about rock well, basically went to volunteer to go serve in Vietnam got half his toe blown off, then came back and played for Pittsburgh and won the four Super Bowls. Really story success story right there. Incredible Eddie Money one of my all time favorite. We've talked about that before the great rock and roll legend he passed away, Unfortunately, but Not before I interviewed him really good interview Chris Berman from ESPN. Good names. We call her very cold from the Carolina Hurricanes, so we'll also give you this disk. It's really good, really good Interviews on here and live Happy show was a fun show. We'll probably bring that back eventually. Hi, great. Let's do this. Let's give this little green Book of life out. Let's give this golden ticket out. Let's give the live happy show disc out, and I've got another DVD called the Five Keys to successful retirement. It's a DVD that Thomas and I put together and not too long ago. Well, make sure you get it in everyone's hands. Thomas the next 20 people call We'll get this goody bag at no cost or obligation, the most important part to me. I think it should be to you is you also get that golden ticket which will entitle you to make sure you have that total retirement plan that we will do for you. Number one will educate you on where you are right now, which is very important and light and enlightening, but number two Design a plan based on what you say you want to have happen in the future number one will tell you that's possible or not, And if it's probable we'll put it together for you in writing, so they'll be no doubts. Gimmicks or games all the way through your life because we practice three main ingredients that every plan we do we wanna have growth. We won't have protection of that growth. In other words, once you get it, we don't want you to give it back. Walk those gains in and then when you decide we want you be able to activate your lifetime income account. We call it the financial Philip strategy. So the next 20 of you go. I'll be looking forward to meeting you. I'll sign a couple other books that I've written. I've written eight of now, but make sure you get that little green Book of life and make sure you get that golden ticket right now. That number is 806 617383 806 617383. You can also text the word plan to 21,000 P l. A in 2 to 1000 folks. This is why we want to give you our listeners the opportunity to review your individual plans for retirement. You can find out if there are any potential red flags that could cause problems for you down the line with your current plan or advisor..

"Be a show without best selling author 27 a half years experience. No complaints ever. Chief Fiduciary Officer coach Pete Hey, Dave. Hey, we got Mr Chuck Kate into Hey, Thank you, gentlemen. You're looking great. Now, you guys see, I got this little hat here. It's like obviously breaking bad. Yeah, It's like the guy that Walter White Ward is locked away in a way because it covers up the bald spot on the head. Don't get son on there. I don't want that kind of thing, Chuck, I don't think you know anything about this. What do you know? I wear baseball caps, so but but the funny thing is, it fits fine until I put the headphones on. When I put the put it over the headphones that look like Cam Newton? No, no, You need a feather big, big joke around the Internet. They're about Cam Newton's close a lot of times and what's happened to this guy last week, Right? I know, I know. But last week in the studio, I took a picture myself with the with the head on top of the headphones and posted on Facebook and a lot of the fans were getting a kick out of that. Anyway, it's you know, it's you have to make. You have to make light of it, Chuck because there's really nothing much to do. I don't know what you gonna cry when he dressed up in the scarf, So whatever, Yeah, there's old saying that winning. He was a lot of bills right. And so we see this also in the good, good, good transition here to see it in the market a lot of times when the market's up. Even the dumb people look smart, but I mean, well, they did studies back in. This was back in the nineties with these Internet stocks, but they put a bunch of the remember They were going to the moon. Chuck. All you do is put dot com after name your company that went 200 scene, But they did studies back then, and they had a couple dart boards and a couple monkeys. And they had names of stocks on the dark, dark boards. And they had the monkeys throw the dart. Some of you guys heard about this and wherever we had, did they invested in that? And and it beat the S and P 500 something I think the monkeys went to work for Lehman Brothers. Well, you never know with it. Then we had all the trouble, right? Right, 1007, and so What we're talking about here, though, is we don't know from day to day. What's going to happen, and we sure don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow. Now, A lot of people act like they do. But how do you know what's gonna happen tomorrow? If you're not if you don't have a crystal ball Well, that's true. And the other thing about this coach and Dave, is that you talk about it so many times yourself coach about you say you're you're up, but you're not out of it. So did you really win anything? Well, you're not up. To your outright and so But now, when I say that that that's what people call after the show, So what do you mean? I'm not getting a lot of the market. No, I'm not saying get out of market. We're just saying If you have a good game And you're bragging to yourself or to your family or your friends how much you've made in the market. But you haven't liquidated that money or realized the game. You don't have any gate at all. That's right. Only time to get a game. Just like you know, the old saying was It's been used in Wall Street back in the day when the market go back and forth and you complain, call the broker and complain because you were down in stocks that he put you in Mr Broker. I'm way down. He said. Oh, you're not dead. It's just a paper while she haven't see you haven't realized that we lost yet because you haven't sold it. Same thing. When you have a gain on the other side of the coin, Chuck, you don't have a game, the real gain until it's in your pocket. And so And so I know. I know it's hard to get that philosophy. I've always said that you should never get into a stock a mutual fund and investment, real estate, gold silver, Whatever. Until you know when you're going to get out. So before you buy you did you have to know when you're gonna sell, you have to have the target. It's called. That's right. And unfortunately Read starts weaving its way in Because as we go up if we get lucky, and the stock goes up, then we start saying Well, maybe I know more than I really think I do. Let me stay in the stock. Even though there's a lot of times it's walk. Then it goes up so Just like Vegas. You go to the tables in the casinos and You hit it big for a while and you start thinking you know where you're gonna beat the beat the dealer? Well, that's where you gotta have the plan. The plan is what it's all about, And that's what you're talking about, Whether it's a spending leave plan or any kind of retirement plan and You talk about things? What do you mean? Now, when you talk about a retirement plan is like a hitchhiker that I love your analogies. Now, maybe you could explain it to our list. Well, we talked about this a couple weeks ago on the show, But hitchhiking is basically when when you well, I never had to get rich like Yes, I did. Okay. What about you, David? That I've actually pick some up, but I never did it myself, you know, would be fine if everybody was a law abiding citizen when it Well, that's right. Actually, I went from Ann Arbor to Detroit wants to see a Knicks pistons game with a friend of mine from New York. When I was in college, we hitchhike to strike back and had no problem. Well, you never know. Tell the truth, Chuck. He hitchhikes to what? Woodstock? Oh, well. Yeah, Actually, I got a story about that, too. Not to divert. But my college initiation or orientation was that same weekend, So I never met the New York Unfortunately, let me get back to your point. So you asked what financial planning and hitchhiking common and What is this when you reach what's.
