You would come up with this concept. You did it with With darrin would care farley kit. Yes yes we started working together at jimmy kimmel show in two thousand and two. Sopranos ended A a month before us or something to three months before and then it took you that long to recover to actually be able to do it but you're still upset. I'm so upset. "So I suppose they're like getting ahead of themselves and thinking well what's the point if that's going to happen? But I would like to see them somehow figure out a way to get Middleton on him because if he's going to try and I Salon Middleton that won't go as well as it's gone, everywhere else with him and that you know second and third quarter. The second quarter, he had a lot of points and then he lived up again. So yeah, great call. They need to figure out to get Middleton on Chris Paul. But again, if they screen him and they said a good screen and Middleton gets rubbed off and he's not there anymore song. It's it's confusing. Yeah. Do you also think it's time for you to start the 5? Because Chris, Paul and Devin Booker, they just waiting for Brook Lopez or switch on them. They just took their time to get their spring. Yeah. I I think that every evidence that we saw in games one tonight would indicate. Yes, it's time to just go with that and start there. Now, maybe bring Brook Lopez and Off the Bench and give him those twenty-three minutes against the 2nd. That might make it more effective to. But without question, they were much better with, you know, a hobbled Yiannis at the center spot and even with Portis getting lit up a little bit there, they were still getting closer and it never going to Gap. So you know, I hate to say cuz Lopez did shoot well, but yeah, he's not doing any defensive end well enough against the starters to justify One more question. Also, if they put the five, who would you put in to replace Lopez? Well, I mean, cuz right. Portis is then the five and you got go Ultra small man. It's a, it's a problem, if they're not deep, right? You're bringing in Teague, and continent, Forbes Off the Bench from the back or like, that's not great for the, for our final team, it really is and they needed, they need to Shore that up in the off-season, but it's probably connaughton. He's the guy that they seem most most comfortable with. Yeah, that's all I have. Thank you coach. Awesome. Thanks man. All righty. Let's go to Chuck Bennett still waiting for Ben. Let's go to shanku. Bring you in here. Thank you to hit the button and bring it. Bring you are welcome in and we will get you in here. Let's see here. We got a lot of people coming in and want to request awesome. So as soon as let's see, I'll give you another second. Few seconds, chanku to come in here if not then we'll go to. It looks like you know the next order would probably be home by Jamey. No Jacob. Okay shanku, what's happening man? Hi how are you? Did I pronounce your name correctly, shonku Saku I figured as much. What's happening other much, man, that was a good game, but couldn't hold her. Had some flaws defensively at least kind of same problem has had this Rudy gobert switching and taking advantage of that. I hear you. I hear right now. And then his biggest problem was he didn't adjust quick enough, right? He went was wrong with it. And then bye-bye, that third quarter when they got down by Twenty. That was pretty much it..

"Welcome back to the dam project show. I'm John Hinder Rocker from power line filling in for Dan tonight, and we are joined now by Jed Babbin, former United States Deputy Undersecretary of defense and contributor to The Washington Times. And the American Spectator, Jed Thanks for being on the damn profit show a great to be with you. So you had a piece in the American Spectator called Biden's non mandate, and at the moment things are not looking great and the presidential front. I think all Mr Little depressed about that, but But your message in this article is that other than that the election really went very, very well. Um, talk about that. Why do you say that? Joe Biden hasn't got a mandate. Well, just look at what really use a mandate. John. Back in 1980. Ronald Reagan beat the tar out of Jimmy Carter. Reagan won all about 489 electoral votes, which is almost exactly 10 times. The number of Carter wants Anyone by about nine million popular votes. That's a mandate. That's something that was a rejection of Carter and his agenda and an adoption and vote in favor of Reagan and his agenda. So if you look at what Biden won by quarter Wall Street Journal is 290 electoral votes to Trump's 214, which is a fairly big margin, but it's not overwhelming. Anyone by about five million popular votes, so there's no mandate there. There's no blue wave. You know, as a zoo, you well know, probably better than I know. There's no blue wave to wash the Republicans out of the White House for controlled Senate looks like the Republicans retain control of the Senate. And I think the Republicans picked up what eight or 10 seats in the house. So Biden's win. Give him a mandate for precisely nothing. You know, just let me let me stop you there for a second cause. I think there's another element as well. And that is when Reagan won in 1980. He ran on a very clear program. It was a program of change, and it was substantive. So when people voted for Ronald Reagan They were voting for an agenda and he went in the office and he implemented that agenda as much of it is, he is he could and and basically, basically in this election, Joe Biden ran on the platform of not being Donald Trump. And so a lot of people wanted for Joe Biden, but it's hard to say that they voted for any particular program. Well, I think that's exactly right. The biggest issues in the election, where the pandemic and Trump's personality you know, they accused trump of everything from racism to a competence to whatever and you know, we've already gone through on how many years of impeachments and attempts to spy on Trump's campaign and things like that. And you know the left never accepted that that Trump was a legitimate president, but we have a very great difference Also. Would point out between the Reagan election on the Trump election. You know, frankly, Reagan was the last ideological Republican. We had the ideological conservative president and we have not had one since George W. Bush George H. W. Bush, Certainly Donald Trump. They were not ideological conservatives and we need another ideological conservative. If we're ever going to think about getting a White House back, Yeah, you know, that's interesting because Trump's certainly it did not sound like a traditional conservative. What when he started his race, and I was not a trump backer during the primaries, I supported somebody else as long as there was something else, you know, still alive in the primaries, But when Trump took and the reason was because I didn't think Trump had a solid ideology or a solid history is a conservative, but I was pleasantly sur surprised when Chuck Bennett office, didn't he govern in a really, you know, fundamentally conservative way. Well in foreign policy? Yes. So certainly agree. I mean, Getting out of the Iran nuclear deal getting out of the interim intermediate range nuclear treaty with Russia, you know, doing things like that getting out of the Paris accords on climate change. He was a very good ideological conservative there. However, if you look at government spending government growth, I mean, those things are anathema to conservatives. And you know, Trump had absolutely no interest in reducing the size of government. So yes on foreign policy, No. One domestic policy. Well, let's go back Genin and talk more about this year's election in some of the bright spots because here's whether you didn't mention um, you know, not only did the Republicans gain in the house and probably hold the Senate will see. But I think they will. The Democrats had really hoped to flip a number of state legislative chambers to put them in a position to dominate redistricting after the 2020 Census and they completely failed to do that. Well, you're much more upon that than I am. But I'm sure that that is another failure by the Democrats. I think that's one of the reasons that Nancy Pelosi is a lot less popular now than she was before. She embraced everything that was anti trump and you know, even part of the squad, the so called squad that advocates the green new deal in all sorts of the radical idiotic programs. But they really seizing on the Republicans. Continued games in the state and local governments is good way to look at it. You know, we look at local politics like Tip, O'Neill only said long, long ago. All politics is local. And you see that In local elections, state and local elections. You see a much more populist move than you've seen in a very long time. And that's certainly attributable Trump. Yeah, I think that I think that's right. The Democrats have tried hard to make Republicanism just anathema. You know, Republicans were all raised us. Whatever you know all the smears that they've repeated. Every single day for the last four years, And it's kind of amazing to me that they haven't been more successful. Honestly. Jed Babbin. I saw a Gallup poll shortly before the election that I forget the exact numbers, but it was just party identification. Democrat Republican independent than ever since the new deal most of the time, that will be more people who describe themselves as Democrats than Republicans, even when Republicans are winning elections. In this last yellow pool Before the election. There was 1% more things like 29 28, then a bunch of independence. But there's 1% more describing themselves as Republicans than Democrats. I think that's kind of extraordinary, given the bashing that we've been taking in the press well, even more extraordinary. If you look at the way Trump grew the Republican vote among minorities. I think going back between 2004 in 2016, black men and women gave about 88% or 95% of the votes. The Democrats in 2020 Trump won about 18% of those votes. So that's a huge, huge game for the Republican Party, an expansion of the Republican agenda into the minority community that hasn't happened before, And I think that might be a portent of things to come for the Democrats. They're not gonna be real happy about it, but I think the Republicans have a tremendous opportunity. Well, I think they do, too. What do they need to do? Jet in your view? I mean, they've got to build on the gains that that Trump made its minority voters, and it's kinda like the dam bursting. You know when, when 95% of blacks are voting Democrat, there's a kind of a social Pressure there. That's hard to resist. But when you start talking about 12, 15% or whatever 18% of black men voting Republican. It's pretty hard to maintain the boycott, isn't it? Well, I think it is, and I think that a lot of Black people are now thinking more for themselves than they were in earlier years. I mean, let's look at the black and Hispanic communities, frankly, the Jewish community they basically been zombies marching in step with the Democrats. And I think a lot of people now are starting to think of. Maybe the law and order agenda is a lot more important you had of summer of rights, but I'm sure you know you covered this extensively all through the summer and into the fall we've had. I don't know. Daily riots in Portland, Oregon. Just reelected there. Idiot Mayor who didn't put down the riots and well his opponent was a communist. So there's that. Yeah, well, there is that, But then again, there's build a glossier, but we connects for another day. You know, the real issue here is, I think people looking around and saying I don't want that for my community. You know, my family's safety is more important than the green new deal. I think that's something where people can reflect on it. You know, de funding the police. Oh, that's a great idea. Minneapolis wants to try a holistic approach to policing. Yeah, that's gonna work.

This guy you know like the towns and nobody ever knew what happened to that money, but you know got the mob ended up getting it and frittered away somewhere between a bunch of other guys, but here you kind of know what happened in that and the actually got away with the money. I don't know a black lives matter so I thought that was I've never seen it when I was obviously I'm a cradle Catholic been incredible our Catholic voluntary life right so that we haven't exactly embraced the gay community in the last a thousand years so the I thought it was great that they had a booth set up for the gay community and that that the Catholic Church at least our lady of lords has embraced that communities sell they were selling yard signs I wonder where you got your yard so I got my my your son isn't that all the colors of the rainbow yep yep so I thought it was cool is that that's where you know you come to church this is where we all come together and get along and kind of just go you know do church or the writer to get gay couples can pay tuition also that's right right well I'm shifting gears in gold total opposite direction guys you ready yes talk about the billion dollar industry that is realistic sex dolls.

I think he's a horrible person I think he's the greatest score in basketball history. I believe that you can't take you can't deny that. I believe that it's tie to me with the greatest of all time on Corinne and in Awe Lebron but Jordan. He's he's he's nothing to me. I could care less bad. He's a crybaby. "A podcast for you guys on the virtual basis. So we're going to have some bumps and bruises but hopefully we'll have a good time. I'm joined by my buddy and co-host Corey core sallow to the people. Everybody Gory sitting here checking in Scene Magazine. Housing Funds Day. And let's get. Let's get to court since we've been locked down. I guess you still are are kind of work. Work for Central Service. So has it been for you going going to work. Why everyone else is kind of taking it. Easy try not to die. Hey Man you know likes. They're just trying to stay safe out there for the most part man you know go to work. Stay safe wear masks gloves. Make sure your sanitizing wash your hands. Twenty seconds like they say and keeping our social distancing guidelines you know six feet of art and stay safe man. That's what it is man before we get off until you know our whole thing. The I ran into a lot of people out in the streets man. I'll tell them about the magazine. I tell them about Shane. Bet and question I give most is. What exactly is this machine makes you kinda give a breakdown for the people that are listening as well as people that are owlish yet is what is beautiful machine. Certainly I can do that well. Obviously we're online magazine republished. Every month I get that same question too because everything we do is so custom. We don't have A. How can I say we don't have like a journalistic Matt? We write about whatever so it could be fifteen stories and they could all be different in every way possible when multicultural. We don't do a lot of the political stuff however there is a political article that we we publish this month. But it's fun as informative You know for me. I wanted to do something that represented how I see the world multicultural. A see the world. Funny I see the world series you know I see the world sexually. I see the world. I'm fascinated by every facet of the world. So beautiful machine is just nothing but a representation of what's in my mind and the other people that helped me put it together. What's in their minds? It's like a I don't know man I mean it's hard to say it's just a collection of interesting stories and things on a one thousand great. You Know Synopsis. Of What the magazine Does Mandela Joke? People also about some of the events that beautiful machine does throughout the year. You know Past events and then president and then also talk about some future events that we're we're planning on drop for the people for the most part you know everyone asks me about that. We're not a party giving machine we we celebrate I sit. We celebrate all vets last night. He missed now party right. Yeah you know. We celebrate and Redo a anniversary party. Which is you don't schedule for July. Which will probably give moved. Where we we celebrate our man at a year woman of the year this year we have a person at a decade and We have humanitarian of the year. Which is Dave Woods Mary Sheffield who will be joining. Shortly is our woman of the year and our our guy. Chuck Bennett is demand of the decade. And we'RE GONNA ANNOUNCE HANNITY EAR next month shooting him. I'm drinking wine kind of some weird and we didn't even tell us one time brother toasted up one time with the earls. Divas going Earl Stevens dreamgirls divas here brother. Gotcha I. I'm not sure what I'm drinking But certainly You know we have that Party so anniversary party which is probably our our our biggest party. Then we do. This thing called the beautiful machine. Dutiful people cocktail party which is in the summertime in. There's going to be one other party. We're going to have perhaps a party around the end of the year in around the holiday season. But you know the thing of it. We have parties all the time. It's just the parties we choose to share with the general public. So you know I it absent flows. You know we talk about it but we're not GONNA do. We'RE NOT GONNA have parties for no reason or just parties parties parties. But I tell you one thing we're GONNA do when this thing is over. We're going to have a really really different party than what we used to. We're just we're celebrating life because that's right. This last six seven weeks have been hard on this all the house. The House get out of the House. Just play some music that in just crazy for two hours. It's going to be really exclusive this. This won't be your average you know we're going to get off. We don't do it. Real real real. Well they all tend to be sexy but more but more. I don't know just fine. You know without the you know we're GONNA lose it. Put it like this huge pulsa. Be there you'll be there. This one even be something that the general pop gets a chance even see and like the last party we had. We celebrate it. Chuck Minutes Birthday Bennett Man. Gray you chucks a great guy. I mean chop guest has taught me a lot over the thirty years. I've known him in his A lot of the things happen at our Party is from knowledge or things that I've seen trump do. There's like a I can't remember the name of the magazine something to some fancy French name. The War Best Party givers are the best party. Hells trump wins. It should all the time right up bring host city out by the way everybody's listening. You mentioned Chuck Name. Braise the whole city up most definitely Chuck Chuck as a unique individual that Kind of touches everywhere. You're right he. He's very he's a very Interesting guy and he just gets stronger. He's like whiny skits better with time. He doesn't he doesn't reverse in. It's so funny because I meet girls that are like twenty something and they know about They don't even know how many girls walked the to you at the Party and said will you introduce me to Chop Bauer. I had three. Will you introduce you chunk of his guys like Jay z? So whatever Chuck Gauze is Great? You know he's he's he's honestly the most giving person the most kind person chuck has gotten me out of a lot of jams over the years like really serious jams in just his knowledge. When I have a problem I called. He like our organization is setup kind of like the corleones family. Chuck is like Like veto semi retire eating oranges in the in the in the field but still has all the knowledge. I'm like I'm like Michael. I think you'd be probably Frago at the acts as this whole thing he fault. You'RE YOU'RE GONNA turn into freight out but are you know and so. I go to Chuck Chuck this what I'm trying to do. You know like right now. This is something that most people probably here. For the first time we are planning a Polo match. We're going to bring a real polo match to the city of Detroit in this lady next year July. Seven t talk about like excellent. Talk about it will you know is is going to be a fun field weekend. We're going to bring some celebrity. Dj's it is going to be probably several fundraisers leading up to the thing. It's just GonNa be a ridiculous weekend You know just something something that that that is beautiful machine. That is you as me. That is Chuck Bennett. That's Antija and everyone else that works with us. It's going to be an amalgamation of how we live. Then it's GonNa be great in this country because we everything we do is don't beautiful beautiful things. Maybe exactly so you know it was supposed to happen this year. But you know with all this stuff. We had to kind of kill it. In the EPA July seventeenth look. Look for that will start to promote it. So you know. I'm looking forward to all the beautiful women. You know the dapper due out in the sun with the hats and the beautiful horses. You know the shell out speaking of the beautiful women and reduce man. You know what the party that we have is. The last part have love Party nettles great parties of that right now not lovely ladies out there not a great looking guys man. Everybody had a good time. That's what we aim to do. We aim to please everybody. Vip Functions Myself. They'll be I have a top five right even talk about this time. I let me tell you what I did. I around survey the fellows apart lakes right and slight any lady. That was there because everybody was beautiful. Anybody can kill. That was one woman in that building. That wasn't beautiful. Not Right and we appreciate. We appreciate related. Come out dressed to kill. That's what we expected our events however we also always have to. Kinda give props to the you know the ones that just Kinda of do a little bit extra brother of saying what's it called her up so I'm GonNa give me the the top five right now. The second we got a guest just into our living room while you marry. Hey thank doing Maria how are you gonNA marry? I'm doing great. How are you wonderful? Mary Mary that's Cory Cory. Cory works the magazine. And he's he's he's call hosted the beautiful machine slightly inappropriate typecast but we. We won't be slightly inappropriate with you while your best behavior. Marion cry. I think I congratulations on being here. I appreciate you Dmitri's unit. Tj. You guys were amazing to work with south gate the honor it was a pleasure working with you and you know. I'm being dead serious when I say this. When we talked about women of the year there was maybe three women that their names came up more than once. Yours WITH FLASH AND TURN. It wasn't it wasn't it wasn't even fair like the because you know what you do is so incredible in the thing about it is how you do it. There's so much passion like our manatee arena year Dave Woods. I is so passionate if deny him. Can you not look at this man in? Say that he's annoying it in some way this guy while we were all huddled up at home you and him you're out given tests you know would make sure people weren't sector whatever that and he's out delivering food not even caring about himself yet. "Her friend and mentor Chuck Bennett had owned the beauty college where she began her career always pushed her to go further with her career she found out that the Bennett was sick in twenty eighteen and we told from the Facebook he needed a new kidney Asia Williams said the spirit moved her to fill out an application to become a donor she received a call from the nurse telling her she was a match that went through a battery of tests before she underwent the transplant surgery last April Williams recovered at Bennett's house during the recovery so both his sister and mother could look after both of them and that's acceptable and but it's not over not only is she donate her kidney to her mentor he did something for her in return god help me right at that moment that ours is down he does look from the county fair okay you better get ready because I'm a give me the shot I can't begin to thank you enough for what you've given me life but we can start with you make your dream a reality by having your own solo even though the lord told her they didn't mean that she had to do because sometimes we say is the lord voices sometimes is our so I've been guard there whatever voice it will be she paid attention to it so he gave her a beauty salon in exchange for the kidney that she donated them and that is amazing feel good news segment of the day that's truly amazing yeah but it's a forty seven thirteen before we our and you're listening to a more drive to settle it okay for sure I'm sorry this is great Donald Trump junior was on fox yeah with on your computer I think and he detailed of the difference between the billionaire father he has Donald Trump and the billionaire Michael Bloomberg he's been buying his way through all of these things the one thing that Mike Bloomberg can't by his personality he can't buy a heart he can't buy that connection with the real people that Donald Trump has I mean Donald Trump was again I get it I understand the irony that the brash sort of billionaire from New York City could actually relate to real people blue collar Americans all over the world he's fought for them the they see him they see the results Mike Bloomberg will never have that direct connection with those people and that's the truth and you can hear it of the of the of the stain and Bloomberg's voice when he was talking about to stop and frisk the audio we had yesterday for you guys and then you eat of from junior went on to talk about what's going on inside the DNC and the attempts once again are to screw Bernie I see the DNC doing whatever they can to screw Bernie Sanders again and that's the reality but the last time the DNC rigged a primary it worked out great for us so I'm going to trust their terrible judgment and let them run with it the great that's good that's a good one I keep getting a lot of listener calls emails texts regarding Russia's rushes out again today and one mark Steyn will be filling and rushes currently undergoing treatment for his stage for advance long cancer and so he is gonna be missing a couple of days here there was your first part of the week and they'll be out today and tomorrow getting treatment but if you want to send well wishes to Russian many of us to you go to his website Rush Limbaugh dot com at the very top you can see special notes for rush and you can fill out your name and whatever else you want and if you could send a message of whatever you want well as far as you can upload photos you can take a picture of a get well card whatever you want to do when you go to Rush Limbaugh dot com and all right at the top of the website special notes for rush click on that and you'll be able to send your well wishes and text form war if you like to take a picture or whatever you want to rush rush reads everyone he right may not be able to respond to everyone but I was talking to one of his managers of the day they said he doesn't appreciate it and he reads every.

"Sense really when you walk in your store now. So I'm a new customer. I walk in and is it. The idea is kind of I were at one side sunglasses versus the other and then toward the back you can do. The eye exams. Is that the premise of how you kind of laid out well. The premise is the eye. Exams are done towards the rear. Their Ability Chair But but when you walk in there really is no visual. Strategy to wear sunglasses are It's not it we've gotta by Brand Dan we got it by design My wife is hurry Conscious of how she markets and designs you know the the lay out of of the high wear But you'll see some of the sunglasses group together like you know it's grouped together but some of the other ones are kind of spread out all over but we've got close to a thousand pieces. A thousand pieces. Wow Yeah we teeter. But it's a huge variety. We teeter between the low eight hundred fifty two. You know a little over a thousand pieces at any given time. So what point did you decide that you we needed to add the eye exam aspect too. I think when you first met we talked a little bit about this and I think that wasn't really the original business plan. Correct talk when Berkeley I were opened up You know in two thousand ten My wife was looking to sell. Eyewear work with you on the fashioned side of it She She she loved. You know the I wear the hardware if you will side of the business and you you know less love for you. Know the eye exams and but She saw that we had to eventually do that. The original business plan had it in there as a model it. Just we didn't WANNA pull that trigger until it was the right time and You know After being open eight years we had a pretty sick clientele list and It was easy at that point to reach out to them. And say you know how you loved us for you know buying your eyewear how come in you know and seeing our doctors and we have to really great doctors. Has that helped your business. Then you feel like doing that doctors and that way. Yeah Yeah. We're now where we can kind of do it. Full full service Sometimes people were a little bit surprised maybe even a little bit put off when you call up and said I wanNA make an appointment. You said we didn't do eye exams but you can buy your eye. We're here well. I had one lady years ago. Hey well that's silly well. It wasn't socially because thousands of people did and We just knew that eventually it was going GonNa come down to that. I'd like to retire one day and I'd like to think that you know a doctor will come in and you know in May to happen for us. Sure right right now for a while but you come in and Ri- big check and then you can go down to key west and live the Margarita. Ville Life Sane. Maybe I don't have to go as far as key West I can stop in Fort Lauderdale. Oh Okay Hollywood. Yeah okay. That's realistic. I was sick with Key West. But that's me you okay. That's where you you WANNA go. Once I mean I rarely go there. The Fort Lauderdale. Okay wow you could have like a whole episode on this probably right away so jeff tell me a little bit about the the kind of business strategy side or kind of how are you guys are trying to have atomic dog look in the local market versus other restaurants. Well our liquor license has definitely played a big part in so what was the reasoning of adding a liquor license into it. I'll admit I don't i. I know you ever license. I haven't had a drink there because I probably mainly done it. From what lunch perspective was that to try to grow your dinner business correct we expanded our our. There's an added a liquor license. We were only opened for of M- eleven to two. Yeah I think that was my challenge. The first couple of years I've been in Berkeley a little over four years now when I first I came in a lot of times I would i. I work from home and I don't always go out for lunch and then my wife and I would go out and be like oh I wanna go on atomic dog sometime but the now for dinner and and I think of the six times I've been in there five of them now have been at the dinner time frame good at the time the come yeah. We are venturing in music. We have have shows now. We have a poetry event tomorrow night with M. L. Liebler. He's a very well known. Metro Detroit poet and professor We have a great museum. It makes you more a better way to market self as a poet if you say you're a professor doesn't it sound smarter professor poet. Yeah he's a he's a garbage man poet I must small business owner and I on the side. I've taught marketing so I'd always say like when I'm running my beer to her business monitor with drunk the people and they're like what else do you do do. I'm an adjunct professor of marketing. And then they look at you totally different when you say it that way so okay so you guys have a poet coming in and you're doing some music poetry and I believe this time is I'll look it up until your assistant. Look it up as your as your on live on his eerie. WE'RE NOT GONNA ask Siri because I don't know her and I aren't friends right now so anyway. We are having a great night tomorrow night. Is I forgot to tell you. That's the s the theme. So they're gonNA just. I'm not sure where to go from that. But it's hosted by Shelley Lions Mack. Okay Okay and it's anybody who wants to come up there and talk. They can't we do open MIC nights. So if you have play instruments this is relatively new since we started this in say September or novell cry. Oh yeah very recent than very cool. It's great business for us and we we stay open later. So how do you guys stay open when you're doing that. This'll be from seven PM until nine PM. Scabby Open tomorrow from eleven to we'd take a little break remember. There's only six employees police who at the atomic dog and then we'll reopen from five until nine or nine thirty. I mean if people are so they're having fun at nine nine thirty. I'll stay open for a little bit. So are you seeing Seen people respond to that are they starting to come at night starting to get a feel for it. Yes it but every day is evident mystery. He never know. Unfortunately our location isn't the best for people who if you want to see a building you're just you're GONNA die. You're not really looking for it. You're not gonNA see it But people have been coming in the door more and more. We've been doing advertising doing so. In what ways are you advertising through. Ferndale friends we've thrown a few ads in there with some coupons through I I did a radio radio broadcasts last year. I think the Chuck Bennett Show. It was okay and then we did something on Channel Four live in. Did you do live in the region. Do Live with Jason Kerr. Yeah I've done live in the DEA a couple of times on air of Beer and candy paring back in. When was that like October? uh-huh oh you totally. I had An October fest beer with peanut butter cups. Subways listen to this. Go try that when October. Fest Beers come around again. The the Maltese of the October fest. Beer plays really well with the peanut butter taste and the chocolate taste of a resistant. buttercup sexually did that. Live on air. Jason Kerr and what's what's the not taty but the other one. That does the Blonde Kim Thinking Kim. Yeah it was those two that day and that was a lot of fun. That's a that's a fun format Matt. It's an interesting format because when you go on their ten to eleven. Am so you go down to that studio in the city. Don't you and it's not like you're getting up at five in the morning to get to the studio to do like five minutes on air. Yeah you gotta go there and like when we went there. I went with our chef. Gary they brought this huge huge mobile grill to us. It was on my goodness is it was. It was incredible. It's unreal. I was watching the weather. Report live like ten feet away from him. It was a different experience as you're sitting in that green room there and you kind of watch the stuff happen And I was like I was super nervous. Oh first time I did a live on TV type of appearance of Don Lots podcast shows and radio shows and that's improve type stuff. This is totally different though. When you do it live and you see stuff that you normally see on TV and you see it? There is is because of the video camera right. Yeah see I'm acting like I don't even see it like I'm just so natural right. You've ever had to do that. Any you've done some live on air interviews before if your business a couple couple not too many but You know every time is a new experience with that it is kind. I never know you never know what they're gonNA say my thing always if they get my business name right in my name right. I'm pretty content with that. I could give so many stories over the years. Where where it's like today we're GonNa Interview Blah Blah and his business Blah Blah Blah and? Then they totally say the name wrong just like Oh man like. Did you read anything anything or are you in a position to correct them. Yeah that's always what. I wonder right because it's like the first time they're going to hear you talk now on that interview. What do you say that like? You said my name wrong. Business Name. Wrong Jennifer's kind of Nano had like you can okay okay. It's so rare that it gets done correctly. Luckily that I I'm excited when it does happen correctly. I'm more surprised when it happens correctly. Live in the totally professional was all great journal line. Yeah Yeah but when I'm on like Bob's beer show or something I think was one I was on before like the knows what they're going to say so or like a local podcast Haad cash show like you never know what they're gonNA say local podcast show right. I know I've always walked away wondering why didn't I say something different than what I said. The best thing and you should do is should always listen to it again and go Okay next time I do that. I'm going to try to sound like blank right i. I got taped a lot of times. I listened to myself on video a Lotta Times or on a recording La Times before I felt like I sounded a little more Official and Professional. And but you have those good days as in bad days like it comes in waves like nerve wracking. It's cool when you guys are talking and then you look at me and asked me a question like oh no all right. What are in the room? Oh my gosh. That's what's going to happen in my mind. Yeah it's just always good practices kind of the more you do it the more. It seems natural. Maybe easy for me to say that since I I work as a tour guide ride but even tour guides when you put a camera in front of us. Kind of sit there with the headlight. Look a beer guide. Usually the beer tour guides drunk so so then he's a little more at ease. I remember one time I was at a beer festival in grand rapids in the data. Winner the winner. Beer will Michigan. Bruce Kill does every year as a bunch of friends. And right at the end of this five hour drink fest. I don't know how a camera got put in front of me but it did and they asked me some questions and I walked when I go. Oh my gosh. I can't believe like why did I even start talking. Because I had to be very intoxicated at the time and now have this rule of friends. I call them handlers. At that point at a beer festival like if I ever get between like that again and we're more than two hours into the beer festival just make me walk walk. Walk Me Away right because that Acre handing. Yeah Yeah just move your way all right. That's kind of the rule of thumb anything short of that. You're probably going to go. I would probably talk. Just laugh at it later..

"Let's talk basketball. Franken is ranked number four and two tonight. They beat Sheridan fifty four to thirty a big win and sexual number forty brick Braxton joins me on the Saint Vincent sports performance. Coach thanks to a great start tonight in this win over Sheridan. Yeah. We got off to a good start and got off in the first quarter to seventeen zero lead. Obviously, that's that's for sure we wanted to happen. So I thought our kids came out strong and executed what we wanted done early and stretch the lead out early. You got some guys understand how to play don't you? I mean, not just physically mentally tough group. Don't you think? Yeah. You know, we've got several guys with was quite a bit of experience. And I think that. Yeah. When it comes to understanding the game. We've got a good group that definitely understands that you certainly team who can make a telephone to us if you get a little bit of elite on them to. Yeah. We feel comfortable in that situation. And and we were able to get deep into the bench tonight. And he gets some guys ended. I thought did a nice job sustaining the lead. Once we got it. And we were able to play a twelve different guys. Well, you defended whale you shot the ball whale. That's kind of a combination of basketball games. Yeah. Absolutely. And I think our defense early got our offense going and generated. Quick baskets for us and got some close look. So that was important to start off that way who plays well in the win. Kayden key. Let us with fourteen points and had a nice game for us. John Hassel who's been really consistent and kind of glue guy for us all year defensively up ten points. But just has done a tremendous job in a leader. And defending and breaking Kane. Another two year starter for us just has had an outstanding in our last three or four games and played really well tonight as well. And like I said I felt like our the bench and and some other guys just contributed stepped up. I want Behani tomorrow night a team, you know, a lot about it should be a great match up. Yeah. Absolutely. They're they're very well coached and coach Louis has done an outstanding job there with this career. And and. They play well together. And they're good teams says a lot like you should be a good one Franklin over shared and tonight, fifty four thirty and that's in sectional number forty and Elwood taking on what behind for the championship. Brent braxton. Good luck. Thanks for the call tonight. Coach. Thanks, bob. Appreciate you. Brian Sullivan joins me W S anto horn, new Albany beach number four and four Floyd central thirty nine thirty six won a game. Brian every week that I call in type ballgame your screen says to the buzzer beater, I say almost. Tonight, a truth buzzer beater down there. See more. Well, you knew this was going to be a good game. And and you kinda come in new it because these are two really well coached teams Floyd has had a great year as we talked about last week. Jimmy, Shannon's BULLDOGS are starting to put it together. So no surprise that. It gets down to the end. No. And, you know, well, we call attempts that they played the first time. It was a tight ballgame all the way through the new Albany hit. I had a couple of those turnovers ticket run back to layups the other way in a low scoring every premium on every possession. You can't have those came out ahead. A couple of those early and got down fourteen savvy or just. That kind of a whole to their credit. They buckled down made a nice run. When it hit by four points fought back in it was just different types the rest of the way. Right. So gimme the hero of the night by definitely Derek. Stevenson senior. The hit the game winning shot that and we were really happy because he committed that most cardinal sins. Three point lead in three points. You gotta give credit to fully searchable. They have soft for the kid. Your kid up there? Down three clutch free throws with eight seconds left comes back in tires. And then you Albany came down four guys touch the ball and eight seconds just with the ball around and found. Derek stevenson. He had sixteen night. He got himself lose for three pointer there on the left wing, right? I to be stupid section and they win nuts. Well, it's Jeff new Albany. Why not tomorrow night? I think the sixty sixty one time. Jeff just got an all time thirty one twenty nine states play new Albany, still better seven or eight gave advantage overall. But it's been courtesy even over the years, and Jeff what's really really good tonight against that from north more instead of twenty three point lead at the half. Scurry competitive, and they shot the ball outstanding. So. You'll new Albany team to knock them off back in early January thirteen in one sense, then he'll proof tonight that they can they could beat somebody that got him in the regular season. I get one more opportunity tomorrow Floyd's into a new all new tonight at the horn new all meaning wins it thirty nine thirty six. Brian sullivan. Thanks for the call talk to you tomorrow night. All right coach Chuck Bennett joins me from speedway. Sparkplugs beat Shortridge sixty three fifty four semi final action. Chuck, thanks so much for the call. Congratulations. Hey, thanks, Bob. I appreciate that other bunch just happy to be playing tomorrow night for sexual championship or fortune to be playing at home. To do that. So athletic director does a great job. Right. It's going to be exciting. Tomorrow night hairs, Chris knew that beaten part tutor. They beat them by ten tonight. You know, they're gonna well the player Andrew Williams great guard. So it's going to be about tomorrow. We're looking forward to proud of my kids. You know, one point four seven and the season thirteen and ten so played really well the second part of the season and got sixteen years of just done a great job and. So it's nice. It's good. I'm happy for the kids that don't have great job who plays well in your win tonight. Well to start off. With was our assistant coach Jim early is in charge of the scout tonight. And right. We don't we hold the Lee scored his having twenty one a game Dickerson kid tonight and had a good good scheme with that. But on the offense aside the ball senior Alex Moore scored twenty three or four tonight made four three's been shooting the ball really well here lately sophomore point guard. Drew Valentine had nineteen fours. Do great job of handling the pressure. And then makes me go to other people and then six or eight kids have played scored. So we shared the ball. Really, really? Well, but you know, defensively we talked about making sure we hold teams under fifty eight points, and we did that tonight with fifty four. So we're gonna need that kind of effort tomorrow night and hopefully come home with some hardware speedway over Shortridge tonight. Sixty three fifty four sectional forty three tomorrow. I'd taken on heritage Christian for the championship. Chuck Bennett on the Saint Vincent sports performance. Online Chuck's thanks for the call tomorrow night. Thank you. Bob. Thanks. I appreciate it. David would joins me the head coach from LA west Lafayette tonight. They beat northwestern in the final forty five forty two David is on the Saint Vincent sports performance. Online. A great win for you tonight. Coach thanks so much for the call. It was a great win. Bob. They're all great. And at this time of year, but we had lost by double digits to them twice earlier in the year. And so had to do some things a lot better this time. Unfortunately, we did. And and came out on the winning side just been ranked number one for a large part of the year. So this is big it's a one possession game. Tell me how you do it. Well, it was kind of a gritty game. We were I think we were down one at the quarter up one and a half and maybe three or four the quarter. And I don't I don't think they ever took the lead. But I know it was tied with about four minutes to go. I thought we did a great job playing defense. They've got a very very good offensive team. They've got a very good offensive player in taste and Parker and. We held him to twenty nine points where I think he took twenty eight. Pretty excited about he's a hard guy to keep from getting to the rim. And we did a pretty good job of that quickly. Tell me who plays well for you. Our star tonight was Yanni Karloff to sophomore four inside player had twenty points. Great twenty points, nine rebounds thought are are inside guys really really played. Well, Nelson Bongo had a good game as well inside. But yawning, I think was was the big star tonight. David would head coach at west Lafayette. They beat northwestern tonight. Sectional number twenty. Congratulations. David best to look tomorrow night. Thank you very much. Bob daycare Skomer day, come up with rob Canada.
