"Outer loop, you'll slow from just after 95, headed over toward Georgia avenue, and we're still slow on the inner loop south of town, saint Barnabas road, down toward the Wilson bridge. Jack Taylor TOP traffic Now live to storm team four's chuck bell and chuck will the wind that we're getting now die down this afternoon. Thankfully, yes, it will be the most blustery part of the day will be between now and about lunchtime or shortly thereafter. The further we get into the middle and later parts of the afternoon, the wind will start to relax just a bit. And after sunset, which of course doesn't come up until about 7 15 tonight. After sunset, the wind will noticeably die back quite a bit. So that will help quite a deal. However, the air that's in place is very, very dry, and with a clear sky tonight, clear skies and bone dry air is a recipe for radiational cooling. So it will be every bit as cold tomorrow morning, temperature wise, most of the suburbs will drop well below freezing, but it will not be as much of a windchill to deal with. So you have considered trade one thing for the other. Still, temperatures only in the low to mid 30s now, and winds are still gusting close to 40 mph, so wind chills remain in a load of mid 20s for now, afternoon temperatures today up near 50, windchills this afternoon are still gonna hover in the upper 30s to around 40°. Overnight, light winds, clear skies as I mentioned, mid 20s in the suburbs tomorrow, near to the freezing 32 33° mark in downtown next to the bay. Tomorrow, southwest winds and sunshine 62 tomorrow is going to feel about 20° warmer than today, even though it won't really be much more than about ten. And mid 60s on Friday, but Friday turns cloudy, and there's a chance for some much needed rain late Friday or Friday night, but that rain chance may be pretty good, but the amount of rain we're expecting Friday night generally less than a quarter of an inch. It could ring out a couple of drops of rain, but rainfall totals, if any, will only be in the few hundreds of an inch. "There's a jiffy lube D.C. dot com for the locations near you, Mary to pump the WTO P traffic. Storm team forest chuck bell is joining us live now as we check the new week weather, beautiful Monday to start here. And I just hate that we're wasting the best day of the week on a Monday. I know. You know, but that's the way the cookie crumbles around here wasn't actually all that bad over the weekend, so I guess we should just take our take our win and move on. Sunshine for much of the day in front of us here afternoon highs will be in the upper 50s to around 60°, not bad for early March and average high 53, but the rest of the week getting back to average is gonna be a struggle. Clouds will come through with a front tonight. That'll bring a very small chance for a couple of drops of rain between about 11 p.m. and three or 4 a.m. tomorrow. So as long as you're asleep during that time, you probably won't see a drop. We'll start off a little cloudy with temperatures near 40 tomorrow morning. The gusty northwest wind will arrive shortly after sunrise. It'll blow the clouds out, but it will be a blustery afternoon. A lot highs tomorrow just barely above 50°, dropping into the mid 30s, and again, wind chills, Wednesday, a Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, wind chills are going to be down in the 20s again, even though temperatures will be in the 30s because that northwest wind will be up all night, Tuesday night, and all through the course of the day on Wednesday, Wednesday's highs upper 40s to around 50. We do lose the wind on Thursday, that'll help a little bit, but clouds will come back and deliver some cold rain chances for Friday and on into the weekend. "Technology, you can schedule your consultation today at G four by gulpa dot com, married to pump a WTO P traffic. Storm team forest chuck bell, joining us live where to enjoy the sunshine this morning. Yeah, it is a bright and sunny start to the day. It will remain generally sunny. There are a few extra clouds building down to our south, but they are not going to bring anything in the way of a rain chance today. Afternoon highs, about 10° above average, 60 to 62 today. It will remain relatively mild tonight as clouds and a south wind move in. It will also bring a chance for rain. Nothing before midnight, but there will be a chance for showers between 2 a.m. and about 6 or 7 a.m. tomorrow. So not a high impact time for rain unless you, of course, work the morning ship, then for tomorrow afternoon, remaining partly to mostly cloudy, pretty steady wind out of the south tomorrow, about 68° for March the second, not too bad. Friday, however, is to sort of the payback day. We'll be stuck in the mid 40s all day on Friday with rain, potentially a lot of range, especially towards Friday afternoon and Friday evening at night. As much as a half an inch to an inch rain is a possibility. And again, a temperature of the 40, that's an ugly day. The weekend, both days look to be dry, The Rain will be gone. First thing Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon, 58, and gusty winds out of the northwest Sunday, mid 50s still breezy, but not as gusty. I'm storm team four. We'll get a live weather report now with storm team forest chuck bell chuck, what a nice way to start this month. Absolutely right. Beautiful day outside to filtered sunshine here this morning. It'll say partly to mostly sunny, the rest of the day. Temperatures are already getting close to 50° in the Washington area, and we should have no trouble getting to about 60 to 62 for highs this afternoon and dry weather for the rest of the day. There will be a chance for some rain late tonight into the really the early parts of tomorrow morning. Two, 3 a.m. up to about 6 or 7 a.m.. After that, the rest of your Thursday will be mostly cloudy mild and dry. Temperatures in the mid to upper 60s at least coming up for tomorrow afternoon. Better enjoy it because it's going to be cold and wet on Friday. Temperatures will be stuck in the low to mid 40s all day long with rain, the likely in periods for much of the day, Friday. And then some heavier rain Friday night with rising temperatures after the sun goes down. Saturday and Sunday, temperatures will be in the 50s, both afternoons, but with a pretty gusty wind out of the northwest. I'm storm team four, meteorologist chuck bell. For WTO. "Complete connectivity solution. Comcast business powering possibilities restrictions apply. I'm Rita Kessler WTO traffic. Storm team Forrest chuck bell is joining us live, not everyone is still seeing all these clouds, but we are for the time being. Yeah, just for now. At least it's a little easier to take a cloudy start when you know the sun is on the way, and it is. It'll turn mostly sunny by later on into the afternoon. And so just a little extra patience. So do you sound good? The sunshine has already broken out not too far to our west and south. So it is on the way. Temperatures now mid to upper 40s around most of the region. We'll head above 60° today for high temperature, average will only be 51 or two, so about 10° above average today. Clear skies, and after a breezy afternoon, the wind will lay down overnight. Clear skies and a light wind is usually a recipe for a relatively cold start at this time of the year and it will be temperatures down in the mid 30s tomorrow morning. Tomorrow though, with sunny days, sunny skies from start to finish. I think you're going to like your Wednesday. Probably going to be the last really pretty day of the week, guaranteed to be dry and sunny with a high of 62 to 64. It will be milder on Thursday, but Thursday will be cloudy and quite breezy as well. And there's a likely going to be a period of rain in the morning hours before we have a generally dry afternoon, and then rain comes right back in Thursday night into Friday, like The Rain pretty much all day on Friday. Perhaps as much as an inch of rain and a few local spots and temperatures only in the 40s all day on Friday. So that's not exactly going to be a good outdoor day at all. The range should be gone in time for your Saturday afternoon and Sunday plans to be rain free. I'm storm gene for meteorologist chuck bell for WTO. "The Comcast business, complete connectivity solution. Comcast business, powering possibilities, restrictions apply. Jack Taylor WTO P traffic, and joining us now, storm team Forrest chuck bell, chuck, what do we got today? Well, a cloudy still for now, and this is gonna be with us the next couple of hours. There will be an increase of win from the northwest as we get into the afternoon hours, and that will really help to push the clouds away and bring in some drier air, so that'll be a nicer finish to the second half of your day than the first. That's for sure. Afternoon temperatures today up around 60° eventually once we get the sunshine back. Skies will remain clear for tonight, so it'll be a little colder tomorrow morning, most areas will be in the mid 30s, early tomorrow. Then tomorrow afternoon, with plenty of sunshine and a wind out of the south, we should make temperatures get back into the low 60s a delightful day coming up for tomorrow, a rain chance on Thursday morning early, staying generally cloudy and breezy, Thursday afternoon, but those winds will be out of the southwest, so it'll be mild, 68, at least. There's a real chance we can get to 70 on Thursday, even without much in the way of sunshine. And then rain chances go back up to nearly a 100% chance for much of the day Friday and Friday night. Friday's temperatures will be in the 40s most of the day, rising into the 50s by Friday evening, and then into the weekend. If you're wondering, Saturday, The Rain should be gone before the sun comes up and that'll leave us dry with highs in the low to mid 50s, both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. "The left side if you're in the district at his northbound in the third street tunnel before C street the left lane was crowded with a broken down vehicle. I'm Rita Kessler W TOP traffic. Let's go live now to storm team fours chuck bell. How is our Monday looking? So far, so good, but there is an increasing chance we're going to get some rain into the area. First chance for rain arrives here between about say one and two or 3 o'clock in the afternoon in the form of just a couple of sprinkles, but it'll be full solid overcast by then. Then after that, much better chance for some steadier rain showers comes in after about four or 5 p.m.. So a few early afternoon sprinkles that are much better chance for some actual rain as we get later into the afternoon and especially once we get into the evening hours, studies of The Rain most likely between about 6 p.m. and midnight. For tomorrow, we'll go back to dry weather. It's going to take a little while. The clouds that are bringing The Rain chances in later today, there will be a little tough to scour out of here tomorrow early, but we should get back to some sunshine tomorrow afternoon with the northwest breeze. Temperatures tomorrow, I should reach about 60°. That's about 10° above average for the final day of February, large will be coming in like a lamb, mostly sunny and mild on Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 60s, Thursday will also be mild. However, Thursday will turn cloudy and rain chances which arrive late Thursday and continue on into Friday. We'll also drag the temperatures down. So Friday's rain chance comes with temperatures only in the low 40s. I'm storm team four, meteorologist, chuck bell for WTO. 47° right

"Two 36 and watch for our work zone on the George Washington Parkway, going northbound, headed after spout run, then you've got the long-term work between one 23 and the beltway. Jack Taylor, WTO, P traffic. Storm team four meteorologist chuck bell, we are starting to see some sunshine here outside the WTO studios. That's a good news for sure. Yeah, what the little cloud cover is out to the west is going to be moving out. There are still some raindrops down southernmost parts of fog cure county moving into Stafford county. So if you sprinkles a rain from Fredericksburg to Stafford and there's still steadier rain across parts of southern Maryland, southern Charles Calvert and saint Mary's county. But those raindrops are all moving away from Washington not towards Washington. It's all completely dry, north and west of saint fairfax to loudoun loudoun county. So it'll be an improving weather picture today. Enough sunshine and a south wind this afternoon, temperatures which are still near 50 now should have no trouble getting very close to 70° this afternoon, and another mild day tomorrow, but you will not be able to take as full of advantage of it as we are today. Because there's an 80% chance for rain tomorrow. Not so much at the very beginning or end of the day, but a huge rain chance, right? Smack dab in the middle of your Thursday, late morning into the early and middle parts of the afternoon. Could get as much as a quarter to a half an inch rain and that spurt. Another lingering rain chance continues Thursday night in the Friday. That won't be a lot of rain, but that will be coming along with the cold front, which will push the mild air that we're enjoying today and tomorrow, 68 today, 66 tomorrow. That's all gone by Friday afternoon. Temperatures will be spending the day Friday falling steadily from about 56 or 7 on the morning commute down to barely 40 by 5 or 6 in the afternoon and very gusty wind. Southwest winds tomorrow could gust over 30 northwest winds tomorrow night into Friday, could Gus to as much as 40 mph at times. So make sure you're trash cans and outdoor items are secure for the gusty winds. We'd lose the wind, but we also lose the warmth for the weekend, Saturday, sunny, and 48, a little milder on Sunday, both extra clouds, Sunday back into the mid 50s. Jack Taylor WTO P traffic. Storm team four meteorologist chuck bell, we're getting warmer and warmer as the morning goes on. Yeah, absolutely. Whatever you prefer. Hide today right around 60°. If you need a little warmer, the next two days will both be warmer than this. 68 tomorrow and 66 on Thursday. However, both of those days come with a little bit of a caveat. Tomorrow there'll be a little chance for early, followed by a very breezy afternoon. Southwest winds are really going to be going tomorrow and again on Thursday. Thursday also comes with a rain chance, mostly during the middle parts of the afternoon. So not a total rainout, but still a pretty good chance you're going to have some rain on your Thursday. The wind will turn to the northwest on Friday and get very gusty once again. And temperatures will be tumbling during the day on Thursday. "Work set up there. Also, Sunset Hills wrote it really avenue. You're under police direction as they put in new traffic lights. I'm Rita Kessler. W T o p. Traffic. All right, Let's see what's happening here with storm team for meteorologists Chuck Bell Hey, Good morning. Yeah, The sun is making an appearance. But, wow, that Northwest wind is really cutting through the air. No doubt, temperatures have been driven below freezing. Now we're down to 31 at national Airport, 30 degrees at Dulles and 30 degrees that beat up you. I'm Marshall Airport and National Airport in Dulles are both reporting wind gusts. Between 35 40 MPH So with temperatures just below freezing and the winds going windchills air in the mid teens, and this is the way it's going to be the rest of the day. We get back above freezing. It'll be just barely and not for long this afternoon sunshine, windy and cold. The rest of the day was Sun goes down tonight. It's really going to drop temperatures will be into the teens and low twenties by early tomorrow morning. The wind isn't really gonna lay down much overnight. So by the time you get up on your Friday morning to get your day started Windchills will be down in the single numbers for much of the region. Some of our coldest weather of the winter to this point tomorrow, much like today will have high temperatures on Lee in the mid thirties. There'll be plenty of sunshine tomorrow, but the Northwest wind will also be a factor for your Friday Saturday, the wind finally dies away Saturday will be cold and sunny with a high of 37 degrees. Then all eyes on the forecasting world are turned towards Sunday in the early part of next week. It does look like a pretty high likelihood that we're gonna start with snow during the day on Sunday, little too early to promise accumulation total just yet, but unfortunately, it also looks like the rain snow Ma Snow line will be a factor in this upcoming event. So what may start is mostly if not entirely snow on Sunday and Sunday night, maybe an ugly snow and rain mix. As you get into Monday. Needless to say, we're gonna keep a close eye on that. But there's no precipitation to worry about between now and Sunday. Little opportunity. Get everything done and get ready for a snow chance. I'm Storm Team four meteorologist Chuck Bell for W T O P. All right, chuck Sunshine and a cold 26 degrees right now in Washington brought to you by new look home design. They make getting a new roof easy. "Not a Storm Team four. Meteorologist Chuck Bell, Hard to imagine. This day probably qualifies a little relief, Chuck Absolutely. Every day. Saturday through yesterday, National Airport was 94 or higher. We should be a degree or two below that today, just barely, but a lot of extra clouds around should help. Hold most areas into the upper eighties and low nineties. Today. The Heat advisory for southern Maryland is from noon until eight o'clock. The D C Metro is not included in the Heat advisor today just won't meet The criteria, which is several consecutive hours with Heat index is up over 101 105 degrees. That being said the Heat index and Daisy will probably close to 100 for much of the afternoon. Hard to believe that a heat index of 100 is a break, but compared to 105 or six we'll take every little bit we could get. There will be another pie chance for some rain and thunderstorms today, not the kind of severe weather we dealt with yesterday but still a pop up thunderstorm. Not out of the question. And anytime your thunder. That means that lightning is present. Always good to get off the golf course and out of the pool and away from any local waterways. And please be cautious around it. Highs Today Low nineties up Brady's in the suburbs tomorrow another fairly cloudy day on Friday with a passing shower, not a big rain impact. Tomorrow would've pop up rain shower thunderstorm. Not out of the question on your Friday afternoon. Tomorrow's highs. Good stay below 90 degrees of national Airport. That's cool. Snap 89. Then over the weekend, we dry out and warm up again Saturday, partly to mostly sunny, 92 Lots of Sunday Sunshine High
