"Christie was asked for comments and he didn't provide any. That seems a little unusual, doesn't it? Shouldn't they be saying, what do you think of your nieces conduct? Right after they say what do you think of Donald Trump's dinner? As if we care what Christie cares about Donald Trump's dinner. But isn't that interesting? He's not responding to that question. Course I don't hold that again, Christy. Hold it against him. But on the other hand, he's quite silent, which is very unusual for Chris Christie, don't you think mister producer? I'm Sean Anderson top story we're following for you this hour, a special grand jury is accusing top administrators at loudoun county public schools of looking out for themselves instead of the best interests of the school system. The grand jury is releasing its report today into the administration's handling of two sexual assaults by the same student, our story from double DTO peace, shaina stool. While the grand jury says they didn't find a coordinated cover up, they do say there was a stunning lack of openness, transparency, and accountability, and that senior LCP has administrators failed at every juncture, and that the second assault on a student could have and should have been prevented. They also say they have evidence of the superintendent lying at a school board meeting about the first assault on another student. The grand jury has been investigating how the school system responded to a 15 year old assaulting a female student at stone bridge high school last year, and then after being transferred to broad run high school, assaulting another female student there. In one of his first moves in office, Republican governor Glenn youngkin called for an investigation, attorney general Jason miara is accusing the school system of a cover up for political gains. Shayna sulan, WTO news. Chrystia Freeland: Truckers Faced Financial Restrictions Since Feb. 15

"The deputy prime minister to Canada obviously a sycophant to Trudeau Christy of Freeland cut to go The RCMP has given to this Canadian run financial centralized institution So she says they give in to the financial institutions names of leaders and organizations of the protests Go ahead Institutions names of leaders and organizers of the protests And of people whose trucks were part of occupations and blockades That is the only information according to the RCMP that the RCMP has given to financial institutions We've only given names serial numbers license plates bank account numbers all the rest That's all What's the problem Go ahead I think it's also really important for everyone to be clear and this speaks to the getting our facts straight point That these measures applied only as of the 15th of February That is when financial support of these illegal blockades and occupations began to be sanctioned And then finally let me say by the way that makes it better for people who have their life savings in their bank accounts And have to pay a mortgage We have to pay a monthly fee for their automobiles or whatever Don't worry We've only frozen them since February 15th

John Zmirak Shares His Thoughts on Governor Kristi Noem

"Governor Christy nome of is it North Dakota? I think so. I think South Dakota, whatever. I think there are folks like her who, for some reason, there's a moment of truth and they go wobbly. I guess for her that was, I don't know, was it a year ago or so was a year ago? The fact is they're always wobbly and you see a glitch in the matrix and exposes them for what they always were. If you talk to South Dakota conservatives, they'll tell you, she is a Chamber of Commerce, rhino hack, who occasionally says things that rounds up the base and sound conservative. She's allowing vaccine mandates in her state. She refused to support a law protecting employees from vaccine mandates. And this is somebody you think of as a good guy. Governor Christy nome. And then you're telling me that, yeah, on some things maybe, but when the chips are down, let's just put it this way. She's no Marjorie Taylor green. Right. When the Chamber of Commerce snaps its fingers, she comes running up with a silver tracing. Yes, what can I help you? What would you like next? Did she care? But she has nice eyes and she might be a nice vice presidential now. No, but isn't it funny though, how we perceive people? And I'm saying this just because I want those who are listening to know that there are people out there, I mean, look, the worst example is is Mitch McConnell. I like Mitch McConnell. They will do some good things once in a while. Yes, they will. But you get the impression that they do those good things mainly so they can cling to power and do bad things.

"Did a recent podcast episode on this winter hustle and went to slow down with jennifer. Always you can check that out if you want to. That's a great resources. Well but let me give you two specific things that might help you as just very simple tips number. One set a goal for how much you're going to work on your business see if we decide And this is true with cleaning your house or spending time with your kids or with anything in life if you don't set a goal or in other words if you don't define what success looks like that it always feels like a moving target but if we don't define success like here's the amount of time that is my goal to talk business. Or here's the amount of time i'd like to spend with my kids in a week. Ideally your. here's the amount of time that i would like to work on. Xyz that it never feels like it's enough so just make up a number. What is the right amount. A number for you to work on your business. The second thing about this is i would just say Was the best way to say this. It's not that. I don't want you to care what other people think i want you to discern what other people think. I love a three in the bible. It says for everything. There is a season. There's a time for everything under the sun. there's a time to hustle and a time to slow down and it doesn't say that but it should right. There's a time for everything and we'll tell you if you're a believer anyone listening right now. If you're a believer the holy spirit in you will do that for you. The holy spirit and you will and the things that are for you and we'll put up a wall. The things that are not man. Instagram influencers teachers coaches people. Like may that this can be so helpful when you need it. But we're not god instagram's not god even the smartest person you know that influences you and your business still not god. He's the one that's going to tell you what you need. And you can pray and seek determined to know what that is in the moment all right. Let's see we got time for one more before we wrap up here. How can i get my boutique to sell out. Fast with a few items on social media. Well that's that's a pretty big question. I mean this is a major marketing question. <hes> i'll just give you a really quick answer is we don't have time to go into detail here. One you need to have really good items and really good marketing. I learned advertising. When i majored in advertising in college that nothing will kill a bad product faster than good advertising. Because you get a lot of eyeballs on it and experience it in the product is bad so your items need to be good to be good quality items. That people want. They need to have a good price but the need really good marketing and advertising to get those eyeballs on it you need both one will not be enough. You can't just have good items because no one knows about by him and you can't just have good advertising because then at the product suck people are going to spread the word to their friends. They're going to buy them. So you need both really good quality products and really good marketing. And that's how you get your cells up all right. I love hanging out with you a love answering your questions. Thanks for hanging out with me as always and for more encouragement on becoming the person you want to be you can visit christy wright dot com.

"Here's where you're coming from. And what i love is the lens that you guys put on this consistently is the bible consistently is faith so i get a lot of pushback on social media about any graham. Sure sure i get not a lot. That's that's an exaggeration. i also like to exaggerate. I do get some though of direct messages and emails of it's of the devil. You can't be a christ follower and use the any grammont lots of skepticism around the ingraham from the faith community so instead of avoiding that welcome. We're gonna talk about teached me about because i've never even been able to really defend it or speak intelligently because i don't know enough about the history of it but you guys do would you teach me and us a little bit about the history and how you're able to blend. Yes this tool. Sure with your faith and us about yeah. I want to honor the question i. I'm grateful that christians are mindful and testing the spirits or using discernment to apply the scriptures. So that we're not necessarily influenced by the next popular trend. It's nice. I like y'all you're when you're wrong to the intent behind it is great. I think what many people assume so. It is true the modern form. The ingram was highly influenced by two eastern mystics and they had different types of spiritual experiences and they use new age or eastern mystic language to describe those experiences. But here's what's different. And i think a lot of people think of the india graham sort of like the mormon church or joseph smith who goes away. He has a conversation with the angel. He's delivered authoritative texts and they create a religion out of it. That wasn't how the neograft started. It was more one guy had a container of knowledge which he would not even recognize. How the ingraham us now. One of his students than started teaching it to his students in california. What year are we talking about here at this sixties and seventies okay..

Running Injuries: When To Keep Running and When Take a Break

"This is just a hypothetical example. I'm out for a four mile. Easy run and my left. Knee starts to talk to me or my right heel hurts or my calf suddenly seizes up I haven't stepped into a pothole or otherwise. You know run into a dog or something like that like nothing that it's like clearly like oh i that's how i hurt myself. What do i do. should. I keep running. Do i stop running like if you're in my shoes or a listeners. In my shoes christy. What do you recommend okay. So sometimes that can be the sign of actual injury. Sure but sometimes it's just information in his just your body telling you like oh. Maybe you didn't drink enough water before you ran in. Your calf is cramping dehydrated so it. It's not always necessarily an injury. So what i usually say is if you can run through it in. It's it's not sharp stabby pain like you really feel like you're doing yourself and you keep going you can keep going You can always take a break and off break and just walk it out a little bit. Sometimes that'll be enough for it. Sometimes you start In you go back to trying to round and you're like nope that is not happening. Okay then you need to stop but if it's if it's more dull nature and is just kinda there. It's not really getting worse. Not really getting better. But it's not changing. You can usually run through them. Okay and what about. If i it's dullish but i'm maybe changing my gate or i'm slowing down quite a bit to baby or something like that. If i'm aware of that which i realized might be kind of a second level consciousness but do i need to stop then. Even if i feel like i could power through it Not necessarily if. I the slowing down part to me. That's not stressful. Because again it could just be a information that you're getting that day and you may be able to go out a few days later and maybe totally fine if you feel like you're if you're limping or you're really having to adjust how you're running then you need well. I shouldn't say you need to stop. You should stop. how about that. Yeah there are plenty of people that wouldn't in done that myself. Many times are paid for it. Big time down the road. So yeah i mean if you've got to change what you're doing in terms of like you're limping or basically lumping. Because i think if you have to slow down that's not necessarily a bad thing. If you can do an easy run and finish it off then okay. Maybe you really shouldn't be doing something faster right

"Like a little bit. I knew yes mine is like just whenever we have like downtime just like we live in the woods and we have a fire pit. Like if i'm sitting around that fire pit with a day off. Yes that's like me back to complete opposite of your normal like lights. Just i could see that like just like silence about answer. No real answer for music. I don't even put it on. Our life is just music and it's hard when actually listen without being analytical like i turn on country radio and there are sometimes i love and there are some songs i don't like how just can't turn it off. Yeah so it's like not restful one more favorite thing about being appearance because they'll have new little adorable not little. he's kind of. he's above average in size. Yeah awesome okay. What they were being here. I think i always loved babysitting and all that kind of stuff. But like when it's this ad and happy part like when he cries enriches for me and stops crying. That's that will bloom. Hires as like a new mom. I was like away. The one the one that holds you makes you stop crack so weird to be. Someone's like person and home and everything in one place. Mine is like when he sees me excited. Yes like like even from across the room like pop. Album is are the best awesome. Thank you here. Thanks for your wisdom about marriage. Encouraged people are. Y'all have some exciting news for those of you. Right to get started all right. Y'all but there have been multiple times in my life where i have felt like. I lost myself whether it was because of a difficult season or through all my roles and responsibilities and commitments at the end of the day. I would look up and just wonder. I don't even know who i am anymore. If you've ever felt like that. I hear you in fact. That's the very reason i wrote my new devotional living true. Forty days to get back to you through this forty journey. I wanna help you reset and refocus on scripture and what god says about you. This is going to help you get back to you and get back to who he created you to be. You can get your copy of living true forty days to get back to you at christy wright dot com. All right. y'all let's answer some questions that you have sent in for me to answer lawsuit you've got say. How do you combat the feeling of being overwhelmed or burnt out in a job. Now i will say this is a really common question. And it's commonplace to be the number one thing i would tell you to do is to get to the of why because if you're in a tough season because you're just working all the time but there's a into that then you can get through it like tough season is right now like i feel like work right now is overwhelming but in a great way. I'm launching my book. Take back your time. i'm traveling i'm speaking. I'm doing media interviews all day every day. We look at that and go. Oh my gosh. I'm exhausted because i am but it's all good things. It's for a season of launching a book. This is not my reality all day everyday forever. We're going to be exhausted forever. So maybe in your situation it's a season you're like. Oh i'm account. This is tax season Busy because of this reason and when we get past this date or this deadline then things will let up. And i can have a little bit of a break. Maybe that's an example. Maybe the reason you feel is not because of the work that you do. He'll you do it for. Maybe you've really toxic boss. Maybe toxic co workers. Maybe it's a toxic culture. You actually love your position but you hate the people you do it with. Okay well you may not be able to fix that but it helps you understand what to do when you know why you feel that way. Maybe it's the opposite. You love the company that love the culture. You love your boss. You love your co workers. You love everything but hate the work. Okay it doesn't mean you can change that tomorrow but it does mean you can begin to look for a path to do something you love to do in the place that you love to do it. I advise people all the time when you're looking to make a career change. The company matters a ton in fact. I believe it matters more than what you do. Because you could have your dream position in terrible culture and you're gonna hate it because the culture and your co workers and your leadership greatly affects what you do every day whereas the opposite situation you might be doing a position you don't love but in a company you do love and the people are awesome. Two cultures amazing in your leader is outstanding. And your co workers are so fun but what you're doing everyday isn't your dream position forever. Well you can get through that because the people and a culture affects your experience so much you can also if you have a great leader and a great culture typically great with great cultures value great people and they will make a path for you. They can say okay. We can't change your position tomorrow. But here's our our six month plan our nine month plan to develop your skills over here or to move you here or to promote you here. And that's something. That's very realistic and possible for you so i don't know what it is for you. I don't know if you're tired and you're working all the time. I don't know if you don't like your position or you don't like your co workers if you don't like any of it then yeah it's time to look for something new. My friend. Ken coleman is an expert on this. Y'all and in fact. His book is available for pre sale. It's called from paycheck to purpose. This is the plan that you need to find the work that you love and so if you want to get more information that you can go to ramsey solutions dot com that would be a perfect resource for you to actually begin to make these steps and one of the very first things he's gonna ask you to do. Is exactly what i'm asking you to do. Figure out why the way he says it is clear. Get clear on what you want to do. And when you're asking this question about being overwhelmed or burnout in your job. Start with y. Why are you. Burn out what's going on in you and when you know what the root problem is you'll know what you need to do to fix it and part of fixing it is doing something new or moving to a new position or a new company. Can coleman's book from paycheck. To purpose is a great resource to help you do that. I hope that helps. And i hope that you get out of that place that you're in because no one wants to be there all right next question. How do i make my message to clients not preachy. But more inspiring through christ. Everyone approach this differently. And i actually have an old podcast. It was part of the business. Boutique podcasts. i don't remember the number but you can go look it up. You can concerts for on how to invite faith into your business. And so i think that's kind of what you're asking like how faith plays into your business. And there's a lot of different ways to do it. My personal strategy and what i feel called to do is more of an example than it is preaching. I want to live out my faith so intentionally that people look at me ago. What's different about you. How did you go through that hardship with joy. How did you experience that difficult thing with peace. How did you have confidence when everything was coming at you or how did you handle success with grace and not think it's all about you and not get a big ego and get ahead. How did you do well. Because it's not mine. Because i believe it's god's because i believe it's from god and for god in guy if i'm doing it right. In my opinion again this is just christie writes opinion. If i'm doing it right then people will want to know what's different about me and then opens the door for me to talk about my face to share my testimony to talk about this. God that loves me. And you and this hypothetical person very much encourage you that the way that god is calling you to share your message is the way that he wants you to share your message. So it's more direct than my style maybe less direct than my style. That's the way that god wants to use you and there are people that are going to need that and receive that because of what god is doing through use. So don't feel like your way has to look like someone else's way your strategy has to be someone else's strategy because if god is calling you to share your faith in a certain way it's because there are people that technique that strategy is going to relate with the most and so i just want to encourage you your way that god is calling you to is the right way great question. Thanks for asking all right. Y'all i love answering your questions. You can always send those into me on instagram at christie. Be right and we'll get them in a fishbowl and then we will answer them here on the show. I love hanging out with you guys. "And we want to take him to disney. Yeah remember by the disney ones. So you talked about saying no. Is it hard absolutely is it. Has it gotten easier or was it super hard at first and now it's getting a little easier that you harder for me because i talk seven and i can just go sir how i go until i can't and then it's just like a hard stop. But she is like very conscious of where she's at where more conscious boy i'm eboni. Hey of really. Don't think we should do them like let's just do ya. Totally and yes. So i definitely have a much harder time saying. I think it's interesting because even if you've been doing a long time saying no is still hard especially we have a lot of listeners and viewers that are people of faith. I think there's an aspect of that. It makes it even harder. Because there's this like faith component. Like oh i need to be a good servant or it's almost like we. Sometimes we'll feel guilty for saying no protecting time protecting our energy protecting disney trip. It can be hard as love. I don't know. I find comfort in the fact that it's hard for you all to the friendship. That's what's harder for me shows. And all that. I'm like you're going to have more offers. You're gonna have the like when it comes to friendship saying you have asked for. It's harder because i'm a three wing to isaiah two and a half. I'm really just between the data that like that's hard because it's personal. Do you worry what your friends think of you over when you say no like oh yeah you don't wanna be right art. Yeah like you're on. Hi my biggest. Fear is for people to say that i've changed you know like i'm still. Rd she's still kaley. You know what i mean and people who really really know us know that we have not changed. And but yeah. That's my greatest. Fear is that people are like. Oh that change. It's like we have a tier system. Which tyler and hannah are tier blood We have like a. I started noticing. Leads me the to your three people. Were getting so much of my time. Getting the coffee is what is tier three live music. Okay explaining this to tyler. And they were like well. What are we as like your tier blood. You're not even like on. Our group text is actually called to your blood love. Tier one is like my maid of honor. If you were in our wedding like or you tour with us like best friend shirt. Best best best. Like i would give you kidney. Then there's tier two which is like other friends of yours. That lance yeah. Let's get dinner. It's always the tier two people that want to get your to your. Three people are like people who went to high school college with you. Hung out with then. Still feel close to you but you don't necessarily go to for any right thing right now. They don't feel you back. Tier one are like equally charging battery. People so i started noticing. All these people like fresh out of college before he was even like taking off just me like let's see coffee. Let's get coffee with all the coffee. Pick your brain having a friendly top relationships. I wasn't eating like i was a photographer now. They were trying to like become photographers. It was like let's talk relationships anyway. I just realized. I haven't had coffee with my best friend in probably a year while your now this is. This has to change so i just started just mentally. I don't have a master history but like you know. I was like i spent too much time. I have not had dinner with like our best couple and like that needs to shift. I love that. That's such a great visual and it's such a tactical framework for making decision. It makes me think of dissolve or watch the mindy project when that was so. There's one point where danny says to mindy. She's like referred to her best friend and he's like you'd like seven best friends. She was best. Friend is a tear de for women. An hope i mean we are best friend. Group is what including kids. It's like twenty seven people. But if i don't know fifteen sixteen couples it's a lot. Yeah and this is. And so. Even if i tried to get dinner with just those people right. I couldn't do it in a year. Lose marriage in general. Because i'm sure that with y'all successive last year's which is just from what. It was five years ago with the six dollar video. Yeah to what you're experiencing today you've had. I'm sure you've had too not just prioritize your marriage but rethink how you prioritize rethink what a healthy marriage looks like in this new reality versus the reality. That was five years ago with those demands and with having a baby and all that so talk to me what does it look like today. And how guys continued to come beat in check with that to make sure that it is what you want to be your both on same page with such a weird schedule you kinda put her head down for a while of like at least for me that i knew that i wanted to write and do my own podcast thing and do all that stuff but i had to keep my head down to help really leaning to that too wing. But also my three of. I'm gonna help you achieve achieve achieve and we just head down for really long time knowing that someday we'd get easier and then that would free up to do more of my so there's their seasons stuff in this season is a lot better than the other ones driving a van with the band guys for like five years. We couldn't talk about having kids for at least five or six years of our marriage. Is i would stay home. And we would never see each other. And so that was like a sacrifice we both made. We want family on short-term. Yeah 'cause we were like if we're gonna multiply us we want to be one of won't divide us and so avoid it down. Keep going so we can start a family in 'cause we wanted our own bus within. We're going to do that so that he could travel. Or whoever be nebi but they had to go with us and we'd be together and there wouldn't be a crying baby in the punk talia so wise on your part but i also just want to come into your sacrifice kaley like that. You thought of it that way like. Hey this is your season to how not just from shooting the video. That helped launch him. But even we're going to postpone planning a family as much as you can't plan it because this is the season for building. Your that's really really cool. There's a lot of people that went and do that. That's awesome and it just felt right like we just knew the timing right as soon as it was time to start trying. I had all these dreams about it. Other dreams out. And we're like all right. You've got this new reality of being on the road. You made those sacrifices and now you've got a million things going on. What do you think makes marriage. Great like looking back on the last five years. I know you've done a lot of things right. You've been super intentional. There's probably some things you've learned along the way today. We're all today with an eleven month old which is here in the thick of it like tomorrow. What do you think makes it great oh man it's the sacrifice it's humility. Is you know like on the road. I'm just thinking of like examples..

You have the reading country song in. What is it. The top ten longest running country solid up. Which one is that love. You like i used to. Yes is The longest running top ten country radio history was just super cool especially when like the first video. That was a really big deal you did. Yeah six dollars. Six ors and that was not that long ago five years ago. Those twenty sixteen. I don't wanna hear people you but let's talk about what's most interesting. We have the same anniversary. Ver five and tyler is your brother which everyone knows tyler. Because talk about hemmings. Unlike tyler makes things all of this. Tyler is behind the campus. Which is fun. So i love that i love. I love the personal connection. And we were talking. Tyler and i were talking as we're planning out the episodes themes and we're kind of been on this kick right now talking about life balance. My book is coming up next week on life. Balance and balance is one of the topics that are has feelings about my balances. It's not possible. If i'm trying to take a new take on it but the reason i was so excited to talk to you guys is because i think sometimes we don't think about how much marriage our marriage. The health of our marriage affects. Whether or not we enjoy life whether or not we feel balance whether or not. We're happy whether or not we're on the same page doing the right things and tell us like a sister you know. Maybe maybe gillian russell would come in. And he's like they have such a cool story of their marriage and and you'll definitely have a very unique version of balance. You're on the road all the time. But what's so cool about. This is my whole thesis of the book is like balance. isn't doing everything for equal monetize. It's doing the right things at the right time. And you guys as extreme as your story is and what travel looks like for you and your family all that. You're doing the right things at the right time. It's just different than what someone else would tell me a little bit about. What's the behind the scenes in the life of kaley and russell and you're adorable son and what kind of the rhythms of your schedule your travel i mean so tomorrow i'll ask me. They're always like you know what does it. What does the typical day look like in your life. And i'm like they're a thousand different days. There's there's zero like one day. Never like the other either of us. And so i think for us specifically the first thing that came to mind was just constant analysis of you know where we're at marriage wise where you know where we're at family wise where we at energy wise where we heads wise. 'cause we really i mean it's it's been tough to to get to where we are in mainly because of boundaries. That's a huge more for us. Like there's always gonna be somebody who wants to come by or wants me here and her there and you know it's like it's really been a long journey of realizing for us like the word no has been so huge for us because when we get home off the road we need because it's like it's a hundred miles a minute on the road. You know we're always going here there everywhere so we get home. It's just like shut down and they're like if people we come by. I'm like no no no days. It's yes but if our batteries aren't were pretty much always assessing our batteries like what's the battery between us. What's the battery with our son. How much time have we gotten to like. Have quality time with him because he around on the road. Like we're running like crazy nine times that you just so we just assess like batteries low is. It's a no people that think that we always say around here because we travel a lot as company as a speaking team. We always say that people that think. That travel is glamorous. don't travel it's not suitcases. It's luggage it's like delayed flights. It doesn't matter how platinum no no. It's hard on you a love. The battery analogy wears on. You emotionally physically. It can be really super draining. Okay so you use the battery example and use the word boundary and now. I'm curious and love asking people this win. An opportunity comes your way. How do you decide like what is that conversation like. Someone comes to you kayleigh or someone comes to you russell. Hey we've got this opportunity. We add a town in town whatever day of the week. What does that conversation look like. It's not going to have our how we talk about. I'm just curious how. How do you decide what's it. Yes someone to know. I mean it really is. It's like do. We think that we could successfully pull this off without it. Just absolutely draining. Us wrecking us like if it was like. Hey we have a show in pensacola florida. But hey they want us to play seattle the next day like probably not you know what i mean because that would be so taxing as far as like logistically us and getting room and everything moving to that so it's just like any opportunity really that i get unless it's like an absolute no brainer or like sit down have a conversation. Do you think we can pull this off. Do you think it's healthy for us. Energy wise to be able to do this and still continue our regular schedule after that you know. Will it affect that. Like what's the risk in the reward. Like what are we risking like. Is it gonna drain us. Is it gonna this if it's a private show that's like worth doing. There's a reward for our like if it's turning down a show because it's during our son's first birthday that indices as growth example so we're going to disney world for his birthday and i swear we've gotten three bush shou offers like right around there that would just completely wreck our plans and so financially yes they were would have been a great decision. But it's our child's first birthday.

"You're facing whatever decision. You're making get the right advice from the right people. I'll give you two different examples. In one instance. I was really struggling with my son. Conley he has got some sensory challenges and as a parent. He's so different. That has older brother carter and so i'm constantly figuring out. How do i discipline him. Like what is him being out of line as one is something that's a sensory issue or he's trying to tell me something is off and i need to handle it totally different as a parent. This can be exhausting. It can be so hard to figure out and it can be emotional. Because you don't want to do the wrong thing. Well several months ago. I was referred to a counselor here in town. And y'all i signed up for a session. And i just thought i just need to talk to someone to help me understand. I doing the right thing. That's all i wanna know. I doing the right thing. How do i do this. What is the right thing. I spent fifty minutes with this incredible man. And y'all in that fifty minutes. I kid you not. He changed my life like he was full of grace and wisdom and advice and guidance and everything he said so resonated with me it was so in line with my values. It was so perfect for where i was in my journey as a parent and where my son conley was in his age and in his development. I walked out of that room feeling. I kid you not one hundred pounds lighter. I've felt like god us this man to meet me right where i was. I got the encouragement. I needed when. I was really struggling but also got the advice that i needed of how to navigate difficult in different situations with my son. Conley getting the right advice from the right people will help you do. What's right for you. Now that's an example with parenting. Let me give you a non parenting example. I have back pain. I have talked about this on social media. Whenever i shared this recently but i have a degenerative disc in my lower back that i've had since like high school so i know how to manage this. I know that. I have this pain if i sit for long periods of time. It flares up. Kim become really painful thankful with three kids. I don't sit for long periods of time. But also i stand for long periods of time like i do on days like today when i'm shooting the christy wright show or when i'm shooting some other video series when i stand i can almost get stuck in this position of standing and so i've dealt with this pain for a long time but i've had this new pain in the last four to six month. That is just nerve related. It's an shooting pains. And every time i sneeze. I panic the my legs are going to collapse because it's happened before and i'm like that's not normal. We don't need to live with this just like fear seizing. We don't need to live with the fear that you're going to give out just in the hallway when you're walking through the day so i saw it out a really highly recommended. Spinal surgeon an expert in the spine. And i have been having meetings and appointments and mri's and concerts with him physical therapy and pursuing this path of healing pursuing this path of managing my back pain. It's not going to be back surgery. But there are things that i can do to take care of my back and do what's right for me in my situation regardless of what you're dealing with a work decision a parenting issue a health issue. You've got to do what's right for you and the best way to know what that is is to get the right advice from the right people people that you trust people that are referred by people that you trust people that are in line with your values those people that are experts in their space..

"Wright. Show i didn't want i love my kids. I see them three hundred sixty four days a year for the most part. Yeah we go to play dates. We go to the park. We go to picnic. We go to the playground. We go to all the things. I'm a good mom yesterday by me. Want to get a pedicure wanted to go to yoga have lunch. I just wanted to be free but stephanie. I swear as i felt guilty. There was this like you should want to be with them. You know what i'm saying like it's like this constant work we have to bring the day is the constant work you have to do if you're a mom of eight months old or six years old or sixteen years old and you feel that. Pull towards guilt. This constant work. We have to do to check that way. Scott tuesday. Where did this story come from this. Is this how god talks me. No is this true. No you know. And so i hope that that is just encouraging to women in any stage of life that if you're feeling it doesn't mean there's something wrong with you but it does mean there's work to be done as we all have to do because i don't think god has called us to live a guilt filled life. He didn't create for that. And the thing is it steals from us yes like you absolutely are allowed to have day. I teach you'll get to hear this my day. I think this is something. I'm totally still exploring. Because obviously i'm very very new at this but like the idea that what if i don't know who says this but like there's kind of this idea that the best thing for my kids to be around me one hundred percent of the time that is a lie. What is for for me. It's like i don't know where that comes from is belief that no one told me that. But that's what. I was feeling when i was like okay. Is it okay for me to like in my head. I'm like shipping them off to their grandparents like okay..

"Invited to those pages. Were god will show me something that i want that i didn't know i wanted. We're god will show me something. He wants for me. That i didn't know he wanted for me and sometimes they're really awesome things and sometimes they're really scary things. When god told me to go to seminary i was very scared of that. And i'm loving it. It's hard but i'm loving it. Some thirty seven four says delight yourself in the lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Of course we know that god is not a gina bottle where you rub the lamp and get whatever you want but as you delight in him as you seek him as you spend time with him in silence and solitude is you pray as you shut out all the voices of instagram. Social media. Peer pressure kids screaming for blueberries at six. Am you can have a moment to shut that al and you delight in him and you seek him he can show you what you want. He will show you what you want and more than that. He'll show you what he wants for you. And as we know his plans for is are not only good. They are more than we could ever ask. Or imagine so while it's good to think about what you want and that's a great exercise and a good practice an important to get back in touch with what's even better is asking god what he wants because his plans are so much better than our plans. That's a great question. I hope this helps point you in the right direction to figure out what you want and what god wants for you all right. David thomas david being here. Thanks for having me when we were talking about. You know planning topics for the christy wright show and we do this every month or so. I had this idea months ago. And i think we just had to work on schedules and stuff to get you here but i thought this is something i want to talk about because i think that not only have i experienced in my life the benefit of getting help but i see so many people that walk around everyday and they carry pain or struggles or frustrations and they feel like they just have to live with that and so i thought you know what you're someone that has in a very very short amount of time made a huge impact in my life personally which i which i've shared a little bit about but i'd love to hear from you. Tell our listeners and viewers what you do and what. Your heart is to help people but also even in that idea. What do you see when it comes to people that are walking around with with pain or difficulty your struggles and and just talk a little bit about what you're seeing. 'cause i know you do this all day everyday do and and have done this work for twenty five years now so i work with just the pediatric population in with this grey. "Let's talk about somebody else I hate. Chrissy fucking tegan. Despite being a member of the council club, boy, this bitch gets around. She was, I'm sure you saw one of the guests that Obama is 60s birthday bash. The one went out the mask. The sophisticated crowd who got vaccinated, they said, a bunch of bullshit. She's been to Miami recently. Palm Springs, New York City, Italy, life's really hard when you're a fat former fucking model, isn't it who suffers from depression and takes drugs at home while your boyfriend husband motherfuckers is living across town at his bachelor pad in boystown in West Hollywood. That's true. I mean, he stays with us sometimes, most of the time he ain't there. Christy, I'm working late in the studio. Yeah, sure. Okay. Rather than go over the hill to be with you. I'm gonna save my bachelor pad and boys town. Put two and two together. Once you please, this bitch continues to shield for food and fashion lines and last month she posted 25 pictures. And I don't even know how many Instagram stories. All these people are canceled in the past must be wondering, what the fuck houses girl doing? How is she doing this? It's unbelievable. She's got 35 million followers on Instagram. And yet, after all the shit she's done and said, threatening people asking people wishing people dead, blah, blah, blah. Sharon Stone, Andy Cohen, the Kardashians, Paris Hilton. They all love this woman. All The Real Housewives and any of you like The Real Housewives, you need to ask them, why the fuck are they still acting like Chrissy Teigen's okay in their book? She's still getting a lot of love, but apparently this angers hard to tractors. And they think that the new controversy, Chrissy Teigen's been deleting the negative comments from her Instagram because all people are seeing is positive comments. Those of those of you look, they're like this can't be true. No one's saying anything negative about this bitch. Of course

"Where i have felt completely overwhelmed. We just get all caught up in the details. It really don't matter but really when we show up into a in a room what people remember about any of us is how they felt in our presence. Hey everyone and welcome to the christy wright show where faith meets personal development so you can have a bigger faith and a better life. I'm so excited because today we are talking about something that is really going to help you. Especially for those of you. That might be having a hard time. Maybe you're going through a tough season or you're just exhausted from life. I'm going to give you some tips and advice that hopefully will set you free and encourage you and then i get to sit down with the amazing legend grammy award winning amy grant and y'all she has some really incredible wisdom for us. That's gonna help us in any season but first let's talk about how to get through a hard season. Here's one of the things that i've noticed when i'm entering a new season whether that's a season with my health where i'm going through something and need to recover or i'm going into busy season at work or maybe a difficult season with one of my kids. What i tend to do is continue to expect myself everything. I expected before i entered that season. Now the most dramatic example. I can give you was when i got pregnant with my first son carter. I remember getting pregnant with him and still expecting that. I would work out all the time. That i would have a clean house that i would have energy for all the things that normally did and i didn't y'all in that first trimester. I was exhausted. I was so tired that i actually asked my leader. If i could leave work go home and take a nap. In the middle of the day. That tired i went to bed at six thirty every night. That first mr well. I remember just beating myself up over it. You're not getting anything done. You're not cleaning the house. You haven't run and weeks. Because i continued to expect myself everything that i used to do. But now i was in a new season experienced something similar when carter was born and i thought oh my gosh. Maternity leave like. I'm going to have a spotless house and start new projects. I don't know. Maybe i'll start a new business with all this free time off of work..

"What god is stirring in you if you feel anxiety or you feel at peace at a certain decision. Another thing to consider is The council of people around you so when you talk about this idea to people are they affirming. People that are trustworthy. People that are close. You people that you know if you're a believer that also believers that are in touch the spirit and god's speaking calling. Are those people in agreement again. This is not a one-size-fits-all this is not an end. All be all where someone shoots down your business idea which means it'll never work. That's not the way this works. But if you start to see a pattern of a lot of people that you trust are advising you to make this decision or advising you against this decision that can be a clue that is either confirming or leading you in a different direction for that decision. I'll give you an example again with seminary. When i started saying that out loud to people as crazy as it sounded to me and even to the people i told people that i love and trust all of them pretty quickly. Were like yeah. That sounds right. Yeah that just that just makes sense for you. Yeah i totally see that they were being nice. These are people that will shoot me straight. Tell me the truth. And tell me when. I'm going down a bad path but the confirmation was almost unanimous of people that love and trust going yes in agreement with that decision so i thinking about the feelings that rise up in you in in either of these choices and it be it can be a huge commitment like seminary or it can be. What are we going to do saturday afternoon. And some decisions are bigger and more important than others. Some have more bearing on your life than others but when you start to think about the feelings that rise up in you and you start to think about what. The agreement of people around you is. That can really help. You know if you're on the right path thinking about even something small as saturday afternoon plans when you think about a saturday afternoon i think about taking my kids to the zoo. Does that exciting or exhausting. Maybe a little bit of both if you have kids when you talk to your spouse and you say hey sorry fruit do you want to you. Take him to the studio or hang out of the house. Does your spouse say think about the feelings that rise up in you in any given decision and the people around you that you love trust and how they feel and and what they think about that decision can help you know if you're making the right choice. It's a great question. It's a hard one to be honest. And like i said when i started. It's not a perfect formula. But i do think these two things can help you know if you're on the right track. Thanks so much for sitting in your question. And i hope this helps are. Y'all thanks so much for joining me as always ends. You can tune in next week for another new episode. "One of the not talked about but major issues like the issue beneath all of so many of the other issues. We're all trying to figure out. How in the world do we follow. Jesus or even just live a healthy human life. Hey everyone and welcome to the christy wright show where faith meets personal development so you can have a bigger faith and a better life. I'm so excited because today we are talking about three things that you need in your life right now whether you realize it or not and then i got to sit down with my good friend and author of one of my favorite books ruthless elimination of hurry. John mark comber. Y'all heat is brilliant. When it comes to slowing down stopping the rushing in your life and resting so you can feel balanced but first. Let's go ahead and talk about. What are these three things that you need in your life right now. Wanna i start by highlighting something that you may do. I'm guessing you do it. Because i do it. And because everyone. I see everywhere does it. Here's a common scenario. Let's say that you are going to the doctor's office or you're going somewhere in a building that has multiple floors. Maybe your work and you get in the elevator and the elevator doors. Close what you do. It's about a half a second before you reach in your purse and you pull out your phone and you look at your phone and you just grow phone until approximately three seconds later ding. You're at your floor now. That seems innocent. It's not a terrible thing. But here's what's interesting. I think there's something else going on in the fact that we have a three second elevator ride and we feel the need to reach for our phone. Is it the addictive nature of our phone that we're used to picking it up over and over and over again. Sure that's definitely a play. But i think there's something else going on. I think that we have trained our mine to be addicted to input nonstop all day everyday. We are seeking input. We've got information we've got the tv on. Were talking to people. Even if there is one moment of silence we reach for our phone in an elevator ride. That takes three seconds. We reach for phone. We can't just sit there and stare at the elevator doors. Maybe you do this in the car at a stop light. Maybe in traffic. What's going on. Are we really that incapable of being quiet.

How This Investment Could Change Your Kid's Future with Christy Wright

"The other day. My friend told me the story. And i was like what's so. He said that his mentor years and years ago said to him. Hey are you investing for your kids future and my friend at the time didn't have kids and he was like no i don't have kids in. His mentor. was like listen the earlier. You start saving for your kids and their future. The better off. they're going to be. You're going to be because he knew little something compound interest so he kept asking my friend over and over for like two or three years. Hey have you opened up an account for your kids. Hey have you account for your kids like no no. No no no and finally has been towards that okay. Listen i'll match whatever money you put in. I will match you. Because i want you to start investing for your kids future. So whether you've been in two thousand dollars i'll match it or put in two hundred. I'll match it but i wanna help you because i want you to be motivated to do this because you are going to be so. So thankful well. He finally took him up on it one day and he said okay. I'm gonna do this so with little. He was doing neck and fast forward. You guys almost two decades each of his kids when they turn eighteen. He hands the accounts over to them. And these accounts you guys had over two hundred thousand dollars in them just because he started so early and was consistent. I mean is that not insane. That is so so crazy and the great thing is they're able to use that money some use it for schools. Some of them used it for their wedding or they use it for down payment on their first home and guys that is the power not just con- insurance but the power of changing your family tree thinking so far ahead because it is crazy which is five hundred dollars. Thousand dollars can do over the course of eighteen

"After matthew. I'm excited to have you on this day. In if you put it was a little bit of background about you are and what got you doing the work. You're doing sure thanks for having me. It's great to be here when i first graduated from medical school. I actually trained as a pediatrician. And i was perfectly happy thinking that i knew everything you know. They taught me everything. I needed a medical school in my own personal life. I didn't feel good. I was exhausted like the most important task of my day was to find a way to have a nap nan. I was irritable. I was flying off the handle at my kids. My poor is the one that bore the brunt of my wicked witch of the west impersonation. He just really honestly didn't know what to do with me. Half the time. And i knew that something was wrong like i knew that how i felt wasn't normal but nothing in my medical training helped me to really understand what was wrong with me. I wasn't depressed but yet something was wrong. And as my husband came across a book that was written by suzanne somers and it was called the sexy years and when he kind of flipped through that book he saw all kinds of things that reminded him of me and he brought the book home and my first reaction was like. You've got to be kidding me. Suzanne somers like christy snow thigh master. But i knew that we had a problem. It was affecting our marriage. It was affecting my kids. It was affecting my job at work and so i read the book and i gotta tell you that book has completely changed my entire life because when i read the stories of the women in the book who were just like me and how much better. They felt when they got their hormones back in balanced. It really allowed me to open my mind and allowed me to find that there were places that i could go to learn this whole new approach to health and wellness that i didn't even know existed and so as a result i was able to get my energy back. Mccain's got their mom back. My husband got his wife back. I got my life back. But i could not go back to what i was doing before just spending my whole day. Writing prescriptions because most of the time those prescriptions are of just putting a band aid on your symptoms. They're not really getting to the root cause of the problem and making people well.

"On it. So you think about that. Most of us aren't hoarders. Think of like the tv horrors but we are in some sense accumulating. A lot of stuff. That'd be fine if it was bringing us. More joy and happiness and contentment and peace and tranquility is doing that. Hi everyone and welcome to the christy wright show where faith meets personal developments. You could have a bigger faith and a better life. I'm so excited because today we are talking about how to love your home and your life more and then later on in the show i get to sit down with the minimalists joshua milburn and ryan nicodemus. And we're gonna talk about their new book. Love people use things and it's going to be a good one but first let's talk about how to love your home and your whole life a whole lot more. Well i got to start by sharing an example with you. That is not recent for me. I have not talked about this publicly. But my husband and i have decided to move now. I don't know if you've heard but the housing market a little insane right now so. We picked the worst timing imaginable to decide to move. But we feel ready. We've been saving up and we'd like a little bit more space for families so we've just been kind of like keep an eye out. You know not desperate not crazy not panicking. Not freaking out. But for the last year or two. We've just been watching the markets seeing if something comes on the market keeping an eye out in the areas that we like in the school zones that we like and so one will recently as in. I don't know three weeks ago. We found a house that was perfect. Like y'all checked. Every single box of everything i want and i don't know i consider myself a little picky at this point my life. Like if we're gonna move our forty seven kids. I have three but it feels like forty seven. Sometimes if we're going to haul everybody to a new house and go through all the rigmarole of cleaning and packing and moving and all that like it's going to be because it's what we want. So had this long list of things that i want a new house and we want a bigger eyes and we want to open concept floor plan and some things that we have in our house right now and y'all this house. This house checked every box. It was a beautiful flat lot and even had room to grow and expand. If you wanted to in the future like you could stay there. A longtime awesome neighborhood awesome. School zone awesome location. Everything about it was awesome. It was even on a cold attack. And i remember my husband telling me that growing up on a cul de sac. He loved it because he could play in the street and not have to really worry about a lot of fast traffic driving by and that wasn't a box i want to check. But it's a bonus. That's a cul de sac. I know that this is the house. God is going to give us. This is it this is for sure. This is a sign from heaven. This is supposed to be our house so we go toward the house. In even as i'm walking inside i'm like i mean we basically already live here like the christmas trees go there. They'll take pro and pictures right here on the stairs like i can see our entire future and it's at this house so we make an offer that morning and we made a strong offer in this crazy market and to an offer that was confident in the markets crazy. We're gonna make a good offer like a really feel good.

Iconic Theaters in California to Close Over Pandemic Losses

"The pandemic has cost us a lot, but the hope that someday post vaccine we would return to our favorite places that hope has carried us through the hardest parts of these last 13 months. Well. News came this week that the iconic Arclight cinema and 58 year old Cinerama Dome in Hollywood would not be reopening post pandemic. In fact, the owners of ArcLight Cinemas and Pacific Theater said none of their locations would be reopening. Post Cove it. That's right. No more ArcLight caramel corn or movie pore size glasses of wine. Joining me to remember these theaters, particularly the iconic Hollywood location is Christy Lemire. She writes for Roger ebert dot com and Who hosts the podcast breakfast all day, and she's our regular one of our regular and most beloved film critics on Fridays. Hi, Christie. Hello, my friend. What a sad day it is. I know, And we have all spent so many glorious hours at the arc lights, especially the one in Hollywood. Talk about many, and yeah, from your perspective. So it's funny when you're a film critic, especially if you're a freelancer like so many of us are like you don't have an office, right? You watch movies at your house or you right at your house, and so going to the Arc light on a Monday night to see a big studio release, and all your fellow critics were there, and there's a buzz in the audience as people who love film You know, it's It's like going to your favorite office but also your favorite watering hole and there's such a great energy the minute you walked into that lobby with just the job. Soaring feelings and the huge marquee with all the times and the big clock, and you felt like you were walking into a cathedral of swords. And yet there's also a very intimate sense of community because you could go and have a bye deep beforehand or have a glass of wine afterward and talking about what you have just seen

Called the desire factor is going to be out on april twenty first twenty twenty one She's also appeared on bunch of news programs today. Show morning show. She's attacks tock She's had her articles published. A lot of major magazines like people seventeen women's day and as a as an enough. She's the ceo and founder of quantum success learning academy in quantum success. Coaching academy which is a ten month law of attraction coaching certification program and she has helped over three thousand life coaches and helped countless others to unlock their power to manifest. Which i think we will probably also talk about here today. so i i'll christie. Tell us a little bit about Being an energy master first off like what what is that actually And and then what do we need to do to become. I guess what is it. Why is it important. Maybe that's yeah what is it. It's fair actually. Yeah that's a great question. I would big question when is it. Is you know you get to be the woops. Did i go out there you go. That was interesting. It shifted screens. I don't know why did that. So yeah energy mastery is really about you being the the employer of your life and therefore your creations and so we. Our consciousness is what creates our reality. We know this by universal laws by knowing that everything is vibration. Everything is energy and when we look at burley break breakdown what is our consciousness. It's what we say what. We think how we perceive or believe what we feel. And sometimes that's a big one because we don't wanna feel. We suppress our feelings. So we're still attracting from that place and then how we act and those are the things that we have influence over. We don't have influence over. What our partners are doing or how we want to change them or all the other things that are outside in what's happening in the world but we have a choice in how we respond to those things so mastering our own energy is really understanding. That you know life isn't sometimes full array moore's unicorns. Unfortunately there are things that happen right. We get sideswiped by information. We hear things in his could be shocking to the system and it's being able to feel the feelings to process them to choose the thoughts that we wanna feel really getting into a place where we are deliberately in tune and in check with our own energy because you know it very much looks like we're physical beings. We are right now. We're also energy and the way that we bring in energy is that we're energy. Receivers were always receiving an energy. We have trillions and trillions of cells at all have receptor sites on them that are needing energy and what most people do is they go out into the universe they go out to a grocery store and they get inundated by you know frequencies in energies in waves or maybe they call their mom or they call their friend. The friend is fear of something. So you're getting this energy that's coming into your system but if you're the one deliberately choosing the energy that you want to bring in now those receptor sites and the cells are filled so other people's energy bounces off because you are already filled so it's like urine energy receiver. You're an energy container right. We don't wanna to receive an energy and give it away receive an energy hold it ourselves. And then we're also energy transmitters and that's where the ways that we talked about we transmit energy by the words that we say by the thoughts that we think by the motions by the actions that we take by the perspective and all of that then by law of attraction comes back to us because if everything is waves of energy and it is quantum physics has shown it. Modern science has shown it. Einstein talked about it rate. Everything's waves and particles of energy. If we're the ones creating our reality by what we're sending out were the ones that are mastering our

Meditation can benefit you so much with anxiety in particular is because when you're feeling stressed and anxious the thoughts and feelings are focused on. What's going on out there around you out in the world and we can always control that especially these days so when you begin to interior is directing your focus more inward on your breath on where you are at this moment on noticing how you feel in your body and the emotions. You're feeling then you begin this process of coming back to yourself. Your true potential as you said with your eyes closed end gently uplifted with your spine. Straight and noticing where you're holding tension in your body identifying emotions that may be associated with that tension or tightness beginning to unravel and recognize where this tension tightness is coming from. This is the process where you begin to realize you have power and you have control. You can calm your mind and body with your. Perhaps as you inhale through your nose. Feeling your optimum gently rise upward as you exhale and feel it sink back downward your emotions follow their rhythm and flow. If your breath calming year breath allows you to calm those anxious thoughts that pull you out into the world. Your breath brings you back to yourself as you inhale and exa through year knows.
