Christopher Wray Stays Silent on Insurrection of McCarthy's Office
"Jack squat. You know how easy it would be for the FBI to come out today if the director of the FBI Christopher Ray had any balls at all for them to come out today and say, listen, we have taken a hard against this kind of behavior. We made it clear on January 6th if asked to leave and you don't that that your right to petition the government is ended because you're now trespassing. These people engaged in that behavior. They we're were asked to leave. Therefore, we've got wanted posters out and we're going to be conducting interviews and arrests today. You know, I got to tell you, for as crazy as the FBI's reputation, how crazy fast it's gone downhill, there'd be a lot of people like, wow, maybe they're serious about this stuff. We had any statements from the FBI, but I haven't seen it. I haven't seen it. Jim and Mike, I'm dead serious. I might even mess with you. See, have you guys seen anything? If you see it, let me know. I'm not here to like trash them unnecessarily. Has there been a statement about this? The insurrection in McCarthy's seen anything. Someone should check their Twitter or something like that. They usually put out statements there. I haven't seen a damn thing. Not that I would forgive the FBI for Spygate, Impeachment Gate, Ukraine Gate, everything else that happened. But at least I'd say, all right, well, maybe they're serious about, as Kyle says, leaning into their joke of a reputation of fixing it. I haven't seen squat. Not a single statement.

Kyle Seraphin: Multiple Field Offices Tied to Targeting of Catholics
"Bothers me. But let me get to this because this is what I wanted to have you on to talk about. The FBI they just cannot seem to tell the truth. I mean this is beyond embarrassing at this point. So you blew the whistle along with others on a number of cases. The targeting of Catholics, the targeting of parents at school boards, pro -lifers and other things. it But turns out yesterday the FBI was lying again. That Christopher Wray said oh yeah this targeting of Catholics was an isolated memo limited to the Richmond field office whatever it was. And that was it. Our bad. We rescinded away. it right But that's not the story Kyle. The story is actually a little deeper. Apparently there were multiple field offices involved. What's your take on this? Well there's a couple things involved. Number one the Los Angeles field office was involved and so was Portland. And I worked cases out of the Los Angeles field office as a surveillance guy. We actually went and ran down white supremacist cases. They seemed very thin but that was something that they loved. And of course the document was trying to tie Catholics to white supremacists. So that sort of fits an ideological bent that I've seen. Portland was a disaster which I went in 2020 in September just after the 100 days of riots when there was the next whatever 50 of them in a row. And they've at a got pretty a radical bend. They told us that Antifa was just an idea. I actually heard FBI analysts saying those words to my face while we're sitting there. We just got called across the country to go investigate them. It's an idea you know. So there's some pretty interesting radical things ever going on. Now we have both coasts involved, the East and West coasts. And as you said, Chris Ray simply doesn't tell the truth. And the biggest takeaway, and I just keep going back to that first interview you and I did, when I looked at the FBI as an intelligence agency, they say it too. They put it in official documents and responding to people for FOIA. They have it in the Diog, which is their, their domestic manual for how to operate and do investigations. And the director FBI holds himself to that accountability. He has intelligence. He's not going to share it. He doesn't feel like he needs to. And if he goes out there and says a fudge, he's probably going to be able to hide behind some wording because of the way he actually

Mike Gallagher Podcast
A highlight from The Mike and Mark Davis Daily Chat - 07/20/23
"Happy birthday, Kim. When I say being nice to her, I wanted to do this instead of one of the fingernails on a blackboard songs of my entire life, Betty Davis Eyes. Yikes. I don't know what it is about it. I just don't know what it is about it. It is kryptonite to me. Do you have a problem with Betty Davis? No. Do you ever see Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? I love Betty Davis. Martin Short. I heard Martin Short on a podcast talking to somebody, I think Conan, talking about how he was on Johnny Carson. And this kind of television will never happen again, where you have an evening of TV and somebody with the heft of Johnny Carson is talking to Betty Davis and then bringing in the hot fresh new talent that is Martin Short. And I think someone I don't know who had dared Martin Short, I'll give you $100, if you will do a Betty Davis impersonation to Betty Davis. And so he comes in and looks over at Betty. And this is so weird because the guests, when you're done as a guest, you don't leave. You just move down the couch, which is also a strange thing. Martin Short leans over and says, well, it's certainly a pleasure to meet you. And she has no idea. She says, well, it's wonderful to meet you as well. I mean, she has no idea that Martin Short is actually dead. And he starts doing some impressions and then Betty Davis leans over and says, well, could you do me? It's like, OK, just one of those late night stories of the time you'll never get again. Martin Short is, I believe, the funniest guy in the universe. So talented. He has a character named Jiminy Glick. And I swear he patterned, he's a closet Mike Gallagher Show listener because he patterned Jiminy Glick after me. Let me go through the list of comparisons. First of all, he never met a donut he didn't like. Jiminy Glick is married to like Dee Dee. And of course, I was married to Denise. He's got four sons, Matthew, Modine, Michael and they're all with like them. And of course, I have Micah, Matthew, Trevor and Brian. And he's an egotistical blowhard. So there's that, too. I think he absolutely patterned Jiminy Glick. But have you ever seen the Jiminy Glick interviews? I mean, he's this big fat. Yes, the prosthetics are just amazing. With the oversized glasses and he's shoving donuts in his mouth while he's interviewing all these stars. And it's I mean, he he had a one man show on Broadway once that that I saw that was just one of the best things I'd ever. He's a funny, funny guy. Real, real. All right. Well, speaking of gems. So yesterday we've got the IRS whistleblowers who proved over and over again that the entire Biden family is sorry, garbage. The same goes for rotten Merrick Garland and the corrupt Christopher Wray. And of course, do you realize that CNN, MSNBC, the mainstream media, they didn't touch it? They didn't touch the whistle mark testimony. Can you imagine? I thought they I thought the left like whistleblowers. They like some whistleblowers.

He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here. Brought to you by the loan experts I trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandtodd .com. Who runs the country? Do the people run the government or do the government largely run the people? The American founders established a system. They established a form of government. There should be three branches. They should check and balance one another. The complaints laid out in the Declaration of Independence that we celebrated on July 4th were largely addressed and solved at the ratification of the Constitution. The Constitution did not come ex nihilo. It did not come out of nothing. It came through an English constitutional republic tradition. It came from Roman Republican influences. Came through the study of the classics. Came through an understanding of what is a human being. How are we able to interact with one another? Biblical principles. The Constitution understood that your rights do not come from government. Your rights are given to you by God or your creator. It says very clearly in the Declaration the laws of nature and nature is God. God is mentioned four times in the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution understood that there must be first and foremost rules for government, not rules for people. In fact, it said a government shall not be able to shut you up, shall not be able to take weapons, shall not put soldiers in your home, shall not be able to spy on you, shall not be able to detain you indefinitely without a speedy trial. The United States Constitution and the following bill of rights that was ratified in 1791 was the great leap forward in self -government. That all changed with Woodrow Wilson. Woodrow Wilson, one of America's worst presidents, an evil maniacal man who actually his wife was largely running the White House towards the end of his presidency, former college professor and former president of Princeton University and governor of New Jersey, basically the accidental president who became president in 1912 when Teddy Roosevelt decided to run the Bull Moose party and primary William Howard Taft running three parties and Woodrow Wilson won with a plurality not a majority of votes. Woodrow Wilson threw away the Constitution and the promise of the founders. He said, we're more advanced than this. Blake, can you find that exact quote from Woodrow Wilson? He was more eloquent than that but I'm summarizing it rather bluntly. Woodrow Wilson basically said, we know what we want. Why do we need all these checks and balances? That government should work like a machine. It should work administratively and with that he birthed the bureaucracies, the desk workers, the administrative state. Now America was a very free country back then. You can make a lot of arguments, well we needed a department of labor and we need department of this and department of that and the entrepreneurs, the creators, the soon risk takers became outnumbered by the desk workers. The administrative state, the deep state, was exploded under Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Woodrow Wilson said, quote, the Constitution was founded on the law of gravitation. The government was to exist and move by virtue of efficacy of checks and balances. The trouble with the theory is that government is not a machine but a living thing. No living thing can have its organs offset against each other as checks and live. Woodrow Wilson made the argument, this idea of checks and balances, the tension, the slow arduous process of government, we need no more of that, we need the harmony of government and thus a fourth branch was born in defiance, a middle finger to Madison, John Jay and Hamilton. Woodrow Wilson expanded the administrative state and the administrative state was involved in displacing presidents. According to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the administrative state killed JFK. The administrative state took out Richard Nixon. The administrative state controlled Reagan in some sense, controlled H .W. Bush. H .W. Bush was actually a product of the administrative state. He ran the CIA before he became vice president then president. Bill Clinton, George W. Bush did whatever the administrative state wanted. Barack Obama quickly learned a lesson, you know, he ran a very populist campaign, we're going to reform government, we're going to restore power to the people. And made Obama a very quick realization, I'm not going to war with this, I want to last all eight years and I want a Netflix deal and I don't want to get shot in a convertible and I don't want to be removed from office like Richard Nixon. What do you want admin state? And I will do as you wish. The one president who decided to wage war in the administrative state was Donald Trump. He ran against it, he said he's going to drain the swamp, he wasn't going to put up with it. Donald Trump built things in his life for 40 years in New York City, big buildings, saved Central Park, saved Wollman Rink, the New York Convention Center. And so the administrative state for him it didn't make sense, he said where is this in the Constitution, it's getting in the way of self -government. And then of course Chuck Schumer, the clip that we've played many times on this program that we might play again, comes out and he said, for a very shrewd businessman, he's being really dumb because the CIA has six ways from Sunday to get back at you. Now the administrative state, you can call it the deep state, you can call it the shadow government, they outnumber the people's representation. Congress is supposed to be the people's representation in D .C. and we don't do a very good job of it, but we're doing better. We gave the House Republicans a majority, we have some great fighters there, we have Thomas Massie who does a good job against the administrative state, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz who's terrific, who's going to join us in a little bit. If an unelected bureaucracy has any power at all to take out actual elected and appointed members of government, they are too powerful and it's against the promise of representative government. Yesterday Christopher Wray testified and something quite rare happened. In real time, you saw representative government versus administrative government collide and it was so clear who actually runs this country. It is clear that we are no longer a country of the sovereign of the people. The new sovereign are the unelected, arrogant, smug members of the plutocracy of the Kingdom of Washington D .C. Christopher Wray believes he's better than you, he's untouchable, he runs the secret police, he is the head of the Stasi, he can spy on you, warn you, get you arrested, he flies on Gulf Streams at his liking, he's going to outlast any politician, he is a permanent installation of the bureaucracy. Here's Cut 85, Christopher Wray forgetting information, unaware of information, unable to talk about information. Does this strike you as someone who is afraid of congressional oversight? Play Cut 85. I can't remember the dates. Again, I just can't speak to that here. I'm not an expert. I'm not sure yet. I would really have to see more closely. I'm not sure that I can give you that number. I can't get into. I'm not aware of any such evidence. Not going to speak to that. I'll decline to comment further. I will work with the department to make sure we can figure out what information we can provide. Again, I'm not going to get into that here. Well, again, I don't want to speculate. I can't speak to the specifics. I can't speak to the specifics. The founders intent was never to have this fourth branch of government. It's totally unnecessary, but it fits a trend, a trend of humanity that you might have liberty and self -government. But over time, the failure to pass down those values to one generation to the other, the people slip and they slip and they slip and they clamor and they clamor. It's the same trajectory the Hebrews went on in the Old Testament. Congress's job is oversight and accountability. Wray wants nothing to do with it, but you could just tell. He's just like, I'm in charge. He's probably thinking to himself, I have dirt on all of you, Gates. He believes he is supreme, better than, above, superior. Remember, J. Edgar Hoover luxuriated in that exact same power and hubris. I'm going to play more from the hearing in a second. It's noteworthy because some of our superstars did very well, but Christopher Wray sits atop the throne. The American people don't any longer. So what is on the ballot in 2024? What is at stake in this next election? This won't necessarily resonate with, you know, non -political voters, but this is important with repeating. It is a philosophical election of what form of government do you want? If you vote for the American Democrat Party and Joe Biden, you do not believe in self -government. You believe in a permanent oligarchy. You believe in dozens of Christopher Wray's philosopher kings that have outright authority over you. Donald Trump is the only candidate in the race, maybe Vivek Ramaswamy and others. DeSantis has talked a good game on this, to his credit, but there's a reason why he's indicting him. And I'll show you contrast because the traditional Republican view is to cozy up to these intel agencies. They're doing good work. They're keeping us safe. How? Are you guys going after child sex traffickers or are you going after political dissidents? Like before you, I don't know, indict Rudy Giuliani or raid James O 'Keeffe's home or go after Steve Bannon, why don't you go after the human smugglers that are highlighted in Sound of Freedom? Chris Christie goes on television to defend Christopher Wray. This is the unit party position. This is the orthodoxy. The FBI is necessary. This is showmanship. Play cut 79. I want to respond to something that Chris Christie said on Fox News earlier today. He said that Christopher Wray had delivered extraordinary results. The problem is they're just extraordinarily awful. And like Chris Christie criticized us for engaging in fundraising theater during this committee. And I'm not going to take my notes on fundraising from a guy who was a lobbyist and was snout down in the lobbyist financial money laundering situation when he was raising money from them as governor of New Jersey. So I'm more likely to take like Chris Christie's exercise plan than I am his fundraising strategy. I think that's Gates on Fox News. That wasn't a clip. I could tell immediately person's way too skinny to be Chris Christie's. I could see it right on there. OK, I think it's 78. I don't know what's going on here. Play cut 78. What you saw today, I think, was an animated and combative FBI director who's defending the men and women who work for him every day and do a great job and protect us from domestic terrorism, from international terrorism and from these drug cartels and are helping state and local law enforcement every day with their things. So, yeah, I think Chris Ray has done a very good job. And I think, Luke, a lot of the stuff you see today, John, is theater. The people trying to raise money for campaigns doesn't mean there are problems at the FBI. There are. But I believe Chris is a guy who can get it fixed and he's fixed a lot of them already. Chris Christie represents a Republican vision. Again, he has no political support, but it's there. Donors love this. Some donors love Chris Christie. He's going to raise a ton of money, already has, which is we should make friends with the regime. We should cozy up to the UN party. Eat me last. I want to get invited to the parties. The administrative state can help me help me get contracts, help protect me. What form of government do you want? Mike Pence, remember, defended the Department of Justice. Chris Christie defends the Department of Justice and the FBI because they just don't want to get indicted and they want a comfortable life. They want a life that they can feel good. Oh, I'm on the right side of history. So who is sovereign in this country? Founders and the promise of 1776 and 1787 and 1791 is the people are sovereign. That country no longer exists. And you could see it, by the way, we're going to play more and more tape. We have Matt Gaetz coming up next. Just the smugness, the smugness, the lack of wanting to answer questions. Let me just give you another here. Christopher Wright asked by pick pick your pick your fighter ISA. How many people were there on January 6? He doesn't need to answer. He doesn't care. He's not afraid of Congress, but Congress is afraid of him. Makes you think how much blackmail Christopher and the FBI has on these members of Congress. Play cut 67. How many individuals were either FBI employees or people that the FBI had made contact with were in the January 6th entry of the Capitol and surrounding area? So I really need to be careful here talking about where we have or have not used confidential human sources. Was there one or more? Was there one or more individuals that would fit that description on January 6th that were in or around the Capitol? I can't again, I just can't speak to that here. You can't speak to it because I don't work for you, Darryl ISA. I don't work for the people. I'm the king. I run the secret police. Do you know who you're talking to? I'm the guy that gets to put you in jail. I am the law. Silly Congress person that's to deal with elections.

"Go ahead. But let's now go to what the court said. The court said it was over 200 ,000 that have occurred on your watch. Do you have any basis to disagree with that assessment? Again I don't have the numbers I sit here right now. It seems like a number you should know. How many times the FBI is breaking the law under your watch? Yeah let's pretend it's 197 ,000. Does that does that make you happy? What have you done? Chris Christie will tell us you kinds have all of reforms in place. What are they big boy? What are they Hindenburg? He has no friggin idea. He's a bloody ass. But I do want to play another Democrat, Jamie Raskin, Former Mr. constitutional professor, George Washington University. He did on all the impeachments on Trump. Kash Patel: Could Congress Subpoena Hunter Biden?
"But a scam, I know. Cash, there was another one, too, I caught in this. If you look at the AUSA, which is named Weiss, at the end of the document, they're talking about it now and cable actually just a few minutes ago as well. He puts it this is an ongoing investigation in the Hunter. I believe absolutely none of that. This is not an ongoing investigation. What they put that you're laughing because you know why that's in there. That's in there. So they can Stonewall Congress and say, oh, no, no, the case isn't closed. Yeah, he pled to that. But the case isn't closed. It's ongoing. We don't want to give you information. Look, you have to give them respect for the evil ingenuity these guys come up with to continue to destroy by our system of justice. Look, me and you have been talking about this. I call this like two months ago that he was going to roll into a our plea agreement. It's all over Truth Social and that they were going to put it into a global plea, but they were going to have one hitch. He was going to be, quote unquote, investigated after this matter. And here's the kicker. The guy who is at Congress and did the Russiagate investigation. If our guys in Congress really want to take it to the match and hold DOJ and FBI case in this of the count, they will call Hunter Biden in under subpoena and they will force feed him an immunity deal where he cannot be prosecuted for what he turns over, which he's required to under a subpoena of the United States Congress. It's almost never done, but that's what this Congress needs to do to short circuit this ruse that's being put out by Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray, because they are going to sit back and just continue to say, oh, sorry, to nothing see here. "News. It's four 15. I'm Hillary Howard. And I'm Sean Anderson. Thanks for being with us. House speaker Kevin McCarthy is warning he would move on contempt charges against FBI director Christopher wray. That is, if the FBI later doesn't produce a subpoena document. Republican House oversight chair James comer issued a subpoena earlier this month to compel ray to produce the records by close of business today. Well, joining us live on Skype CBS senior investigative correspondent Katherine herridge good to have you back, Catherine. Thank you so much. Thanks, as always, for having me. So what have you learned about the FBI records that are at the heart of this dispute? Well, the record is called an FD ten, 23. This is an FBI interview summary, not for walk ins, but typically with confidential human sources. And in this case, the Republican members of Congress are alleging that there is an interview summary about an allegation of a bribery scheme involving then vice and a foreign national in effect money for policy changes. The White House has called the efforts to get this record, an unfounded political attack. A Catherine, how quickly could the house move on contempt? Well, there's going to be a meeting on Wednesday that's been a phone call that's been scheduled by Republican senator chuck grassley, along with the FBI director and congressman comer. And I think that meeting is really going to decide how quickly congressman comer moves on contempt. He's already said that if the document is not provided by the close of business today, Tuesday that he would move very swiftly for the record. So what is the FBI saying about all this? You know, the FBI is in a very difficult position. I know just going back to 9 11 with then FBI director Robert Mueller always the confidential human sources for on a very close hold and the FBI is making the same argument this time that releasing this kind of information or details about the information could compromise sources and methods and put lives at risk. They want to cooperate with Congress, Congress says they have a legitimate oversight rule, especially because this information appears to overlap and touch with the Hunter Biden investigation. Hey, Catherine, thanks so much. Of course. CBS senior investigative correspondent Catherine herridge

Sen. James Lankford: Outrage Over the FBI Targeting Catholics
"I know you're a Christian man as am I and these attacks on the Catholics that coming from the FBI infiltrating the I'd love to get your take on that. Yeah, I actually met with Christopher wray on that exact issue and said, what in the world happened? He said, this is a single field office. This is something we checked. We pulled it immediately. We put in process to make sure that's not happening again. My question is, what is happening among rank and file that people would think this is a good idea to be able to say, hey, watch out for those traditional Catholics because they may all be domestic terrorists. That is insanity that that's in the process that they feel like this is what the Biden administration would want to put out. What's even more so is Marco Rubio and IRS talking because the Catholics were kicked out of Walter Reed for doing services for Catholic service members, the week before holy week. But the week before Easter, they were kicked out and they put it into a for profit other organization that then had to go find Catholic priests to be able to help. So we're asking the simple question, why would you do that? And we're walking through to be able to make sure that this administration honors basic religious liberty of every individual of every faith and that that's protected.

Congressman Mike Johnson Lays Out a Chilling Story of FBI Spying
"Mike Johnson, who is the vice chairman of House Republicans. There's a great job. Congressman joins us rejoins us. He was with us recently. Congressman welcome back to the program. Tell us about this story. The FBI saw it to develop sources in Catholic churches, is it fair to say that possibly on Easter Sunday, the FBI had informants in plants at Catholic mass services across the country. It's a great question, Charlie, and we don't know. I mean, this sounds like something that's surreal, something that's made up, but we have the documents. We have whistleblowers within the FBI that have given us the information. And we know that the Richmond field office of the FBI. This is where it was originally begun. They sought to reach out to Catholic clergy and church leadership to recruit sources inside the churches so that they could monitor and report on their parishioners. It sounds, but that's what the government is engaged in. The FBI generated this memo in the Richmond field office, it was distributed to field offices around the country and Jim Jordan and I on the web position committee and House judiciary committee are pursuing this vigorously because we are demanding to answers to see how far and wide this went, how much damage was done. We just don't know yet. So, I mean, our audience is fired up over this and many other topics. An idea that has been floated is called fencing off the money, congressman, which for example, you might say, okay, we might not be able to close the FBI, nor do I know if they do some good work, obviously. But I mean, a lot of it should be shut down as a political operation. But fencing off the money would be something closer to, hey, all right, Christopher wray, you used the private jet to go to the adirondacks. That's going to be put on pause until we get actual answers and people are fired. Are these ideas being floated by you guys in House leadership at this time? Because at least that could put their the line items that the agency heads care about the most and you actually might be able to get answers. Yes. I mean, the short answer is yes. We talked about a couple weeks ago, you know, our hands are tied in some respect. We're just as frustrated as everybody else believe me. We've been chomping at the bit for the last couple of years to get a shot at this oversight, which is a critical constitutional responsibility that we have. You know. But we just got a majority in January and we just got subpoenaed power later that month. And so we're only a couple of months to three months into this right now. We're getting it up as quick as we can. Now, we can investigate, we can uncover these abuses and lay it bare for the American people to judge for themselves and then ultimately we have to reform these practices in abuses to make sure they never happen again,

Did the FBI Have Informants on Jan. 6?
"Here's Christopher wray when he was asked directly this question his response Check this out There's a suggestion for example that the FBI's confidential human sources or FBI employees in some way instigated orchestrated January 6th That's categorically false Did you have confidential human sources dressed as Trump supporters inside the capitol on January 6th prior to the doors being open Again I had to be very careful It should be a no I mean it's a pretty simple pretty simple question Who is that congressman Is that Higgins That is it Are you okay You're going to die Jim seriously look like he was going to choke to that I was ready to go right to break Mike if you standing by really you ready to do the heimlich maneuver on this guy Yeah good I asked him a question at the wrong time Folks it's kind of a serious question Did the FBI have informants Now again don't get confused here The confidential human source is not necessarily mean it's a government agent They may be acting on behalf of the government but they're not a formal agent as a GS 1811 government agent It could have been say a member of a proud boy group or whatever it is that may have flipped and what they call third states evidence whatever they say in the movies But this letter from one of the lawyers from one of the Proud Boys I don't care if you're a liberal communist Democrat whatever you are This letter should be deeply disturbing because if this letter is true the allegation from one of the attorneys for one of the defendants if this letter is true that the FBI had sources on January 6th in there and some of these sources are still gleaning information from the defense team Then again forget arguments about the coming police state The argument about the police state which I've been making for weeks is that it's already here

All right, so what I was telling you about the Hunter Biden laptop, we were telling you about the $3 million that would split in three ways between the Biden crime family. There was another partner involved whose name escapes me at this point. I'll get that back to you later. Halle Biden is the new Biden member that got a little bit of that Chinese communist cash. And then there's still an unknown Biden. So we'll have to wait and see if Joe Biden is named, but listen, we know that Hunter Biden is not going to make money, we're not for his dad being the vice president or being the president of the United States. Now, they pick on this guy, John Mack Isaac. Isaac said a man who believed who he believed to be Hunter Biden dropped off three laptops, all right? At his store, this was in April 2019, only one was salvageable. He repaired the laptop, and then that's where he when he discovered the disturbing material. He said the customer did not return. We now know that customer is Hunter Biden for 90 days, all right? He couldn't get in touch with him. So Isaac said he first searched the emails by key word in June or July of 2019, according to Isaac's account, the FBI first made a forensic copy of the laptop, then returned weeks later with the subpoena to confiscate the laptop. When he stopped hearing from the FBI, the FBI, they're still holding the laptop to this day. You know, ran by Christopher wray, the not so not so moral FBI today. When he stopped hearing from the FBI, Isaac said he contacted several members of Congress. They just simply didn't respond. They didn't respond. So at that point, his intermediary reached out to Rudy Giuliani's attorney, Robert Costello. Now, Hunter Biden has seemingly acknowledged our admitted that the laptop was his back in February of this year or last month, but I don't know what gave it away. I don't know if it was his body naked body being all over the freaking thing that gave it away or what, but he finally admitted to it. These people are morons.

"The origins of a COVID-19, which has not been covered. In fact, if one would voice the opinion two years ago that it came from a Wuhan lab, you would be sanctioned the mainstream media would say you're a conspiratorial theorist that maybe think the earth is flat and the revisited by aliens. Now the FBI, Christopher wray, the director, who's doing a lousy job, by the way, about 5 or 6 days ago in the Congress said that and his opinion that it came from the lab and not from some wet bat or some odd creature in a wet and a wet market somewhere in Wuhan and a man's going to unfurl this thing and hopefully get it done to find the truth and how much money doctor Anthony Fauci made and why is he hitting the truth from us, things of that character is the honorable doctor Brad winstrop select committee chairman and Brad winstrop congressman, welcome again to Bill Cunningham show and some are complaining that you and Jim Jordan are going too slow. I watched, it was either Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity a few nights ago. And I said, wait a minute Less than 60 days, give him some time. So what is the purpose of your subcommittee? And what do you hope to learn about, which is going to be the truth? Well, you know, in the big picture, this subcommittee is a huge after action review and lessons learned of everything that's happened in the last three years. And some even before that, and to create a better path forward and have us ready. And in some ways, I say what I hope to do at the end just produce a product that will enable us to predict, prepare for, protect ourselves from and prevent a pandemic if we can't. We're going to be looking at the responses, how it affected us, economically. We're going to look at vaccines and treatments. We're going to look at the roles of our agencies. The effects of the lockdowns, the effects on education, our supply chain. What kind of data we're really collecting through all this scientific data, which is a physician that's extremely important. And we did a horrible job of it. You know, did we really record adverse reactions very well to the vaccines? And where we relating it to physicians. But obviously one of the big ones that everyone has interest in, especially me. I sit on intelligence committee, and I've been studying the origins of COVID since the very beginning. In some ways, I found out about it accidentally because when the pandemic started and we were locked down, I started doing research with another doctor, and we were finding all kinds of things from open-source, like in 2012, Anthony Fauci came out and was talking about gain of function research or creation of a chimera where you take two viruses and then create one that's more infectious. And he, I think, felt at that time as we can do this and create a vaccine for it. Then there's nothing we can't cure. And he was even asked, weren't you worried about it getting out of lab and being in creating a pandemic? And he said, no, I think the benefits outweigh the risk. But look, he was, he was sending the money out from NIH to places like eco health alliance. And that were then working with the Chinese in their lab in Wuhan to work with coronaviruses. They're going to be doing a lot of denying. And you mentioned a second ago, a bill about conspiracies. I mean, I've had enough of it. And as I'm taking on this position, liberal media and that keep time by Republicans, you're not going to come up with more conspiracy theories. Are you on? And as I said on one interview today, it's like you called the lab leak a conspiracy theory, and now we have what appears to be two agencies coming out saying it does look like the lab, which I had felt for some time because too many of the breadcrumbs go towards the lab. A lot of that information is classified. I hope we can declassify it at some time. I do think the market may very well have been the first super spreader. But you know, you also have to look at other things, Bill. In 2005, our own State Department said that the Chinese were looking at bioweapons. And in 2015, they wrote about genetic weapons from their academy of military medical science. So they've been looking at this type of stuff for some time. And in 2015, is when the article was published between the U.S. and the China about the creation of a chimera. But through all this, we put out a memo today just as we're starting to unravel things that we can put out publicly and some of this information comes from things we got in 2021, some we got last month, some we got through freedom of information act. Some open-source. But let me just take you through some things that really have not been out in the public. Some of this has. January 31st of 20, Kristen Anderson emails Fauci and says this thing looks engineered. Now these are the scientists involved. Yet three days later, they get together and they said, we're going to have to get together and write a paper. We're going to call it proximal origins. And it's also been noted in some of the documents where they said that this was prompted. Their words prompted by doctor for our Doctor Fauci and doctor Collins. On February 4th, they start this process. On February 8th, Anderson is now known and it's in the documents to have said that he is spending his time focusing on disproving the lab theory. Why? Why? Why? Why? Exactly. Well, we need to get to those motives, right? April. Yeah, go ahead. Please go ahead. I'm going to answer this question. As an American sitting back, I want to know where it came from. Now, why does official Washington and this began with the Trump administration and it was metastasizing under Biden? Why is it a term of art to say it came from a wet market and not from the lab? Is it because we funded a lot of the research to create the COVID-19 has it because too many business interests want to blame a wet bat in a cave and not virology Wuhan institute? What is the motivation not to tell us the truth going back almost three years? What's the reason not to tell us the truth? Well, I'll take you right up to that point in about a minute and a half. Okay. But let me please what I was saying. So April of 20, Collins emails Fauci and says that the proximal origins paper that they came out with that said it came from nature, didn't do enough to put down the lab theory. And so Fauci goes out in The White House lawn says it came from nature, and they were basing it on. They found a sequence in a pangolin that was consistent with what is in the sequences of COVID-19. So that's where they say, oh, look, it's consistent with some of the sequences in nature. Well, they never found any animal in nature that had COVID-19. But at the same time, and this is important at the same time as they're saying this to the public, privately, they're saying there's no evidence that this pangolin sequence is related to COVID-19 at all. Or the pangolin coronaviruses. So Fauci comes out and says it. So what happens June 1st? Daszak sends an email to Fauci saying thank you so much for coming out and saying it came from nature. Now who's Daszak, he's with eco health alliance. He's getting NIH grants, and then we're doing coronavirus research in China. What's the motive? Well, you know, I think Marty makary said it pretty well, doctor Marty mccarry, the roundtable, our committee had last week. And he said, I believe that and I'm paraphrasing here that if we had not been doing research in China, of this type, there's probably no one in America that would be thinking that this came from anywhere but the lab in China. Sure. And I think that and I think that's logical. But here you have people if you're responsible for creating a virus that went on to kill hundreds of thousands of people across the globe, wouldn't you possibly have some motive to want to say that it didn't come from you

Did you get to watch all of it? I did, and I was actually shouting follow-up questions at the television. I felt like an insane person. Why didn't he do? Do people not understand the concept in Congress and in the media? They don't understand the concept of follow-up questions. His best questions I thought came from the people who were tweeting the questions and he would ask. He would ask some pretty solid questions, but there were so many missed opportunities for follow-up. And I will tell you that the field is not big. I do like Brett bear most of the time I think that he tries to be down the middle. Politician Freudian slip, but a journalist, but it was disheartening because there were so many opportunities for follow-up. And especially when it came, I think the big glaring one for me was whether or not they had undercover people at the capitol. There should have been more questioning about that. He obviously alluded to yes. I mean, my goodness, if anybody listened to Christopher wray and his answer to the question about whether or not they were agents in place at the capitol, the answer from him was yes in the way that he evaded the question. So there is so much more and there's so much more about how people have been arrested why trials have taken so long there's just been so there were so many missed spots, I thought I was a little disappointed in the interview, but it was funny because in the morning answer today we had a little disagreement with my co host granted. "It was an artificial source? Well, because two major intelligence agencies are now saying this, again, we only have a Wall Street Journal report to say that this energy department report exists. They haven't confirmed it nor is The White House. However, the FBI has indeed confirmed that they feel the same way that it came from a lab leak and whereas the energy department assessment on this is low confidence according to this report. It's more of a medium confidence from FBI director Christopher wray, who we had not heard from publicly say this until he gave an exclusive interview to Fox News and saying that the COVID virus most likely originated from a potential lab incident. That's what he called it. In Wuhan, China. Now he wasn't more specific about what that incident is, but he did imply that these labs are designed for one thing, and that is to find ways to either protect against viruses or perhaps weaponize them. Now, there's no indication that that is what China did that they decided they're going to make this COVID disease as a weapon and send it out into the world because if it did, it ended up killing a whole lot of its own people, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. So the theory is now that there was something that leaked from this lab, it doesn't absolutely dispel the other theories which four other U.S. intelligence agencies say are most likely. And that is, is that it was animal to human transmission. It could have been animal to human transmission inside that lab in experiments they were doing. So without China's cooperation, it's not clear that we'll ever get to the bottom of this here and certainly China is not cooperating. However, it is crying foul by these assessments that somehow their lab was responsible for millions of deaths around the world. They're saying it's slander and it's not true. The United States and other countries are saying, okay, prove it. So what is China doing then? Obviously, they're denying this. Have they launched their own investigation into that Wuhan center for virology or what are they doing? Well, they might not have to launch an investigation if they know the answer to it. That's number one. And number two, we don't know what they're doing. They keep saying, they're insistence was that it was animal to human transmission that it spread pretty quickly and China that its government and its scientists are not to blame for that, but that's not what we're getting from at least two major agencies here in the United States. In the meantime, there are a lot of Republicans and even growing number of Democrats who are very, very angry with China. This is Bloomberg, Brian. Denise, thank you. I wanted to pick up on that white paper and provide some further perspective here. As Denise mentioned, it's the first document of its kind in two decades. From Xinhua, the title of the paper is the Taiwan question and China's reunification in the new era. Xinhua says that it will give a significant boost efforts to pool strength for national reunification and what it calls rejuvenation. The global times in its take on this gets a little juicier here. It plays up this angle, we are one China and Taiwan is part of China. This is an indisputable fact supported by history and the law. Taiwan has never been a state. Its status as part of China is unalterable. It goes on to quote analysts as saying the white paper is released is a warning to Taiwan authorities as well as external forces. That China is much stronger now to quote solve the Taiwan question. The South China morning post has a slightly more nuanced look. It says the white paper has messages for home and abroad. It highlights this angle. The China says it has the greatest sincerity for peaceful, unification with Taiwan. The white paper is suggests it says intervention by the PLA is a last resort. It's the clearest statement of intent since Nancy Pelosi's visit to the island. Meantime, we wanted to also take a closer look at the U.S. India military drills that will be held near the disputed border region with China. From the post, senior Indian Army officer is confirming the joint exercise the first since 2002, it will take place in the Himalayas in October, and it will focus on high altitude warfare training. China maintains a military presence along the western border, state media reported the PLA's Tibet military district had conducted a live fire air defense drill. 8 minutes before the top of the hour, that should check if the media will do it again in one hour. We're shot. Okay, well, joining us now is that Gita ranganathan Bloomberg intelligence tech and media and it's having a look at Disney earnings, which came out essentially beat. We do have them topping those profit views, but it's also raising the price of its flagship Disney+ streaming service. It's ad free version anyway by 38% all designed to generate more revenue. Get that, what did you make of the overall picture that Disney actually drew? So the overall picture in my view Rashad was very, very strong. So we saw them come ahead of their streaming subscriber guidance. We were expecting about 10 million subscript new subscribers. They delivered about 14.4 million. They confirmed that they're seeing an acceleration in that course of core subscription product through fiscal fourth quarter. So expect all their new content launches as well as their new market launches to kind of bear fruit as they finish out this fiscal year in September. And then the question that the market has really been asking, which is do these streaming services have pricing power and Disney seems to think it does. There are obviously, as you just pointed out, they're raising their prices by 38%, but they're also kind of cushioning that blow a little bit because they're offering on December 8th. They're going to debut an ad supported service at the same time, which basically means that anybody who wants to maybe cut back on their expenses has that option, and so they're going to try and control churn in that way. So it's a statement of confidence. They're adding subscribers and they're raising prices. And in the market has picked up on this. It was already up 4% in the regular session, and as Doug mentioned, gaining 6.8% in after hours and in fact of late, it has outperformed peers and it's also outperformed the S&P 500. So that's all well and good, but the stock was down pretty hard earlier. And one question remains, you know, the parks are looking good and all that, but does that continue if you go to recession? Probably not. Yeah, that's a very, very important question, Brian. And I think they were asked this question repeatedly on the call about any signs of softening that they're seeing with consumer spending and their resounding answer and they kept repeating this was no. And that even if there was a slight softening, which I think is inevitable, they have multiple levers to keep that profit machine running. So what they've done is they have instituted they've kind of taken their or they've used the pandemic, they've used that time really wisely to kind of implement all of these operational efficiencies. They have this new reservation system. They have this new virtual assistant called Genie plus, which basically reduces waiting times in lines. So they have all these things which kind of improve their real management kind of spread out attendance, smoothing out any peaks and valleys, and what that has done is that has really kind of boosted profits immensely. And so we're seeing operating margins that are way higher than pre-pandemic levels. And now what they're saying is that they are also seeing the benefit of international visitation kind of kicking in at the domestic parks and that should keep those margins at an elevated level. So is there a possibility that we see a slowdown? Yes, how bad is it going to be? Maybe not too bad because I think they have multiple levers that they can kind of pull well into 2023. The thing is Giza, they have this amazing target for subscriber growth that I think they set this a couple of years ago and they're looking at what to 260 million of them by the fiscal 2024. Yes, they actually did walk that back a little bit. So one of the main growth drivers for subscribers to the Disney+ service has actually been their Indian streaming platform, which is called hot star. And the main reason why hot star has been such a runaway success has been because of the cricket streaming rights that it boasts off. So it's called the Indian Premier League, the IPL cricket. Now, what Disney did is they made a very conscious decision to walk away from the streaming rights for that property because it was way too costly and it was going to kind of mess up their profitability goals. So with that in mind

"Of course, this flies in the face of, um you know, the head of the FBI, Christopher Wray has said. Thieves. They're not. Antifa is not our main concern. What's our main concern is violence from the from The extreme right and that's what we're seeing. Now. Antifa is a thing. It's a very loose collection of, you know, radical Last group. Who fight what they believe to be. Fascism, including the probably president. Most anti fascists would include the president and that And what anti fascist really came on the scene in Portland, where they hot a group called Patriot Prayer and proud Boys who were coming to their cities to fight them in the streets, and so they came out and fought back. Now anti fascism isn't just fighting, although they do do that. What it also is, is what we're seeing. Right now. It's doc sing and shaming people who are aligned with fascist movement. So after the United the right rally in Charlottesville, you saw a lot of antifascist, pointing to people that were at that rally and getting them fired from her job went out of polite society of you say, right showing unmasking them. And so that's what we're seeing it from the capital right now, and I fascist doing that sort of unmasking work. Um, So what happened, though, and what's scary?
