"I'm Christopher Trump in studio today with Matt McGrath in that Robertson. The production studio producing the show for us today. Well, we were talking about trading, which is high frequency buying and selling in the markets. And how that's one of the skill sets that we teach our students at the Trading Academy. Now, the other activity, though, that is important to talk about, as well as of course, investing in the markets. And I think everybody's I think probably everybody that's listening to my voice is familiar with this concept, you take choke of body. You set it, aside, you're going to invest it in the financial markets. So you're buying assets, you'll buy and hold over a great length of time. You're hoping that those appreciate overtime. Yeah. You want to go up in value. Obviously, I think most people are familiar, of course, with the concept of a 4._0._1._K, a lot of Americans have their money then that's their life. Savings that they're checking away in that 4._0._1._K, by the way, I'm not going to be antagonistic. Is that the right word about before one K at I choose the right? Yeah. Fantastic. I mean, negative about the 4._0._1._K. Yeah. I mean to extent, I am going to be okay. So. The coolest thing about the 4._0._1._K, is that if you've got an employer this willing to match any part of your contribution will. That's just an immediate guaranteed return on your money, right? So that's the coolest part about it. The the downside to the 4._0._1._K is that it is a buy and hold investment, meaning that the investments that occupy space, as far as inventory in that 4._0._1._K typically mutual funds are comprised of baskets of stocks, and if the overall return on those companies that are invested in that go down will then the value of your account goes down. Right. If the money is not protected to Klay uniform and one of them, the mutual funds you've chosen when you signed up for the 4._0._1._K go down. We're going to lose money, right? I wanted to ask something else. Chris, you'd mentioned that, you know, the big benefit of 4._0._1._K, obviously, is that the company, typically matches that's free money that they're contributing. Right. So we start off ahead, one of the most alarming things in my career. Here as lately in the trade plan meetings with students, I'm seeing more and more people where they're contributing to their 4._0._1._K, and therefore a one k does not match kit. And I'm here to tell you I just had one of those meetings last week if you're contributing to your four one K and they're.

"People writing about she. Happen. There's a lot of gender play is on in Roman society. But always tends to be portrayed as Michael. But a bunch of ten minutes. I was just about to say actually, if this is going to be any depravity in history is going to be assigned to the Raymond's. And Greeks really, isn't it. Yeah. On a match because you know, they they were openly had same sex relationships that was was an entirely commonplace in society for people do that. And they were transpeople as well. But, you know, people who don't understand friends who will give the, oh, it's it's a gay Mandra, fingers woman, or whatever. So you you have that sort of stuff and menu. Have the whole thing of trans men were certain trans men in history. And you know, if you do research, you encounter them, but there are women writers who insist on raising them and saying, oh, it's just a woman who's dressed up as a man in order to have a career and whatever again completely erasing the potential transmitter. Keep you on the same of talking about the assumption that if a woman dresses up the man that clearly she's doing it for career prospects. I'm does being a recent control see on social media around new book that betrays the nineteenth century surgeon James, Barry as a woman Rothman trans man nine myself did not go missing. I was I was reading about him affectively, they are claiming him and his achievements for feminist cools. I mean, what do you think about that? Because when I researched into James berry, an in my article itself, I refer to James as him. I never referred to is what you said the dead name of his vision. I think was Margaret because at the very end he was very very clear that he wanted to remain as a man than he had all these things in place about oh, well, you know, I don't want my body examined and let just want to be buried in my clothes and things like that. And then for whatever reason it was discovered the he actually theoretically had a female gender. But. They believe the doctor also wrote and said, well, you know, he might have been unheard Aphrodite. So it was impossible to tell why this person decided to James, Barry, and some people said it was full reasons of because they just couldn't get a job as a woman, but you know, that's that's a really big as option. Well, when you're doing Trump history, you have to be very careful about how you look at people from the past because you cannot fit them down and ask them pretty Principe did because they are in the past particularly in the nineteenth century where the possibilities of being Trump's have to raised in western Europe. They wouldn't even have the idea themselves that it was something to do. So you don't know how they feel about themselves. There are also issues in terms of biological examination. Because. Imos days people were much less clued up about interfaith fish shoes on by all today. So somebody examining a dead body and saying this person is female may in fact been looking at an intersex body on not known what they were looking at. So there is not possibility as well. So all of this stuff is unclear as a historian all you can do if say how did this personally beleive, I'm Barra some people. I mean, a good example would be somebody called Mary Fritz who's known as roaring deal who lived in to district Stuart England. It was unclear a play written about her was was still in your twenties. I mean, she she had a career in in crime starting off of pick of it will work in your way up to be a highwayman amend retiring and becoming a prime Lord in. London. And she addresses a minor motor the time. The ritual manuscript the play has a federal grand at the adoring Fairbrother when I stretch across spent original manuscript of the play has drawing of her Inman, clothing smoking pipe, but she was quite up front about the fact that she was a woman who women's clothing begins convenience because it it helped her rule have criminal empire and so on and so forth. Now, James Barry's, a very different person. James Barry lived, holy as a man for the majority of his life. He was always referred to as a man by everybody who knew him at the people who knew him all soon put he was a man apart from one or two who were in on the the story. So that that's a very different type of person. I think if somebody has lived all their life as a man, they you refer to them as a man if somebody they've salivas a womanizer to those were met, but. A strategy that you can take as a historian which I think give you the minimum possibility of disrespecting people from past. We talk about the need for intersectional. Feminism what are your thoughts concerning the relationship between trans women and the feminist movement? Have you know, but have you personally encountered any negativity from feminists quarter? Okay. So I wanna stop like quitting Flavia design. The if you'll tremen- this is not intersection when it for chick, so good. I like it. Medalists? There are many people out there who claim to be -firmative and who are vehemently if not violently on trans. Now, I also claim to be a feminist. I'm a a member of the women's equality policy. Now, I like you I'm from the feminist. I'm paying them on the internet and Sarah in blog, posts, whatever. So there's plenty divide here. And it's really quite interesting to find from historical points of view in. I'm Christopher Trump's women to Bill with being volts in feminism, you can trace Adkins of nineteen th century, but in the mid twentieth century nineteen seventy th actually there was this rise of of cool gender critical. Feminism in the the radical feminist movements on both sides of the Atlantic in America. It seems to be more to do with feminists who came from our conflict grants people everyday, leeann Jonah Simond jumpstartmd, I believe was among before she
