Jake hair defeating christopher daniels of franken kazarian. After help with the ring which by the way. We're having a better world next week for the ring. Does that mean like the winner takes the ring from oxfam. Mj f. and he loses the gimmick or like it's a new ring. I know that's a good question. That is a good cause in the battle of a guessing. The rings up for grabs. Yeah i guess that would be. I'm just gonna win by helping the inner circle because he needs rain. It's a great gimmick for him. It works on the only person that i would. Also give that ring to show spears Besides that i just wouldn't care But the inner circle was ringside for this match and Jericho hit krista. Dance with juice effect and hager picked up the pin for the win. Seems like inner circles at their greatest here like everyone's strong everyone's liking each other. Everyone's vibing that will not last. Promise you that Later in the show. Jeff was irate about kazarian soaking him sucking him in the mouth that led to jericho to defend the honor of his crew by challenging kazarian to a match. Next week Okay chris jericho vers area next week. You excited yeah because every never fails though you don't ever really see him bad matches that's true it's just I dunno i dave. Faction did the main event Mafia get fortune? Team Canada ton. Of Great Vexes. Yes Were it from teenage time was the main event mafia I thought that was a great storyline they did it well. Though. They do what? I. Did last week take the main event Mafia. You have to keep one original member. But you can rebuild it with anybody else you'd like. You could do. No Way to do that. With. The Taliban from the TNA has right now. No. I'm talking you can do anybody old new. But yeah. Original number of maintenance keeps worn original number Jeff. Jeff. Anywhere. Anywhere. Anywhere still tough though. Because look the titles man. That's tough. Okay. I will take a stab at this so. If I was a Redo, the main event Mafia. And the way to throw their angle have still have stink because you have to have staying in the main event loftier sting has to be like for me would be why? Why Number One guy? Okay. The number. One Guy. Out. Have Sting. then. I'd have some JOE OUT HAVE AJ styles. AM. And then I'll probably have to follow it up with Christopher Daniels. That would be dad would be that would be my main event mafia and they would be like basically talking about being the originators or the origin type idea and they're taking on the invading people that are coming from away from Farley digital. WWe On or whatever, and they're basically trying to cheap teenage pure. that. Would be how you WanNa work if you were going to do it, that's how I would do. Like that I see I see, it can be done. May. Also. I'm actually going to go live different. I always thought booker was a good. A good. Leader. In I would. Like to see. A main event mafia style nation, the domination type thing. If there's little. This. Back you go away. Though I'm sorry but I love or troops I think horse I've been truth. With comedy chops is a serious pro wrestler one of the best and archer it would be one of my picks beggar. Again sticking with the nation have domination type theme I would probably go all African American because they it's dominant and don't that like thirty deputies tryon hurt the her. Like us that. Don't that you could say that was Kinda wrong about the nation and I think the reason why this is Richard officemate may disband. "Me. Of course, Scorpio sky Frankie kazarian Christopher Daniels. Let's see you everybody. Christopher. Going up against a strong hearts tomorrow. Ni- WWE, or nothing. If you're not here out in Vegas, you get to see it on pay per view, fight TV, as well Bleacher report, streaming so really happy to have literacy rate out, man would agree. It's phenomenal. And I will say this I mean I love Frankie kazarian in Scorpio sky there tremendous, but I will say this whereas, oh, what using when you hit the lion. Dot dot now, Mark. You know, you've been doing a show for me for a while. Bus it opens been on the air for ten years. And I'm being completely honest. The only guest that actually makes me nervous where I get those that feeling in my stomach. Like it's the first day of school man is when I interview Christopher Daniels, why is that you have to bring aid game? Yes. And I'll tell you why. And I mean this from the heart if people make their list of the greatest wrestlers of all time Christopher Daniels needs to be on that list. So when people talk about the top fifty top twenty five wrestlers I think, Christopher Daniels is one of the most under appreciated wrestlers in the world. How crispy is in the ring how he could tell a story in the and this, and this is not a knock on anybody else. Yes, he can work any promotion against any opponent. It's Christopher Daniels. You don't. Nice cars. I agree with that. What a bayton switch that was. He puts us over man. I love Scorpio's guy, Frankie Zarian, and I think he's gonna bury Christina did he puts Daniels over more than us. So we look at the J, bro. What a switch case you guys are wondering who sharing code of this team. We're riding your coach percents. Hey, listen. There's nothing wrong riding the coattails I, I was in the nation and everybody in there with hall of Famer and I was below man on Dotam poll and the one thing about when you hang amongst greatness, you will become great so through that was hoped that you ain't good. No. And listen. This is not. I want to take that as a knock to you guys because you guys are lend this as well. But I just feel like whenever I have Chris, I honestly get nervous, every time I talked to Christopher Daniels 'cause I think he's wanted to best in the world. Thank you, man. Can can I give one of the things I think about that? I think because Chris comes off, as a really, really smart guy, which is and I say that all the time, like guys that are really educated is education is not always in books is not always how many degrees, you have, but exposure to the world and systems and understanding and travel and. Wrestler's hooved, mo- travel, wrestlers. I mean, like we traveled a world where executable we're in different venues every night and you'd get the meat so many different peoples through so many different walks of life at Chris done that a long, long time. And I love the thought that there's so many educated guys in the business of pro wrestling, I mean, as opposed to of the businesses sports, you know, you don't have that many guys that I remember at one time, just in the WWE, this is not counting all the companies outside of guys.

"And I actually like everybody backstage. If you watch the match back like I feel like I didn't sell anything because the minute had happened. I stopped thinking of anything except am I hurt for real. I hurt permanently. I had no idea that was being it was the worst stinger. I'd ever had. And it lasted like I had no feeling in my arm, and I couldn't raise any higher than that. For almost two months. Okay. Now, did you go the doctor after the match or during the two-month stretch where you can't move you go? I did I went and saw him. And he did he just said, oh, we think you're okay Emara. I didn't get an MRI, man. I couldn't afford it back. Then I was literally. Josie dependent at that point. So I ended up wrestling like that next weekend like that happened on a Monday or Tuesday. I had I had shows on the weekend, and literally I would lock up by grabbing my own wrist and throwing it up on brother's shoulder, and like I wrestled that we can like considered like literally armed almost. So well, how long did take the arm to come back like six weeks? Two months. Have you ever had an MRI? Yeah. I had an MRI, Nick. It's okay. I mean, I know that at some point earlier earlier in my career, I cracked vertebrae because I went to a chiropractor once and he showed me my x Ray, and like all the bones or square, except there's this one that looks like an hourglass, and he points when he goes, you see that right there you cracked vertebrae at some point in your life. It's healed up. And I'm like, I broke my neck, and I had no idea. I'd cut wrestling. You know? So it happened at some point. And I don't know when so. Yeah. But I mean at this point like sometimes you can tell when I'm protecting myself like I won't buy head back, really hard. But. Yeah. I it's it's what it is. I very cognizant now taking head bumps pile drivers like any sort of wacky form of piledriver. I'm very like, hey, I don't know if I can take this. Yeah. I had to really trust the guy to really go full bore into those kinds of things so mad, but but but to that point isn't the powder ever overused because no one ever uses for finish. I mean, I mean, certainly prostitute or just to be another. I don't know if the piledriver is anymore. I think I think the DT and other things like that are obviously the piledriver I feel like it's almost the regular piledriver. I feel like that's almost getting a a resurgence because no one had been using it for finish for a long time. And in the way that what's old is new again, people are like all right? Well, no one's been using this for finish. For also like for example, now Eric young is using it as his finishing TNA again. And because it's been such a long time since anybody's used it. They're protecting it at this point for him. Right. So. But yeah, I mean all a lot of the head bumps. The like nobody like nobody really does the tombstone anymore other than take for that reason. I think because they were you know, everybody knows that's a taker thing and even outside of their like, I don't want people to think of taken when I'm wrestling. So I don't have to do his stuff. A lot of those things are, you know, all of that stuff is sort of prostituted at some point..

"I would just recite names of wrestlers and thinking like if I said it like, I was speaking a sentence. I would say something like Musalo Mitsu kabosh, Ken, cutaway, DACA. And you'd be like, I I don't know what he's saying. Oh did was named three wrestlers. And then Mike Kinabalu despite it is like, oh, always talking about all the Japanese wrestler met. No, mike. You're not supposed to tell everybody cave. Hey, brother. So. Understood man speaking, hey, fully wrap of his conversation. Plug a little bit more social media. We're talking about your neck injury. Guys have common injuries had next incident myself. What was the deal with your because I thought. When I first heard of your neck injury. I was thinking it was when you were suicide and there was above looked like an x match. Right, right. No. That that was the X match. You're talking about was it wasn't me. It was me as me. But Frankie was suicide. I was trying to get into that bump he was fine because he was facing forward. Like, we were sitting on the top of the buckles, and the idea was just going to be like a flatliners. So it was going to be a flat backbone, but when he got off my legs were still there. And so my legs held onto the rope solit- longer. So basically, I came straight up and down. But because I was holding on so tight to Frankie Frankie came down, hands and knees. So literally the back of my head hit. But like that hard. Okay. So we're neck injury. Having a WWE, right? Yeah. I had a try out try out. They did a gimmick. This was the the week after sid broke his leg in WW against Scott Steiner and Terry Taylor called me said, okay. We want to do a match with you and another California guy named Mike modest and they were still building to cruise awaits up. And so it was going to be. The story was going to be hey, we're giving the cruiserweight to chance to shine. And at the end, Scott Steiner who's going to come out and waylay us and break, both our legs, not even a minute in a jumped to the top rope. And it's something that I practice like all day that day and hit every time I jumped in my foot slipped, and I was coming down and going backwards. And I thought well if I took my chin, I'm gonna break my neck, so I gotta look back. So I tried to get land on my stomach, and instead it landed on my forehead the minute Atlanta before I lost all the feeling in my left arm. And then like from then on you can see I'm running. It's like I've got a shoestring anger from my shoulder. And so, but I knew I couldn't sit down. I knew I couldn't stop the match up wrestling, another five minutes, and you know, Mike modest is soup. Lexi mean it looks like he's suplexes me on my head. And I actually like everybody backstage. If you watch the match back like I feel like I didn't sell anything because the minute had happened. I stopped thinking of anything except.

"As myself like a ten day tour, and they said, okay, we want you to come back next tour, but we're going to give you a mask gimmick. Every four years. They would do a tournament called the mass man tournament. It was basically a round Robin tournament over the course of a month in a month in a week. And so I said, okay. Well, what's this character? You're going gonna give me and the guy that was talking to me didn't speak English. Very well. So he goes. Something food, and I was like, okay. So I come back the next month and get off the plane and get on the bus. And then goes like, you Kramer, and I go all right. I don't know what Karima means. But okay, then they hand me a t shirt with the names of the guys on the shirt like oh, this is the tournament shirt. So I look at it. And it says curry man, and I go with curry, man. I have no idea what that is. So I find out the guy that was Khushi in the w generations, Ocoee. It was his idea. There's a comic book character over there called curry cook. And the gimmick was the guy had a plate of rice and curry on his head. And so this mask is given to me, and it basically looks like a yellow pumpkin with a sailor's hat on. But it's supposed to be a plate of food. And I get it. And they say, okay, you're they don't tell me this. But I get this from like the broken English. Like, okay, you're from India and your man, and I get it. And at that point, you know, everything to me was serious wrestling. And I'm like what the hell am I doing with this? And so I didn't know anything about it. So for the first week, I pretended like I was Apu from the Simpsons. I would hit a move, and I'd be like oh society so Saudi and and I thought man that was flat. And literally like the first two weeks. I would get off we'd get down and we'd go to the bar not and I just drink. And I'd like what am I doing Glen? So finally about three weeks in a grant Amata who is one of the aces. They're the older veterans one veterans there. He finally said just wrestle man. Don't worry a stop just wrestle. And so I went out there and did my stuff and slowly. But surely, they put me in another wrestler named super boy with these three guys out of Ultimo dragon's Jim called. Crazy max, it was Shema sewer and sumo dandy Fuji. And so they put the five of us together as super curry max. And we were the the big heel faction. And because of all that I got over to the point where occurring man was a hill in Japan Korea. Man was a heel in Japan at the very beginning. And. I kept coming back. I would do tours with them. And finally, a hated the outfit. They gave me it was like a Sabah savvy baggy pants and a yellow singlet, and they gave me a Cape that I wore on the mask and a hated it. So finally, one tour I came back, and I I had a cutoff shirt something that Billy Gunn. It's sort of inspired me to and I started wearing wacky hats. And I wrote the words eat me in Japanese on my arm, and I started dancing to the ring. I was like screw it. If I'm gonna do this wacky character. I'm gonna have fun with it. And so I started doing this this wacky, dancing, strut and Shima had done this intro where he it was very almost like you is masturbating. And so we would get into that and sort of do like this trio of masturbating nitwits when we do this entrance. And that all sort of went into the character of me, just goofing often having fun. And so I did Michinoku for awhile. And then I left to go to W w when I got back to Japan. I went to new. Pan for awhile. And the thing that I looked at in terms of curry man was like everybody was wrestling every it was all wrestling. But for me the presentation of curry man stood out from the very serious guys..

"And right now, I'm watching a crazy sunset flip off the top the turnbuckle guys, and you just done some crazy ass, Bob. So how do they approach you? When they say, hey, man, we won't you to put your life, and you help on the land. We don't know what you're gonna put where we'll pay yet because weighing your numbers in. To risk life and live. Sometimes they tell us by announcing the match on Twitter or the or the the internet, and that's how you find out. Yeah. Little little highlight reel this actually like this actually went really really well like in terms of the flow. I felt like we had a good flow with six guys. It's like I said, it's always it's always. Yeah. You figure out a flow of like dive sequences in what's going to you know, you put them in order. So that like the one after it doesn't go downhill from the one before it and things like that. So there's a trick to it, man. I mean, nasty here's some Lucia stuff. Yep. That's amazing red, okay? An amazing Ritz still around. Now. Where's he at? He does a lot of stuff in the new in the northeast independent scene. And it's possible that he'll return to TNA at some point or ring of honor at some point. I still think he's one of the best in the world. And. For this sort of thing. It sort of has to go you have to get everybody moving at once, and then sort of filter down to where four people can sell in two people can do stuff. So that the focus isn't split. It's tough to it's tough to do something so quick and like nine ten fifteen seconds into a match where everybody's down selling. So that people can be focus so do but everybody came out of this match unscathed. Yeah. Especially me, which is astonishing because you know, everybody in the Breen a- thought I passed away right in front of them. I yelled at my came backstage and Samoa Joe one of my best friends in the world threaten my life..

"This is Steve. About bathroom door two thousand man ultimate x match. Jomie? How you go about setting this thing up and the danger factor because this thing has a death and destruction. With the heightened bald all the combatants and all the stuff that you guys are trying to pull off there. Well, also, take to create that match. The funny thing was that the lineup of that match change because the Angela deniro the guy that used to be Elijah Burke, he was originally in that match and he had a death in the family the day of the show. So they took him out. And they added the motor city machineguns. So it was Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley added to amazing red suicide myself and homicide. So the addition of an extra guy now there were six guys in the ring it sort of split the amount of big bumps that we had to take into six rather than five and like putting that mesh together it's sort of like a traffic jam. I mean, you really have to keep in mind where everybody is now before the ultimate x matches to my listeners out there who do not know what that means. We're in a six sided ring, you got to what are these things? Go trusses to trust is up and that top the ropes. Gables go to a belt hanging. Yeah. For those cable like fifteen feet from the mandate. Looks like a long. Yeah. Especially when you're up there looking down way far. Okay. So you creating us match. Okay. So yeah. The the idea is, and it's sort of it's one of those stunts show matches. You mean, we all trained to lock up and take bumps then all of a sudden, they're stunt work involved. You have to climb things you have to traverse handover hand on these cables. And this was the first one where they had the trust is over top like Frankie, and I frankly who was suicide at the time Franken I had an idea for a finish. Or at least a spot in the match where we would stand on the top of the ropes and do something. And then we get there. And we find out that there's trust is above it. Which means you can't stand on the cables themselves. So that had switch and that turned into the spot where we sat on the ropes and did what we did and scare everybody to death. But but yeah, we like for that match. The idea is, you know. It turns into like the match you were talking about on the ring of honor pay per view where there's a lot of action lot of action on a lot less selling. And my my my thought process to that is the problem is because there's so many people selling the the the attention is always on the action. So you don't see the other four guys selling down so conceivably there. We're trying to sell realistically or a time period that seems realistic for what we took. But at the same time, they're watching the other two guys you might not be aware that we're selling. So it's a difficult give and take you try not to split focus their six guys. You're trying to layer layer the maneuvers in the bumps to a point where it builds rather than just turned into spots for the sake of spots. Okay. So you guys are the combat ring who were going to execute this thing..

"I brought the belt in that was supposed to be the finish. And then we had to go another five or six minutes. So that was all on the fly from that until I swear you want to you what going had he done to go home. And did you're talking y'all have ten more minutes. Yeah. Over ten minutes, pay per view talk. As I mean, constantly doing something. Right. I gotta ask you out of all the interesting offense of musette that Simone Joe brings the muscle BUSTER. Yeah. Got it looks like I mean, I love it. How's it feel? It depends man. There's there's two versions. There's a I'm your friend version where he let you go. And there are times where he'll hold you until the very end. I had the misfortune of having to take that damn thing on a chair. Oh, brother that socks that sucked. Okay. So why did you have taken on cheer? They did an angle word. Joe turned heel, which I hated hated hated. But that was their decision. And so they did a Gill where he turned on me brought a chair in the ring and dropped me on the chair. And because you're all sort of bent up, your spine is sorta flexed. And so like, I felt it hit one of my bones. Like, the grit in the chair. You know? And so not as like, I can't, you know? It's it's tight bump. It can't be cheers one of the things. Was you went to restaurants, go there and Chicago, right? One of the things they don't teach you is swinging chair. Right. Did you swing a lot of cheers during your career? Because I mean, I'm watching on watch running into some and the throw type technique, but none just lamb Beijing, someone my my my point is no one really teaches anybody how to swing a steel chair in a business appro wrestler, kind of one of those things you learn on the job, right? And it's either going to be good or it's gonna look like shit or you're gonna ill somebody. I mean, there's any couple of ways it's going to turn out. I tried one time to throw the chair, and I did it instead of going flat. It turns sideways right away and it hit Hernandez right here and split him open. And and we had to go and do like an interim brawl right after that. And afterwards, I was just like I felt so bad. What did he big tough due to? Sweetheart. I mean, just like you feel like such a piece of shit when. Mighty you apologize in the Gaza. No at school. And you know, man, I'm so sorry. But that's the thing man. It's like, you know, what someone you know, giving you given when someone's getting you their body, right? You know, it is incumbent you must take care end. Of course, you know, accidents or. A few people in the ring and vice versa. But she has to weigh it goes down, but back to this Dan three way match. When you get when you get done with that match. Did you know you not get knocked it out of the park. I did at the end. And I literally I don't know. I don't know if you can see it on the tape anymore. I literally broke broke into tears a little bit. Because I like everybody the feeling and like the like I felt under emotion, and it didn't fit like how I felt didn't fit the way the match was going because I was happy as hell. But I just lots of belt. So I started to cry rigidly and played it up like the belt new, but I literally was willing. Because like man that went really well was there the thing. I liked about that mentioned much. It was like the the ring of honor pay per view. That would just what I just went noticed. It was it was very fast paced. And but this I mean, it was it was paced. But I mean, there was plenty of salesmanship and just plenty of action. I mean, y'all just walk the tight rope with perfection, and you didn't try to put too much twenty pounds a ten pound bags. I would say it was the perfect amount of everything. And I think something that not. Everybody realizes is how much crowd adds to a match like that crowd..

"I love with Samoa. Joe doesn't ring big man. And he's very agile. All the all the dynamics that you bring and of course, you know, the phenomenal AJ style. Incredible add late. No, you guys are good friends. I always hated those. Now, of course, no I was never part one approach to the level of athleticism and the stuff that you guys were doing. But that being said, and also I can't remember the got Dan fishbone and wanna fill in the blanks out there right now, you guys how long did it take to set up that match because it was a killer match. Thank you. I loved it. It didn't take very long. I mean, we all sort of had a similar mentality. So we were all working together rather than we never had a lot of this when we were putting the match together. So that was in our favor and honestly back in the day when I first started when the when the three way dance and the triple threat, whatever they call it or the different names at first you think yourself, well, God we have to have from start to finish figured out. 'cause we're not ever going to be. We're we're going to be separated. There's going to be times when this guy's not here. And how do we how do we communicate with that guy? And I figured, hey. Yeah. Exactly. So then I figured out in the same way that you talk about a fishbone I figured out a formula to do a fishbone for a triple threat. And now when people ask me about it, I tell them here's what you do. And then in between you can call it on the fly. So I mean, how much could you have anything? Well, you'd be surprised that limits that particular match Joe started to go home early because we had to we had to things that were sort of similar. So he he started to go. He started the second one instead of the first one, and if he had gone home with the finish there. We would have gone off the air probably ten minutes early, and we probably would have got yelled at so like the minute. I brought the belt in that was supposed to be the finish. And then we had to go another five or six minutes. So that was all on the fly from that until I swear you want to you what going.

"And I'm thinking, okay, I had seen that in Mexico before. And that's where I believe Jeff got the idea that, hey, let's do this and be different from everything else. That's going on in the states. Okay. I got that. And so it took me a little while to get used to it the tough part for guys especially guys like me that do a lot of flying. You stand on the top rope and a ninety degree angle, and you put your feet there. And it's easy peasy. You open that angle up to about one hundred thirty degrees. And now you're gonna stand in like a duck, and it's very difficult. So that was the one thing that I had to get used to. But it didn't take me very long. And once I got used to it like, everything is just a matter. The tough part was or the other than San on the top rope. Like taking a bump. And then knowing where everything was because everything was circle it was almost like. Being in a circle. And now, you're like, okay. Where's hard Cam? Where's my corner where Cisco runner I remember doing a tag match and tagged a tag, my partner, helix skipper. But skipper, I've never heard that name again. Oh, he he got out. He had got injured. And then he went into you manage a couple of restaurants in Atlanta. Okay. Continually stores. So anyway, I tag helix, and I go in and he goes out, and he goes to the wrong corner because they all look alike, and they're because I'm like get over to the other corner, brother. But I mean that was a difficulty as well. And so then you had to start using things other than the corners to be like, you're you're landmarks like I knew were hard Cam was with entrances were, and that's how I knew where my corner was. Okay. Did that being said there's you to March, but did you ever work to a hard camera in WWF right towards in? They really want people to work towards that hard camera and for a pin Fowler an important part of the match. I never did that. I just worked the ring. Hell got six eight of them and a bunch of 'em hand-held, right? Always made the camera. Come to me. Did you did you work for Cambridge? 'cause made that that was a dynamic that I did not want to think about him entertain. Because I knew where everything else was all the things. That I need to do. But that was not one of them. Well, I had a feud or background. So I understood I understood the mentality of having your audience on one side. And that's not always the way wrestling is. But in terms of television, the majority of your audiences the camera. So it was easy for me to go. All right. Well, let's turn this way. And I I feel like I learned not quickly, but I learned enough to to make it look natural rather than Balkan turn. And there's your heart. Can't you know, I figured a way to do it where it looked natural versus looking stage. They're looking for. So I want to talk a little bit about some of the matches the gel head down there during your tenure at a and you want to start off with the Samoa. Joe verse AJ styles versus Christopher Daniels. It was TNA unbreakable in two thousand five God dang it's been a long time near ten years. Anyway, it was it was I think Dave Meltzer gave that his match of the year. I think so I know you it five stars match at the year. Yeah, I'm not blowing smoke at PSE because he was also in the worst workman. Reverse battle. Royal built is chopped. His legs out Rakas is got to get some to the heat later. Let's talk about that three way match because I mean, dude that was that was a hell of a match..

"As far as like a milestones in comics. In fact, the days of future past movie that just came out was. Written by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. It's one of the most famous stories in X men history, and it just came out into the movie form. As I remember way back in the day. I read a couple of Richie rich macbook, sir. As about as far as it went and dug them, and the thing I like most about him, we really aren't work. Yeah. But these days, you know, all the X men will reign movies your big movie guy. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I mean, I'm not I'm not overly. I'm not like an RT how to watch you know, stuff. I like, but. Yeah. Like, the marvel movies. I'm a big fan as it about is it marvel or is it what is it about the wolverine or X men that really dig you dig I I don't get it. I'm over an old school guys or in regards to movies. I mean, Steve McQueen Charles Bronson at bullshit, right? Yeah. John Wayne Clint Eastwood, I think and this goes back to like the things that you get into as a kid that you carry into adulthood, and that's something that I think pro wrestling is you don't get into pro wrestling as an adult you don't become a fan as an adult you say that. Yeah. And that's how you that's how you remain a fan is if you've got into it as a kid so like to me I got into. X men as a kid, and I like those characters and I dug I can't I can't articulate exactly what turned me onto it. But I liked it so much that I hung with it. And when different writers in different artists would have their take on it. Their interpretation. Sometimes I liked it. Sometimes I didn't. But the characters to me were all very interesting, and I would follow those along. And so even the movie interpretations, which don't necessarily follow the comic book interpretations. It's still someone's interpretation. Like, it's it's like a different. It would be like if you were to write a Sherlock Holmes book and I were to rider Sherlock Holmes book. Obviously, we're two different offense. We'll have to different stories, but the character unless you write him as an idiot. You're going to stay true to the character that, you know, best friends or it'd resemble that remark as much you. Also, you read a lot. Yes. What kind of stuff you'd like to read fiction nonfiction mostly fiction on the big Stephen King guy. Big Chuck the guy that wrote fight club. I don't know how to pronounce his last name. But I think it's pop pollen UK. Yeah. Like, I've read everything of his but fight club because I knew fight right before. But I read a lot of his stuff. It's very stream-of-consciousness vary. Anti establishment, very wacky stuff. That's pretty much it, man. I haven't really ever sat down and read. I mean, I have a real hard time book..

"But you got a pretty good trimmer on Saudi a lot of people. Get those real dark roots or the head breaks out and bumps right? Always tell people just use regular shaving cream. I use a two blade razor. I'm not a fan of the threes and the fives because you can't trim to go a very tight. So I use the twin blade razor I go with the grain have your secrets for good looking dome. Mach three mach three blades for me. I have always been the best and shave everyday that I have to wrestle actually shaved this morning because I hadn't shaved wrestled Sunday. And I hadn't shaved in this morning. I was driving down to the gym. And I was like man this is a little bit unkempt. I'm going to shave. And so I bought a razor with me. And shaved after I worked out. So I literally this is two hours three hours old. So I like, okay. So when you shave your head, and you put any kind of toner, and he kind of conditioner a Roche, no new dome. No, just I mean, you know, shaving cream, but I mean afterwards now that a little bit of lotion sometimes depend on how dry my skin is. But. Just shave it, man. That's it. I I don't you're out in your neck of the woods. It's a little dry out there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Especially you know, I was sort of high desert was filming a broken go challenge out there, and we were talking and literally I was about twenty miles away from right? So it had been easy way to get it done. Well, never had time to get mad. If your schedule was like more lackadaisical, but you are out, you know, working doing the work, man stuff. So understood check it out last last week. You guys are hearing us talk. This just same bullshit session. He ain't gonna where we're still talking to three sixteen gimmick street the hands on my neon clock or spin around like a rotisserie chicken. I love talking about pro wrestling so much you got twenty years of business. We've got a lot to talk about about. When I first started that show, I had three questions and a few things to ask you that. I never got a chance to ask you just segue off it started shooting the breeze about the business. Yup. But like I was saying the last week. So always try to give guys a few tips to try to help them out in life, sir. And one of the things was. Carrying a pocket knife, Christopher Daniels. This. Yes, or no question. Are you carrying a pocket knife on your person right now? No, do you have one in your car? No, sir. That is strike one a fair enough. And you car is there is a jumper cable. Yes. Straight up straight out shoot. I'll show you after we're done. Alike. And and and a gas can gas can asked him debut dischord, a bonus PLO that rice. Okay now. I know you have got four and one screwdriver and you g- look apartment. No, sir. I don't you know, you get on the road. Something breaks down, you know, whether it's a leatherman tool or form on screwdriver just gotta have you gotta have something for just some kind of little tinkering. I never I was never very handy in that either. I got one day. I mean hill I might be straying on the side of the road and a mechanic pullover. And he's got a screwdriver. Yeah. I got on the then you are game. I'm like, literally, if my car broke down, I would open up the hood and just stand there now and not these days use Cal immature phone, and you know, gets gonna tow truck AAA. Know, I got on the road. You broke down you hoping it and probably because you look like a pro wrestler. Did you would know get picked up by nobody. Okay. Last one okay out there where you live. Do you have a spare key hidden somewhere on premise in case? You lose your damn keys. Yes. I do. Dudes. Okay. You missed out on a couple of couple strikes, but you made points what the gas and can proud of you. Okay. Thank you with that. Being said, let's talk about wrestling. All right. Let's do it. Where are we? Okay. No..

"This is a damn good. Al spew abortion off my brain. This is Steve Austin on Lee, Ali Williams Steve Austin show. I am currently I don't make Asian recharge and batteries. And here's my producer shown to tell you all about it. All right. Thank you. Steven welcome to classic episode of the Steve Austin show. It's producer Sean bringing you episode number one thirty with one of the coolest guys, I think I've had a pleasure and beat this guy. And he's one of the coolest dudes that I've met in pro wrestling that is the fallen angel. Christopher Daniels original air date, July third two thousand fourteen this is two part episode. So we're just playing the second part where Steve and Chris cover whole bunch of stuff including Kabul collecting, that's right. Steve gets educated by Chris on some of the finer points of the Chris Claremont X men era. Also. So talking about some crazy ultimate x stunts and TNA the origin of the apple teeny that Chris would carry around in his tag team with Frankie kazarian as well as his WCW neck injury. Many people may not remember that Christopher Daniels had a brief brief stint at the end of the WCW days. And he was in a match with Scott Steiner where he did end up receiving a neck injury that he worked through for many years curry man, may or may not make an appearance on this episode. So stick around for that this day Steve Austin history today being April eighteenth today in one thousand nine.

"So it's so Cowan censored which Christopher Daniels like forty five years old. So okay. That too old guys and whatever's shooting star, whatever the hell is neighbors at then you have Janetta who's pretty much character actor and never. Yeah. Knows a really good pickup. That's that was hard though. He's he's a great like bid card. He's cool. He's character. I mean, I know not in to cool cargo. Which you need that in these companies. It will give you great TV program. And then omen, Terry. Go who is an old, man. I don't wanna see him every night. Anyone wouldn't? So it's like what? Okay, brings you a little bit legitimacy, but not not what it used to. It's cooling new Japan. Because he's there once every six months like Noah see, Jerry go every week, though. The high beasts of the wrestling world now claim they do, and it's like the biggest signing, and then you got the young Cody feuding against the they brought pocket which was cold used to be Neville in WWE. So that's cool. Give you heal Adam page is still there. But are you guys gonna few against each other? Or are you still going to really hold onto being the lead? What are you going to do that? When you have to put everything into television product the so much going on. I don't think the Rosser that incredibly great yet. They get mega even then like, there's no. Okada's? There's no issues like who is he putting on these five matching against Cody every week. You know what I'm saying? It's so early for us to really speculate. It's kind of it's kind of weird because they have the partnership with him got the Chinese wrestling OWI. They have a partnership. Here with the wrestling company in Vegas that we're gonna wash on times. So what have they have opportunities Bill talent from the ground up over the next few months could be a year before they really kick into a TV dealer. Anything like that? They have time if like for us to speculate soul hard does nobody any favors because we really don't know who they're going to pick up like we really don't know who they're gonna sign where they show up what they're gonna do. But will I mean, it's up to us. Just keep our these things. I'm glad that there's an alternative. I'm glad that Cody and the bucks and the rest of the elite have created their own wrestling promotion, I'm I'm happy to see that. That's what I always wants to do. Right. Like college is crazy about money on our table when recipe promotion, you guys could bookie we wouldn't say, no. You know, like, you won't say, no, it's just we have a long way to go. We have talent to feel. We got the I mean, there's so much. Wrestling town, all across the globe, where we'll have to see where guys go, and you know, I talked to Joe cough who is the CEO of ring of honor this week, and he kinda shed a little bit of light. And he was just like, you know, it wasn't. He basically said it wasn't us when it came to all wrestling and the new Japan partnership and that the doors open if they wanna do talent there. But the timing wasn't right. I don't know exactly. What the hell that means? But it means that there could be an opportunity, you know, guys skirl signed between nineteen there's a story on the writing on that. Now skirl isn't ring Avante talent to route twenty nineteen. So we'll see like there's a lot of moving parts. They got Bandido. They got PC. Oh, you don't know guys punishment Martinez. Born even thought about a year or two ago, and now he's an inex- t-. Yes. So I don't know what the hell. He's doing see. Working through character at performance does how well I'm just saying like that guy whatever I want to sign them. Anyway, saying there's there's talent to be found is town to be cultivated nurtured. We've got time. It's an uphill battle for all US. I think we can all agree on that. But we'll see what happens. I'm curious. I'm very cute. I think they will enough is gonna be a great show. They can put on a great show up with whatever signings. They have limited or not limited. They have enough to bring in a good show looking forward to that on the WWE side of things though, we is pretty good rundown..

"New Japan. You gotta steal talent you have to have your own roster. Gabby w w you gotta be TNA Bank will. Yeah. And that's that's the problem. Like, I I'm not a big fan of another weekly wrestling show like right now in my mind, if I don't have enough don't have the bandwidth. The rest of the show. So it's like. Framing and see you K right now, I'm doing the same. And it's like it's hard like they do two shows a week. And I can't this is hard like this is hard to keep up with all this. So all the wrestling. I think the talent share would've worked in their favor in these preliminary stages because guys wouldn't have been busy, and it could have been visible, and then you could have promoted, but it's like double nothing's gonna do well regardless, but when things aren't special anymore when like once upon a time when the w did just the big four, right, then they started doing like in your house, and those became spy, but over the past year, the reason why the WB network works. So well is because people were not buying pay per view every month anymore because they're not special. They're just another version of raw long, raw those rights. So it's like with all league. Like, if double or nothing was at every month thing is that especially like, I think part of the reason why we enjoy new Japan so much as it's not every month. And we don't watch the weeklies and they've done a better job. Telling stories with wrestling then with their mouth, so we enjoy Japan because of that. But if new Japan was on the states every week and had to tell stories with their mouths instead of the wrestling wouldn't be the same kind of special. So I don't know like I got to see who else they pick up this talent out there. But best believe like when this FOX deal kicks in for the W W. They're spending big money to make sure guys just sit on the bench, and they'll go to all the wrestling. Yeah. I mean, they're going to spend big money to keep their guys. Then. Annex team AAA chin everyone. They're not slowing down with signing town. So we you see the roster in even announcement so forth. So Cowan centered for all in wrestling. So it's so Cowan censored which Christopher Daniels like forty five years old..
