Charlie Pierce Believes the FBI Must Have Inside Information on Trump

"The thing is. I honestly believe all of those people, they don't know what the FBI grabbed. Right. I mean, they don't, I mean, Jim Jordan doesn't know what they have. They're way out on a limb. He doesn't know what they have. Yeah. That's the thing. But again, I mean, I go along with all of the FBI law enforcement types who say there is no federal judge who ever lived, who signs off on this warrant, unless it's absolutely. Yeah. They've got somebody saying something. Not just suspicions of what may are the fact of the national archives is pissed. I love the national archives and I think that people work there are wonderful, but that's not enough to get a federal judge to sign off on a warrant either. Yeah. We were saying with eastman and Clark, they were saying what it takes to get a warrant to get a raid on attorney like that. But you're right. For the former president, I mean, I think. If I were king of the forest, I would be very interested in what pat cipollone is always already told.

It's Not Easy Being a Radio Star

"21 minutes after the hour America continue my conversation with the legendary Dodger broadcaster Vin Scully. And sky, how hard is it to get that first gig in broadcast? Well, again, fake play the hand. There was a lovely girl on the campus who was a friend of mine, not a girlfriend, but a friend named McGee, marguerite Clark, and marguerite said, I will type up letters and we'll send them out to radio stations, and I said, okay, let's start from Maine to Florida. And so we had a big book called a broadcast magazine, and it listed all of the stations that you addressed the East Asian managers name, et cetera, and she began typing up the letters, and we came to Washington, D.C., WTO, a.m. and FM, which is a 50,000 watt station. That's the major league. It doesn't get any bigger and brighter than that. So I said to McGee as we called her, McGee, we better skip that. That's too big a station. And to date the story, she said, look, it's only going to cost another three cents stamp. So we put a three cent stamp on this 50,000 watt station letter, mailed it off, and I received a lot of answers from other stations basically saying no job or listen pal. This is a big station and you're coming off a college campus station, which it was not. It was an FM station. But anyway, WTO P said please send an audition disk. So I sent a disk down containing the various bits and pieces of on air broadcast and the next thing I know I received a phone call and the phone call said we would be interested in meeting you, we don't hire anyone site unseen. So I went down to Washington or auditioned again live and got the job. That is

The Hidden Religious Themes Behind Superman

"Story is an interesting one. I don't know that one as well as Batman. But there is only one way to be able to basically stop Superman kryptonite and the story of Superman. What is the biblical, not The Batman versus Superman, but the biblical story? Well, Superman Superman is probably the biggest parallel to Jesus in virtually all the superheroes. It's interesting because Superman was actually nietzschean when it was written. It was actually written as a nihilist by the two guys from Cleveland. I can't remember their names. But so tell me, well, it turns out that Superman is sent here by a God of another world to save this world. He is the son of this God, jor el, I think his name is. And he stays incognito until the age of 33. As Clark Kent, right? But he's staying incognito so he can complete his mission of trying to save this world from evil, and then by the time he hits 33, then people start to realize, oh, this Clark Kent is really Superman. This Jesus is really God. So it's a parallel to the Christians of the messianic story. Yeah, the messianic story. And you find this in all of these superhero movies.

Glenn Kirschner Feels a Trump Indictment Is Overdue

"Glen, you just tweeted when the J 6 committee revelations about Donald Trump's crimes. It's time for the DoJ to indict Trump and his co-conspirators. I was saying at the top of the show being out with chairman Schiff last night, we were saying that I understand he Liz Cheney, Elaine Laurie, others, putting public pressure on DoJ. I think that's fine. And I know you're of the impatient crew like I am, but I'm just curious, you know, because other people point to, you know, whether it's the eastman, the Clark raids, as you just said, the Bannon indictment to say that the Justice Department is working. Where do you come down on this in terms of, I mean, are you saying when you say now you really feel like Trump should be being indicted now? Yeah, I think a Trump indictment is long overdue. I try to exercise patients because I appreciate you need to build the strongest case possible against a former president and his co-conspirators. But you know, I just did a piece for MSNBC daily and I said, look, at some point, it's great that you're involved in covert investigations, grand jury investigations, which are secret by law. You're doing things behind closed doors, but Steph, there comes a time when we have to see overt public law enforcement action, like when we have witness tampering, those people need to be arrested promptly and publicly one to neutralize that threat and to send the message of deterrence to others. The problem is, no one on team Trump is being deterred. Why? Because there's no overt public law enforcement action. That I fault the Department of Justice war. They need to start doing that now. I don't care if we don't see a Trump conspiracy indictment tomorrow. We need to see some of these people who are tampering with witnesses and destroying evidence. We need to see them arrested now, and then you build on that.

American Greatness Senior Contributor Julie Kelly on the J6 Witch Hunt

"And we are joined by Julie Kelly of American greatness, Julie. Welcome back to the show. Hey, Seb, thanks so much for having me on. Let me just put to you straight away the obvious naive layman's question that we've had what more than 700 people hunted down, arrested more than a hundred, I believe, your correct me more than a hundred still confined in political prison cells, not far from this studio. Mostly on menial low grade charges, such as trespass or the obstructing an official process charge and we have a lack of a similar response to the violence being done across America in the names of social justice, BLM, antifa or abortion. Is that a silly question? Am I, am I? Am I missing something Julie Kelly? As usual, savvy you are not missing a thing. You're way ahead of everything as usual. So yes, oh, I will correct you on one number, though. I believe we are up to more than 850 Americans who have been hunted down by this DoJ. They just arrested someone yesterday, said we're here 18 months later, and they are still hunting down capital trespassers, so subjecting them to FBI raids in one case last week, the FBI used an informant to get a man to talk about what he did at the capitol and he was charged with three misdemeanors. This is the crusade, this dragnet, this witch hunt, I believe they're trying to a thousand total January 6th defendants before election day or campaign season. They think it's some sort of talking point. But yes, we have that part of the dragnet witch hunt going on regular Americans. Then, of course, you have what we're seeing recently, which is the roundup of political figures such as the head of the Arizona Republican Party, Georgia Republican Party, and then of course the FBI raid of Jeffrey Clark's home, and the really egregious confrontation by FBI agents with Doctor John eastman stealing his iPhone before showing him a

"And for all of you in the grassroots, you have to know that there is this orchestrated plan happening right now. The help us unpack this is Russ vote. He is the president of the center for renewing America and former White House, OMB director. And he also is very close with Jeffrey Clark, who was raided last week by the Department of Justice, Russ, welcome to the Charlie kirchhoff. Thanks for having Charlie. Appreciate it. So Russ walk us through what happened last week with Jeff. Well, Jeff's house was rated in a pre dawn manner. The Department of Justice came to him over a dozen officials law enforcement officials, including those from fairfax county police department. They were there to raid his house to search it to take his electronics, they didn't let him change and let him get into a pair of jeans. They took him out and made him be in his pajamas for over a number of hours. A complete show of intimidation and for those of you who are following the news like you do, Charlie, you know that that coincided with the fact that he was going to be the focus of the January 6th hearings, the sham hearings going on on Capitol Hill. So on a very in the same week that all of the exposure was designed to show that he was at the forefront of a law enforcement investigation to show that this is the person that they were trying to demonize as part of these hearings. And of course, this is just follow on from Peter Navarro. It's follow on from Steve Bannon. Other GOP officials that we're trying to get a handle on and election investigation were the brunt of similar targeting last week. I know that the situation with Jeff better than the others. "Yourself and still get back the money. This is in regards to the caller who was inquiring about why her credit score dropped a hundred points on credit karma. I was surprised that Clark didn't explain a little further about how the site works and all that there is to look at and click on. He should have mentioned that there is a tab that says see what's changed and advised her to look there because it always tells you why you're score changed. There's an awful lot to look at on credit karma and it can be a bit overwhelming. Furthermore, I think Clark should frequently explain to people that it would serve them best to pay their credit card bill twice a month instead of waiting for the statement to hit, and that's from Jennifer. Jennifer, thank you. I'm going to deal with the second thing first. And paying your credit card on a regular basis and instead of twice a month, as you said, if you're running balances the most effective way to reduce your balance is to pay half of your minimum payment required every two weeks. And it will get you out of debt if your credit card debts felt overwhelming. You have trouble going beyond the minimum payments. It will get you out of debt in one fourth of the time if you just each month send the minimum payment they're asking for. If you're talking about paying twice in a billing cycle so that you are producing a higher credit score, you're paying your balances in full. Absolutely, that works. Anything you do that reduces the balance that's reported. So not when you pay your balance in full, you think they're reporting a zero balance for you. They report the balance to the credit bureaus on the closing date for your statement, even if you then pay it in full. So if you want to boost your score, you reduce what's being reported is the amount of your available credit you're using in making extra payments will.

"Of this podcast, we're going to talk with our team Clark director to find out what things are really troubling people right now, what questions they really have in our team Clark consumer action center. But first, without further ado, drum roll, please. I should have never encouraged these. You must think, I'm pretty stupid. You should be ashamed of yourself. Well, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe you're right, pal. Okay, we're gonna start with this one from Daniel. You tell Roth IRA's continuously but never note that the math is the same whether you place money in a traditional IRA or a Roth IRA with a Roth you place in post tax dollars and then do not get taxed some withdrawals for a traditional, you pay with pre-tax dollars. If you invest the tax money saved on a traditional IRA, then you end up over the years in the same place as a Roth, the Roth IRA is only a bet that the tax rates will be lower in the future, but no one knows what the future tax rates will be. The other issue no one mentions is that Congress could change the tax law and make Roth IRA withdrawals taxable. That would be double loss as you would be taxed on the way in and the way out with the deficit growing the politicians could see the Roth IRAs is a big pot of money to be taxed. Do you trust politicians to keep their word and that's from Daniel? Daniel, okay, so first of all, you don't know that I am a sly sinister character. Why is it that I would love the Roth IRA so much more than a traditional? Because the limits on contributions are such, what you can contribute in a year that if I get you to do the Roth IRA, you're effectively contributing roughly 30% more towards your retirement than if you do traditional. Since your capped at 6000 bucks a year, if I get you up to the cap and you do a traditional, you end up effectively with 30% less money down the road than you do with the Roth. Because you can put in more money. And with the deficits you referred to, the odds are higher down the road that we will have higher tax rates, meaning that the Roth is potentially a better deal tax wise..

"Those of clark's favourite costco. I agree that they provide some value in the lower income in rural areas that they tend to dominate their convenience. A cost reminds me of the check cashing businesses that are also often found in these areas. Bryan bryan thank you. And it is true that the Particularly dollar tree historically is run it very good margins hitting their one dollar price point for items for sale This is not true of family dollar that they've had a lot of trouble running that business forever though long. Troubled family dollar and dollar general has had good margins but they all provide value to people on a very very tight budget yes some of the quantities are smaller tit lower price points but they make it possible for somebody who's got just so little money to get by on to have the items. They need not have to commute long way to a walmart or certainly to a warehouse club that would be even further. So i do feel like the dollar stores do serve a significant need in the marketplace cute puppy clark and i love the name but and i hope i'm wrong but a cute little what looks like a golden doodle or labrador was probably purchased.
