We have got that trading underway in most markets across the apac region, positivity in Hong Kong. It's kind of the standout performer, other markets showing weakness, but the Hank sang is up nearly one and a half percent. We're seeing leadership come from consumer discretionary and communication services stocks, we're also seeing a move up in US Treasury yields across the curve and the Tokyo session, but to be fair, yields were down in the U.S. session pretty sharply we'll be talking more about markets coming up here on daybreak Asia right now a few of the sourest top business stories. Well, we told some Chinese officials finding that the next GDP target is too ambitious. With them all. China is discussing a GDP target of around 5% next year. We're told some officials think that may be too high, but others support the idea as a way to help shift the focus of local government work away from COVID controls. Beijing's adopting a more pro growth stance after months of record COVID outbreaks and a property crisis. China's Politburo says it will seek a turnaround in the economy next year, and this will help boost market confidence. We're here China's GDP target will likely be discussed at the central economic work conference that usually takes place within a week of the Politburo's December meeting. The video platform TikTok has been banned on government issued devices in the state of Texas that story from Bloomberg's Charlie palette, it adds to a growing list of states that have done the same in the past week amid concern that consumer data collected by the social media app could be accessed by the Chinese government. Governor Greg Abbott ordered all state agencies to ban its officers and employees from downloading or using TikTok on government issued devices, including cell phones, tablets, and desktop computers. The announcement follows similar actions taken by South Carolina, Maryland and South Dakota in recent days. In New York, Charlie palette, Bloomberg, daybreak, Asia. Activity is normal when you go to the exam or do an exam then at shoots up but there are a small percentage of women who actually do hold a little extra at rest and there could be very reasons for their anxiety. You only committed suicide I don't think he did but he definitely came to my stream to talk to me and he for what it was he told me. Oh you know you. You're my favorite streamers that i had doubts that because like who might just like two or three people watching me. I didn't think me but he thought hire me. "My business started doing really well. And i'm just like and You get this again. Yeah and i started getting that rush of like in the neil comedy starts happening on my car. And what's your business on a podcast studio network. Oh fun yeah okay for you to be here. I'm just giving it so. You have a podcast. No you own. A studio studio network my podcast. But you just take a produce other people's reviews other deals and i saw the ads for it and oh well studio. How many podcasts. We saw we do ads for like fifteen different shows. Oh well you know we have a whole lift staff and everything. Well the whole team good for you. Yeah what's it called narrows podcasts at at that. Oh yeah so what got you back. When did you start chanting again. When did you get the beads. And the way was up there now. I had a lot of free time to. And i just started chanting again and then i realized forever. I've been trying to meditate. I'd like try. Tm i didn't do the class. And i have my own opinions about having to pay for a mantra. Whatever i i know my opinion all i know is i just don't feel like right now and try different things and absent whatever and that was like why not just like i know how to do this one. Yeah i'll i'll try this and then and started working and just the idea of having the beats the little something and i liked it. I don't know it just. I started doing it and i would feel the effects owed. I would feel anxiety. Go down. I would feel. I'm like this is cool. I'm not like i'm not doing. It is not like a results. Based thing where i don't have some spiritual reason behind doing it. I dislike doing it. Yeah and i used to hate doing it. Trump says 'I think we'll make a deal with China' on trade
"Adviser. Larry cudlow said that he was not as optimistic for a deal as he once was but then a short while later, President Trump said he does think that a deal with China's going to be reached you'll recall that last Thursday, we had that report of President Trump asking officials to draft terms for a deal ahead of that meeting with Chinese president Xi Jinping at the end of the month. Trump officials send mixed signals on China investment curbs, markets sink

"The top stories for investors in the coming week i'm bob moon in new york up later in our program preview a trio of interest rate decisions around the world but i want to continue our global team coverage of the donald trump kim jong un summit for more let's turn things over to bloomberg daybreak asia anchors doug christner in new york and bryan curtis in hong kong bob the summit between president trump and north korean leader kim jong un has huge significance for us here in asia i thought we'd take a look at the asian perspective we asked bloomberg's david tweed to join us for some further analysis we know that asia doesn't speak with one voice here but everyone wants peace but what about china what would shine a light to see happen from this summit i think that china would be almost happy to see anything that doesn't cause a huge disruption within north korea china would probably also be quite happy to see north korea hold onto its nuclear weapons for now because what it needs is to bility and people talk about china's two priorities one is that it doesn't see collapse of the north korean regime whether that comes around because of of some sort of military attack from the united states or whether it comes around because you see an economic collapse of the regime both scenarios could see millions of north koreans flooding across the border and total instability in the region and that's what china doesn't need china needs to bility in the region because it needs to prosper economically the second point for china it doesn't want to see a reunification of the korean peninsula under us patronage david you can make the case for the last thirty years china has become something of an economic miracle within the context of being a communist country north korea really has kind of resisted following a similar path why do you think it is that the kim regime has been so reluctant to follow the example set by china.
