Kurt Schlichter and Michael Walsh Discuss America's Supply INSANITY
"You know, Michael Walsh, I was out speaking to some lovely Republican women at the west valley Republican women Federated. And it was very interesting. We were in a country club. And the organizers said, look, it was very interesting. I was having a lot of trouble with the country club, which did a fine job, but they were very insistent that they couldn't give us more seats because I was like sold out and more people wanted to come because I'm amazing. And she wondered why? Because they never had that problem before. Turns out that they weren't being difficult, their suppliers said we can't get more chicken breasts and more salmon. Their suppliers in America said we can't get enough chicken breasts and salmon win the hell since the 1940s where there was rationing. Did someone in America have trouble gay chicken breast fed salmon? Yeah, you know what, we're going to turn into this is a place near dear to your heart is Cuba. We're not going to be we're not going to be able to get parts for our cars. So you're going to see people driving 25 year old junkers down the middle of the street with cannibalized parts because I had to get my car fixed last year. And it took months to get some of these parts. Now, my car is a little bit older, but still, this is a very classic. You don't have empty store shelf for Christmas. That's not America. That's not the America. How come Michael Walsh, I grew up in the 70s and 80s, it never occurred to me that I could walk into a store and not be able to get what I needed, that a woman couldn't get tampons for gosh sakes. I mean, well, baby formula. This is insane. And of course, president Gumby, he's talking about a vaccine plan in Senegal. Okay, I got nothing to get Senegal, but I'd like to be able to get baby form of the tampons.
Anna Dugger Wants to Stay With Pedophile Husband
"I'm struck by this story today. The duggars, the family on TV with all the kids. You know, last December, Josh Duggar, that was found guilty on both counts in his child sexual assault materials trial, okay? I was a few weeks before Christmas and nobody would have been the least bit surprised. Had his wife and a Duggar said, I wanted divorce. I'm done with this. Right? Who wouldn't? I mean, we all want to understand that. But she's now saying she ain't going anywhere. She said she would never leave this fucked up sick and twisted husband for nothing. You couldn't give her anything. She ain't going nowhere. Brainwashed much? Yes, of course she is. But I'm sure a lot of you ladies have good reason to complain about your husbands and this would clearly be one of those times. On the flip side, though, guys, what do you make out of a wife who promises to always be with you even if you're a convict convicted sex offender? I mean, this guy got a 151 months, a little over 12 years. In federal prison, that's not easy time. And then he was hit with 20 years of supervised released when he gets out of prison, and at that point he and allowed any unsupervised contact with minors, not even his own children. So how exactly do you make that work? What do you do? You're living in the same house. You can't be, I mean, come on. Come on, you can. Who's going to, who's going to police that? These people have 7 kids from 12 to 7 months. I've heard plenty of people who stay together for the kids. I understand that I did it for a while too. But this is a little insane.
James Ackerman: Angel Tree Campaign Is a Year-Long Initiative
"Because every campaign that we've done, this audience has donated well over $200,000 to send Christmas gifts and the gospel and a message from their mom or dad. In fact, if you don't mind, take just a few seconds, James to walk through the angel tree campaign because hey, before you know it, we're going to be at Christmas time. We are. And the angel tree is really a year round initiative. So right now, as we speak, we are working with chaplains to distribute angel three applications in prisons all over the country. We distribute to just over 1300 state federal prisons and high profile jails. And encourage moms and dads in prison to sign up with their children for angel three. We then take those applications towards the end of summer, process them, and then distribute those kids to churches all over the country. 5 to 7000 churches a year participate in angel tree. And in any given year, we have 250,000 to 300,000 children signed up to be served at angel tree Christmas. So it's happening right now. The parents are signing up their kids. All right, I'm going to put everybody into a holiday spirit because it may be June 23rd, but Christmas time will be here before you know it. And I get very excited at the idea of our audience delivering these Christmas presents and the gospel to these
James Ackerman: We Welcome Anybody to Apply for Prison Fellowship
"James Ackerman, the president and CEO of prison fellowship with us here on the Mike Gallagher show. Let's talk a little bit about the academy. Because again, we've had sort of two missions to narratives that I've shared with our audience all over the country. A Christmas time, it's the angel tree campaign, but I wanted everybody to know this month about prison fellowship academy. Talk to a specifically about what the academy does, what it's all about. Yeah, so the prison fellowship academy is a yearlong intensive program that men or women apply to get into. These are men and women in prison apply to get into. There's a lot of work involved. All the curriculum experience is grounded in biblical principles and the gospels of Jesus Christ, but we welcome anybody to apply for the president's fellowship academy of any background of any faith or no faith at all, but everything we teach is rooted in the Bible. And so the whole goal of the prison fellowship academy is to guide men and women to begin to understand what it means to be a good citizen and begin to practice the habits of good citizenry. And so good citizenship. And so that is what the president has in a nutshell. That's what the president follows your academy does. There's 178 academies in 33 states as we speak. The program is growing substantially year over year and the results are unbelievable in terms of men and women returning to our communities who are healthy and productive citizens.
Our Prison Fellowship Partnership Has Been a Huge Success
"Years ago, my wife said, why don't you not just jaw bone about issues on the air? I know you're a big mouth on the radio, but why don't you put your radio show and the heft of your audience to use? Why don't you do something for people? And we began sort of a philanthropic side to this show. And I can tell you that prison fellowship is one of the happiest, most joyful things we've ever done. The prison fellowship ministry is extraordinary, okay? And it is a ministry. I have been to summer camps, I have met children who are the children of incarcerated Americans, I have visited with many of the beautiful people who comprise the prison fellowship team and of course I've been telling you all month about the prison fellowship academy, which is changing hearts and minds within the prison walls. At Christmas time, you know, I get such a kick out of knowing that this audience is going to step up and participate in our angel tree campaign, which delivers Christmas gifts and the gospel to the children of prisoners, and the beauty of it is that children understand that these gifts are coming from their mom or dad in prison, as you've, but you're really the magic behind that. You're the impetus and we thought it would be successful when we first started partnering with prison fellowship a couple of years ago. It has exceeded our wildest
Charlie Welcomes Lauren Chen to the Show
"We are joined by Lauren Chen, who is a social and political commentator. It's a fair way to put it. Anything but vlogger, I think about vlogger. Thank you for having me. What do you have to do to become a vlogger? I mean, pretty much just film yourself and put it on the Internet. It's a very low bar, which is why I try to avoid it. And usually what you're filming is like putting on makeup or you just do in pranks bro, so. Yeah, I mean, the thing that when I talk to younger audiences, when I know we have a societal problem, is when I ask them, what do you want to do when you grow up? They're like, I want to be an influencer. Oh no, no. And I'm like, there's nothing good that's going to come out of this. Yeah, I have my husband's little cousin. She's like 9 or ten and she wants to be a YouTuber. She actually for Christmas asked for like a ring light and stuff. And I know it's strange because I have a YouTube channel, but I'm actively trying to convince her again, so you don't want this. You don't want this. Don't do this to yourself. Yeah, I mean, if you want to know the road ahead, ask those coming back. There's nothing fulfilling. There's other things in life. So introduce yourself to our audience, you have a big following and are well respected, so you're from Canada originally. Yes, I'm originally from Canada, but I Hong Kong you said, right? You grew up in Hong Kong where my father is from. So pretty much my parents birthplaces just hate liberty right now, which is a little bit depressing. Things aren't going so great in the homeland. But yeah, I'm in Nashville. We love Tennessee and I do YouTube videos as well as write some articles. I like to talk about politics and culture and the way that the two intersect, which I think politics is downstream from culture, and I think for the longest time, the right was losing young people because we were so focused on politics and not on culture. And I wish I could just throw Thomas souls basic economics at a young person and have them be a conservative, but we know it doesn't work
The Connection Between Violent Crime and Marijuana Usage
"I got Sean sent me an article about marijuana usage in its residual effects. And just because, you know, correlation denied always mean causation, but at least you have the facts and understanding, you know, according to an article called cannabis causes psychosis, a psychosis caused violence written by a gentleman, a doctor named Alex berenson on May 25th in an article he describes some of the correlations between marijuana usage and violent criminals. Mister, I don't like even like to say the guy's name, but it was confirmed that the shooter and Yuval di had issues with using marijuana. Don't know how much he used, but he was upset because his grandmother and mother allegedly would not let him use marijuana. Nicholas Cruz, which is a Florida high school shooter, was heavily used in marijuana, and that's what he told the police in the police interview. Devin Patrick Kelly, who shot up a Texas church and killed 26 people on 2017 before, you know, obviously killing himself had a THC in his system when he died, Darryl Brooks junior last seen allegedly racing through the walk of Christmas parade, self described as a stoner and here's some statistical data that may become relevant. It says, meanwhile, the cities like Portland, Oregon, have suffered an explosion in violence, following the legalization of cannabis.
No One Is Happier Than a Democrat After a School Shooting
"Joy to speak with our friend John zirak. John, you've written a piece on the Yuval the massacre at stream dot org. Let's talk about that. Sure. Sure. Now, earlier I said this, nobody is happy as a Democrat after a school shooting. They run around like little kids on Christmas morning because they've gotten what they think is the biggest present they can. A pretext to take away fundamental constitutional rights from American citizens. To render you and me is helpless as the citizens of Australia were when they were locked in their homes. So the citizens of Canada are the citizens of Germany. But what happened it evolved, they actually is the most powerful argument for the Second Amendment I can imagine. Correct. You had a dangerous lunatic inside the school. You had parents outside some of them with guns because this is Texas. Wanting to go in and rescue their kids. And the local police did absolutely nothing to stop the shooter for almost an hour, but they did restrain the parents from saving their kids. They actually wait. They put one mother in handcuffs because she wanted to run in and save her. Wait, she got out of the handcuffs, got inside and emerged with her two kids still alive because
Liberals: Inflation, Gas Prices & Food Shortages Are Caused by Racism
"We know what the problem is Inflation cares prices Food shortages baby formula shortages We know what the problem is It's racism The white dominant racist society called America But for America But for America there wouldn't be races But for white dominant culture things would be just so fabulous Oh yes Wouldn't be murder every night in our cities It's true Fentanyl wouldn't be crossing the border Wide open Every day would be Christmas But for the majority population this white dominant disgusting country That should never have been founded in the first place Period
Jeff James: We Can Use Patterns to Train Students for Shootings
"Do you know the last time a child died in a school fire in America It was December 1st 1958 was the R later the angel school in Chicago fire breaks out And I'll make the long story short The nun is pretty much said hey let's just stay here the firemen will rescue us Well that went tragically wrong 92 pupils and three nuns lost their lives At that point was when they started to mandate changes about the biggest thing is fire drills monthly fire drills You'll take a kindergartner who starts school in September by Christmas They've been through three or four fire drills and they would know where to go if the teacher wasn't in the room And the fire alarm still goes off It doesn't mean they're not scared It means they've learned a pattern You can't really train elementary students like you can't high school kids to react to these kind of shootings But you can have a little touch points with them that say hey we're going to practice we're going to practice where to hide if a bad guy gets in here Or I used to tell the gym teachers If you have a wood line around your school play a game a couple of times at the beginning of the year with the kids saying hey I'm going to time you running to the woodline and back So you see who does it in under a minute So if that shooter is outside will those kids are outside for recess or for gym class and someone says run to the wood line and hide in the wood line They know where to go They've heard it a couple of times So while we can't train them to the level of adults we can certainly give them touch points that are going to that they can pull on again in the future in those moments of high stress and high anxiety and fear
Peter Doocy Inquires Why Biden Goes to Buffalo, Misses Waukesha
"Peter doocy remains my hero, the Fox News White House correspondent. If you remember yesterday's show, I said I sure hope Peter doocy asks. Jean Pierre, the new White House press secretary, why is Biden rushing to buffalo when he didn't go to walk a Shaw? Wisconsin. Well, maybe he's listening because he did. How can the president is visiting buffalo after a senseless tragedy there, but he couldn't visit block a shot after 6 were killed and 61 injured in an attack on a Christmas parade there. I mean, he's visited many communities, buffalo, he was, you know, he's able to go tomorrow to buffalo. Before the trip, that is something that was important for him to do. But he has visited many other communities. This is not buffalo is not the first community sadly that he has to go up to because of a violent attack. So that's not the first one. So he's been to many others. Now that's comedy. Yeah, because there's been a lot of black men mowing over white Christmas parade goers. That's happened a lot. He just didn't happen to go to that
Caller Shares His Story From Waukesha Christmas Parade Tragedy
"Tell me what you think about the difference between buffalo, you experienced it. I'm sure you being part of that awful day. I'm sure it will be, you'll carry that with you forever. Give me your perspective as somebody who was a part of that awful awful evil act in walker Shaw Wisconsin. Well, I mean, it was just utter chaos and disbelief. And it's a very, very conservative community. And there has been not one writing one anything on radio about this was a devout Democrat that wanted to kill white people. Not one thing like that. In fact, the only thing that happened from The White House was a comment from the press secretary, giving us condolences for our losses. I was literally a foot and a half away from the police officer that was shooting at this vehicle. I was with a girl's girl scout troop that was marking in the freight. Fortunately, we were at the very beginning of the parade. And we were veering off to get off the parade route when the vehicle ended his debacle crap. It was ridiculous. But it was just unbelievable. And ironically, I have been summoned to appear as a juror for his trial coming up in October. Say that again, you were what? I was summoned to be on the jury for his trial coming up in October. So are you going to be on the jury? Well, I had to fill out a 200 page question here and one of the questions was, were you in that parade? And of course I had to answer. Yes, so I don't know, but maybe you'll be able to be disqualified. I
Biden Heads to Buffalo... But Never Visited Waukesha
"Mean, look at the headline and Rolling Stone. This is an actual headline. From Rolling Stone, the buffalo shooter isn't alone wolf. He's a mainstream Republican. He's a main stream Republican. And then, of course, the headline Biden headed to buffalo. Biden had to walk a Shaw diddy. He didn't go to walk a show Wisconsin when a black supremacist who hates white people, wanted to murder a bunch of white Christmas parade goers. I guess his schedule was a little filled, then maybe he was worried about COVID then. Maybe he was just concerned about catching COVID. Had nothing to do with the optics of a black man murdering white people, but he likes the optics of a white man murdering black people. I hate my cynicism.
John Zmirak and Eric Discuss the Decline of 'Christianity Today'
"John, I want to say this. On my last trip, the other day, I finished writing this article, I read, I don't, I no longer can read Christianity today, which frankly has said. It used to be a wonderful magazine. But they have gone. They've drifted left. And at Easter, on Twitter, I saw an article by Russell Moore. Okay. Now, I don't think of these people as my enemies. I think that we have differences. I read the article, it was mind bending. I couldn't believe what I was reading. It was so disturbing. I said, I think I have to respond. And I'm not like you. I don't think in terms of essays, writing an essay for me is very difficult. But I will tell you, I said, I have to respond to this. It took me a while, but the bottom line is that in the article that he writes, it is genuine, think of this, folks, genuine bigotry. People on the left are always accusing people on the right or people who voted for Trump as being bigots. 99% of that is pure nonsense. It's a vial lie. It's worse than nonsense. But here I was reading genuine bigotry, disguised as bigotry always is as something noble. And it was so offensive to me. I said, I have to write about it. So I wrote a piece about it. Let me jump in. What you saw was class scoring. The kind of nasty snobbish contempt that we don't see in undisguised form much outside of like Christmas Carol. Like when ebenezer Scrooge talks about, you know, well, if they're starving, let them get up, get on about it and reduce the surplus population. Don't we have prisons? Don't we have workhouses? Well, Russell Moore is ebenezer Scrooge to the Christian right.
Jump to Conclusions - The Game
"Go. Wow. You know what, man, I am watching you over there on the other side. Of this. This desk. And you have been licking your chops. For like a week now over this whole whole thing. Why don't you tell everybody? All right. But first, I want to tell you guys my goodness, we're sponsored by this portion of the program, everybody bought brought to you if I can get through this by jump to conclusions. Jump to conclusions is a fun game that anyone can play. It's great for creating family conversations and pointless banter. With jump to conclusions, you just take a current news event and choose a side, but you're not allowed to know the full story. Facing supply chain issues, just blame one person. Choose between the president of the United States, that Amazon guy, or China, hey, Jay, did you know China is a person? Yes, yes, none of that. Your favorite social media platform facing a hostile takeover? Proclaim the end of life as we know it or celebrate a victory for your side. The goal of jump to conclusions is to convince as many people as possible that you're right and no other outcomes are possible. Play with as few as two people or as many as you like for a limited time jump to conclusions is available for free. Just go to any social media platform like Facebook or Twitter and use the promo code, you're all morons. That's hashtag you're all morons. Jump to conclusions, go in, go all in with half the information, right, Jay. Right, jump the conclusions is not recommended for holiday family events including Thanksgiving and Christmas. Side effects may include heated debate yelling name calling and leading early, play at work at your own risk and not responsible for outcomes.
Between Good Friday and Easter Sunday Is the Day With No Name
"This is a special day. It's a special episode of the Doug Collins podcast. The day is good Friday. So it's a special day in the holy week. Started last week with the what we know as palm Sunday triumphing across coming into traditional. And it is ending in probably the most poignant part in history. And I think that is for Christians in particular. We have Christmas, the birth that we celebrate in Easter in which really frames the whole dynamic of a Christian belief system that was Easter without the death and the resurrection. Even as Paul, one of the writers in our Bible says, you know, we don't have a faith apart from Christ being raised. So that is why you see Christians all over the world. Celebrating during this time. And it is a time in which we see the contrast of this world. In the past and we see the contrast of open the future. So today though, I want to do it a little bit differently. You've always heard and I am today as I've already said here. It's called good Friday. Which is on Sunday. So Easter Sunday is named Easter. And in the middle there is Saturday. And plastering a long time ago, I thought to myself, I said, that's why they're interesting to me that all these dates around these good Friday Easter, but Saturday, and today, but I think first we need to understand the trash to leave today, but also understand why they mean so much. So I want to start this on Friday. And if you're listening to this on Friday, if you're listening to the weekend or wherever we're starting as Jesus has already been betrayed, he's already been through the whole ordeal of being condemned. And now where I pick up in this reading and I want to start just getting the people of Jerusalem a chance. They can take a criminal barabbas and say he because each year he releases one during their celebrations of Passover and he's our lease. A criminal to you and he said, this is one criminal that has murdered. We know he's evil and he said, you can either release him or release Jesus who we don't see has done anything wrong. In fact, what he's trying to do is get out of
Second Booster or Natural Antibodies?
"There is a study out of Israel just released yesterday that shows that people who got a second booster had less complications from COVID, less severe symptoms, less illness, less hospitalization, less death. Who knows? I mean, at this point, I think they're flipping a coin. I decided, after I heard all this booster talk, well, you know, I'm vaccinated. I've got a booster. I had COVID over Christmas. Mild symptoms, I've got this big musical coming up next month in Dallas. I'm going to play suitless in a funny thing happened on the way to the forum, which is going to be a lot of fun at the majestic theater. Thanks to lyric stage, lyric stage dot org for tickets. It's going to it's going to be mounted the first weekend or the middle of the weekend in May. May, I think, 12 through the 15th or something like that. And you know, heaven forbid, I get COVID in the middle of that. Like I did when I played daddy warbucks in Annie, three weeks into the run, and I wound up getting COVID. And I had to miss the final weekend of performances. So that was, that was tricky. They had a understudy who came in and finished the run, which was great, but you know, with the antibodies test, 2500, my doctor says, Mike, you got plenty of antibodies.
Please Support International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
"And in the final week of that campaign, the international fellowship of Christians and Jews came to us, came to our network, and they said, we have an opportunity to bring planes of supplies, fly them into Ukraine, and when we empty the plains, we can get Ukrainian refugees out of Ukraine. And we can take them to the safe haven of Israel. Now, we've never done back to back like this before, and I will share with you I was very skeptical and worried. I get it. I understand people getting mad at me and you say, oh, Mike, you fundraised a lot. You know, a lot of years ago, my late wife, once said to me, hey Gallagher, with that big mouth in that platform you've got, why don't you take your show and do some good for people? And so Gallagher's heroes, the fallen officer fund was born. It's just an opportunity to do some good for other people, whether it's the families of fallen police officers, starving children, the children of prisoners, like we do a campaign every Christmas time through prison fellowship and boy, are they doing incredible work? They've got these academies I can't wait to tell you about. Anyway, when the international fellowship of and I know about this organization, I've seen Yale eckstein on TV. She's a force of nature. This is a wonderful organization and they were really anxious to get the word out and they knew they could do it here. And I said, all right, I mean, I want to help the people of Ukraine badly. How can I turn down being the catalyst to have kind loving listeners from all over the country donate to the campaign to get Ukrainians out of Ukraine and into Israel,

"Be on? But before the Victorian era, people wrap their gifts and paper. And you can do that paper and string. And that's beautiful too. Let me see what else we're gonna do. Okay, you know what's lovely, something that they do, they used to do in the past. If you're out, if you don't have anything in your own yard, I used to live in a place where I had an evergreen tree. But you can go out and clip some of the evergreen off, bring it into your house, but you can go to all the places where they're selling Christmas trees and garden, see if they have any laying around. Something that they might consider that they're not selling and just pick up a few sprigs of the of the of the evergreen tree and see if you can bring some of that into your house. Hey, see, if you can find a. Mistletoe. Okay, missile. You have to be careful with that mistletoe. It's not anything you can eat, but you can hang some mistletoe if you can find it. So just go ahead and take a look at that. So it would be nice to have something fresh in your house and you know if you can find some point setter and put that in your house, don't forget your candies. If you can find them, I understand they might be some difficulty with the finding any Christmas decorations or candies, but if you can do that, also candles, if you have some candles, you can put your candles out, that will be very, very nice. You just have to make sure you keep track of your candles and you know you have to be careful where you place your candles and you shouldn't have your candles burning overnight. They should be monitored. Also, if you have any difficult with any difficulty, finding a tree skirt, don't forget, you can use a sheet. Are any other fabric that you like for your tree skirt? And you can just make that as beautiful as you want. And. Let me see what else what other tips I have. For you today you know what I always did. I always used to if you have any cards from past christmases, a great Christmas decoration is to get your all your previous Christmas cards together if you have some string you can just straying along a little rope across the wall and just you know however you want to put that and just place your Christmas cards there are just sit all your Christmas cards out. On a table, the beauty of the different Christmas cards really make a very, very nice decoration, okay? And let's see. Don't forget to recycle afterwards. If you don't keep your, if you have an old tree, you're not keeping, don't forget to recycle all of your Christmas wrappings. Okay, you might have to bend those boxes or rip those boxes up, but don't forget to put that all of those Christmas papers and boxes in your recycle bin, okay? Just make sure they're small enough. Get them in there. If they can't fit in there for the next pickup, just put them in a bag, wait. Wait for that recycle bin to be dumped and make sure you put your papers. There's a lot of recyclable things coming out of people's houses the day after Christmas. Okay, so make sure that you recycle everything that's recyclable. Everything that package can be recycled all of that wrapping paper, okay? All of those boxes and plastics, they are recyclable. So make sure you do that. Okay, let's move on. And let's start talking about our recipes. I have a bunch of recipes for Christmas. Let's talk about our Christmas cake. Wait, wait, wait. Well, let's do our eggnog first. Let's talk about our eggnog. Now there's two recipes that I have for eggnog. One is for Puerto Rican coconut eggnog. And one is for the traditional eggnog. And for the adults in the room, you can mix that with a little bourbon or whatever else you like. Okay, so let's talk about the ingredients for eggnog. Okay?.

"Merry Christmas. We are almost there. Today is going to be a Christmas themed broadcast, we need these beautiful moments because of all of the real life. Seriousness that we must deal with. And we're just gonna bypass that for today. Don't worry, we're gonna be right back on voter engagement and making sure that everybody makes voting their lifestyle because voting should not be thought of as a burden it should be something we celebrate. Hey, let's talk about our Christmas Eve to do list. That my children are older now, my daughter's taking care of Christmas this year because I broke my ankle in three places, had surgery, and I'm still recovering. So she is having lots of fun. This is a tough year people at the same time, we are blessed. We could be a lot better off with the bill, better playing, that's my opinion. And I don't think people out there are spending their money on drugs or going hunting as senator Manchin has suggested. I don't know why people think that we Americans aren't working hard, and why we're the only country. Who have only received a marginalized amount of aid. I know we're tough, you know, I know we, you know, all of us we have this real killer. Backgrounds and everything, but come on, people. Give us a break here. So let's go ahead and talk about our Christmas Eve to do list. Okay, my kids always enjoyed preparing our Santa treat plate. So on Christmas Eve, you have to get that treat plate ready. Also get your kids to write Santa. A thank you note. And don't forget the reindeer treats. And you know, you and the kids can think of what the reindeers might like to eat, maybe if you nuts. They could have maybe some slices of apple. Something like that. You might still be wrapping your gifts. So you don't want to forget that. And you want to choose your family favorite Christmas movie and your family favorite Christmas music. And we just love right now. It's just wonderful. I mean, you can turn. On YouTube and find Christmas music. I mean, you've got your Spotify music, Amazon music. You may have some Christmas CDs. Hey, you may even have a few LPs. Our favorite, I just love all the Christmas music. I love Santa baby, of course, Mariah Carey. And our favorite movie is Scrooge. I love Scrooge to Christmas story. So we watched that over and over again, of course, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. And we just love things like that. You can have a sing along when you're listening to your music, some I love hot chocolate and popcorn and I've always wanted to string a Garland of popcorn. I haven't been able to do it. I understand that you should let that popcorn sit for a couple of days, so if you want to string some popcorn, I've heard people stringing popcorn and cranberries together, dried cranberries. You need to let that popcorn sit for a day. Let it become stale and they say it's easier to string. Also, you want to figure out what you're gonna do for Chris Christmas morning. Okay, and I have a recipe for you guys for some Christmas morning French toast. Hey, I love to keep track of Santa. So I'm sure it's gonna be something on YouTube. They may even be an app by having looked into that. So go ahead and take a look. Let's see if there's an app to track Santa. I'm definitely gonna take a look. Read your favorite Christmas bedtime story, whatever your kids choose. And don't forget, you want to FaceTime with your family and friends, send your Christmas texts, and also you might want to read the Christmas activity story. And you know, what you have to read the one for the kids, and you know, I always taught my kids to say happy birthday Jesus. And whatever your religion is, however you want to celebrate Christmas, you do that. You do you. That's the most important thing. Okay, now what are we gonna talk about? Let's talk about some tips for you guys. Okay, and a few ideals. Like I said about the popcorn for the Garland, just let it sit for a day to get stale. Oh, girls, you know, and ladies, men, boys and girls. Get some Christmas bags if you can find them. My daughter went Chris doing some Christmas shopping. She says it's the cupboards of bear as far as the Christmas wrappings and things like that. So do the best you can. But look, in the Victorian era, okay, let's say you get in a real pinch and you can't find your Christmas wrapping. Or you don't have enough rapping. Don't forget about brown paper. Okay? Or if you have something small enough, get you a sheet of white paper. And wrap that GIF and then just write on it, you know, you can write your little messages on it. There's plenty you can do. You can wrap your gifts. You can also wrap your gifts in cloth. Beautiful cloth. You can do that if things are tight. If for some reason, you don't find a wrapping paper. I always like to save the brown paper that comes in the packages from Amazon and other places like that. During the Victorian era, people wrapped things and beyond are asked, yeah, beyond the Victor, will I.

"While we are back and wow is dwight's desk festival what oh my. This is an epic prank by jim. Every single thing onto its desk is wrapped in christmas wrapping paper including his chair. Yeah when did you do this. How long did it take. What the heck. I have so much to share about this. Oh go all right. First of all justin spitzer told me. This was his idea. This was his pitch. He said that he was always talking to his friends. Who worked in the corporate world and he would ask them what's her pranks on in office. Because i think at a certain point it started to stress out the writers that they had to come up with these jim. Dwight pranks So they were always fishing. Tell me a prank office. He said that the single most mentioned prank. Was this idea of wrapping. Someone's desk in paper or aluminum foil So justin pitch this idea. We got so much mail from people asking. How did we pull this off. I reached out to randy cordray randy. He shared all the details. Of course he did and then he probably did a deep dive for you on something random. He did okay so first of all he said there was a note in the script that did not make it into the episode and it was a gym talking head. And here's how it went. Jim says actually. It took me about a week to recreate the desk and chair in chicken wire. I had to come in about four hours early and set it all up. And i think i put something in my back dragging dwight's real desk all the way up to the roof all for a three second pay off totally worth it. I read that too. I was like why. Why do you have to take the desktop to the roof. Why couldn't he just stash in the warehouse. I swear i remember us filming a tag of dwight working up on the roof. Oh my gosh. I swear we did. I can't confirm it. But i feel like i remember what you're walking from your trailer to hair and make up and you're like. Why are they putting a desk on the roof..

You need to have a plan the best plan you could have his a debt reduction plan for first thing you need to do is quit creating new debt and then make the minimum payments on all your credit cards. Save all your access money into your savings account which i also refer to as your emergency fund. When she had that build up to significant mount. Were you have enough for an emergency. Use the excess money to make a lump sum payment on your highest interest rate credit card in order to avoid the same problem next year. You need to increase your -mergency fund by the amount of the christmas spending that you did and past year that way when you go to pay your christmas bills you'll have the money in your emergency fund to pay off your credit cards down to the balance they were before you started your christmas shopping. "This guy then proceeds to say. It would make Christmas better less work. It was just all less stood. Chris- Christmas. Working a bunch of a process, you're version of Christmas. The best version of Christmas is. The best version I just confused. Why does Christmas have to be that much work? Because it's like you're putting yourself love Christmas, not because of how much work it takes, they just love it. Who who yes name more normal people? K. Yes Hannah where you here. You wouldn't feel like all the police if he takes your side. Remember remember perform kids when you liked Christmas and use set up your work. Set up your Christmas tree work. I will also say there's a yearning to do that also. But it doesn't happen. Why does its work? Yeah, it is work, but. But. It's something special about doing the work. If you love the work, you would have done it the last two years. Just admit if the grinch was gonNA, celebrate Christmas. Do it this way. It'd be said for the process, and there's something to be said for just wanting to enjoy the fruits of your labor, which is why, but wanted any answer other than and. He's right. E answer other than it could be either would mean that you have to work to enjoy Christmas and that's not the case. You don't have to work to enjoy Christmas I. Don't think you have to work to enjoy Christmas I want to be clear so I can. Decorate came in decorate your house. Decorated the house, I would like the US. I wouldn't like it really yeah. He wanted to go to. I. Want to go to other people's House and enjoy the decorations, but I also want to decorate for Christmas, so you're telling me if you. Get in the Christmas spirit. We decorate my tree the day after Thanksgiving every year. We Watch L.. The kids are out. It's it's the it's the best tradition you know. Put your kids. The kids are running around. It's they're young, but. That is if I had to do something like that for more than a few hours. I would not be happy about it. No one's asking you to do everything in one day. Over at any point over the course of the two months. If I have to do that, did multiple times I'm out. There's something very special about we win bought the tree. We brought it home. We're putting ornaments on it. We're putting lights on Elvis in the background. That is a very special moments that gets watered down. If I'm have to do something like that, but Christmas in a box is the Christmas tree shows up already. Decorators cinna boxes great because I. Get to do it all in one, but you would be fine, not decorating the tree is long is I've got to do all of it. The Christmas box allows me to do all of it in the amount of time it take. No, it doesn't allow you to do anything. Everything's already done I have to put it up. Still No, it just comes in a box. It comes in and boxes Prego, yes, in a box and to put it up. You've still just put it up. Roy decorated. Up All over the house now, everything they was the difference the differences. I don't I understand Christmas a box to be? You don't have to do anything about it. All comes from one store. You still have to put it up. It's just everything comes with the orange. So what's what's your beef? Then with decorating for? Christmas is I like the rest of the house. It's going and finding stuff from every once you do at once. You don't have to do it again. That's not true. Yes, I've used the same Christmas lights every year time victory in the movie. That's what I'm saying is why like you would still wouldn't do it and if you've got everything in a box. Go on so my house twice. I hated. You do I wouldn't do it again. So. What does this change? It changes the fact that I can do more in less amount of time. It's more well more. Would you do whatever's in the box brand new? But the lights go on the house. Whatever's ready to go in the box? They explained a tone of things i. want a week ago. I don't remember the, but it's not just a tree in lights. Things in the box. I would do everything then you'd make. You'd make the make the cookies way. If it came in the ball if it came in the box, so the reason you don't make Christmas cookies. Suit by the things separate find time to do it. The only staff at your kids, the box out you could order cookie stuff on the Amazon you went up to not going to do once again now we've gotten past one step I'm not doing it. I don't get it, so here's where I'm at now. That I've learned a little bit. Love for Miss. Dan's love for Christmas is like it's one laziest version of Chris last one day he can. He's only got one day and a couple with everything. I wanted to be issued sold us a bill of goods here because I've you like I'm pash about Kris onlookers. Christmas, I'm not passing up to you I'm relative to you. This may be the most passionate thing you are not about decorating ever. Correct Buckeye also your kids. Yeah Okay sleepy boy I've been sleeping and see people you haven't been. At it anyway because I love Christmas right now, okay I I believe Christmas I. "Yeah, it's enough for ME A. So it does have a couple things going forward. It is different and Andrew Walker and Nikki Deluge together a great great one percent great. The rest of this movie is very difficult, borderline offensive It is like the Adam Sandler vehicle click, but with less integrity like she cannot. Nikki delicious character cannot want anything of personal success in this movie, right, she can't. She can't want to be successful or job. She can't want to get to promotion. She can't want to be the boss she what she needs to find out in this movie is. She should just be following her husband around. Doing whatever he's doing to make him happy. That is the only possible thing that I could Garner from this movie. There's zero integrity involved in. It is a great premise with great actors, and they try to make it. They try in this maybe to make it all about her with the very end there like. They try to make it to where it's her decision and her. Blah Blah, but it just is completely devoid. The reality of a relationship and I didn't like it for that very reason. Yeah. I. Don't get it. I get him times. Nifty he he asked he demands. Do something definite. Do something I will say this? The first twenty minutes I was completely like bewildered at what was going on and props Nikki and Andrew for making something different, and they've got great chemistry and they know what they're doing. It just was a movie that had two zero integrity rallies why I disagree with that. Hears about. Hurry come so. What you have here is Nikki gets exactly. I'm going to call her Nikki. Yeah! Nikki Nikki gets exactly what she wants. She gets a chance to live the life that she's always wanted and then, and only then after a time of reflection for. Doing this job she comes back to. She goes not happy doing because it doesn't seem like it belittles her in this case because it's not like what we see in other hallmark movies. Where somebody is like a Oh what I guess I've really always needed in. My life is what she realizes is I. Don't like being the high exotic here I. Don't enjoy this. I much. Rather enjoyed going around and supporting. My husband had helping him launch this business and I. Get to use all those same skills so for me. It doesn't seem like it belittle I agree with. This is is different than regular. When the woman quits, drawl guy because she realized in the Grand Scheme of doing this that she missed the thing that she had left the reason that she misses, everything is because she no longer has her husband's. It's not the Jaguar and the promotion. She's been trying to get a promotion for years, and she says that in the show, but before they she goes in the dream. She says I've been trying to. Getting passed over what she realizes is that none of this stuff is worth it I'd rather have my husband, which is totally fine. I would much rather have my wife than successful career. The point is is that they make anything. That's her being successful out to be something. That's wrong. Even went before the dream starts do that. But really dreams starts is like just promotion. We'll come my way. Blah, blah, blah, and I really this job, so support my husband and I really don't Blah Blah Blah like it's. It's really just purely about her. Coming back around to just do whatever makes her husband now if that makes her happy great, it just seemed like it was taking five steps backwards to me. Okay how he wasn't the one that asked her to do that. He wanted her to do it. No, he didn't ask her to do it. He wanted percent didn't ask you to do it, but the point of the whole movie was she was happier, not climbing the corporate ladder. And she was happier just doing that. And you know what there's nothing wrong with that point what I'm saying. Is it really the that's not the way to go about this this movie from a standpoint you get a chance to have a different life. It should be other things other than your careers. Awesome, but you missed your spend. It shouldn't be one of the other. I think you're you're narrowing it I'm not I? Think movies narrowing it. Yeah your. Brain on this one being a narrow boy, the narrow boy being a narrow boy I've tried not to, but I'm being narrow boy I'm sorry. I shouldn't need the fancy cars. She the fancy coffees don't be fooled by the rocks this this is actually right Nikki from the Blackhawk. That's right. She she she used to have. A flaw. She's got her own. That's exactly right. I mean if Andrew's broke her love. Don't cost a thing. J.LO's gopher third one. Cons. Have A. Hey. It's time for all the fields show. We're talking about what in this movie gave us US feels for this. You play at home. I that gave you the feels sure we'll J. Lo. Pan The feels for you. Man Because I'm really the where you talked where you walk rule. Ghafour pretty much anytime. Paul is on the screen I. Get a feel like Paul Assistant, oh she. She's great in this space hilarious. Get her on the scene a lot. Well and I think this is one of the few times I feel like they utilize the beaker incredibly well for what she's doing I I have. As, a personal assistant makes no sense. Her job doesn't make a bit of sense, but she's. She's really all the big meetings. All the big means just hanging out. Kinship Personal Assistant Business Partner Right.
