"Alison Armstrong, the renowned relationship expert. Her website is understand men. Dot com. And she does understand men. As a man. So You were talking her. Her husband suddenly died a year ago and Look, if I got shocked, it's not possible for me to imagine. A shock to Alison, and we're talking about the grieving process, and I asked her what If anything, Might have helped. So the number one answer. Or the first answer, not necessarily number one was Are people coming into your life and not prescribing. Their way of grieving that I get you correctly. Yeah, I have friends. They just didn't have an agenda. For me. It was like Everybody does it different. This is how you're doing it. So a lot of space. No matter what you want space and friends or more space than friends. I needed both. Can you hear without? Yeah, I needed I needed friends with these And and our is so and hasn't been exacerbated by the locked down in the quarantining. Uh, no. Actually, I have I have discovered how much I love alone time. I think you know I was quarantine because I had the virus Enticement 2060 And I love it. It actually loaded. I wasn't done at the end of it. I had no idea. I've never lived alone in my whole life. Until last year, and I actually really, really love it. I need a lot of a long time. And, uh, you know, the last time it wasn't a problem for me. It was weird the last week and I let my first life program in front of people since January, which Kind of crazy because you know, done that two times a month for 25 years. So, uh, I found out I didn't need that. I'd like my well being does not require I'm on stage. I get to fight up. All right. I wanted to get an update. Oh, you mentioned the second thing that was helpful. What was that? Christina Rasmussen's work. Cristina the C H. Her book called 2nd 1st which I talked about last year. Another book called Where Did you Go? And, uh, And the by, nor a poem that goes with that ability to reset my brain again and again and again, Because grief is like I mean, I call it a long island iced tea, except for it, you know, sadness and loss and anger and fear. And your brain is soaking in that cocktail and the all that emerge from that again and again because of her recording. I'm really grateful. That's great, great to know. All right, Alison. Take it away. By the way, folks just let me go. I want to remind my listeners you're the only person Who sets the agenda on my own show. It's when Alison Armstrong is on it is theology. Armstrong Show Our guest is Dennis Prager. She She allows every time she's on She allows me to be with her. Yes. Get interrupted. Get to recap, break star everything. I just vanquished the control. Um Okay, what I want to talk about today. Is Are all the way Oh, but several ways that we literally From the people who are trying to provide for We literally prevent them from being able to provide for us and by what we do and don't dio and that we live in a world of thinking our husbands and wives and girlfriends and families don't want to take care of us when we don't realize we're actually preventing it from happening and they're really trying and they can't possibly win at it. Because of what men and women do naturally and instinctually, So I want to name it. And then I want a fit. I love it. Go ahead. Okay, So here's the thing. Almost everyone communicates what they need to their partner in a way that is not actionable. You have action oriented people called men. We have hatched brilliant people called women won't be tasking actionable and and then we give them things that can't be acted upon. And what I mean by that. Is we tend to speak in in this very vague. I need more attention. I need more time with you. I need more support. I need more affection. I need more sex. I need more appreciation. And we expect someone Really stepped into that and Pickering. But it's more you need more more. What's more, How does one do more something? We literally like our brain. Freeze! How much is more is there? Could you possibly get enough attention and the support enough admiration? Can I ever win it more? Right. More money Now. How much money do you need? I need more. But how much? Tell me how much you tell me how much you need. Then I can figure out how to give it to you. Just more her. Everybody. I cannot tell you. I can't tell you. I am smiling so broadly. It's hurting my check. I want you to know you will love this. I have. I have said this in speeches. I don't know if I mentioned that ever on the radio. I monitored I monitored by second child's first words. And they went like this. Where a number one was Mama. Work number two was Dada. And word number three was Mohr. Ah, yes, yes, they could get it. However, you are what you said. I was so Good. How Muchmore. That's right. Yes, and even that it gets worse. It gets worse, because first we're saying more right, which is Not winnable. And then we don't even use words that way. So what do you mean by more attention? What? What is attention look like one's affection. Look like What is appreciation look like I mean, there's so many different currencies of appreciation, and people are appreciating people all the time and no one appreciated because their pain in the wrong currency. You know, like a woman sitting it in today? Well, my my husband doesn't receive appreciation very well. And I mean, just recently he let me help him like Lassie like You think Help is appreciation to most men. They want to be helped ill. So it's just so there's the more which is not quantifiable or doable. And it has no when, right And And then there's defining it. What does it look like? Okay, we'll hold it there. I love.

Where'd you go that you didn't before? This book has a process in it though. I haven't seen before and it's something I can take myself through and I can use the sounds and playing on the the headphones and it's almost like a hypnotic process but you don't need a hypnotherapist or any Kinda hypnotists to take you through it. You can do it yourself and also you can experience it with other people you can get together in a group and say and support each other and talk about and if somebody's not going so far with it other other people might have gone far and say well. I refused I thought about it with myself and And this decision was definitely coming from from the world beyond world. This was not coming through my logical mind. It was coming from science. It was coming from something that I had yet to experience thing not to trust it so as we go through the portal. We Oh we find find ourselves in the Temple Lena versus and I want to hear everything that takes place from now on in this journey was obviously not in the in the plan at all at least was expected. Why how did that happen Doc? Of course just like you said imagine that this is not what what adore would look like for me. Another person for example said the door. We're opening so much a shut in my face and I couldn't get in other people a sometimes would start with one door in another door would show up later on on my own experiences. Simon changed I actually the first time I took people through. I think this was gonna be a guided tation so I was told them I told them to move for crystal door. Because that was my door and you know what happens. That's taste why this book was written by me but it's written everything in it is because of all these people's experiences this was made through many deep people's during these So when people came back and said but Christina. I'm sorry but I have to tell you this. My door was not crystal. Nobody's so a crystal door even though I told them to me and my daughter was big kind of Victorian House tool that was bright. If you've had another journey again did you ever go back. Yes yeah push the door open deepen and I go through and it was like when the door open. I wasn't in a hallway. Oh Room it was like I was in the sky and it was all cloud and I just couldn't see at the end of it. It was just a big space. I love that I'm smiling. The habit breaks the haven't experience for those folks when that happens because he wasn't happening so long it's something so extraordinary that they will never forget a change their life completely and then the rest of the of the of the readers. "Memories near death experiences spirit communication and other incredible phenomena so this is episode one hundred i. I didn't know when I started. If I'd ever get this far I have an. It's only because I've had such great feedback from people that listened to the podcast and I'm very grateful. I see is episode. Sold one hundred. I thought I'd put a post on the past lives podcast facebook group asking if anyone had questions regarding the cost questions were posted on the group and perceive some through. DM boatswain's dark message. Some going to go over a few now. So this is a question posted by Lonnie. How how have your opinions changed through the years on near death experiences and between life I've found over the years? Is that the more why research those things the more evidence the more information there is that confirms for me that there is something spiritual happening so I wouldn't say say that my opinions have changed over time. I'd say that my feeling that this stuff is real. As being reinforced by stronger evidences. Tongo zone next ally has on the facebook group. She says would be good to hear a bit about your journey to where you are today. I kind of feel the I've I have come to beat doing podcasting almost like it's part of my life's plan all the things that have happened to me of being an aim to encourage me me too. The polk costing even going back. When I was a child in the seventies when obviously there was no podcasting it was almost like I was getting pushed in a certain direction because I had these weird little experiences over time psychic flashes and I saw two? UFO's at ten years upon. And I was very very close to one of them and it was almost like it was getting a little shove every time and I did my past life regressions on then. I decided that that was something I wanted to do. As a hypnotist so oh an extensive courses a hypnotherapist on then is what. It's doing the hypnotherapy. I was taking people who through the past life regressions but then not led me onto doing the podcast. It's kind of like step by step. I'm getting a little push on the way I who balances the question so lucy sent me a message saying why. Don't you challenge guests when they say things. That are a bit too crazy with white. I view this podcast is the I'm just giving people the opportunity to get their information across cross. It's not my position. I think to challenge them. Why wanted to help those people? Tell the story give out their information and then it's the listeners snooze who can make up their own minds whether it's crazy or not and then Wendy has asked what's been the biggest surprise from hosting the program mm-hmm I suppose one of the big surprises. How many people so happy to come on the program and so many of the guests have said how they think getting this information out? There is really important. I'm the that's what they're trying to do with their books and so they stay. Offer me any help that they can dan. And it's really humbling and the so many people out there who are interested in this who are researching. This had experiences. So that side of it's just being great great dean US 'cause He says I wonder how many hours go on behind the scenes before and after each recording. Well I Louis read the book of the guest if they've got a book out so obviously that takes a few hours some while I'm reading it a tight notes and I stopped the questions for the podcast cost and then obviously the recording takes an hour hour and a half. I'd say and then after that. There's the editing which can take a couple of hours and then after that it has to be processed so you know there's a fee lower that go into each one hour recording Karen sent me a message saying do I feel any kind of paranormal metaphysical things have been triggered by doing this. PODCAST will somme see. I think there's a weird thing happening with feathers interview Teresa Cheung and she was talking about angels on how they dropped feathers in front of you. Sometimes and I didn't know about angels before I started doing the Po- cast if anybody had mentioned the mother with full. I'm I'm not sure about this. But my idea of angels has changed and after I talk to have the week off dry Tortora. This white feather just fell out the sky right in front of me a little while later I did an interview with Claire. Broad the medium and after we stopped recording we carried on talking we must have taught over an hour and I did mention her. The thing thing about the federal falling out of the sky right in front of me and she talked a little bit about angels as well so after I finished that call with Claire I went down stays stays to see my daughter and right in the middle of her floor there was a fella on. It was so strange that coincidence or let synchronicity that I was talking to declare about it exactly the same. You know evening. The it was it came together in a weird way for me. Maybe even stranger is months later. I was sitting with a medium and I didn't tell her who I was before the sitting and it was only after I said you know you recommended to me by clay broad and I do this podcast and I start talking about angels and feathers and she said to me look at the fool and then in the middle of the floor between us was a white feather and it hadn't being there throughout the whole hour that she was doing her medium ship in the sitting and I just do not know where it came from and I was a little freaked out when that happened. A A picture of it on the facebook group and so that is something I think may have been triggered by talking about it on the podcast because it came from Teresa Cheung Young then. I talked to play abroad about it so I don't know where these feathers came from. They may be just a coincidence. But I find it interesting okay. I'm just GONNA do one more question. This comes from Jeff and Sir. I've mentioned before on the podcast a couple of times that I'm a bass player and the music at at the beginning and the end of the podcast is as stuff I've written and recorded and he says can you tell us more about your base playing. Well I won't do it now. I'll do it at the end of the episode sewed and what I'm also going to do is put the full length version of the theme music the end which is Three or four minutes long. It's an instrumental and type hype. You hang around and listen to it. This is the free one hour version of the interview. If you'd like to hit the full extended version you can sign up to the five deliver on patron we get access to the weekly twenty minute bonus episodes on the growing back catalogue which is now a full episodes. Sometimes when the interview goes over one hour as it has done here I will meet the extended episodes available to patrons.

"Also topping our news this time here locally, a major impact of immigration how much taxpayers foot the Bill for the people that Nancy Pelosi calls newcomers, and we've got KTAR h Saunders slide jokes ES. Sharon numbers from the center for immigration. Studies saved migrants us about twice as much welfare is native born Americans do and that seventy percent of non-citizen homes in Texas use welfare political analyst, George C telling KTAR h that's a magnet for illegals. Had a major reason why the president is fighting to secure the border. Problem number one. And we just haven't addressed it yet. Now, you've got a hostile. I wouldn't even call him a loyal opposition trying to block us from doing just that. And because we have all these people coming here and drawing from the government. Well, well, you wind up paying for it. Put a huge strain on the system in all the public hospitals is, you know, run huge deficits every year because we're getting out all this free care to people who are who are citizens. We also see more foreign workers coming here, the bureau for labor statistics as foreign workers. Share have now outpaced American workers in terms of job growth for the last six months. Okay. That's not the kind of sign you want to say, thanks a lot cliff while much of the media focuses on funding for a border wall. The Trump administration's proposed budget also includes welfare reform, which is aiming to get people back to work more than twenty years after President Clinton signed welfare reform, millions of able bodied Americans remain on, Medicaid and food stamps. You are in able bodied adult crime working ages at eighteen to forty nine and you have no kids at home. If you wanna maintain your benefit, you need to work train, or volunteer at least twenty hours a week, Christina Rasmussen at the foundation for government accountability says the Trump administration only trying to enforce these requirements and get people back to work every dollar. We spend on able bodied adult is a dollar. We can't spend on the truly needy. And they really has never been a better time to move American from welfare to work things to Trump's booming economy. Many of the reforms she says do not be congressional approval..
