"Partnered her music. He just doesn't know. Well, that's true. It only listens to talk radio. But it's kind of amazing how xan, this is how this how it works with parenthood. Chris is going to happen to you one day. I'm sure it will. Would never would probably never have reached out to start listening to lizzo if it wasn't for him, and now sza. Why does that make you laugh? Because it make you laugh. Rich eisen 8 years ago is not the same man that rich eisen. Today is all I'm saying. It's a beautiful thing. It's growth. I love it. You know what? You know what I am? I'm a Tapestry. You just woven. There's different strands now that you never thought existed. I like it. Picasso. I might be one of the few people in the forum tonight. We'd be the oldest one there. I don't know. You will let you know. I'll let you know. There'll be others. When was the lizzo concert? This year last year. It was just a couple months ago. I mean, was it in 23? It might have been 2022. So within the year period, you've seen lizzo and sza. Both of the form. That's about that. Both in the city of champions. How about that? We're winning time once upon a time happened. It's a beautiful day. So here's the thing is I will admit, I will be definitely bringing up the median age tonight. Come off on the oldest, but thanks for asking. Keep an eye out. I might be one of the, I mean, it might be one of the few that's following. Tennessee versus Florida Atlantic on my phone. You know? Yeah. For sure. Everybody, you know, has their cell phones out lighting up their phone cameras. Lights. Thunder clippers. And here I am trying to make sure I've got enough. Battery power to make sure that I'm checking UCLA Gonzaga's tonight. PEEP in the end and Nick's magic. I did that last year during the duke North Carolina tourney game. I was at WrestleMania. Watching WrestleMania, but also watching this game on my phone and watching duke lose the Caroline. I might have to put the March Madness app on the phone, right? That's not getting into the spirit of everything, right? Will it be professional? You also got to think about work a little bit. I understand that. I'm also being father of the year. And by the way, she is one of the hottest entertainers on Planet Earth. Yes, she's despite you saying who? Chris. That's just on me. It is not a reflection of her eyes. Okay. I'm glad you can admit that. I just text you guys a picture of her. I literally, I just did the Google. I truly thought, am I going to bring it up today? And if I do, do I say, hey, guess what I'm seeing tonight? Look straight at you, TJ just to make you laugh. I'd been like, what is happening? Ask ZA tonight, everybody. The rhythm, the gza. This is a, here we go. Am I the reason? This show. There is a eisen shell. Oh, good one. Yeah, you'd be the wrist of the rich eyes. Because you know, you put it together, even though Wu Tang, they form like voltron and Jesus they had, but riza put Wu Tang together. So you'd be Rizzo, yeah. The rich is a show. What am I? I mean, I think I'd like to be method man, bro, you know? You're talking my language. That's my man right there. That's your man right there. He showed up once and he hasn't shown up again. That's my man right there. That gentleman. In my house. We need him back. That voice. Will I run into him tonight, maybe? I doubt it? Okay. Holler at your boy. Hour three coming up. Also the look he gave me when I went on my Staten Island spiel. To have method man here. And you there. I had to have you bring up to him. The fact that Staten Island is not really part of New York City. That's one of your greatest hits. Yeah, it is. He's not wrong. Along with Daniel Jones shouldn't be paid. That's a new one. We call those hits though? Yeah. Are those hits? But Daniel Jones is a new head. I think it's Chris brockman's greatest misses. Is anyone going to create his misses album? Somebody put together, hey, that's going to be on my greatest. That is great. What if steely Dan put together their greatest miss wells, according to according to Susie, it's every single one of their songs. She hates you. What? Not a steely Dan. Oh my God. I'm playing peg. Hey 19 is one of the greatest songs of all time. Come on. Well done. Whenever steely Dan comes up on the yacht rock station, it's an instant turn for I believe that aja may be in like the top ten albums of all time. I think steely Dan is a more of a male oriented thing. Man, believe it or not. Ricky, don't lose that number? Did you realize that? I think you're right. I get it. In the years? A woman like a song. That's true. It's just in my read the lyrics. True. I brought up

"You got a good story about when you realized he had an it factor. Christian, you got a good Trey Lance story for me on that front from back in college. Is it in a huddle in a game and any moment? It was in a practice where you're like, oh, I mean, honestly, for me, you know, he was a year younger than me, so he came in the year after me, so he came in. And you know, for me, obviously, you was the same Trey Lance that he was when he was leaving as he was when he stepped on campus. You know, obviously he was younger and experienced at that at that point and you know, so was I, you know, being a second year sophomore in college. But I mean, he still had that dog. He had that grit and that grind. Yeah. So maybe you sat down there, you know what? Starting out on scout team, just seeing him perform like better than the quarterbacks that we are facing weekend a week out. So I saw from the moment he stepped on campus that, you know, he had something about him. Last one for you, Christian Watson. What do you and again, I know I'm asking somebody who's entering year two of a season of a career in the NFL. This question, but there's a lot of packers fans who might be concerned Rogers gone, love comes in, how good can the packers be, the offense will have to start from scratch or anything of the envelope. What do you say to fans in Green Bay who might be concerned about that? Certainly since you would have a lot of hope placed within you, having seen what you have been able to do after just one year in the NFL. What do you tell packers she's had nation right now, Christian? I mean, for me, it's really just, you know, regardless of how the situation depends. I think that we can be as good as we want to be, I mean, it's all just going to come down to every single player, you know, being a 100% bought into getting better and coming together as a team. But I have no worries going into going into this next year regardless of what the situation may be. You know, whoever it is, running the helm. I know that we have a lot of talented guys in a lot of guys who can make some plays and make some stuff happen. So we can be as good as we want to be. We're just going to have to put in that work and come together as a squad. Christian, thanks for the time. Greatly appreciate it. Let's do this more often. Congrats on your first year in the league. Being as successful as it was, and let's do this again, certainly when we have a little bit more clarity in your neighborhood. Yes, no, for sure. Thank you. I appreciate it as well. You got it. That's Christian Watson. Here on the rich eisen show, coming off of that Green Bay, packers season where, you know, he was drafted in that second round, I mean, that drop in the first game against Minnesota. There's no, I was thinking of asking about it, but what's there to say? He bounced back. He sure did. I mean, when he was hurt too, right? And he bounces back and then against your cowboys had a common out party. Yeah, thanks, Christian. For catches of 107 yards, three touchdowns, including a 58 yarder, followed it up with two touchdowns against Tennessee, and that's when he disappeared off of your fantasy radar waiver wire. Yeah, raise your hand if you're the idiot who drafted him and then when he got hurt, dropped him because you needed the roster spot. It's Chris brockman. Raising his hand for the radio audience. And then he had a touchdown against Philadelphia and then a touchdown against Chicago. And then no touchdowns after that, but he did have a 104 yards receiving in that must have final game in Lambeau Field. He was great last half of the year, man. He was. He's going to be the number one. Just a touchdown maker. Yeah. And you heard, he's just a, he's a young kid. Let me get this right here. 23. 23 years old. He turns 24 in May. That's my point here with Rogers and the packers and we don't know what we don't know. It's obvious that there's something up that we don't know that went down and hasn't gone down and whatever is playing into this standoff where the packers are suddenly demanding the value as opposed to just moving on, getting the best that everyone can do. But you just hurt, like part of this may be Rogers. It's just walking around. What's up North Dakota state? That's the first words he said to him. Pretty funny. And I wouldn't blame him. He's a 38 year old walking around the locker room saying, okay, kid from North Dakota state just met him. What do we need him to grow up fast? What's up, Nebraska? Is that where Dobbs is from? Romeo Dobbs? And so maybe he just doesn't want to do it there anymore. And that's totally fine. I get it. Yeah, I mean, and maybe also the packers. Would be well within their rights to understand knowing how both might feel they're grinding each other's gears, let's have

"Click ranger dot com or just stop by this young man had 7 receiving touchdowns in his rookie season for the Green Bay Packers all within a span of four weeks when he became the fantasy darling of so many. He's getting set for year two now and the National Football League. Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers making his first rich eisenhofer. How you doing, Christian? I'm doing great. I'm doing great. How are you doing? I'm doing fine. Wherever I found you, where are you right now in the middle of March of your first full off season here? Where are you? I'm down in, I'm down in Tampa, a train that House of athletes with yo Murphy. It's been treat me well so far. So I'm excited to keep on keep on shopping at Nazis. Okay. And so where were you one year ago at this time, post combine? And were people knocking on your door? Walk me through what a lot of the soon to be rookie receivers in the NFL are going through right now, Christian. Yeah, no, I mean, for me, it was hectic. It was crazy during this time. Obviously you don't get done with the combine. I was doing my 30 visits and I was, I think I ended up doing 8 or 9 of those last year, so I was traveling back to back to back, making sure I could get all those in that little month time span before the draft. So I mean, it's crazy for me. It was hectic. I was probably on a plane right now, headed to a headed to a team to do some interviewing. Nin, did you get a sense that the packers had you on there radar screen? Christian? Did you guys see this? I did. I had a visit with the packers and I thought from the moment I got there and I saw the vibes were good. The conversation went well and everything was going smooth and I could kind of see their interest in me as a player and as a man just going through all the interview process. So I definitely felt that connection there. So you had you had an in person with them in Wisconsin. You had you did. Okay. Who would you meet with when you were there? Everybody, everybody. I mean, the entire coaching staff, the entire special team staff. I met with everybody while I was there. Okay. You met with everybody while you were there. When was the first time you had a face to face with Aaron Rodgers, were you actually saw him and you're in the same room and you were looking to Christian? When was the first time for that? I think he came through a couple of times. He didn't participate in the OTAs, but I think the first time I saw him, he had come through, it was like right before the mandatory mini camp he had came in for a day. He just walked by me and said, he said, what's good in North Dakota state? That was up to. The first interaction I had with him just him passing through locker room. Well, I mean, in the whole conversation, you know, when you were drafted, Christian was getting rookie receivers or getting new blood at that position for Rogers. I mean, that was the whole conversation to see who could be drafted to help him out because Devante Adams had left. Were you aware of all those conversations about the young receivers and Rogers at the time were you fully cognizant of it or you were not paying attention to it, Christian? I mean, for me it was more so kind of in one year out the other. In my main goal was just to, you know, from ground zero to build up my relationship with him and just try to be the outlet for him as much as I could. So I mean, I heard them obviously, but in one year and out the other for me. Okay. And so what about the early on relationship with Rogers and you? Christian. I mean, for me, for me, it was kind of just a rocky start in general. You know, having my little knee clean up pre training camp and not being able to get those reps in with him during training camp. I mean, I feel like that was just a little setback for me because I know I know, especially for a guy of his experience, getting those reps in and building up that trust and that confidence in me from him is going to be huge for me. And in terms of starting off hot, you know, I think that that was just a little setback for me, but I mean, it was kind of another step in the road. So I kind of had to take it as it was. But you know, I think as I was able to kind of get more reps with him and get more, get more of that confidence going up with him. I think it was just kind of, you know, up from there. Well, then certainly started to click when you got back healthy and you started playing and getting a ton of targets. I guess you could say it started against Dallas that over time victory that was your first career 100 yard game and then you started following it up with that three touchdown performance with another multiple one the next week. What did click for you? What do you think that was, Christian? I mean, for me, it was that confident piece, you know, just knowing that everyone has that confidence in me and then just me being able to have that confidence myself to just go out there and just play the ball that I know I'm capable of playing everyone wants to say that they had that confidence until you're really out there and performing the way I actually want to perform in the back of the head. You know, I want to kind of brush that off my shoulders and just get rolling and play the football bob I wanted to play. I think it was just that was I had to get that off my back and I was rolling from there. How did a kid from Phoenix wind up in North Dakota state? From Tampa. I mean, you played your high school. You're born in Phoenix. You played in high school in Tampa. How did you wind up in North Dakota state? Christian. That was my only offer coming out of high school. You know, I was under recruited. I was undersized throughout the majority of my high school career. So I was a late bloomer. I think I shot up four or 5 inches and like 30, 40 pounds going into my senior year. So I kind of overlooked up until that point and in North Dakota state just kind of put their trust in me. And I ended up being my only offer so I committed and just, you know, let the stones lay as they may. I just, you know, made the most of the opportunity. Hold on a second. That's a word I've never heard associated with you is undersized, Christian. So what were you as a junior in high school? What do you got? My junior season, I was around 5, 9, 5, ten, like a 145 pounds. What? And then going into my senior year, I was around 6 two or 6 three, 175, hundred, 80 pounds. Oh my gosh. So you got to get new clothes and everything. I mean, that's unbelievable. Because right now, I mean, you look like a grown ass man when standing in the end zone. I'm not going to lie. You know, I thought about it nowhere and then I kept on growing up, 'cause I went to I went to college, you know, 6, two and a half, 6, three. 6, four, 6, four and a half that I am now and obviously, you know, put on a lot of weight filled out a little bit more. So I came in late, but obviously it all came to what it is today. So then how do you keep it all a Christian Watson here on the rich ice show? This is amazing. I honestly did not know this about you that you had a growth spurt and then you go to North Dakota state obviously one championships there with Trey Lance, who I'd love to talk with you about in a moment. And then you suddenly you wind up at Lambeau Field, devonta Adams has gone. You got the pressure of being the second round draft choice that you need to come in right away with Aaron Rodgers, you're standing there with Aaron Rodgers of all people. You know, at Lambeau Field. And then was your head spinning last year? Christian to be very honest?

"All $200 million guaranteed happen in a contract because as it is right now, it costs another team in order to do that to first round picks, the possibility of doing the work and having some other teams sign and get them anyway. You might, you're not guaranteed to get him in two years, you are, because they will not be able to franchise tag him. Again, and just ask Kirk Cousins how that all worked out for him. It did. He was able to finally turn on the franchise that kept on one year franchise tagging him and say, I'm out of here, see you later, and I'll show you what I can do somewhere else. The situation for Lamar Jackson and the fact that he has made a demand that the ravens are clearly not going to meet reportedly allegedly from what it seems from afar, that's earned him the non exclusive franchise tag. And he is seeing right now that in this current state of affairs, no team is going to go first on Lamar or two first on Lamar. Right now, certainly when they don't want to potentially give him all that money guaranteed. It's a lot of money and it's a lot of draft capital and it's a lot of changing horses in midstream. How many teams do you think that would even consider putting an offer sheet out there for Lamar Jackson? Went into their off season planning, saying, we might be able to get Lamar. In the same way that Tampa went into their off season planning scene, we might be able to get Brady the year that Brady was available. Brady was a free agent. You could get him for nothing, but your money. That's it. So people are going to have to change their plans midstream and you could sit here and say it's Lamar Jackson. You should do it. Well, that's not the way a lot of NFL franchises operate. You just heard that from Thomas Dimitrov. But in terms of awkwardness, I'm sure if he signs that franchise tender and winds up playing for the ravens, then they have to go into the season together. And Lamar, I would proffer to say, should get out there and finish because the last thing he wants to have hanging over him when he does finally hit free agency and be able to sign with anybody is the whole, well, you can't finish a season. This is just a wildly unprecedented and I just don't know how it's going to wind up other than him being back with the ravens right now. It would be amazing if somebody steps forward and gives him an offer sheet. And then creates a conundrum for the ravens with a 5 day clock that starts. Do you actually go ahead and match that? I think they do. I don't think they're going to go into the season with Tyler Huntley. I just don't. 8 four four two O four rich number of dollar Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers is when we come back right here on the rich eisen show reportedly. Don't go anywhere. We also have Tom Pelosi an hour number three to talk all about this Lamar latest coming up.

"Is incredibly popular there, and he's still great at playing the sport of football. Let me see what I have here in front of me. Indeed, I have him running for 1538 yards last year. So there's that. And instead, we're going to go flip for Deandre Hopkins. I love the move, obviously. If this is what's happening, the bills getting Deandre Hopkins and saying, that's Stefon Diggs over there. You don't want to pay too much attention to him. Guess what? There's Deandre Hopkins and Gabe Davis smoking. Smoke routing his way down the field. I kind of dig it. I mean, that's not a very no, not a very strong limb to go out on. A very thin limb, but we'll see what happens. I would do that in a heartbeat. They've been trending all week. It was just like, everyone's just waiting to see what happens with him. What do you think it's worth? Three, four? Well, you know, it's like Albert had the report yesterday that it's going to be in the similar value of the Brandon cook straits. So that was a uniform, right? So what is no brainer? What are you? Well, it's not a sense that he's owed 34 million guaranteed. Who cares? In the next two years. Next two years. So what? I'm just saying. Let me ask this question. I mean, I know what the answer. What he's owed and all that. So 34 money. He's 30 years old. Sorry, turns 31 in June. Okay. Let me ask you this question. When the rams are potentially lamenting, oh, we don't have Jalen Ramsey anymore. Or they're lamenting last year was a pretty, was pretty difficult. Injuries and all that stuff. And, you know, we're not able to keep everybody because we can't pay everybody anymore. And this year might be a little bit more difficult. Do you think when they're going through those conversations? They don't look down at that hand of theirs. And see some shiny object back and just think something different. Of course. That's it. You have to go for it. I don't care how much money it is. Figure it out. They got some smart people in that front office. And you don't know how to do too? I take whatever draft choices I don't have left. What? A third or whatever might cost? For Derek Henry, and get them both. Well, now if that happens. Damien Harris and Derek Henry run in the ball. And Diggs and Hopkins and Davis catch it. And Alan thrown it. Two things. One, that would Trump whatever the jets might be thinking about with Aaron Rodgers. Jeff telling the truth? Jeff Darlington saying they're in on hotel. The jets are? Yeah. Okay. That will Trump. And. You think last year's bandwagon will have the bills preseason in the NFL media world was full? Okay. So there you got that too. Stay tuned. I like that. Deandre Hopkins going to the bills, man, that would be something else. Christian Watson's calling in in ten minutes time. We'll get that the Green Bay packer young man on the phone. I just use those words like I'm an old man. I mean, he's like something. Okay, so Bryce young's at his pro day in the Panthers are talking to him like he's CJ Stroud. I told you. And wait till he works out. He's working out in 20 minutes. He is. NFL plus. Wait till he works out. There you go. Yeah, I mean, like you said, rich, it's going to be yesterday. We were all wowed by CJ throwing the deep balls, throwing the deep outs and now it's Bryce's turn. And that's what's going to be. And then we'll allow this tomorrow. We'll have us is going to throw at 60 yards. Now, if I'm will levis, I put on a and I'm not being taken out to dinner by the Panthers tonight. Then what? I want to, it's not that great. It's the best place to eat in Lexington. I mean, you know, Panthers have taken out Stroud and young to dinner back to back nights. Are they taking out Anthony Richardson on Monday? They should. Sunday Night. If they're not, I'd be concerned if I was one of them. Gene in Florida, let's take his phone call, line one there, Mike. You right here in the rich eisen show, what's up, gene? How you doing, rich? What's going on? I was just wondering what you thought about, I mean, I know we talk a lot about. And Lamar Jackson. And I was just wondering if you think that it's really going to go too far to where I just heard your interview with a guy or now. Thomas Dimitrov, the former general manager. He was like, well, I mean, people really, really quite interested in Lamar. I mean, is he actually doing himself a disservice by not having an agent and just not moving forward with this? I don't know. Here's the thing, gene is like, if he returns to the ravens, some people might say, is like, he's tucking his tail or whatever. By the way, $32 million is a heck of a tail talk that I think most people would take. Certainly he loves ball. He loves ball. He loves playing it. And business is business. He would go back. The question is is what happens in a week, ten week 12? MCL sprain. What happens again? And thanks to the call gene, my counsel to Lamar then would be play and fight through whatever you can. And I know a lot of people say, well, don't do that, Lamar, because you don't want to put your body on the line for somebody who's not putting their money on the line to the way that you want to do it. And that's part of the reason why he wants fully guaranteed money because he's taken a lot of hits. I saw. Our friend Dan Orlovsky say that he's taken maybe a thousand hits in his career, so he should get all the money that he can. The problem for him is the way that the system is currently running. For him,

"Trust fund fans. And I think there is a hubris of packers fans who just say, get them out of here. Rogers is too weird. The rich eisen show. How dare you celebrate that man's departure? Earlier on the show. Former NFL general manager, Thomas Dimitrov. Still to come. Packers wide receiver, Christian Watson, NFL network insider Tom palisado. And now. It's a rich I said. Our number two of the rich eisen show is on the air. Christian Watson of the Green Bay Packers about to chime in here on program. We just talked momentarily, moments ago with Thomas de mitrov, the former general manager of the Atlanta Falcons last hour. He had some interesting things to say. He thinks the Panthers absolutely traded up to go get somebody in mind and that they're just doing due diligence tire kicking right now. His first initial thought was it's CJ Stroud and he's like, no on the owner, the owner probably you can watch a lot of college football and I know Ohio State fans will say, hey, we won some too. But getting somebody from Alabama is somebody that he might actually kind of dig. Getting Bryce young and they won't be concerned about the height or anything like that. He also said that he thinks it's Arthur smith's call in Atlanta and that Arthur's just not interested in changing things around and changing horses in midstream just because the ravens and Lamar Jackson can't figure out how to work a long-term contract together. It's what his thoughts were. That the general manager all do he all due respect to Terry Fonda. And he's also said part of the reason why the falcons might be in that mindset is they just got out of cap hell because as some guy who used to be there was a funny line that Thomas was dead. Pretty funny. You know? That deal with Matt Ryan kind of strapped them for a little bit, but now they're clear of it. Right. Now they're clear of it. I kind of like what they've done. They've definitely improved the roster and if you feel good about Ritter and you bring Heineken, a guy who's proven that he can spot start and win some games, then away we go. I think they really like Desmond Ritter. I think they really like the kid from Cincinnati. He's a winner. He's very mature for somebody who's in just a year or two. He's a father. He's already got a family going. He's an adult in the room. He's an adult in the room. I think that was one of the many attributes ascribed to Ritter that put him up a lot of people's draft boards last year. But he wasn't a first round talent, and that's why a lot of people are looking and saying, so why are you sticking with this young kid who's not a first round talent? And overlooking Lamar Jackson in response right there might be, well, a quarterback who's not a first round talent, damn near when the Super Bowl this year? Look what Jalen hurts is done in two years is the full-time starter in Philadelphia. What he's turned himself into. Why can't Desmond Ritter do that? Obviously different games. Different games that they have, but that was basically I appreciated Thomas giving voice to knowing how things work there in Atlanta for a lot of Lana falcons fans out there who might be thinking, what is happening? Why are we not going for Lamar Jackson right now? I think that that is just not going to happen. So Lamar's market keeps dwindling as we are heading towards a draft that is 5 weeks from tonight and I look up on the screen and I see Frank Reich having an animated fun conversation with Bryce young. The date is so much bigger than Bryce here. The day after and it's interesting that you say this because he's looking down, if you will, at Bryce young. He's got a good 5, 6 inches on him. It looks like. And the photograph that we showed an hour number one, you want to pop it up again, Hoskins, I saw you had it from Ohio State athletics. He's looking eye to eye with CJ Stroud. I mean, literally eye to eye standing eye to eye with him. Frank Mike Gavin and John, but yeah. And that's why everybody thinks it's drought because Frank likes big tall quarterbacks. All right, how about this one, rich, according to Aaron Wilson, who covers the Texans for KPR C two down in Houston, says Andre Hopkins trade market is headlined by the Buffalo Bills. Per sources. Financial expectations might impact any further interest from the chiefs, ravens, not among the bidders. Wow, baby. Big hop in Davis. Well, Mike Hoskins, rich eisen show coordinating producer, odd that he'd be up on this sort of thing since wait a minute. He's a die hard western New Yorker. Die hard is not even doing it justice. So Deandre Hopkins posted the song buffalo soldier on his Instagram yesterday. Hey, oh. Maybe he's listening to some Marley? Maybe. Okay. Am I reading this right? Well. This is, this is what should happen. As you know, I've been talking about some other scenarios involving the bills, the one that I thought they should go peg and go get as Derek Henry. He might not be available. Because Tennessee might not be rebuilding. And wanting to start

Lost on Philly plus four and a half really felt like they could have covered or potentially won lost on Miami against Green Bay. We know what happened that game. I still like the pick. I still like the pics this week. We have four big plays. First one, dolphins, in New England. We're not even taking the dolphins plus two now. We're taking the dolphins plus one 26 to win. You heard me talk all week. I don't think this patriots team is good. That's scared by the teddy Bridgewater piece. I think the dolphins have more talent. I think they are hungry to four game losing streak. Are they going to lose 5 games? They're hungry for a win. They need to get into this race, not just be the 7th sea, but potentially even if the ravens lose, they get to the 6th seed. Dolphins, plus 20, 26. We're scaling it back down a little bit this week, just because week 17, the motivations, who knows. In this game, we know what the motivations are. Betting 500,000. Dolphins plus one 26. That's game number one. Game number two, jets at Seattle. I'm on the record. I love this jets team. If they have a decent quarterback, I think this jet seems talented. Seattle has been a disaster the last few weeks. I think they're one in 5 in their last 6, 38 defensive DVA. They can't stop anybody. And I think the jets are going to be able to move the ball on them. I'm not scared about Mike white coming back with whatever his rib thing is. The jets play it for their lives, so Seattle. This is a loser leaves town match, but Seattle's last 5 in a row. They've kind of already left town. Jets minus one and a half were betting 500,000 on that. Vikings plus three in Green Bay. We're grabbing the Vikings, I just don't believe in this Green Bay team. They had a huge losing streak. They beat Chicago, they beat the rams, they look at and that dolphins game, and then everybody's like, Rogers is back. Is he? Is he back? Was that offense lightening up last week? Christian Watson might be banged up. I don't feel like they're defense can get stops. I don't think they're very well coached. I don't like their special teams. The Vikings over and over again close games. They've been lights out. So even if this is a field goal game, maybe it's a push, if it's a field goal game, fourth quarter, tight, I just believe in the Vikings. They've won me over over and over again. They pulled out these games, spent 500,000 Vikings plus three. And last but not least, charger steelers would tease them 6 pointees, taking the Chargers down to minus a half against the ramps and the Steelers up to plus 8 and a half against the ravens. I think they're better than the ravens. Might not even need to tease them, but just to be safe, the ravens, they pulled a bunch of dumb games out of their butt this year. So we're putting 500,000 on a charger steelers tees and then last but not least, a little underdog parlay, a special one for you this week. Bears plus two 20 to beat Detroit. Could they run all over them the same way Carolina did last week? Sure. So we're grabbing them, and then the second piece of the par is the Panthers against the bucks. Get low creative fear. Panthers to win the first half, Panthers to win the game is plus two 20 on FanDuel. So we're going to take that plus two 20. We're going to put it with the bears. Plus 9 24.

"Rams. Have a little bye week in there. They're going to lose to Miami and tua gets a concussion and throws three picks in the fourth quarter. They still need two wins. Everybody is back on the bandwagon. And I continue to think that they are not very good. They've gotten everything they could have possibly needed the last three weeks to follow in their favor. And it has. And they haven't played great football. They barely beat the rams. That was like a that was a game for a while. It's crazy that they are where they're at because they aren't lights out. And Rogers has been eerily confident in these press conferences like, well, we just got one everything we needed to happen and it happened, and it did. For everyone to lose last week, the way that they did, and then then go on Sunday and beat the dolphins the way that they did. It's eerie, dude. I don't know. Does he know something that we don't? I don't know, because everything has happened the way that they need it at the chart out to happen. After being four and 8, no Christian Watson probably. And if he's playing, he's going to be banged up. He's practiced. And he's going to be banged up if he's playing, but he's their speed guy. He's their best. Listen. I don't want to defend Minnesota. You can't have said this to Sal on Sunday. Them and Baltimore, the two. I can't believe this fucking team teams. That just all season where you're like, how did I lose that game? I can't believe it. I can't believe I lost money on them. It was the right pick. I would do it again. Both of those teams. But Minnesota over and over again, especially late in the games. They make plays. They do it at the Giants game giants tie the game 24 24 and it's like, wow, giants have all the momentum they're gonna win in OT. No, we're actually gonna win this one. That's the thing. At what point is it? Hey, there are 11 and O one one score games at what point is it like they're lucky, they get or at what point is it? They're pretty clutch. I think Justin Jefferson's numbers on these final game winning drives. They're insane. He's got like 11 catches for a 168 yards and three touchdowns on game winning drives alone. Like, they're really good when it matters. They're clutch. This has got double importance for the Vikings. One, it eliminates the packers once and for all, and it

"And welcome to the MM QB NFL podcast on Gary bramley. And I'm Connor rohrer. In Connor, we are starting with this packers eagle Sunday Night game. Where I feel like the least interesting development was the final score and the fact that the packers held off or excuse me the eagles out of the packers. And there's just so much more to talk about with the near and long-term future of the Green Bay Packers. Jordan love came in Gary and was spicy. And I think the best throw that he made was incomplete, but he threw an absolute back shoulder rocket to Aaron Jones that went right through his hands. He was almost perfect in this game and obviously very small sample size. But against a pretty good defense borderline, great defense. And you're sitting there thinking, man, what would have happened if Aaron Rodgers was healthy all season? And are these assembled weapons actually kind of good? Is this team actually okay? I don't know, Gary. I'm more confused than when I started the day than no, I'm more confused now at the end of the day than when I was at the start. And that's saying a lot. There you go. Look, the weapons are coming together nicely. Christian Watson and another long touchdown in this one. The grain of salt you take with Jordan love is you say, okay, well, this is a team that, you know, and you will see that didn't prepare for him. It's also an eagle scene that lost Chauncey Gardner Johnson in the middle of this game, read blankenship, who I liked as a prospect, but no one liked enough to actually draft him out of middle Tennessee. And going in there and playing. So you have some shorthanded secondary. You can't throw a whole lot at Jordan love. Now, I would say the other side of this argument that I'm having with myself is when Jordan love got his loan start last year, you're on the road in Kansas City, the chiefs know you're getting the start, they're prepared for you and see spagnolo just, you know, he can throw a million different things at you to confuse a young quarterback. And that was an extremely tall order at that point for that packer scene, but look, he went out there, he felt loose. I mean, like you said, that cover two hole shot to Aaron Jones that should have been caught. That was a really impressive throw. His ball placement was a little bit off, but not drastically off. Like I thought he was, it was fine. The one that he threw, I think it was a little bit behind lazard in the middle of the field. I thought, I thought it was. He was not leading Allen lazard into his impending death by putting it in front of him. Nice safe throwing window. He utilized it. There were also a couple plays where he moved around in the pocket, and if you're not in that sort of clock saving mode, you could take off and he probably could have run for, you know, ten, 12 yards and a couple of these plays here. Yeah, boy, we'll get to some of these scenarios later, but trade him to the Broncos, man. Or something. Let's save them. Let's help them out. Who we got going on down there, but seriously, I don't know how I'm not interested in the packers moving forward this season. Unless we see an extended period of Jordan love, because I think it makes all the sense in the world. Rogers, there's the report today, which is one of my favorite things in NFL media, Gary, which I believe all these guys, but it's always the report that the injury is much worse than you realized. And it's like a time honored tradition now. It comes in the end of November beginning in December, X injury that important player is dealing with is way worse than you can imagine. So he's got the thumb injury now. He's got the rib injury. Just sit you're out. You're out of the playoffs. You're done. Give Jordan love the month of December to make this complicated or to boost his trade value because you're not getting rid of Aaron Rodgers at this point. He basically owns the team. And so I don't know, do something for yourself here, you know? I mean, I would imagine that would come from like Rogers camp, you know, the thumb injury. He actually he's been playing without a thumb for like three weeks. They've just been CGI. On the broadcast here, as they did. I think this kind of gives him an opportunity to kind of be like, you know what? I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna play out the string for a team that again, they're four and 8 now. They're not mathematically eliminated, but this is, you know, and yeah, I mean, they could get to 9 and 8, sure. Like, they're a good team, but I don't know if it really makes sense to try and make this run at this point. Because and we've talked about it a couple of times this year. We expected maybe a bit of not quite as rocky a road as it's been for the packers offense. But, you know, it wasn't going to be what it was with the Monte Adams last year. We thought the defense would be pretty good. The defense is not very good. They have injury issues of their own, but man, Kenny Clark, who is maybe my favorite defensive line in the NFL. He got kind of manhandled tonight. The linebackers without divinity Campbell, they just quay walker is going to be a fine player. He was not up to the task tonight. It was, what are the final numbers here? 7000 rushing yards for the game. No, 360 three, and you always kind of, when you look at the eagles rushing numbers, you have to keep in mind some of these are Jalen hurts scrambles, which kind of inflate things. But a lot of these were not Jalen hurt scrambles. So you were just dudes running through tackles again and again and again. Yeah, they thought that the final, the field goal drive was one of the more commanding when they basically put the game out of reach. That was one of the more commanding drives where it just felt very automatic to me and whether it was Jalen or whether it was Boston Scott or whoever they're going to throw in there. When they have a day where they're groovin and man, they gotta keep Kelsey and all these guys. They have to stay healthy. But if they have, if they have a game where they're grooving, it's over. And I don't know how you stop that. I think offensive line play is so rhythm based because it's really 5 guys moving as one unit and some games you're gonna have great games, some games you're not, but holy smokes. If you could get that kind of push, I mean, that's a Super Bowl caliber team right there. Yeah. And look, another turnover in this game, but just it's just a total fluke turnover. It's AJ Brown trying to make something on a third and long, and ends up losing a fumble. You know, again, they were not gonna go plus two every game from here on out, but that turnover luck has turned against them, and it really hasn't really has an affected them. All that much. Yeah. Yeah, that's great. I'm excited. Gary, we got some packers drama. We have the eagles flying. And we got a really great show. That's what we do. We had exciting games, we had some really defensive, the prideful day for defense across the NFL, I would say. And also just some very sad and quarterbacking that we can kind of point and laugh at. "Packers, Sunday Night, cousins town and we're going head to head and fantasy was a loser of these town fantasy match. Christian Watson on my team, 75 yarder. And a touchdown in the last like 7 minutes, semi garbage time. I knocked you out. You're done. I hope I win the title. I can vote you out. I can't wait. You were taunting me. I remember every mean thing you said just for the record. Well, Lawson, I'm gonna turn it around and be very gracious and just say this. Your team sucks and you suck as a fantasy owner. You paid $15 for the jets defense. You're bragging about it this morning before the game even started before anyone could find what channel that game was on, the bears already had ten points. It's $5 for Christian Watson. Anyone confused Bill Simmons with someone who knows what they're doing in fantasy because he hasn't won a title since I've known him and it will remain that way. First of all, you're forgetting about my legendary 2007 title, which I almost went undefeated. I didn't know you. 15 years ago. 2007. You made fun of me for paying $15 for the jets defense, but yeah, it was terrible. It's atrocious. It's like $10 more than anyone would ever pay for a defense. Yeah, but I still have like $11 left. At some point, you just lose the money if you don't spend. We have one more week in this season. If you buy a single white castle restaurant for $300 million and it ends up turning a profit, you can't be like, oh, look what I did. Come on. What was that analogy? I'm mad about the Christian Watson thing. I'm angry. I'm upset. Well, we went in. Because CBS, it's stupid CBS site has the percentages. And I'm like, it's 68%, 91%, 92%. I'm like, oh, I am as a missed tackle away from losing this. Nobody cares about this fantasy stuff. But we do care about the stupid percentages that they're always wrong on the guru. The guru and CBS never seems to have any idea of what actually might happen. He or she needs to retire ready. Well, Green Bay Philly was interesting because for a couple of reasons, one is the eagles rush for what the most yards since 1948. That seems relevant. Yep. It's like 300. 65 yards or something. What was the first one? 360 four and three O one was from hertz and Sanders alone. Oh my gosh. I mean, I had a 125 rushing and passing at half, which I don't remember seeing in a quarterback. So that was their resume for when it gets colder. When you're going to not be able to just run around and have these pass and run type games and you actually have to just play smash mouth, we can do that. I was stunned by how bad the packers were though. With like consort this pointed out, like the way they were rushing hurts, we have the blueprint from last week, where just kind of keep people in front of them, make sure he doesn't scramble. And just kind of wait him out. And instead, they're like flying at him. And he's like, cool. He just kept running by them. I was embarrassed for the packers. It wasn't the worst coaching performance of the week, but it was right up there. Yeah, for sure. And, you know, Rogers was hurt. I'm gonna give him a pass there because he looked and I guess it's an oblique issue, but like it was getting to a point where every time he dropped back or after every play, he was like looking down, it looked like me the last 7 minutes of every Southwest Airlines flight, like trying not to vomit. He's just like staring at the ground staring and finally he took himself out of the game and collinsworth and tarika like before like he throws a good pass like that Sierra rush as we low and love and then it's like, this Jordan love could throw the ball. We saw him in training camp. You don't have to pick a side, but we have to get crazy, but for everything. College worth was deranged tonight. 'cause he had the Rogers thing. He was treating like it was rocky fighting Apollo in the 15th round. Oh man, Rogers. Oh my God, my key can barely. It's got like a straight up week. He was acting like he's like vertebra had been knocked out of his body. And then Jordan love came in and threw three nice passes. And this is the Jordan love. And then he missed a wide open guy at the end zone. And it's going to sound like we don't like him. I love collinsworth. I love you too. His insight with the whole thing. But yes, that rushing to wide and that it allows her to step up. It's like, oh, now you're going to look at the game differently. The rest of the game, but he really does sound like he's been woken up at 5 30 in the morning by the children on Christmas. I was like, it's going to obviously sleep another day. 5 minutes. Those gifts are going to be wrapped, and when we wake up at 7, I'll leave you alone. I agree with the wife for a minute. Well, we love. We do love them. We do love them, but I gotta say it was a big misfire by those guys. They were making it seem like, could this be it for Rogers and Green Bay? Is it Jordan love time? Rogers just signed this massive contract that kind of no way out of. And I don't know how he's not the starter for at least next season, but I just didn't understand that. They were making it seem like this was like the last dance fair and Rogers. It's like, guess what? He's going to be the quarterback next year. He's there. Yes, as long as he wants to be. And that's kind of how it always has been. So, you know, we might see Jordan love against who was it? Nathan Peterman next week on the bears. You might get used to that, but it's only because it's oblique issue, which is obviously, you know, putting them in pain. Well, if you're Rogers, next week they play the bears, you're like 90 two and one lifetime against the bears. Do you even risk it? You own the bears. No, you have a super bowl, and you own the bears. Those are two things you have. Yeah, and you repeatedly remind them that you own them. And so we're going to go after you a little extra hard. So yeah, maybe sit this one out. I mean, they haven't lost us now. They're not going to make the playoffs. So you could be picky about where you're going to start the rest of the way. I think they're across off team, right? We can officially send them packing. They have some tough games ahead. Maybe the bears aren't one of them, but they would have to run the table to go 9 and 8. And I don't even know if that does it, because we're going to talk about some other teams that just don't lose, like the Washington commanders. So they're foreign at Chicago by rams. So they could win those two. That would be. Yeah, but then a Miami. Home Minnesota, home Detroit. The problem for them, I don't see any scenario where ten and 7 is in the cutoff now in the NFC because we'll Washington still. Washington's up to 7 and 5. If the season ends today, they'd be the 7th playoff team. So don't you think tan wins takes it now? I do. I think going into the year, what do we think? Oh, 9 and 8 for the NFC 11 and 6 for the AFC, but now it might be might be different. Like the Chargers might get in at 9 and 8. And like you said, Washington could be the 7 C to ten and 7. Yeah, I think that's a good, that's a good breakdown. I think we said it was going to be 9 and 8 in the NFC and that the NFC south team was going to go 6 and 11. I think we're at two predictions. But that's actually what's going to happen. The NFC south, you're so inspired. You're so mad at them today.

"Look, the packers end up pulling this one out in overtime. This is what was kind of cool. Especially if you're a packers fan and your team is one, you've just been kind of waiting for like a month now for this team to get some kind of break. Some kind of one, get a couple bounces, and two, just some sort of breakthrough performance. You got that from Christian Watson. You got that from a couple of turnovers on sort of miscommunications among dak Prescott and intended receivers. And you end up eating a really good team. Yeah. I thought when that ball was in the air, the first deep ball to Christian Christian Watson. I thought this is the season right here. Really? And you know, if they come down with this thing, if he scores, I think this team finally gets some juice and here we go. And that ended up being the case to the point where when he scored his third touchdown, there were like three guys open on that play and there were two people on Christian Watson. So, you know, if this is where we're at now, where you're starting to draw some double teams, Al lazard can kind of go back to doing Alma's art stuff. You're cooking with gasoline here, I think. Yep. And Watson almost had another long one. You know, the throws are there for Aaron Rodgers. Lazard, the long RPO catch and run in overtime. That's what Allen was our does. Just encouraging stuff. It's still going to be a struggle. There's still, I think it's a year away from any sort of like true breakthrough, but you just got some answers in this game. And like I said, you just got a couple of breaks along the way. Last week in Detroit, that's a game they're probably in most scenarios leading 17 nothing. Instead of having it scoreless midway through the second quarter, you just get a couple of weird turnovers and that's the way it goes. But encouraging stuff and stylistically a ton of ton of stuff on the ground, that's what they're going to be. They're not going to be airing it out. It's not going to be Aaron thrown for 400 yards. It's going to be sort of a patchwork passing game and hopefully a foundational run game here. Yeah, Aaron Jones, I thought, a little bit of a bounce back performance. And I think the packers are going to kind of, whatever's going on with AJ Dylan, I think, and that I think is a big part of the story. I think that they're just, it's got to be a hot hand approach at this point. It's like, whoever's going to come in there and just start smashing people is who's going to get the ball and we really don't care anymore. I think they probably like the idea of AJ Dylan a lot more and what he represented.

"I think the one thing that maybe you feel kind of good about if you're the packers is, you know, they played a lot of bigger personnel in this game. They obviously found something in the run game. To, you know, maybe that regulates your offense soon extent and you can kind of just have more of a, I don't know, just a steady movement of the ball as opposed to the complete lack of movement of the ball that you've had for the past couple of weeks. You know it was interesting. I noticed it with Rogers. It was super obvious, obviously, with Tom Brady on Thursday, which is that that whole and maybe it's maybe this is just life into high shell at this point, but it's like the quick game has become even more so where it's just like, you know, where are they going to run it or as soon as I snap it, I'm just going to look to my left and just fire it at the slot receiver and see what he can do with it. And we saw Rogers kind of go to that. We saw a Brady go to it an awful lot. We saw a couple kind of flailing quarterbacks this week really try to work the quick game like that. And you know, nothing's perfect right now. I think it's very cool that we're in a defensive counter revolution right now, which is what we're seeing. But it certainly causing some headaches, and that's what we saw at Green Bay today. Well, and we did, we saw some more offense this week. And we'll obviously get into that as we cover the rest of the Sunday games, but. You keep on watching the packers, and we've talked about this and it's kind of like, I don't know if there's a solution in 2022. I think maybe beyond 2022, but we had talked a little bit on our trade deadline discussion on the mid week show last week, do you just sort of get that big play guy and now you just have someone who every once in a while, you can just chuck it 40 yards and I'll do something with it. That might be Christian Watson if they don't make a move, but Christian Watson gets hurt on his first touch in this game and there's just really no margin for error as far as his passing game goes because there's just, boy, there's just a lack of comfort with any of these targets here. Does it make sense at any point at what? I would guess 5 38. They had the packers at like a 25% shot to make the playoffs. You lose this game, you're probably down to like 15, 17% chance to make the playoffs. Does it make sense to spend draft equity at this point? I still think it does. I'm a fan of unless you're Dave gettleman doing it with Leonard Williams. I'm a fan of buying early at the trade deadline and kind of cutting the line on everything and you get half a season with the guy and then he's ready to roll for the next year. And sometimes you get you end up getting guys like that a little bit cheaper just because of how it all works out. But I still think they spend, I think they should spend draft capital. I think teams will be interested enough in some of their picks and think they might be kind of high, that they might be a little bit more valuable. I still go out and get someone. I think if the deadline, because what are you going to lose? No, I agree with you in a 100%.

But back to the ravens for one second, I was personally blown away and I did a story on this guy before the draft. I mean, I did a big Rashad Bateman feature two years ago when he was coming out. He COVID opt out guy really great backstory. I had no idea he was this good after the catch. No clue. I honestly thought and I think I remember you and I talking in some of the pre draft pods a little bit about how he reminded us of a more of a possession wide receiver, like a guy who's not who's gonna win because of toughness. He's gonna win at the catch point, almost like an ankon bold knee kind of guy. And he was torching people today. He really looked good. Bears packers. This was expected. And I don't know, there's not a ton to say about this. This was the packers team that we thought we see coming into the year. Aaron Rodgers said after the game, it was kind of like last year, we got blown out in the first game. We got right in a division game in the second game, and hopefully they go from there. But yeah, this was this was it. This is what it's supposed to be. Yeah, and so I'll start with my giant version of my giants cowboys hot take from last year, which is that we should just stop treating packers and bears as like this warm, old timey rivalry game that conjures up all these feelings. Like these teams aren't on the same planet and haven't been for a really long time. And I think that there was a point in the, you know, especially over the last few years, where we could have said that about giants cowboys too. It's just the old stuff that we used to love, just doesn't exist anymore. And that's totally fine. Because you're right. I mean, this is a packers team that is so good that after they got their butts whipped by the Vikings last week, we were all just saying, oh my God, they're gonna destroy the bears. Yep. And that was pretty much it. As some credit to the bears, they hung around if they had gotten another, I don't know, centimeter on a late sneak attempt by Justin Fields and gotten in instead of being turned on downs. Maybe it's a closer final score. I still don't think the bears possibly win this, but yeah, there's just such a disparity in talent. And anyone who watched the telecast, you saw collinsworth kind of running through. All the basic mechanical stuff they're doing with Justin Fields, trying to get them ready. He is still creating some stuff, but still very much in the developmental phase where they are trying to drill some stuff in with him. And they're just doing it on the fly with a team around him that is not very good. Yeah, and I think that's partially the sins of the previous regime, right? I mean, they're kind of buried from a salary cap perspective. Partially and unwillingness on their part to extend the line of credit and get them some help. And partially the fact that it really doesn't matter for Matt ebert's right and Ryan polls because if this doesn't work this year, they're not beholden to Justin Fields. They didn't draft him, doesn't really matter to them. They can get score some points for doing the best that they can with him. But ultimately, it doesn't necessarily matter. But I do want to bring up Gary a couple of just small things with the packers that we noticed, right? I mean, Christian Watson does the jet sweep motion pre snap ball bounces off his hands. You could tell he was trying to do a fake handoff. The timing is clearly off there. Aaron Rodgers didn't trust him after a mistake in week one. You do have some fumbling issues from some of your stalwart players. Any of this at all concerning to you or do you how does the spreadsheet end up sorting all this? I think the spreadsheet likes him here. Look, you had the Watson sake you had a botched handoff between Aaron Rodgers and AJ Dylan, which I mean, those are two guys who have played together for a couple of seasons now. You shouldn't expect that to happen. To me, it just continues to fall into that category of things that will be ironed out pretty easily. I'm sure they will fumble the ball at some point again this season, but it's just not anything to jump on and say, this is, this is all, this is all going horribly. They created some touches for Christian Watson here. They got a big throw deep to Sammy Watkins at the end of the game. It was just, it was positive. They're still working through it with these receivers, but a step forward here and I mentioned with two a ton of iloa, sometimes when you have those monster numbers from your quarterback, it's not necessarily a good thing. You know, Rogers ends up 19 for 25, two 34, not eye popping numbers, but you get two O three on the ground, a pretty traditional two O three for the packers. Especially for these teams that sort of rely on the play action. Just having that run game going and getting this all blocked up right and staying ahead of the change, all that stuff. I mean, that's what you're looking for. Looks into you and your hot takes the packers are gonna fumble again this year how irresponsible. They are. On this podcast of all. When they do, the victory lap, I am going to take when they but they don't fumble to week 14. I'll be sweating bullets like every game. That would be that would honestly be awesome. If we did like a fumble watch on the pod, what a thing. People would respond to that. I just desperately be tweeting out like Allen lazard, like please just lose a fumble. Just fumble, Alan.

"I don't think the gap is going to be in the fourth. Fair enough. You also wonder how much ultimately who are they targeting because at this point, your guess is as good as anybody's, right? Who the heck knows? So get me John matchy and Troy Anderson. If they do that today. I think they might be able to stay at 54 and get matchy. It's a weird draft, so I'm not a 100% sold on anything. So here's why I think that. Yeah, because Jameson Williams fell. Clearly, teams are a little more concerned about the ACL than maybe we thought. Now, met she's ahead of the process. Yeah. I'm just going to give you according to reports. So right. And I don't know who's saying I said they wouldn't take matching on Bertrand. I said that he would be the checks every box, assuming his knee is fine. I think there is a chance that she falls just based off Jameson Williams falling in them being in similar situations. Then again, Johan Dawson went, where did John Dawson went high? 16. So the receivers are kind of pushing up. I was actually thinking maybe leading in the treylon Burks would fall out of the first round that obviously didn't happen. It's going to be a flavor thing. Do teams want the team sitting on the board if they want to slot, it's sky more than probably matchy. If you have a bunch of teams to run outside receivers, mention probably is a little more time because you have a Christian Watson. You have George pickens. Alex. I don't even know where David bell is projected anymore. Former projected Tommy. 15 pick David bell. Is he down to day three? Yeah. I'll give you credit. You were on that one. You watched him, you texted me. You were like, what? Yeah. Never saw any sort of place for you with David bell. Like I never thought he was fast and how many random people have pencil limited 54, Evan. Oh my goodness. Don't do that to me, all right? So if they're going to move up in the third round or second round, excuse me tonight, and target a player, it does feel like it's gotta be on defense, right? I just want the wide receiver as much as anybody else does. But at this point, I really do think that they would dig defense with that pick. If they're going to stick with the senior bowl small school guys, like Troy Anderson's right there, right? Cole strange, like it's a similar Troy Anderson or even Zion McCollum, who's also an FCS guy..

"So I guess if you're going offense, maybe you're looking at the quarterbacks, if you're going defense uh, it's because they're not really married to any of these guys. It's still a lot of old regime holdovers, but yeah, I don't know, I could see them going linebacker at the spot. There are a couple of good linebackers on our board at this point. Here's what I would say, philosophically. It was interesting. And kind of digging around last off season or this past year on the coaching search stuff. Dan Campbell's name came up once or twice and as like a knot now, but probably soon kind of thing. And I just don't think, especially if you brought in like a rams, executive, to spearhead this turnaround. This ain't gonna be like a 6 year thing. I think if the lions don't win now, you know, I think it's gonna be hard for Dan Campbell to stay. So I think they're doing stuff like this needs to happen now. We need to win like 7 games this year. That would be my philosophy. So if I'm Dan Campbell, I'm pounding the door for like a playmaker, like a guy that's gonna help me score points, a guy that's gonna help me win games. So I don't know. I like to receiver for them, but you know, quarterback is interesting, right? I mean, 'cause you're gonna have a hard time recruiting, right? Yeah. You're gonna have to have a hard time recruiting a veteran guy. You know, I don't think Jimmy Garoppolo is coming there. If he has a full no trade exactly, something like that. Maybe somewhere along the line here, they end up nabbing Baker Mayfield somehow. But I don't know. And just because Christian Watson's on the board and he looks so cool, you know? He looked really cool in that offense. Went to think it's like if you need immediate playmaker, the top receivers left on our board are likely Christian Watson and sky Moore, both non power 5 guys, not that that's the end all be all, but do you want to sort of put your chips in that, I don't know what this metaphor is. On their table, is that how poker works everyone has their own table and like a little tray table and you just, I don't know. Anyways, it's Christian Watson out of North Dakota state and then sky more out of his central. No, he's western Michigan. Western Michigan. I have watched quite a bit of him. He blew people away with sort of initial quickness. I am nervous about his transition to the NFL. I think is how I sum that up. What about like, I don't know. Do you think that we could just do this for our sake because it's our mock draft and screw everybody else and we're right in there wrong. What about your boy Khalil shakir here? Oh man. Let's just, let's just take the board and like just like blow it into a million pieces, you know? In my personal mock draft. I mean, he was gone at like four. But the Gary gramling guys, the triple G mock drive. We can just do it. I mean, look, if you are a if you are a Lions fan, just know that this is, you know, sort of fill in your favorite wide receiver. So I will do that..

Christian Watson Explains How American Express Has Gone Woke

"American Express card holder for about 25 years. In fact, my friend Dave Ramsey gives me all kinds of grief because I've got one of those black cards, those centurion card and Dave says that's the biggest waste of money. I spend a lot of money to have it. I get some perks with it. You know, you get upgrades and all kinds of nifty little stuff. American Express has been sort of the gold standard for business executives and for people in the workforce and just I taught my kids when they became adults, get an American Express card. You got to pay it off every month. You get a good helps your credit score. It helps your credit standing. American Express has gone woke. First of all, tell us what American Express did that got the attention of a terrific organization like color us united. They done many things, unfortunately, and it's really unfortunate that corporate America as a whole is going down this path. So American Express had their employees go ahead and sit in to a seminar given by Khalid Muhammad, the great grandson of the founder of the Nation of Islam. Elijah Muhammad, in which he instructed them to believe that capitalism is evil and racist. And that they have a goal. They have a duty rather to go ahead and get rid of its evils and racism, which is a little bit odd that a company founded on capitalism is bad enough in it. They released a document called building allyship in which their employees were pitted against each other on the basis of their identity and their individual characteristics. And some employees who were not considered to be privileged were given precedence over employees who are considered to be privileged. There's one part in that building allyship document that actually says that it gives an example of an Asian woman not feeling represented in a Zoom call and basically says that an Asian woman or a black woman or whatever woman on the basis of their skin colors wants to speak. You should just be quiet and don't speak up or against them or don't say anything about what they have to say. So this is a kind of inversion of what America is all about.

"Types of comparisons because I feel like we shouldn't just compare every slot receiver to Julian Edelman or Wes Welker, but I really watch sky more run routes and the way that he threatens guys in the first couple of steps off the line of scrimmage, not just the fact that he's got good speed and good burst down the field. But the way that he really gets after it in the release and in the leverage on the stem, that reminds me so much of Edelman because Edelman was so hard to cover because he could open up early in the route, right? You just couldn't stick with him early on in the route and then you were playing catch up from behind the whole time. I think Skye Moore has a similar way about him and I also think he kind of has that Edelman knack in the open field where you can kind of bob and weave and set up blocks and be able to create after the catch as well. Maybe not the best game breaker with the football in his hands or vertical route runner, but he definitely did that a little bit in college. So I'm wondering how fast is he? I've heard some rumors from just people around the league that sky more is going to run a four three really put up a huge time. And if he does that, he might be a top 50 pick, right? He might be somebody that goes at the end of the top 50 if he's able to put up something that good. So Skye Moore is somebody I'm really interested in watching as well. Christian Watson in that category too. Christian Watson's gonna run. He might run in the four twos. That's what I'm saying. Like, let's say he comes out and runs like a four two 5 four two 6. He's I think he's 80 right now on the consensus board, think he can sneak. He could see he's 6 5. If he's 6 5 and runs four two something, does he sneak into the top 50? I think it's possible he's one of the most fun watches I've studied in this entire class at wide receiver because not only can he get up the field and create vertical separation, but then he'll put him in the backfield and they'll hand him the ball on jet sweeps.
