Then he he literally tweets I am pleased to inform you that the United States of America has reached a signed agreement with Mexico, the tariffs scheduled to be implemented by the US by you buy on Monday against Mexico are hereby indefinitely suspended fucking Bill Maher was like here by, like he thinks he's a kick by hitherto on. Right. And it was like loving that Bill Maher Mexico in turn has agreed to take strong measures to stem, the tide of migration through Mexico and to our southern border. This is being done to greatly reduce or eliminate illegal immigration coming from Mexico and into the United States. Details of the agreement will be released shortly by the State Department. Thank you. Exclamation point. God now. According to the New York Times the border concessions that Mexico made in order to avoid the tariffs were actually not because of Trump's lame threat. Apparently, Mexico already agreed to up their border security, and pledged to help the US back in March at secret talks in Miami. With Trump's former secretary of homeland security, Christian. Nielsen, I never knows it. Kirsten curse-rich. We don't give a fuck. There's a j in her name. It's like get on back on it all back to Sweden. Bishou seduced. Sukuzi and she had to go. I love Sweden. "And let them know that we sent you. All right. So how should President Trump deal with all of this President Trump should say, look, we're all on the same page here. We need changes to the law. Democrats are not providing changes to the law. None of us want people at the border to suffer. We also don't want open immigration, give me the resources I need. If you do not give me the resources that. I need. I have no choice, but to implement certain policies, such as we are going to be we are going to be. Using the resources that are necessary to us to hold families together. And if the court, and if the court tries to intervene, that's just the way that it's going to be judicial supremacy is not a thing. The court does not get to decide how the executive branch acts this way, we are not going to start catching and releasing just because the ninth circuit court of appeals is unwilling to do this. If you say, we have two separate families, then I guess that the ninth circuit court of appeals can own that, I guess that we can separate families. If one will bad by the ninth circuit court of appeals decision, but we are not going to catch and release. We're just not going to and don't blame that on me blame that on the court blend. Democrats won't solve this problem who won't change the law. I'm not going to release millions of people into the interior of the country. I'm not gonna release tens of thousands of people into the interior of the country without knowing where they are. This is not a policy I'm going to pursue. And we are going to ensure I'm going to go down, and I'm going visit with the kids of the parents. I want to make sure that they are taking care of. I'm gonna go down there. And I'm going to stand on the border every day and make this into an issue. I'm gonna campaign. Fact that there is a crisis that the southern border, and they will give us funding. But instead because President Trump doesn't he's not willing to weather some bad headlines and then use those bad headlines as evidence that the Democrats don't know what they're doing and are actively obstructing policies that help the United States. Instead, we end up with his incarnation warfare inside the administration, which again, I don't know what he thinks crisco batch is going to do if you were suddenly the head of the I don't know what he thinks even Miller do the Christian Nielsen couldn't I guess now they're discussing the possibility of renewed child separation policies, according to NBC news, Trump has for months urged his administration to reinstate large-scale separation of migrant families crossing the border Trump's outgoing homeland security secretary Christian Nielsen resisted in the reason, she resisted presumably is because last time this happened from turned on his own people and said, why are we doing all of this? According to two of the sources Nilsson told Trump that federal court orders prohibited. The department of secure of homeland security from reinstating the policy and that he'd be reversing his own executive order from June that ended family separations..

"But you really ought to hear me, talk privately. But also the fact that this now today with Christian Nielsen being resigning as as the secretary and someone who actually has expertise at the border being the acting person things change. And when when you talk about homeland security and the the security and the health of American citizens and the safety of American citizens, you need someone who was acutely aware because of his experience or her experience, a what is going on at the border in this guy seems to be just routinely unanimously qualified to do that. So maybe that's a step in the right direction. But again, the president doing what he's doing and talking about closing down the border, which would be awful for both the Connie's. That's representatives the Senate both Republicans Democrats like an eventual hopefully, the American people will see that. And before twenty twenty we have some real movement a real action on illegal immigration this country. Finally. Yeah. I'm up to mystic about that. Because we've never had anybody who actually believe that the borders ought to be secure. I mean, look at it even after nine eleven. We had a porous border, and what bothers me most are the gullible people who think that these folks that we're talking about are are merely incompetent or week. You know, when they want to pass something they passed something, right? When when Republicans wanted to pass the tax cut, or look how long it took them to pass the Alaskan pipeline, you know, the pipe Brian thing. I mean, when they want something, and when when it's is something that they know, you know, they want they get her done, you know, and and this law. Oh, we just can't do it. The same thing not to change the subject, but it's also related is is this notion that we couldn't repeal and replace ObamaCare. First of all I was never four replacing ObamaCare. I wanted to repeal ObamaCare. Period. We weren't you know, and you're giving in my point though, is that if Republicans really wanted to repeal ObamaCare, they would've gotten a done when they had the majority in all three that all three branches that would be a OC thing. Yeah. I knew sound a little extreme. But they have become unconscionable. I really think and I really mean this all my heart. Donald Trump is a gift from God. And I'm not even that religious. I put the Judeo and Judeo Christian. So I'm not a Christian Jewish. But I'm telling you what gift he was because his presence. Exposes the phony and the fraud that we've been watching and the corruption his very presence has caused his opponent to lose their mind. And when they lose their minds, it becomes apparent more and more people what they're up to. So as also as things may seem right now like any wound that's infected he has to clean out the wounds before you can heal. Now, I'm not saying that Trump can do everything with our help. "Us all morning in for Mary. Walter, Ken, good morning. Good to be with you. I DC yesterday the president hosting congressional leaders at the White House and trying to secure some kind of conclusion to the partial cessation of government services that affect just twenty five percent of the government. I think that's the correct phrase everyone along the acronym government shutdown is such a blunt instrument rhetorically, but it doesn't actually in any way represent what's going on. No, this is not government shutdown. It's a twenty five percents cessation of government services that are considered non essential and a temporary delay house. -fensive is that to those folks at temporary that's ever. Yeah. I should about. Because so many of them are in this listening area. We should just apologize to them as as their bosses the taxpayers for people calling them nonessential. We should come up with something else. How many I mean whenever you did unfunded? When you hear this conversation about a government shutdown essential? Workers versus non essential workers. And I get in this area. You know, it's it's a classification that people understand it, and they get what this is all about but outside of DC beyond beyond the beltway. If you're just sort of in the middle of the country, literally anywhere else, and you hear that there's a division between essential and non essential government workers. Doesn't that make you a little crazy doesn't it? Isn't that kind of thing? You're like, wait. Wait a that. I actually think it's it's below that level outside of the Washington DC area. They do not care their friends and neighbors aren't driving or not driving into work today because of the shutdown nothing in their life changes because shutdown except the pace. Headlined a paste of that they look at every two weeks or the first and the fifteenth whenever you get it, right? That at has federal taxes taken out of it, and it's paying for government services. And when you hear that among those government services are a whole class of people considered non essential. It must be the kind of thing that drives you little bit not slow in the left brain people. Like me also think well if you can live without him this period sorry to all these folks listening, right? Then then this looks like a good place to cut the budget. Why don't we just get the government back to essential services? And maybe we could balance the budget. Yeah. And maybe that would be a neat idea. Maybe there's a whole class of people who are considered non essential who really should be considered. Essential. We reconsider that. And we pare down government to exactly what we need. But you know, we've been trying it's not been. It just keeps getting Bill. The leadership hasn't been trying. I know, but it's. It's a conservative think tanks. Do you need? I mean, it's never the governor's never gotten smaller as anybody ever won the victory. You know, like is anybody ever actually made government shrink? Now, it just keeps getting bigger bigger bigger. Attempts to stem, the tide anyway, the president meeting with Democrats Republican leadership in congress yesterday bringing them into the situation room. And there's a reason for that. They were giving them a national security briefing the person doing the briefing was secretary Christian Nielsen, so which she was setting about to do was to brief them on the seriousness of what's going on on the border. Specifically the southwestern border as we look at the caravan. We look at the documented medical ailments that the only coming from the caravan. We look at the rock throwing incidents that were the predicate. This is so important, the rock-throwing instance that were the predicate for border patrol, deploying tear gas tear gas is for it's for it was I yes, exactly. It's to suppress an oncoming marauding crowd. That was specifically looking to injure the border patrol agents in order to get. Them to stop doing their jobs, and he's border patrol agents stopped this using tear gas, and that's the reason and lost in the coverage of all this every time we hear about it. Is you see simple things like a news outlet reporting, the border patrol deployed tear gas after migrants attempted to cross the border. No, that's not. That's not what happened at all migrants crossing the border. Yes. But they were throwing rocks at these border patrol agents. That's why the tear gas was deployed, right? That's why. And for you not to include that detail and not to make it prominent in your coverage is a real disservice. And it's genuinely dishonest and it's done in the Senate intentional. It's done in the service of this liberal propaganda by the border. It's insane. I don't even understand why this should be a partisan on the Democrats cutoff Christian Nielsen from her briefing because they don't even consider this national security issue, and they don't consider it national security because. They have simply adopted their basis position despite knowing they know Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, no their national security issues going on at the border. Whether it's the importation of drugs, whether it is the the easy crossing of terrorists and gang members. I mean, we just saw police officer killed in California. That's where local sheriff was bemoaning his own states sanctuary state, California's sanctuary state policies that didn't allow them to identify this guy who had to DUI convictions had outstanding warrants for rest and killed a police officer and that police officer, by the way had was not born in this country. He was he was born elsewhere dreamed of becoming right? That's right in Fiji in America. And legally immigrated here volunteered as a police officer until he was eventually hired trained and so forth. That's who was killed illegal immigrant who followed our rules who came to this country adopted America's zone, not someone who broke the law of to come across and spit on a Saul and kill one of our law enforcement officers one of our own, and if we're going to be in the business of defending immigrants, that's the immigrant. We wanted to we wanted to fill the one who who did it the right way. And who came and not only did he come here, but he served his community, and he gave his life for that. 'cause and Nancy Pelosi who is a congresswoman from California speak out about that. No, no. And alongside every other congress person every other lawmaker national lawmaker from California who's refused to even address it while simultaneously condemning the border patrol for the deaths of a seven year old and an eight. Eight year old who had come who had died courtesy of the treacherous journey that. They were brought on by the adult who brought them to the patrol did everything that anyone can reasonably expect in. Both those cases these lawmakers speak out on that. But not on what's going on in their own state. Right. And the only people who did I believe we're Kevin McCarthy and Eric swallow, well and Eric swallow a democratic congressman he re tweeted someone else discussing it. But at least that's lip service, at least he paid some lip service. So you just you mentioned it I just want to reiterate it yesterday Christian. Nielsen the D H S treasuries looking to give this briefing. And everything got thrown off course Christian. Yeltsin couldn't give the brief because Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer interrupted her immediately. Her job was to provide information first. And then I'm sure they were going to have some conversation about reopening the government as a result of that. It never got there. I'll give you more details on a second six fifteen down.

"Of those people are criminals. Okay. And have been so adjudged. We know who they are. A judge to some very substantial very bad criminal records on the caravan. So real quick because there's no word is the Secondly, we see them. They're toddlers in diapers without shoes. Correct. And Democrats do not believe in open border. Thank you. I hate how they they try to define us. Right. I believe in border control with humanity. Right. We can have borders without separating children from their families and kids in prison camps. Right, right. We can have orders without firing tear-gas women and children. Right. Thank you. So so they pushed their their agenda so far to the right, right? I mean, this is a fascist agenda. This is when when people start saying, you know, this isn't about Democrats Republicans. This is about good and evil battle sole of America. And it is just didn't used to be partisan discussions, and by the way seeking asylum. They're fleeing violence drugs in their country. It is not illegal to see. Seek asylum Elijah Cummings yesterday it should be allowed to come in seek asylum law, and would you support changing the law? No, I think that we have a system that has worked for a long time. This president's come in wants to change it. That's that's up to them. But now, the congress has got to stand up, and hopefully they will apparently that's why he's firing. What's her name Christian Nielsen? She's. She's. Issue Nazi enough. But there's reports that he gets furious when people like her anybody try to tell them that something's against the law. Really doesn't your comings? DHS Sec Neilsen backs Trump shutdown threats over border wall

If I may well that that's possibly true dishonoring white women. And the. Of the that's a reference to call them in yesterday. So this interview is going to be a fascinating today. There was just a couple of just general statistics that I just was unaware of. And this dynamic that the argument that this book makes in terms of what Barack Obama and Donald Trump did too. The to the. To what identity was activated by people in terms of race is fascinating. I'll explain that more when we get into the show, but as we speak the votes are being counted recounted in Florida very close in the Senate race a little bit less so in the governor's race. But obviously close enough for a recount it's unclear to me how it's going to work in terms of the recount with the Senate at this point. I can't quite tell if it's going to be a a machine recount, and if the machine recount brings it down to a certain level, then it becomes a hand recount conceivably that could happen in the governor's race to seems unlikely. But there is a certain amount of under votes for the Senate race in Broward County. And I've seen. Two forms of speculation one is that it was a flaw in the ballot design so people missed voting for the Senate. The second was that. There was a flaw in the ballot design and the machine missed recording. That people had voted for. So we'll see I mean, I it it feels at the at the very least it feels that the Democrats are slightly more prepared for this. It's absurd. That there could ever be any voting problems in Florida. Again after two thousand. Right. I mean, this would be like we're going to build another badly Levy in New Orleans. That's up next. Can I feel you wish? So people went back, and there was a documentary. Called unprecedented. Not to be confused with cliff checkers podcasts. And it was the two thousand presidential election documentary that. I looked at the voting irregularities in West Palm Beach, Palm, Beach and. Somebody went back watched. It saw a recognizable individual who was interviewed at the time. At that time. He was involved in student government. This is. Wow. This is only fifteen years ago. I guess. Election day came there were unexpected obstacles. Precincts close that. We begin to give reports here in student governors association from just different students about either not having voter registration card going to the precinct. They voted it before. And now being told that they want on the roster that their names having heard many more irregularities were confirmed when the NAACP hell hearings a few days. Yeah. I'll say, but there it is Andrew gillum at the time involved in student government. That's crazy. Not a single word about single payer..

I know one of the people who makes a lot of those locked up. They're laughing their ass off like to be a criminal now pays because you need an agent, a crime pays. And then as soon as you get locked up just a little documentary, right? Yeah. So that's like your agent goes Eric, have you tried going the jailhouse reality. So if you had shit sneakers out of respected you. Oh, very nice weather. Thank you so much. Basically, he's just hopped up on Fox News and John Kelly is like shut the fuck up. Yeah, I think John Kelly was also hot because he worked with Pearson Nilsson when he was at DHS. Right? I mean, this is the thing that I've tried to have this conversation with people on the right who are totally supportive of this, and they're like, well, you shouldn't. I actually know someone who works in the government who is fully supportive of this, and and they said to me will laws laws and you shouldn't come in and and don't come in the first place illegally. And my thing is like when you talk to these people and I went to an event a couple of days ago where we actually met someone who had come across the border and spend ten months, a kid who it's been ten months in one of those immigration facilities in the story was just harrowing seeing his sister killed and hacked to death in El Salvador and spending two years walking and working to get here. And you think yourself. There's no choice that this person has doesn't. I mean, you've interviewed Christian Nielsen, you've spoken to people in the why don't they understand that?
