"On tv and radio and print and she is an expert in mind and body wellness and so she's going to talk to us here today about how yoga can help our minds and bodies and spirit and all those things are integrated and and how we can do that as christians. So thank you so much for joining us. Her had elizabeth. I'm very grateful to be here. And i can't wait to share with. The lord has placed a heart such a topic which is rich in meditation yoga. Everyday yes i. I've kind of studied things. I feel like you know. It tends to be more eastern religions that kind of tied together mind body and spirit and it seems to me in the western christian world. We kind of separate the body from everything else and they enter. Act at all. But i believe at as you do you know. They're they're interconnected. So can you tell us a little bit more about how those things are all connected together and how they influence each other absolutely you know. I think that Because i lived on both sides of the yoga. Half i came into yoga as someone who was traditionally trained. The classes i took were secular. Also not a believer at the time. And that's that was over twenty years ago but once bounce yoga right along with that christian at the same time i just i fell in love with jesus and so i really started to pursue other ask that i really recognized early on that you know in the scriptures over and over meditate on word and he tells us like in philippians four eight to focus on whatever is true and noble and excellent raise where to think about such things so obviously i thought isis jesus very And so we're in an eastern plus resulted into your mind or to clear the lines or to not have thought and so that is very contradictory at with the two different the eastern cyberspace of a christian perspective. So i believe mind body and spirit are absolutely nothing that is biblical you know. We are to treat our body. Like a temple tells us to honor the body or by buddy through them and that's also on our thoughts with them and so it's very much of that goes with allowing us to be feel to encompass to integrate all things that are censored one more on. Yeah that's that's great. Because i really feel like. That's something that we can tend to overlook easily because it's not emphasized a lot and i know it took me a long time before i kind of made that connection. I really kinda had to get to a desperate place. I was like something needs to change. So how how is doing yoga. Help you overcome things in life or built up your resilience or or your resistance the things. How does it help you in times of stress or or trauma. Such a great question and this is all acting the listeners. You know i. I no stranger to trauma or traumatic events. I grew up in a lot of trauma and there is a lot of optimism on the net greatly affected me. I share my story. That i think i cannot one afraid every person and so he took place at desperation where i was see that plow is so open to try noga. After having a lot of health complications. I was looking for ways that i it overcome irritable bowel syndrome. That's what i had. Ibs he end at the prompting smith a professional dancer at the time. And someone my class who also practice your guests. I think this would be very helpful for you. I had no idea how much my mind later hardened wireless physically sick being anxious. Big group will definitely do that. Saw always open. And i tried it. But that's also why. I was so open to becoming a believer. I did not grow up in at christian hall aman so i would see in something. I was looking for something more and church that at the time when the truth presented itself is opportunity to go to a marriage series also struggling in my marriage so i was definitely hurting and i was ready to take hold of something that would be giving an. I believe that the life giving our is to is from jesus but also believe he use yoga as a tool how overcome some of the physical ailments has resiliency has definitely been a part of my story i believe on overcome are the scriptures telesat over on ice. And it's not been something i'll clean. Elizabeth been instantaneously or happens in short amount of time. It's been many many years a being restored and renewed in christ but also being able to do that ritual of yoga. Yeah i. I've heard and read. And i believe to myself that are by our mind store trauma differently that it stored in our bodies and it can manifest itself in physical problems. How do you feel like yoga. Helps sort of undo that or or release. That i am. I am a certified trauma informed Instructor and so that can be used or a whole modality of situations and we we use it for the military. People suffer from ptsd Trauma victims in sex trafficking use it in abusive situations. Were someone who rash of looks very different from someone who may be had years of trauma explosive mahal hall. But it wasn't maybe one big thing that happened. It was many instances in so our body does speaker mind and so when we do not know how to deal with the trauma that has happened in our by. Its stores in in store in specific organs. It can store in apartment. Allies insist the areas in the brain and so yoga is and this is persona. Maybe hasn't tried it or has bearing has been about learning to be in the moment. Mine to breathe barnes to let grow your certain postures that you do for example when each twist it helps to cleanse the liber well the emotion any is stored in the livers so a lot of these postures that were doing our work into unlocked into open at places where people have scored different so it's buried releasing very relieved can also be very there. It can also be very careful with how it goes in be overall molly. People did not expect it to be so heated in art so if a if a person say struggling with some sort of physical pain or something how would they. What would be some cues where they might think. That's the result of some sort of trauma versus you know. There's just. I need to eat a certain vitamin or something else that they're missing because they believe in posted. I i to say that. Yoga is the only tool that i've used or that were my students were clients if i think it's one many instantly commute i wanna say. Active supplements are important. And i think that other kinds of natural aires lie. Let's say you did acupuncture or a massage there. Different things like that. All help to release a different accidents. But let's say that you have a low back itchy and so someone has to yoga the way that trauma could be emotional in the theological working together is that maybe they've been ordered. The traumas happen so it started in the brain apartment. Alaska data wet within it begins to feel like a physical ailment and the net worth. Maybe you haven't upper back. The shoulder are tied. And then you just need to ignore it and so just prices down on a down down into the body. Now you have this onic lower back pain. That could be from something that happened to you that he never addressed and so now and because you never to get to the mental or the spiritual side.

"Okay, okay, tours in st. Louis, that's fine. That's fine. So like John's getting somebody. Right and waiting and waiting and waiting I you know, like that's so I don't mean to be respectable skeptical, but it would not hurt my feelings. If say July 27th, Christian Hall, re-signed contracts or whatever. So at least felt like some that'd be a big day if it happens and that single moment it should why not? We need that couple weeks back with like shower and some odd that made our brains going to explode. Like those, what is going on with this tape? Just kidding. So. All right, so now this team and important dates coming up this summer. Check it out. Yes. Where we go, we had talked about this and you're like, hey, can you send me a list? And I'm like, yeah, I have a list but then I never sent you a list. So pay attention, Mark. And everyone out there, this is kind of the last big month on the calendar for this season of the NHL knocked on wood. Everybody's mostly come out. Unscathed. Some of the teams didn't so much but like charged for an Open Season where they are at least in their own Arenas as opposed to the bubble. It turns out they got all their games in and here we are. But the cup has to be awarded by July 9th. What I could probably all because Olympic coverage and all of that because through this season, MBC is still the carrier of our, of the games, for all this month, on the 17th, we have to have the protection. All the teams have to have the protection listed by 5:00 of who their players. So, you know, that's going to be down to the wire. That's fun, because you get to see who other team protecting and start thinking to yourself. All huh? They're going to sign that we can we maybe poached them? So that's kind of exciting gives you a couple of weeks to figure it out. The 21st is the Seattle draft, July 21st, and let's see what happens with their is Frederick. Dumped is to brush dump. Do we trade from pics like, couple of first-round picks? No, I'm just kidding. I don't think we got a couple of first-round picks with them, but that's it. And then the the 23rd and 24th is the normal NHL draft. They've already done the draft lottery. Can't remember, who got the top, pick somebody, but Seattle is in the actual draft this year to ya job. Buffalo, got the top picks in there. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, but it's important to remember that Seattle also gets to participate in the regular draft cuz there are really real team. Now she's going to be like, they're really real. We no longer are going to have thirty-two teams. We officially have thirty-two teams and lastly, July 28th. The day that gives me the most anxiety is free agency opens up, so obviously we get to retain any players. We feel like until at least that date and then we gotta figure it out between rfas ufas. But I would not want to not have signed at Leeds. Taylor Hall, come the 29th, or he's probably not staying here, that's how well. Now, you know..

"Of drawbacks and people saying that you know, he he look like he was you know out of it or or anything like that like he was shooting off the rust seemed like he was fitting pretty well with Craig Smith and Dave G granted like Craig Smith might be scoring on a newline you put them on right now you guys just on fire so which is good news for the Bruins, right that gives them an actual finish on that line, but I think it's be encouraging. I think maybe that one thing people were concerned about, you know, there's the The Narrative about until hell not playing winning lucky or being a dog because he was on some bootleg teams, but I think his attention to details as the game went on we're pretty good. I mean That could that checking effort to really break up that last chance Buffalo hat and over time, you know, he was engaged on the other end of the ice or the thing is encouraging. So I think for a first step really know how you have to be discouraged by what you saw because the chances were there, right? He wasn't burying them. He supposed to work on a little bit but as a first kind of audition seemed like he did pretty well in that second line. Yeah defense of coverage issues. I saw early in the game with him where he wasn't in the best possible position in his own Zone, but again like that stuff, you know it it worked out over the course of wage and I don't expect that to be something that hampers him as the the season rolls along here. But everything you said, I mean, he looked assertive enough again and those own entries are so important especially with that crazy line and again faith in you know, we said this when they first acquired him earlier this week like You know, he's great at setting guys up and with a guy like Craig Smith that works and works out really well, even though the assist that he should have got one off the sabre and it was kind of like a behind-the-back, you know throw up behind Faith. So there'll probably be some there should be some better passes and better setups with Taylor Hall, but overall, I mean like I really thought it was good. I thought he was fine. Like again, you know that solidifies your top six wage. Um, and I think the top six, you know, I think depressed might get a look with krejci and and Hall at some point, but I think for the most part if your top six is a mix of Martial law and Bergeron posture. Smith Christian Hall, you have a top-six. It's legit tub said stop six that have healthy can make a run so and so and we'll get to the 3rd line off later on in the episode where they've actually been a pretty good bet. But if you want to get an even better bet you go to bed online. Absolutely. Listen up guys..

"Thank you for listening to the painting, vice podcasts. And here we believe even closer relationships are closer than we think I'm your host, Freddie all ball. And today, I'm joined by Stacy and Tolan chevik. Stacey and toluene are newlyweds, who are blending, a family, totally as the grandson of the late, Dr Billy Graham, and he's also the author of countless books, including them, fashionable. One way love and it is finished. Stacey Intel Ian, thank you for joining me today and for sharing your story. And you call compliment you on the amazing Wayne which is pronounced our last day. I have been working on that count. I mean, I've been looking at pronunciations online. How does he say? All right. So Stacey, my first question, based on that is actually for you. How long does it take for you to learn to spell your new last name? I'm still trying. Does it fit on your driver's license? Let me ask you that it does it because I don't have to middle names, but yeah, it does like telling has two middle names. So. It's difficult to, to pronounce in diff- difficult to spell in, when we got married, the lady at the county clerk's office looked at my versus if it looked at Telliance. I typically it looked at both of us in looked straight at talion instead, you know, you could take her last name. That's funny. Because my last name's all ball, my wife's maiden name his Johnson. I'm going this isn't a deal killer. She goes, no fortunately love conquers. All all right. So we're going to be talking about life, giving a relationships and life giving relationships or something all of us want. But it's also there's this important ingredient that's often overlooked, that's embracing the truth about ourselves now Tolan I love how you put it. You say Christians, we believe in truth, but we have a hard time telling the truth about ourselves. What do you mean by that? Well as you mentioned in your intro, I grow Christian hall, and was surrounded by Christian people alive. I went to Christian schools grew up in Christian churches, and I always heard a lot about the importance of truth, the value of truth, the importance and value of telling the truth. I learned very early on that God's word is truth that Jesus is the truth. And so there was a very high premium put on the idea in the notion of truth. It was embedded Nate from the time I was very small one aspects about the truth. However, that I did not hear very much about was the need to tell the truth about yourself and what I mean by that is being able to in a sense embrace, acknowledged first, and then embrace what Brennan. Mannon calls are shadow side, and to be able to not only aknowledge our frailty and our weakness, and our sin and to be able to confess those things, but to be able to recognize that we are broken people living in a broken world with other broken people. And we can never actually get to the place of being able to acknowledge an embrace the hard ugly truth about ourselves if we don't, I know something about God's truth, which is that he loves and uses centers because centers are all there are that because Jesus GAAS love for us is unconditional. And as a result of knowing that, what I need most namely, God's love, God's approval, Gaza, acceptance, what I need most. I can never lose. That gives me the freedom to tell the truth about myself without fear. So, for instance, I can sit down with you for any and tell you the truth about myself, I can tell you the ugly parts of may, I can confess lie sense I could share my shadow sides with you. And if you get up and walk away from me, as a result, knowing those things about me in essence, I have lost nothing because what I need more than anything is God's love, God's acceptance God's approval, and I already have those things because what Jesus to stop for me. So in a sense, the deeper, we understand the Radikal easy of God's love for us. The more liberated we become to acknowledge and to tell the truth about ourselves. And that is freeing liberating as you say, because that authenticity that we long for. It's hard to find. So Stacey, you know, how does this principle of embracing the truth about ourselves? How does it fit in your story? I think that unknowingly maybe I had to embrace certain traits that aren't super typical probably early on just because my family, it's pretty large it's super dysfunctional relationship. There's lots of divorces steps in half's siblings in stepparents and things like that. So I had to almost immediately elements every school in through junior high and high school just deal with public. Shame by other people who had nuclear families in, I grew up in church in. So I knew that, you know, my family is specifically my mom. My grandmother were looked down upon because you know they had been divorced. More than once in, they had children from different dads. And so, my family never put shame on me or for those kinds of things at. Felt safe to be who I was in inside my family in a in a lot of times, I didn't necessarily hide the truth about that outside of it. But I felt Shane for it and so going through high school graduating with academic scholarships in having dreams of being the first grandchild. The oldest grandchild to graduate high school that I didn't get pregnant, I'm graduating high school. I'm going to college so that I could kind of I dunno outlive or out get out from under like that. Shame like finally, we've done something right right after high school after I graduated acknowledged that I was pregnant. And so all of that can crashing down. You know, my family didn't turn away from me. They were ashamed of who I was even in my own shame of a hidden sin. That's now like out in the open for everybody to see the I cannot hide. And so it it's it kind of gave me a early glimpse into, you know, what do I lead with do I lead with the best parts of my resume or the parts of my resume that are hard and ugly? You know how am I going to be accepted, now, you know, how am I going to go to school? I'm never gonna deserve anything more. So the truth about myself started to guide the choices that I made in life, you know, in some very specific in life. Altering ways must not there like one. Yeah. The like say the first one, I mean when I had my oldest son and he was taken from me at birth. It just puts pushed me into a part of adulthood, that I was not ready for in my parents weren't even ready for. But they supported mates to fight for my son. I was labeled a an unfit mother, you know, it was all alleged in it was all legal jargon in all kinds of stuff, just to take my son. But in order to get him back in just fight for him, I had to decide some things at, you know, in wear these labels that and it was hard for the first two or three years of motherhood in adulthood, just to go through the legal system, fighting for my child, in despite whatever truth is real about yourself the truth that people try to put on you in light of. Yes, I am an unwed mother. But that doesn't make me an unfit mother things that people face every single day in the labels that were given just trying to. Live outside of those is hard, even if you accept the truth about yourself in. So I married at twenty years old so that I could try to get custody of my oldest son, which I've actually did. But, you know, I didn't think I deserved more than just I needed to be married. Be stable via mom, take care of my child. Get custody of my child. I mean my whole goal was to be stable and be married and just be done and do it, right. I felt like it was the right thing to do so it, you know, it, it didn't life didn't make me make those choices. But I was I made choices that created a life where I had I only had a limited amount of choices list. So it just took me down a path of, you know, that otherwise would not have gone in. So you're a kid, still centrally a young woman college, you have this family history that other people kind of give you the side, I about, like, you know, and, and, and you also have in place, a lot of pressure on yourself to say, okay, I'm going to break, and I'm gonna use a term that believe in but break my family's break the family curse. Right. Right. And so there's this all the self-imposed pressure that a seventeen year old girl is placing on herself. But then you find yourself in a situation where you're pregnant in them. Sure. All these labels start falling back on you. And so then you probably embrace them. Okay. Maybe this is true. Maybe I am just like and you can probably list a million. So how did these family circumstances? Begin to inform or reinforce what you what you believed about yourself already. My, my family because they argue they are and they've been through what they had been through. They were loving and supportive. So I never I never felt unknown by them. And I didn't feel unloved by my family which is not always the case. I mean women that I've spoken to in young girls that I've spoken to for the last thirty years twenty years, they, they don't have the same experience by my mom didn't experience that. Some of my aunts, some of my cousins, so am I best friends women that have come in contact with didn't experience that same thing. But I had a family that just really loved me and supported me in still do in, but being married into a family that I believed was nuclear in stable and I wanna stay better than mine in the sense that they were stable in nuclear like better in that sense. In. I felt like that was something I could give my children, like I will, you know, have this marriage. I will build this home, and they will always have a place to come back to. They won't have to you know, we always want better for our children. So I knew what I came from in, although I didn't look on that as a bad in and of itself. I love my family in loved my childhood, but I didn't want them to live in a broken home. I had already started off by giving my oldest son a broken home. And so I was just determined to not have anything else broken, which is completely unrealistic in idealistic, you know, as a young woman twenty year old woman, but it, it just lead to more emptiness, because it was idealistic and unrealistic in marriage is not just a nuclear legal arrangement that works it self out. You know, wasn't wise enough to understand what love in marriage really meant, I couldn't although I was committed. I gave lip service to commitment for life. You know, I realized pretty quickly. This is if this is what marriage in love is supposed to be. I don't know that I wanna be a part of it. So because, you know, he learned the truth about other people by being married in married into a family in just life. In general starts happening in it starts getting really hard to keep up a facade that even you want to be. I wanted the truth about myself to be that. I'm a good wife in a good mother, and I'm establishing a stable home for my children. I wanted that to be the truth about me, and my efforts might be, you know, might have been really valiant, but Ulta. All those things, I was looking for and came to realize was, you know, only Jesus can be those things for me. But the reality of being aware of that takes so long sometimes in a person's life in you have to go through such hard things, so many hard things just to get a glimpse of that awareness. You know in some people don't hard things happen in. They still aren't aware of how depraved they are in, in how untruthful they are about themselves in the life. They're living or the people around them. And.

So now, you can see what you've been missing Sylvania think farther down the road. You are listening to the conservative circus. And I am your ring. James t Harris sitting right in front of me. I have diamond and silk their social media sensations in the age of extreme political correctness. They're noted for speaking the truth and doing it entertainingly. Now, this deal's been vocal on immigration issues. Noting the hypocrisy of those on the far left who demand open borders and untold social spending on illegal aliens. While ignoring the dire situation of many American children, particularly Americans of African descent diamond and silk, welcome to the conservative, sir. Thank you. Thank you for having us. You know, I had been waiting for this my whole life. Thank you ever since you all hit the scene the truth that you speak resonates because it's not political is not necessarily practice. It hasn't been something that has been tested. You just speaking your mind. Are you surprised at how quickly you resonated that you made a Mark especially during the election season? Well, it was surprising because we didn't expect any of it. If you ask for wanna make our laughed, tell them your plan. That's right. We had no plans for any of it was we liked it this. We liked it. This man, Donald Trump. We didn't like the fact that the left wing media was throwing him under the bus in Cali him out of his name. Right. And so we spoke out about it. We just didn't all of these people were gonna hear it. Well, I was one of the ones that was one of your early listeners is sat back, and it's like what in the world is this. And I think you. You're absolutely correct. It was just from the heart. It wasn't like these people are not not Democrats are should say not Republicans not conservatives. And I feel that you probably voted for Obama, maybe once or twice a whatever. But it wasn't politics. Have brought you over Donald Trump. Let me let me just say this here we will taught in condition to vote democrat. But we found that just because you black it didn't mean you had to vote democrat. That's what we thought. So you can call us a Trump Republican. We wanted to vote for him in order to vote for him. You had to switch your party to Republican. Now, we've always been conservative at heart. We was raised in a Christian hall with a mother and father where you said at the table and had a meal. So we've always had those conservative deals, we just tend to vote democrat because that's all we knew that's what you can dish into was condensed into that. But we found again this because you black. It did vote democrat. We grew up at the same way. My sister nigh liberal conservative lies. Now, I have never voted for the democrat party because I got they got a hold of me and my roommates in college back in the day. So when I started to see you your voices hit the scene. It was beautiful because it was something that I'm deeply familiar with. But just not used to having more, folks. Out there like this now. Now, you have been on a world wind tour for the last year and a half. Yes. The chitchat toward the next stop is going to be in Marietta, Georgia get your tickets at diamond dot. Yes. So and we're being featured in a movie called dummy crafts Democrats, the movie dot com. It comes out in theaters October the fifteen listen, we know that the president is draining the swamp. So what we are doing is exposing the swamp exposing the hypocrisy on the left. So that everybody can see will you can either vote. Right. So that you won't get left aside. And that's dummy crashed the movie dot com. Now. This is your first hold their feet to the fire event. I've been to a few of these. But you guys have come in here. And you have said it on tilt and part of the reason is because people are hearing about this immigration issue from completely different perspective. What is it? What impact has illegal immigration had on working class black America? God listen throws us under the bus whenever you allow illegal aliens to come in. And they can obtain the American dream and black America's not obtainment. Obtaining, the American dream. That's the problem you let people cross our borders. You let them drive down our wages. You let them come and take over jobs. You let them put people out of this. Okay. Let me just explain to you what I'm talking about it. So in the legal alien cross up. All right. Okay. You may have a yard base where your business is booming. They cross our border legal day. Take your business drive down the way. So they making pennies why you was making dollars and put you out of business, right? They're not just picking fruits in this country. I want people to understand that dangerous picking bear. Not okay. On state going into industries trying to take over and thank God for president Donald J Trump that put a stop to the hawk net. Who's you know, they was headed to the Detroit. That's right and take over that industry. Now people are able to thrive in this country because he's a little no, no, no, you're not gonna be able to cross our borders illegally set you up to have this a half. Now, we know those on the left they're trying to do. Oh, they're trying to set them up pretty by giving them sanctuary cities. Sanctuary cities far better in homeless as an American citizen as a black, man. If you commit a crime right now, what's going to happen to you. You're going to jail. That's right. They're gonna give you three hots and a cop behind a lack cell block after they taking your mugshot, and guess what your children they're not going to jail with. Yes. Right. Okay. So how is it that the Democrats is advocating for illegal aliens to come to this country illegally? They committed their first crime when they cross the border illegally. So I guess you're not buying into the separation of family. So here's the deal. So they say well, oh my goodness. We don't want babies to be snatched from the mother's breast. Okay. With Planned Parenthood snatching them from the from the Romans come on talking about you say, oh, well, we want to abolish is. But she was the same party that didn't want to abolish slavery. I want every American to take a look at the democrat and take a look at the people that's working for their own greed and not the need a people to look at the ones that didn't want you to have more money in your pocket. So they wouldn't come to the table for tax cuts. Look at the ones that want to work for illegal aliens, and non Americans we voted you in office. You'll sell it off. Not illegal alien radio boss, technically, you work in. And if you can't work for the American people what we need to do is vote you out while I have you here. Rahm Emanuel now saying he's not going to run for reelection, the mayor of Chicago because of the crime issue and at the same time we had that happened in Chicago. We also have an issue with like the capper Nick situation know, if you're aware of this y'all been traveling now he's the new face for the the Nike ad. We had this. We have this this myth of police brutality out there. In the meantime, we have crime black on black crime. That is just exploding in all of our democrat run cities. Emmanuel should have never been elected. No way. He was nobody by Obama's crowd. That's been elected no way. He was just giving something second of all. It is not a white officers killing black men in Chicago. This is a black on black crime. And black people are getting caught up in the cross fires. And I always say this here. This is my personal opinion. Somebody is getting paid to Tom the other way, you have to be getting paid to turn the other way, we have this level of crime and drugs and people killing up each other and nothing is being done about. Oh, so if capper Nick one in Neil, how much you go nealer Chicago to down there with our brothers and sisters and brothers to stop killing each other. How 'bout you do that Nike? They're paying a heavy price. How much did they start jot was eight. Komo keep eavesdrop because we were never sacrificed and betray our country. For some sues company need to undo this year or let it drop. I don't care if it don't be another Nike shoe or nothing because you got somebody has disrespected country. I he started off. I don't even know what he started processing was protesting police brutality and inequality. Okay. Well, then if you go to the places where it's inequality. Sorry, don't people they pay for a ticket. So they have money to spend the watch you take one ball and running from one side of the field to the other. That's what you want to kneel on the fact, I'll tell you what you keep it up. You will be kneeling and the unemployment LA we not fool with right dominant. Silk new movie coming out. Oh,.
