"I'm really fangraphs and I'm joined as always by Ben Lindbergh of the ringer. Ben, how are you? Well, I have even worse news than I had last time about the minor league free agent draft results. Oh my God. No, I mean your numbers are the same as they were yesterday, which is not good news, but it's not any worse than it was. As I recapped our clocks were cleaned by Ben Clemens thoroughly trounced us, but not only that, there was a control group, I don't know if you recall, there was a randomly selected group of minor league fridge at draftees. This was the second time that we did this a listener did it for us, just at random, selected some manually free agents, I believe it was Thomas Burton, a Patreon supporter who did this. And guess what? That group did better too. We got beat by the random number generator. So if it's any consolation, the random number generator only picked two players who ended up getting the jury playing time, but they still amassed more playing time than our three players a piece did. So Randy the random number generator picked Spencer Watkins. Okay. Got 468 combined plate appearances and betters faced and then narciso crook who got 9 and that was enough to edge out me edge out both of us. So boy, it doesn't reflect well on us if we can't beat the random number generator. We're like the where the venue adds of the minority. Wow, no, see, it's different, Ben, because we weren't confident in our success. That's true. We never professed to be good at this. Yeah. Remember when we did the venue interview, that was why. Yeah, it was. I think about that every now and again. I was like, yeah, that's one of the weirder couple hour stretches in my life. Possible that we're not using enough variables in our model. Maybe we need hundreds more variables. You know, I think that much like our friends at venue, my issue might be an overly complex model. Maybe that explains it. You're overfitting. Yeah, it needs to get to get back to basics. Well, that's humbling. So we'll lick our wounds and come back strong next year. I mean, I'll say this. We'll come back next year. Yeah. You know? Whether it's strong or not. Yeah. What state we're in. We're not going to make any promises again. We are aware of our limitations and baseline difficulty of the exercise. So, you know, we'll come back and we'll just see maybe I will draft via random minor league generator and see how it goes, you know, maybe we'll do a little experiment. Yeah, I'm going to go with the Aaron Boone Louis severino defense here. I think the fact that the roof was open when we drafted, that's why we lost, I think they got lucky, the random number generator in Ben Clemens, they both got lucky and that's why we're down O two in our series to Ben Clemens and the random number generator. Isn't it funny how when it's when it's you complaining about something that happened in your life, you feel righteous and what other people do it you feel like there'd be a big baby in that funny how that works out because you know I bet the roof and the wind and the this and the that did have an effect you know the idea that the other team didn't have to deal with that same set of effects seems sort of silly. It is funny for a team that plays in Yankee Stadium to complain about how park factors might impact. Yes. Not that it is quite the little league park that former rangers manager Chris Woodward called it possibly tongue in cheek. I guess he's got a new rangers manager to talk about today. Oh yeah, I guess we do. But yes, and I'm pro excuses. I think we should normalize making excuses as long as they're valid excuses. Sure. Baseball people, they never want to make excuses or at least they do, but then they immediately just disclaim any claim to making excuses. They're always like, I'm not here to make excuses. I love our team was injured and all this other stuff happened, but not here to make excuses. I'm just going to mention all the excuses. I'm not making them. I'm just going to throw them out there. But sometimes excuses are valid. Yeah. It's just that it doesn't sound gracious. It doesn't sound sports person like, I guess. And we just had a long conversation earlier this week about how random the playoffs are and how much luck is involved in random variation like you can say in most postseason series they got lucky and it's true to some extent. It's just that when we say it about them, right? It's a little bit different than when they come out and say it about themselves. Yeah, I agree. I think it's funny that they're like, I don't want to make excuses, but there was a ghost.

"The pirates in a game where they blew a lead. That was a hard series to watch. Very sloppy in the field. You know, I saw Austin Riley make a play the other day that was tremendous on a short hop. And then I watched some of these other teams. On the shift, they don't know who needs to run to the ball. They cut in front of guys. It's like, you have such inconsistency and good defensive play. The Giants had the bases loaded Friday night, hit a one hopper to first, and he three hops at the home. And the catcher can't hold the ball in the run scored in the inning continued. The giants game on Friday, the balls hit the first base, is you said a three hopper was like too hop the dirt and it popped up on the catch, and he should have been an easy hour. That was terrible. He couldn't even look to second, but the picture probably wouldn't have covered for the double play to end the ending. So I think the easy out at home, they couldn't even get that. Royals come off that win over the Dodgers yesterday and they go to Minnesota. This is an interesting spot here, bubic against Ryan. Twins. Almost a $2 favorite here a mall with a total of 8. I actually like the visitors here in this spot. I have a hard time back in Kansas City because a lack of offense, but I think if you're in Minnesota, you've got to get on track and you've got to do it. You got a 25 now from a dollar 90 on the overnight. Well, I think that's the guardians. The all right, one 90. To me, when you look at this twins team, they need this game badly. Run line plus the dollar 5. I like taking the run line against the royals here that bullpen is bad. Mike Minnesota, it's turning into code red. They still have 8 games against the guardians, but they've got to be within about two games if they're going to make a push. And the schedule shakes out pretty well for the guardians. They've got 30 of their next 48 to close out the season at home. Yeah. And then these two teams meet these two teams played all their games in two bunches. Once they're in the earlier part of the year and then in the last two weeks of the season, a's are in Texas tonight, obviously the rangers under new management could probably going for the ace. Otto for the rangers, the rangers a dollar 55 favorite with a total of 8 of them all. Yeah, it's an interesting one. I'd like to see how this team responds today. We get an idea of how the feelings of Chris Woodward were in the lineup in that Clubhouse and locker room based on a little bit of the performance coming up in the next few days, but this Houston team continues to struggle. They get two runs late in the 9th inning yesterday, but they are just not a particularly strong team, Mike. This team is reeling right now, having lost 8 in a row. You know, if you like the rangers here, not the worst play in the world. Astros at the White Sox are Katie for the Astros, Jose, Johnny cueto for the White Sox, asters of short road favorite here from all of a dollar 30 with a total of 8 and a half, juice to the over, I take a look at her kitty and the strobes here tonight. I like the home dog actually. You do? Yeah, even though the White Sox can't score and they somehow get like four runs and they make it hold up, but I think I was a guy that I think has been so underrated throughout his career. This Houston team feasted on Oakland over the weekend. I think it would be a bit more challenging against cueto and I think or kitty's their capable of hitting him. You know what the thing with the White Sox is they can't get the consistent or big hit when they need it. I asked Jeff Erickson about the Mariners angels game Castillo against ohtani. Here's another three flat for the first 5 plus one O 5 if you like to go under three. Yeah, the Marlins ones even money on the under. Okay. This one plus one O 5. Yeah, I have more faith in the Marlins game going under because you have the ineptitude of the Marlins offense. The angels are still capable of doing something offensively from time to time. I think Castillo is the play here at the minus one ten and angels are minus one 20 at DraftKings, but for me, I would look at the M's. All right, I want to talk to you about the division races in baseball first, and then we can talk about yes, no on the playoffs. You've said the guardians were going to win the central. Their favoritism, but you can still get them at a plus number. There were four to one just two weeks ago. You can get them at plus one O 5. Do you think plus one O 5 warrants a bet? Right now there are two and a half games ahead of both Minnesota and the Chicago White Sox. I absolutely do. I think they're going to run away and hide Minnesota, excuse me, Minnesota just doesn't have the consistency still in the bullpen. You know, Mike, they have an opportunity on a day where the guardians lost. So the loss you actually would have negated that game on Saturday, instead of sitting two and a half back most importantly too in the lost column. I don't know. I think it's going to be a road challenge from the White Sox not consistent enough. Everybody keeps saying the white sex widex. At some point in time, they are who they are. Bill Parcells to me is the greatest line in sports. You are what your record is. And this team is not particularly good. They have base running gaps. They have mistakes, mental mistakes constantly. They're just not a good team. Do you trust the end of the back half of their bullpen? The White Sox? You're supposed to. Well, no, hold on a minute. When graveman is good, Hendrix is bad when Hendrix is good grave is bad. Yeah. The other race, the NL central, cardinals close to $2 now in the market. You can find them at one 90. Brewers plus a dollar 45. This is totally flipped from where the brewers were two 50 and the Cardinals were as much as plus one 90 plus $2. Do you believe this is over? This is the cardinal's division. I do Jack flirty right now made a rehab stint this past weekend. They get him back in Nicholas was outstanding. I think this team is going to be dangerous. I think St. Louis experienced their lack of consistency offensively with the difference. I believe they'll come out of this division. Now again, still close race game and a half back just one in the lost column. So there's definitely an opportunity here for Milwaukee. This thing is far from over, but I just feel like the way this team is playing and you look at Milwaukee's schedule, Mike, a little bit of an issue in 7 of their next ten games. They get the Dodgers. I mean, you talk about a tough, tough spot to be in. And they do have the Cardinals for two more games and then another two game set. They've got two two game sets against the Cardinals. Would you take the no on the brewers in the playoffs? I would, if you believe the Padres are going to ascend, but we believe the Philadelphia. So it's really it's three teams for two spots. San Diego, Philadelphia, Milwaukee. They're separated by a total of two games right now. Yeah, I would agree with you there and I think both of the other teams have been a little bit more consistent and the Padres having to play those I'm sorry, the brewers having to play 7 of their ten games against the Dodgers. Mike, they could end up going two and 5, one in 6, would it surprise anybody? American League, a little more complicated. The wild card. Toronto is a game up on Tampa Bay, Seattle, a half game up with Tampa Bay being the third wild card, Baltimore game and a half back, Minnesota, and the White Sox two games back. Yeah, I think we're going to wind up with Toronto Seattle, and then I don't know who that third team is going to be, whether it's Tampa Baltimore, Chicago or Minnesota, but I'll tell you one thing. I'm more interested in Seattle getting in. I really don't care about the wildcard race because Toronto's been disappointing all year.

"And he got traded and I remember talking to him and how disappointed he was to be getting out of San Diego and having to go to a team at the time that was at the bottom of the standings. And now all of a sudden, fast forward, two years later, he's one of the leaders. He's one of the main guys pulling the pull on that rope and you know his team is a team to be reckoned with. So shout out to Thai Friends. Yeah, absolutely. Can't get enough of them. And speaking of which, those Mariners are 13 and 16, I did pick them to win the AL central. This is a really good team and a really good division. And the reason why I'm bringing that up on this ridiculous walk off weekend we just had and Major League Baseball. Anthony Rendon. He's a huge contract, goes over to the angels, has a disappointing first year. I think even he would be free, freely admitted it was a disappointing time to play for the angels. Team played poorly. He got hurt miss most of the year. Now he's back, he's held he's playing well, hits a walk off yesterday on this team. By the way, 19 and 11 are the Los Angeles angels of Anaheim. They're one half game ahead of the asteroids or 1811. The angels seem like they're real. I don't know. It might be too early to say that. I do think they're pitching is going to come to haunt them, but the angels really good and they do not look like they feel like slowing down. What do you think about their arms? I don't know, and I've said that's when we get I don't know if the arms can continue to hold up throughout the season. I think it's a wait and see situation. But we've always thought that the offense was had the potential to be one of the more elite offenses in the game. And now all of a sudden you got Rendon back right now and I've always been a huge fan of Anthony, man. He can flat out hit when he's healthy. And he's starting to pick it up. He started off slow. He started to swing the bat here better as of late, but I think this angel team could be it. Now, listen, the Astros have run off like 7 straight. And I kind of, we kind of expect these runs from the Astros. Like they'll run off 8, 9, ten straight, the lose 5 in a row. And that's, I think, who the Astros are right now is still a very good team. Not as consistent as we've seen them in the past. And I think that does open the door for an angels in a Mariners to take that division. I think we got to hold up and see in terms of the pitching, but certainly you do know you got two guys that are pitching well, really three guys that are pitching, well, if you count lorenzen, you got Otani, who I think obviously will be their ace. But I mean, cinder guard is look great so far. And if you can piece it together, they got a chance to be in the thick of things for this division. You ain't lying. You ain't lying at all. And last walk off of the weekend, the one we're saving for last because it's the juiciest and funniest. Thomas is a walk off for the Yankees. Everything seems perfectly flying a normal until you put the microphone and Chris Woodward's hand, manager of the Texas Rangers. And this is not the first time Woodward has made a comment about something like this. In case you don't know this, there has been a lot of talk about the Yankee Stadium right field wall being a little short over the years ever since the new Yankee Stadium opened up. Well, we haven't heard many comments about it for like the last 5 years because it's kind of an old complaint. Well, he hits a home run walk off of tag off of the right field wall and Chris Woodward comes out and says that's not a home run at 99% of the ballparks in Major League Baseball, just frustrated. Well, next thing you know, Aaron Boone comes out. They ask him, what he has to say about that comment and just a straight up mic drop moment, bad math there. There's only 30 ballparks in the Major League Baseball. I'm not sure you can. Phenomenal. Phenomenal. Phenomenal. People are calling for Aaron Boone's head in The Bronx for two years. I say, give him an extension for that comment alone. That comment definitely gonna buy him more time for sure amongst the Yankee base. Listen, can somebody remind me when the new Yankee Stadium was put up? Was it like what happened? In 2008? 9 7? We're about ten, 12 years removed from when it came up. At that time, I think it's time to move on. It's no different than the little short porch in Boston down the line. Oh, by the way, old Yankee Stadium wasn't much, much longer. Wasn't much bigger down the right field. So let's get to frustration, right? It was a ball that probably it doesn't go out in many parts. But you're not playing in many parts. Yeah. You're playing a Yankee Stadium. And on top of that, they actually did the math. It was a 106 off the bat. It was a line drive laser over the right center field wall. And by the way, they did the math. The actual math, it would have gotten out of 27 of the 30 ballparks, so you have it. There you have it. Chris Woodward, this is not the first time you've made a comment about an oppo tank being hit off your team. I do believe you had something to say about the great Fernando Tatís Jr. a couple years ago. Now I'm just looking at him and if you have, if you hit an oppo tank off the Texas Rangers, apparently Chris Woodward's.

What kind of silly he dominated for seven years manager Chris Woodward and much better mood after this game, But then he was on Monday after Texas wins it 8 to 1. "List for america fan grass just as an honorable mention and at the time he wrote that there are contacts skills here but probably not enough power on contact for us to be more than a fringe bench bat and it looks like he has maybe turned out to be a little bit better than that so took awhile for him to get there. He got called up to not only because holt had hurt his hamstring but because he was really raking in aaa before he was called up at round rock. He was hitting three fifty to four ten six. Forty eight in twenty seven games. So that'll get you called up and He has done pretty well. So good for india banias for finally making it and joining his countryman and friend adores garcia and i will link to levi high weavers piece for the athletic about von. Yes when he first came up but it's sort of a heartwarming story. Because he pinch hit in his major league debut and he singled against the twins. Taylor rogers and leaf i wrote. The news came while the team was taking batting practice rockall hamstring which had bothered him on. Nfl season was not recovering the way he had hoped after tweaking it again during his tiebreaker against the red sox on sunday the team was going to place him on the ten day injured west. Move sam huff from the ten day to the sixty day. I l to make room on the forty man. Roster and activate abundance for tuesday night's game among those most overjoyed to hear the news banias fellow cuban and unofficial team emotional wellspring advice garcia. We've seen the joy with adults with some of the big hits. He's gotten but when his friend got called up to the big leagues. It was probably one of the coolest moment. I've been a part of manager. Chris woodward said he came running out of the cage. Gave up on you as a big hug and basically tackled him. I definitely just got super excited for him. Garcia said after the game through an interpreter. I feel like. I had more of a reaction. Andy did. I felt like i was the one getting brought up to the big leagues. I'm really proud of him. And i just want him to enjoy the experience and based on how he has played. I imagined that he has so the lesser known and unsung cuban rookie on the rangers this year also deserving of some singing so we have met the strand yvonne. Yes that's lovely. That's very nice while mine was picked for less sentimental reasons. I'm introducing us to johnson junk. Because i'm going to corner the market on on funnily named angels starter. I've moved on from intestinal distress. This newbie. yes. I'm up to this one. This one's better so just get colon. Junk junk was a twenty second round. Pick out of seattle university in thousand seventeen by the yankees and made his way to the angels in the andrew. Heaney trade so he. He was moved at this year's deadline he was ranked sixtieth among the prospects moved at the deadline. Although we will remind our listeners that there were both a lot of and some very good prospects moved at the deadline. So that's that's the thing to know. He's currently twenty nine hundred. The updated angels prospect lists. And it's funny that you mentioned all of the guys debut for the rangers because junk was called up on september third and made his start in the same game when glen auto debuted for the rangers so but prior prior to that he had in his time in aa with the angels head pitch twenty seven and a third innings to sort of. You know okay results. Five to seven era four four four fifth and was brought up and it's funny because his big league line is now sort of the the inverse of that where he has a very good area v close to ten. But who's counting those sorts of things. And i'm gonna get to his performance in his debut in a second but i i just then i have a. I have a bone to pick with janssen junk. What's that he doesn't throw junk. Oh yeah i mean. that's probably better for. It's probably better for him. I mean like. He should prioritize his own professional success over my ability to make jokes. But i'm just saying that the guy doesn't throw junk. I mean if you'd like to know a little bit more about his repertoire. So this is from jake. Male odds right up of kevin goldstein scouting notes on drunk at the time of the deadline. Junk had a one seven eight era. Sixty eight strikeouts in sixty five and two thirds innings at aa. This history with nwea with the yankees. He has taken a real stuff for this year. He throws low to mid nineties fastball and his finally found a decent breaking ball with new slider. He's a fringy prospect with a back end or middle relief ceiling and it's not entirely clear. What his role will be with los angeles going forward. We have projected in relief sort of long-term. But it's the angels and it's pitching for the angels so he's in the rotation right now because there's no downside right. They should see what they have in and kind of go from there in his first outing against texas he did okay. He did allow to count them. One two home runs to dj peter's so he gave up a couple of runs ear. And you know he got a he got pulled after three innings of work but after the game said it was amazing. I've been working must've my life to have this opportunity in here. I'm quoting from a piece in the federal way. A mirror by olivia sullivan casillas. A decatur high school graduate so they were interested in him for his local connection. I had a lot of nerves leading up to mate debut but once i got on the field everything was calm and i realized that same great game. I've been playing my whole life just brighter lights and a bigger stage and i have to say. That's not a junkie answer. That's a great answer for a young guy. Just making his debut so he's up in the bigly rotation. I'm sure that he will continue to get opportunities as they figure out if that fastball and newsletter is sufficient for him to face a batter's multiple times. But yeah that's that's janssen junkie really. Can you just do a couple. Like throw. A couple of pitchers every year so that i can make jokes about it. Well the good news is that he may have a junk power stage of his career. He may not now be a junk polar but he could age into it. So that's the hope. I guess i mean. He probably hopes that doesn't happen any time soon. But the other good news is that on the same day that jensen junk debuted cutter. Crawford made his major league debut for the red sox and cut across. It does throw a cutter pretty regularly so there is that at least. It's spelled with a k. But close enough and the names. This season they're just great names palatable releasing they're really fantastic names some good. We decided to start doing this segment in this season when we're awash with great names to quantify the name value just because i think the perception that nicknames at least have seen better days but who needs a nickname when you have janssen junkin cutter crawford in not Lager snoot bar and to kapito marcano and just all will vest and just all of the other phenomenal names that we have discussed this season. It's really been a banner year. Yeah it's it's been amazing. I have said this several times but it's just the full range of of names just like we have a great range of names so oh i should correct one small thing ben. He was called up on the day. That glen auto debuted. He did not debut against glenn on these important clarification stay issue but you know it was sort of all mashed together in the same time. Glen does not a bad name. It's not it's just not johnson. Junk right yeah. Not quite the same. And andy obama's not quite as exciting. Although i did mean to mention there have been three hundred twenty eight hitters with at least two hundred eight appearances this year. In india yeses strikeout rate ranks sixteenth. Best he struck out in only thirteen percent of his plate appearances and walked point one percent. So that's pretty good. He's got the good basketball skills that eric mentioned years ago. And he's turned out to have a little more powers that played to. And if you wanna learn more about janssen junk and why wouldn't you. Here's actually guest on fan crafts audio just a few months ago..

Attorney Robert Rogers takes no issue with the suggestion because the jailers follow their policies and procedures. And so I think the grand jurors looked at this is more of a global issue that needs to be handled on the front end. Rogers has five of his six clients are appealing their firing. Scott's family says they're disappointed in the outcome and looks forward to a federal grand jury to review the case. Marvin's got the third had schizophrenia. The Collin County Medical Examiner's office ruled his death a homicide. Governor Greg Abbott is catching heat from animal rights activists correspondent Isaiah Carey. At one point hashtag Abbott hates dogs was trending nationally on Twitter. That's because animal advocates across the country were shocked to find out. Texas Governor Greg Abbott vetoed a bill that would strengthen the law against those who leave dogs outside. Without adequate food or water. The law also says the owner can't leave that dog on a chain to retrain the animal or a tether with a weight on it. Abbott says they're already state laws protecting dogs and argued that the penalties rubber to $2000 and Dale, Time of up to 180 days are excessive. And in addition to the dark cruelty built 20 other bills were vetoed by Abbott, among them Senate Bill 11 09, which would have required middle and high school students to learn about child abuse prevention, family valiantly and dating violence. Abbott said the bill didn't allow parents to opt out House Bill 6 86 would have allowed for earlier parole eligibility for inmates convicted of certain crimes. If they were younger than 18 years old. It was a powerful way to win. As a matter of fact, One of the ways that Chris Woodward has talked about is to get these young players well living up to their potential. And Donna's. Garcia's did that. Last night, the major league rookie home run leader went deep twice for his 19th and 20th Brock Holt had a tie breaking R B I single in the seventh inning, The Rangers beat the Oakland A's 5 to 3 on Wednesday night. In fact, the Rangers had hits in the first three pitches from Oakland reliever Pettit to start the seventh after the AIDS had scored three runs in the top of the inning. They come storing back when it last night. 5 to 3 did the Texas Rangers When you look at the NBA playoffs right now, the Phoenix Suns are well, they're a little bit beaten up. "That is a dude that's soaring to the chart Might be your dude like flight fly balls feeling and then isn't feeling to know for some reason today and feeling for some reason today, Robert Plant got me good. That's what Yeah, it was. Just get like 10 times. I'm gonna leave you, Kanye. Here's the Kanye The artful sound drop from Tony. Yeah, that it's kind of embarrassing, but I do like to work out in blue cheese. I like The field. Yeah, I know. He said Yeah, Yeah, yeah. Oh, wow. Alright. Well, here he is. Gabe Kapler, Right? Celebrate him. Who's the Phillies? Jersey Go. No talking about Brandon Crawford's big nice setting. The Giants record for shortstop games played in hitting 22 home runs, Obviously a sensational performance after the game. We had a little champagne toast for, um, and this is in addition to The celebration on the field, which, by the way, I thought was is really cool for call that we were able to send them out there and have that moment on the road. The Rangers were exceptionally classy about it. They participated and Um, spoke to Chris Woodward before the game. He okay? Did I thought that was especially classy And obviously, what they did on the on the Big board was really cool as well. And the speakers and then after the game, we had a little champagne toast in there and will spoke appropriately. And kind of shared that what craw accomplished here is as impressive as anything else he's done in his career and in large part because it's very difficult to keep your job at the major league bubble, let alone play as many games as he has in the San Francisco Giants uniform. At that position, And so with with all the all the act a craw has under his belt thus far, this one is right up there with any of them and one that I think he deserves to be proud of. Yeah, well, said by Kapler there and you know if you missed the rejoined coming in that in Khost brought this up in the leadoff spot. I laugh. Maybe last night made me laugh and take the edge off the fact that the cops were stopping me on one on one South again, not me. I mean, no construction where they serpentine and we all have just come to a dead stop on the Waldo grade, costing me five valuable minutes, sometimes more than that, sometimes more than five Um, but anyway, coach to say, you know if I'm if I'm arrange your life for by the way is there a Ranger like I've never met one during the 2010 World Series. We had some Rangers fans near us and I was in my Form and I was I was doing my loud collapse in their face. You know, I'm such an a hole games, man. Such an a hole. Do you mentioned that game one of that World series? Dude, I got into it with a Ranger fan up by the 3 13 men's room. Dude, some Diana Hamilton tourism. Like when you buy that s deal that I was getting on. This guy was like window. How long have you been rocking Hamilton, but I think I didn't come at them. I was put back into trying to be Adam. Yeah, trying to riff. I was doing it kind of with a laugh. I was like, Let's be honest, I said welcome to San Francisco. Glad you're here. Let's be honest. Let's be honest. You're only here because there's not a Friday night high school football game play right there. That's where you'd rather be. I'm like, I love you. That's great and all, but this is not your first priority. All right, Let's be clear. Yeah, I was like this is this is our first priority. It's not yours. It's not yours. So you know, we want to throw the Rangers on that pile of useless French. Absolutely, even though they've had two World Series trips. It's like that almost doesn't even count. That doesn't mercenary. I mean The concept Murph makes with with Roger Starbuck talking Pittsburgh Steelers to the Giants Texas Rangers. I mean, that's the perfect Compton am I want to try the I'd love it has such a bummer playing the Rangers arrested beat the Yanks for the Red solid, You know, some classic American League. I agree with that event, the Rangers other than the Yanks of the Red Sox, who would you have taken Detroit's pretty cool. They're getting the Tigers and 12 is cool. That's it. That's it. This is a classic two. That's a classic bad. Yeah, I took a white so I took any team that was like an old 19 Hundreds of feeling totally. Yeah, tried the A's. It didn't work after they literally needed a natural disaster. They had to give you a lesson. You never forget, baby. But anyway, you know, it's so I mean, God bless Wotus. And by the way, I hope Bruce Boje and talked to Brandon last night Me manage them for His entire career old pal Bruce Bochy shout out to boats to and always, but, um, it's so great that won't has poured the champagne. Yeah, that's nice. I like that detail to Yeah. So here's Crawford on Wotus pouring the champagne, toasting nice Crawford. I mean, I really appreciate everything he said. Coming from him. Like you said, who's been with me my whole career and, you know been my been my infield coach for most of my career. Also, it was really special and just kind of completed the whole night. I feel like for me. Spherical. That's pretty neat. So getting back to also. So what? This Crawford? What more do you want? So that you guys know in the rejoined Crawford took the field at shortstop in the Giants stayed back when I was like, almost like this is your life moments and he ran out, but copes brought up if I'm a Ranger fan, and if there is a range of life are out there Are you cool with that with another team, Just like Hey, Do you mind if we honor our guy? I mean, he heard capital and Crystal was very classy about it. Yeah, but I'd be like, uh, you guys want to do that at home? You do you go. You're going home in a couple of days. You can do that. Honestly, If I'm the Rangers, you might be like no, this our yard. I'd be peeved if they rolled in here, and they're like no Joey Gallo. He's hitting a bunch of home runs. We'd like to honor room or, like, I don't know. What's the team? It was just cigarettes 200 to honor life. Segura hit his 200 double in San Francisco or something on the P A. About it. We'd like to honor. Um, if you don't mind. I mean, I mean the Vin Scully final game. That's about as far as I'll go. You know what I mean? We gave you Scully, his low It's totally dependent on the player. Let's because listen, if it was like Tony Gwynn, God rest his soul, somebody like that. It really depends on the guy. Peter is a guy who's usually going to get some applause in any given yard. Magmatic 300 all that stuff. There you go. I mean, it's hard to use you cheer it, of course, but also, how do you not Also that's a moment where, like he'd been out of the game for an hour and a half.

"Heels of that giants finished, Don't forget All Star voting is now available. We're talking which short stop, the giant should go after this offseason doesn't matter. Brandon Crawford is on fire isn't the best record in baseball best record in the National League top of the National League West Padres lost yesterday. By the way, Dodgers get to win over, uh behind a walker Buehler seven inning to hit performance. Chris Taylor in a two run homer, and that one they beat the buccos yesterday, so Giants back at it today. Pregame 10 05 1st pitch 11 5. We're hearing that Sam Long. We just talked to Melissa locker about Sam long that he was going to be the the starter today. But Giants media relations last night announcing that it's going to be Zach Little, who's been really sharp in 16 innings and change for the Giants this season. I'm thinking this is an opener situation. This is this may be something where Zac Little comes out and faces 345 hitters who knows what happens. And then maybe you throw Sam long in there to face the bottom part of the order and see how long you can take you see if you can give you four Five right in the middle of this ballgame so we can get into that a little bit later and on the other side will make the connection with Murph and Mac, but I do want to hit on on some sound from Brandon Crawford. So Dave played it earlier in the show problems to the Texas Rangers, which is something not everybody would do. I was joking earlier that like if you were a kid, it was like 10 or 11 or 12 and 2000 and 10 when the Giants rolled into Texas and beat the Rangers to win a World Series, and then they come back in 2021. Okay. You mind if we honor somebody, but if we're wrong? Yeah, exactly. Wouldn't be super thrilled about that. If I was a Ranger fan, will Chris Woodward and the Rangers class acts. They honor Brandon Crawford as he made a start for the Giants, which was record breaking. It was just 1003 under 26th start at shortstop. Her appearance at shortstop passes Hall of Famer Travis Jackson for the most ever by a giant. At the position. He just keeps etching his name deeper and deeper into history for the Giants. Here's Brandon Crawford. They they run out of the field. Well, they don't They let Crawford run out onto the field, so he gets a nice ovation. He's getting a nice applause, and then they honor him at the stadium. They put on the P A. That has broken this record that he set this record for the Giants. He tipped his cap. And then here come all the players on the field and he put on a show man. He rises to these occasions. Sometimes, in the biggest moments thinking, you know, Going back to to the Grand Slam he hits in in Pittsburgh. It's two home runs last night. He's a wizard with the glove. Brandon Crawford on the nice, I guess honoring that his teammates gave him as he ran out to shortstop. I mean, I didn't know it was comment, So it was kind of like a Talladega nights, Uh,.

"It does not move my meter whatsoever. You know, you're really into the rants deal. If you're into that, By all means, how about his points, though? For a guy who pitched for 20 years that he is telling you that This is he's wrong in this regard. This regard this regard and that regard Yeah, Yeah, he made he made good points s. So if I needed a 11 through 10 scores Yeah. Yeah, I'll give it a he gave a good effort there lost where words I think people really enjoy Swear words. So let's give it a 7.8. Okay, I 11.8 point. So basically, it's C I'm like it in 8.9. Really? Yeah, I get it The highest record I even tonight before the the legendary the 9.9. That's a nine point is Illinois Iverson's practice Your good one. It's good. That's good. Jim Mora, Uh, where's echo? More squares. Anytime he gets on television, he forgets he's not allowed to swear He swears he's the best there. There's a have you guys ever seen the Jim Mora of clip when he's there? Outside? Analyzing like after a Saints game, and the news team just threw it to the sports team to analyze what just happened in the Saints game. And Maura doesn't realize he is on TV. I don't think I think so. You know, that was in the big those bloopers back today about the new neighbors, blah, blah, blah that he could go blank himself or something like that. Listen, he said that I should next joint for an entire year or two on the set in NFL network, and he definitely did that at least once before. He's the greatest before we get dollars score on it since we mentioned a whole bunch that are legendary rants that people love. Will we go back to this? Sabathia rant? No, I knew this day. Do we have to celebrate? Not only for ransom, Okay, already Too deep like the rent has to do with the news. Make okay. He's just the media guide. All right. It's just like a rant like that you would play from, you know, Cage's or capper. Something like that. I thought it was well done. And I thought he brought up some good points of dollars school. I thought, yes, boy, most of the ground surprise. We haven't spent any time talking about the temper tantrum on the field last night. Without taking the base. Maybe Martinez manager. Yeah, the base out and I think it was gonna get it out of the it's pulling, threw a temper tantrum tweeted like I'll have that That's necessarily needs that wild talks about what job are you allowed to? Could you imagine if our printer didn't work one day and I just took a bat to it like you can't. What do we do? What do we do? The uniforms could possibly be sucked into the game. There's two he got ejected. What if they needed him to play left field baseball? What if they needed about there? What if they needed him to pitch well, baseball? What about MIA manager pitch before the season's over involved in what form of life? Do you ever see Two grown people arguing nose to nose the way managers and Umpires used to do you know where the way and then the rocking back and forth, you know, and then getting really, really close without touching and said Ted baseball, It's a temper tantrum on Lee in baseball. Is this Bs allowed? Okay, week just take this ball and I'm going to throw that your head because I don't like your unwritten rule violation Baseball. But I do love it, but it's just weird, and it's dumb and a lot of ways. Okay, Here's what I i you've shortened doubleheaders. Right? Have you not shortened doubleheaders? Yeah, well, you seven inning double header, okay? You start with a guy on second extra innings? Yes. What s so what is the reason for all of these changes? I mean, like, we don't want to tax arms. We want to get thirsty. Right? Then why in the world are they so resistant to just installing the slaughter rule? Just do it. Give up. You have the option to tap out at any point today. It's It's silly, Chris Woodward. Did I bring this up on the air off there? Chris Woodward's manager, the Rangers, he was on the other side. You brought it of the Matisse. Argument last year went to tea set of three all pitch in. He was bitching and moaning. He went back and re evaluated it a year later, and he said, What am I doing? I for 25 years I used to rip guys swinging a three Oh, pitches he goes. I've come to the conclusion that the best picture I ever saw him in the back time and time again was the three Oh pitch and it should have been swinging at them. And these rules are stupid. And they were passed from generation to generation. It doesn't make it right now. No, I'm with you. I'm just saying, like We've added all of these rules in baseball, right? The extra inning rule to me is just copping out. I don't want to hurt my arms or I don't want to have to use my arms. If that's the case, why are we so reluctant to the tap out rule? At the tap game. The tap out is quitting is quitting the biggest violation in sports. You're quitting by putting your first thing on the mound, quote quick as you are. I know they were right behind. I'm not arguing with you. I'm giving you their point of him. I'm arguing them through, you will say, you know, good game. You got us. You've got us today. We'll see you tomorrow for done. Fix your stuff. Okay, Baseball. I love you. But fix your stuff. Quit bitching about things that you could fix very easily. They've got more stuff to fix, too, because a current player that was a former player, A current player, says baseball's big problems. With what's going on with all these no hitters. Do you agree or disagree with this famous picture that's coming up next? You're listening to Waterloo and Sylvia on.

"He sees Adam Copeland on the leadoff spot here it on your Google home Smart speaker by saying play K NPR. I want to get into the Warriors, but I just got into. Ah, I got all pissed off during the break there on myself. I was talking to Murphy to Walker point in the bullpen, and I was talking about the four consecutive any of the three consecutive innings to start the ball game yesterday with instant replay reviews, all called for by the way by the Texas Rangers and Chris Woodward and asking empires to take a look at That first play that first inning review for Logan Web. I think it was it was in a double play ball was in a play at second, where they called the runner out at second runner at first was safe. Look like he was out. In the end of reviewing it. The umpire takes well, I should say it's not the Empire's who are at the ballgame, right? They put the headsets on now they're listening. It's out of their hands. Now they're listening to the guys in New York, but for it to take like upwards of five minutes 4 to 5 Minutes is outrageous That's not would replace for the pointer replaced to make sure you got the call right? If it was wrong, and it's obvious you can flip it and overturn it, but to overturn a call, be right or wrong. If it's that close of its that bang bang, and it takes you five minutes to look at it and decide whether or not the place should be overturned, that it shouldn't be overturned. Because the whole point of it is it must be indisputable Video evidence it takes you five minutes is a really indisputable isn't that kid it can it be is the point of replay to be able to Zapruder film like dissected down to the frame by frame by frame by frame by frame. Look at whether or not the ball hit the glove, and the glove moved in time for the guy's foot who hit the bag. If it's that close, you got to go with the play on the field to playing it up, hurting the Giants, and that's not even what I'm upset about. I'm upset that it takes this long. I'm upset that they're telling me we can't play 18. Innings of baseball in a doubleheader that we have to play 14 because games are too long but disputable, But then they took five minutes to sit here and look at a replay review. It pisses me off that they say. Well, we can't We can't spend this much time and appall him. We can't spend let's speed up the games and then add instant replay it, Zemo. I mean, baseball have been foolish for years they've been They've been making mistakes and shoot themselves in the foot forever. This to me is just one of the most outrageous you should have. You should have instant replay for fair foul. You should have instant replay for whether or not a ball leaves the yard. That's all we needed for. I don't let the environment to college first. Let him make the college second. How often are these challenges for foul calls? Getting overturned? A reviewed in the MBA. It's a tryst. Terrible NBA Officiating is bad enough as it is, and I get that baseball empire's gonna make bad calls. They've been making bad calls for 150 years. We've been playing baseball this way for 100 and 50 years. I'm all about the evolution of the game. But you can't tell me that instant replays improve the quality of Major League baseball. He just can't hasn't improved the quality of football. Like I don't know. In some instances, that's the thing is, is it's I don't know there. People are going to continually want more Replace funny cause I don't know that anybody like it loves its the replay. It is, But when you win, you get a slip in the bird there. He had to say yes, certainly didn't make the tuck rule any better. Yeah, man, that's the whole thing is the indisputable evidence. Then with baseball, The worst part about it is The person who's making the call isn't in the building. Turn your ass in the Empire's like at least give me somebody in the boot. Please give me the least. And show me the guy throw up a photo of the Empire who's in New York, so I could do the video screen of the guy who made the call. You don't mean give me the video of him sit in that studio holding up the outside or the safe side from his studio anyway, That's not how it went down yesterday or go park. It was all peeved about that. We could talk more Giants baseball in just a couple of minutes about. It's a part of baseball bats and didn't forget Frank Robinson for Milt Pappas. For God's sake, that's bad trades..

"At WB ap dot com. You know, with Lucas got ejected. Brunton came in and really did a great job of running the team. Drivers coach Rick Carlisle happy about the way Bronson played after Dante. It's was ejected last night in Cleveland. Good morning for Mercedes Benz and playing no sports chess game. Steve Lamb, I usually say is Luca Dante's Go. So go the Dallas Mavericks, but he gets taught. Ah, flagrant two found just 1 55 into the second half. But the man's didn't flinch. They went on to pound the Cavaliers four games left in their season before the playoffs start. Rangers also pounded the Mariners a global I feel they one bust. The game opened the fifth with six runs one big 10 to 2. Suddenly they're wanting a lot more than they're losing, having gone seven and three over the last 10 Games 500 team right now. Hopefully, we can get over 500 tomorrow when we haven't been able to do that. I would see to this point your manager Chris Woodward. They're 18 and 18 3 games behind the Oakland A's who lead the A L West right now. And the Stars were in Chicago. Last name will be there again tonight. They played the hockey game yesterday. That didn't matter. To get this close in this and close to the end of the season and get knocked out of the playoffs. Zhar to deal with Stars coach Rick Bonus even if they would have beat the Blackhawks. Dallas already knew that Nashville had beat Carolina Saturday. So They were officially out, couldn't make it into the postseason. And Bryce and D Shambo did hear about this over the weekend. He didn't think he was going to make the cut. And play Saturday and Sunday and the Wells Fargo Championship. So on Friday. He flew home, flew back to Dallas. But by the time he touched down, got back to Big B. He found out his score was good enough to make the weekend. So he got back on a plane Saturday morning at 2:45 A.m. and flew back to Charlotte. He's three under par on Saturday and Sunday was good tonight, enough for ninth place. Good enough for $228,000, a top 10 finish. And that top 10 finish has moved in past Justin Thomas for first in the FedEx Cup standings. That Zajec of a weekend for him, Brian, You have any idea what it costs to get a private jet to fly? Yeah, Come on. Then. How much is that gonna, but he may have one of those. What do you call him? The fractional ownerships. Yeah. Yeah. So where he can just call it up and say, Hey, I need to go back to Charlotte. I'm using one of my chips. This one. This one I had the same thing happened to me on a putt putt golf. I don't. Yeah, All right, well, you're out of it. I'll make it up because by being first in effect Cup standings if he makes it there at the end of the season, he's number one. Their payday is 15 million. Oh, In. That's something. That's that's retirement, baby. Yes, is to play golf in that wonderful That's awesome. Yeah. So good weekend for Bryce and the shambo that you look at sports. "And it's going to be rescheduled for a doubleheader in august. So when you look at it now not only are. The blue jays gonna be flipping homes at some point this season to buffalo or toronto but now there is for sure a chance that one the blue jays are a home team dunedin. They will be eventually in buffalo. That's almost a lock. There's the hopeful for toronto eventually later in the year and now they're going to have one home game in anaheim so i know last year was weird enough when they were the home game are they were the home. Team at fenway park. Where okay blue. Jays was playing at fenway park. That was weird enough but in washington and washington. That's when i guess buffalo wasn't ready and then that was like the last second announcement that they're going to go to buffalo so just another weird year where they're going to be a home team in anaheim and they're going to be obviously moving at some point to buffalo for shirt so i feel it's just it's unfortunate but we dismiss them here in toronto one thing. I thought was funny. When they announced today that they're playing the doubleheader in anaheim with in know one in one one home game one road game. I think the home game time was three. Oh seven instead of like five or three ten because we know the blue jays always start the games at seven minutes past the hour or half hour. Twelve thirty seven. Start time so i thought that was funny. Little cute owed to what the blue jays always do. So anyways one name. I wanted to mention as well before. Return to some of the standout pitching performances and some of the disappointing pitching performances. Is josh blasio's of course. Everyone knows that name. Now it's a household name but we talked about him. During spring training was tearing it up then didn't make the cut on opening but you know being called up quickly after insane game. Yesterday he had four hits four runs scored which was the first time someone has done that in the first two games of their career into nineteen o one. That's going back to the before the first world series in nineteen. Oh three before the modern era. That's how long it's been one hundred and twenty years since someone has done this before. He's a third rookie in blue jays. History to do this and the second number nine hitter in blue jays history to do this after. Chris woodward manager of the texas rangers So crazy games for him It's awesome to see him up in hitting in the majors and what we're talking about roster space. Unfortunately there's probably not roster space for him in the majors. And jonathan davis. He's gonna be fighting for space there which is of course another question but it's awesome hitting were of course can see more of him this season. I hope it can keep up Let's turn to the pitching side of things. The first name that. I think we should mention kick things off with his tanner roark. of course. everyone was freaking out. After his first start of the season it was horrible and horrible. 's light word to use for what it was. Five earned runs three innings. Pitched three home runs only to strike outs. didn't struggle with command. I guess he didn't walk anybody that's because everyone was just hitting everything he threw and after that came people were kind of like. Okay the tenor rock experiments over the truck has run out of fuel. We have to move on from him. He was supposed to start today for the blue jays. Of course got rained out. I think today was maybe like the final straw is kind of what we're hearing from the blue jays and then after the game charlie. Montayo says he's moving to the bullpen. He's going to be a long reliever from this point forward..

Tesla unveils its first electric pickup, the Cybertruck, starting at $39,900

"Tesla just introduced a new truck electric truck Chris Woodward from USA Day is at Tesla headquarters right now and he is seen the truck and before we started talking. He told me he's never seen anything like it before Chris till people in Jefferson. I I am shocked. This is the most radical pickup truck that would ever be in the market. It's almost like a spaceship or military vehicle. It's very sharply-angled Liangel to both ends. It looks like it's bigger than a conventional full-sized product truck a cab a cab or crew cab in front and Abedin back with the cover. It's just a remarkable vehicle so it's going to start at forty thousand dollars but they're not saying when it will be out correct. Yeah thirty nine nine to be exact That's where the two hundred fifty mile range version remember electric. It's going to be forty nine. Nine hundred word for the three hundred mile version and sixty nine nine hundred. The five hundred mile version five hundred mile range would be make it the longest range range electric vehicle out there now but as as listeners know tesla loves to make announcements but when we get to see these things could take years yes but sometimes they are really dead set on a particular product and really getting out the door. You know you're absolutely right sometimes. You're just trying to gauge demand or trying to make an impact but this is really something I mean. There's a crowd of about oriented out here right now you can still hear the excitement in my voice And the crowd crowds just going crazy when this vehicle grove on stage and they saw the numbers that went with it.

So once again, tesla is about to introduce a new car, I will be there. I'm Jefferson Graham with USA today. You're listening to talking tech. And I'm sitting here with Chris Woodward who is covered many a tesla event. First of all he's gonna preview what you're gonna see in these going to tell you what it's like to cover one of these things. Hi, chris. Hi jefferson. So this is going to be the introduction of the new tesla model, y which is there I sort of mid priced SUV a really important model for them because SUV's are super hot and up to now Tesla's have been so expensive most people couldn't afford them. This is their attempt to conquer the middle part of the SUV market and introduce it they're going to have one of their big job. Rock concert style. Introductions, and what are those like it is a pretty amazing thing as a reporter to see this because you are surrounded by hundreds of tesla fan boys fan women, all kinds of people that are really into tesla. And you're nestled in the crowd there with all the lights all the drama the cars driving out of the darkness everything they can to hype hype these new introductions and it's a four hour event. What happens in four hours? They do everything they can to build the anticipation, so you're sort of you arrive there, you're milling around. You know, you're checking out various little displays or things they want to highlight about tesla. There's a stage there, and you know, at one point the music starts outcomes. Ill on musk. The crowd goes crazy because he's their hero. And then one by one day introduce these cars and just like apple they'll throw in surprises. Okay. And the big deal there is that we get to take a right and. After that van is done and after the cars out on stage, and everyone's still really wound up. They'll let you go to an area where you can get in one of these new vehicles and go on a little test track ride around to see what is actually like to be in it. Okay. So these evening precedents evening events for tesla. Clearly works for them. Why isn't although an Audi and VW doing stuff like this some of them try, but they don't have the hype that goes around it. We all know that certain products are emotional, and they turn people on just ask apple just as anyone that owns a new iphone or anything like that. How personally excited they are about it. Tesla has the ability to do the same thing with its vehicles. It can really get people wound up because they load tons of innovation in them. And they also sort of embody the persona of Elon Musk who was a hero dole ought of people. So that's something that's very hard for Ford to do with the new explore or chess. Vey able to do with the new blazer? All right. You say mid priced SUB. We're talking fifty grant we're talking probably about fifty grand. Now, remember the model? This is going to be vehicle that's kind of a companion of the SUV companion to the car, which is the model three. It was supposed to start at thirty five thousand actually it came in at about forty five thousand and they're trying to drop its price now. So I would expect this to be an SUV that list for less than fifty thousand dollars still expensive for a lot of buyers. But a lot less than the luxury SUV they have out there now which goes for almost one hundred. Okay. Well, I will be there covering the event. And I will have a full report for you on Friday morning. I'm Jefferson Graham with USA sitting here with my friend, and Charlie Chris Woodyard, you can find him on Twitter at Chris would yard. I'm at Jefferson Graham, thanks again for listening. "Talking tech is brought to you by wicks dot com with wicks you can use artificial design intelligence to create a stunning website right from your phone in five minutes or less. Just go to wicks dot com. That's W I X dot com and create your professional website today. So I love the idea of opening up a car with my watch all the people who are listening who always lose their keys. What a cool idea is that it's coming in the future. I'm Jefferson Graham with USA today. Listen talking tech. I'm here at the Elliott shout. Chris Woodward from USA day. As with me, we have both taken a look at this new futuristic infotainment says Senator from d'arme, you probably won't see it for a year or two, but one of the cool things it will do is open the car with your watch. Chris. What do you think I think that's a great great trick to have up your sleep? Now, remember on Garmon, this is a company we all know for making navigation devices. It's also a great example of a company that needs to get out ahead of technology to leapfrog where everyone else is because everyone else's caught up to where they were. So what they're trying to do is integrate a whole number of technologies into their car and being able to get into it with your smartwatch is just one of them. Yeah. The watch is one thing they're going to announce in January in alliance with the German manufacturer who could that be BMW VW know who who knows and you'll be able to send information from the watch to the car by the end of the year, you'll be all the open the door with your watch. But this new entertainment system is really competitor, apple and Android with what they've got. But the cool thing about it is that you could use the apple carplay if you chose you could use Android auto if you chose and they also have other fun things. Like, better, weather, better navigation, those and of course, restaurant information and things like that. So that makes you wonder is better better better going to be enough. There's no leapfrogging technology in his goal even the smartwatch to open. It right now. There are other subs out there for key-fobs. So makes you wonder if they can do better better better on about eight different areas. If that's going to be enough to make them stand out in. A very crowded field for this kind of technology going into cars typically when what we're seeing today in Vancouver Twenty-eight teen looks pretty cool, but this won't show up in a car till twenty twenty one or twenty two two if we're lucky yes. But this stuff is coming on pretty fast again, their computer their competitors are on their heels. And they have to try to get a little bit ahead of them. When it comes to that kind of stuff. It's happening very fast. The thing that intrigued me when we got a look at talk to these guys was trying to do some sort of virtual reality things in the car. They're trying to do like when you see navigation. They're trying to put new overlays on that more than what we're seeing. Now, we're tell you the name of the street like, for instance, you're driving on Broadway, and it will show you pictures of the restaurants pictures of the restaurants, or, you know, all kinds of different views or the ability to call ratings for that restaurant. I mean that is where the action is it's an infotainment. Actually on the other stuff doesn't really matter as much it looks like an ipad in your navigation. It looks like an ipad new dashboard similar to a tesla. A big beautiful screen, and we'll see how successful garment is a getting it into these cars. No word on the cost. But it will be an option. It will be an add on from the manufacturers. Yes, they could market directly to the customer, but more than largely I think it's as you mentioned what they're going to have a German partner. It could be an automaker. It could be a supplier like Bausch, and then they'll just sell it directly to the automakers. But here at the Los Angeles auto show, we're seeing a ton of really innovative info infotainment systems, including some that stretch all the way across the dashboard. Okay over here. We have a new vehicle that was introduced today that it's a new SUV. It comes from a company called Biton B Y T O N. They're gonna make them in China. They say they're going to be due out in the next year. And in this concept version of disaster V is. Infotainment screen that stretches from one door to the other at about ten inches high. So this Mosser sleep huge infotainment screen in which you could continuously broadcast information to the driver. And the passengers the big question how distracting will that be for the driver as I look into is peer into that vehicle. It's seems to me like it would be really distracting. Now, it is a concept. They could definitely tone it down for production. But talking to one of their guys they say, no, this what what I see is pretty much. What customers will be getting? I thought the garment display was distracting. But you know, what can I say? I certainly the kids in the car will love it. And we'll see what happens from the L A auto show.
