I tested negative for COVID, but our 5 year old granddaughter comes over every weekend, spends the night with us and hangs out and apparently she picked up a virus to school and she shared that with Grammy and pops and I think mom and dad just finished up with it or they're finishing up with it today. So God bless him. He's actually, as we're recording this right now, he's doing a presentation later today in St. Louis bispo. It's the first time in 7 years we've missed a speaking event. I can't believe it. Can you clean up and cleaned out apparently too? You're back to square one. That's a hell of a way to lose weight, but I did. But a quick disclaimer, we talk about crime and we talk about bad people doing bad things and bad people doing bad things to good people. We do take the story seriously, but as you can already tell, we don't like ourselves at all. No, we don't. And one way we don't take ourselves seriously is we have to talk about something very important, Steve. Do you know what time it is? I think it might be time for. And this week, we've got a couple stories from our game of crimes, fan group, the group is run by our favorite mafia queen in residence, sandy salvato, and we've got a couple that came in. So yay, so hey, Mariah Lawson sends us this next story. And Steve, now I got to ask it. Have you during your times with DA even as a real cop when you were back in krusty krab West Virginia? Do you ever have to search anything that was abandoned like a house, a car, you know, a business? Oh, yeah. All the time. Have you ever found an abandoned car? Not a short question. No, you found cars that were abandoned, you know, people dump them, you know, they leave them, you know, drug runners, like that, right? Yeah. I bet I bet you hear something you've never found on the road and abandoned house. An abandoned house on the road. Police and Iberia parish Louisiana recently arrested two men in connection with an illegal heavy haul that resulted in a shitload of property damage and power outage. At three 30 a.m. on May 22nd, this is just recent. I mean, we are just talking about days ago. The Iberia parish sheriff's office responded to berard road in laurelville, laurelville, population 778. For a report of an illegal transport of a house when they arrived on scene, they found an abandoned truck. Trailer and a house blocking the entire 400 block of berard road. This plan an ongoing situation on the owner of the house, Troy domingue. Was instructed at warned by the sheriff's officials that proper permits needed to be had, he did not have those, and they tried to move down co two homes road. They mowed down mailboxes, road signs, trees, were damaged in the process, as well as power lines and poles causing 695 power customers to be without power for several hours. They located and arrested and if you saw the mug photos, they do not look like the sharpest tools in the shed. Domingue and Nico, and that's like, how do you spell snow and Louisiana UX? This is co host. 32 on charges of violation of fair shortage, obstruction of highway commerce and criminal damaged property, both men were booked into jail on bonds, Steve, of a $125,000 each. You know what, that's not high enough for what they did because if 695 people lost their power, there's only 770 people in the community. Oh, there's a bunch of pissed off people there. But if I was them, I might look at an alibi of a hurricane. Hurricane combat picked everything up and put it there. Magically put it on wheels, rolling down the road, tied to a truck that happened to be these guys. So oh my gosh. That is one magic hurricane, my friend. All right. I actually thought nobody's gonna notice a big ass house driving down the street, huh? What is it, Martha, don't know, can't see it for the house that's in front of me. Might be Dorothy in there. There goes Elmo timbo. He's going down the road there, and that house. He's looking for boudreau. That's all. Food drone did the drug. Anyway, next one comes to us via of Luis Chavez again from our game of crimes fan group. This is a popular place to get stories. It is. Steven, keeping in line and keeping in line with weird shit that you find out on the road. This is Jacksonville, Florida, but it's a Florida man story, and I'm telling you. So two men were caught with something strapped to the roof of their car. And it was a power pole and aluminum power pole. They were trying to steal a lightbulb. And this is a few years ago, but after hurricane Irma, the Jacksonville men were arrested after someone reported them seeing them load a light pole on top of an SUV on the wonderwood connector on Wednesday two days after hurricane Irma comes major damage.

"To get some of his clients. Charges dropped in that case or he had them plead guilty for less harsh sentences. Okay now he's known as a defense attorney to have his clients plead guilty to lower sentences jokes to get them basically to get them plea deal for her now. Interestingly enough the prosecutor in that case as well gary reason was going to be the same. One trying to prove that. Chris wilson was guilty of murder. Oh these two were going head to head again. oh wow like however licked. What twenty years. Later that's crazy like rematch time. Now the prosecution did have a good going for them. They had a piece of duct tape. And that's the one that was found along the shore that was it was found along the shore. Mckenzie's body had been found in chris's dna was found on it. And so as mckenzie's blood. Now it was. Chris's weiss strand dna found on the duct tape and it was found through. Y. s. t. r. profiling. Okay and. why can't actually identify a specific individual like a fingerprint would but it can narrow down a statistical pool of people So the dna profile found on that piece of tape would most likely be chris. Wilson's but according to a court affidavit quote a white male has a one in one thousand forty seven chance of sharing wilson's y. s. t. r. profile. Okay that sounds like a big number. But it's really put in. Yeah and if so that like his profile would be shared by his father. His grandfather like pretend like maybe even like some bro. It's yeah it's intense. Yeah now obviously a slim chance that it was somebody else's dna. Because i yeah. I mean i was in forty seven. It's it's a coincidence. It took his that. It happened to be the guy that they're looking at. But because it's not like a fingerprint or something like that's not as compelling it's not as compelling and it's enough that would provide reasonable reasonable doubt to a jury for sure so the prosecution had more though now..
