He's just going to be are minor league goalie for five years and retire or whatever but either way he feels a role for them that's required. It makes sense to me. Chief as opposed to taking on money. On what the bills should do, so I want to get to that. But First I got to get the Sabres out of the way. Because they've really And A lot of my thoughts today. Ran through on cap friendly, A Seattle crackin expansion draft simulator. Cap friendly has it on their the interactive section. You can go do it yourself. You want and The Sabres. Have. I think the such an easy decision to make such an easy decision talked a lot about this last night, but they have such an easy decision. The forward group should be decided. That had lots of upside were young and gave Vegas way too much to work with. And I think lessons will be learned on that front. Maybe there won't be as many side deals. But I think the teams are going to get smarter about it. This go around, and every time I go through the crack, and they look like they're going to be one of the worst teams in the league. And why would Rast mistrust align and want to resign there? And that might be what causes Seattle to not take him. So if the crack in know that and they want to go another direction, maybe they see Girgensons as a guy that can be a bottom six player for them for a few years that they want to go more long term on that front. Maybe if they want more cap flexibility, even Colin Miller might be someone that they feel like that's more likely to resign there. I think risk The lining is still Good option for them, Even if he tells you up front. Hey, Seattle. I'm not signing with you. You probably should take crystal line and then trade him. You're the cracking, that's your best option from the Sabres. So Seattle will have a decision to make if the Sabres exposed Resto, but the sabers don't have a decision here. But it's Morgan. It's bargain all day. Long. Easy. It's easy decision. You do not choose a few months more of wrist align in hockey. Over a guy that, hey, he might never become anything in the NHL and Wilberger. He's played only a few games, and he's looked pretty good, but its own. I could count. How many games on one hand? And he's 24. Long development track for this guy. "Because anybody that sends are willing to deal really won't fetch you much back as you indicated right exactly and there's not going to be much of a market for them to start with so i look at. That is pretty much you know doing nothing at the deadline and And obviously this is lots of people would be interested but all these blue chip prospects. They're all right. now in. The midst of a rebuild untouchable. So i wouldn't expect it to be a particularly crazy day for the sends. It might be interesting. A couple of guys being moved out. And you mentioned tyranny riley. Those are a couple of the names that i think might have value to other teams. What are you get. No second third rounder. Almost a i guess. I guess i i still make that deal. But it's going to be an interesting day all all in all because it's like no deadline day we've ever seen before you've got teams eleven. I in the expansion draft and maneuvering that way. But you're limited like unless guys are on. Their expiring deals anybody with term left. Those guys are going to be harder than ever to bring into your team. Because i mean. Gm's will have plans plans for this year end for next year and beyond and you don't have the luxury of a salary cap that's going to be increasing next year and it always is but this year because a covert and no ticket sales. The salary cap will stay exactly where it is. So it's pretty tough to add money right now too your payroll for any player that you're excited about. That could help you for the stretch run. Just because you don't have more money being added your cap situation and you're going to have to really do some juggling to bring anyone with termine. Yeah which which explains why every single player we've talked about with the exception of chris. Tierney has no term laughed at all. You just pay them a portion of this year salary.
