"I talked about it. Last segment that there's moments that certain guys put themselves in thrive. Right. I don't know about how many times you used to do this story. But for me, I grew up, and we'll we do we go to the back yard we go to the local park. Grab a basketball say five three like we put ourselves in those moments. Right. It was those moments those games, and yet maybe Steph curry and Klay Thompson where he wouldn't do it on NBA courts when they were little because of their fathers, but they put themselves in those moments because in the fourth quarter there there was a a distance between Steph and clay versus the reigning MVP of of elite. Like James harden has to take over James harden has put the team on his back. I mean, he hit maybe I think one shot down the stretch. But if I'm the Houston Rockets, I gotta go down with my best player. And so yes for Titas, right? Yes. I we gotta fight. Because there was there was no fight that I saw the strain. You know, the the termination the look of grit. It was a look of I'm climbing a mountain and all of a sudden instead of keeping my eyes at the top I turn around and look back down. Well. You look back down. And now, you're like, oh, I didn't know where this high. You can't do that. You gotta keep fighting keep scrapping keep clawing keep climbing. The rockets didn't do that. And now you stuck with some. Oh, man. We're looking at contracts yesterday. It's it's a mess, man. Oh, man. They got locked a lot of guys are locked in. They're already here the luxury cap threshold with guaranteed money for next season. It's they can't make many changes. It's not much that you can really do especially in in today's NBA. If you don't have the space. I mean, you have to move contracts round to obtain obviously free agents to come into Houston. Look, I don't I don't doubt that they would get free agents. But do you have the space, but also to you know, what do you do with Chris Paul Chris Paul look he had a good game yesterday that I'm not going to you know, you know, kind of bash him a little bit, but he had a poor series. And yesterday was better favorable matchup him going against, you know, Quinn cook. And Steph curry that's a little bit different. But when you know other guys were put on them, he didn't really step up. So as much as I want to praise the wars, I will as a warriors fan born and raised in Oakland, California. I wanna praise them so much. But a lot of this falls on the of James harden. And yet and the rockets 'cause they wanted to smoke and they got smoke. Okay. They wanted all the warriors small like all we want them this mirror last year, we want them, and if we were fully healthy with Chris Paul and yet the situation you had them up. I mean, you had the series tied to to Katie goes out, and you've been mixed to gangs. It's this is more. I think about James harden in the rockets, not season the moment. "If he's if he's doing stuff that is made what are your thoughts on that? Mitch. Well, I think James is you know, he's definitely one of the best scores in the game. No question about that. I think for me, you know, when I see James harden EFI gives me a little bit more effort on defense. Then I think he has been been doing that in this postseason. Then I think you you you say this guy's a real real MVP because he's playing both ends of the court. But what he's doing now? I mean, the guy is very very hard to guard and with with the new rules. You can't hand check. You can't do anything. So I it's very difficult to, you know, the same thing with Durant Durant with with his size his ability to shoot from anywhere as he's really tough cover. Yeah. But different, and and it's my more of and I'm sitting in for my man rich Eisen, and I'll show what you guys as we go along through the day. How how much I love retired. How close we are in our relationship that goes way beyond the times. See us on NFL game day morning on Sunday mornings. I mean, he's just my dude man in it. And I know what he's he's out. So I wanted to step in a love him so much, and I'll share our relationship with you guys as we go foot, but but back to that series man when when when I see that game and I'm watching his game. And I'm like, wow, this is incredible. Because you bring up to players you bring up hard and you bring a Kevin Durant. Durant is different do. Yes. He's just a different. Do. It is funny watching basketball with James harden even know now now now now that they've gotten account all his shot. I seem a I think a more viable, James heart. Like, I saw him driving a lot and passing the ball out giving it out 'cause shot was off a little bit. And then he then he started hitting and he goes back to that isolated basketball. And I just don't know if he'll ever get his due credit until he gets over. Golden State is is just like any other great player when Matt Moore and Michael Jordan had to get over the Detroit PAL. This is something that he has to accomplish to get over the Golden State Warriors think is going to be a tough task. I think he's going to be a great series to see. But I still see Golden State coming out on the top in winning this series. But I think it would be tough. You got Chris Paul Chris Paul was the difference last year. Then he got hurt, you know, now he's back and he has displayed some some of his Chris Paul from last year. But you know, they really look good in in game four. So we'll see what happens. I thought their game three game three. I thought shot until I saw game three tell you. Why thought in shot guys? You guys are both you guys going. Everybody's going for Golden State everybody expect Golden State to win. Mitch. I wanna ask you that. You think Golden State was a shoe in to win this series heading into the series because everyone's saying this is the most vulnerable Golden State has been right? Yeah. Houston pushed them to seven games last year. They make one or two more three pointers. Chris Paul doesn't get hurt. Houston makes the NBA finals. Maybe they win the NBA finals. Do you think Golden State was able to get got were they in a position where Houston could take them down heading into the series? I've thought, you know, Houston, I think beat them in the series in the in the post. I mean. Regular season in the regular season. Right. Yeah. But I always thought at at when it was time to play. I know this was going to be a difficult series for the state. But I thought you know, I feel like the game will go seven and the go go to stay..

"Right. As of right now that is going to knock them off. But Oklahoma City does match up with them do agree, which is where their strength with Dennis Schroder with Russ Westbrook with Paul George not only can you defend all of them, but you can make Steph clay and K D all guard somebody that's as important as anything. But ultimately, I think it's it's a matter of attrition. And then unlike last year where they got through the west they've squeak through the west. And then we'll it's the Cavs coup. We can exhale we can finish the deal. Now, they could potentially face the toughest team at the end of that west Western Conference wrote which is why I'm not one of those optimists that we're going to see three peat. So who do you like in the east the less time, you're on? You did not like Philly and Milwaukee. Yes, I I liked Toronto. And Boston I'm going to stay with Boston. I know they're issues there. I am hoping that they cooler heads will prevail. And they will the clicks. We'll go away, and they will put aside their personal agendas, and they will come together and play because I believe that they have all the experience and the pieces they have all of it. But short of that if it's not Boston. I like Toronto I like their defense. I like their length I like their experience and again. Can I just believe that they have the wherewithal to make things difficult not only difficult on the warriors ofensive -ly, but they have enough scorers that are going to make difficult matchups in because to your point those two teams could get Golden State last in the finals. Right. Exactly would have the exact exact I think the biggest one of the biggest keys for the warriors. Is that you have to have someone that can make Steph curry guard all the time because he really wants to rest on defense. Because normally if you look at the point guard if he can play clay grams. And so now if clay takes James harden this second round that means he's going to have to deal with Chris Paul Chris Paul is gonna go at it. That's what was Bilas to still he goes Ed because now you gotta put clay on Paul George because you definitely not gonna put Steph curry on Paul, George. You got to make him work. Skip. You can't let him lunch on the on the defensive end make him exert some energy zap some of that. Now is a great luxury. A great fallback is to have. Kevin durant? Is that a guy that can go average thirty for any series? Maybe thirty five thirty eight in a series jail was I'm so oppressed about Klay Thompson. And I think it goes so unnoticed give as he always has the toughest defensive assignment..

"You know, quiet, Leonard impulsion both at their best wonderful defenders, but they are different. You know, like, I think part of what Paul George does. So well as the way that he can get get through screens really get into guys and quiet is quite can. Do that you know, he can do that stuff. I don't quite as well as Paul George, but he's just so nasty as a help defender and in passing lanes and all that kind of stuff. And so my question is I've long thought that what does you know, that that that's more valuable? But there's a very good argument that Paul George brand of defense with the way the league is becoming a little bit more guard dominant that ITO in less. There is a LeBron or Jaanus in your series that what Paul George does defensively might be more valuable glow. Certainly the case this year because choir has fallen off does he quite have that fast ball? I do think quiet as mention is a little bit better of a playmaker than Georgia's other. Obviously both awesome in that category. I also don't think that Kawais been asked as much to really guard out on the perimeter and really slither on those screens. They've got Danny green. They've got Lowery on their team. So he's be asked to really guard. Smaller guys as much as George perhaps. Yeah, it's tough. I wanna see what quiet looks like defending in a playoff series. It's just he's fallen off. So. So much and then didn't play all last year. It's like you're comparing where he was in sixteen seventeen etiquette reached a level in sixteen seventeen that's higher than Georgia's ever reached main. Even if you just go back and watch game one of that warriors series before he got hurt and he was just unbelievable in that game. So I, but it's been so long now, it's really hard to compare me. The yet to say that Georgia is better in your hoping that Kawai can get to that level. But it just I mean, I think ultimately for me when Kawai was healthy he is at a level for a couple years, and he's been right back there this year from an offensive standpoint that energetic is game has a little bit more juice as the lead guy than George. But I mean, I guess I'm just being I'm just being too much of a George skeptic. You know, if he plays as well this year Yonis had to unbelievable months, and then you'll have these months where he kinda drops off a little bit to 'em. So I am I just can't quite get there yet with George if he has an unbelievable playoffs this year than you know, he'll be right in this. This. Group to me interesting though that I haven't heard eighties name. Yeah. For me, where do you have him? So he is in my he is in my tier three he is not the top guy might cheer three. But Davis Davis is a really hard one for me. And not for the reasons I think he's hard for a lot of other people, and it's because this year, and yeah, there are a ton of context reasons to to to wonder about this. And I I am very very cognizant that I probably have two well, I actually have in tenth, but he's in my tier three and those guys have him last year. Let me look I had him seventh last year in last year. My tier two was Jaanus AD and Chris Paul Chris Paul the only player who was in my top ten last year. Who is not this year?.

"There is a player on the line. Layup lay off and on tonight's show. We will get the one in the only John Collins of the Atlanta Hawks joining us, we'll also gets smarter because Maliki Andrews in the mid west. She'll join us the pronto for sorrow badly in a bag and of course, sports betting analysts. Doug is there? And we'll also be joining us today on NBA insider. So it's going to be so much fun here with Bobby Jordan. So let's get things started. There's no hotter player in the NBA right now then Houston zone. James harden, James harden has been absolutely so much word thirty points and twenty two consecutive games. Only other player that did that Wilt Chamberlain forty points in his last twenty seven games. That's his average right now. The rockets are playing the magic, and this is a big deal. Not because James harden, but largely because Chris Paul is back and a big question. Everyone's wondering is can. James harden, sustain this scoring success with Chris Paul back. Now right now, the rockets are down to the magic fifty three to sixty one. Again, a lot of teams sorta just played their best game of the fourth quarter against the metric and sorta walk winds. No shade. But if you look at Chris Paul Chris Paul believe he did get the start only two points one for three from the field. James harden? It looks like that thirty point streak is gonna continue ten fifteen from the field for twenty six points. Bobby? How do you see Chris Paul's debut again? Well, we knew it was gonna be you know, there's gonna be some roster. Here's a player hasn't played since before Christmas. He's only got two points. I think the big thing. The takeaway from the first half this game is that this Houston team has been out rebounded. There've been out rebounded thirty to twenty twelve to two on the offensive glass. And that's with Nikolov LUSA who's all star got seventeen and seventeen and twelve that's kind of that's been their achilles heel. But I think we all knew that getting Chris back in the back in the line. Probably you know, you're gonna watch his minutes is going to be a a kind of a work in progress here in some people don't really understand that. It's not just Chris Paul back in the lineup. They also have Kenneth bereaved Ryan. Yeah. And free. It's definitely added something that you're missing without Capella. But I mean, look with Chris Paul returning, obviously, he's not going to be playing at the level to be expected of Chris Paul though, he was moving a tick slower even before the injury. But he doesn't bring back. What is the achilles heel for this team defensively? They're just not a strong defensive unit. So I think with Chris Paul maybe having never missed a beat having been out there. The scores not surprising to me it's much. The same team is in reality. I mean, look everybody was worried about the usage rate for James harden its remained pretty much. Same guy's gonna go off for fifty points in this one. I don't think it's so much. What you're good to see here as opposed to what you're going to look at what the trend moving forward how bald dominant can he be? Let's not forget this team prior to a crisp poetry last season in the postseason. Maybe they were a team who was moving on and playing at the end. So Chris Paul is not a deterrent to what this team's doing. You just may see those numbers fall off a little bit those historic numbers that we see from James harden. But in terms of the formula that works for this team. It's buying an offensively not defending. And it's just a matter of Chris Paul getting into and finding that rhythm once more where the insiders on Sirius XM channel eighty ESPN radio and the ESPN app, that's Jordan, and I'm joined by Bobby as well. And you really bring up a good point. Because how long can James harden really sustain this without hurting him because I feel like Bobby so many people think that, hey, this is cute and all but the expectation is for him to do that playoffs while you're right? I think we've seen the last couple years certainly James Harden's body wear down. That was the case. Two years ago. That's you know, his USA trait. Is you know, he leaves leaves league in the in that so they're basically doing this with a patch lineup with Kenneth read and Austin rivers, guys. They added in in midseason on a buyout. And I mean, how long can you write how long can he sustain playing at between thirty seven to forty minutes consistently without a night often kind of switching gears a little bit. I think that's kind of the concern with with the people in Utah have with Donovan Mitchell. You're seeing you're seeing that you saw when Ricky Rubio and Dante Exum arou- Mitch Mitchell's usage rate was I think he was number two in the league. And. This is points went out. But that was that's a concern that, you know, y- easy ways to say that Mitchell is your point guard of the future with those two players being free agents. But that that's a concern where you know, it's good for a two to three weeks stretch. But can you do that over over six months? That's a lot to ask. This is why I love having you Bobby because we get to lean into you in your office insider cap, you know, that you wear all the time. How would you evaluate the job that Darryl? Moore has done so far because I think Austin rivers is a low key pretty solid pickup. Getting Kenneth Meritas big. I think these are small, but moves that might be better. Because now the added a little bit more depth to their post rotation or you're right. He did not wait until after the usually after the deadline. We see players bought out. And that's kind of where things get really busy. But you added you had it Austin rivers and Kenneth read both guys were buyouts, and you didn't have to give up anything to acquire. I know. Darrelle got criticized with leading Trevor REEs ago leading look by mood go, but it's always going to be about health. I always say he's kind of getting what can you get to the finish line in one piece and this team's twenty eight and twenty and in Chris Paul's been out for most of most of the season. Eric, Gordon been certainly nicked up, and you relied on your relying a lot on the minimum guys. And in the play of James harden. So I think Daryl's done, you know, he's basically putting tape around the boat. The holes are exposed when that goes into the water. Great analogy because it was like a moment where the rockets were sink or swim in it seems like they're finally swimming. Yeah. I think that's the that's the part where you're going to be critical of Daryl. I think there's an easy path to be talk about letting those guys go resign by Mouton. What are you giving up mostly there? You're giving up guys who are glue guys who are great defensively and that has been what's hurt this Houston team? And you've got two of your best defenders that moving on will. Now, you even have to spotlight even more than productivity the usage rate the ability for health to withstand for your offense and mastermind that is James harden. I think they've done more to put the pressure on him and allow for that breakdown because they got away from something that could help this team something that could kind of allow for not as much pressure to be great offensively might out. This team is considered a nosebleed defensively. Allowing those two guys I could they've stayed. I think Darryl could have done more to keep them. But I think that would have made this team different than where they sit at four four or five right now the Western Conference. I mean when you are a win now team. Then you are going to have a win. Now teams are usually really expensive. That in Golden State. You see that in Oklahoma City now, and I know bringing back would have been certainly would have added to your tax Bill. That's the cost. I mean, that's the cost of doing business in the NBA. And when you kinda take some shortcuts, then you are now faced with minimum players and going out and signing players that were bought out of their contract midseason. It's interesting though, because everyone is saying maybe like three weeks ago. Everyone was like, okay. You're honest is probably the MVP largely because he's pretty much the best player on arguably the best team because I think at one point they owned the best record in the NBA. It's sort of jostle between them and the raptors the warriors have it. Right. But now, it seems like the consensus is because what James harden is doing how hard he is going. I mean, he's living up literally to his last name. Everyone thinks James harden should be the MVP. And I think it's gonna be really interesting to see if that that's maintained when Chris Paul comes back his numbers debt. But right now. You guys agree. Bobby? Do I look at what's around him to be able to go out and put the game. You know, stretches of fifty plus point games that we've we have never seen before especially with cappella down, a you had Chris Paul down and for this team to stay relevant, and there there are relevant right now and a top five top sixteen the west because of how hard and has played. I don't know if you put Janas on this Houston team. We've been able to be and I I'm a big player. A big believer of your honest. But I don't know if he could have been able to put together games of forty five to fifty points. So I think that's kind of I think that's where I see harden right now. I mean, we still have a couple months ago, but from an MVP standpoint. Yeah. And speaking of Janas, I know the bucks are playing on ESPN right now against the thunder. And I know this under one of the better. Defensive teams in the NBA. Get a pretty good job with Ghana's, and he's still finished with way too. And we'll know seventeen almost like a twenty twenty game. But yeah, Jordan, do you? Do you agree harden is the Fred Meyer? Now, what are you talking about? We ought do. It's impressive in its own. Right. No question. But this heart and stuff, we're seeing LeBron esque. I mean, it's easy to draw that parallel in terms of it was LeBron and the regress to the Cavaliers that he took to the finals. And is this a team in Houston that can be taken to the finals? I don't believe that not with what they have right now. It'd be interesting to see what Chris Paul brains, but you are tuning in to see what James harden is going to do. He's must watch TV during this stretch in seventeen games at in these seventeen games without Chris, Paul. They were twelve at five. I mean, this was this was a favorable stretch of basketball with a team that was posted dip mightily. They're sitting at twenty eight twenty and I was tuning in to make sure I watched Houston to see this guy. Go for fifty. I've never seen a guy operating the pick and roll at Chris Paul's phenomenal the watching her James watching James the pick and roll is beautiful basketball of something that you can see I that's a hot take. We've all seen levels of basketball. Great play it at every level. But it turns. What he's doing in the league and how he operates there's no solution for it. And people don't talk enough about the willingness to pass it started to gain some some steam here, and I'm seeing people term him as a willing passer. It's what he's always been today. This has been a guy that that's what makes him so deadly respite role is if you wanna play under Kumho Bank down to three. You wanna blitz him? He'll find a.

"L all right bird box. Huge where you've seen it or not. You've seen the memes everywhere. Gernhardt talking yesterday about whether Sandra Bullock, actually sees the names you she does. Yeah. I can imagine. She has friends. I mean, I don't know if she's on social media really or not or she has may handle her own stuff. I you see friends and Hollywood sending her all these memes of these different bird box thing, if I were her I would laugh at every single one of them because they've all been fun. Well, the latest a bird box thing. It's it's gone to the NBA yesterday. The Golden State Warriors are playing the Houston Rockets in Kevin Durant. They had the replay. You'll see it even if you don't watch basketball he had both feet out of bounds. Trying to save a ball. He was out of bounds. Like, two seconds. He grabbed the ball and threw it back in bounds and the referees. Didn't they didn't call? They didn't call him out of bounce. Chris Paul Chris Paul who plays for rocket said. I guess we're doing bird box in the NBA. Now. Everywhere. But yeah, there's a bird botched challenge, which don't do, you know, where people are going out in public with the blindfolds on. "Morning. The number one hit music station one of seven five Casey L. All right, Bert box. Huge where you've seen it or not. You've seen the memes everywhere. Jared are talking yesterday about whether Sandra Bullock, actually sees the memes, and I bet you she does. Yeah. I can imagine. She has friends. I mean, she's I don't know if she's all social media, really your daughter. She has me handle her own stuff. I can see friends in Hollywood sending her all these memes of these different bird box things our her. I would laugh at every single one of them because they've all been fun. He was out of balance like two seconds. He grabbed the ball and threw it back in bounds and the referees. Didn't they didn't call didn't call him out of balance. Chris Paul Chris Paul who plays for rocket said. I guess we're doing bird box in the NBA. Now. Embolden? But yeah, there's a bird box challenge. Which don't do you know where people are going out in public with the blindfolds on. "It's different tweet when freak does his shit. That's just a guy having fun when Machado does his shows like this guy's an asshole. There's a huge difference between Machado mpc. Big big story in the NBA finally for BA guys who love writing MBA fistfight. So Rondo since best Magritte's. So this is a Lakers Greeks here on no kidding. We had the bronze Lakers burst the rockets, Ron started with Ingram, like pushing hard in which Trump white. You're white pushed him. He also let's biggest pensioning did. Yes. And then Rondo spit on Chris Paul, Chris, Paul talk shit Rondo punch him in the face LeBron played peacemaker. The whole thing is chaos. I loved it LeBron being best friends with like it, save. That's what I don't like that. That could have been like all time. Brawl people weren't like buddy buddy, rose like, so I liked about it because I know what bronze uncomfortable Rondos go rhino Rondos teammates. Yeah, everybody right. So. Right? That's the way I don't think, hey, quit saying the cagey might not like Rondo anymore. After LeBron has been doing his through the legs start. Ron. Yeah. I know. Yeah, that's my that t- the that all that's health of seems like my favorite. They would just hated everybody like Rondo was the last the last guys hate each other. I think they the chain rail on the streets still. Then they make peace? No, not really. It's fake though, but they had like a moment not to need like sit on the cagey show or some shit like that. They had some sort of like. Like. Rayle didn't go. The ceremony pierces and said he was invited. He was. It was to do anyways NBA. I mean, Chris, Paul's one of those guys is just he'll do talking to be surprised when you just get very hateful. Oh, super. Yeah. But if you spit in the face you deserve to, I don't think that's his. Like I saw the footage zoo day time zone, put it in the face, and he got Punch punch. like he pushed. So he got spit on and that is like what. Yeah, you need to throw the first. Something's bits of your face. The craziest thing to me is the suspensions. Adam silver's basically like who's the biggest we deal for stars, forget it, like it's okay. Also another guy. He like just push them. The best part was hit. He's notably found. He's like. Yeah, that was mellow to be. I also take, I want your guy's thoughts on this. I always like the Lakers and the Pacers are one of those teams where they getting scuffles and I'm just waiting. Even though it's been many years for Ron, our test to just hop off the bench and start kicking the shit out of here. You know what I mean? Like Where'd you instinctively like where's he should come and just Boston people up. I just want throw one thing you mentioned harden in this that story that, like I don't know if it's true or not, but stick my head where he paid people to beat up like Moses Malone ju. Yeah, stole ause Julie. Yeah, so that that's a really hard story for some reason. That's a story that just like appeared in the disappeared like. In court, and I don't know who won or what, but it's weird that nobody talks about that. Yeah, you agree. So we get that, oh, Peter gammons. No, got mad Cavs fan here. I I don't know what this guy. He's very funny. He's screaming at buoy because you're on the NBA..

Listen, they go to school for one semester. And then they're done. You don't have to go the second semester. Because if you know, you're gone. It doesn't matter. When that second semester starts you're eligible through March. Anyway, so you can you're basically, you know, you don't care about that second semester, you're going to bail out right after the turn arch. Anyway. Final question. If someone spits in your face, you have to fight them. Listen, you you got the right person to talk to the wrong doctor in this. I'm not the biggest Rondo fan. Never ask anybody. I lived here in Boston. I still do. And I was kind of I was guy that was always anti now anti Rondo, but I just was never the biggest right FM. 'cause he's he's pretty arrogant. And I thought he was overrated play with some great players here in Boston, obviously hall of famers, three of them and help them. But I'm not a big Chris Paul guy, either, you know, a lot of people a lot of people within the league. We'll we'll say Chris Paul in the word phony in the same sentence. So on doing Chris Paul put it put him put him in a steel cage match. I'll watch that I will watch that. I mean, I think I think Rondo probably comes out on top of that one. This say anything about LeBron his relationship with Rondo that he grabbed Chris Paul and got him out of the way. The heated loves Chris, Paul. Chris Paul will like follow the Brown anywhere. So. Weird. Yeah. It was kinda weird. Like, dude, you're gonna go put your arms around. Chris Paul went Rondos, your teammate and. I don't know. I mean, I it didn't surprise me one bit. When I saw LeBron go and try to take care of Chris Paul did like I for years have thought LeBron Andy's career playing with Chris Paul. Well, there's still time. Of course, they're running out of it. "The year but he now gets his stay in that role where if you plays great it's awesome if he doesn't people don't tend to notice i gonna take a break now coming up who's the top team in the east now that lebron went west snacks kevin durant is also stayed put with his current team he signed a two year sixty one million dollar deal to stay with the warriors the second year being a player option chris card good move for kevin durant absolutely coming off back to back mvp's in the finals yes he should stay there he's got chance to do special things and i believe from a basketball standpoint he's close as he's ever been to being the best player in the world why disrupt that and the chance to three peat with the warriors no stay there sign a short term deal it is interesting though that it was the short term deal when the wars made it clear they'd give him any deal he wanted to me it adds more credence to chris broussard said on this show last week which is the belief around the lee yes that k will finish his career somewhere other than golden state but he wasn't leaving the two time defending champs as the to la to i've amy got lot money probably got houses all over the place another player remaining put next season chris paul chris paul signed a four year contract with the rockets paint him one hundred sixty million dollars you'll once again team up with james harden to try to take down the wars which they almost did nick good move for both sides liz i think it's the move that rockets had to make you can't come that close and not run it back now my gut do i kind of believe do i really believe the closest rockets will come was up seventeen in game seven last year yeah probably but you gotta give yourself a chance to do it again and you couldn't do that without chris paul and they got him for four years instead of five which is better than a five year deal for undersize point and i think the reality is the first two years of the best two years of the deal of kogo strap like a baseball player wondering why sign this guy to this deal thirty six thirty seven thirty eight is a point guard that's tough sled but the next two years they got to land the championship for the rockets i back to the lakers now they're filling up their roster with players to go alongside lebron l a sign land stevenson and javale mcgee to one year deals you like the moves chris to move their bottom of the roster moves devel mcgee landing there for the minimum he brings them some rim protection very good in the pick and roll and also brings them some playoff experience i like lance as overall tough guy a wing defender who lebrons got a lot of respect for and i think he's making four and a half me well the keys exactly what they've agreed with him is what your taxpayer mid level exemption as so why does that matter both of these guys agreed to deal keep my they don't sign him yet because it's the moratorium they agreed to deals that if the lakers at another max guy via qui or a free agent in boogie those guys fit in you can always add minimum salaries there's bail you get one taxpayer mid level that would be land so it doesn't really type any cap space for them and their one year deals all right finally lebron is leaving the east after spending fifteen seasons there that's good news for the rest of the conference will rana's taken his teams to eight straight finals maybe someone else can have attorney case she says why didn't you but then he won every single ward under the sun nick who is the best team in the east now that lebron is the.
