Chris hemsworth announcing that they would be shooting the movie in australia next year. And this follows in the footsteps of mad. Max fury road which Shot some of the movie in australia but got held up a little bit with some weather issues when some heavy rain ended up turning one of their desert landscapes into a little bit more of a a lush green scape. They weren't so they had to move production to namibia to finish the movie instead. It's funny actually. Initially george miller said that he was planning on shooting a sequence in australia this summer in june because they wanted to take advantage of the higher tax incentives that they were offering and it was anticipated that they were going to be. Some legislation passed that would reduce the tax incentives next year. So i guess they wanted to get this big expensive sequence out of the way soon they had Had vehicles ready. And we're ready to do like stunt performer forms and stuff but now that the legislation isn't pulling back on those tax incentives they can hold off and they're waiting to shoot everything next year.

Teen Shot by Maryland State Trooper
"Washington post today filled with all of the abominations. Of the Democrat Party posing as journalism masquerading as journalism. And I got to the last page of the local news section. The Metro section the B section. If you go to the last page below the weather, and I'm not kidding, it's below the weather. Seen fatally shot by state trooper Now this is yesterday in the Washington metropolitan area, which is the You know, the rectal aperture of the news universe I think and a teenager with a replica gun was fatally shot Tuesday in a confrontation with the Maryland state trooper. State police said. The youth, identified by police as Peyton Ham, 16 years old, was shot in the Leonardtown area of ST Mary's County Police said he lived near where the incident occurred. Place that the teenager confronted a trooper with what turned out to be an air soft gun. A toy gun A, which shoots nonmetallic pellets, The Washington Post says the other non metallic because they're foam their little yellow foam balls and therefore should not your brother across the dinner table. Police said it resembled a real gun sound like Tamir Rice when to the riots begin, state police said The trooper was sent to the scene after two calls reported a male who was acting suspiciously and apparently had a gun. That's exactly what happened in the Tamir Rice case, precisely and exactly Police said A witness told them that ham the 16 year old took a shooting stance in quotation marks and was pointing his gun at the trooper before the trooper fight exactly like to memorize. Now. Here's the very important sense that this is the only sentence that matters. The Trooper and ham are both white Police said There was no indication that hands gun was not a real weapon, see how the standard has changed. Now there has to be proof that it's not a real weapon. That's the opposite of the standard that it was applied before after being wounded, and I've got to say I find this part to be a bit difficult to believe. After being wounded him. 16 year old boy with an air soft gun produced a knife, Uh, witness recounted because he's like Rambo on a suicide mission with an air soft gun and after he shot his air, soft gun laying next time he pulled out a white knife because he's with al Qaida is something I got a little trouble believing that part Ham died at the hospital, so
Trevor Lawrence Responds to Critics
"Want to transition a little bit of nfl because obviously the next big thing on the nfl draft calendar or on the sports counter really is the nfl draft. And it's kind of crazy because there are so many different narratives that are popping up mack. Jones moving updraft boards justin field potentially moving down draft boards. So narratives going on. And so what. I kinda wanna do. That was a new piece of information that came out today. That really leads to an older piece of information from earlier this week that i want your opinion on and so listen. It's draft season. You hear all sorts of crazy stuff but there was a report out a lengthy report from the athletic earlier today which which which interviewed a bunch of anonymous gm's and coaches and stuff like that and so it said in this athletic report. You told me that justin field was going to be better than trevor lawrence and five years. I would say yes that could happen. That was an anonymous. Gm told that to the athletic. And so i thought that quote was kind of interesting in the context of what happened earlier this week with trevor lawrence. I know you and chris touched on it briefly but for the audience. That hasn't fully heard the quotes. I'll read it really quick robin than i want your response but trevor lawrence of course the presumptive number pick. Since the beginning of time no one has ever debated his place as the best player in this draft. He sat down for a pretty lengthy interview with sports illustrated and he said a few different things where he said. It's hard to explain that. Because i want people to know that i'm passionate about what i do and it's really important to me but i don't have the huge chip on my shoulder that everyone's out to get me and i'm trying to prove everybody wrong. I just don't have that. I can't manufacture that. I don't want to and i think that people mistake debt for not being competitive. I think that's unhealthy to certain extent. He's talking about that chip. Just always thinking that you've got to prove somebody wrong. You've got to do more. You've got to be better

What It Means When Children Are Under Fire
"We have a full house today though. Chris ted and john can you introduce yourself. Hi everyone. i'm chris brown. I'm the president of brady and hi everybody. My name is ted bonar. I'm a clinical psychologist and the director of an family fire and then sort of our man of the hour. Is it strange when you walk into a virtual meeting space and everyone just holds your book up with notes and says okay. Let's get started on delighted. Delighted actually see it in the world. I've been living with it for the weird thing about a book. You know you finish it so long ago and then you wait and you wait and you wait and then suddenly you actually see it out there so now it's it's always a thrill to see waved around admit meetings okay. That's that's a relief. I'm glad we didn't scare you. John and would you mind telling your listeners. A little bit about yourself as well as your great buck children under fire. Sure my name is john. Woodrow cox. I'm a staff writer at the washington post. And i'm the author of children under fire in american crisis. The sort of the short summary of the book is it's meant to be really an intimate account of the way that gun. Violence devastates this country and anna anna. Also a bit of a path forward in ways that we could make some small differences to help those kids both before and after they suffer trauma from gun wiles. I think intimate is a perfect word to describe this book as you detail. The ways in which children are impacted by gun violence through stories of a handful of children. What i'm wondering is what prompted you to write. Not just about the physical effects of gun violence in what that effect is on children but the psychological ex i think that so much of the coverage around the way that kids are impacted by gun. Violence focuses on the kids who get shot. We have such a narrow focus. And this really applies. I think to adults as well. There's this really narrow focus on and that's the headlines. I mean we can look at what happened yesterday. As an example. There's a school shooting all the cable news. Networks make a calculation to say. Let's wait and see how many people died right. One person died they move on. That's not an high enough death

"They have to pick one of the not in the primary. Yeah. In the summer and one of the two. And, then they can re undeclared themselves on the way out the door as dumb. But also it gives them more flexibility than somebody who's registered as either a Republican or Democrat. So maybe these people will actually turn out and vote for nobody at the the primary. The point of the poll was to give them the date of the primary in case they didn't know about it and to introduce them to to our man nobody in fact that. was what the other questions were about the follow up questions too in three asked prior to this poll were you aware that Karen Testament would be a choice on the Republican primary ballot and then ask the same question about were you aware that nobody was going to be on the back because I was curious how many of the people that are answering this poll had ever even heard of your campaign and according to the results? The undeclared. Voters. The super majority of them had not heard of you. So about three hundred and eighteen out of four, hundred and forty one. and Karen also had a similar response to get out on the streets and shake some hands kissing babies harder to. Probably. Probably probably don't care that kissing babies with the renna rounder. Yeah. He's the Rona fear. Yeah? So it didn't do as well with the Republicans. Again, there was two lists there was twenty, five thousand names who are undeclared twenty, five, thousand Republicans of the. Twenty five thousand Republican calls that we made only. Six Hundred Ninety forces actually a greater number of them participated in the survey. It was five, hundred, twenty, five, six, ninety, four, participated Chris new dominated that poll with five, hundred and ninety, six out of the six thousand four tyrants will and nobody got fifty eight out of that. So that's about eight point three, eight, point, four percent. Choosing nobody these are registered Republicans but interestingly, and this is the most interesting part about the Republican version of this poll. Is You beat Karen? Really Yeah, yeah I saw your eyes it's his eyes went. Got Real big when I said that because can that's the reason that's a surprise is because Karen has a campaign of like a bunch of volunteers. She's got money that I saw a big Karen sign on the side of route nine. So and when we were at the the mask freedom event that happened last Saturday, she had at least three four campaign people we're wearing like imbo embossed. T shirts the name on it right so like there's some money behind this padded out flyers and stuff like that, and you heard my question, it's a fair question, right? Like we didn't tilt that question towards nobody in any way shape or form and Karen only got forty votes compared to your fifty eight votes nobody. So she didn't do we need to make a new medium where nobody is actually beating a Karen looking person. Yeah Nobody Karen and both of these survey that horse I didn't tell you. I didn't tell you how badly she did in the undeclared pull, but she only got twenty four votes compared to your one, hundred, thirty two. So I'm assuming you didn't pull any Democrats because they're usually not. Yeah. They can't vote in the Republican primary so they weren't talking to. So although if we did it earlier. Then the next time around. If we did it earlier, we might be able to because this particular to unregistered long enough to vote because this particular phase of the game of state ISM is a partisan. Correct. Okay. All right. So it, you know if if if Paul is anything to be believed. Nobody's got a serious chance to get some votes from the undeclared side of things now then again, it could have just been that they were voting for nobody and not nobody are man I mean either way that's the point of the protest vote are they not one in the same indeed does nobody not represents the proverbial nobody I? Say.

"Touch hot stove. What paint hot stove? Slate hill next stop Russ is on the fan Harris. Hey, how are you? What's up? Well, you know, what I've been thinking about this every way to Sunday about the overtime. And I tell you. I just thought about it today. I think this would eliminate one hundred percent of injury and overtime. And also think it would stop people taking a knee with thirty five thirty six thirty seven seconds left in the game. And get see a lot more excitement with the hail Mary pass at the end of the game. I was thinking that in overtime you send both your place kickers out and you start at the thirty yard line. And you haven't worked back five yards each time on a on a hit. And he keep going up to fifty yard field goals. Once you hit fifty yards. You add two yards and start going to fifty to fifty four fifty six if they both miss at a fifty six or fifty eight you start moving back in one yard intervals. It would totally eliminate any kind of discrepancy. In bad calls bad anything and we give finalisation to a game. And that's what I thought about today. I mean, I would start at the fifty myself. I would start fifty yard field goal to start because that's what they can kick. Now, especially if you're indoors. Forty five at the minimum. I would not start any shorter than forty five. And I go forty fifty fifty five sixty I don't want it to go forever. I don't want to go back and forth. I don't want it to be like a shootout at hockey. And I really don't wanna do that. Anyway. But. The point you make because I'm sure there some people go on God. That would be awful. I would hate that. What would you do about it? If they did it what did hockey fans, do they adjusted? So my point is they can do whatever they want. You know, they move this extra point to what it is. And I think it's generally accepted now that that's the way it is. And we all adjusted to it. I don't know how many people felt about it when it happened that it was the extra point was to automatic. And they needed to change it. So they did they made it a thirty three yard kick. Instead of a twenty yard kick or eighteen yard kick. And we all adjusted they made it fifteen yards longer. I just feel like it's important to understand that they'll do whatever they want which is what they're doing. Now. They're not doing what's fair. They're doing what ends the game quickest in their mind. Until they got a lot of backlash about the ridiculousness of leading a team win the toss. And then win the game with a field goal. They didn't change that rule. Then finally, they say. This is too much. We've gone too far. Let's make them score. At least a touchdown. Before we don't allow the other team to get the ball back. And still it's clearly unfair. But it's less unfair than the field goal was. But. The difficult thing about debating these things is they're going to do whatever they want and we're going to watch because that's what we do. Jimmy in. Brooklyn is next on the fan. Jimmy. Hello. Good evening. How are you, sir? Jimmy, sure yet what actually was listening to you all day long. I'm a drive and thanks for all the great information. You're saying, by the way on my Brooklyn nets fan. But today, I want to talk about the football. And you said that you hate the fact that that when once you win the acquaint does it just goes a touchdown. The opposing team has no chance to come back because again is over the over time in the playoffs. Correct. Right. Yeah. I have an idea. I really wanna make you do it that way. So if you wind up doing 'cause you go escort. Let's say you scored a touchdown. You'll get the chance to the opposing things to make a run as well. But for them to know that the win the game. They they scored a touchdown. They would have to also you'll give them the opportunity. They would have to go two point version instead of a field goal because then we'll be again, then would play more. So you you have the chance to get the ball back. So it just about six point. Then you you if you really, you know. It's not you lose the game. So yeah, I don't mind that Jimmy. I don't mind that at all. I don't mind that at all see your spent a good time, and you're ruber driver running around and getting all that money from people topnotch notch. I don't mind that I don't mind that as long as everybody touches the ball. Then you'd have to decide if you scored I whether you wanted to go for two or not knowing that if you didn't then they could just kick an extra point bay you. But if you if you went for two, then they would have to score two would if you got it, so there'd be drama, and really that's what they want. Again. We're back to our discussion last hour is an entertainment I or competition. I. And it isn't close folks. It's not close. It's entertainment. I. The three point line the D H. Almost every rule. You can think of the Chuck rule in football. They're almost all designed to get you more entertainment. Not to make the game more fair or more competitive. So that's why the debate about the shift in baseball is real and alive. No one is claiming that the shift is unfair. They're claiming it makes for a worse game. And those are two different arguments. Chris New Brunswick next on the fan at Chris. Hey, what's going on you? Tell me. I I don't understand what's really wrong with over. I think everyone's upset. That's not it. I mean. I mean, how many is the weather, of course, is in the first four weeks that if it was the chiefs defense I got the ball down the field. But I mean, I don't know how many over my head, but how many? With it. I went right down. I can't imagine. No. That's not the point. Okay. That's not the point the point is that if it.

"Was is that right? You've got them on hold. Yeah. Nice job. Let's go to Chris New Jersey wants to switch topics and talk about the jets. Why not we've only got mediums left? Go right ahead. Chris. How're you doing guys? Good. What's up? Well, the Yankees I'll I'll get to the jets one second Roger Yankees. I got old faith in the world, and Brian Cashman wherever decided that we should have you're going to get a better product than what we had last year. I believe. But in the words, the jets all this talk about signing on bell and everything. Allies mcguire. Why not give that guy to chance when I mean, I know it's small sample size. But on paper, he's advertising a yard more than Levy on bell. Why not put all your money into the office of line may just stub receiver? First off the idea is a good idea. Let's not compare statistically with on bell. Get. Get nearly Medicare's. I think that align McGuire you're going to see an awful lot here down the stretch of the season. I think the jets are doing an awful lot of evaluating the rest of this way. And something we're gonna talk a lot more about tomorrow is in regards to darnold that development has to come here. You have got to be a heck of a lot better about darnold and him playing better as the season progresses than you. Do right now. Coming back and facing a pretty if he does come back this weekend, which I think he's going to facing pretty good defense. I know. But again, it's just I'm not asking him to go out there and throw for three fifty and four touchdowns just better. Well, better what was the narrative right before he got hurt that he was regressing. You gotta see him take steps forward. Exactly. Let's go to Matt. He's in Long Island. Hey, guys, thanks for taking my call. Bowl question. I know ninety percent of what I feel like the chess aren't doing too. All right now is because the bowls. But you also think that it's kind of a leadership issue. You know, I feel a lot of young teams. And they don't have that that voice in the locker kind of strive forward. I think that's an issue. I think that what Bart was talking about the other day specifically on defense that they have a lot of young guys. And that doesn't help when it comes to communication. I think that's where the that issue might be now as far as leadership in the locker room that's hard to say. I mean, unless you're there every day, and you know, what the dynamic is that's hard to say. But here's the problem gas like Leonard Williams, even though he's a young guy should be that guy by now, what are you talking about? It's obvious that the jets are missing everything when it comes to leadership I'd be Jamal Adams. I think tries to do as best as you can. And he always plays hard. But I mean, the jets have an effort problem they ever communications. No problem. Clayborn has an effort properly mortis Claiborne is one thing. Leonard Williams might have an effort problem. Out. I I don't know about letter Williams having an effort problem. I think I don't think the jets have an effort problem because addictive played hard for Todd Bowles. I think they've got a bad bad communication issue on that side of the ball. But I'll be honest with you. I did get annoyed. The other day when Claiborne is on Eshelman early in the game on the crossing route element catches the ball and Claiborne gives up on it. And there goes up and down the field. He gave up on it Carlin. Just go back two weeks. Julian Edelman is one thing. He's amazing receiver with an incredible quarterback. Robert Foster was on the practice squad destroying Morris Claiborne in the bills just blew out the jets, that's why you should be upset about more slaves. I don't think that's an effort thing. You just think he's not good. I just think he's that good. I don't know. I also think that listen if they keep going right back after him. If the guy isn't giving the effort bowls there, he showed it. They should they should try to figure out what they have on defense. They really shut. I just don't think they have a lot of depth either. Let's go to Jordan and suffer. And hey, Jordan. Are you guys doing a big fan of the show Carlin that he thank you? Joe? I'm all for trading canot, and whoever they get with Goodall. But the part that is. Is that why would they traded for canal, and then go ahead and treat Syndergaard for guys? Like the guy on the show yesterday saying, Joey occasion and hedges. Yeah. Casey was hurt. Heavier last year. You can't trust them. Going ahead and a win. Now hedges. It's been the media's for two years roughly seventeen thirty. Yeah. He's zero at the plate. And these are guys that don't appeal to me whatsoever. And I'm sick of the notion. I feel like the Mets are always trying to take the easy way out. I mean situation. The closer. It keeps you build around that. I I honestly believe this if they make the connote trade, and they get t as they will trade. Syndergaard. I think if you ask me today is Syndergaard met next season. I say, yes, I think so too if they can get the deal done and other ancillary pieces done unless they get absolutely bowled over and have the ability to go sign Jay or somebody like that. And they fill three holes this year with the return on Syndergaard, which is not happening. Then I think there's absolutely every probability. He'll be here. I think so too Frank Bayshore. Hey, frank. Hey, guys love the show. Love the show. I'm calling. I talk Yankees really quick. I go ahead. Nineteen Yankee fans go out realizing that after week this is a form team. Everybody's hung up. We gotta keep young guys. You know what? Delenda hard because we're hoping he becomes Machado. We know what Machado is is a great teammate. He's awesome player trade in get a big name pitcher signed Corbin get Machado. Let's roll. I'm not worried that young guys. I'm worried about range baby. What do you guys think? I like the enthusiasm Frank. That's for sure. And I think that I think that if there is something to if there's something there for and do har- if there is something that's really good. And it's a picture. It's a pitcher. I think it's gonna turn Cashman said ideal. And I absolutely believe that they are in Machado hook line, and sinker because they've already tried to trade for him twice. Now. You can just sign them out. Right. I think they absolutely just wanna hear him say the right things to Hal Steinbrenner say the right things to the fan base. And I think they want him in pinstripe. Do you think that today given the opportunity Brian Cashman would trade and do har- for Corey kluber? Yes. Yes. Yes. Do you think the Indians were do that? They want outfielder south. They. Yeah. But I mean, you're talking about the guy that should have been rookie of the year. Yeah. I know I don't know what the what my point is this that that is a way to go. I don't think that they would sign Corbin as well. They would not act that Janki like from back in the day. I think they would bring in kluber trade and do har- sign Machado. I think I could. I could absolutely see that happening. If that was a real possibility if that was something that was on the table. Yeah. Something about that trade that doesn't seem like matches up. See I wouldn't want to give much more than and do hard considering what he's already done in the big lakes. I get that in his postseason record is not very good. But we all know that he has electric stuff. I just think it's interesting. We're not talking more about Chevron Bauer. I really do as far as the Indians are concerned to thirty six. I think mainstream Democrats really have to decide are they going to be represented by Hollywood liberal fringe elitists or do they want to come and work worked with folks? Trying to get things done. Try to actually move the ball forward in a constructive way. So that plays nicely. I guess for for headlines to get that fringe element excited. But as the old, man. What done he was contributed to the Washington Post, the BBC to lots of other big international media. And yes, I mean, they're all attacks on journalists, as we see now around the world Feddie regularly. There was a horrific case this week of a female journalist in Bulgaria who was killed and and sexually abused for writing corruption cases. But I think that this has really captured the minds of commentators of critics this case of Jamal Khashoggi because it was, you know, there was no precedent for a foreign journalists being killed. If that is the case inside a diplomatic mission in another country, like this. And so you know, Saudi Arabia, the relationship with Saudi Arabia has been complex. I mean, the west has turned its eyes closed its eyes to a lot of criticism about Saudi Arabia in terms of human rights abuses in terms of the war in Yemen, etc. But I think that there will be calls for a fundamental rethink of western policy towards Saudi Arabia and towards this young crown prince Mohammad bin Salman. If this is proven, he will no longer be the image of Saudi Arabia will no longer be one of reformist. He will no longer be sort of fated as somebody who is softening the steer image of Saudi Arabia. The idea is that more checkpoints will catch more drug dealers in the country illegally, man. If they catch more American drug dealers, that's a bonus in New Hampshire. Despite the political divide on immigration issues, the checkpoints are broadly accepted among state residents, at least according to a survey conducted last year by researchers at the university of New Hampshire overall seventy percent of respondents said they support the stops as a check on immigration and to investigate potential drug smuggling.
