"I read continued his Awesome writing in his return. I had said you know. Maybe he'll be a little cold. Maybe he'll you know maybe he won't be so sharp and he was just awesome on Saturday. I mean you know making moves and and writing the best horses and putting him in for the most part good spots a sham rocket. You can argue Lewis. I got the best of him in that seventh race were Venezuelan hug for Danny Argon. Just made a massive move. It was claimed for Guardian and went up and class from maiden fifty two maiden special weight and ran off and won by five on the grass like it was absolutely nothing. It was very impressive effort to to say the least legit who I thought was maybe GonNa be something at four to five. I mean he was completely done by the time they went onto the turn. It just didn't jump but pleasures other horse. Who We talked about. You know being I kind of said I WANNA came to the stakes racist. I was Kinda right. Go against a rings and Bella Fina but you know go for Dr Post and docked post. He looked be at various times. He kind of was in bad. Spots for various periods of that race the unbridled stakes American is for Marquette. Got Out to the front relentless dancer I thought would be for sure the pacesetter and was like a couple of links back in second and wasn't really hustled. It didn't look like so. That's kind of change the complexity race Amir. Kansas was able to go pretty reasonable fractions. And I thought for a split second might sneak away but attachment rate. The horse didn't like it. All for Romans came up to Dr Post and they rally together but Dr Post kind of like I said he was in a bad spot really the whole race seem like he was between horses and finally able to kind of scoot clear in the last little bit and at the very end was pulling away from attachment rate in American and so I thought a still a pretty promising effort from a horse who I think is going to be Quite good Seems to be pretty talented. And I mean he had. He had overcome some things he had to learn some lessons and he really really did it to validate again. The price was very short. Was He worth it And even money I you know. Probably not an and but as I look back I mean he Really really did some nice work in that race to To score the victory so it was a nice win in the unbridled stakes for that one global campaign taking that allowance preview. Yorktown made a huge run. Got To lead had to battle for it but they went hard early in. York in kind of put away spin off and rear four who were as early competitors but just not able to hold off global campaign. Who came with a Nice Rally for Chris? Landeros to get up for the win. I said he wouldn't be a six to one morning. Line ended up going off at five two and majestic Dunhill put in a pretty big move his first start off almost a year off but he got the pace to run into and came with a furious rally down the center of the course and pretty logical in the finale with a bit of luck beating it and analyzed with limited. One of my better tout's of our Friday show. He ended up going off at nine to two and one like a good thing. So that was good to see but Yeah Fun Fun weekend racing and obviously leading up to a very very big weekend as I mentioned earlier Matt Hegarty from. Dif going to join us. We'll talk a little bit about journalism in the world horse racing. Albdekin GONNA join us for a gambling story time. I'm excited for that one. I think I I hope it. I hope it works out in my mind. How I think it's Gonna. Cause DIG is a is. A is a good storyteller. He's had such an interesting life so Hope you guys will stay tuned for that coming up later this week as I said earlier. Maybe I'll put together a little mini Arkansas Derby Round Table for Friday. Maybe we'll do that instead of the jury I am I am GonNa do a believe in Arkansas Derby Saturday show. I gotTa admit the Saturday show from this past weekend. I guess I could put up Friday afternoon Saturday preview. I was pretty tired by the end of last week. I had talked about how my throat was bugging me and I've just been doing a lot of talk in and You know all these zoom chats were doing every night. They're telling stories for two hours. It's like it caught up to me and like Thursday night. I start looking at the Gulfstream car and I was like Nope I just WanNa turn my brain off ended up posting it a little bit later because I spent most of the morning Friday doing it but I might after Arkansas. Derby might take take a week off of doing that extra show because it was getting a little tired which I have no excuse to sit around the House all day and watch horse racing but it is what it is but looking forward to talk with Matt and with Dink and with you guys all this week you can always reach me. Jason Charles Beam at gmail.com As I said having a lot of fun to email interactions and stuff with you is always enjoy. Those appreciate everyone listening and we will see back here tomorrow..

"Six six often race number nine the sand springs flat mile for the older fillies mares on the turf the long awaited return one of my favorite horses and Training newspaper of record the two year old version of newspaper of record would crop us. This feel the three year old version of newspaper of record. Would incinerate a lot of money in this field. Who shows up tomorrow and by the way? This is the first time that newspaper of record faces. Her elders goes against phillies. And mayors tomorrow. So that's another `nother thing to take into account. I don't trust her not because of what she did last year. As much of the pace is not going to be her way in the race. Tomorrow there is another mayor in here. Who is just plain faster early on than she is. And that's number ten. Jakarta for Edgard Zayas and Mike Maker. She's been sprinting. And clearing fields sprinting. So there's no doubt in my mind that she's faster early on the newspaper of record. Newspaper of record broke her maiden sitting second but that was against maidens not against stakes phillies mayors and. We don't know what she's going to do. I think it's a spread race. At least it is on my ticket and one of the kind of screw balls that I'm going to throw in is number four smart shot for Rusty Arnold and Luca pitchy smart shot. I think is a mile type of mayor. They've been trying to mile and an eighth or last two starts and she kind of makes about a three sixteenths of a mile bid and then flattens out down the lane. At one point she was good enough to finish only a neck behind mom's on strike in the grade three mint julep at Churchill downs. So I know she has the ability to be right there with this kind of field. I think the pace is going to set up for at least somebody closing Assuming that Jakarta makes the leading newspaper record has denied the lead early on and I think smart shot is one of those who had a big price can have a say in here. It's definitely a spread race for me though in the pick six. Wow all right. I thought if newspaper of record showed up this woman's history. I think there's only one of the filling here I want. It's a foul from post to for Brendon Walsh. She won the first three starts her first restarts in the US. I think the lease really help. She mowed down a bunch of horses at Keeneland fairgrounds on a couple of occasions. Once keeneland twice the fairgrounds overcome some some wide draws last time out they took the rails down at the fairgrounds and it was nearly impossible to make up any ground. She still made this wild middle move and got just two and a half lengths in the all-star Memorial She made a big move that day tomorrow in this pace collapses she can be right there if there's paper of record shows up. I think she's going to be tough to beat. I don't one hundred percent trust or either I'll use of fellas well. They're the only two I really want here but topic's going to be newspaper of record race. Number nine goes as the sand springs race number ten we pick five starts with grade. Three Orchid Mile and three eighths so to starts right before the far turn. They'll come through the lane and then they'll go once around now the big field in here another one and I thought this was a little bit of spread but unfortunately Bobby in this field at twelve I thought it was a a chalk spread. I wanted to use the five general ruler of the six mean Mary. The seven cap the crews and the twelve elizabeth away. I guess if you if you put the gun to my head and asked for a top pick. I would make gentle ruler again. Chris Landeros hasn't had a win hoping he can break that streak with one of these horses tomorrow. General rule is the the distance philly from me. I'm using five six seven twelve. Had you see it I see it somewhat the same way? I think that they're all going to have to hope. That number six mean. Mary isn't able to get an easy lead setting a slow pace like she did. Last time out in poverty on and she Just cruised home to a wire-to-wire win by five lengths under Louise Size. Who Rides again for trainer Graham Motion? I ended up with number seven cop to crew for Todd pletcher and Joel Rosario. Just because I think that her good races maker the one to beat in here. She was actually favored in the grade. Three very the very one last time out and did not have the greatest trip in the world I think it's a race that we can kind of draw a line through. I'm hoping for a clear trip That was her first. Try by the way against stakes competition. I don't think there's any reason she can't continue to improve although she's just one for twelve lifetime which is hard to believe. You're I'm picking affiliate. Who's one for twelve in a race like this? She's been in the money seven of those twelve races so I think she's a very consistent. I think Rosario will fit her like a glove and may need a little bit of pace helped or may need to be a little bit closer early on then Flavian Pratt Hatter in the very one capt accrue not can't let mean. Mary get too far out in front. Yeah and I think she will. I think having Joel's presence will allow her to to be a bit more forwardly placed in here. She's going to be the big price of the four. And if I was playing the race individually Har- vertically if you will she'd probably be the horse that you'd be priced into betting right because general rule will be three to one zero five two two three two one. I would assume Elizabeth welby seventy two four two one cap. The crew's going to be eight to one if you can win bet she's probably one and it was really hard for me to separate those four. I JUST DIDN'T WANNA pick in other words our horse on top so I went gentle ruler. Who I think. I think it's fair to say. She's the most accomplished of this much. She's a four time stakes winner. It's just very hard for me to You know to to make assertions bet on on a on a barn or a writer in this case. Arado. That's going that's going slow right now and I'm a big Chris. Landeros fan hopefully gets a general rule tomorrow in race number ten. The grade three orchid one more before the break race. Eleven goes as the fingertip and Gulfstream. Park oaks too. Great two mile and a sixteenth. That's short finish short stretch at Gulfstream. We heard the rejoin Lake Avenue. Bet three of them in here. They're gonNA Avenue Spices. Nice was second in the voting Dale to tunnel shape. They'll be the two phillies and take the bulk of the money here. I know you have a strong opinion in this heat. Number five spices. Nice is GonNa win. That's all there is to it. I just think she's better than this field. She was three to five in the great to devote to Dell last time out off. Just a maiden win now. It was a maiden win where she won by twelve lengths and it was her debut but she was taking on a much. More experienced. Tonal is shaped that day. Who was four for four hundred Korean already? A multiple stakes winner including a graded stakes winner. So I'm I don't think that the price that the final odds were correct that day. I think there was more. Just a hype. Job Off the big maiden win for Spices. Nice but she ran well. She was only beaten a little over linked. By tonal is shaped. They were well clear of everyone else. The upside I think for Spices. Nice is so big. She's a daughter of curl out of Bernardini mayor. She's bred to run all day. She cost over a million dollars back in two thousand eighteen. I think she's going to continue to improve and I think she's going to sit justin behind. What should be a solid pace? I'm interested see who actually picks up the Mount Havi custody. Yana was supposed to rider. As of now I have not read. Who is picking up? The Mount on Spices. Nice but whoever does is very very lucky all right. I'm not as confident as you are. In fact I don't want either Philly. That's been racing. Go Free. I'm going to use them in my rainbow. Six I really liked root Lou Krezias race for on all Delacour over Tampa last time. Got The money in the. She got money in the suncoast. She stretched out nicely student off. A two-month layoff. She won the sandpiper going six. She stretched out a mile and forty yards. She was on the front end. She's one from off the pace. I'm not worried about her needing to lead. She gets Jillian. Peru. Got a great set of hands. She's been training very nicely at Tampa Bay. I'm making her the top pick. I like Lake Avenue Shipping in. I liked Lake Avenue. Getting back around the two turns not getting yourself involved in a wicked speed tool just because she went on to lead the last -sarily mean she's a speed ball. I don't know what was the speed favoring racetrack last time but I get it in. I don't Joel Rosario GonNa ride for the first time. I want those two along with spices. Nice tonal shape but lucrative is going to be the top pick number. Seven reese eleven goes as the Phasing Tipton Gulfstream Park. Okay great to one more break. Come back the pan. American the APPLETON and the great one curling Florida Derby. You're listening to the weekend stakes preview presented by Nyerere bets here on HR and.

"Obviously were Tis the law and the Carlin Florida Derby at the end of the car. I think this phillies interesting. She's a half Thailand Sky who was a useful TUR- force few years back. He was a second a bunch of graded stakes races on the turf grade. One's way to this philly kept amazing coming on the Dirk. She got beat by wicked whisper. First time out wicked whisper came back and won the grade. One present on the dirt. May Dean came back to win a stakes. White water white came back to win a stakes. These are all the phillies win against on dirt made her turf debut at Gulfstream and came rolling late to win going one thirty three and four going a mile. She gets a good setup tomorrow. She's going to be very very dangerous in a race where I think I the debt warning I rip that Morning WanNa pot all the time. I think this one's right because there are other phillies in here. That are more accomplish. That we'RE GONNA get double digits on highland glory like you. I was so impressed with the first time. I've been waiting there the two. I really want in here seducer highland glory. I couldn't really separate them or zero. Factor kicked in seducers. The topic Ray. Seven goes as the Santa Bell Island race. Eight another crapshoot Sir Shackleton Comas back. He'll meet a rider. Seven furlongs top distance to come back from such a long lay-off we're looking at over ten months since he's been on the bench. George Weavers numbers not good with runners like this the last calendar year and two months. Bobby all for twenty three horses off a six month layoff. He has two of them in here. He has a coma. He has majestic done hill. Who won his best day? I mean he's getting a ton of class relief in here as well. I thought this race was probably the toughest race on the car. Not only is it a big field but it's hard to figure out who's GonNa make the leading here. I think long shot Yorktown is the one who the most early foot and that one doesn't look like he's quite good enough to beat this field other than that. They all kind of looked like stalker. Closers in here. I love the way number. Three last judgement ran last time out. It was his first start since being gelded and his first start since the middle of June last year and he looked like a brand new animal He came back as the eight to five favorite. That day in a tough allowance race came from well out of it to win by almost three flew home that afternoon. Going six furlongs under Johnny V. Who's back aboard the Todd pletcher trainee on Saturday? I don't think seven furlongs any sort of problem and look at look at the company that this source was keeping you know running against horses like Mr Money and King for a day and maximum security in the Pegasus. So he's definitely classy enough. He's making a second start off a layoff. I'm just going with the theory that he is a better horse. Right now. Whether it's the gelding or the layoff or what and anything close to the way. He ran last time out puts him as a contender. If he improves a little bit. I think it puts them in the winter circle the one worry I have with him is the the inside draw. He dealt with the rail last time. I'll tell you right now. He was not happy about that rail drawl time now. Johnny gets an extra furlong the race under his belt and a couple of post relief in the three hole. Now that's the only thing. Great Point about the fresh gelding horse. Ram like a horse. You know you kind of have his quirks. I'm not surprised that he reacted positively to being gelded. He's one of the ones in here for sure. I hate to wake the proverbial dead. Maybe that's a bad choice of words right now but Chris. Landeros is Oh for one hundred at Gulfstream Park. I'd increases an excellent writer. I don't know what's going on right now. I think Bourbon resolution who has some good races around one turney one going a mile at Gulfstream off a similar layoff last year against much lesser company. Obviously but his his one turn races. They're good. He ran against them fast horses when he was a two year old up at Saratoga. When one turn he he ran well behind cove blue a couple years back. Churchill cove loose fasteners and he has that win at the mile. I think he makes some sense Jackson's the informed horse. He's won two of his last three wasn't going to run down extravagant kid and Lady's island in the sunshine. Millions when they blazed away from what he got the money in the world the trouble last time out he might be the one like you said not a lot of speed in here however meals been known to steal plenty of races on the front end down in Hallandale Beach Florida. I think you gotTA respect for coma and just done because of this class in here. They're the two so I'm spreading deepening. I can tell you this right now. I am very happy. This is not part of the Rainbow six tomorrow. Slight Tepid selection goes to the last judgement. One of five can win race eight. The Sir Shackleton speaking of the Rainbow Six. We'll take a break come back and we get to that sequence to I three when we return. You're listening to the weekend stakes preview presented by naira bets here on. Hr.

"Home. Free turn for home. I thought it was the smartest guy in the grandstand at Woodbine but Alaska lack she died to finish for the last wow not good <hes> but but <hes> she ran a good race that day and and I think she'll be tighter for that effort. <hes> she shortening up to a mile. She's been successful at the Mile Distance. I think there's some pace to set up that foreign you know Johnny. Velazquez is going to put her in the right spot so I put I put her on top. I think she's tough. I'm interested in Miss Munnings. I know she looks looks a little cheap on paper but she's been running grateful her last four races has been outstanding dating back to January the tenth that Gulfstream She just wanted allowance race at Belmont over Gra turf labeled good <hes> Johnny v Rotor last time Chris Landeros is GonNa Writer. I know that's not not jockey upgrade but Kris Lindahl Medeiros is a is as a final writer and <hes> certainly has shot to get the candy here and <hes> Pacific Wind is a philly that <hes> has kind of been in in an outer since <hes> Chad Brown took her over that she was a private purchase at at Keeneland <hes> I just I I think she might like the grass better her grass record is good. She started five times. She's only been out of the money once and <hes> just grasping at straws hoping to the catch a long shot in the tries. She's a daughter Kirwin which I like. She's out of a Dixieland band Mir which I really like one of the best grass horses I ever trained was out of the family of dixieland being in Mrs Farish Bread this one <hes> Her Dad bread my horse future gray so it's that same name family. It's a long time to all all the antique family like me. I gotTa tell you one thing I am. I I hope not grasping at straws because I put specifically non top him. Did you really the first time chatting around him and get the run her on the turf. <hes> you know I think when she windsor I two for Channel on the dirt the allowance keeneland and then the roughing last year you start to think she's a dirt horse right. She ran well. <hes> the roughing would probably a little bit dressed up great to highway star on the wrong end of it tech leader probably don't want to seven furlongs but then she's behind Abel Tasman she runs to Farrell and Weiss cat. She ran really well in the spinster she had that we are trip. Were divisive. Jump over the fence was making a move and jump over the offence runs well behind marlies freedom and come dancing too fast phillies in the Gulf for one second to come to midnight zoo come dancing so she's kept amazing using company on the dirt and you almost don't blame her for getting beat six seven. These villages probably not in their league and she's still running okay. I don't think I disagree with you. I think she might be he better on turf. She's a now five-year-old who gets to go to the turf for the first time in a very long time her for keep that in mind her first five career starts catch all came on the turf so they thought this Philly was turf Philly and now arguably the best her trainer in America gets his hands on and gets to run around the grass. Ask I'M GONNA try Pacific win especially if she's that eight to one price. I think there's a lot of other ways you can go. I think Stella the camelot melot makes a Lotta Sense. She was good last year in that pebbles that you heard on the rejoin last time she went seven furlongs ran out of real estate. I think she could be tough at the mile. Got stormies army's probably the class on the turf right bowl recall rushing fall rim Ska. Daddy is a legend she. That's what she's keeping company with her. One Blemish on turf came on the soft turf. They don't have to worry about that tomorrow. It's been beautiful here at Saratoga. Capital temperatures is always dangerous. Azanza Chad Brown. It's an interesting race your Philly Rock my love. I'M GONNA TRY Pacific Wind at a price. Well that's good. I I mean if you you are right and can get the perfect combination. You can get paid a lot of money in this race. I think it's wide open. I think you could make a case for a lot of horses and <hes> you just need that. Ah One two three we could just if it could.

"Last year Chris Landeros did Ryder at the beginning career her first four starts including the maiden win and in the Santa Bell Island etc over the over the course of the late winter and spring but gotta feel liking Wilkes doing what he can to help help his son-in-law hit the ground running divider by the way rider Chris Landeros. I'm glad he's here for me. I don't he's the guy that I don't get to see that much but if I I'm telling you if I saw you you know Henry goes over the winner where I was like wow who wrote that that was a great ride. It was always had I mean he's a really good writer that good well. We're we're riding him in the second <hes> with minute mouse so certainly we had on earlier talk about how it all came about with rich handling his book so you you may have to you may have to slap indie around a little bit <hes> about <hes> about Chris when you when you get a chance all right Oh yeah the uh-huh what about what are you gonNa do in the Diana where <hes> we've been taking every occasion to remind people that <hes> stake races that are valued at fifty thousand or more where people pay entry fees. They're all individual entries and <hes> that's a rule. That's been on the books a long time. There isn't some there weren't some cutic- especial accommodation made from Chad Brown <hes> th the stupidest comments on the Internet I've ever seen <hes> that <hes> you know something was done to accommodate Peter Brand and Chad Brown. It's amazing to me yet. They need a lot of help those guys so I'm sure they're pulling out all the bath for these guys. I don't know you know listen. I mean what can you say about this race. I I understand you know. Perhaps you know some of the frustration to <hes> pull up every graded stakes race on turf that we run around here and to see you know Chad with the four favorites and every race. It's it can be frustrating. I think at least in the case of Diana <hes> if you're looking for the silver lining this is an unbelievable match up between perhaps you know Chad is you know has no shortage of top top Philly American forces especially these might be the three best forces in his barn and they're all the same race and you know you get to decide between the three of them. I didn't think it was that easy. I ultimately decided that I will try to beat sister Charlie. I know that she can win. <hes> off the layoff <hes> against to really sharp I will try to beat her. <hes> and just you know see what she does and here and so I you know sort of narrowed it down to between rushing for who I will admit that you know I've just been I've been wrong about her not that. I didn't like her but I I always felt like maybe she was vulnerable and some of her races and the more I watch runs the I mean I mean how does she she she she should be undefeated right now. The only loss that Edgewood last year was her with the trip that you can't believe he always won that race considering how he ran. I visited the trips you got. I mean you look at her last three races yeah she's loose on the lead. You know these really soft trips and winning but she doesn't need that trip to win. She winds from off the pace went from stalking. The taste went from on the lead from any distance. She's just a really good wars. I'm not against it but I have I will say I picked homeric on top. I have been really impressed with her.

"I've got him last time and I just thought he got a great trip in that race and won and so I just didn't didn't really want to go back to them and this raised. I actually think he won a great to last time I think he's in a tougher race today. In a great three then he was last time but that doesn't mean he can't win. He's an improving four year old. <hes> you know he takes another step forward. He's going to be right there. That's the forbidden apple the grade three today and a mile on the inner. It's a good one. Let's turn our attention to Saturday Mike Beer with us and Mike. You're going to be ahead of me because as usual when this meat especially this year is the kind of caught up on us and I was on vacation last week so I will have to handicap the Saturday card myself <hes> tomorrow and give us a couple of highlights of tomorrow and what do you know who you know. You're betting <hes> who I know. I'm betting I'm GonNa you know let's say the Horse <hes> I'll start with the divorce that I made my best bet and and the form if I can find the race I've looked at so many races in the last four days that I can't remember who's running on which day I like in the fifth race speaking Marquette dialyzers worse and it's a it's a one x allowance turf sprint <hes> <hes> <hes> and it's it's one of those races you know you'll love it. Saratoga springs a lot of different horses together from all over the place in Wesley Ward has who just one very easily churchill at five furlongs with an eighty four <hes> you know I expect torch expect speed out of that horse but I feel like this is a pretty tough race. What I liked about this raise more than anything else is that <hes> Chad has the import turf war coming in from France <hes> horse who burned a ton of cash over there and we'll probably get bad again in this race and I just don't know that this is actually landed in the easiest one x allowance race? I'm so I just sort of wanted to be against that horse. I thought I'll have the cash is interesting but he's entered <hes> in the four hundred in the coronation hop on Sunday so I I think she's probably going on there and catch a thrill for Cassie to me. Just makes a lot of sex. This was ran really really well breaking her maiden first time out you know just you don't often see the Kinda ride. She got not for a long-term spent time out but Julian wrote her very confidently in that race. He just took her back off the pace. He stayed on the outside the entire way and she really ran through the stretch to close that race down. I thought she ran just as well our second start. They ran on a stakes race <hes>. She got wired that day but she was running at the end. I really liked her first to start Steve and they stretched her out. I get they started out in the Appalachian off turf and he put her on leave that day. It didn't work out. I don't care about that race off a little way off your sprint into gun on turf. That should be closer to from <hes> by tomorrow. You would hope and I think she's in a really good spot in this race. I liked her and originator. Were the two best in that race. I was a fan of originator last year and I feel like she's better than you know. She may look on paper. You see a bunch the second five second place finishes but she's had excuses for some of those rates. I think he's GonNa run better off to lay off. Well and I also imagine that considering that Jose Ortiz <hes> rotor last year Chris Landeros did Ryder at the beginning career her first four starts including the maiden win and in the Santa Bell Island etc.

"Is even funny. You say that my dot Chris Landeros. He's a lot nicer than I was. When I was riding? He's got a great personality personality. He's pleasant. He's excited to be here. <hes> and you know I think I'm lucky that he's my first foray into this. That's a that's a nice way to to to frame met and what what. How did this even come about? Well you know I wrote with Chris <hes> in California right after he lost the bug and I was very impressed. I was always impressed with his writing. I sit in this kid can really right and he wasn't writing a lot of life forces <hes> and then my son Joey and he became friends <hes> and they were kind of running around together at del Mar.. They're just a few years apart and <hes> so I got to know him a little bit more because of his friendship with my son and and I've Kinda kept an eye on him over the years you know watching him develop and he's really developed <hes> any and he's got a great finish really can finish on a horse and the qualities that I like in a writer and when he got a Derby Mount this year <hes> I wanted to call and wish him luck and congratulate him on having a Kentucky Derby Mount and and it Kinda just throughout the idea. I said you know at some point you're going to have to you know try. Saratoga Try New York I. Many had great Gulfstream this past winter so competing with the guys he he compete with here and <hes> I said if you ever want to do that I would be interested in working with the and and helping you if I can and and he called me a few weeks ago and said. Did you know I wanna do this and if I do this I want you because you know everybody there and I'm so we decided to give it a try. How about that and certainly for for Chris and from a family standpoint endpoint and Tracy Wilkes here and of course <hes> married to their daughter and the with the kids and it's a it's a great scenario for for them all to be together and you say how impressed you've been with Chris all through the winter I kept you know I would look up and I'd watch a race from from south Florida and there he was and I agree I mean there there was lots of like and <hes> so when you Benji Hernandez was GonNa ride for us today and when Veggie couldn't get out of his call for Saturday for minute mouse and I'm sure glad we did this rich because we the race came off the turf anyway so mouse was GONNA would've scratched off the turf and it occurred to me Gary said what do you want to do and I said <hes>? Let's reach for Landeros. Well listen. We appreciate it. I'm have gotten a lot of good response. Eve <hes> obviously we kinda jump into this a little bit late like <hes> you know. Ideally we would have made decision a few weeks earlier and I would add an opportunity to kind of build for the the <hes> you know first week and the first book I should say but no we wound up on five tomorrow obviously three for his father in law and and some very live voices and it's <hes> <hes> you know I'm hopeful that we get off the mark there and <hes> four on Sunday and this morning I got a bunch of calls and <hes> like John Kimmel and I obviously a friend John in Rhode Chris I'm in Florida and he likes him so it worked in a couple of two year olds for John American Pharaoh Philly and <hes> a few others that he kind of picked out for us so it's GonNa be I think a little bit slow at the beginning again because we're jumped into this hour later then and with what's ideal but I already see a lot of movement <hes> people giving me a good response.

It doesn't resolve obviously the long term situation for Holland door for drew quo. I've been in contact with withdrew probably next week. We'll have more and from a legal standpoint certainly Jerry Holland or for I didn't he certainly didn't want to get pugilist in terms of legalities but he's GonNa have to because this is just it's just as Dave Brennan said yesterday it's it's just an insult and it's <music> outrage then just arbitrary capricious in any other you know want and description of inappropriate administration just lead J. "He was the triple crown nominee as you mentioned. He's run against the top competition. He's got Johnny v and the key is Todd Pletcher. I mean, he sends us horses out fit, regardless of the lay offs. These thirty percent winners, ninety plus days away. Most people aren't thirty percent winners doing anything. So I I couldn't get past him. I mean he looks like the absolute horse to beat. He's got the best pace speed figures his came at two or some of these other horses have been running at three. So he he's, he's far and away the best horse. I thought try for gold. He ran second to always mining last time, I think that's a feather in his cap, even though he got beat eleven links. He he's got talent. He seems like he's coming into the race. In good shape. Nice blow out at fair hill. Forty-two so those are the two that I, I like the best. Yeah. I couldn't give king for a day. I love his maiden win. I thought he ran giant cage AC. I think you'll be a nice second after year old on looking forward to seeing looking for a day, doesn't really don't have much to add to what you said. I thought those chances could be a coal three four. But if you play in the early, exotics multi races, I thinking for a day is certainly a very heavy lean. I like him a lot race. Number three goes as the sir Barton race five three roles. Take the turf the James w Murphy. Is that a flat mile Ishita win this a few years back field of ten and he, I don't know if we have a your sheet any of this year, but we have a real wide open well-matched Rupa ten, it's good race. I think there are several horses that could win my top. Pick is English. Be got a huge turf igure semi twenty-second at gallstones. Park of been been running. Well had kind of harness horse trip last time gotten a bad spot. Got shuffled back, Chris. Landeros. I guess he got fired after that race, is Jose. Our tease is writing today. I mean he's he's got the numbers. He's, he's got the quality. I think he's going to be tough to be real news. Very talented horse, making his to turn debut for Allsteel Al sixteen percent when he stretches out this horse broke his maiden first time out at fairgrounds came back and won again Lance race ran last time against bulletin, who was so impressive winning the stakes opening day, Keeneland, this horse was second senio, who was third, and the racist, come back to run. Well since didn't win, but I believe ran third in stakes. So I think he's got a big shot. The six is a war film or films declaration of war out of a diner, former mayor absolutely screaming turf ran a good race last time in a really good America..

"Think turfs to be dicey tomorrow here. It's one of those situations where there's some big storms. I don't know if you saw any of the stuff that was happening in Houston, Houston, basically underwater, a lot of that traveled through New Orleans and is headed on a direct path to Kentucky. So I I would say at the best. It's fifty fifty this race remains on the grass. I mean, it's a stakes, but it's not a great steaks. And they really. Don't like to run turf sprints on on. Kind of soupy style, turf course. So I would imagine that that if it rains much as they say, it's gonna rain can come off. But you know, I I I used I used five horses in here in probably most of them won't even run. The Billy intrigues me. The most is Queen of Bermuda Graham, motions, Philly, you know, she's run on on soft in Europe and heavy and she won on a heavy. She's finished second on a soft a couple times in one on the soft. I mean, if they do run it there's going to be a lot of giving the ground at your man, Chris Landeros yet in the board. I think that's a big plus for her. She's by exceeding excel. And she got one of seven time form rating pretty pretty good. Yeah. She was not good in the misdirection here at acworth. Back in April. She has she was sixty five and she just did not fire. And there was some some wisher in that ground. That was the I call the finale that day in the fog there was moisture around all day. I know she I, you know, I just I didn't like that effort and just I just didn't like it. And she remount from that was a I in a while. So she can certainly rebound. I thought it was a a wide open race. You know? Catherine the great she doesn't really have a lot of turf pedigree. On paper. More Cassie can see the same thing. We can see yet. He's running on earth. First time back that was a curious move. Meant she'd be tough comes off though on this. If it's a wet mean track because she's run well and in the slop in the past one well on fasttrack as well. So if it comes off, she'll be tough. Absolutely. It'll be tough on anything as well faster faster, wet turf dry. I mean, she'd be you know, she'd be the goods as well. So you know, it's a little bit of a safe kind of play. But I think if you can focus on maybe seven and nine and throw in Jude's pick the eleven Queen of a Muda give the benefit of the doubt. Off the five and a half months last time out. I thought as three year old maybe, you know, maybe she wakes up a little bit. And you know, we see a lot too. And perhaps no better example than Sarah Getty, empress, you out an obvious used pleading, but certainly the empress's one to five and then the next time she runs she wins the oaks at thirteen to one I many times we see these horses blow up short prices, and then come back and pay double digits that total happen Bunin marchers wind chill bay anywhere from twelve to twenty dollars. I would think in this race, right? Yeah. Looks to me like they sent her last time. You know, I know it was foggy and stuff too. So, but it looks to me like like she was ridden really aggressively. And I think she might be better in making.

"She has a grade one win at this one one turn mile. She did it in the present at dome on park. Boy. I know it's the lay off and everything. But if there ever looked to be a free, bingo where it looks like her name Jay walk tomorrow. Yeah. Well, I mean, she's the best filly by a block need to even be a handicapper to see that. And when you look at the competition, you'll get a horse like cookie to who who's last two victories were pretty nice, but they were against St. Brett's. There were Florida bred races. You know that that's they will five months ago. This is a huge step up. Yeah. Plus they were five months ago, and then the horse. I thought was interesting like if you were going to play an exact, and I don't even know what the exact we're gonna pay anything. I gotta think jaywalks going to be one to five or one to nine. I mean, you know, champagne anyone I thought was interesting. She came off a layoff. We all know, Ian, Wilkes likes racist horses into shape. He's not the greatest. Layoff trainer. Not the greatest first time starter trainer. Although I think he's a great trainer in general forward. The forward. Gal. She she'd come off that long way. From November the twenty fourth February Guepy three quarters of a length and closed the tiny ground in the stretch. I mean, she was dead fit for that race that was seventy eight this is a mile. I think she can move forward off that race. She worked not on my birthday February nineteenth minute in four fifths. I think that indicates she came out of her comeback race good. I think she could be second. And I think she might be a price 'cause Chris Landeros ride near there's not a lot of hype. There. You know what I'm saying? I think it's a cold one five like you, do I think she's got to pick up the pieces. I think she's known. They try to golden Roger was against the was trying to she was trying to chase. You ran pretty good. She was trying to make up ground on a day where speed raids prrime. Yeah. I like everything about it. I love the seven eighths race to the flat mile gets a month between races. She really stuff the per game last time too. She's got that pedigree where she's got the pedigree where they can't right? They don't write them long enough. So the fact that she ran as well, she did go on seven inch broken seventy three and well last time in the forward gal of age, and look she ran into a real Philly Chad Brown's feedback. She was off that race off one win at Saratoga debut. When it's our toga last summer, and you know, she's the goods, I know she didn't come back. It was a little slow people. Once you try when areas of a seven-month layoff going seven FRANZ tell me how easy it is. And yeah, so I think it's a cold one five to jaywalk walk over champagne anyone in race twelve the great Vontobel. All right. We'll take a break. One more break when we come back. "We're back in the ruses. Twenty-five into our three it's fast moving Monday. But we expected that after the big weekend and part of the big weekend included, the priante win by an I I'm going to assume I'm saying it right C K 's Boina Graham motion, this Argentinian mayor has really done very little wrong since coming to the United States. She's a six year old. And boy, I thought she was dynamite winning the mile and a half event. Congratulations. Thanks for having been not at all. And you know, she came to the US. She ran a very deceptive fourth in the Long Island that you know, if things had gone a little differently. She could have won at sixty to one then came back and was great in the via Borges back before the new year. Now, she's a great at stake winner in North America. What's going on here? When I read her in the Long Island. I wasn't sure exactly what expect. But she hit improved kind of with every week. I had an every breeze that she did. So I was starting to get a little bit excited about the full the Long Island. I think she probably surprised Reggie a little bit how well she finished. He jumped off, and he was, you know, very excited about with with the way she finished up, and she's just been a progression from there. She's just handled everything about to do. We'll get into some more detail. But how did how did she even come to you? Pretty Chris actually a bit of a long story probably than like go onto on here. But I was connected with an agent from South America. Who would ask me to take this silly for these Japanese client? And. That's that's all it takes. So she. Flew flew over what I mean. It's kind of a bizarre story. But it just goes to show in this game. You never know whether next good one coming from. Well, it's especially the case. You know, it's one thing when we look at these South American race courses, and you see certain places, and you see certain, you know, anytime you see GRANDE Premio and so forth. You you know, what you're looking at. And you can also tell by the dollar amounts. She she was not winning big races down there. I mean, it it's that's what's so impressive. That you know, she could come seemingly, you know, from a b circuit or even a cease circuit and be this good. Sure, I think in fairness Nelson who found the Philly. He's he's very sure he's based down there in South America. And he you know, he's obviously dealt with these times before and he he's got a very good handle on the them. Some puts in there where these hosting coming from and sort of what they've what they've been doing. And he he had a very good handle on it and picked out of nights filling. Fake tonight money. I don't think. Well, there you go as she writes. As the game becomes more and more internationally so hard to find good horses at at a sensible price when the only started racing. Well, yeah, what you've got what you've got Peter Brant got Peter Brant and buzzed Schwartz and solid and. You got all these guys out that are poaching. That are that are, you know, they're finding they're finding them under every rock and nook and cranny. The world become much smaller. That's for sure. Well, sit K as Boina she wins down in. I try Gulfstream and you put Chris Landeros on and we've been talking about Chris extensively not just because of our faction for Tracy Wilkes. And the fact that he's their son in law. But the fact that he has really elevated his game Graham and he's getting into Barnes like yours. He put it terrific ride on her not just in the bore Geza. But on Saturday. Yeah. I mean, I've been impressed with Chris. I hadn't written him a lot. I was always aware of him. "So it's it's just making the the quality of the players in the contests and the ability that they now have to make a variety of wagers across. Multiple different pools is really making this whole thing a lot more difficult. And I think you saw that by the way, everybody kind of came together in the in the Pegasus, and you had three people who were nowhere near the lead going into it ended up one two three. Well, we'll get to that too. Because president says and what we get Preston. Most likely tomorrow he hits with a fourteen hundred dollar try and the decision. Considering what we talked about on Friday, the decision to focus on city of light and an accelerator. I mean that that only was amplified as the day was going on. I mean, it it it became fairly obvious that city of light would probably have a tactical advantage given his running style and given the racetrack. And certainly that's the way president SIMS bet it, you know, he keyed he ended up keying city light I and back keying accelerate third with four horses in between. So basically, he had a fifty six hundred dollar play with the, you know, a single four single and that hits, and it ends up, you know, paying over hundred dollars for each dollar so one hundred and forty seven thousand back and that that takes him from from. He must have had about ten thousand or or give or take final totals ten thousand. Left. So he must have had about sixteen thousand going into the finale, and, you know, ends up with a hundred fifty seven thousand total you mentioned the. Attic sense breaking lucky race with the seventy two one fellowship third. And so the try their pays two hundred and twenty five dollars basically for a buck in between though, the the privy aunt and this ended up being I thought a maddening result because CK as we're going to talk to Graham motion next she was my fourth horse. I ended up leaving her off the pick for play as she was a C in the pick four and I end up with nothing out of that middle pick four Santa Monica rallies. Looks like she's gonna win. And then here came Chris Landeros who's writing tremendous Semper sententious ran a very nice race to be third in here. And then you have the fifty to one shot we don't play super in this. But the fifty to one shot basically gets bobbed God knows what the what the contest what happens that the contest. If that AA is Hulas arch wins that. Autograph? True. Yeah. No, you there was a lot of very ability there. And you know, I think there was some movement on the board after that, obviously amid price winner is always gonna gonna help out quite a few people. So yeah, I mean, we were we were pretty touching go race to race that you know, that whole afternoon, given the bridges sort of waiting for somebody to to really burst clear, and it wasn't until the Pegasus turf that that patching forte made his move. So I it's it anytime you have that kind of of bankroll power and that many people taking shots at pretty competitive races. You know, there's gonna be there's gonna be a big move somewhere. Let's pause on the contests. The discussion to talk about the late pick four and the way you constructed the ticket. And clearly this thing ended up being very full. But the play gets hit three times. Dick, grabbing dick grabbing the other call which is fine. We we got you know, this is this is not his only job. So we'll wait till he comes back, but a reminder that pull that up actually. Steve I got a couple minutes. All right. Let's let's quickly. That's all right..
