"This is WTO P. Today's top news traffic and weather, the WTO producers desk. His wired by IBW local 26, where electrical contractors come to grow. Good morning and Bruce Allen. And I'm Joan Jones, teddy gellman is our producer and the top story we're following today's the first court appearance for former loudoun county superintendent Scott ziegler and school system spokesman Wayne bayard. They were indicted by the special grand jury looking into that school system's handling of two sexual assaults by the same student. And now the family of one of those students is speaking out. In the months after the first assault at stone bridge high school, the family of the second victim agrees with the conclusion of the special grand jury that the second assault could have and should have been prevented. The lawyer for the family says multiple red flags were raised and ignored before the girl was pulled into an empty room at broad run high school and sexually assaulted. The family says in the 14 months since then, nobody from the school board LCPs administration or the girls high school has reached out to apologize, offers support or even see how she's doing. Neil Logan stains. Montgomery county public schools is preparing to launch a mobile app called MCP student strong. The app will give students the ability to report incidents of bullying, harassment, and intimidation to the office of student welfare and compliance by filing a form within the app. Chris Kramer, who heads MCP as his department of communications, says the app was actually designed by students. It's very near, ready to be published. We met with the students who are now graduates from Blair high school and often in college. But they designed this. We didn't do that. We helped them with the editorial content The new app comes just months after a county wide antiracist system audit found reports of race based bullying and discrimination throughout the school system. "Painter was tough, but as the time went on, he eased up on the three and a half hour three hour deals. I just remember going and literally, rob, I'm like, can we be done? Like, at some point, and I can only imagine what you were thinking. It's a player because I went to, you know, a couple of year maybe, and I'm like, really? Like, we're gonna keep and then I go, 'cause a lot of times I go for Purdue to butler. And literally I go, CEOs, three and a half hours or three plus hours, and then you go to butler and I'm not kidding, you know how long Brad Stevens is practices who are at butler? How long? An hour and 15. That's insane. You know, though, I will say, coach paint was trying to build a program. And a culture. And you know, I think when you look at that when these coaches are first starting out, like all the guys that we just graded, you were trying to hold on to your job for as long as you possibly can. So I understand why it's like, dude, if we're not practicing for the full allotment, we're not getting any better. And we had a young team and I think there's a lot of guys that look at that. Now, the game is also the transfer portal makes it a different animal. There'd be guys be like, I'm not practicing for three hours. Hey, before we go, and I want we'll do our quick final four and national championship predictions before we go and then we'll do it again next week with national championship prediction. Can you tell the story of when you thought paint might be going to Missouri? Do you remember that vividly? Yeah. I had a final, I had an econ final. This class was so freaking hard. It was one of those business classes. And I hate econ. So I actually asked if I was such a disaster that I asked the professor if I could have the final a couple of days later, because I was scrub on. Really? Sort of guy did. I was like, I can not take this test. I'm a mess. I met my name. I don't know if that's, but he was really understanding like, I got you, that's fine. So I called coach painter at least every other day. Maybe more. And I was just, I was like, I've already had to stick around in each one Morris gone. Juan Johnson is gone. You know, Keaton grant's gone. Chris Kramer's gone. I have no idea if these phone calls affected his decision..

Brooks shields, blasted Barbara Walters over what she called a criminal interview that took place in 1981, so we're looking back now and all these interviews, all these interactions and saying that they really appropriate or were they not appropriate? So what do you think about this was Brooke right or was she wrong? She was only 15 years old when Barbara asked some really sexual questions hey let's have a look. 74% think Brooke is right. Yeah, I mean, we're looking back at this through a different lens. So of course, you know, we're all horrified. But let's not forget how Diane soar treated Britney Spears, how Matt Lauer treated Britney Spears. It would ask them horrible questions. A lot has changed since this time. But yeah, I mean, Barbara can't defend herself, of course, about this story, but I think we can all recognize that we wouldn't do this today. Right. Absolutely. Hey, don't forget to vote on today's poll, go to our Twitter page at naughty nice rub, or our Facebook page, which is an audio y'all here. And we see you to check back tomorrow to hear your results and while you're checking back tomorrow if you're in the New York City area tomorrow at 9 a.m. I'm co hosting good day New York, I know. I asked if I could go on as a guest mark to plug my book. New year's new year's is a big market for self help books because you want to change your life in new years. So my books are all about that. I've been pitching myself around to get back on TV and I pitched it to good day to New York and they were like, don't come on to picture book, you can do that. But come on and host the whole hour. Exciting. Wow. 9 o'clock tomorrow. I'm really, really intimate and let's do a nice of the day. Oh. He is no stranger to our list rob, our nicest of the day, it's Ryan Reynolds. So hot. And funny and funny. Okay, so he made it to our list this week because he is setting the record straight about why he's decided to put a pause on his acting career and it's for a very good reason. It's to spend more time with his kids. He said, I don't want to miss this time with my kids. When I'm shooting a film, often times on the Europe, I'm away. These are incredible long hours. There's a constant kind of requirement to be there the whole time. Not just because I'm performing, but I'm also generally producing and writing on my own movies as well. Rob, what do you think? I think it's just even nicer than I thought. I've met him once. Very good-looking too skinny for me in person Mark. Isn't that what he's doing? He's just so thin. On TV on film, he looks amazing and he is amazing, but in person it is true what they say the camera does add ten pounds or so. In person it's almost like painfully skinny. Have you met him, Mark? I have never met him or seen him. I heard he's very nice in the car. Very nice people sat in the color. Listen to me giving my own records advice. Who do I think I am? Okay, let's do an audience today. Fired CNN anchor Chris Kramer reportedly will not get any severance, so Chris has been fired from CNN and Jeff's hooker who's the big boss over at CNN. Made an announcement to the staff in a meeting, saying that he will not receive severance, we forget that all these employees at CNN, particularly the ones on camera, they all have a morality clause in their contract, and if you do something that breaks that clause, it is over, so I think Chris has a three or four year deal $6 million a year. So there's a few years left on that deal. He wants his 6, 12, $18 million. However, they're saying not a chance. Do you think you'll get any I don't. I think it's over. I don't think he will, but now I'm wondering rob do any of the hosts on this show have a morality class because if they do, I'm in a lot of trouble. I'm gonna send my lawyer a note right now. Let's end with a moment of rubbing in a rum. You get a rub best new year's resolution you're ever gonna give yourself is forgiveness. Oh. Change your relationship with the past and you're gonna change your relationship with the future, a bright tomorrow means you've got a deal with the dark wounds of yesterday when you no longer love your past. You no longer loathe your future. In fact, the only thing about past is good for is having a great tomorrow. Forgiveness. Think about that when you make your New Year's Eve resolution don't vow to lose ten pounds. Don't vow to take the trash out on time. Don't buy for that silly stuff. To forgive yourself. If I can see you think and I mean, the most immediate thing I can forgive myself for is eating that chicken parm last night. But to your point, I have bigger and better things to think about. So let me do that. I'm gonna meditate on that. Think about that. Hey, that's it for today. Thank you so much for listening to the nominees with rubber Mark show our production of iho radio. "He just came in with the mentality that, you know, I'm a keep working hard and I'm approved myself when I step on that court. And that's what he's been doing. All year long, you know, I seen him, you know, my freshman year coming out I knew he was gonna be really good and you know he's just dominant. He's just he's hard to stop and you know, he comes in. I shoot at every practice and I see him, you know, on the other floor. You know, dawn is work. So, you know, I believe is that, you know, a lot and it's just a testament to how much work he's put in over the years. I want to see him. I know he told me he played baseball growing up. Imagine him baring down on you. It's 7 four off the mound. What that would look like? That's pretty interesting. Thank you. But taller. It's crazy. The thing that honestly, the thing that blows me away about him the most is watching him shoot free throws because I've never seen a 7 footer that shooting free throws. It's like most guys are gonna get hacked, you know, Jack and you go down the line, most big guys. And with him, you can't, you can't do that. He's one of your best resources. He's got great touch. He's got big hands, like, great, great touch on his shot, man. He's darling. Why are you guys the best team in the country? We just got so many pieces. It's hard to stop when you have a great team with great pieces and that all play together all in as a team man. You know, it's just a hard team to stop when you have that type of time on the team and you mean you stop one, you still got to you still got Brandon Newman and you still got, you know, Zach Edie, you still got trivial Williams. You still got junior, you know? And Sasha, you know, the best shooter nation. So, you know, I just think we just got too many pieces and everyone just in together. You know, we just play for one another. All right, hey, the last thing before we go, I just want to get a little feedback from you Jayden on a list I put together, it doesn't include active players. So you're not eligible for this, but I don't know if you can see it well. This is my all time perdue playlist and obviously Rick mount number one. I don't know if you guys can see this. I'll try to get a little closer for you. Rick mounts one, the big dog obviously to Joe Barry Carroll's three. E to a more 7 Chris Kramer ten Brad Miller, I think I got him at like 15 or something. And I do have homo at 50, just so you know I got him in there. I put him in a 50. He's in there right ahead of sandy marcius, right ahead of sandy. So any issue with any of those kids, I think rap probably got to get up there, man. Yeah. Thanks, Jane. Hey, Justin. Rob we got to be out there. It doesn't matter. Did you say rob? So do you not in my 5000 of my college basketball rankings? So it doesn't matter. Rob's, I think rob's maybe four. I'm gonna put Robin for behind Joe Barry Carroll. That's where I'm putting it. Number four all time perdue. Listen, Jaden, you have a chance to the craziest part and Robbie said this and I don't know if you've asked this, but rob said is last week. He said, you might be the most talented player to come through West Lafayette since the big dog, since Glenn Robinson, which is a long time ago. I mean, to hear that from somebody like Robbie helm, one of the all time greats to come through perdue. What does that mean to you? I just said again, it's a blessing, man. Blessing from God. You know, I'm just thinking that, you know, I'm just in this position. You know, with a great team, you know, with great coaches and coach painter, and you know his staff, and thankful to just being this position, I can only thank God for real. And you know, I'm just going to keep going and, you know, day by day, just take a step by step, and just keep going. Before you go, I just want you to know, man. I talked to a lot of guys that I played with and played it Purdue and everybody is so proud of your guys group, man. Fun to watch you guys, you're unselfish. Good luck the rest of the year, man. It's been awesome to watch you guys. Thank you so much for having to appreciate that. Thanks, Jane. You're catching up again, man. And keep making your teammates better. Like I said to you, you know? That makes life easier for you at the end of the game because honestly, you're gonna get uncontested threes. You're gonna have more space to work with. You know all that you get to the best bigs in the country. So do what you've been doing. I've got number one, but you've got to take care of business later this week. Yes, sir. I appreciate that. Thanks again. See you guys. Thanks Jay, appreciate man. Good luck, dude. Fun watching you guys. Thank you. These days, small business owners are busier than ever. Terms and conditions applause. Produce star Jaden ivy, sophomore guard rob. He has been electric. And he is electric. Like, that's the one thing to me that Purdue has that you can look around at those other top teams, right? Gonzaga, they've got drew Timmy. They've got homegrown. They got some good guards, nem hard. Duke, they got Paulo, they got Mark Williams. You know, maybe Trevor kills, but he settled down a little bit. What perdue has is something that nobody else has, which is you can put the ball on his hands, Jay and I be in sick, go make a play, period. Well, I thought against good saga, duke did have that. I thought they lived in the pain, but it was a different story against the hotel state. You're totally right. Jay ivy, his decision making and transition is as good as anybody in the country. And he's in the lead athlete is vertical as how many guys not just at perdue but in college basketball have wind milled in game. I mean, that list is like Sean Kemp and I mean guys like that. He's on that. He is going off one leg this year and I mean, that's just there's not many guys that have that type of bounce and ability. He's phenomenal. I think he's he's got a great team, Purdue has a great team, but he is an elite player. He's going to make so much money play. It's just crazy. So they've shot the hell out of the ball, too, and that was our big question mark probably going into the year a little bit. They hadn't shot it well. And I think they underachieved last year. Sasha is a good shooter. Isaiah Thompson is a good shooter, didn't get a ton of minutes, but it seems like he's kind of beating out Eric hunter at that starting point guard, Jay navy shooting in the 40s. You said earlier he's 27 last year. Brandon Newman, we knew could shoot about windy and of course he can. But yeah, they have a good shooting team. I was surprised at how they shot it last year. I think coach painter was too..
