"Keeping five. And i think we probably had the same five. Nothing's really changed since we did our early projections. I had them keeping their top. Four are kenneth. Murray kaiser white drew tranquil and nick neiman uneven has been really really good in the preseason had some pre ugliness tackles last night had an issue with some some change of direction and got beat for touchdown. Run at one point but led the team in tackles. I think in the preseason had a sack last night very very effective on special teams. He's a guy who has done everything in his power earn a roster spot and i think he sticks I think there might be some discussion. About keeping christianson over the person i'm keeping. Which is i'm on a nigga job the pronunciation but i think they they wind up keeping almond based on a quote the shared with me from vance daily. I don't know if you have that handy and you to read it but yeah yeah he said let's see you got to hear so so bog amiga was pushing to play yet last night. He got hurt. After three snaps against forty niners was taken out. He was pushing a play last night and staley told him that almond did enough in training camp to get a full evaluation and then he added one. Preseason game isn't going to make a difference in your evaluation. They also told them something along the lines of like we know how we feel about you and right. You're game isn't going to change that right. So i think his special teams value wins out And i think they they may be a little more upside him than they do and co christianson. And you need guys like a nigga to win these last roster spots guys who can contribute on special teams guys who are fighting in begging to get on the field with a spring day see joint guys who just scratch and claw and worked earn everything they get at every level. They play out. You want those guys on the back on the roster has they keep the guys in the middle of the roster looking over their shoulder And they become leaders eventually so i think they wind up keeping on nigga overcoat christianson so my five linebackers are murray white tranquil neiman. Who i was even more impressed with in the preseason. I thought i would be an almond Neaga yeah yeah. No i mean obviously murray tranquil white are rotating starter but to your point man. I mean he was just getting more and more impressive important wraps looking even more impressive as as the training camp was going along and he was just a tackling machine in the preseason and he's gonna be a big part of the special teams unit. This year he played special teams last night. He is a guy that will be a big time contributed on special teams. I mean while he's playing in the second half he all the The majority of the players don't look like they be along nickname in stood out as one of the best players on the field for the chargers. If not the entire field on both sides he was always active. He was a step ahead of everybody. Who was playing downhill. I know he had some missed tackles last night and he got a terrible call on that helmet-to-helmet contact Call but i mean he. He's just been totally impressive and he's going to be a special teams stalwart. I can't wait to see him as a special teams series. Going gonna prove that unit. I got the same guy as the last linebacker. the fifth one og amiga. I mean you read the quote. They basically said that they've always they've already got evaluation of who. He is as a player playing a third. Preseason game is gonna change that so to me that says that staley knows what they got into player and ugh is in. And that's our guy so It's a win win for us and for the chargers and so cold. Christianson has a possibility for a Practice squad spot a guy who played on a special teams last year for the chargers. But yeah i've got the same. Five kenneth murray tranquil kaiser white rookie nickname in an almond. Og bog amiga yet. I think it's worth pointing out that. We've seen kind of a change in rules. The top of that linebacker depth chart to seems like kaiser white has kind of leapfrogged drew tranquil as the primary starter. Opposite kenneth kenneth murray and a tranquil that of course allows tranquil tranquil rotate in will probably play a lot one nickel packages for the chargers and it allows him to jordan on special teams which is something. He's really really good at So i think it makes. It seem better all the way around. And that that ascension of a kaiser white his ability to take that role from tranquil. Who was i think he had the green dot last year for mistakenly got hurt. Who was a leader on. Defense to to take to make that ascension to take that role from end is huge because it speaks a lot to his work ethic and where he is now versus where he was with the previous coaching staff yet. Another point about how bad that previous coaching staff was. They couldn't figure out how to get something out of crazy white. No the reser will maybe resurrections too strong of a word the rebirth of not even the the emergency things. You much reemergence z. Resurrection of kaiser white but just the way that he's been playing and the way that we have all hoped that kaiser could be what we saw him his first year in the nfl and then to come into the system and just basically play his own game not have to think so much they just cut him loose and that's all he needed and now he's Ramped up his role in this Defense and i absolutely love it. It's been probably one of my favorite story. Storylines of this off. Season has been the emergence of your weight. So we've done Second level let's go on the outside. Let's talk about corners. And i've got them keeping five the first three or easy. Michael davis chris junior and then the rookie. Asante samuel junior after that. It's kind of tough and of course there's five corners and there's one caveat. The caveat is ryan smith currently on the cove in nineteen list. So he's not gonna count towards the fifty three so basically. They're the chargers are going to get an extra roster spot so once after after. It's happened on tuesday they can then reactivate ryan smith on the list. And put him on. I r which means he'll come back sometime during the season and can rejoin the team because he's been injured but he's also on the covert list so it it's not sneaky. But it's a way that they earned another extra roster spot with ryan smith so he you won't have to cut him and he won't have to go to or put them on i already. He's not going to count toward fifty three. So he's not part of my list last two unfortunately are just guys that what one of them earned it and the guy that earned it was tavon campbell. I thought that he obviously staley was praising him throughout camp he got the interception against the forty niners. A guy who's playing pretty good earned himself a fifth cornerback spot on this roster to replace ryan smith the other guy unfortunately got to be branded face on because there just isn't anybody else. He had a really really rough game again last night. he just does not look good I think that guys like john. Brennan come on hall made cases just not enough for his coaching staff. So i think they could be on the Practice eligible and they might think about bringing them back but for me. The five are michael davis. Chris harris junior asante samuel junior devan campbell and then reluctantly brennan face on and this is another group like offensive line. We talked about defensive line This is a group that they have got to get better at hopefully during cuts on tuesday. They can find somebody better than face on campbell to replace them at the at the back of this quarter..

"Their experience and some of the challenges. Oh yeah if. I've learned anything from this job from postgraduate officer. This year is that pete. World of pg ause is a very weird gray areas sometimes between student on stuff. I think the interesting thing that this report points out the importance of the relationship between pg researchers supervises. I think you know having somebody. Who's only distraction. But i know the importance of having a good supervisor when doing that kind of work. And so i think it's really important that this paper points out that like having good students supervisor relationships that are like nurturing that like encourage research students on keep by challenging challenging them in the best way. I think that's so important. A the i never really touch on research or like supervises when it mixed commentary. It's always you know about teaching unlike toll programs. I'm hopeful that this report and future there is a new emphasis placed on the relationship between supervisors. And almost you know training for them and shoring that they're well equipped to be supervisor's. I think they'll be key in the next few years. Greg greg lisa policy gap is that should we be concerned. The policy and regulation eveready really looks at pg. Al students always gold cinderella area. You've got lots of sexy projects are being proposed. Important ones like aria. Enosis this The research agency that. Tony cummings copied from america which i think could be an important part of research base in britain but actually i think developing the research environment for research students. Post docs early career. Researchers in the long run this will be just as important if not more important to develop the space compared to setting up a new funding agencies on new development agencies. Such as are so you know. There's a lot of work to be done. A nitty gritty work. That's mentioned in this report. That will be crucial to a ability to be assigned superpower in the twenty th century. Which is everybody's aspiration as we could afford and northeast difficult to talk about talk about improving research culture without talking about its diversity and then you know the impact that has on the cut of diversity. The academy right. Yeah definitely i think anyone who is in higher education as while aware of the gap between how many students finish undergrad up specifically black students finish undergrad and then how many Block students enter like postgraduate research phd schemes and. I think you know if we're talking about changing the research culture realizing potential that has got to be work specific focused work on how we close this diversity. Gap Black students as well as minority ethnic students as well tench also participate in pg work. I think it's really important to understand that like you know. There is a fundamental pipeline problem from undergrad to post grad from post grad to page d teaching. And if we're not fixing that pipeline problem then we're constantly going to keep recreating the problems that already exist now and so you know i'd be really keen to see. Universities create very specific initiatives that work. To fixing this pipeline. Problem won't fest festival of higher education returns in june. I'm because of the year we focus had we're using it as an opportunity to look ahead. What works what doesn't and how can we come back stronger as universities professionals and as a sector and crucially how can higher education drive the global recovery. It's all about how we build back. We'll hear from people who have been at the heart of the government response like national in diamond vice-chancellors students union offices. I'm naturally and i mean literally everything and everyone in between it's online only this year. Well because you know why but. We're working hard to keep the best of the chris junior bustling with insights. You can take back to institutions at the end and monkey on hand every step of the way to help guide you through. We'll look forward to seeing you in june to help us build back harder to find links. The center for global higher education has released a report on racism and discrimination faced by black african international students in the k. Dorothy this is an interesting angle. Very interesting i think There's always report stern. We know a uk. Advance hate she. Everyone does reports on racism a higher education. But i think there's not really been a lot of work done on the experiences of black african international students in higher education. And this is what this report does. At basically looks at the experiences of these specific students you know examining a cross sections of their identities as black african and international students and how those parts of their identity shape their experience at higher education. They talk about racism and overt racism such as racial slurs and physical assault being told tino go back to africa. But then this report talks about the social things about individual national identities being homogenized just one africa or being fetishizes d- all you know being seen as exotic which is obviously not a compliment and it looks very much so through the lens of saying that work is being done on international students but the experience that non white international students have in the k. It's vastly different experience that why international student top in the u. k. This report definitely is really interesting. It's criticized diversity. Initiatives such as the race equality charter failing to engage with with instances of institutional racism in british universities. Because you know folks isn't rather over racism rather than that kind of like foundational racism to all higher education and basically the reporter the author. Sorry of the report asks and tusks university with appreciating how racism in all its forms shapes the lives of the students specifically these black african international students and recommending that this race consciousness. Be at the center of all policy and practice. Which i don't know. I feel like we should have all been doing already. Sometimes i read reports like this. I guess you know it's really it. Sometimes i wonder why higher education hasn't thought of this before and why one not further than we should we should be. Greg mean when i was reading this are i was struck by it doesn't matter how many times on the site we've published something that says something like with by.

"And so when I joined the team said that's the you know we're GonNa make that until Iraq said absolutely and so they were actually still developing it so actually got to be a part of the development of that product. I didn't come up with the initial thought but I I got to where it is today. Marcia just picked up and yes smelling it. I'm smelling it and yeah you can. You can make the second one yes is. It's pretty hard to miss it. I it's definitely an is. You're using all natural fruits and everything inside of it so we actually ended up having to go with natural extracts so in developing it we were using the real fruit but when we did the math to scale it up to full production we realized we needed about twenty tonnes. Oh it's a lot of appeal. Not even the the meat. We just needed the peel. And it just was wasteful. It wasn't practical so we kind of had to alter our pass on that one. Yeah that's a tough one for. It'll get madame dangerously delicious. It's really good vodka. The vodka pursue coming coming coming in okay so so you had the idea of doing the vision so I guess we're we're already kind of like jumping ahead here a little bit so the the phone call comes you take it. You have it. I'm to swimming like offer letter rolls in and your next step was to Memphis. The team see their the building because they did at least owned the building. Nothing was in it But they wanted to make sure that I fit with on the team in so came down and actually timed it with The International Barbecue Festival. Not a bad time to be here not at all. It was my first time in Memphis ever and so to get to see it at such a fun time in my first night Memphis. They actually took me down to the festival and so I got to experience that. And if you've never seen it you've gotta come down for it it's insane But then I they actually also got me tickets to a grizzlies game too. And it was a playoff game so they made sure I got experienced at its best. Maybe a night on Beale street as well. There's a little bit of that and a little bit of. Yeah it's always palm building all really always end up their roots into feels street awesome so then you fell in love with the city in figuring it. Okay well time to turn in my Blueblood card here and actually become a Tennessee's so how how. How did that transition go? I mean what's your family? Say Today? Excommunicate you my brother was furious because he had just moved back to Lexington a year before we moved so he was so mad that I was leaving But other than that they my parents who do this is what I want to do. You know I think they would have liked to have seen me staying Kentucky new that opportunities there were a lot lot slimmer than elsewhere so I think they always knew I was going to moving away. Well six hours apart. I mean it's really not bad. I mean we did it this morning together for him. You do that. You know you let your driver take care of it. I take a nap and then for you know it and you wake up in your there there as long as I don't wear orange my family's okay. Oh I think I can wear blue here and be okay sneaky solid. I don't say coach Cal Right now and also showed up. We still love our Tennessee. Volunteers that are out there that our listeners so absolutely no no no hatred on that and okay so let's let's go ahead and shoot up a little bit here so now you are. You're into the role and kind of talk about the whole process. Because I know that we had kind of talked about the very beginning of maybe the family wanted to. Just start sourcing first. And then bottling and then it Kinda snowballed kind of talk about that and then also kind of within the family history of like what they wanted to do too. Yes Oh back in. I think it's twenty thirteen when the idea of bringing back dominic kind start it and originally. They really did think. Oh we'll just by h product and we'll just bottle which is exactly what our founder did before prohibition yeah what was the original Dominic I guess what was their business model like so our parent company Deacon Alley and company was founded in eighteen sixty six and shortly thereafter? They added a whiskey line to it so they had fruit distribution they had beer distribution and then also some whiskey and they would just source barrels. We have Letters that show that they bought from Cincinnati. Ohio and Indiana and Kentucky in would bring it down and just down. The street from the distillery is where their facility was and they would just ball it under the dominant brand name In also firmed the records. We see that they actually bottled Under under a couple of different labels and then also distribute it other brands In the state of Tennessee as well so the distributor the they did a lot. I know one thing that you had mentioned is that he kinda liked copied a model from his parents or something like that where like fruit distribution is at was a domino Nico. When I moved to Memphis actually worked for his uncle who had a fruit business and then a couple years later is when he decided to start his own business. Doing very similar things. Fruit must be hot right. It must be hot. That if you gotta be you gotta gotta satisfy the quench for fruit. Well in the late eighteen hundreds and I'm sure they weren't growing honey for or whether distributed somehow probably didn't have ways of keep it fresh for a year either right. It's one of those things it's like. It's like bananas. You get them in their bad in a week and can get. They've gotTA figure out a way to make bananas last longer by now. Just don't buy as many maybe that so I that's true so what happened to the ultimately happened to the business. Why did it today? prohibition pit in Sao like every you know most brands they had to stop production and stop selling. Fortunately Deacon Alien Company continued it's been in continuous opera sense so they were civil to continue the beer later on they were able to continue the fruits But our founder passed away before prohibition ended in so unfortunately when it was repealed. There really wasn't anyone who is super interested in bringing it back And so the business continued on and they had an Anheuser Busch distributorship here in Memphis is one of the biggest ones in the region. They had a food. Division is well both of those got sold off by two thousand ten in so in two thousand thirteen. Our President Chris Junior found a bottle of dominic taty was a product that was part of the original portfolio and it was still full instill wax sealed and a light bulb. Went off of. This is how we get back to Memphis. This is. This is what I'm GONNA do. Where was the family at at the time so the office is still located in downtown Memphis Day just at that point had business ventures outside of the city and investments outside of the city? And so he wanted to get back into his hometown and have an active business in the city. And so he decided to bring dominic back and the Dominic Taty is what started it. All decided crack that bottle open and have Juice analyzed out in California and we took that analysis and created our Memphis taty. So why why the name Taty do do you know like we're originally. Oh I know what Taty is but you know this is this is a this is a full bottle. It's not just like you know it's mixed with like you know honey and tea like RTD's before it's Day ready to tells you this because actually all the ads for Dominic. Taty said just serve over cracked ice so they didn't even necessarily is once you exactly unfortunately no records as to what was in the toddy. We have no idea why he actually called a toddy for the time and by to pay cash to we just stuck with the name. Oh I gotcha okay and this is the Taty here that is bourbon steep with cinnamon. Clove Black Pepper. Cardamom and citrus peel. Okay well I'M GONNA pick it up real quick because it you can pick it out of the lineup. Because this little hazy right yeah. There's sugar in their. You'll taste the original bottle or just offer analysis. I believe one person was brave enough to taste it. I didn't do. They survive it. Yes yes 'cause. They used fresh fruit at the time. From what we can tell what happens to fresh fruit over time. I mean I would imagine like what was black. Oh Yeah I can imagine that because the sale was like was there can be something. That point. Is Bacteria runamuck. You can see anything in it. Yeah it reminds me of fall like sit on a Hay Bale and ride around wagon from for fall festival and get good. Get your get your Straw. Bale out kind of sit on it and Yup. Yeah exactly exactly what it tastes so was the was the Taty. The first idea of this is the first product that we also want to come out with it as like an darker liquid. Yeah we knew. We wanted to launch with that product. The vodkas really were just there to help carry us through while whiskey aged sounds like the story of every other story out today. One gotTa make it happen. Making whisky is expensive. It is it is and so how long to the point where you know because I would imagine you're alternating the days still and and then you've got basically you're mashing in one day and then you got you know you're you're trying to still in another. So what was the? What was the schedule of like? Okay this is the days that we can pump out vodka. This is the days that we can do our whiskey. What did that look like? So basically you So we do actually made with our Tennessee. Whiskey mashed bill in so that kind of helped as far as just laying down product. We were able to just firm it near Mash ferment. That whiskey and then after the fact we could decide. Did it go in a barrel or did we still it further to turn it into our Baca But really it was just a juggling act. Of course this loft wherein right now was our original storage space while it's limited space so I also knew I only had so much time before I needed the next warehouse and so we were actually distilling less than our capacity. Because I need it gives us time to finish our warehouse so we were pretty much just trying to lay down as much whisky as we could but give us time anyway in so finding holes in the schedule to produce the vodkas to preach the tidy to bottle everything was actually a really easy just because we didn't have the space to be able to make whiskey every day anyway. Yeah talk about the design. It's a beautiful facility like did you. Did you know what you wanted or did you have to outside help to kind of tell you? What was the design? Who can who came up with a design. It was eighteen so we worked with a group HERE IN MEMPHIS called L. K. That helped us with of our interior design work in that extended to even like our equipment lay out as well because we knew from day. One we want this to be a place you could do tours and see everything and so they wanted it to be beautiful as well as functional and so it was designed team saying. Oh let's make it look this way and then me having to say no. That's not how piping works. Let's come up with a different solution to reality. Yes yes. Let's get this thing functional. Yeah so it was definitely a teamwork what came first that or You know like getting vendome in here to figure out like this is what the stills are going to look like. This is where the the mashed green match are going to be. They had actually already started talking independent before I even got on board To where my first day on the job we actually hit the road and went up to Louisville. And.

"Tear terrified of what I was terrified of being judged by whom everyone split day. Just don't understand I don't i. It was it was just I was being flooded. I just didn't know which was out which way was down. There was April sharing a house a life with a man. She believed believed to be a killer. That must've been pretty weird. How'd you manage that? I would just go to bed earlier than him. What would you talk about? Uh We didn't talk. Emerge lasted about six weeks because of April suspicion or because the money ran out. She got a call from their landlord one day and she said rent hasn't been paid for four four or five months and we're going to lock you out of the House tomorrow and she had no idea whatsoever that this was happening so I got in my car and I drove Rav to her house and she opened the door and she immediately start crying and we started hugging. And that's when we got that letter from Felicia Shit about eight months after Kris seniors murder a murder that the time we take these interviews was still unsolved. So what now well I Dunno Chris is still out I know skirt him. MM Yes yes. We look over our shoulders and it was during this visit. April told us that long long suppressed memories just beginning to surface like what Chris Junior said on the phone the day of the murder. I blocked it out all these months. I blocked that phone call out. I had a breakdown when nights and and it all came flooding and when it came flooding back. What did you remember particularly i? I shot my dad. That's right sitting here eight months after the murder. April told us. She now remembered that Chris confessed to her movements after his dad was shot. I blocked it all out. I walked out well. If that's true it meant. She blocked out that confession instantly because she made no mention of it when she called nine one one instead. She told a very different story draining away his dad. How's IT GONNA Sean? April repeated that same different story a minute later when she spoke to a second nine one one dispatcher. I heard gunshot. You're him okay. So you're you're beyond their at the business and he heard gunshot driving away. He heard the John Day Artyom that it's the same story. She told police later. That day won't on seven months would pass after. The money was gone at a relationship with Chris. Junior was over before April with her mom by her side told police about Kris Chris Juniors alleged confession.

"You within a matter of weeks. The Chris Autumn senior murder investigation had more potential suspects than a game of clue several swindled investors. The merit eight girlfriend but pretty soon detective seem to zero in on this guy. A man who recently had a bitter falling out with Chris who'd been a direct threat on his life life his name was Ron con and he admitted he was no fan of Chris. Senior or the way he ran Skim X.. Some special forces unit we we had we had situational awareness and we had all these military terms being thrown at US left and right without coming Out and saying he was a navy seal. He said he was involved in special operations for the government and couldn't talk about these things. It is a licensed contractor. Chris senior hired him to build. Schematics is complicated ramps and jumps when we actually were supposed to to start building the park. It was at that time that I realized he had no idea what he was doing. Construction wise businesswise. I was far far his depth so I told him that it may be best that we part ways it was at that point. He said I'm going after your contractor's there's license and I will make sure you cannot feed your wife and your your baby. And what did you say to him. I said you might want to be very careful about about the next thing that comes out of your mouth. Because if he threatened my wife and my child again I will kill you and you. He did attempt to go after my contractor's license is that one. You set him strengthening texts. I didn't do the threatening text. I sent him an email that had told him that I was going to expose him. taunted found out the truth about one Chris. Seniors most closely held secrets. He never was a navy seal. He had never. Even I've been in. The military was never a special OPS contractor. His stories his image his militarized security drill nothing. Nothing more than fantasy. I was going to expose them to a gentleman who was a navy seal and who exposed rosed frauds people who are being frauds and then weeks after that confrontation. Somebody fired too high powered bullets into Chris. Noth MC MM CEDAR The type of bullets use an ar fifteen which just happened to be the kind of rifle owned by Chris senior except except his was missing. Did the police search your house. Yes and search your car yes and search your phone search everything you own computer everything. How many times the question three times? What were you afraid of most having having something pinned on me that I had nothing to do with and losing my family and then finally after months? He was cleared cleared father-in-law his wife several members of the family. They all said he'd been that barbecue when the sense what happened. So Ron Con could have done it but what about Kris seniors married female friend. The one who cell phone pinged near Skim X.. Around the time of the murder her phone was is the only one that was even close to the scene but at the same time her phone continued traveling her residence and was never activating that cell tower. For more than thirty seconds to a minute and within a minute just didn't seem possible to me not enough time to commit a murder and clean up the crime scene so it couldn't have been the woman then. What about the South African investors? Did you consider the possibility that maybe one of those people arranged for the killing. We did look into that but there's a couple problems with that. Number one is the lack of motive. is they want their money back. And if they kill all the head of this company then they most likely wouldn't get their money back. FBI was able to confirm that neither of their passports had been entered in the United States during this time. Investigation dragged on for months. Well police worked one false lead after the other and the family which your gut feeling about what happened happened here. My gut feeling has been the same since the day. It happened and all the thing is on the wisdom. Would it be fair for me to say that you believe he was targeted absolutely in September. Four months after the murder detective leatherman phone Chris Junior yet again. Just try to help them remember for something. He might have missed April over her part of the conversation. I couldn't hear it all but I could hear some of the questions like the question about Chris. Seniors missing Ar Fifteen. Chris said he opened the Gun case that morning and pulled. Data's DADS can and was had touched. The gun would seem very strange indeed April because on the day of the murder just minutes after the shooting. Chris told her his dad no longer owned a gun. Sure enough here's where he says that during the nine one one call all these European armed with his dad doug have one now. I got rid of interest. Yeah so when April hurt Chris tell a detective he'd handled his dad's gun the day of the murder. It was confirming for me right then that day confirming. Yes she said because the also suspicion should have been growing for a while Chris let things slip she said about the murder that didn't add up. Chris must killed his own father. Father did you rush to share her suspicion with detective Leatherman. No she did not. Because I didn't want to be the one into point the finger the finger pointed I thought justice was takes oath taking it was on Kinda wanted to stay out of the way and let it happen without getting hurt in the process which perhaps made kind of sense to April but what she did next no sense at all I just I don't get it and I'd like you to slant to me how. How could you get back with him? And when Mariam married to a man she's convinced is a killer. "Out and of course he lived down to all of the wonderful depression that he provides metropolitan fans I mean they live down double you know his his whole season Christian is calling from Danbury Connecticut Chris junior on the fan what's going on good morning Gary and me here you there thank you for taking my call thanks for making and for sure all I ask you this question I need to steer away from the metropolitan the drama but is to knock out a game one Darger Hawkman in the wind up for this post season of course he's gonna be a game one starter and the question is who is going to be well I'll probably Paxton and then you have her mon may be an opener what what do you think I mean the opener certainly should be used but I would maybe think about going to her mom's first before you go to ten Oct although cannot that has the postseason numbers to back him up I would go with her mind just because he's got more wins Chad green had been good up until the football game and that's why I like to call them the New York football Yankees with some of the scores they've been putting up but overall the opener has been working yeah and overall Chad green is been working to whether it's logo giving up five runs on Wednesday night in getting only one out or whether it's Chad green twenty four hours ago getting only one out and giving up seven runs it's more an aberration no you have to start game one were to not go he's your race not where he may not have the winds first of all we don't know from her mind and how he is going to respond to serious October baseball that's a big question mark you know the Tanaka can get people out he has the what is it with the post season the one fifty ERA and he's been there he's a money guy and when he is on his game as we saw against a very good kidding Cleveland team I yeah he's going to get that out may add is splitter working and they were it ground balls and yes he did give up two solo home runs but who doesn't and for six and a third innings he quieted down a very loud Cleveland team they came in twenty four hours ago to score nineteen runs although while it may be if they are going to change with the open or maybe they can have Mike Ford the one of the good things about that game for twenty four hours ago is that in one inning Mike Ford might forward lowered his ERA from forty five to twenty two that was the only bright spot he got of the one one two three in the ninth inning what is it so the bottom line is now an aberration from last night and Yankee fans and all and and interestingly enough it was in two thousand and nine and what happened that year but in two thousand and nine and and the in they I believe in the first game at the brand new place next door in the Bronx at the brand new Yankee Stadium the Indians came in and beat the Yankees I think twenty children for and what happened in that year of two thousand and nine so maybe it's a good sign that twenty four hours ago the Indians with the Yankees what was a nineteen to five Tommy is calling from what tron in New Jersey and Tommy you're on a family it's going on Hey Hey how are you tonight no okay Tommy how about yourself our question all right I'm gonna save it will just make it as easy as possible even a blind squirrel finds the not okay but let me ask you this was Nicki Callaway brought in because this is approach yes he was Cleveland's pitching coach of course and why is that hello up in his in his tenure why has that happened well he's a man may be a better pitching coach where he can work on mechanics and day and be you know the Big Brother or the father figure without confidence matters regarding a pitching Saverne first of all he was with Cleveland he was along side of Fran Kona and he was working with a much better pitching staff and bold pan that made him look a little bit better thank you and other words you know with the he was with a better team with a better starting staff band with a better bull pen so it's a all of the dots you can connect here it's not it's re signing familia instead of going after on a venal and you can go right on down the line with the the bull pen that the was put together here or with the metropolitans a so that yeah I mean again and the two S. bullpen tribes and really only one you can trust and rely upon and feel good about when he comes out of the bullpen is logo everybody else is really very iffy with a lot of question marks Dan is calling from a bar harbor Maine Dan here on the fan okay thanks for taking the call and thanks for the insight on hello way because you know even a bench coach would be someone who you know kind of studied under a manager understood game situations where the pitching coach as you said is a technician bachelors there and and may not have that understanding of baseball overall well hello Callaway's in game managing or mismanaging is very apparent and well documented with too many examples is not he might be a much better and I'm sure he would be a much better pitching coach then overall manager of a baseball team name dead does more mismanaging them manage well I'm certainly more back you up on the mat situation I'm in this is an excellent young athlete is all Mets fans no all round athlete in superb condition he's young he's not **** Perry at sixty five years old you know so he can go from first to third you know and still pitch and I mean people like you know let's start with Casey Stengel Ralph how red Shane Alvin dark none of those people would have ever taken out a pitcher who started seventy nine pitches and has the other team mystified as I think you said with fourteen straight any number of games and never gave you the impression he was a laborer in the heat and the humidity not from any number one and nodded ending number six he had retired fourteen in a row and you're right do you and I have played under the age of thirty and I would have at least had him go out there in the bottom of the seventh inning and and start demanding in now if he had walked a batter given up here it was huffing and puffing and what Matt's has had a tendency as you probably know to get down on himself and he but I mean he would the emotion she could see already the animation with how upset he can get it and where he can lose some concentration and focus if he walks a batter Rory gives up a kid or two and then he could do himself in and that is not a good thing body was in full control I would've allowed him I would have had him go out there in the bottom of the seventh to start that'd but that that didn't happen all right one eight seven seven three three seven six six six six one forty is the time on this Saturday morning will be around for another twenty minutes no from the one eight seven seven three three seven six six six six number to call on your fan New York City but now the plaques Markel Belletti even the supports brought you by W. W. W. dot police officers right to sue dot com monster Tanaka made a back to back nights outings given up just two runs on four hits over six and a third but the Yankees by the Indians three two I think I was able to which effectively for the most part had pretty much had all my pitches like thirty said but you know just going back the seventh inning I wish I could take that back you know you really have to close it down there and not get through an interpreter on yes Tommy came we pick them up in the seven getting back to back strikeouts Zach Britton worlds Chapman and close it out labour Tories Gary Sanchez RBI singles G. or show three more heads Aaron judge a couple it's along with two runs scored series continues this afternoon James tax and get sacked please second coverage here the fan at twelve twenty five meanwhile the Mets continue struggle.

"News with the clock winding down to find a deal and avert those new tariffs on Mexican goods. Mexico offering a concession. However will President Trump says that say goes far enough to keep illegal immigrants from coming to the US walk through Mexico. That's really an invasion without the gun. Let's get into what's likely to happen here with ABC news, political director reclined. Good morning. Hey, great with you, April, and mardi here in Denver. So. It sounds like the president could have a problem getting his own party on board. These tariffs is this going to be the issue that, you know, they publicly disagree with him. So far. It's fascinating to me because there's so many areas where President Trump has gotten blowback think back the Charlottesville for a star. He's apple, but it's tariffs that get the Republicans backed up in case they can make a lot of noise. It's not an unlimited amount of influence that they have, but it's not into I mean, they can make the president's push pretty difficult for him if they choose to choose to, because they recognize that would have serious economic consequences. Rick is strategic on the president's part that he was out of the country and letting Mike Pompeo and Mike Pence deal with this situation. It was that, that calculated on the prisoner. I hadn't even thought of that I wouldn't put it past president of strategically about these his, his threats seems to have more when they're when they're delivered without having to back it up in person. And he threw a he drew a line in the sand that shifted. Anyway, you want because it's so vague. I mean he is saying, if he doesn't see enough enough movement than these go into. Effect, but it's not clear what the Mexican do not do x y and z, it's just get serious about immigration. And of course, there are moves already, and it's just unclear whether that's enough room. Here's what they're proposing offering to deploy six thousand troops to their southern border or to, to our southern border. But the administration says that internal enforcement isn't enough. What more do you think the White House is looking for? I don't know. And the president hasn't really said other than again, yet serious, and he thinks they can stop it, and get zero which, of course, is that will never happen. It's never happened before I'm won't happen in the future. The makes it difficult. I feel for the delegation tries to negotiate because Democrats have said, sometimes President Trump is like negotiating with jello, Rick, I'm wondering, too, because obviously Republicans are saying, we want wall protection want the border, but we can't do it using tariffs conflicting issues. So at this point I kind of asked us before other people are they kind of in a box right now? Republicans supporting the president on this initiative. I think ultimately the Senate is problematic for him. But the house, there's enough Trump loyalists that are willing to give the president the, the backup that he needs in these negotiations. So the, the dynamics are tricky, but I think he'll find enough people willing to support able to support him still despite a lot of skepticism about whether this is a good idea. All right. We'll see what more you have to say. A few days on Sunday's this week, ABC. Thanks, rick. Thank you. Eight fifteen sports Julie fill in for Mike. And so the Broncos what was the last Evo ta she think they're working hard, but they actually had a field day. Yes, it was the last day of mini camp. And so in the morning, they have usually have meetings about what they're doing that day. But in the meetings Vic Fangio announce actually we're gonna play games today. Dunk tank. Maybe there was really could dunk, John Elway go social media. You kidding me? Totally being flippant, and they have that I would never be the player too dumb. Chris junior. Oh, no. All right. Brad does wrapping minicam but not with a last tough grilling practice. But with field day Vic, Fangio nounce in the morning instead of drills all be about competing events, like football toss homerun derby, any basketball shooting, contests and the dunk tank. So now the attention turns to what the players will be doing that time away before training camp in mid-july when they have to come back offensive lineman, Ron Leary. Let us know what he'll be doing a really for spe-. He's five weeks. You know, I'll go by the doubt, assessable my home is in a mammogram, Hotan, you know, a, a mad rehab. So I can't really say I'm veto as much somebody's other guy. So also working right away, on those things. "Kidding? It was a pain in the ad a jumped off a cliff in real life. Johnny. Yeah. Johnny. Mocks mocks, Gerald in Valencia. Hey, what's up? What's up? Are you guys talking about a famous or best movie quarterbacks? I'm gonna take you back a few years, remember back in the early eighties late. Seventies, we'll be called heaven. Can wait Jess Fadi with your in bay? Yes. Any wanted his life back? Joe any a gun on his side, like Brett farve against the raiders back in the day. Remember what Brett farve lost his father anywhere any played the raiders and be an ex raiders fan does name hurt. But I still had like Monday night football. Yeah. Through like twenty seven touchdowns. Six thousand yards and just shoot us up. And I was like, man, I got to kind of have looked for the guy. I saw his dad catch two of those pets, John Ireland, just Texas. He he says that you shouldn't undersell Johnny Utah and point break. But they only given the beach scene, but he was nasty, though, Ireland's not wrong. I think about that scene. It didn't even need like a montage music song, behind just scored music. And he was just throwing left, and I'm a lefty, right? He was just throwing left hated ball, sees home saying, Chris and riverside guide. Chris, hey, got I haven't heard it yet helped me if you've seen it, though. But Reno high tower Kurt Russell the best of times, nineteen eighty Aw. Oh, yeah. Young. I'm I'm ashamed. I am shamed that I didn't say that. I'm a huge Kurt. Russell, mark. Big trouble in little, China is like one of my top five most. Joe? Big trouble in little China. Have you seen that movie might have not have to? You're missing out. No joke. It was on cable, like like a month or two. And I came across it, and on, like Cinemax, and I was like I'm in, and I watched it, I'm telling you doesn't hold up the same, but still awesome holds up in a different way. It's corny and campy the way women still love showgirls. Yes. Because it's like horrible. It's so good. It's so bad. It's good. Yeah. That's like big trouble for guys. Like I know you're not going to like it. But just watch it. Anyway. Coming up next. We didn't do the LeBron. Steph thing that was happening on social media. We'll do that next. We'll take some more of your calls, and we'll get to what's trending, Freddie. Chris junior hanging out down show, ESPN LA sonata show here on ESPN LA. Freddie, prince junior here who was the quarterback in Friday night, lights. You couldn't have played him. He got hit a lot a lot. That's true. It was punchy by the second act. Yeah. Jason's treat you won't be. That's a great quarterback. That That is is a great. a great, great to be the guys. Get jacked up her or Pukhan knowing me to be like the cool guided wins the game and gets the guy was okay with you, being mocks. Yeah. You were okay with take back. I'll take it back. You nailed the line. Everyone got that line everyone can do that one. I love that. He did a commercial about it like a year or two ago. Whatever was eating. What? I'll look it up in one of the brakes, but he did a product ad or he did that he said, I don't want your lab. That's money. That's like when MacAulay did his his home alone bitch. Speaking of MacAulay, your boy, they went back. Well, not went back, but he had some fun at Drake's expense. Sharp as attack always has been his troll game has been next level for for over a decade. I've been playing board games and video games with him for almost twenty years. That's exactly how he is for whatever reason, whenever we play all we do is trying to kill each other and destroy one another just because for some reason, it makes me feel better to kill him than anyone else game. So to see him get to go in like that. Like that's his wheelhouse. And if anyone would have tried to clap back, he would have owned them because that's his wheelhouse. I loved seeing that, man, it was Chevron Roberts..

"Draft on the twentieth. Into free agency. Do I I mean June June twentieth in July first, it'd be it'd be interesting thing. Knicks. The number to be pick as nice, and you're going to dangle Robertson. Knock it gets them. You know, Anthony Davis tries. This doesn't seem to be enough because the Lakers is going to you know. Give them a six or seven guy than a fourth fourth round the number four picks. It's the cure. And I wanted to Anthony Davis. Give me out of here. Get me out of you. Oh, we got on. And anyway dig about him play with Anthony Davis. He doesn't have to be the messiah right off the bat. You know, he can he can do his own thing. With with top superstar who really doesn't play a lot of games. Anyway, gets injured a lot. So maybe van Williams and playing with him take some appreciable if we play more games. Let's go to Christmas story. Chris you're on the fan. Hey, what's up? All right, man. How you doing? Giga before you get the point. I wanted to say I'm watching a nineteen Seventy-eight Yankees versus dodgers World Series. The the game has changed so much. Oh, Bunsen is not even wearing a shell on his head. He just wearing the masks. Oh, you want someone? They don't have the the netting in front of the dugout. And and it's you see. It's almost like a different style of play. When you watch it it really it really I I the little younger. So I don't really I wanna lie for this. But also Nedal just put into second base. It was worse than shape, and they didn't did nothing happens. They went back to the dog. Yeah. It's now, you know, benches empty and people get upset, and we're going to tell you. Oh, yeah. But my next point is I don't I don't know why any nickname actually happy about the third pick. I think that this is a might have been the worst thing in the world would supposedly to number two guys that are above everybody else. Then you have a big drop off in the worst part is deleted before. So the Lakers trade value is going to be more than that. Nick. If you're not even get David now, if you're the penalty, if you're the pelicans, and you entertain offers is like who's giving me the best offer of the places that wants to go because I let's say, let's say. The magic when get involved. No, no. I don't wanna go there. It's like if I want to go to New York I wanted to LA. Okay. Those place you want to go. Then you tell the, and what's what's the offer? What are you giving me and the Knicks don't have they don't stack up with what the Lakers have Lakers going off? Lonzo Ingram who's and the fourth pick. Right. And if they say, we want one more guy, you're gonna go, okay? You're not you're not gonna you're not gonna lose them over something like that. No, I think this is a horrible. Even if we get Durant. We get Kyrie. Let's say that we get those guys is that good enough to go to the conference finals mixture the or the NBA finals. I don't know RJ Barrett RJ, it'd be good enough to play in a championship level. And I think that's the guy. I want the only only red flag easy ways to under pounds. He doesn't have the greatest shoddy. Yeah. And all those guys. I mean the way they're hyping. I mean, look, I know we go overboard in media goes overboard, hyper somebody's guys. But I'm like, you know, I'm going to hold off the all star status until they start playing. I could actually see what they can do. When are we going to do in college was the different game? Now, you know, how many I mean, I mean, how many more don't you gonna show me with him? Don't get with nobody on them. I mean, that's that's not telling me nothing. But the reason why no one's on though. He gets away from everybody. Yeah. No. That's true. But a lot of them this showing fastbreak dunks. And I, you know, that's okay. But you know, he's got more game than that. I just think hype them up too much like you you sit in the bar so high, you know, if if he scored nine points in his first game people that think something's wrong with them. You know, it's just nine. I I understand that. I I just wanna be set up after during whoever comes to lease because they're not going to be forever. They if three four years max, and I wanted to be the guy that take over after they lead. Hey, now, I don't know if RJ Barrick and do that now, I know, hey, if I on really wants to be a Nick when his rookie contracts up you come here. He's still a young man. Tony. I heard my whole life. Everyone wants to be Nick and all come here. They. Never come here. They come to the Knicks. But no everyone to play amateur forty one time year. No one comes. No, no, you're right. You're right. It's like, I'm I'm still, you know, I think I'll be more shocked at anybody else. If in comes next, I really will. Because you know, you're living in a mansion, basically, Golden State to move into a fixer upper. Now, if you're into that sort of thing, that's fine. But fixer uppers take time. You know, the the Manson has a leak you make your fixing right away a fixer upper as leak you probably have to remove the whole the whole roof and start all over it takes awhile to Indian town. Andy, what's up Tony going? All right, man. How are you? Good. I rely a lot of what you're saying. What why would you mean when it comes to, you know, like, I don't watch much basketball used to when I was younger, but I still follow it, and especially Williamson, you know. I agree. He you know, you're gonna have to learn how to shoot the outside a lot better. But you know, like a big part of the game right now in college. It's just like dominating people on the inside when he comes into the pros, you kind of big or fancy he's not going to be able to dominate these guys inside like he did say definitely gonna have to learn how to shoot from the outside. So like, I'm kind of on the fence about him. No, look, I I'm I'm I see some red flags. I mean, look. Yeah. So you know, I expect to do. I. Expect him to be a better shooter from the outside and deeper shooter in five six years. Absolutely. But you know, but he Steph curry he's not shooting from half court. He's not you know, that's that's not his game. You want to use power. But remember, you know, you going against grown men, we've been in his eighteen you're gonna go, you know, full blown grown men. And and you know, I don't see him dominating. Like the way some people think he's I think he's that have very good career. I think probably be an all star maybe rookie year, but is still got work to do. And somebody's mentioned before like this to clear picks who's the second clear picky thing. Is either Barrett or Mirant? Yes. You like I like Mariah from what I watch the best out of all of them. Really? Yeah. I mean, Barry is like I said my went flag with him. He doesn't have a lot of weight. So I'm like, you know. For whatever reason kept thinking Louis, or but he's not that skinny, but it's you know, you you put on a lot of weight and slow down your game Moran. Let you know. At least you know, he can pass. He led the lead the nation in a cyst. That's a good thing. That's a that's a good thing. But I mean, you never know. I mean, I'm gonna go back a little I remember one guys like, Kenny Anderson and law, very will come in at a high school. It was supposed to be like, you know, hall of fame is right out of high school. You know, and you know, very had a very good creator. But Kenny, Kenny Anderson never really had the career that everybody thought he was gonna have, you know. I mean when bothered me I mean, I know LeBron was hyped in Zion. His height even to the degree. But they also high. You know, it's like that's what I you know, he's t so Mark Berman. He said, I just hope I can live up to the hype. You know, I didn't set the hype, you know, the the the the media did. But yeah. But actually, it's kind of like what they're doing with rare junior. Now, they make a whole I I don't remember a a young baseball play coming up like this and being like so hyped up before they Chris junior. Yeah. But you know, the hype hyping the science like he's a hall of Famer at me because you know, they're they're showing like, well, what his father did it this time. I guess what? He's doing. I'm like, man, he even here like two weeks and you're doing comedy. I know they follow like they will follow in bad. I mean, it got a little like road kill, you know, the last the last thing, you know, like I hear like everybody always talking about this war and stuff. I mean, you know, what happened to dislike home runs batting average. That does not mean anything anymore. I mean, it's ridiculous. Even the comedy. That's all they talk about it. So it's like, you know, it's like you said if you go to scout somebody and he strikes out three times. Yeah. Come closer hits one bomb. Like five hundred feet, and there's another guy that goes before spreading the ball over the place that they don't even want to look at that kid now. No, Andy, you're absolutely right. I it's it's all power. I mean, I guess they look at videos, and they see if you swung. It back a little bit on this angle, you exit believe of villa would have been so much better. Watching, you know, high school kids in college kids using the metal bats I said, but you get to the pros. You would bet you used to that at all. Eight seven seven three thousand seven sixty six sixty six we got some basketball.

"Tuesday booboo possible. Okay. Thanks talk to you real soon. Now on Colorado's morning news. The countdown is on today's the draft in the NFL and the Broncos have the tenth overall pick in the first round. The question is what should the team do with it? We're talking live right now voice of the Broncos. Dave, logan. Good morning. Dave. April mardi Julie Brown in for Mike. So we always hear team should take the best available when it's their turn. But when it comes to the Broncos needs. What do you think the greatest need is what what is it position wise? Not to not to touch the question. But they've got they've got a handful of aides to be about them. They're going to have to address the office of wine at some point. In the draft. It'd be very surprised if we don't see Lyman or to take relatively highly. I think that they believe that the imposition. Even though you have a couple of guys coming off injuries. And you decide hire men, but I do think that they look at that position imposition, especially in this draft, which is really deep with tight ends and say we could use a guy that can really make things happen that I not insure that a veteran wide receiver some point outside the draft. And then I think also interestingly enough you look at defensive backs and especially with the Chris Harris situation defensive backs and everybody likes the linebackers this year. Everybody likes especially early inside linebackers for the Broncos. I loved your description of John Elway a couple of days ago competitively agitated, and I'm wondering does the Chris Harris situation. Does that change the what they're gonna do in the draft as that kind of maybe flummoxed him a little bit? Morny? But I would say sheriff change is the right word. I think we see the Broncos certainly tonight tonight if they would trade back and have multiple first round picks of some sort of defensive back is in that scenario. Then I think that speaks to what's going on with Chris junior. I think that with with respect to that. Chris, Chris, Chris is a talented guy. I think I liked crissy's. A hell of a good player. He feels like he's been underpaid. It's certainly based on what he's making. He's the twentieth. I think or around that position paid highs pay corner in the league, he's a better player than that. But I would have suggested he come to camp, even if he didn't work out. And I think you know, it's going to be sort of how that plays out. Situation can be salvaged because in twenty four hours that escalated pretty quickly on both sides. I don't know. Anything can be salvaged. But I would say handicapping today is Chris junior will be a member of the Broncos this fall. I would say it's probably seventy five twenty five against now things can change. But you get a really good player veteran player in a polarized situations. Sometimes it's better just to move him. I think the Broncos will be good in the back in without him this year, but maybe they feel differently. If you were a betting man, Dave, would you say the Broncos keep that tenth picker deal it to another team? Keep the ten th pick. And I think they utilize it tonight. And we'll be out there. Talking about whomever that pick is follow up on that. If the quarterback the Broncos one is there at ten what they take him. A sixty thousand dollars. Thank you very much. Thank you. I don't again if I were betting man, I would say they would not pick a quarterback at ten. I do think they'll pick a quarterback somewhere in this draft. It may be higher than we've seen some of the other drafts with seventh round pick. I mean, maybe maybe a mid round quarterback. But again, I don't know how they view the quarterbacks in particular, if they if they love guy and that guys they're shocked me if John Elway takes that quarterback. No would not all right. Good stuff. Dave. We appreciate it. Mario be glowing all day long from that praise. Dave, logan. Our voice of the Broncos brought to us by fix it. "Yourself to Ron Cameron. Here's for hi. I'm Chris junior, Chris junior, tell them where you go to school and all that stuff. Very very nice, very very good guy. We had a nice talk that day. I've seen him one since then he was one of he's at the ballpark. He was surrounded by a lot of people's. I didn't get a chance to talk. He's in round. I remembered that that was something back then that was ten years ago. Chris good, man. But I don't know. As far as the Tigers being sold. Dan, Gilbert like to have them. That'd be an interesting one. Very interesting one. Okay. The next one from Alex and Kalamazoo speaking of the Lakers what Kobe Bryant be a good front executive. I think has basketball he would help them tremendously with being able to work in the front office. Well, you say that but look at all these HANA famous have gone the front off save failed. Miserably let's turn off his idea. Thomas. Well, he tried to coach Indiana. You're after the almost won the NBA championship. And was a disaster. He went to the CBA bankrupted them. He went to the Knicks and ruin them, then he had a sexual harassment Dolan bail amount on that one. Then he went to the women's team didn't make it there. And missing one show that he tried to college coaching for three years failed miserably there. They fired him there to look at. Michael, jordan. I'm he was a failures in executive in the NBA. There's a lot of hall of famers. He'd think their name. They're just going to go in there it it's not like that at all. And so would come come back till I don't. Then that's an interesting thought my feeling. Is you know, Jenny bus was engaged. And I think I'm not sure still is with Phil Jackson, which she him back. He was now there's another disaster as general manager at the next. He's a tone disaster. No, just because you got a big name does not make you an executive in the NBA not at all. No, we shape or form. The one thing I agreed with with super receipt. A, but the one thing I agreed with them was about bringing Chauncey Billups as the pistons GM, I think that would be a fabulous jam or not. Signal experience. But I don't think he's going.

Always gotta be those eight ostrich-like one guy on rotten tomatoes for like the twenty four hour who literally gave us a bad review. Who's like, I'm giving you a bad review because this can't have one hundred percent this whole thing. Let's see makes sense the year in line with the people the people said eighty six great, all right matter. But I'm quietly having except for the part where yell about it into a microphone. Having a very strong run here quietly. Very quiet. Never know it. No getting destroyed. The radio why at lea- having a very strong run a stealth Ron. "This is so weird because I'm actually with you even though we're both with. I'm not going to be at all surprised at the Rams went absolutely not that. I'm not gonna pick the Rams because I picked the saints before the year started. I'm not gonna flip. I'm not gonna give up. Now. They're one step away. They're at home. These two guys drew Brees Sean Payton together or now six at home in that dome. It's hard to win there. But the Rams do know what it feels like to come close there. And so that was a big deal to me that on November fourth. They fought all the way back from thirty five seventeen at halftime two thirty five all in then Marcus Peters happened or I should say Michael Thomas, seventy two yards worth. Yes. But help me out was there in a key to leave on the football field that there was not is a key to Leib a better cover pure, cover corner, oppress corner, just a pure Yan corner. Yes, he's way better. He scares me. Every time I pick against him which I did last Saturday night. He just scares me. Because every time he's on the field with somebody good things usually happen patriots. With the Broncos Ramses. He's a winning football player. I don't always like in because he just Nassar. That's why good. So is he going to take Michael Thomas? I'm not gonna believe you travel skill. That's not how Wade normally play the deepest. I mean for the most part when he was in Denver. He had two very good corner. Lee Chris junior hitting and they never traveled, but you have confidence in those guys. I believe he'll leave him because Marcus Peters plays better. He just go. Let us play his style of football which is off coverage engine reader yet. But he needs to stop guessing in jumper. He laid off to lead just to compete ops. Yes. So listen, Michael Thomas is the key to this football game the key to their offense. We're gonna talk about this later. Did you take Michael Thomas Tyree? We're gonna go back and forth about that one. But Michael Thomas is quietly. Unbelievably good, you've because you just can't cover him. And soon a lot of people try to doubling some teas probably try to triple in any just keeps getting open and catching pass. Right. So again Wade Phillips has got to say, well, if we can at least keep him to a low roar. And keep that stadium to a low. Roar. We got a real shot. Right. So I think they got a way better shot with tha leave. So I'm still gonna go high scoring here. It was forty five to thirty five on November the four in. I'm still going to give the Rams thirty five because I think they're fully capable of getting there. But I'm going to go thirty eight to thirty five saints..

Well, we thought we saw last time skipped last week. We saw the saints in the eagles and forty eight seven, and I gave it was not even close that didn't even get the forty eight points between the two of them let alone one teams go forty. I just think the corrections that team I've always felt enough say this on numerous occasions give I believe the second time around the team that lost that ballgame has an advantage because I get an opportunity not only does the coach have your tension. He has your undivided attention. You see son that got us beat? Yeah. You get to make all the correct. When you score as many points. Did they going up and down the field? They're not putting the put out. What is the Sean Payton gone, correct? Yet. I'll be the first to admit publicly. I am still shook up over what happened to my Cowboys last Saturday night because the harder I think about it the worse it gets because I cannot explain it. The last thing I saw it while you're just a hater. I'm not a hater. I'm actually in. I'm an objective fan in the last thing I ever saw coming was one hundred seventy rush arts in the first half in the first half to seventy three for the game against a cowboy defense and had one glitch at Indy where they give a hundred seventy eight, but that was you know, you capable of. Okay. I got it. But this was a playoff game. And I just didn't see that coming, and I can't wrap my mind around..

"Banged up. Chris junior split reported with a broken fibula any any update on him. And and also, Derek Wolfe and Josie Joel Christmas break in his lower leg. So we'll see about him moving forward on Monday. And Tuesday, we value with him wolf. He's got a little bit of a rib rip issue. He should be okay along with rest, but obvious losing Chris for a game or even two games is Hughes for defense. But hey, you know, we have to bounce back next man up and we have to move on. Listen, you guys have won three straight. And again, you've talked about winning one game at a time. You've got five games left. The next one is is San Francisco. I would guess you've got to really liked the mindset of your team right now. I do I do, you know, our our team heaven flinched in about a month. Okay. So whatever happens on the field. No one we lost three starter. Today on defense. We've got five I'll total no one's flinching is a guy winning and played at a high level sort of sewer Craven's Justin Simmons plate nickel for today's flinched the coaching staff didn't flinch, and that's been the way we played David last month and a half.
