"Well in July you parted with phase and you announced in a big way through the New York Times that you were starting something, New Jersey. With exit so what is exit start us off here introduced me to this brand exit is the world's fastest growing Esports and gaming Lifestyle brand with something like a Culture Club. Right? So I'm going to do everything we did at phase and more because it was like I said because it was differences of opinions. There's a lot of things we couldn't do that. We knew would be great in this space include not being leaders in diversity and inclusion, but also understanding how to implement other sectors in other cultures and businesses into this space and what to do with it and how to put them together and really create something exciting to move the entire culture in gaming space ahead. So we decided to leave and do that because we we didn't want to have to answer nobody else. You know what I mean? It was just kind of like, yeah, we know what's dope. So we're just going to move forward with what's dope and we don't want to have to go through this whole rigmarole of like does he not like it does he not like it has she not like it so it's just like let's just go and suck. This new thing, you know aimed at diversity and inclusion and also being able to implement an Infuse all the cultures that we've been a part of for the past fifteen twenty years, which can really help the entire country. You know what I mean even phase included. So the things that we're going to do will really help lay the path and build a bigger blueprint for other people to walk down and follow to see the possibilities and the things that can be done in this space that one no one's thinking of into no one really has the resources or experience to do it like we do a tech sent. Well, you have an awesome Network and I saw in the press releases you brought on Swae Lee you have all kinds of money from musicians coming in the back the company as well. What games though? Are you guys focused on right now? How many different titles are you across? I think we're I think Eight titles right now wage. I mean, we're touching a lot of things from rocket League to Valerie into college due to fortnite we even have joke. Review: The Crown Season 4

"Let's move on onto the crown. It's been about ten days most people who loved the crowd. I think we're done with the season. Sadly one of the season five do you know now for two years. Yeah because they filmed the two seasons together together usually with the cast. Because i think it's easier on production and then also with the cova of it all. I don't know when they will be able to start production so that there was a two year break between seasons two and three and i think there'll be more to your break. Who will you miss the most which actor being extremely honest. It's going to be joshua crowder for. I really am what a monster charles becomes in the second half of season four. And what an effect josh o'connor still has me. It's really quite something. I said this via text by the scene episode austrailia when they do the kind of the ballroom dance for the show which is a real event. I've seen a lot of side. By sides of the they got the close. Perfectly matched was so charming. I don't understand why all men don't learn how to dance ballroom dance because it was like ninety seconds and i'm sold completely infatuated. He can do whatever just absolutely despicable entitled selfish things. He wants to do for the rest of the season. And i'm like oh but this guy really charming. It's it's pretty sad. What happened with him and his family. Don't you think how about the australia episode again. Catch the chris ryan on the watch. Yes i thought it was effective. My i don't wanna say my struggle. Let me just say season for masterpiece. Love the show love all four seasons. Great great television will watch again. Can't wait it. This is a show about the crown. And honor show about princess diana and i know that intellectually but i hid obviously been waiting for the diana's season my whole life that sometimes i wanted a little bit more diana or just like there is a lot more to be told obviously it would be told from her perspective and it would just be a different show so i i hate criticism when they're like the show. Were another show. The australia episode was. I thought a very well done like condensation of the entire diana phenomenon into one also and in reality that like happened over a span of years and the up stage effect and everything that they kinda that they illustrate was was very real but develops over time. And it's like the media plays more of a role. And i think there is like a lot more stuff between charles and diana and you know there's all this stuff with What's going on with diana and her believe me and her family is shown and handled pretty sensitively but not always developed from her side. If that makes any sense yeah. I think if you also you read about her her mental health struggles were like it. Very extensive and it was went beyond believe me and i thought that like it was handled well but also like i think it's worth noting that there is also many other episodes throughout her life or at least heard adult life. Yeah exactly and i understand why because they are as loop says in the very last scene of the season. This is a show about one woman. And it's not diana it's about elizabeth and it's about that institution so and you could do one hundred episodes of the eighties in the uk. Like there's so much going on. So i understand the choices that they had to make narrative in order to fit it all in and i thought it did paint a like a pretty thorough picture. But i'm always gonna want more. I just really didn't care for her monologue on the plane about the baby. Not that i thought it was like. I'm not like she's wrong but i just thought that was like emigrants were seen. I was just like this is working for me. But i thought that the stuff with charles's was pretty good. Yeah i think. I continue to think. I'm a porn is like astonishing and i've been thinking a lot about what you said about how you're not a the huge a fan but that the performance kind of stuck out to you and i get and i think that that is really perceptive and for me kinda part of what makes it work. I don't want to say it's like intention early. But diana did not fit in to this family. It was like different energy. A different vibe. And there's a great line in the queen. Which is the peter morgan. movie about. Princess princess diana's death and the week after it. Which i recommend starring helen mirren great stuff as sort of like great crown prerequisite or if he also available on netflix. Right now justify But the character in the queen says you have to remember that there. Diana are diana or two completely different people. And i think the performance captures a lot of that and like the scene. Went diana's trying to hug the queen and they're they're talking at each other and it's not just that they have philosophical emotional differences but they just come from different worlds. they have different emotions different energies. It's like total total mismatch. And that's definitely part of the problem. So when she is making her stands are expressing her. Diana s. sometimes it's really heartbreaking and sometimes are like what are you doing. This is completely wrong as encapsulated that julia did not worry me about which i appreciate from spoiler episode perspective but from a personal perspective. The phantom of the opera video cassette was hilarious and excruciating and. I do think the first time. I like fully pulled the blanket up over my head when watching it. I didn't actually watch it. The first time i had to just kind of sit like that and know that it would end soon and then i read wound to watch the facial expressions that is bisciste. Yeah and i you know i don't. I don't think that happened in relaxed. Maybe it did. I've never read it. And i think i would remember it but really the billion joel performance israel israel. Yeah and it in caps elites. Maybe i think that poor diana who had a lot going on and as you said like a lot of mental health issues and believe me and didn't have any support like her family was not very helpful or totally absent in the case of the crown. But there were also some things that just really ideologies didn't align how about that and and that scene shows you why who it really is just like so much. I can't believe we're only gonna get one season about mc oran. I feel like i m not like her biggest fan but also feel like switching the diana character after one season. I don't. I'm not really in favor of but Must be a fairly significant time job. i'm curious to see how season five goes

Los Angeles Rams Hold Off Brady, Bucs Behind Goff’s 3 TDs

"Okay skip. We're going to get through this today. Let's talk about what we saw last night. The rams did beat the buccaneers last night. Twenty seven twenty four despite rushing for less than two yards per carry jared goff picked apart tampa secondary for three hundred seventy six yards and three touchdowns including over one hundred yards to both robert woods and cooper kupp. Meanwhile tom brady finished with two hundred sixteen passing yards on season low five yards per attempt and also threw two interceptions including one on the bucks. Final drive when they had a chance to tie or take the lead the game the forty three year old quarterback brady his third loss in prime time. This season shannon. How much was tom brady to blame last night. A lot of the half out of ten. Don't put this in primetime. Tom brady played more prime time games. Nine super bowl is that prime time thirteen. Afc championship game. Is that prime time. All the playoff game. Don't put that in prime time. Tom brady have played bad. It's as simple as their tom. Brady has not been good. This year needs played here. Well he played good if he hasn't put a game together No our young watched game at carolina just a week ago. Like virtuoso masterpiece when comprehend. Please just let me have my moment. just let me by moment. Twenty two incompletions. Wow if that good you thought about forty eight times you have slightly more than two hundred sixteen to one dollars that good. Goodbye it now. This what we hear brady was inaccurate all night last night on deep balls. Oh for six with two interceptions on throws twenty yards downfield skip bayless and pro football focus. Se tom brady's doing great during the ball down the field the last four gave. He's one for twenty. Throw twenty yards down the field with three interceptions. Now here the stat that somebody. I don't know who came up with this. That they call it a. He leaves the league you this. Tom brady leads. The league in a twenty yard throws sixty me lead to leave but he's twenty. Seven and completion percentage four and affection which third most. What was the final score. Time killed. kim. I will let you have. It was sixty five to nothing more. If i'm not janey why. What did i predict the finals. Go be laughing yesterday. you have no idea. I don't remember shad have really did better. Staleness only got one pro. Football focus also came all stay at near distance. It doesn't matter if the ball is complete or incomplete. Otto completion matter. It doesn't matter because don because you've been telling me all he does is drink and done his backs. Skip good if i thought about georgia. Being the hall of fame. Completions didn't battle. All i was only refuting your point. He's just a dink dunker now. That's what said he's got no arm. He's a noodle arm spaghetti white house. Completion percentage down the field who leads the whole. Nfl in air distance. And i think he just pulled away. Last night beth as consequential stat you saw him throwing the ball down the field lighting and dunk last night when he didn't think and how do look when did he deacon dunk. I think conductor for net three times that he dropped all three of them note that he had antonio brown hair thirteen target eight catches for fifty seven yards seven point one of material. He had ten targets. The chris with seven yards seven catches for fifty three yards. Dak seven point six. He had one receiver that had a double digit average own completion. You he deacon and dunkin what was the final score deferrals court with tom brady lost and the rams one. That's what jared goff. First of all jerry gulf in charm paid like the gave this thing away because they got ultra conservative and they got careless the football but somebody makes go but scale you look off last night. There's no way around it. I don't want to hear anything about the defense. Because i told you everybody based everything because if you wash tampa bay everybody wanted to annoy them after. They did with green bay. And i'll say if you watch that defense. I say the into who said i didn't get to us. They can be hey. I think they're very undisciplined. I out of position a lot more. You think but because that pass rush covers up but they don't get home they can be had. Whoa that they're coming. They could be had skilled. Tom brady he got happy feet. Another one get here and they gotta run. They really do a whole lot but they got around him a little bit and he had had like polka polka. Like do the poco.

Is COVID-19 seasonal after all?

"Hello this is corona cost a daily podcast all about the corona virus. I'm health reported teigen tyler. I'm physician and journalist alter norman swan. It's tuesday the twenty four. Th of november cinnamon one of the questions that we've gotten a lot from people about over the course of this pandemic so far is whether it's seasonal and on one hand yes. The melbourne second wave happened in winter. But it's hard to really taes out. What's the difference between seasonality and a new virus in globe of susceptible people but in the states which is going into its wind up and also in in other parts of the northern hemisphere was seeing a really straight upwards curve a really scary looking curve. so what do we know about the season -ality or otherwise of coronavirus were joining the first wave. It was said that there was so much corona virus around swamped the effects of seasonality. Although most people expected this to be a winter virus a seasonal virus but they couldn't guarantee it and you just weren't necessarily seeing the effects of it on this week's health report podcast. I've been talking to chris maureen maher. Who's these of health metrics and evaluation in seattle and they've been doing global modeling now on the covid nineteen pandemic which has turned out to be pretty accurate so for the world for different countries and for the united states and they say that when they look at the big data they do find a seasonal effect and they. It's actually quite strong and the fascinating thing is that they predict that the virus in the united states will start to peak deaths from the coronavirus will peak roundabout inauguration day and tail off towards the end of january into february without any vaccine. You'll see a natural peaking and tailing off. We won't go down to zero but it will start to ebb away so in the joe biden was like trump. he would take four credits on day. Two of his presidency for turning around the pandemic. but it'll be natural. What's the driver for it to pay them. Is it that people interacting with a set number of people and you just kind of run out of context. How does how does that pay. Start to come down again. No it's obviously a little bit of an effect of natural museum that but even by january you still not going to see the majority of americans infected with the covid nineteen virus so a little bit of an effect because what they say. Is that even twenty percent coverage of immunity associated with some social distancing cooed tailing off. Now i think they it's simply how their virus response to temperature and although it's still in the middle of winter and pretty cold there are plenty of viruses that have most of their fates in autumn early winter and seem to die way in midwinter and influences a bit like that where influenza unistrokes tends to hit more in autumn than winter depths of winter. Not that we have much of winter. So yep they think it's seasonal tending often and if you are lucky with the vaccine the vaccine does prevent transmission then have an even more dramatic faked as the year goes through. Yeah i suppose they were some early nickname mention. It starts came out earlier in the saying that the virus survived longer at lower temperatures and in low humidity are. Maybe that's the season thing. But what does it mean for us australia. Coming into next year's winter if a vaccine isn't widely available by that time well if we've kept our international borders secure and we haven't had too many outbreaks and we're still social distancing to some extent when we need to enroll able to control then maybe not very much because the won't very much virus around but if there is a significant say outbreak from hotel quarantine for still doing it at that point. Then you could see a major takeoff and victoria. Tasmania parts of south. Australia would be vulnerable to that. So i'm trying to cross my mind that because we have talked about season on corona's before and i feel like we said that it wasn't safe no so will be wrong or is this just more information. I think you feel the wrong thing. T very different. I remember that people saying that probably was a season paper. You couldn't see it. In all the noise of an strength of the pandemic the pandemic was so strong it was masking a seasonal fake underneath the name what they thought was as the pandemic turned into an epidemic and the virus became endemic in other words. Steady in the community and keeping on recurring. Then you would see the effect of seasonality which might mean then you'd see a surge as the goats colder. I like that vision of memory. Yes yeah but no doubts kirk listeners. Who got a much better than either you. Army will fix us up. That's the lately and speaking of other research related things that we've talked about before and we now have more information about Antibodies on the only thing in our immune system and this nearly such out of monash university that shows that perhaps immunity to the coronavirus is long lasting than we feed. Yes so little bit of physiology. Here there are two elements to attack or threaten sweep elements to attacking a virus delicious. Talk of two of them for the moment. The first wave is really the antibody those chemicals in the bloodstream that attach to the spikes of the corona virus and stop it docking with tissues in our body and hopefully kill the virus as well and they're called neutralizing antibodies. now they'll come out of nowhere. They're produced by white blood cells white blood cells that produce antibodies b cells and some b cells have memory for the antibodies. They need to produce. It was a waste of energy then producing antibodies. All the time to a virus that they're not seeing but if avars enters the body they wake up and they say oh hello. I've seen this one before and they start manufacturing. Antibodies and this study identify found a way through using monoclonal. Antibodies to actually attach themselves to these b cells. Identify them they to twenty five people in march who had corona virus and follow them through to september looking at these b. memory cells and what they showed was that they maintain themselves in other words. You can still find b. Memory cells at the end of eight months so that suggests that the body retain the memory and the ability to produce antibodies to the coronavirus sars cov e to. This is not a peer reviewed study hasn't been published in a major journal yet but it is an interesting finding very sophisticated study and great needs to people who've had coronavirus but also for the quest for vaccine. That's absolutely right

John Gorman Discusses the Use of Opportunity Zones to Address Social Determinants

"Welcome to the healthcare policy podcast on the host. David. Intra Cosso. During this podcast saw discussed efforts to address social determinants of health with John Gorman chairman of the nightingale partners and founder and former Executive Chairman of Gorman Health Group. John Welcome to the program. Thanks David. Great to be here. especially with another native DC guy here most welcome John's by is, of course, posted on the podcast website. Briefly on background, the ongoing covid nineteen pandemic has exposed. The country's failed to adequately address the social determinants of health. Generally defining health access and quality education, economic circumstances, food security, social conditions, and environmental factors. It is estimated that where people live work and socialize determines as much as sixty percent of their health status. Whereas formal medical care accounts for just ten percent. For example concerning. Circumstances forty years of wage stagnation among lower income earners has left forty five percent of working age Americans. With either no health care insurance for insurance without a pocket expenses so high. They avoid sinking care went for example, they developed covid nineteen related symptoms. Healthcare policy makers have slowly begun to take an interest in addressing sto ages as a way to improve health delivery by increasing increasing appropriate utilization and reducing costs. For example, Medicare, advantage plans which enroll more than one third of all Medicare beneficiaries have recently been given regulatory authority to offer Ma benificiary supplemental benefits beyond medical care such as mail deliveries, home modifications, and Personal Care Services. With beginning, discuss, addressing, social determine, specifically use of what are termed opportunities zones. Again. John Gorman. So Jon with that as background. Louis. Begin by asking if you could provide a brief overview of nightingale. Sure David Nangle partners is one of these weird opportunities zone funds that came out of trump's big tax giveaway bill It was actually Cory Booker's program that was designed to encourage investment in real estate and disadvantaged communities and I was sitting on my ass retired last spring and got a notification that the irs had just completely revamped the rags to allow opportunities own capital to be used not just for real estate investment. But also for leases one portly for working capital or for meeting the business requirements of a new company inside one of the nine thousand roughly nine thousand opportunities zones around the country and those opportunities owns David are all. Severely, economically disadvantaged and more importantly medically underserved, and because the irs allowed now opportunities own capital to be used for working capital for meeting business requirements. That's what opened the door to allow us to use opportunities on Capitol to make large scale investments in social determinants of health intervention. So nightingale partners with insurers with health systems with large medical groups to finance design launch, and where necessary execute on our goals to improve. The quality of care for vulnerable populations. In this country, a lot of people like to say and I love it that we packed a Republican billionaire tax shelter in order to improve care for black drought people on that gets me up every morning. Sir Thank you. So this as you noted, this was a provision in the December seventeen tax bill. Specifically page one, hundred, and thirty. This was picked up this previous legislation as you noted, that as you mentioned senator from New Jersey Cory Booker but also the South Carolina African American Republican, the only one Tim Scott. So this is picked up in the tax bill previous legislation and you mentioned the nine thousand. So these are census tracts that meet this low income community criteria wrote and then explain to me. Governors than have to select a discrete number. That could benefit from this. Tax Advantage program is that correct doubts correct and there was a little bit of mischief but some of the governors in the designation of some of those areas and there's been, you know some gamesmanship with this story like you know Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey is. Used an opportunity zone fund open up frigging LAUNDROMAT. In Asbury, Park with Bruce, springsteen cats not the kind of stuff that we do. I'm not surprised to hear that I guess the former governor is a is obsessed with. Mr Asbury Park and again just so on. Understand better more clearly, this is the tax advantage here is that by investing the capital gains on your investment, you can avoid paying the. Twenty three percent the capital gains tax and that basically. Sure go ahead, go ahead. Well, basically, the way it works is that if you invest money or capital gains in and opportunities zone and you leave it in for at least ten years, not only is the initial investment completely tax free but then all of the proceeds that you make on that investment are completely tax free. So high net worth individuals. And family offices large corporations the generate large amounts of capital gains love this program, and indeed it opened up about six point two trillion dollars in available capital based on the amount of capital gains that we generate in our economy. So of that amount, David Roughly a hundred billion dollars has been invested thus far into opportunities zones off. The roughly eight months programs operate.

"Chris. We're back in transparency connection. I mean these are two things that millennials value to a very high degree that frankly they really may not have they have been born twenty forty sixty years prior the earlier generations talk about these two words. Why are the important I think one of the biggest things and actually kind of my own personal platform is around? How do we bring more empathy and more connection into our lives whether it be with my daughters my wife my friends or within our corporations and that's essentially what actually instigated this book and I think one of the biggest missing pieces is real connection and for so many years we've been brought up with bureaucracy and layers and we've been told that for example you can you can't be friends with the people that are on your team that work beneath you and we gotta throw all that out the window and you know what I tell people on their first day that they need to do when they either oversee a new team or someone joins it? Is You follow them on social media and they're like what no way. I'M NOT GONNA follow my people. Isn't that creepy Mike Wolf. It seems creepy than you might WanNa work on that relationship because it shouldn't seem creepy and and the reason I use that as when you come in on a Monday and you can see the five different people on your team's activities whether it be a habitat build or the new puppy that someone might have adopted you can actually hit the ground round running and say Joseph Dude. Your puppy is the cutest thing I've ever seen. We've been to find him. You know without all that inbetween stuff and what that does that it creates a real connection and relationship the other piece of it is and I use my Kitson as my example who's in senior executive at the Home Depot. He opens up his one on ones with all of his people and he gives them one of two options. You can either talk about work stuff or life stuff off in eighty percent of the time they talk about life stuff in. Is that a bad investment of time absolutely not because R._O._Y.. Will follow once you have a real connection in place with your employees. So that's a connection side. The transparency side transparency is often misinterpreted by senior executives or entrepreneurs that they either have to disclose all of their financials and I know entrepreneurs out there that would not be the right approach so you don't have to do that or that. It means on the other side of the spectrum that they have to cry in front of their people in no you don't have to cry in front of your people instead what they mean by transparency is they just weren't context next so when you make a mistake and we all do as entrepreneurs when you make a mistake go ahead and use that as an example of what you did wrong and then how you guys are all going to learn from it. If you go after a big piece of business that you don't win. Tell tell them why it was that you didn't win. Tell them what their efforts how their efforts contributed them to actually taking you to the next level with that pitch that you might have lost and so with transparency all it means. Is that you as a leader. We need to be able to create this picture for your people as to why you're doing the things you're doing so you know. It's funny a lot of these things it's kind of common sense but it's now time to introduce them into our corporations and companies commonsense common sense isn't always common practice fire nation. These are the type of things few applaud your business. You're going to be on that cutting edge. You're going to be treating people the way they want to be treated. You'RE GONNA be incentivizing people at the way they want to be. Incentivize in. You'RE GONNA be running a business. That's exciting for every single person within now Chris one thing that you have is a seventy thirty rule and that grass is always greener complex kind of break those things down for fire nation how this Kinda applies to millennials those in that workplace environment. I think we can attest to this regardless of where we are in our generation but I know for me I call it the pinterest station of our generation where everything has to be this ridiculously perfect thing and I go back acted this example of I think it was my daughter's fourth birthday. We were exhausted we had we have a younger daughter. While my wife throws me her phone and was a pin for her birthday. The next morning a Saran wrap around her door with a hundred balloons that when she would open the door they would all cave in and I turned to my wife. I was like this is exhausting. The other example I uses on the first day of school. Everyone's got those perfect pictures of their child and says Abigail first grade her favorite food. Is You know cheddar cheese crackers and it's like it's just it's an absolutely exhausting life that we all are trying to exude to the world in so we have this idea that the grass this is always greener on the other side and the reality is that it's not in so we have got to especially with the millennials in younger millennials they spend their whole lives comparing their insights to other people's outsides and so we have to encourage them that guess what there is no perfect world out there so that's where my seventy thirty roll comes in and my seventy thirty role is that thirty percent of your job is GonNa suck. Seventy percents should fuel you up. If I were you up. Get you excited. Keep going to work but thirty percents just gonNA suck for me. Thirty percent anything within an excel document is in my thirty percent right like we all have those things that we don't necessarily have a passion for but that is the kind of harsh reality not only of our work but but life thirty percent of life is GonNa be hard and so you know I also keep in tact like this. What a <unk> kind of sitting in your car roll which is two days in a row your dreading coming into work and it's not associated to your own procrastination the nation or self-development meaning that you're pushing yourself out of your own comfort zone then we've gotta talk about that and people ask me like Chris? How do you exit people? How do you fire people? I usually have a conversation about the sit in your car roll and I say are you are you. You look look like you dread work. Are you reading coming into work and usually it's like yeah. I Hate I hate. I don't like my job anymore. My passions of evolve is like okay great. Let's talk about what does fire you up and I'll introduce you to people outside of these walls that will maybe that'd be open. Those things up to you so that's I think a big thing that we need to be introducing as leaders is just the idea that there is no perfect thing out there fire nation thirty percent of your job is going to suck. I mean let's be real. You're getting paid for a reason not because you just getting up doing everything you want all day every single day. No your pay because you're doing work. You're doing things that maybe other people don't WanNa do don't like doing in thirty. percent of your job is gonNA suck. The seventy percent should fill you up shit excite. You should fire you up and if it's flipped if seven percent of your job sucks only three percent fires you up then it's time to start having conversations with people above you and saying hey we got to switch on things around here otherwise you know there's going to be some issues and I love that the whole idea about how it's so easy to flip open instagram all these other apps and seeing that one second of everybody's perfect life you know that one picture with a baby smiling at their birthday party with cake in their mouth but then you know that our before the hour after just pure misery it'd be was just screaming crying and everybody's exhausted but even though one second you got up and then we look at that picture like Oh my God what a perfect life fire nation compare and despair you will always despair when you're comparing hearing yourself to anybody except yourself. Yesterday you can compare yourself to yesterday because if you are winning that battle that comparison you're winning it life but the reality is fire nation. The grass is not always greener that little glimpse. Of that quote unquote perfect manicured moment you're seeing is not amazing like you know I love. There's this one video remain that I saw like these beautiful bikini models like on a beach into Hiti in like it looks like life was perfect perfect but then like they cut to the before and the after they were just like Oh. My God is so Winnie the sands. I'm getting bitten by San Fleas like let's get Outta here like they were knows rable. Totally they did that. One smile on one click lose the example in the book and I also tell everyone on my team because I've been there. I called my river runs through moment where I was out in Idaho. I hired a fishing guide. I gave him six hundred bucks and I was like listen. I six hundred bucks on my phone and I was I. I don't care about catching any fish shout here. All I want is I want a shot of the fish in the net and then I want a video of me. A river runs through in it like Brad Pitt with the mountains in the background the river kind of flowing through and me just doing the back and forth with the Rod. That's all I care about. This guy turns me. He's like wait. You're GonNa pay me six hundred bucks for an Instagram Post. I was like no. It's like three hundred bucks each so let's go and I use it was a low moment for me you know and and I use that as an example to to to everyone on the team and I think that's also a little bit of like that transparency things. I've been there I get it. You know I've done it before. I'm not proud Chris. You believe rightfully so that purpose in passion will win but for fire donation for the listeners back up that belief yet so I think life needs to be a ruthless pursuit of passions and <hes> I think we often times in our world get distracted and I think any entrepreneur they can attest to what that tastes in feels like right. I mean you're essentially creating pass around your passions and so how do we better create that environment for for the people that are working for us that are joining our journeys and on the other side of that is that especially statistically if you look at this next generation and then as we look into Gen Z.. It's no longer a nice to have in terms of purpose. You've gotTA OUGHTA be bigger and representative of something that is making a difference in the world in some form or fashion and if you don't have that you're not going to be able to attract talent and so as you look look at as you develop your company's what is it that you represent that is bigger than just a bottom line or some sort of profit margin and so you know I go back to our own journey within my agency twenty money to squared we put a stake in the ground and we announced to everyone that our purpose was together. We give rise to change and with that we'd give everyone you know changing the world for the better and we'd give everyone five days off to donate whatever time they want to the nonprofit that our choice so proxy what we preach once again there's nothing worse than hypocrisy. If you're GONNA say that you're going to do something go ahead and actually follow through with that and I think that is as an example of creating environment around purpose and then actually following through on it the other side of the passion side. Is that oftentimes. I don't think people are passionate about their jobs as maybe we want them to be and and I talk about supporting everyone side-hustle if you don't have someone that is super passionate about what they're doing go ahead and give them twenty percent of their time back to create their own thing or to to to to do something that they're truly passionate about and you look at companies like Google companies like facebook some of the most innovative companies in the world have structured programs around just this but if you do not introduce purpose and passion to this next generation and you will not only lose out but you will not be able to recruit the most talented people or anyone to your company so I try to make that first and foremost for for for anyone starting a business or building one fire nation what the difference are you making in the world in the reality is kind of a harsh question because if you really look in the mirror and ask yourself that question you're gonNa come up empty and let's saying every single person hearing these words are gonNA come up empty but a lot of people are I mean I asked myself at this very very question. Eight years ago when I came up empty and then it really was at Ice Stein quote try not to become a person of success but rather person value that quotes had me flip my mindset and say I haven't been producing any value to this world. I've just been chasing this false sense of success like whatever that is. I don't even know what that is. I'm just chasing it born. I flipped it on his head and I said I'M GONNA give value to this world in an area that I'm passionate about that. I believe I have a purpose in and that's having great ray conversations with successful and inspiring entrepreneurs and sharing them with you.

I have no words to describe how I feel. But I I honestly have this kind of like, maybe it's because I'm getting older, and I'm becoming like a woman I'm twenty eight now. So I feel like my early twenties was definitely a confusing period for me and for I think a lot of women, especially it's like south down. And so I don't know. I think now I'm just way more comfortable. I think with my just vocals have been doing so much more. You know, you never stop learning. So I still do kind of my singing causes every week. That are good for you. Yeah. Yeah. And not like completely just I can't deal with like hangovers much anymore. Like, it's real Honey at twenty eight you're giving up. I know one this morning. "He would come on in talk pats and tv like oh hey do sick to baseball stain your lane so what are your you're telling me guy that drives round all day and listens to talk radio your more equipped to have a patriots opinion then a guy that actually happened play for the red sox get doesn't make any sense but that's how we initially reacted soon as someone said something they were not condition to expect from that person that's talking we resist it we have a hard time with it i think you're feeling empathy for some what not the most sympathetic figures in our society i just and i get it like you know chris long he's a great guy i've never met chris he's a seems to be informed on some political issues he certainly on interest in sharing those points of view but i just don't think about chris's like super persecuted like man he really has to keep his political opinions bottled up way makes millions of dollars playing for the eagle though calcuable you're saying a long while on hold on i just think that somehow we've paint this picture of like somehow athletes are in this really compromise position in society while they make millions entertaining us that they can't let their full political flag fly and i'm just telling you dude at home depot like we just gave the several different scenarios make minimum wage to help you down the aisle to find your latest little installment on your house he doesn't get to do it either but we don't sit around and go hey you know real shame that we're reducing him to working at home depot he's probably got some hot takes on immigration but with athletes we act like you really limiting them as human beings you really reducing them to just being your entertainment you know what everybody in society is reduced to the level of their employment often it doesn't mean the can't had these beliefs but they don't use their employment as their platform to share them with us okay you're not wrong about anything you just said there will but you're also being.
