And he may get him anyway. And the phrase that I use last year saying, because no one thought he could win it twice, I said, but if he makes an undeniable case, undeniable case, if he's the one seat, and he's average in a triple double. I don't know how I don't know how he doesn't fit it again. And it's just like with the Broncos and Russell Wilson, we come in here like week after week, say, it can't get any worse. "We're still looking at Wednesday's injury report, but for the Chargers, everybody's getting a little practice, and there's no D and ds. Anybody that's not practicing is on IR. Right. Those are the only guys that are not practicing, but knock on wood doesn't this feel weird? It feels good. It feels really weird because when you look at the Cleveland Browns, there's a slew of dudes of DNP. There's a lot. There is a lot of 15 or 17 something crazy. There's a lot of people on this list. Yeah, in years past, this would be flipped. We would be the one with the scroll of players that are not practicing and the other team had like a handful. Not this year, folks this year, we've only got one two and three, four, 5, 6. People on the list and everybody's practicing. Yeah, three of them are limited, but they only guide on their list that's like come on dude is Chris Harris. You know, like, you asked the point or else they would have put them on IR. He had to be so close to being able to play. He has to be back this week. Coach coach talked about him last during his most recent press conference and he said that, you know, he practiced in pads last week. There are really wanting these guys to get healthy and stay healthy. Right. It feels like he's probably going to play this week. He got in limited, but, you know, Justin Jackson Derwin and Chris Harris are limited. So everyone else is full. So that's pretty crazy. Yeah. And yeah, and it's crazy because the browns have an extra day rest too, 'cause they put Sunday, we play Monday. Their list is huge, man. "I. I don't think davis ben bad as people want to say he's been He was lined up on terry mclaren pretty much. All game except for mclaren was in the slot last week and outside of getting beat on one double move On the ball that should have been picked off by early and somehow made it through his hands He played pretty well then. I didn't think he was terrible today. Either i think they've they put him in. Some rough spots asked a lot of him you know. He spent most of last season covering the toughest assignment on the opposing offense. And he's been doing some of that again. This year. I think people really underrate. Mike william or mike davis. I think it's easy to look at him and say that he sucks. The you know he. He isn't that great. And i think people have his first couple of years kinda stuck in their head when they think about him but that guy was an animal for them. Last year he ran gas a little bit at the end of the year. Had a couple of bad games late But i think he's fine as c. one or cb too. I you know. They're getting pressure and the defensive line is doing their job and affecting the quarterback davis can hang with pretty much anybody in the league and he showed that last year so i. I don't have any concerns. Michael davis has stood out. Has he been amazing shutdown. No he was really good against maclaurin last week. And i didn't really see any granted i haven't seen the twenty two yet but i didn't i haven't seen any glaring issues from Outside of maybe one or two missed tackles today. That really raised in eyebrow. How about he has some issues in the run game for sure but I think what we're seeing is asante samuel ascend and everybody goes. Oh my god. This is the best corner on the team. And maybe he is through two games. He's played great. But that doesn't mean. Michael davis hasn't been good. Maybe hasn't been as good as asante. Samuel any wanna flip flopped. Samuels the new. Cb one and michael davis cb too but right now. They're pretty close. I think michael. They've done pretty good. I think Davis has some problems in the run game. But i thought davis Did really really good maclaurin last week. So i you know. I don't have any issues with him right now. And i know some people do but i i didn't have any issues. What do you think about the third quarter. Though chris harris you think the team missed him today. I didn't really. I mean other than hall having that terrible angle on that play right before halftime where almost scored on that hook and ladder with cd lamb and and is equal elliott. Other than that bonehead play. I didn't have any problem with any of the cb threes today. I mean you know. They went up against the dallas team that gave that had four hundred plus yards passing last week. And they've limited them. Do i think two hundred twenty two hundred and thirty yards passing this week. So i mean part of that was dallas game plan but they also didn't give up a ton of huge plays and they were able to get off the field at times when they needed to so i. I really didn't have a big issue with the secondary. Didn't think anybody had a terrible game. But i think they're obviously better with with chris harris junior on the field Because he's able to play multiple positions. He plays the star. He plays the money he plays. He plays outside. They haven't played safety. He's kind of all over the field and he's another one of those guys who helps disguise the coverages. "Thirty three touchdowns thirty interceptions. I quarterback to do that. Check this out with drew brees and get. It was a little different air. We talk about that all the time. He had like you know ninety three yards and four touchdowns he was drinking and dunkin but to me that was some of the most impressive. I knew we all knew he could throw it like he did right. We'll to hair. That was shocked by it right and you remember the super bowl only play on long play. Don't belong play was from him right. Yep what was what we didn't know was could cookie show patients. Could he show caution. could he check down. You know what he do those things so he did do those things. And that was what was most impressive to me because we the longbow. My guys always collar. Murray five five touchdowns four. He threw four and one he ran in. And i gotta give a shout out to deandra. How rob he i. He made that catch at the back of the end zone. Where he told the line to stay inbounds and then the play he may in the reds are. We caught it and stopped. Doing diamond spun the other way and ended up scoring. He was fantastic but collar. Murray last year. And i have to admit i was a little down because of the way he ended last season. But now i'm thinking as many people said it was just a shoulder injury because remember rob. He looked great in the first half of the season before he got hurt. And yesterday i thought he looked like that guy again so he was really great. But you know you're two-day take a look at you figure some stuff out. What what adjustments does he have to make going forward. He had three hundred. Thirty seven yards a touchdown pick. But is there an adjustment for quarterback you know once they get enough film and on you keep improvement man. You know young kid. He loves the game He works extremely hard and everybody loves them. So he's a he's a guy he's the guy everybody wants to go out there and have his back and compete for him and he's got the he's i'm i'm impressed. Man when you can close out the game you know but they converted for their downs. Close out the game in the fourth quarter. That collects factor man. That's like tom brady russell. Russell wilson those guys not finish the game so it's good to see him doing that at a as a young age you play you know your first most of your career with denver and now you're you're saying you're with. The chargers is that i'd be in traded within the division or going to ashes. That go into a team with the division does or doesn't even matter doesn't you don't even think about it or is it. Cam newton was one of the worst pastors in the nfl last year. There is no doubt my mind. This is great for players across the board but again not huge factor in my rankings. Because i cam. And here's the thing with the patriots back you remember. They drafted damian harris two years ago and essentially red-shirted him for a year. Are they going to do the same thing with andre stevenson. I'm not really sure about that. But they've got two young guys behind up. I don't wanna call damon harris super established. But they've got two young guys in damian harris jr and excuse me roderick stevenson and jj taylor who are kind of like young younger backups. For the guys who are more established. Obviously james white is super established as the passing down back and damian harris. I'm not denying that. Those guys can be factored. That throw a little bit of a wrench into investing in damian harris or or james light and chris this to piggyback off of that. I know it's not a big not a big move..

Take a deep breath. Still have a lot of people asking questions because of their fantasy drafts. I've got one today. I've got multiple this weekend. So drafting season is not over yet but we gotta make that transition really quick. That's why we've got my guy. And we'll have a pretty good sense with more than a week to go of where these teams really stand so anyway your thoughts on sort of the different schedule this year. One last preseason game final cuts yesterday waiver claims all just went through an hour and a half ago right. Yeah like. I'm i have to say you're great on the eagle games.
