"Ghetto buying shelf space in stores. And you buying it from store after seeing TV ADS. They would advertise places like podcasting. We'll ship it direct to you. You buy blades from us. By subscription. There are a lot of Then that kind of spawned the Food box movement and You know Hellofresh there've been so many of those we. We did blue apron for years. It's that most people don't have any idea how this actually works. But the the way that groceries are placed in stores. Is this insane crazy ass backwards process? Where like the the company of its leading in the category? If you're like the number one cereal brand you have a lot of say over which cereal gets placed where you pay for it. Basically it is is in fact. Most of the revenue was talking to some of the most of the revenue in a grocery store doesn't come from the consumers that comes from the brands. Yeah so it's replacement Yeah Marquez. Do is most of your revenue from Youtube ads that they sell or is it from ads that you sell or you do a little bit of both. I do both. I think the the over fifty percent would still be ads. That YOUTUBE CELLS. And but yeah where we can do our own. Ad Placement. I'd like any rate. We want on demand we can choose not to have a placement for a video or we can any video so that have a sales people selling for you. That'd be me you're the me. And the INBOX. Yeah that's the sales team. So it's it's very very picky and we don't have to. I mean because we only two week so if video sponsored. It's it's a whole whole ordeal so it's a whole ordeal a lot. Trust me I know we have. We not only have a sales department. We have a continuity department because they have to check the ads to make sure the copies accurate. They have to make sure the right ad ran at the right time. It becomes a very elaborate process It's but it's a little different for what we're doing. What we're more traditional broadcast is more like a radio show that a youtube video. I'm just curious because I see I pay for you to read so or premium now so I don't see any of the ads and then do you do interstitial in the video or I mean I see the ads in the Below the video in the comments or whatever the Oh you You're talking about the like the mid rolls that are that play in. Yeah you can do so you can choose to admit rolls two videos that are greater than ten minutes long so if we have a video. That's long enough. That we feel has a spot for mineral. We can add one But not every videos over ten minutes long so not video us what we will interstitial where you actually stop doing ad and come back right. I have never done that. That's I've done post roll ads and sort of like we finished the the video they run came to watch. And then we go right into the sponsor of the video if we've done sort of more integrated stuff that usually doesn't like stop and start the ad and then resume it's not really as structured as that but we have done Jesse curiosity. That would rebel if you started doing stuff like that. I don't know about rebel. I've I've sort of kept is on a lot of other channels in similar spaces that do start to do things like that and I can see the way the audience reacts and everyone does it differently to at some. Do It really. Well some do it Just like Willy Nilly. They'll do it for any you know whatever sponsor We have a channel sponsor as well where it's like they brand right exactly China. Debrecen is a channel sponsor so they'll sponsor essentially a couple of videos during the year based on what makes sense for their brand. And so those are the closest we might get to like a an interruption. But it's all seamless in the flow of the video. So do you usually isn't it? Doesn't feel like any reason to rebel right right. No you're happy. Yeah Yeah Yeah I can tell. He's happy he's got. How many red cameras more than we need? Send some over a year. Now we don't we could. What would we do with them? We couldn't do it. Thirteen years ago we started putting it into an annual report and so We Your Business is selling this information Consulting with research and strategy groups are are We give away our research for the most part and our revenue comes from advising you know huge fortune. One hundred companies and governments and stuff like that each So so yeah so. We produce this report every year. Typically it launches on the main stage at South by South West. And as you know this year it's not Because there is no south by so you know but it's it's It's available and we actually. There were some tremendously interesting findings. This year that I think will be super interesting. Everybody listening that ranges from You know arise in digital emissions like our homes or sort of shedding data and. That's you know interesting. It's good it's bad it's Potentially problematic There is A lot happening with a lot of the big technology firms getting into farming like big big tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft. Getting into forming. Yeah Yeah Microsoft Basically has fairly huge stakes now in two different farms. Let Yeah so I remember Elon Musk's brothers saying the bit next huge investment opportunities food. Yeah it's it well and now we're seeing it And people just aren't aware so there's that is bringing new technologies to food. Yeah so it's it's You know how can we use precision data mining and some robotics and five G. to try to get a better handle on? There's some crazy interesting. Experiments around mixing the food for cows and real time per each cow to help their overall nutrition level. You know just picked vitamins. You were talking about yes totally. Not just for humans anymore there. You Go So there's that we're tracking some really interesting movement in like a in the cloud on Amazon's. Aws Robo maker is probably GonNa go live sometime soon. And that's going to basically allow any business that wants to have access to robots You know within reason but that that that will start your shift all kinds of things. It's super interesting This is a huge year for off planet exploration and even though today's SPACEX launch was thwarted. I don't think that necessarily means that you know we're in. We're in for a rough year this year for off planet exploration. Yeah because over the next eighteen months so we're always tracking space anyways But over the next eighteen months there's a couple of launch windows to make it easier for us to get to Mars. This is a huge important year for space related initiatives Some of the initiatives involve human. Some of them are robots There is some agriculture projects like space agriculture Spe- you know. All kinds of Microsoft launches has starlink was supposed to go up today and Starling I Screw the amateur. Astronomers it's a problem. Yeah well look I'm not. I'm being facetious here but The the idea has launched now. What one hundred twenty in another sixty times? Since that are planned they planned twelve thousand berry lower orbit satellites. The idea is to give gigabit Internet access to every corner of the globe but neighbor. They've been saying that this year they'll have it'll start going people start being able to use it so again. You know it'll be interesting to see what happens because there are worldwide five G. Two Find Geez. Obviously something else we're tracking. There's some components there's problems with five G. because of component accessibility from wall way right and and Regulations that prohibit certain components from being used the cable and the cable industry is in the process of launching. It's ten gigabit Networks so you can give it speeds little lag and we've got now space-based Internet so there's GonNa be a lot of development there over the next year to eighteen months. We moved our quantum like quantum and edge computing have been on our weak signals list for a long time and they finally jumped to the main trend list Because of some developments that we've been seeing and while. I don't think quantum supremacy is knocking on our door next week. I do think that there's going to be some interesting commercial. Applications so research opportunities of all people is selling a quantum computer. Yeah is it real depends. Do you remember the dealing? I mean I still around the dealing quantum system. I think it depends on your I think it depends on how you find a quantum computer. So it's not really a quantum computer. It's it's like kind of like. At and T.'s. Five GE is not. I really five G. Yeah here's what I would say. I think we are in a transition. That's GonNa last decade or so or more and as we move through this transition You know I don't think we will look back at this moment in time and say Oh this five. G. Network was true five zero. This quantum computer was really what we meant. When we said Quantum I think we're there's a ton of technologies from artificial intelligence to synthetic biology and synthetic media ambient computing. You know these new network infrastructures that are all in the process of evolving and we're living through it in right now. I'm still backing Microsoft's doing food. This is it this is for Microsoft's food farm beats a page a edge in Iot for agriculture. But this this is from two thousand fifteen. So they're they`re. They're doing this more as a research project to be a product they could sell right. They're not. They're not buying farms because they want to be in the farm business. No well I so. I don't know that the answer to that is necessarily know I can tell you that. We're seeing a lot of research and a lot of investments in Indoor PLANT FACTORIES. So think of fun. We saw some of those. Yes Right Marquez. There were you could have like in your house. You can have a plant factory. Yeah a lot yeah real. It's but I mean yeah. I think that the ideas It doesn't have to be a spread out farm. There's Akwa panics. There's vertical farms aren't they? Aren't they growing stuff in salt? Mines abandoned salt mines and things like that and there's warehouses in London and Japan. Were JUST UNDERNEATH OFFICE. Buildings where things are are Growing too so again. I think this is all it makes. Sense you know like Greens from Microsoft.

"Me this my producer. He's insane. It is a lovely leather. I chose not to wear it for the show today. Show you Marquez. With the folding phones everyone we've seen so far has been kind of a disappointment not merely the Escobar Digi liked Z. Flip was there anything. Is this a category? That's being made up by companies trying to find something different or consumers demanding It's definitely closer to the I think so I. I've tried maybe six or seven folding phones now. I think Z. Flip is the closest to one that you could conceive a regular person finding a good idea but I think it is still coming from companies grasping at maybe. There's maybe there's something here. Maybe there's something to a bigger screen folding down into a smaller form factor. But then there's so many different ways to maybe do that. You know falling in with an outside screen holding out around a hinge folding with a with a a weird like like hinge in the center like as a bunch of different experiments. These Microsoft dual screens with a handle screen. Might be a way to do. I think part of the problem with everything I've seen so far is that bendable screens just really aren't very good. Yeah those are super early. That's why go ahead mark. Yeah I'm I'm really interested in seeing those when they come out they say. Holiday Twenty twenty. We'll see if that actually happens. But those since they don't rely on a flexible single display. They can do a lot more with a hinge in the middle a battery on each side and software. That sort of runs like dual screen software. Which seems a lot easier to get right right off the bat and actually offer an advantage than something totally new like a screen folding in half Google already has support for that an android. Microsoft's doing a new windows ten x. That actually is really much more than just for a duo or neo device. It's really about reinventing windows. But they don't want to scare people so it's my opinion that we'd be talking on Windows weekly about this too with Paul. Mary Jo that they're going to put it on the neo. This say this windows ten X. It's basically containerized version of windows is only you know we're making it for this new device but ultimately this is the future of windows which I think is is kind of interesting. I think I like the idea of of a book device. I don't know what about what about one that's retractable. So where would expect so Where's it going? So there's the that the I've seen over the years I've seen different prototypes in people playing with with different types of phones. So you know one is is sort of unfolding. The other one is having something embedded where you can extend that screen out. Pull it out this way. Oh I'm again My question is always. What is this additional real estate providing US? What is the solving for is that are we anticipating that people are going to somehow multitask and have like a video like a youtube video on one screen. And you're doing something on social or you're being productive on another screen or is it that people really desire you know much more real estate. I don't again I just don't see that. I don't know that that that the answer to those questions are yes. I'm happens in this business though. They are sometimes driven by the market but much more often driven by a company that has to find the next big thing Sometimes sometimes he's you're sort of searching for it and find it without anyone asking for it For me it's always been fundamentally people generally like having a bigger screen to do more things whether it's watching a video or typing email whatever it is But the bigger screen. You have the bigger device you have and the more difficult it is to hold and to put in your pocket and to put a case on and all that stuff so fundamentally shrinking the size of it down when you're not using the big screen and then expanding it out when you need. It seems like a good idea but again how you do it exactly as sort of upper grabs. Let's take a little break and there's lots more to talk about amy. I have your future today. Institutes Tech Trends report for Twenty Twenty in front of me thirteenth annual edition. Maybe we go through some of the highlights. Some you have some basic I think. What is it One two three nine basic insights and go through some of those. Amy Webb is here. She's our futurist. I met her when she came out with her. I I was it your first book. Yeah must've been years ago and that was my second actually go. I didn't I didn't know you with your first book but I out how I hacked dating website because I saw the Ted talk. Oh that's funny and now it's a movie or going to be. Yeah so the first book I knew about was The signals are talking but I see before that data a love story is that it that is it. That is the story of how I manipulated the algorithms without breaking the terms of service on a dating website. And that's how I met my husband. It worked that's amazing. Is she takes her drink. And that's it were friends how I met my husband. It worked data loves starting now. I gotta read that because I love everything else you've written signals are talking was the first book I knew you about. And of course the big nine most recently All about the bat fangs. Or what do they call the g? Mafia buffy I call them the bat fans how tech titans and they're thinking machines could warp humanity also with us As far as I'm concerned the number one star on Youtube you could take your Pudi pies and smoke them because we got Marquez. Brownlee here M. K. P. H D kind of my hero. And you've done you've done so well it's so great. Have you ever played Segue Frisbee Segue Frisbee? I made that up right out of nowhere. Because I know you're a championship Frisbee. Was IT GOPHERS WE GOLF? What do you play multimedia isn't it? I mean that's right. Yeah see I think you could use out. Segues sounds increase as long as you don't crash. Oh that's the way I see was was used to play Segway Polo same idea. Except you had a hammer. Wow Yeah but that's you know that's for later. That's for your. You know your Golden Years. Save that you can still run around our show. Did they brought to you by worldwide tech? We were in Saint. Louis we tried to get aiming to come out. She was booked But this was such a fun event we did in Saint Louis It was so great. Well you'll next time we'd love to have sure Worldwide tech blew me away so I was not it was really dimly in my awareness But then we went. We saw the advanced technology center. This is I thought. Oh that's nice. They probably have a a room somewhere with no. This is like three buildings more buildings all the time rack. After rack of the state of the art technology from the biggest tech companies and the littlest tink companies. It is amazing. Half a billion dollars in equipment hundreds of OEM's key partners ranging from high-tech heavyweights like Intel Dell EMC HP. Enterprise CISCO LITTLE GUYS to like Equifax Equinox. Getting to be a big guy too but all you know attaining all sorts of stuff. Ww trusted partner. They stay with you over the years. If you are an enterprise and you had to buy enterprise gear you know about ww t. But they're not just some distributor. They help you from day one. That's why they built the ATC their engineers use the ATC to build pilots to test a new gear to see if the gear integrates with the old gear but so cool about the advanced technology centers. You can use it to go to their and take a look. There's so much material. They're articles case studies..

"Perspective data show that they are people the sales of plateaued. Everybody who wanted one. Yes so this is. Yeah so again. This is where it's good to confront cherished beliefs So the saturation rate has reached a particular point. People are still spending money. But they're spending money on different parts of the ecosystem so You know the whole entire thing is starting to shift and change and quite frankly when apple announced whenever it was that they're going to stop releasing their quarterly sales company. Doesn't I work with big huge companies for a living When a company announces that it's no longer going to release its quarterly sales figures. Usually it's not because they're hiding the fact that they're beating you know analyst expectations well data point it's not just in phones magically is apparently for sale. They're looking for somebody to get them out of this. Hotly as possible augmented reality from Bloomberg Argon Reality Startup Magic leap. To explore a sale. They raised two billion dollars People think it might go for as much as ten billion dollars. But why would you seek a sale If things were still rosie well as a couple of other pieces of information that I think are relevant. Here one I think that J. P. Morgan now has is holding their patents as collateral That's interesting where they wanted the investors I don't know if they were one of the original investors but somehow they got I've I've been found their visited them and I know you bullish you have been always consistently bullish. You even told me it's not what you think it is. It's better than you think because I try developer version. I thought well this isn't and when we're talking about the technology itself. I stand by that. The problem is of course you've got technology and then you have the business of running a company. They're they're working on is very you know we did. It means a very long runway. I mean they have a consumer that the product that they have is nowhere near being ready for widescale use when I compare you know leap to the Hollow Lens to which is very much ready for the enterprise and not intended as a consumer device. You know those things are different and and the problem is when you're working on a groundbreaking technology That really truly functions differently than than you know. This is something new you know it needs time. And the markets doesn't allow time and The tech press doesn't allow time so this is a company that has had some financial and personnel issues as a result. Rents is that it's more of a research project one that like many research projects. I I would consider what they're doing basic research and in this country we do not have a federal government really interested right now in funding basic research So the kinds of stuff. They're working on spatial. Computing extended reality Using data at scale and weighs. We've we've really not seen before you know it's tough to fund that if you've got investors who expect a quick return degree marquess. Yeah that's every time we bring up investors. They always want the quickest return and a lot of times. I compromise the product. I'm always interested in the product. That's like my big focus is make the product as good as possible and hopefully the rest will follow but businesses don't work that way so you end up compromising the product in order to please investors and things like that. Furthermore there's a risk and I think we saw that with Google glass. We saw with the segway. I think we're seeing with folding phones. If the first products in a category don't live up to their hype. Then people might write off the whole category and. I think you know it's interesting. You're defending wearable glasses by saying it's not Google glass and I guess now want to say and it's not magically but that can't minded consumers that can kill a product I think that's that's the risk the segues that was you look so stupid on that it was it was over the problem. Is We're conflating. So if I if I hear or see one more alive. I guess it'll be a while before we see conference schedules but if I see one more time a are slash. Vr written together as though the same thing augmented reality. Virtual reality are fundamentally different. Have had like crazy. Microsoft keep saying mixed reality as the same thing they're not now and the and so you know that starts to change our understanding of things and certainly consumer expectations magically is is is not a VR device. It doesn't it doesn't do a lot right now. All of the compute is done on your body Hollow Lens is something very very different but these are all different types of devices. It just so happens that we put them on over our faces you know but that that again like we have to start meshing our expectations with with The reality of what's being built cars. Carson's introducing a new product. We put on our faces. This is the The new plague Doctor Mask What do you think you'll like it? Karston made.

Who’s Hosting the Oscars in 2020? No One.

"Talk about where the Oscars stand right now. First of all they came really quickly. This was a very short season a truncated season Monday morning at five eighteen. Am Pacific difficult getting those nominations and the show starts on February ninth. which is I think the shortest season in history? If I'm not mistaken which is really odd considering when you think we'd be elongating. These things over time to get it more content out of them but the academy decided earlier run time one week after the Super Bowl and we got some information this week first of all no host officially confirmed by the academy. How are you feeling about host? I feel great about this. There was no host last year. Yes it went fine. I thought the show was perfectly clean and the ratings were up and we got a good telecast so the running back now. I don't think that the show needs a host. I do think inc.. This means that the show's ratings will go down. You think it's a cause and effect from the no host rather than the fact that it's twenty twenty and no one watches live television login anymore. I think that that is certainly a factor and maybe a much bigger factor than the host. But I need to point out that last year. Think of all the panic and anxiety and emergency emergency podcast. We had to do because Kevin Hart was the host but then he wouldn't apologize and then he wasn't the host anymore and there was a popular Oscar and there was not a popular Oscar and there was all of this energy around the Academy Awards right now. I think there's actually a lot of energy around movies which is good. We're in a great time for movies. In nineteen seventeen win at the Globes and it's opening wide died in theaters is another time where another great film has hit theaters and people are fired up about going to the movies. That's all great. It's not great for an award show though because there's no ooh tension around what's going on other than who's going to win well counterpoint. There is a lot of attention tension around. WHO's GonNa win and and we'll talk more about that but I do think it'll be an interesting race? You pointed out there. A lot of excitement about movies and particularly a lot of movies that are nominated. And you know this is just a theory. But maybe if there's less hubbub or like dragged out controversy around the ceremony itself then people are just like like Oh the Oscars. Should I watch that. I don't know anything about you know. Maybe you're grabbing people in a moment of enthusiasm instead of fatigue I saw. There's someone on twitter. Make a suggestion which I thought was very clever now. I personally believe that when you have a year like this in which the movies are good in the racist interesting. But there isn't that anxiety that we're describing you need a host because the host creates narrative all his own are all her own. Someone suggested after seeing Will Ferrell present an award Wilford might be the best awards awards presenter in the history of awards because it feels like everything is he's doing is occurring to him in real time. which is the opposite of most people? Were just reading off a teleprompter but what if will ferrell was just the a Co presenter of every award and we just shuttled out a new person you know. Here's Meryl Streep and Feral you know. Here's here's Jack. Nicholson and Will Ferrell. Here's Isla Fisher and Will Ferrell. Let's keep bringing all these random. Does you know Chris Evans and welfare would have chemistry with all of them. He wouldn't be the quote unquote host. But he would just have to riff in in one hundred eighty second bites because what you're looking for as continuity a little bit of continuity of clarity a little bit of like what will this be like a little bit of anticipation in order for an narrative for sure and a name to stay like Will Ferrell is the Co host of the core pilot. Sure I love Will Ferrell. And he's probably ably wanted to comedians that I actually fat so I I would be open to that but I think that idea is a more specific version of large idea which is the ah the presenters are always the fun part. That's actually always the thing. At the end of the night where like what were the highlights of the Oscars besides the awards. And it's someone or a pair of people who had three minutes and they they made it work and what I like about the no host option is that it dispenses with the the monologue and all of the the creaky machinery and actually does give you the option of just let the presenter shine how do you think the show should open this year. Didn't we had a musical number last year. If I recall why was it a musical. It wasn't Queen With Adam. Lambert and performance of we are the champions God. I had blocked that. No I didn't until this moment. I think two years ago maybe mistake committing two years ago we had a justin timberlake performance opening it up a song for minions remember that wondering why the Oscars are seemingly always in peril. That's how they opened the show. The last two years not ideal totally blocked these out of my memory. It's like they don't happen I think that they should not start with a song this year. Talking to hear Houston believe it or not. Well I think that similar to in practice if maybe not an execution Emmy's it if years years ago where they had a bunch of people come out to the host And they did do a musical number and it was a little bit tongue in cheek about diversity. In a way that I didn't totally love love but get a bunch of famous people on stage to start because that's that that is. That's the thing that I want to borrow okay. So maybe it's maybe not nominees but presenters or just people you like to see. I'm sure you could get the. We always come back to the rock but like you can get him on for two minutes. I don't know put the endgame cast on. What do I

Don Johnson on His New Film 'Knives Out'

"This is popcorn where we tell you what's happening at the movies and there's a movie now that is a WHO Dunnit of sorts but to me. It's the most fun that I've had at the movies movies this year. It's called knives out. And one of the stars is my guest today. Don- Johnson here especially little torture chamber. We Ah the black inside the black kind event also. Well people confess when they sit in this chair. I'll tell you anything anything. Anything he wanted to unburden yourself on. This is a you know I'm I'm ready. I'm ready to just leave. Just push the button. Okay Yeah who did it. No I is a movie that actually begins with the murder but it's not like we know anything well. The interesting thing is is that in the first ten ten minutes you see the actual death actual murder you see and so without knowing without knowing what you're meant to see or what what what you know there. And then you spend the next COUPLA hours having a blast watching these incredibly beautifully flog people entitled I really it just Hilarious it's Christopher amherst character that murdered right and he's having his eighty fifth birthday and yes this all star cast including you. I looked at that movie into any one of these bastards could adopt. Yeah that cast. Is You know the the interesting thing that happened. Is that when we got together to make this movie. It all came together pretty fast and we we arrived in. We shot out of south side of Boston towards Wellesley in this in that house in a big mansion. Yeah and and We all had these new enormous trailers not more than two hundred yards away from the house. we never used them. All we did was as we go downstairs in the basement of this house and we'd picked a room a lot like this a lot more friendly but I had a little more humor to it not much but we would sit around and tell stories about the movies. We'd done it asked you know I'd asked Daniel Daniel Daniel Craig about you know what. Tell me about that stunt and tell me what you know about about this and that and he had asked me about things that that We had done Christopher plummer summer and and I've known Christopher for a long time we we held down a couple of barstools and in San Francisco. I'm not shocked. And that and Jamie Lee Curtis who plays. You're pissed. Oh she he's still see. Well I worked out pretty well because she plays my wife and the thing and I showed up for work she started bossing me around and I said okay. Why not and captain? America's your son Chris Evans. Yeah this normal. Sure everybody's just hanging out there that hey birthplaces and there's a lot of movies that I see sometimes where I think the actors actors are having a great time. But I'm not in this case it's red from what you guys were doing to the audience when we see I know it's infectious. It really is. Yeah and that's harder actually think you know the the the the extraordinary extraordinary thing about this We didn't have a table read. We didn't rehearse we just showed up on the first day and you no. It's not an uncomplicated. No people have to and so we showed up on the first day. And we we start to go and I and and I hit a I hit the tone that I think is right. and Lo and behold Jamie Lee tosses the ball back to me and Scott the same tone and then we started to roll and everybody else sort of you know did their thing and we kind of brought that sense of joy in and in the moment to the to the to the to the To two knives out and I think that that's what you feel. I think that that joy in that fun kind of ride is what you feel like. You're lifted up. But it has a very contemporary temporary kind of spin on it. Yeah you should explain Richard who is a bit of a rat bastard. Yeah well they're they're all horrible people there are they are but he. He is kind of the personification of the Great. I loved him because he doesn't do. Anything doesn't have a job. AUB doesn't do anything he just you know. He's the personification of entitled because he lives off of His wife in the family and all that stuff I sort of played him like a like a one of those country club sizes. Just kind of walking around with half a buzz on over time. It is whatever you want but yeah people you need to see this. And when they do they can thank us for it. I can thank you. You're welcome. You're welcome bureaus. It's a good time and then I have to bring this up too because it's so great is watchman on HBO. You know I've seen you do a lot of great things things right from the beginning. You know even Miami Vice where when people think of it now and they think of how you're dressed and the style that you had and the suits the cheese and the t shirts and the whole deal no socks yeah started a complete fashion trend but that was a really good show. Yeah I was a little ignoring by in the beginning when there's Oh it's just fluff at style over substance and I was going well not so fast you know we we managed to get had some you know a golden globe. And you're gone. What does that mean? It's true But yeah no I've I've been fortunate in that I've had some Some meaty parts get to play over the years and I just think I mean you'll show Abo thing is is is ah trip. Sorry to interrupt with that Help the the the the writer creator of Damon Lindelof was I think I gave him his first job on Nash Bridges. You don't quite remember no way I mean I know that I I saw now I see. Yeah Yeah and then he went on of course to To do lost and forgiving him. No no no. He's true they should. I should be getting away. From all guys Sean Ryan and Carlton Carlton Cues and all the I mean. So many people came out of that That little incubator. I had gone up there. Those shows Nash Bridges and Miami. I swear long running shows which you're playing cops and I remember hearing you do an interview once and said I'm done with that you know and here you are as sheriff drugged God. You Judge Judge for judge hanging around the hanging around. But there's something in that role on. I know I get killed if I say anything too much about it but you know we probably both would. Well you'd be specially killed but I don't know how you get killed yeah to do this. But it's such a wonderfully complex charming character Thank you might have many many other level the NFL. What's happening? Yeah well when I see an emmy nomination for that too in your future Oh bless your heart. Don't vote for the Emmy Okay. So it's useless. I think you know every listen every reality start somewhere with a rumor. Okay talk to John. You heard it here therefore I give you know I'm not getting it's make it happen. Yeah that is a lot of fun to do too because it was. I didn't have a character who can be sitting at a family dinner and get up and do Rogers and Hammerstein and make everybody feel. I WANNA be around this guy. It was just very ballsy and Fabulous to what you know. That's the way I felt about it because Damon column. He wrote me this beautiful letter and of course if you want an actor's attention you just write him a letter and tell him how great he is and you've got his undivided attention. I guaranteeing I don't care who it is. It's like Kryptonite right. You know. Start Bragging on an actor and telling them how great they are. They'll do anything and I fell victim to that. He came in. Yeah Yeah you're the God. And so he Lewis. Is this Lewis right walk on. I love it but he asked me to come in and he told me he kinda told me that story. The sort of long grades plans for for watching it. I don't think he wanted to scare me off so he didn't. He didn't tell me the whole thing but he told me enough and I and I kind of felt like well. I'm in on the joke and I like that. You know and and I also think that it's an interesting thing to have My fans wouldn't expect it no one expects and it's kind of A. It's kind of like one of those things where I can get away with that these days where maybe couldn't before

"Going to be a podcast her everyone laughed at me well no one's laughing now and Stewart and this is the host who always has negative thoughts Jacob joker a movie that I could not believe have the height around it that it did I can't recall the last time a superhero film was Ben so polarizing I mean people worried about shootings in theaters people saying Joaquin deserves an Oscar yeah it was all over the place coming out of Toronto Oh this is going to be the film of the year it's going to get all the Oscars and then Todd Phillips director opens his mouth and got a lot of backlash for what he thought we're comedy was these days yet all the place with this film that said I got to say this one took me by surprise I assumed that DC was in free fall. I mean we have all commented on how their output has been inconsistent can we all agree at best putting it nicely right that they have not had the scene unless nece that the Marvel Universe has been able to bestow on all of their works when I heard they were doing a one off joker movie I was like that sounds like a bad idea story are you getting those marvel paycheck saying they're in free fall I mean wonder woman made one of a billion dollars off man made a billion dollars what kind of free was that will somebody say well I don't care what the hardcore people think the truth of the matter is a lot of their movies have stone DOC and they've not consistent the fact that we have a one of joker movie this joker that we're told will never appear with Batman what the hell are they doing marvel would never do that is what I guess I would say sure but I don't mind that like what is the best spider man film Spiderman entered the spider verse like that is not connection to the m. c. you or what Sony is doing with Tom Allen's spider manoeuvres etta any of that so I don't mind a one off if you can just pull off a good movie I don't care if it's in any kind of continuity villain standalone movies making a Superhero movie without a superhero has not been something I've thought has worked before I mean Holly Aries cat-woman Tom Hardy thinom they could never figure out how to do sinister of six I mean you could even probably throw the Star Wars prequels into that concept having the super villain story told without a counterpoint of heroism where's our entry point who are we supposed to be with and what are they going to accomplish the you mentioned marvel I think that DC here is taking a cue from Marvel's newest acquisition Fox Todd Phillips talked about how it took a lot of convincing at Warner Brothers to let him do an R. rated joker movie but that was the only thing he was pitching and he's literally hearing responses from Warner brothers like we sell joker pajamas at target what are you going to do to our character that might hurt Pyjama sales and look at the roads that deadpool paved and I think even more specifically logan going more dramatic and being R. rated you can't beat marveled by playing Marvin those game the way you beat marvelous by making your own Fox did that and nobody is even see new mutants because nobody knows what to do with it again the X. Men horror movie yeah they've experimented sometimes those experiments have been successful I'm just saying approaching this project hearing the we're going to do a one off film about the region of joker seemed like a waste of time I was not excited about this movie at all until I saw the trailer Yeah Al admit I mean after seeing what happened to jared Leto in jokers role in suicide squad. We'll see at that movie he doesn't think he was in that movie enough he's got a scene it was not overly excited to see what they would do with joker now what I will say is somewhere at this very moment jared Leto has pissed Yeah Joaquin Phoenix get attached this because that's what I would have gotten excited you know he's one of those actors like Tom Hardy who's like a Nicholas cage who is just going to make some decisions and go with them they could be czar. They could be captivating like that trailer yeah they really tapped into Martin Scorsese in that taxi driver field but I was even more excited about Joaquin Phoenix playing this role and should be pointed out he is the man that would be doctor strange he has quartered comic book movies before and walked away saying this is not really for me why do this one he was also offered the role of Bruce Banner the reason he didn't do them he didn't WanNa sign multi picture contracts he didn't want to do what Chris Evans and Robert Downey junior did where the next seven years of your life you're working basically as a day player for marvel here it's a one picture deal and the ways they got him on board for this one it was Todd Phillips again Joaquin was connected from the very beginning and the Pitch Phillips gave him is we're going to make a real movie but we're going to get warner brothers to fifty million dollars for it by calling it fucking joker yeah how did Todd Phillips and doing this because I've seen a lot of his films old cool that hangover trilogy these are not things that I associate with a Gritty New York Scorsese style film you saying that and coach when I look at this filmography I hadn't seen most of what he meant. Yeah they're bad comedies well he makes kind of comedy I don't patronize the I'm not ever interested in watching skin hutch that's just not something I'm going to see I did see war dogs which I actually thought it was a little underrated I thought it was pretty good it's okay yeah kind of fell apart at the end yeah thought it was decent as well and it was four dogs that actually got this happening as he was at an early screening of war dogs with Warner brothers and realize is is exact phrase was war dogs wasn't going to set the world on fire as so he started talking to Warner about what could we make that's going to really get attention and do a little bit more be a little more provocative look way down on his resume his first film and you might actually see why he really got the Gig I was doc I didn't realize I had always heard about this documentary about the punk icon singer G- yeah I did not know top Phillips did that I have seen it ooh those are some live performances you wanna be careful with he strips down throws a species tough stuff to watch yeah I watched the movie I was like Oh I've always wanted to see it this gives me an lent reason it may be the closest of all his films to joker it begins with an actual endorsement from John Wayne Gay see another killer clown so yeah brutal I don't know that I'm telling people I recommend that experience be prepared I don't say this lightly it is very punishing it is very hard set is provocative and ways a lot of people probably want appreciate but you can't see a director who's very much trying to confront a freak entertainer and I do think at a core G G Allen and joker are two sides of the same coin so I would be interested to see a guy that came from punk rock bring a punk rock aesthetic to of joker movie if we must Gotcha Joker Origin Story. I WanNa say though I'm hesitant because I mean I always liked the way Keith Ledger played it how did I get my scars there's a danger and telling US definitively how joker came to exist right. There's something about the mystery we want to leave I've always liked the mystery the funny thing and you can go back to books and Nachos where in our talks about the killing joke written by Alan Moore the joker says I always change my story but here's the version I'm going to tell of my own gin and they tell an origin story and then just as origin story we're just GonNa make that the real thing but yeah I've always preferred him to be like Batman rewritten so obsessed with origin Martha Thomas Wayne Getting Killed and the pearls and walking out Zora all of that that has been told so many times joker being the opposite of Batman I liked that you just this mysterious chaotic clown figure that comes out of nowhere yeah I've definitely was thinking the killing joke when watching this and how it took elements of that in that Comic Book Joker was a failed stand up comedian who was kind of down on his luck in a rundown older Gotham city but I came in I think we might be seeing virtually and adaptation of the killing joke minus all the Batman stuff no they definitely go in a different direction with this but it gave them a good starting point and joker said he likes his origin story to be multiple choice. DC is having both ways they're gonNa make their continuity multiple choice switch movies do you want and continuity go ahead that's weird for me that we're seeing something that I should not think of as a comic book movies essentially what they're telling me don't worry I'll have nothing to do with Zam Aquaman wonder woman and all of that I mean did they even have that DC logo they have that old school Warner Brothers logo show up no DC logo okay and yet I mean it's not just your average comic book movies this movie's doing bigger than a lot of films I mean it's opening bigger than the average thor film it's maybe not topped here it's not spiderman but I'm not really it's no atman though it's beaten that man right yeah this is going to have a ninety million joining in the US. The biggest October release of all time is it Halloween in the mood for something kind of scary after it we want another killer oh but it's shocking to me the box office for what essentially feels a little art film is so huge and that it's rated R. You can't get teenagers in which is where marvel makes its money is they are aiming specifically at thirteen to seventeen year old market with their PG thirteen films and yes adults can like it in younger kids can like it but they're keeping that content for a rated R. Film in an error where in my experience it's much harder for young people to get into a rated R. Film that it made this much money is shocking to me I expected it to do well I didn't expect it to break venoms record

An Interview with 'Avengers: Endgame' Directors, The Russo Brothers

"This popcorn where we tell. You. What's happening at the movies? And as far as the world's concerned, there is no other than adventures endgame, really, you know, so let's face it. And we have the director of that movie with us. Anthony Russo Joe Russo. How are you, sir? You know, everybody's talking about the fact that in its first week it's broken every record. It's like a one point two billion dollars in doing it. But what really gets me about this success, which I certainly don't begrudge you. I'm sure you're getting ninety percent, right. It's of course, this point four movie. Oh, yeah. Totally it. But to me this movie is a love letter to everything that the avengers mean to so many people true made by people who seem to be not only gifted at what they do. But who are fans of what this is. Although I'm sure the fans drive you crazy with the questions that they have. So before we start. I just want to show you a clip. This was some of the people that were interviewed at the theater just wanting to talk to you can say. Guys so much. This movie was pretty incredible. I've seen in multiple times already. I gotta say it gets better every time. Thank you for making the movie. Inspired me to want to make films in the future. Maybe I'll become a movie director myself or something, and maybe I can be one of. Hankers? Thank you for bringing by childhood to life making. Thanks to the British resolve and other castes for the venues movie. It was really good things you so much. Movies. And I just really wanna see what happens next. And if you need extras in the movie just ask guys do make moral. Excelsior. Specialists feel good. That's why we make these movies. Yeah. You just have to. I think next. Oh, you should do. Check off. Yeah. We're headed that movie called cherry cherry based on a book by Nicole Walker about that army medic. Yeah. Back in this gets hooked on heroin to deal with PTSD. So slightly different subject matter than the marvel. Bo superpowers. No, no. It's amazing is Tom Holland. Yeah. We'll be playing the lead. So. Look, it's still family. Exactly. And that within ventures in game. What Tom and does in that. With rubber Downey's. Our man. Is so motion and so much that if you're not feeling that you you've lost all ability to feel anything. Well, the I mean, the great thing about Marvin. I think why so many people relate to is about family relationships. You know, there's there's mothers daughters, fathers and sons, you know, surrogates doesn't mean that people are related, it's just they they have a they've created a family. What we also like about it with amazing about seeing fans like this is that very rare as a storyteller, you get to make movies like this that mind people together, there's a real sense of community behind these films. The global reaches significance a fan in the UK can talk to a fan in India can talk to a fan in Japan. And it really is binding experience we snuck into the theater on the Thursday night that it opened in Los Angeles after the lights from the back. And it's rare that we've been in a movie theater where we've had that kind of experience people are cheering, and laughing and crying. And cheering some more and jumping on their seats and really had an energy to it that that seems very unique to to this narrative experiment, but when anything is emotional like that, and what you did last year with Infinity war you snapped your fingers at half of the world's gone that boy what a power move that was well, that's one of the one of the great joys of working in the marvel cinematic universe, and with a serialized, storytelling, the cinematic level is that we get to take chances, and we get to go to places in in individual films that you might not be able to otherwise, you know, it's it's very rare to see a Hollywood movie, especially a big major release Hollywood movie where the bad guy wins, but you know, life life is in life that sometimes the bad guy wins we'll have to endure that. So the to be able to tell a story where the bad guy wins in. It's okay for the audience because they know that even though the movie ended that way there's still hope for. In the future. Because the story is not over that. That's a very, you know, unusual experience unusual opera -tunities for filmmakers to tell that kind of story. Well, they can't seem to accept that. It's over. I think that's what you hear people saying I saw it three times. Right. You know, you're going back to it. I don't think not just to look at the nuances of what you might have missed, but I need to hold onto it. They can't really be gone. Well, nothing has value unless it has an ending, right? I think that why the, you know, there's so much energy around this movie is that it's a true. Finale. There's you know, the this isn't ending for for a number of the characters that people come to love the last. How do you decide in endgame who's gonna live and die who is going to survive? It's really based on an individual character level. Like, we just study each of the characters we think about, you know, our job on the movie our goal for this movie was to to end the end the run that began eleven years ago now with the first iron man movie. So we looked at. Every one of those characters we looked at their arc that they'd been on through all of the films, and we just started to think about what was the most satisfying climax for each of those characters individual level. And then we began to see how it all sort of orchestrated together with one another. But that was our road. It wasn't. There was never a mandate from marvel about somebody had a live or somebody had the die. It was simply what is the most satisfying story. We can tell. Yeah. I would think that marvel and Kevin Feigen everybody would say they would be betting every decision. That's being made about this. Because these are characters that live in everybody's heads and hearts, well, when we came into marvel it was with the spirit of this Rupp shin. And if you are previous work was very disruptive work, arrested development is very cynical sitcom comedy that was on communities deconstruct genre. That was sort of the specialty of that show. And then you know, we started at a point marvel they had already built the first acts of this Infinity saga. We came into the second act when he Tricia so to deconstruct, and we started making really disruptive choices and they got excited by that. Because choices were working. And I think that, you know, we're we're at a moment of transition for narrative, we really are this generation that is coming up consumes narrative and a very different way than we do there used to consuming narrative, and you know, thirty seconds on Twitter, ten minutes on YouTube, the watch it on the bus. They'll watch it in school. They'll watch it on a plane. The watching the bathroom, you know, they they have a different PHD content consumption. They can handle the different level density. Then we can they want to realize storytelling because they like that emotional collectively. And also with that's your life, storytelling gives them is conversation. Long-term conversation that they can have over a decade about how much they love characters. Who you know, who's right and who's wrong who's gonna live who's going to die? And you know, so social media's become a real driver for pop culture when you think back on endgame. What are like three or four things that stick in your mind about the making of it? You know, what you without giving away too much? Although we'll give away some things we don't want to give away or spoil the just in terms of shooting and thinking he said, and then watching the emotional moments, and what's nice about the film is that because we made such a radical choice the enemy in the war. We open the film, and it stays in a very somber tone for about thirty or forty minutes, which again is unique for commercial movie, and we referred to it as the section where you know, people have to take their medicine. This is you know, we're gonna we're we're going to swim in the waters of of pain and regret and guilt. That all of these characters feel about what happened and that's unique. And I think that you know, so that that's that to me was very memorable being able to shoot scenes that you know, was with emotional truth to them. You know, we love when Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans get to work together. They're very they're very elegant together and understated. So they had a really beautiful senior early in the movie, I think the other thing will remember Robert Downey. This is really, you know, this is one of the most iconic characters and pop culture history. You know, I would I would argue movie history. I mean, you know, I don't think anyone would argue. With you about that. Which is why playing with any? I mean because the amazing thing about iron man is that he such in the beginning of all this such a cynic such. It's all about me. Yeah. Until he sell field to some kind of self sacrifice. Right. That's exactly because that he goes from selfish to selfless over this this ten year journey, and he makes a lot of poor decisions along the way makes a lot of good decisions along the way. It's not a very human decisions along the way. And I think that you know, the audience went on a ride with them. And it's a it's a very profound experience for them. What you said, I think that's why even though he dies in this movie, and his this this beloved character is is now leaving the movies because it's the completion of this ark for this character because it sort of a movement from selfishness to the ultimate act of selflessness and self sacrifice in the he's giving up a lot by making this choices wife daughter who are so important to them. There is sort of like, a beauty, and there's a nobility and an

"So yeah, I like hydra cap. He's he's not dead hydra cap is still alive in a high security prison by himself. He could escape the break him out. Well, I mean we what? What else can we talk? What else can we say about Chris Evans? I know earlier in the early on they were, he was human torch in the first, the first ten testing board as both. And there was rumors that he was going to reprise that role for end credit scene for deadpool two, but it never happened. He was also in the losers. Another conduct. Don't remember. Yeah, he's one of those guys played multiple superheroes. He was boyfriend number three on Scott pilgrim vs door. That's right. Very, it was ever to number two number two. He was one of Asia's been watching that movie nonstop past. That's a good movie, get choice, and she's been. She's like, since we have used all, she does listen to the soundtrack so she she knows the movies, she and then bring Larssen's in that movie to. Yes, she's the one x Ray Scott pilgrim's. Excellent. That broke his heart. Yeah. Envy Adams, right? Yeah, forgot about that. He'll that so, yeah. Well, end of an era, man, it's kind of it's kind of sad, but because it's just going to have to wait to see next venture movie, come on how we are. They gonna make any more of movies. They use cabinet America because he wasn't. I mean, there are ventures without right Murga. Yeah. In fact, they marvel commissioned a script for dark avengers, which is the villains that were train themselves as the good guys. Okay. They were taking on the names of the ventures. Harry Osborn. Oh, okay. Story, so it's good little. They're masquerading as the good guys. Oh, actually the villains.

"Amen. Gimmick. I see that you still comic books. Yeah, still still still do. Cool. Didn't. Do you like it's kind of a sad sad couple days because of some certain venture signing. Yeah, Chris, Chris Evans, this official tweet go a little talking about captain America. Live will will not will turn lie, but not actually on my life where we are at the new Zia comics location downtown Las Cruces, yes. And this episode of Tucker me starts. Now starting now, listen. Not with pain. Is a car. All right, Chris Evans. Captain America. Yeah, nine years. Do you believe it's been nine years since he's been his Don? The shield is been having he wanted to quit doing it even before now. He was complaining about the captain America diet and workout regimen he had to do, oh, poor me. They're paying me million dollars to being really good shape that that that I reveal from. The first of injure when they opened the gate, man, he is. He's pretty Jackie. Yeah, see I'd into scrawny editing that it was so real looking and fake at the same time that you couldn't help like that was. That was pretty cool. I was probably one of the first marvel doing their special affecting, especially what's coming out now, like with say with. Marvel. Captain marvel coming out, making Samuel, Jackson young and things like that and Colson trait need to. That's right. And then doing that too. Ironman to Robert Downey JR. That, yeah, they did. Chris Evans did really good as captain. Steve Rogers, he fit the part just like, you know, Robin, junior fit, Tony stark there almost made for those. I don't know who they would get to replace it. I'm sure they'll find somebody, but that's the one thing I think we've always talked about that marvel knows how to cast. They know how to cast further movies. They hit the nail on the head that's like, who's going to replace wolverine that that ever Hugh Jackman stuff away? I wanna see that especially now that marvel has control of that franchise. Now. And that's, that's gonna be interesting that's going to be Cassie, but we are talking about Chris Evans. If you have read or heard on Twitter Fishawy. Tweeted out that they wrapped vendors for still not giving any spoilers to what the movie's gonna be. If you want here, I'll pop it up on the street quick. His tweet was officially wrapped of interest for it was emotional data lease playing this role over the last eight years has been honor to everyone in front of the camera behind the camera and in the audience. Thank you for the memories eternally grateful. Yeah. So that's kind of sounds like he's done. Yeah, sounds like I wondering I'm wondering if like he's going to be done just right off in the sunset or they they're gonna kill the character off. Maybe he sacrifices himself. That would be a captain America thing to do. I agree sacrifice himself for the greater good. Yeah. So that's going to be interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing it was actually watching winter soldier last night because there's nothing on TV. I did actually like that one the best out of the to come, I not. Well, I really enjoyed that one. That was one of my one of my, that's that's maybe bashing stand will step in awe, because comics did for a while to the lucky was captain America. Well, there's a part in which a soldier where he has the shield and he's holding it. Yeah, when those catches it. Yeah, that was really cool. But any other thoughts on, I mean, who do you think what he thinks next? Any other people have had the mantle of cab, even falcon, Sam Wilson, headed for a while. They still running that that is he still in that comic Krim or the falcons there, but they don't have the captain America's slash same Wilson Heidel anymore. Okay. Had the running concurrently with Kevin America slash div Rogers, why you trying to confuse people right at the same time because I was getting that Steve Rogers run for a while 'til they restarted it on, you know, the first one where at the end of the comedies KO hydrogen. Hydra cab. I should like that story tonight. I like when they take characters other comfort zone at where you expect them to be because everybody all that's not how people you don't know until you put them in that situation how they're going to react and you come to find out it really wasn't, wasn't him..

"Called before we go starring alice eve again i would like to see him i will have to see more of what he can do as a director and i know that something he's talked about yes that i want to see i definitely want to see more because i do think i'm this is the thing i never this as well but then i believe it now chris i think is a very talented man and i think it's about finding the right vehicle and the project that exploits his talents best whether that be behind the camera or in front of it i do think that he has a a rail he has a rare full likeability if he's playing like he was mentally playing likable person you get the full beam of his of his trump rain a good example of chris evans is charm i think was in the movie gifted which came out in early 2017 and he basically plays you know this man who is an uncle to a very very gifted child of the brother of essentially amass protege and it's kind of like a custody battle and he's so good in this movie and i i came out of the movie remember saying to people who will at all it was gifted like and i was like oh this is no dis but it so much better than it needed to be mmhmm and he is very good in a also stars his now by now frequent collaborator octavia spencer who of course is perfect she's always good and everything that she does but he is also a revelation like he places sensitive kind of like you know dude who has like a henley which is as we know cotton it and he is looking nyse and he seems like someone who when he gives you like emotion you know you like on i get it this guy frankly i get it frank like this thing is tearing apart he's great and he has insane chemistry with everyone that he's playing alongside but most importantly he has insane chemistry with the woman the the actor who plays his mother who is lindsay duncan hand lindsey have this incredible chemistry that is just kind of like crackling on the screen any made me think like came out of that movie and i was like oh my god the chemistry that was insane i posited on twitter at potential movie.

"Oh that's a fact i just told you that wins a soldier is that and accept that me is superior culture raisa i have told you parrots believe it it is so good and it was has a standalone it was very much as part of a whole narasihha bar as a standalone movie and i'm not just saying this because i really enjoyed chris evans's personality and character whatever i do believe that in that film there is a culmination of talent and and just storytelling home and the to a mary together so well that i watched that maybe the first time and i was like wait i think i just saw something perfect yeah again around that time he was talking about you know he he didn't want to do any more marvel films he wanted to move onto something else in his career and you can kind of see chris evans flag this is my swan saw i'll give a vaikeny more we're going to get everything that i have an actor as a physical performer yes increase right i will perform it let's talk about the physical among the sweat sprinkling my under on both like pulling away from our pets i am so swansea right now that while later fight theme lists soon elevates asea yes so i was recently on on what trip under the hotel room i tell them the tally and the scene was on a her and even though it was way past my bed some i was i will i have to watch this whole fucking thing hourth.

"Infinity will trailer um i think i i think it's a reference to know about it might could be um and i think that's a very interesting way if he's going to believing the see the series that this is this is a really interesting juncture for which you know this it would provide basically a whole new world in which cop could live on outside of you know the embodiment of chris evans so i'm just excited by the fact that like i said we we we salvage that harrison barnes was and seeing him with a bid fighting full pelt will alongside people than what candor looking just like the promise of god's love i shall while i was taken aback by how wonderful but to see it as kind of like sanctioned by marvel is actually incredibly thrilling yet i wonder if he kind of fought for that 'cause he suddenly thing what the hell happens caffeine yeah yeah he adds good i'm excited i'm so excited when it what we're talking about the possibility of no more captain america films with chris evans i want to go back to this variety profile from two thousand fourteen march 25th two thousand fourteen in itarsi brought where it talks about chris evans says he's ready to leave acting behind and when it first came out it was a little jarring because with like we you know we're finally getting into chris evans as captain america what does that mean you know for his career and all this kind of stuff and this also where he comes out and talks about his anxieties and the things that he wants to do outside of marvel and things like that things like that and again there's lovely for um photos of him with a dark hair.

"A twitter time line of social media so i just think and be here yeah and i think he would every then move on from like the the chest hand halo to god to actual hey head of hair here um so chris evans as captain america rain is in fact a blonde right that is not his natural colo um and i do very much enjoy pay maza blown david i and i love cop obviously as a superhero of course as embodied by chris evans of course but the blown sing really jarred me yeah i love i love brunette chris i love darkhaired chris evans angering that you you have have resume it just it it moves me although i think also that's more if you know his true herself true herself yeah there are other attractive uh karen i combinations it has always have to be you sell the really creepy person buying a dole i want a different hereon i combination i i mean yes rick joke a man in know as a black woman i'm so used to seeing you need to have blonde hair you need have lightcolored eyes in order to be considered attractive why niger's i reject that and not when i find myself being attracted toward someone who has blond hair and blue eyes i'm i fight it tooth and nail ellen on you i love all this is will get you exercise below warned i think it's about the the the societal structure yeah suggest that this is the epitome of attracted means because that is not true um but it's something that has been kind of soldier was over and over again the idea of bluntness as signature fool kind of innocence on the purity is absolutely a thing and i think when we're talking about humanising everybody we have to kind of move away from idealized versions of a perfection yeah and that is undoubtedly locked in two flaxenhaired and lightcolored eyes so i can understand your resistance to it so when we see the trailer for the upcoming uh of injures movie in.

"Fine harry as i have revealed over the course of the season yeah i like hair hair yeah i know you do i very much enjoyable to dude but when it comes to chris evans i much prefer when they let him they let him like it's annoying but when he's in a row and he has just her um it just makes me very happen i smile at like i small like it's like misha two i'm just like all of us great when you go back and look at like early photo shoots of chris yeah he has chest hair his guy here on the belly treasure trey all gone ukrainian i forums as well and they look good with a light dusting of her is there i enjoy that very much a shout out to you and your hackers good jobs so yeah that we've established that we enjoy a harry chris um so it's odd to me that the most famous it's a racean of careerism ak as captain america all right he is there's nothing that it smoothies smoother babies but it's fine i was going to say it doesn't huts right god imagine with like yes many pelt yeah as a slow death dan dose thing yeah something to just run your fingers through yeah i'm also very curious about hollywood grooming and general like why they think that men need to be hairless yes a man's scapegoat look yet as mobile does that pretty much all us a beer is except the hulk yeah which to me is fine i think it's actually a throwback to the actual comics mm in which superman never had hair on jess you know batman all these dudes like they're they're men who don't have hair and that seems to be the thing when we're translating that from the comic book onto the screen is our every woman's cape this is megan just positing area but i think the removal all superheroes body hair and is a way of kind of going you can project everything good on this clean playing kambas that's why also distracting when um henry cavill as superman in had chest hair like he he kept his chest hair and it was just such a beautiful thing and it caused quite a ripple through my.
