I don't think that's a massive loss by any stretch. I want to take shots at his TikTok, so I want to kick a guy while he's down. No, I mean, hey, listen. We all make our bed. We all make decisions, and we have to live with those decisions. And while again, I am not a huge juju guy he did have an option this off season. And it was catch passes from Patrick Mahomes and do tiktoks with his brother Jackson mahomes and he chose to catch passes from Big Ben and get lit up by Kareem Jackson. Those are the decisions and choices we make. And you have to lie with some of those results. Hey. I don't think it's massive loss. I really don't. I think McLeod will fill in admirably there. And when we sit here and look at this game, I think it really comes down to and this is why we're not really truly breaking this down in depth. Because there really is no other option. When it comes down to a side in this game. No one's number that does this professionally is going to get you to where this number is. We're looking at an 8 and a half point adjustment off last week's look ahead where Seattle was basically a 3.2 favorite versus now them getting 5 and a half. And I think it's only going to trend in one direction as this is the Sunday Night game. We're going to get a lot of public love from the Steelers. It becomes a waiting game. At what point do you value bet Seattle? Are you waiting till the last minute and hoping to catch your 6 to someone from a group perspective, get an itchy trigger finger and not be patient? We'll see. But ultimately, I think if you're betting this game or you're in your contests and picking this game, you're probably going to have to go the little contrarian route with Seattle here. Take the old dog getting the generous points, hope you get the one game bump from the backup quarterback against the team that has struggled when they're installed as a favorite in recent encounters. Four games. Prep as well. They do have extended prep. So we'll see if Seattle can not throw a few wrinkles in there, maybe a little trick player two, mix things up and try and take the Pittsburgh Steelers by storm under the bright lights at Heinz field..

We've got four games sample size on everybody. Now we've got a pretty good feel for who. These teams are who these players are. What do we need to know about the rams and the seahawks thursday night. Well first and foremost let me. Just throw it out there that Chris carson did not practice on tuesday with a neck injury. So if chris carson can't go and i'm recording this before the injury report before the seahawks practice on wednesday if he can't go alex collins instantly in the rb to conversation matter of fact he out produced chris carson last week and michael sean doug covers the seahawks for the athletic seem to indicate that they might go a little bit of a hot and approach. So just keep an eye on that. We'll continue with the seahawks. It's going to be an interesting match. Macapa play there. I think you just gotta play metcalf in lock it but keep in mind. I have metcalf higher. Then lock it this week. Why because lock. It's been banged up. You've got the knees got the. He's the guy who plays through injury but always plays better when he's not dinged up as many do so. I like metcalf a little bit better than lock at this week. Think russell wilson's low-end quarterback one against this rams defense that might still be learning. This new scheme hasn't been as dominant as you might have expected so that that'll that'll break down for the seahawks for me. What about the rams joe. Yes so one. Once that that needs to be thrown out there is just how much darrell henderson is. Playing and i was surprised last week. Coming off the rib injury how much he played but you know he got seven of the first ten opportunities in the ram backfield sony. Michelle fumbled deep in their own territory. And then sony. But i would say my perception of james robinson versus chris carson. Going into this season is that they are not necessarily one hundred percent equivalent but they are very close to equivalent. I could make a very easy case for james robinson over. chris carson. Make a very easy case for chris carson over james robinson. The point being is that sometimes you make a trade offer. And you're offering four quarters for a dollar right sometimes james robinson versus chris carson is. I don't know if i had to guess. Seventeen times this season. And i guess james robinson nine times and chris carson eight times. Maybe that i'm correct. Does that mean that one was clearly better than the other. The answer is no like in fantasy. Sometimes your other dealing with tossups or just go through gut. Maybe you're a seahawks fan. Take chris carson. Maybe you've had chris carson in the past. And you don't want to have them on your roster again or you do what have on your roster again take him. Maybe you're just a twinge nervous about carlos high and you say you know what i'm going chris carson over james robinson or maybe you're saying dude james robinson was the man last year for me third and touches fifth and fantasy points per game running backs. I'm cool there. I just think that it's a good thing to remind people of going into the season. Is that like eight. You know we may have our job eligible my job. I don't know so many different things that the general public can not find out during the course of a week. Right what i am doing what we're doing is we're taking every factor that we believe fantasy relevance the player's ability the depth chart the weather in a given week the playing surface the opponent if a quarterback is injured. To give you a cogent fantasy analysis in the case of james robson versus chris carson there enough indicators for both from you to think that they're both solid arbutus. I don't know that. I have a great one way or the other. Lean do you. I prefer chris carson. But you're a lot no no to the point of i'm gonna draft and chris carson sitting there and somebody takes james robinson instead of him. Am i going like what's that person doing right absolutely not. Running back. james would finish with more fantasy points then then basically every other running back other than four of them so i was carson. Because i think i like the seattle offense better than jacksonville's i think i i feel better about his role in the offense compared to outcomes rashad penny than i do robinson versus carlos. Hyde i feel better about the offensive line in seattle. Do jacksonville. I do think. The jaguars have a decent offensive line. And i feel better about pete carroll coaching staff. We just don't know what you're going to get urban meyer and so i think there's a lot of factors on chris carson side who just got paid then there are james robinson that tip me towards him but what. I would've liked darnold to be my number three. And i waited around too long to get my second quarterback it goes quick and so i got to send it like having at least one superstar and a super flex at a two quarterback league. I like having one stud. I think at the first overall pick. So i believe in twelve team league or even ten whatever. The number is what's called a ten team league. I think if you take christian mccaffrey. I you intend on taking a quarterback twenty and twenty one and two quarterbacks in that case and you gotta figure if like. There's this absolute ridiculous run of quarterbacks already went ahead of you and you're stuck with like matt ryan and baker mayfield. Then you could probably just say like okay. I'm taking one of these running backs. It's still available and you could just trade. You're running backs. Slater's i'm chris. Mccaffrey first overall. But i think i would go. Mahomes came in a two quarterback league. I want i want patrick. Mahomes like obviously one thing. You're not gonna you're not losing your league with either one of those guys two more questions. That is more important in fourteen weeks because there is a little bit of a fine line like there are players that i think are outside my top fourteen. That could be pretty good. But they're not as much of a guarantee like in the ten team that you can really afford to be patient a quarterback not just that you can also talk right not only that you can also take a lot of fliers ten team league because if they don't work out then you know. There's going to be viable options in the waiver wire and a fourteen league. You need more depth. Not nearly as much. And so. I think you wanna be capricious with your you hear that wants to find you your princeton capricious with your flyers. I think you want to take a couple of them because you always want those upside..
