"Continue goal. Join us last hour. We talked to an arkansas star. Defensive facts in the first hour greg. Macarena minute and bill is up next. Hey bill hey paul how you doing very well thank you also The crazy thing about a comment on something you said earlier I listen to you. Live on the radio and mute the tv but the bad thing about it. It's like that five second delay. That always kind of you know interrupts but anyway the george vans. Here's here's the crazy thing about it. Because all i think maybe you in about nine other cats get to be back up about you command it. Is you know. jt danger on my gosh. We finally quarterback he is. The man didn't even score point of his classy It's just one of those things man. I mean georgia needs to staying alive. They're obsessed with bamboo because they're not in the thing about it is just you better worry about floor. I mean they they get ahead of their sales they they. They're obsessed with us there from columbus all these other cats calling this slow your road. There's a lot of football be played. I mean i worry about every game. You know the place but the thing about it. Is you know georgia. I just want to know this. If you lose saturday your lose the florida is that when next year begins all day baby. Roll talk thank you. Oh yeah the dogs Let's talk to all congratulations augie. Your team won a big road road. Sec victory paul. Can you imagine the most relieved man in baton rouge right now. I mean you could tell. The significance of this game was not lost on os ron. He was walking up and down that sidelines bussing cussing and i have never seen this guy still animated during a game since he wanted in in thousand nineteen or twenty twenty but I think he's lived. He's quieted down for another week. But he's by no means off the hot seats so yeah austere was was extremely dangerous Just because of the time of the year. But i hate to be pollyanna here but he has an opportunity now because auburn is coming in about his wounded as you can be and that won't end the conversation but at least it will prolong it. It's like he's. He's living from week to week to week and they played. You could tell they were playing their best and if that's their best we're in trouble yet comes down the let me let me let me help you with some more. The good news though is well. I say good news i was about to talk about a and m. Looks like an easier win but arkansas. Like a much more difficult game as well. So there's good and bad with the sec west right now being upside down as we are. I didn't think we'd have a great year. I saw in them would be better than they are. They must be dying in college station right now because this has gotta be an utter disaster for them. They're high hopes at the beginning of the year or now Resigning and little rock. But paul i brought something up a couple of weeks ago. And you just pooh-poohed it blew it off. And now i see you're being quoted in articles as supporting it lane kiffin to usc. Well yeah no. I i I had a turnaround that in fact I heard from the coach about today. I was simply asked yesterday In an interview you know. Do i think he would take the job. That's all i. I don't think is ever going to be a factor. I really don't but i was. Just you're on these podcasts. And you have fun. you don't take. I don't take everything that seriously. Paul you go from no way in hell is going to happen. And you start talking about the pros. Yeah this is why it should happen. But you also start another controversy. Paul you call davos terrible loser. That's controversial yeah. Well a couple years ago a loser he excuse me. He was the worst winter in college football. And and if you're the worst winter you're certainly a bad loser. I just don't think. I think the daboh act really wearing thin. That's just a one man's opinion But you know he could get away with it with his sycophantic fan base when things were going well but now that things are not You do somewhat feel the walls crumbling don't you. I mean. I was sick of it after his first national championship and then wade kept winning. I like this guy is like a bad sitcom Paul you you mentioned something in an earlier call when you were talking about Callers criticising the radio guy caller that question here smart came to leave you. Pick up on these things. I'll come on all you throw these easy slow balls out. It seems like they. Just don't even get just get with that but anyway This is a big week this weekend. In the sec. Paul a lot of determining is going to happen. So yeah finally have gotten to a week like this augie Because you know they've been some good weeks. But i mean this is classic. I mean there are so many fascinating game. We haven't even talked about what what could be a potentially the biggest upset. I'm not suggesting it but kentucky hosting florida there. There's all kinds of story lines there. And you know auburn. Lsu and the two games that we of course have mentioned. Grandpa is up next in texas. A hello grandpa. All very well. Thank you right now. I think tennessee biggest problem is a lack of depth. that comes from losing thirty five players but I did pretty good chattered in. I wanna stop you right there Grandpa because one of my closest friends Sent me something today. He's a ut guy and he said. After the first half i was done i was pleased. It didn't really matter after that. now. I'm just trying to figure this out. I realize you have to build a program back but you still lost by twenty four points You saw hope right yeah I think that drop pass on. Fourth and five just took the wind out of your cells. Anyway i wanted to mention john ord yes. My bad Even one denison was on tv. He would turn the tv down the lesson to delayed broadcast downward on the radio No doubt Yeah we talked to you. I about that earlier and every fan base. Has that one person that you see. You still cling to even though it's been a long time since john broadcast games almost more than twenty years but I feel the same way growing up listening to john. Thank you so much for the call. We really do appreciate it. Let's talk to chris who is in knoxville. Hey chris able Great beyond the show day man. Yeah thank you. It's Getting great on longtime listener first-time caller I just want to say first and foremost all that. I'm a big fan of yourself. I've been watching again for years I myself one that's Following down your pet gone down. I'm doing a radio and tv at university of tennessee and doing things for the w. t. k. program there and and the scores program so i've I just admire yourself in a great conversation. Tell me.

"We're finally getting to see monica echo. Everything you said in the word that came to mind. When i heard about this snake bit because i remember something like this happening. A guy named patrick ewing to new york knicks not to the level of course of dealing with colon nineteen but how many times patrick ewing snake bit throughout his whole career who ran into the detroit pistons early then the chicago bulls then when he finally had that team with alan houston and the troll spree. Ball marcus camby. He breaks his ankle a playoff series. They wound up losing it. Five games for the san antonio spurs in strike shortened season. We don't have. Patrick ewing would have helped the knicks manip- victory but the chance would have been a lot better the healthy patrick ewing. That's what reminds me of this situation. Would come through chris paul and you're exactly right. I'm more concerned about the person being healthy and people around him being healthy more than anything else but for the first time ever in his career he had the squad a mixture youth and also experience all of that and chris. Paul and devon booker. The andre a coach with mining williams. They were the healthiest team of anybody. Left standing in the nba playoffs. And now you have this situation creeping with a guy that not only is your leader but he was one hell of a damned closer in the series against the denver nuggets when they needed somebody to go. Get it chris. Able to go get the devon booker can't or campaign definitely can you can't put that kind of pressure on him but whatever this indefinite absence is going to be is going to affect the phoenix suns. Because whenever he gets back remember he can't practice with the team. He can't be around the team at all. So whatever continuity chemistry you've been able to develop outside of games. That's going to be less in a little bit. I can't remember more snake bit snake bit. Nba player since. Patrick ewing and that guy's become chris paul so monica you're exactly right in terms of the person i but we live on planet earth. This really affects the phoenix suns on the basketball court. How they deal with that and when he comes back or who knows. That's going to be interesting. And i'm looking to see how they're gonna deal with this with this setback with a team. That was looking very very strong to get to the nba finals and represents the west and the nba finals. And that's my next question because he is out indefinitely but should he be out for the following series. How far can the sons go monica. Charlie do we have to go there. Do we have to think about that. I mean we have to evacuate either the teams. I've yeah if either of the teams that they're waiting on whether it'd be the clippers or the jazz now. Obviously we also need to see how serious this kawhi. Leonard knee injuries. But you know they automatically lose an edge with our correspondent. I believe in the finals. But i don't think that they get out of the finals without chris. Paul it's not just the exit owes in the basketball part of it right. It is the leader. It is the moment it is in the fourth quarter through both of the series that we've watched this team come through. He's the one that shows up and goes four. Four four or whatever. The case may be in the biggest moments of the basketball game. Mckelway cameron payne devon booker. The whole gang they have made tremendous strides right but this will be their first finals opportunity as well right and so there is. I don't know that there's enough words to express the difference. That chris paul makes because on the flip side. If it is the clippers you got a guy who literally if he's able to get back. That's been there done that right and if it is the jazz we're talking about a squad that has been in the top efficiency in the league on both sides of the ball all season long and quite honestly while i've loved the andres and deondraye aden's glow up. I should say in the playoffs up against rudy. Go bare right now. The jazz missed that mike. Conley probably is kind of the same scenario. But i don't like the to get out of the finals. If they don't have chris politics gets to that. I don't think this team the nba finals. I'm gonna go out and say right there because that's how important chris. Paul's minute is basketball team. And you mentioned my colleagues where you mentioned that. Monica because seth greenberg Nba basketball analyst. He and i were talking about this before we came on the air today and he said mike conley chris. Paul assorted the same thing because look how much they have to have. One guy facilitate everything name down. Image with the utah jazz because my colleague was so good to relieving that pressure. Now you're gonna have to ask devon booker to do the same thing where that takes away his effectiveness. Because chris paul was so good. Makes the guys got the ball on time where that relieves a lot of stress on a book where you had to do everything now devon book and they'll have to be that kind of steph curry combo guard to initiate the offense at times and we've seen how that has not worked with down of a mitchell. Mike conley being out in the last two games. They improve clippers defense in this series. Now you may have that devon booker to do the same thing campaign the backup point guard our just fifteen minutes off the bench. You got the increase the twenty nine thirty minutes. Who say he's going to be that much more effective. That's how many other people outside of the basketball court it comes to help. We're going to be compromised. Because chris paul was so central to a phoenix was able to do if he's out for an indefinite amount of time. And then you got to ratchet back up again to get this all star again. That's really retarded. The progress that they've been able to make this point when you the phoenix suns. It'll be extremely extremely unfortunate. So again for chris paul keeping our fingers crossed. He will be able to play soon. Get out of that in nineteen protocol. What on a positive note chris. Paul has become these second guard to make all nba sixteen season or later later joining the great kobe bryant in speaking of great. Let's take a look at what happened last night. You can't short for one night and get one game. I believe he can't believe he.

"Yes i forgot to put that in my notes. There's like one. There's several shots where his nose is obviously a peanuts but it's not always that which is also weird now. Now wait a minute. It's made of a penis or just looks like a penis. Well i mean new. You'll have to ask dan. Dan ackroyd but it looks like a penis. Okay wow that's so dumb. Yeah so diane winds up some sort of junkyard. She finds the bmw which has been stripped chefs called nine one one on the sat phone but the nine one one doesn't work on the satphone phone. Then she hears voices coming from a part of the junkyard and goes to investigate and she comes across giant diaper babies to mutated looking almost brought worse looking man babies wearing only diapers and the intelligence of developmentally challenged toddlers. And they're just fucking sweaty. It's like tweedle dean. Tweedle dum essentially right. Yeah yep oh god another thing. That really doesn't need to be in this movie. She catches their attention. They chase after her. But i'll donna grabs her and sets the throw her into a fire. But these diaper monsters convinced. Donna to leave diane with them so they can play with her and then diane faints. It would be the coolest they threw her in. The fire have been ballsy. Yeah someone needed to die other than daniel baldwin and he definitely needed foregone conclusion that deserve to happen but i wonder if daniel ball was daniel baldwin like than having the last name obviously. I wonder if he had been in anything semi note worthy and tried to convince. Dan ackroyd to not kill off his character. I think there is potential here dan. You know you know you're you're dying. There's i'm not. I will hear nothing but donning movie. I'm writing this specifically so you die with you in mind your perfect for this role. Yeah he's in born on the fourth of july at this point. That's tom cruise right and as vet number one. Okay so i mean that's a pretty big movie. I'd say just the pedigree obviously lends itself. But you know i think there needed to be a higher body count. Damn bald went short. As a judge sleeps the female cop jumps on the radio to announce. She's bringing in a couple of speeders to see the judge and for some reason it's the digital underground snow. Less the judge goes down to preside over the court in his automated chair and chris tumbles out of the hole in the wall judges bedroom he searches for the the room for a weapon and fails to see the judge. Come back up and they have a fight. The judge pulls a blade on. Chris and chris only has some bones to protect them. They stumble around the room for a while stepping in bedpans and knocking things. Over until chris's able to get the door run out. But you're as right until donna. And she grapples him. The judge says that running intel don counts as making advances on her and that means house policy is that they now have to get married. Sold on a picks up. Chris and carries him off..

"Levin Action is listening to understand not to react all are welcome to come to the table and all are welcome to listen and God bless everyone. Hello everybody is showing McCoy host of the come to the table. Podcasts in this is going to be the first of its kind in terms of what we're doing today. I'm joined by somebody. Who's no stranger to the show Barack? Thanks for coming to the table. Man But Warren is not here as as a guest worn. I asked Warren to come in and Co host with me so in the last couple of days. It's really been kind of interesting what's happened. This simple post on linked in there was a Latium Cherry Garcia who? I just happened to see on her on her on her on her Lincoln Feed and she was one of these car videos you see on linked in and she was talking and I okay. Here's another motivational video. Somebody's telling everybody go. Go Kick Butt or whatever some sale or whatever. It's a girl that pretty face. No no worries and I happened to catch in her in her title that it was she was a prisoner advocate south. Okay that's that's different. That's unique. Wash the video. It was really interesting video and so in the comments string is going through this listening to her. And she's advocating for prisoners and Prisoners Fair treatment. They get done a serving their time. In which isn't areas come up here and there around incarceration so that we've talked about even if we haven't stuff that's out there that we've heard about for a long time here and there. What happens to people after they get out a prisoner even prison? In general we tend to Romanticize it. We tend to either vilify it or make it into this thing. That's on some. Hbo Special or something on history channel or whatnot in in in that comment string. There was a gentleman named Chris. Ikano in Chris made some statements and he. He mentioned that he personally had come through this that he had in his life had come out of prison had had fought through all these prejudices and different things of that nature and it fought into back into the world and was trying to make way after having done his time and paid his debt to society as is supposed to be the case and even more so outside of the fact that he was talking about it. Which felt was very courageous. And of course I'm always looking at him for me. You know my heart's like this. This is a guy who's willing to talk and it would be great to have some any kind of conversation with somebody coming out of that out of that area thought about I thought about Sharia. There was a couple of other people who've actually connected with four people off his comments during asks Warren to come in and Joe and jump in here with me. Because there's a business element to it. There's With his podcast feed the machine. And I just think it's a great chance to get somebody else to come in here and ask them questions and really kind of spread this message because one of the things. I keep coming back to you which I've heard from this. One of the ones that are coming is what are we doing about people that have either paid their debt to society or have made an earthly mistake. If you will to legal or moral on this what are we doing to each other? And how are we treating each other? Why are we treating that way? What can we do something different? Can we do something better? What does that look like? What are the issues? How how could we? What's all going here because it just seems to be pain in that area when you listen and then on not only was. Chris able was willing to talk and was he courageous and putting it out there but then there was one gentleman who he made a comment. This Guy Jesse Jones made another comment and basically said yeah now. Imagine all of those hardships that you've gone through and if you were black and then there was another people that jumped on and kind of criticized him for making racial and I was really touching. I really got motivated to talk to Chris. He came back and basically what he said. And I read the first thing that he wrote. I wrote it down he said. I don't feel insulted. Jesse's bringing out the facts about racial discrimination in regard to the current judicial system. That definitely live. That definitely lives and like not being able to get a job after you've served your time here against racial discrimination is prevalent in so he went on to say some other things but I also thought to myself you know. Here's a guy who could have been like. Yeah yeah in in jumped on it. And he's Kinda put out. There said no wait. There's some there's some truth to this guy is saying it is more difficult Anderson Humility there that I heard in what Chris is saying. And I'm like Oh man. This is the kind of approach we need to defuse. I feel like a lot of ways a lot of these issues and stuff like that so I I did the thing. I got a hold of Chris. reached out to more linked in a sense. A is up. I'm sure getting this random clown on linked in going. Hey you want to call on a podcast. It's like Sure I guess in. "Take your calls. Here's WGM Jane's, Jeff Wagner. So Eric am I watching have they the southbound traffic that stuck in it? So it's, it's a lot of semis. They've kind of kicked out the barrier wall in between the southbound and northbound and they're letting vehicles, one at a time, extremely slowly, go through a u-turn the bear and make a u-turn. And then presumably, okay. That's what the semi trucks need a lot of space in order to maneuver event and to a very small area and to make that u-turn. So this is a very slow process in the in the two minutes that you just talked about to describe it. I've seen two vehicle get through that point out to this is just for those folks that are still stuck in this, the actual accident in the debris in the crash site is still very much there, take a long time to clear, right? Yes. So this is just a little bit before this trying to figure out a way to get these vehicles southbound that are stuck off the freeway, and this and again, it's part of it is, because again this very. Close in there. There's no there's no shoulders. They're just not enough to do this. So as we have been telling you, give yourself a break. And if you're if you gotta go north or south just forget about the freeway in Racine county and go further west because even I think if you try to take some of the, the frontage roads close to the freeway, those are all two lane roads that are blocked up, and we certainly can understand if someone is cursing, right now frustrated with this whole situation. But keep in mind that this did not end very well for a few people today, and we'll get you more details on that when it becomes available, but this is a devastating crash. Yeah. Four one four seven nine nine one six we're, we're talking about President Trump creates all this angst last week when he says, okay, immigration is going to start the these deportation procedures. Get rid of millions of people who are in this country illegally. Well as it turns out, what he appears to be talking about is instructions to start enforcing existing deportation orders. These are people who have been in the country illegally. They have had due process. Yes, they have been through the court system. They have been ordered deported, and they have chosen not to go right? That's apparently going to be targeted. I'm sorry. You know, you could argue about the right or wrong of our immigration system. But, you know, if you've been through the court system, if you've had due process if you've been told to go. Yeah. Then it's time to go. And if you the fact that you've stayed here for another two years, and maybe developed ties. Well, you probably should've left two years ago. Four one four seven nine nine. One six twenty list start with sue and cedar Burke, sue. You're WTMJ. Hello, hello. Yes, they need to go they'd had to do process, and they need to go. We need to start protecting our borders. Trust me, I've had visas for many other countries. And when my visa is trust me. I have to be gone, and they know it and they make sure you're going to do the same thing. We'll right exactly. I mean you try to I mean try to imagine trying. Overstay visa, and France or in Spain or Germany or whatever a week after your visas over expired, if that somebody's knocking on your door. And they're gonna say you got to be gone in forty eight hours. And if you're not going in forty eight hours, they're going to send you away in forty eight hours. That's exactly right. So we need to protect our borders, just like every other country, does nothing supply. And now look, I understand there are logistical problems that the deal with this because you don't just put somebody on an airplane. But you do is you African them you send them to a detention center. And then you send the back and right now the detention centers are full, so there's a logistical issue. But if the alternative is just ignoring this, I don't see that as a valid alternative rain in an Indian in Indianapolis, your WTMJ. Good afternoon. Hi, thanks for taking my call. I wanted to share some of my as being Spanish speaker, working in restaurants. I mean it is in the Milwaukee. I mean you talk like oh, you know, are like you'll think I'm gonna say, they're, they, they're apprehended in Phoenix, and they're just like, oh, I met somebody told me that I was just completely baffled by how do you come here legally? Like you say you try to do that, in western Europe, they're not gonna let you go like you just let them go like my family. Bailed me out and, you know now I'm here. Right. You know, I, I don't understand how people people can get their social security numbers from somebody else, and then they get their money. How's the government non holiday able to care for twenty years? And they say while they live their lives, and they have these families. It's like yeah. That's great. And everything. What about the, you know, two hundred thousand people waiting at the end of the line trying to do is, is I, I don't know it. I mean thanks. Quite look at it again, I, I think it is fair to criticize President Trump. For some of the things he's done with regard to the whole immigration issue. If you're a regular straight, you know, I'm not a big fan of the wall. And I thought, you know, using emergency powers to try to take money to build the wall. I thought that said a very, very bad precedent. But in this particular case for people who have been ordered deported for people who have exhausted their appeals, and if just decided, I'm going to ignore that order. I see. No justification for it. I, I'm sorry, I don't. And if it means it's going to disrupt the family. All right. Well, maybe you should have thought of that, because the truth is, you've had all this time to make these plans, you knew this day was coming. It's no different than I don't know the person. Who's again, you've got you've got a your order to go to prison. All right. You know, you've got to do two years in prison for drunk driving, or whatever. Although that wouldn't happen, Wisconsin. We know that so you gotta do that. We'll give you thirty days to get your affairs in order. Well, okay. That's like saying on the thirtieth day while I'm not gonna go. I've. I decided I'm not going to go because I haven't made arrangements for this or that or the other. No, you don't get to make that call Julie in Kenosha, Julia. And WTMJ. Good afternoon. My call. I think this is a no brainer. People are deported. They've given due process. It's time to go. Yeah. It, it, it is really it is really that simple. Isn't it at the at the end of the day, you know, you you've you've had your day in court? You've lost. You've been told to leave. Okay. What what's the miss about that? Exactly. Telling your screener something that I think about is the car for US citizenship. That's now, then in twenty nine teen that's now seven hundred twenty five dollars. So I think we could do something about that. Could do. Well, I, I also I mean, don't get me wrong, Julie, and thanks for the call. I mean, I think I think, you know, one of the disappointments of the last couple years has been the inability of people to, and this is both Republicans and Democrats to be able to reason together and come up with a reasonable some reasonable solutions when it comes to immigration, and there was an opportunity, maybe at the beginning of the Trump administration, but the Democrats didn't want to take it. And maybe the Republicans didn't pursue it aggressively enough. The idea that here's what we'll do we understand? We've gotta stop the flow of illegal aliens into this country. So we're gonna tighten up border security, make it easier to stop people from coming in, and then the flip side of that is for the people who have been in this country. For example, the dreamers, maybe we'll cut some way, so that there's a path to, if not citizenship, at least legal residency that that deal should have been made, and it didn't get made, and it's a disappointment, but that doesn't matter. You've got a court order that says you have to go, you gotta go, Jim in. Well, tosa? Hi, jim. Hey Jeff, I think one of the reasons why one and there are several but you just shot him. One of the reasons why we have immigration issues to this day is for not holding people accountable, lady mentioned about overstaying visas, we haven't enforced that I think that's why our crime rate is so high we have no accountability with criminals. And so you get repeat offenders, or repeat drunk drivers any if we let our kids, not for bad behavior. Where would this would we be we'd be four parents? And I think the government has been poor for not enforcing sanctions on people that are here illegally. Exactly see, I'm with you mentioned you talk about the whole visa process. You'll be a lot of times we focus on the people who come into this country illegally. Let's. Remember who perpetrated nine eleven they were people who came into this country on visas, limited period, visas, stay in this country for sixty or ninety days and then then they just disappeared, and we didn't track them. You know, we do an by the way, we haven't gotten any we have not gotten appreciably better over the last two decades doing that. We are one of the in my opinion, worst countries in the in the world at trying to track what happened. Took a lot of foreign countries you go in on a visa, they know where you are. And they know when that visa expires here in the United States, you come in on the visa, so you enter legally. But then you just kind of disappear into the framework of the country, and we don't do a good job of finding you. I mean we need to tighten these things up. I thought maybe we learned some of that lesson after nine eleven but I obviously was wrong. Okay. Bottom line is I guess it's fair to criticize President Trump for lots of stuff. And in this particular case, he sends out a tweet which overstates the matter, we're going to be deporting millions of people know, because the estimates icy say that after out of eleven or twelve million people in this country illegally. There's probably about a million who have deportation orders that our final. There's maybe a little bit more that still has an appeal or something left, but he's talking about going after those people. So I personally side I think I think he's on to something. All right. We got a lot of stuff coming up. We wanna I wanna revisit the latest story out of Shorewood. They're not going quietly into the good night when it comes to Chris able each house. A follow up a story, we talked about about how big is too big when it comes to an American flag, and much more. Stick around the subject, Wacker stay Jill and Jeff Widener returns after this on WGM. "Of south bend, Indiana, mayor. So if you're sitting out there in Montana, why would you figure I don't have a chance? Also, if you're wondering the niche that Bullock comes from he will try to position himself as more moderate than the other Democrats running now, the Democratic Party has become so radical you wouldn't think there'd be a niche for that? Except if everybody else runs to the left and he tries to hang around in the center. I don't wanna say never say never. But I would think that this guy's chances are virtually non-existent. But you might have said that about several of the other people running if it isn't her birdie. It's gotta be somebody. And none of these Democrats that are entering this race. None of them think. That any of the other Democrats running invincible? So they figure what the heck. And you know, if you're Bullock out there in Montana. And you see mayor Pete put out a few posts on social media and suddenly third or fourth in the polls. Why wouldn't you wetter? What do you happen to lose? Does make you wonder about how many different debates the Democrats are going to have to have the Republicans would always do the two that have like the twelve month stage. And then they'd have the four also rans that were in you know, that were in the early debate Democrats might have to have three of them. Anyway, Steve Bullock, the governor by the way, his, you know, his talking point is going to be Montana's one of the most Republican states in America yet. I got elected as a democrat there if I can carry Montana, I can win in the United States. I'm the kind of guy that can get Republicans to vote for me democrat. As arguments go it's better than the argument that a lot of the lefties are making pushing themselves so far to the left that they're utterly unelectable and the rest of America, the other story just the opposite. Somebody who has almost no chance of winning to somebody who you can't fathom losing. And that's crusade announcing he's running for re election as Milwaukee county executive how did Chris able to get to the point of being invincible? Do you have a theory and how he got to the point of being invincible? No why he has no competition because he's invincible. Why does he have competition? Money's a big part of it. Chris Abeille has so much money to spend on his race. He spends hundreds of thousands and county board races. He spent a fortune trying to David Clarke defeated for sheriff. So if he actually thought he was jeopardize in jeopardy for his own job. Imagine how much he'd spend. There isn't a limit. I think radically think Chris Abeille would be willing to spend as much money as Tony Bruce spent on the governor's race just the Milwaukee county if he thought he needed to spend it in order to win. Now his last races for your three years ago in two thousand sixteen when Chris Larson the county board member, excuse me, not Coney words state assembly Member State Senate, Chris Larson, the state Senator from the east side, he ran against the Abeille kind of slaughtering Abeille, Scott. Kind of the sweet spot in Milwaukee county politics. He's a democrat. He's liberal, but he's not all that far to the left. So when he gets a challenge, it's always gonna be somebody more liberal than him. That means that every conservative has nowhere to go. But to Abeille any sufficiently liberal that he keeps most of the democratic voters home. Of course, it's a nonpartisan election. The interesting thing about Abeille as he goes into this term two things first of all he used to be very closely allied with Tom Barrett. The mayor I don't know what's happened there. But they have not much of a relationship anymore. There's a rift. Abeille is doing his stuff Barrett's doing his as an example. Barrett was a wall when it came to getting the Feis or form deal through the state legislature. Abeille did most of the work. Most people credit Chris Abeille with cobbling together. The financing package that had more of the money coming from Milwaukee. Unless if it coming from the state which allowed it to get to the legislature Barrett did almost nothing to get the Pfizer form done by contrast. Getting the democratic national convention in Milwaukee was totally Barrett. Steel. Abeille had almost no involvement in that. And you may recall that when the announcement was made them a walkie was getting the DNC wasn't involved in that thing at all. On a similar issue. Abeille has made it rather clear that he doesn't think a lot of Barrett spending all this money on the trolley. In other words, Abeille has divorced himself from that without. Actually public coming out in opposing it. So they've kind of moved off on their own agendas here the other big advantage that account executive has. And if you go through the history of Milwaukee county, executive usually isn't challenged for reelection. The things that the county runs generally are not the controversial things. The Cody generally runs the stuff that everybody likes the city is in charge of the police very controversial area, the building inspector's the straights. The sewers almost everything that you can think of the people have a strong opinion one way or another on involves the city. What is the county run it runs the airport? When's the last time there there's a controversy over that it runs the zoo? Everybody likes zoo. Now there are funding questions. The county has had a face like the responsibility for what to do with the Mitchell park domes the county does run the buses them. But by and large the county runs things that are rather popular. Look at Waukesha county, Paul pharaohs been the county executive nobody even knows how long because nobody remembers any of its campaigns because nobody runs against them. You go back from the beginning of the Waukesha county executive position, the racist generally were noncompetitive, Dan. Finley had the job for a while. Nobody ran against him county executives across Wisconsin are hard to beat because they don't tend to do a lot of things that have one way or another alienate people that strongly. Abeille does not get along with the county board. There was left will again, that's not a bad spot to be even if he doesn't get the stuff that he wants done through the county board he positions himself. So that pretty much everyone from the center on over to the right have nowhere else to go. But to back him. I would say that. He would be almost impossible to defeat. He not only comes in with fairly high popularity ratings and no real controversy in the last four years. But would be able to overwhelm in spending any challenger that he had the mayor's race in Milwaukee is where the action is going to be Barrett. Still hasn't said if he's going to run or not other people are already actively running including a shiny Hamilton and Tony's Alinsky. I would say Chris ablest chances of being reelected. Milwaukee county executive would be. Overwhelming. And some sort of scandal would be the only thing that I could imagine interfering with that. Which is the caveat. You would make suppose for anybody in public office. We'll take a guy like me who am I gonna vote for what he ran last time. I got Chris Larson is a radical Abeille will. So anybody the thirty percent of the county that's conservative. We ended up going for Abeille and ablest enough of a mainstream democrat, and is built enough of connections with them that he got most of the he got, you know, you get half, the Democrats and all the conservatives you win by a landslide. The.

And I thought that's been his I mean, he's he's got a really good team there. They will be better next year.
