"What sectors and types of businesses Have you most excited? Well, you know, there's always a collection of revolutions that air sort of underway within tech and you know, you hear about what's getting disrupted today and what's in in mid disruption and what's in early disruption. Um, So despite the fact that Netflix Has been added Now for many, many years, we're still kind of in maybe the middle innings of streaming and the fact that cable companies are still in business and still pushing the old business model is evidence that There's more to come. You know, the, uh, the old saying is, history doesn't repeat, but it runs. What I would say is today, Roque Ooh rhymes with Netflix. Roque, Who was that company that when I talked about it 34 years ago, I got a blank stare. And today, more and more people recognize the name and kind of understand what they do, and they fit that pattern of the company that fights with no one wants to be Everybody's partner. On. It gets themselves in the middle of that trend, it kind of Find their their nish within that ecosystem. And so I'm excited about the move to The on demand dreaming and I'm excited about road crews position on what Bill I'm really, really big wave. That's one example. Another great example, I think is when we look at ease, ease electric vehicles, one of the things that you have to dig a little bit to get This appreciation is the voltage and the current requirement for electric vehicles. Are different. And that requires, uh, different different materials technology. And so a lot of the Maura efficient Uh, Elektronik. They're not built on silicon, but they're built on Silicon Carbide. And it just happens that there's this company that's been struggling since a kid you're not the late 19 eighties. It's called Creek and based in North Carolina, and they have been struggling their way. Down this really difficult learning curve of how do you work with this exotic material? And they have Finally found themselves in the exact right place at the exact right time. Because power Elektronik made with Silicon Carbide perform much better and give you better electric vehicles. You don't need to decide if you want to buy a Tesla or you want to buy Lucid motors. Or you wanna buy neo, You want to get exposure? This trend you come by Chri. And we have, and that's one of those. Stocks is performed really well, but still has a fairly modest market cap, and there was plenty of head room. And we're really excited about that. I recall Cree is one of the big innovators in l e D lights on 20 years ago is this the same company came up with the led on a chip or or something like that? Absolutely right. So this falls into the category of a solution in search of a problem. What Cree developed with the ability to work with Silicon Carbide, and they struggled for years to try to figure out what the end market We're Silicon Carbide really? Really taste And they thought it was led for a while. Then what they found was that you didn't have to make the perfect led. Using Silicon Carbide, you could make a cheaper led using other technologies and other materials. And you could do it in China, and so never mind all that and that was really daunting Challenge for them to get through that, but they did quite interesting. So are all these changes that are coming slow interpretive changes or are some of these more revolutionary than evolution. I think that it's somebody once called a successful started company, an overnight success 10 years in the making, uh, this thing off and if you think about how long we have cell phone before, one day, you look around and notice that everybody had a cell phone. Um You know for me? That was Ah, gosh, you know, in the early 19 eighties, when I was a college student, Nobody had a cell phone by the end of the eighties. Anybody in sales had a cell phone, but that was about it. But by the end of the nineties, it seemed like everybody had a cell phone. But all they were doing on their cell phones talking so you can see the big, big important changes. They take years to unfold. But when you look back at it You can't believe Just just how different things were, You know, from one decade to the next, so obviously evey czar, a longstanding trend that has nothing to do with the pandemic. But you've mentioned some things that seem to be a little pandemic related, obviously streaming being one of them. What about things like distance learning and remote work? Are these pandemic trends or or do they have legs or they Gonna continue. Once things start getting back to normal. I think those those examples are both trends that were happening already. But Pandemic accelerated them. One of things that happened here is that Our daily lives have been so disrupted that Almost anything is on the table. We're willing to rethink things and we're willing to go try new things. And so that's Overcoming the inertia. Inertia is really That's really tough. You've got something that's not broke. Why fix it on And you know that's really true with education. Um, unfortunately, the state of education Is such that you've got people who have through no fault of their own are great Advocates of supporting education. And find themselves being defenders of the status quo. And so I guess. One of that one great commentary I heard about a company. One time is a good guy said this is a great company. They just forgot to evolve. I would look at our educational system and say they kind of look like they forgot to evolve. And this Pandemic Now is maybe maybe going to give them the necessary kick in the pants to hurry up and evolve and figure out how to make it better. I mean, my old alma mater, UC Berkeley. They've got students living on campus are living off campus close by, but doing distance learning from their apartment. Rather than moving back to their parents out. That's a little odd. It's clearly a workaround on, I think. That's causing a lot of people to ask some very good questions and figure out what's the better way to do this. And how are we just getting stuck in our old ways of doing things or Why not, Huh? Makes a lot of sense. Last pandemic related question, so casinos are closed. Sports gambling seems to have old but disappeared and a lot of people. Replacing it with trading. What do you think? The whole Robin Hood Tic tac reddit community actively day trading for lack of Ah, better word is this Anything significant within.

"Could be described as a punditry sites cliffhanger. Jacuzzi, any spacecraft to visited Nick June at its lift, lots of unanswered questions. That's wake. It takes the ice giant, one hundred and sixty five earth years to complete a single orbit around the sun, and the images taken by voyage to Beth Neptune at its biggest minute, Triton were absolutely stunning as well as be incredibly puzzling. Triton revealed massive Jack, plumes of icy material erupting from Chri. Chri volcanoes on its surface these plumes rose straight up into the sky until they reached high-altitude wins, which Herod the clouds across the landscape, and as material rains outta these clouds. They leave dock streets across the Fresno surface. Also the images showed that Triton's icy landscapes really young, and it's been surfaced over, and over again would fresh material, but it's not smooth like the Ice Moods enceladus. Instead Pat of it looks more like the service of a cantaloupe, and that raises the question exactly. What material is it on the surface? And where did it come from more basically? How couldn't ancient moon six times further away from the Sunday Jupiter? Still be active today. Is there something in Triton's interior that still woman have to drive this activity, or is it simply gravitational tidal hating from friction generated as Triton or its net June. Trying to untangle these mysteries Nassar a looking at a new mission, its discovery program to study the distant worlds of Neptune and Triton, cold trident after three prompt spe carried by Neptune, the agent room and got the see. "Last one started This Week Excellent. Actually just so. Everybody knows a couple of weeks when people listen to. This might not be true but The cost of advertising just went down actually So I I'm evolved. Some things where I'm aware of FACEBOOK AD costs and those types of things. It's actually cheaper right now than it was two weeks ago. A lot of people pulled back not knowing how they if they could advertise right now. So that's so that's a good thing but so where are you? Advertising in order drive awareness and do this learning as Google. Facebook somewhere else yet to makes both Mostly focusing defense got and are you in Multiple countries with vortex and three percent. Yeah they both multiple countries They're all multiple. Languages is wrong so vortexes in Portuguese Spanish and English and they present challenges in Brazilian Portuguese in English is all okay great. Yeah that's that's that's not okay so that that's going to lead to lots of things for us to talk about that all right so just. I mentioned this advertising since you brought this up. You just started this week. Do you think it's helping We but I like. I said we were doing this less obliged for the team like we want the immediate return or whatever but more we in a way we always do a little bit just to kinda learn the markets and see. What kind of stuff works? What are the best channels I mean the desert if I mean my my background or my background is a mobile games that much more line of sight that markets like in this market like. It's a little bit less easy to kind of connect the dots and I think. That's why we're doing some some experience trying to figure it out literally. A line of sight market is so So the vortex has been out for a little over a year. I think is that correct? Yeah Tober Eighteen okay so you're and a half almost if is. Is this the first time? You've done advertising proactive pay promotion. Nobody did we. Did eliminated launch We did a little bit more like sometime last year. Like I said we always do some like evernote than just kinda again. It's just kind of phone data About the the immediate return Marge's trying to like gauge market learn. Yeah so what? Have you learned? I mean this is great that you're talking about this because everyone asks me about this and there's not a lot of people have done. Even advertising for learning in the space and so a lot of people are trying to figure it out most people that I've talked to if said that they haven't had success with advertising. At least that depends on how they define success so there but what have you learned while again the the obvious stuff like the you know the on Alexa connections much harder to make 'cause you like it doesn't matter how much advertise people do need to going frontal advice in speak thin invocation Resin Google we can actually do a link that people can click. That might open their sister phone. So I think that there is a so we have definitely like more like in the conversions. Like easier to recognize than Newsham. Okay so so you do have better performance on Google for your ads on then when you're trying to drive people to Amazon yes I think just be but again in practice. I can't tell if that's true but I just WanNa Frithjof That must be true right because I assume even though people are get our senior like our impression like they. I'm not sure how many of them remember to go back in front advice in state of things right but you'd see left right You'll see left and you'll see enter in terms of like new sessions new trials and you'll also see Mobile versus versus Smart Speaker. So between those two you should be able to. I would guess figure it out. Yeah I think that the sources is not that easy so also we. We do get delivered traffic cone both games so I think it it. There's all the volume that we get normally like usually out performs the the ads the volume from the end. So it's it's hard telling general. Sorry this is great. So so your Ganic traffic. What he thinks driving that. It's a good question. I think For the floor in particular. I think that game hate something in that game was also the reason why we decided to invest in a company so we both mean increase the founder like we were really excited voice so we did that game for ourselves as like. Do you WanNa bet the farm on this like. Is this going to be doing the next five years or live or whatever right so we like so we. We work on the game Contractors and stuff in the released it and we re good like launch reviews even to this date we get a lot of people on social media on on our email in our own channels like reaching back to US asking for content or asking for tips. Or I'm stuck in this part what can I do? There's a lot of TV in that game. So I don't know if he went to a place where you're the algorithm just keeps there because there's so many like we do have thousands of reviews which is not that Like he's like our auto games like not get that kind of volume of reviews. Didn't particularly now like an I. B I think the we we did get a lot of stuff from it It's hard to say but I think part of it is that into percents. Obviously it's more connected Show that game. We do a lot more social step sewing elite actress of the series like she does like some posts about it like she knew her her voice in the game so the two different source of people And is definitely more like fans of the show. I think that there's two connecting nuts. So we get right that area that makes sense so What we probably should do is tell the listeners if they're not familiar with the tax what that's all about so let's start with that one because obviously these are different types of games and I've tried the vortex I think it's actually quite well designed. I love your graphics as well put it on the I played it on the smart display. But why don't you let people know what it is in in? Why don't you start to say you increase? When you're thinking about this thinking about sort of getting started what did you. How did you decide that that was the way you wanted to go with this? I may be some other options. And then what the process was bringing to market. Yeah I mean actually the game is very connected with this because like we when we started like we I mean games games are like a technology thing right so they need to to exist in but they don't they never need detective amazing the tone of things. Sometimes people say oh. I can't do this because not gonNA wait for amazing in in reality are a lot of the stuffing games smoking mirrors so they just need to be good enough and that's kind of the approach we had like we get the stuff that you know you could do this speakers in beginning -tations that we didn't necessarily like but we. What can we do work with this right? So a lot of the design of the game was based on that so it was based on. Okay like we're not gonNA want to story but you know we played all the other categories of are out there and they were mostly like Super Branchy. Taxing rights get here. Do you WANNA go right. I'll do my best and like we wanted to avoid that so we we. We settled kate. How avoid that? So that was Kinda like one of the pillars of we kinda used and then the second was like Kate. WanNa be the story but we split vice is actually quite good. I think we can use them but I mean they're not good enough that you would like for anybody for some period of time right so I think one sentence babies fine but if you listen to them a lot than you would realize they're the they're not actual people so let's make a game of robots and that was the thing and then the third thing I was like. How do we make a game? Where speaking is what you do and instead of you actually doing the thing yourself for like taking an action like you would just speak so like how we how would that. How how can we come up with a game? That is part of it. So that's kind of more or less the elements that we use to make the During this colonists ship in you wake up from Chri freeze but the process like fails in the middle and you can't actually move But the the whole shape is empty. sort of mystery to solve a lot of colonies there but they also appear. You're less humid ship and the like against like people could go like in in in the shipyard the roads and they don't remember what happened either but you know you can kind of talk to them and did they help you figure out what happened. So that more or less how we increase the game. There's also threats fire aliens all sorts of things yet. Which which again you can do anything about. Because you're frozen so you've got to work with the robots like so they will like Saved Your Bacon so but you started. You started from the beginning saying hey I want to do a story based game not one of these. Quick interactions that people are doing sort of daily questions and trivia these other types of things that are very common on the platform yet. So I think I think what we drive. The other thing that tried to do in I think in that sense like my experience. helps 'cause. I'm being a bit in the beginning beginning of mobile at the beginning of facebook so I've seen Kennedy's new platforms come in take over the world like And I think there's a lot of similarities with voice it's distinct tech wise. Maybe not good. It's not really meant for games. Games are thinking on top of it Etc whatever. It is a new platform. Like this like usually the first wave of games are reported so it's basic things that used to work in the best. So that's why can't I guess you can see like cuisine you know even the net classic like choose your own adventure kind of thing. They fly ball because basically can be transcribed immediately voice in the kind of worked right. That's fine that has used but that's not you know again if I tried to make a mobile example There were a lot of games in the beginning of the IPHONE Tetris which is used to be the biggest the most popular game Morgan before the iphone writes in like some other Games but rated the game Remembers the beginning. Super Super Popular was the first game that may touch replenishable like angry. Birds right like re-explore. Everybody uses it and I think that that's kind of what we're looking for. Is like okay voice like the can work for these things but what was good for we. We did have this Theory when we started at Okay Voice Corporation. That's a natural user voice. So let's make a conversational game so that's kind of like why we went into this because we didn't want we didn't. WanNa use voice for just commands or just like barking things we wanted to or when you're doing it so that was kind of like another element decision to go with a game. Ray Talk to characters. Yeah I've I've talked about this about essentially what we have with a lot of the things that are going on in the platforms is the ski morphism phase which is where we're just really borrowing old ideas and read were repurposing them for the limitations of this platform and so. I see a lot of that. But you've mentioned this idea of choose your own adventure games but I I get the impression that you don't think of the vortex as your adventure game. Is that correct? Yeah we try to make it I mean some extent it is like we tried to make it feel more open So it is a game where you can make choices in kind of like affects. How things were but we really tried to make it feel more open and not just like you know the the kind of Grinchey experience that most of those games are so not having played it enough. Maybe I haven't experienced that but like you tell me how that works so I understand like in the beginning. There's only a few things you can do. Because there's only a few things you're aware of right and there's certain types of things that in the sequence you have to do I in order to allow the story to develop a little bit. I soon once you get further into this and I don't know how many hours you could play this But at some point you're several hours into it and you could actually come back and do something that that you didn't do.

"Democrat the Democrats thank you chri pick not they'll Baba a Biden but I'm a Democrat okay we hold these truths to be self evident that all men and women are created you know by the thing you know we'll reserve either all dollars in the issue in China now we have an issue with his brother and sister and everybody in the in the Byton mob family is is cashing in on Jo Ellan PR no idea whatsoever I don't believe that either so they can ignore these things all they want but they're coming to fruition Ron Johnson's doing investigation Ukraine's doing an investigation and I tell you it's probably going to expand out into China and other areas before it's all done the mob in the media is not going to that Biden's foreign policy disaster which is the Iranian deal that's only one of disaster even Democrats have pointed out he's been on the wrong side of history of every major foreign policy issue we've ever faced throughout his career and I mitigated disaster for the country their failed economic policies will compare the trump record yes even of the stock market has an adjustment because of fear and paranoia over a conflict with the oil over oil with Soviet Union off well yeah with Putin's Russia of more accurately and with the Saudis driving down the cost of a barrel of oil that that's all going to work itself out corona is going to work itself out they they want you to ignore it thirteen million more Americans on food stamps a million more poverty lowest labor participation rate since the seventies I'm not going to let them do that that's my job they're going to they're not gonna have that Biden and how many millions of Americans lost their doctors lost their health plans and how everyone is paying on average nearly twenty percent more because obamacare was a disaster or that thirty seven percent of the population of this country has only one Biden bomb off exchange possibility yes on purpose the mob is going to ignore Obama and Biden's handling of H. one N. one what twelve thirteen fourteen thousand Americans died and they never put a travel ban a fact they never quarantine anybody and people died remember the hype no because it wasn't there because this is a state run media this is what they do they protect those people that they like and in this case they hate Donald Trump above all else and so they go to circle the wagons because they are nothing but state run TV I will say this the Sanders campaign I'll get to those later they're now questioning Biden's stamina what is Joe Biden not want to stand toe to toe apparently they're reporting numerous places I have not confirmed it myself but I am telling you what's being reported by others but anyway Sanders team raised an alarm in a call that took place Friday with fake news CNN about a debate that they're going to have with the Democratic National Committee political reported this weekend and Joe Biden's team apparently wants to sit down not stand toe to toe with Bernie Sanders I guess they think there's some advantage in that for him to do that sort of thing I don't know why but anyway so there was a another story that I solved one crime where at a St Louis rally Joe Biden shocked observers by speaking for a sparse seven minutes thanks seven minutes that's about all the time they feel come to okay that's long enough all right let's get out here what do you say allying dog face ponies that made our way to get this stuff and what you might say well Hannity you're being particularly harsh well we've identified now a hundred and sixty four specific gaps here's how when we get back or but the bottom of the half hour after the news I'll play just the last two weeks that goes on over two minutes of of these Biden gaffes brain farts I don't know what you want to call it anything you want to call it but it seems to be increasing in the incidents are increasing as now the pace of the campaign increases while another words that he doesn't have the stamina strength the mental focus the ability and toughness to get through this thing without somebody propping him up and if you say well they would what if it was Donald Trump well they did it to Ronald Reagan all sorts of questions after the first debate with Walter Mondale in nineteen eighty four I'll play V. also leave the line that says one forty nine states for regular was one line I will not let my opponent's youth and inexperience be a factor in this campaign the end of it even even Mondale no it was hilarious the VA you watch the video Mondale's cracking up because it was such a great life will play that coming up soon as well I will get to the the corona virus madness hysteria I will give you truth facts hopefully useful to use you can protect yourself and family by the way this unlike H. one N. one is impacting older people not young people and we'll tell you about the cruise ship that is about to dock in the media is like following its every inch two thousand three hundred sixty Bucks you want to lose that amount of money two thousand three hundred sixty Bucks because according to the FBI that is the average.

She was wearing the way they did that. They're like Oh congrats by the way you want other onto. Why did that happen? Oh it was so maybe you know how like they always have. They have some categories that they don't but it was just interesting that it was done in that way hi She was in this purple sequined dress. That was kind of a symmetrical really interesting. "The low profile CPU cooler. How did that work out? You you basically said it's a worthy substitute for the stock cooler was the performance better than the stock cooler or merely similar to. Yeah. It's it's better of the sad thing is that they're my favorite low-profile, cooler which in this. There's different subsets of low profile. There's like the seventy eight millimeter staf, the fifty fifty eight fifty nine and then this is at forty seven millimeters, which just so happens to be the exact height of an Intel stock cooler, so if you're comparing Intel stock cooler replacements, the best one that I had personally tested was from CHRI rig, which is there see seven. And of course, I find out that the c seven is impossible to find their zero results on PC part picker anything I can find on Amazon's like, outrageously inflated, you know, hundred dollar listings for what was I think thirty nine dollars parted when by reviewed it back in two thousand sixteen so SilverStone released fairly recently this product, which is there are gone series. A R eleven same forty seven millimeter height, it's using a ninety two millimeter fan, and it is kind of like in design. It's kind of like. Taking that hyper to twelve Yvo in squishing it down for his millimeters because you have the four direct heat pipes. Just like Ryan the hyper to twelve and I thought that was kind of a novel thing if four heat pipes in forty seven millimeter cooler in actual practice. It could use a little bit of milling. You could be flatter. You're not going to get absolutely perfect contact with all four heaps must using a lot of thermal paste. And I guess it's like samples specific how flattered is. So I think that kind of impaired its ability to cool because it ended up not beating out the Cryer rig. But it doesn't really matter. If you can't get the trial rate is significantly better than Intel solution league, Intel stock cooler can technically cool a core. I seven if you're only concern is not hitting the t junction hundred see temperature. I could run by a. Which I did hit, of course with my core. I seven seventy seven hundred k which was hottest core. I seven I've ever tested until the nine hundred k. Using a reasonable like a rational low-profile, CPU, cooler or CPU choice, which is I I just threw a core. I three eighty one hundred which is a quad core basically replaced the seventh. Jan core. I five is named.

But I wanted to provide one for you. Maybe you can. Confirm or deny it. The movie heartbreak ridge with Clint Eastwood gunnery sergeant highway. He was in charge the recon platoon, and in my opinion. Gunnery sergeant highway is Trump or company gunnery sergeant highway and re competition is the Republicans. They didn't have they did not have a leader. And now Trump is leader. And he's dragging them to victory kicking and screaming. Pardon me, a little bit nervous. Why are you nervous you work on f fourteen Tomcat radars for CHRI guided nobody else could do that. Well, a lot of high school graduates can do it. Anyways. When I look at the Republican party. You look at the so called leadership. You look at McConnell, not a leader bainer, not a leader Brian McCarthy. Bush forty one Bush forty three none of them were leaders. The most recent leader we can name the Republican party would either be Reagan or Gingrich. Period. Right. And look part and parcel of Wichita leader is somebody that standing up to and trying to defeat the opposition. That's essentially, we that's what we've not had exactly and the Republican party kinda like kinda wanders around the woods trying to figure out what they should do. And all they see is the media. And they see the accolades at the Democrats get from the media. So they they change they have a they have a they have a conflict between their convictions. And their desire to be well. In your analogy with the with the heartbreak ridge. There's no question here that that Trump is is a leader both elected in natural. And you're right. I mean, there haven't been a whole lot of these.
