"Okay so my mom was a huge fan of the saddest songs on the planet. It was always send in the clowns sunshine on my shoulders leaving on a jet plane. There was a lot of john denver going on in our house. And i always asked her mom why. Why is an whatever we want him to taiwan. It was this Whatever we go to karaoke bars it would always be the saddest songs. Like i played for so i would ask around mom. You know i would ask my cousins my aunts uncles. Why is it that taiwanese people are so obsessed with sad music. And she'd say well we had a hard life and it's kinda true we have taiwan's been occupied pretty much since the very very beginning right. So it's the olympics going on right now right and at what are we known as the olympics. We are chinese taipei. Hello i mean how do you even. I never remember the first year. I ever realized that this was happening. I was like what. That's not taiwan. I'm so confused. Like how is that. How is that even reality. But yeah so to her to her point. "Them in the eleven. You guys are banned so ridiculous band. You know what you have to remove one color from your flag. We're going to new bart's with parade of flags year the back. Yeah and somebody's flag. Might accidentally wave in front of yours. Time to time a deal with that russia. Now wanna dope up. Your athletes earn still a lot. I mean they won't take a stand on that. They won't take a stand on china forcing Taiwan to be called chinese taipei right. There's no such thing as chinese taipei and but that's what they can go buy. It is so goes against all the principals. They supposedly stand for their a joke. There a hypocritical. challah have been forever you know. They live off the country's paying them big dollars to pretend like they'll pick them for the olympics. Yes sir that is very true. Good gig man. You could make that. i'll see committee. Oh yeah that's a good good all right and It back to the mongering. This is kind of interesting pat head army of Army of bob sent this to us. He's noticing a pattern. He puts these Show us the time magazine headlines or covers from two thousand three the truth about sars two thousand four bird-flu two thousand five chicken something death threat two thousand nine. Another one going to have to wear masks again. Why you'll have to wear masks. You'll be wearing masks and then in two thousand nine also h. One in one. How bad will it get. I mean they're just hoping for some kind of worldwide pandemic. something's gotta stick twenty fourteen. The fear monger chasing ebola. Two thousand sixteen. The zeka virus two thousand seventeen. Some other kind of warning Too small to read. I can't read that. But then they got corona virus twenty twenty and the the fax revolution twenty twenty one so they are just inferior different year. They are just fearmongering like crazy. Surprise the cover as a delta. That's probably that'll be the next one. And then we got this from pat head Joey irish four sent us the future. Futuristic movie timeline so clockwork orange was supposedly set in nineteen ninety-five and it goes all the way to dune which takes place in sway out in. The future will like past twenty-five five. Okay so where are we on that time line. We're past jammed between blade runner and toilet so soil. Greens the next bet. We have coming up next year. Didn't green took place at twenty twenty two. Wow at least. We're not quite as dark as that society. Bro it's twenty two year time line. We're on the new trailer for doing. Have you seen the new dune. Really good tasks really good. The one in the eighties was. I did not like a snooze. It'd be exactly right on the same page on that movie would want to watch the trailer and Finally finally watched the trailer was like. "Match and the badminton. Korean association has now filed a complaint against her saying she violated sports ethics so anyway Going forward we saw died. It's not all sort of coon by. In fact there's ways in which going forward the media may use this different political forces. Make use this to incite tension among countries or between countries. Not to mention that there's already tension on display this only going to continue to be carried forward for instance in badminton You had a win. By what the olympic committee calls chinese taipei which was a deal brokered in the seventies with the taiwanese olympic committee because of course beijing refuses to recognize the island of taiwan. As they believe no right for recognition and any swear spent especially the olympics. Fear so the deal brokered was to. They compete without their flag without their anthem under the name chinese taipei however after winning badminton gold. The teams from chinese taipei Re tweeted it. And said i'm from taiwan Which got of course. A lot of support And this is something of course that is not going to go lightly away especially given that the next games are going to be in beijing In the olympic cycle and it reminds us that there's a lot that goes into the names And flags and anthems that we see or don't see Along those lines. Of course it's going to be continued. Scrutiny on the russian olympic committee who of course despite russian being banned the russian committee of athletes was everywhere winning a bunch of metals. And then of course we see political happenings coming up in individual athletics as well with individual athletes are having issues with their nation state. Rate lindsey yeah. i mean. it's really tough. When you think about the nationalism and the pride and you know we see like the celebrations and fiji and all these things where there's this positive nature for winning for your country. But there's a lot of negative here too and you know what we saw. Happening in belarus is just really extremely disturbing. So we had christina timana sky who is a sprinter from belarus who criticized her coaches during the games because they literally out of nowhere wanted her to run in the four hundred meter relay even though she had not prepared for that all they entered her into it and she felt that it would damage her chances and the two hundred meter sprint which was her marquee event and so she criticized them immediately..

"I would call these inclusion games With a very high degree of difficulty organizing the olympics and paralympics during this pandemic as i say. It's like like simone biles executing a chink double. Pike which is a volt so difficult. No other female gymnasts wants to do it. Byles previous to this olympics could do it. And japan is executing so in sixty four. Japan hoped the world would include japan than they did. In twenty twenty one the world hoped japan would include the world and they did you mentioned the the public opinion polls which show that people in japan overwhelmingly opposed holding the games in part due to the fear that it would lead to a current surge. You're in tokyo right now. What has public sentiment been like around the games and has it changed at all since the start of the games. Yeah it's it's like a split personality in in japan before the games of course The news reports were all about how the infection rates are climbing. And there were of course people saying you know we should still tansel the games and of course you had protests in the streets. Now actually. I was in the one part on july twenty second which is the day. Before the opening day. I was walking around the tokyo bay. Arenas their their whole bunch of rina's for tennis for gymnastics for swimming in this landfilled part of tokyo bay and i walked around on july twenty second and it was like a ghost town. I mean that should have been filled with people with sponsors having activities and events It should have been really festive affair but it was. There was no one on the streets and of course the arenas were empty now. The next day literally twenty four hours later. I'm walking around the area of national stadium and It's noontime and everyone is looking up to sky to watch the blue impulse. Which is the aerial acrobat jet team. That drew the olympic rings during the nineteen sixty four tokyo opening ceremonies. And they did the same thing. The day of the opening ceremonies and it was a very exciting moment. A lot of pictures taken walked around the national stadium. There were a lot of people taking pictures and apparently during the opening ceremonies. A lot of people were sitting around the stadium and and enjoying the by now wants the games have begun if we watch if you watch the tv. There is of course the concern of the increasing infection rates but the tone has also shifted to very rah rah attitude supporting team japan team. Japan is done very well. They had set the record for number of gold records in nineteen sixty four has not been broken since until few days ago i think japan set the twenty one gold medals so now the sporting world of japan is very excited about the olympics. But you see the the somber mood in the news programs about the climbing infection rate. So it's quite a bifurcated. Look at the games great. We'll stop there. Thank you so much for joining me. I'm glad to help next. Here's libby laying former speechwriter for the president of taiwan. So libby thank you so much for joining me. Let's jump right in. Some of our listeners have probably noticed while they've been watching the olympics that there's a country called chinese taipei participating in the olympics. What is chinese taipei. So chinese taipei's actually the name that taiwan competes under in a lot of International sporting events and actually a lot of international organizations as well so through the origins of that term. I mean how did they have. They come to be called chinese taipei. So prior to the nineteen seventies. Taiwan had been competing under the name republic of china because at the time the taiwanese government was recognized as one legal government of the republic of china which they claim to also cover all of china but then beginning in the nineteen seventies. The chinese government on china the people's republic of china began to contest this and so in nineteen seventy six. Taiwan was denied official representation at the olympics under that name and so they chose to boycott those olympics. So then in nineteen seventy nine. There was a sort of compromise reached between the two sides between the people's republic of china and taiwan public of china and the compromise reached with that taiwan would compete under the name. Chinese taipei which didn't fully satisfy either side butts was acceptable. Enough that they can move forward. So there's been some reporting about a difference in generational thinking when it comes to chinese taipei. I was wondering if you could. You could break down for us. What is the younger younger generation in taiwan. How do they view competing under that name. So i think it's actually really important to understand. I y Older generations may have found it more acceptable And part of that comes from the two translations that you can take of the name chinese taipei when it's translated into chinese so for the people's republic of china for china they translated to basically equal taipei comma china as in taipei a province of china whereas on the time when he assigned they have it translated as chinese taipei chinese in a cultural sense so back in the day when the cam t. was in power when this resolution was reached most of the population still did believe that the republic of china government was a one legal government of china and that someday they would retake the rest of china but obviously beginning a decade or two ago as the dp. The current hardy in power grew in popularity and people came to more identify with their taiwanese. Identity people have started to kind of chafe under the name chinese taipei. Because they think that it doesn't really represent the identity of both the country that they are from worthy athletes. That are competing under that so this year taiwan won a gold medal in badminton and i was wondering how this dichotomy that we're talking about manifest itself in something is which would be something as simple as just a medal ceremony so the gold medal match took place.

"You mean not seem for twenty twenty. Three one of the best pitchers in baseball. I thought that was mclovin. Best and worst of the weekend okay. I'm gonna go in the olympics. Sportsmanship theme this guy. Running the eight hundred named jewish got tripped isaiah jewish and american and he basically was going to be in the middle competition and he hugged the guy trip them and they ran over the finish line together and i admit i got a little sentimental. He was mad that he got tripped. Even though blue metal chairs. okay. And i'll go to best i. Just i'm obsessed with it now. Bryce harper at three doubles yesterday. He's raking over three hundred for the year. We have a war going on dan. Hold on. I'm going to say this to next hour because pulling out of nowhere gave me a perhaps a hall of fame candidate or somebody who might be head of bryce harper. Going to the hall of fame totally surprised me. We did some research here for a change. And i'm like okay. Police got an argument here. That's coming up next hour. You thought that was an argument. I thought i was actually surprised at how we case ain't no connor. Best and worst of the week. It's the olympics are best for is that you do a deep dive into just random sports this weekend. The badminton final between the the women's badminton final was just tremendous. It was like the most gripping thing i've watched in a long time spent tastic china against chinese taipei. It was. i can't believe badminton is. It was remarkable so good. I'll give you credit for the pronunciation. Their badminton minton. Yeah because they re insist on saying that way on the broadcast badminton been so. You can't really messed that one up The other thing too that i watched that was equal parts. Lame an equal parts awesome the sports more of an activity. Do you wanna give guest. Would i watched dressage. I don't know what that is but that don't think that's it horses No no trampoline ing kinda lame not gonna lie. I mean they jump up the it's kinda lame but it's also kind of awesome because they're go about like thirty or forty feet in the air and they're doing all these flips and sometimes they're supposed to stay right in the middle. There's like a target that you're trying to get in. But sometimes you'd see this these people flipping and you're like oh my god. He's right at the edge and then they almost fall. It's put it's kinda lame but it's kind of awesome. Sounds like something you do if you were high but yeah..

"This wasn't my turf. It was just what i was worried about. Is the guy overreacting being like. Hey leave me alone. Trying to win a gold medal He spent a talked to him about like twenty twenty five minutes on sunday morning And if you get the guy going in a comfortable setting it's hard to make him stop. It was unsurprising where After zander made the final putt and one gold stephan talked to reporters for like twenty twenty. Five minutes And couldn't stop and was like curious to if anyone could challenge his japanese leaky. He's embiid boastful He he he's a good person. Have a debate with. Because he's smart. he's he. he's kind of got a french german background. But he married Someone who was from china chinese taipei and who's lived in japan his head business partners all over the world. He's he like really understands local culture here but also in all other countries like kind of across the world and all of his travel so talking to him about the world is a lot of fun And he'll tell you things he'll ask you things like it's not a one way street when you're conversing with stephen's softly and so we talked about how he kinda been unsure about going to the olympics. I mean zander was very unsure about competing at all. Because like louis stays and famously said like did not make it easy on us They were trying to set players up firstly at the olympic village. But secondly like at kind of all. These olympic approved hotels and stephenson. No way i need to have a good hotel. We need to have a good hotel for our son and our team that we need to be comfortable stephan. Basically a one of his old business partner..

"The cash up. Okay hank all your whose backs have been taken but give us a gives. Your best shot has bua snoop dogg. Who in twenty twenty seven twenty. Seventeen celtics are apparently going to be back. Oh i thought it was. I thought i was getting tricked. Are thought someone re tweeted an old tweet. On my timeline From nba central which. I wasn't sure if it was confirmed or it was jeff. Green is reportedly a primary target for the celtics. Boston could also show interest in kelly. Olympic and avery bradley. Wow brad stephen back together. Running back coach i. I would say getting jeff. Greenback is a good sign right because it's like him and jay crowder are always in the playoffs. Yeah i guess. Yeah i mean he's a dinosaur at this point he wasn't even you know i am a little jealous two or two or three times that you like time travel this weekend because you walked in your we got a lot of nba. Like westbrook like yeah. That was friday show and but it was like. I'm jealous of you. Yeah nothing like just like time. Traveling with your brain catching yeah. Yeah all right. Who's your who's back. We'll hang took all mine. A chinese taipei is back. Oh we hear about chinese taipei once every four years during the olympics because they China has the olympic committee the and by proxy all the broadcast partners by the balls. And so they're not allowed to say taiwan on the broadcast. Because if you call the country. Taiwan it implies that it's a country and not property of the people's republic of china which is one of the fascinating little like this league's going back and forth is china claims taiwan. So they call it. Chinese taipei like it's a district. Taiwan claims that they own china and taiwan calls themselves the republic of china. I like that and so it's always like which where they're gonna go. But since the olympic committee and its nbc referring to in his chinese taipei isn't really a country but it's always nice to see that pop up it's like when when espn drew the seven dotted line around the south china sea. Right for the games that were over there just gave them property of all this water. Yeah that's that's essentially what. Nbc's doing like weighing into foreign relations. I like it. i like it. Yeah the the different. I mean i still t- keep seeing like the aro see is just with. No flag is always funny. Relation bayrock nation. My whose back is is rowdy. Gaines Because he we get reminded every four years. The best announcer all sports rowdy gaines for swimming. Who i is there. A difference between him and scott hamilton. Do the same same yet. One does figure skating one does swimming. Johnny guy yeah but he's awesome. He's electric and killed wrestle. Who has the coolest tattoos really just hot And has an awesome body but swimming. What the olympic tattoo. No eagle and it's like a hole in a gator. His whole sleeve is sick for view about the olympics. I mean that's just gets i actually. I want to get an olympic tattoo and then people would just actually now siemian jason. Hell the sky. Yeah that's it's so choosy to get the olympic tattoo. If you're an olympian but yeah rowdy gaines and then did you know this is a fun fact that we gotta start flexing on people The us has never lost the one hundred meter medley. Fifteen in a row dominated the only time we haven't won. It was one thousand nine hundred when we didn't go to the olympics. So fifteen for fifteen in in One hundred meter medley swimming. That's pretty good. Yeah they also forum tattoo on the guy that won the hundred dash. Yes you're forum. Tattoos make you faster. Yes absolutely italian. So the olympics are still going on. I don't really i'm kinda. I'm kinda over the olympics. I still got olympic fever. It's a mild fever at this point. Been fixed it's dissipating. Got the antibodies just the time zones of killed the at times. Yeah i just in time. Zones are brutal. One thing. I do want real really real. Can you do me a favor. Can you blog this this week. I noticed that guy that that won the hundred meter dash had never broken ten seconds until like three four months ago and just thought it was interesting to note that. And how he. I don't think he was even a short distance sprinter until like the last year. So he's run ten point five ten point once he wouldn't even qualify with his fastest time as recently six months ago and then he won the entire olympic. So i just thought that was an interesting thing that maybe you could write a blog about. I'll look into it changes. We got her best guy on it. Yeah also we had some journalism. Journalism crime Any mcauliffe who. I think he writes for the athletic. He was mocking The the olympic journalists because one of them wrote about the bathrooms in japan. But that's the journalism i want. Yes so the the the quote that he that he tweeted out Generally speaking public restrooms here much cleaner than they are in the united states and using them as significantly more comfortable the restrooms at olympic stadium. Elevate experience to another level as the offer maximum privacy. Not only is the bottom of the door on each stall only an inch or so off the ground sitting on the toilet activates recording of running water and chirping birds that is intended to drown out any embarrassing. Sounds that fucking rule. It's amazing also. Sounds like a great bathroom. If you're the offensive line coach of the miami dolphins yes. Yes that name. Maximum privacy in loud noises. I don't know faulk was. His name was his name. Mr columbia chris. Foerster chris chris forrester. Yes booked a flight to japan. Aco i i don't know why that guy was making fun of that. That's fucking awesome journal. Daddy journals is like remember when it was in russia and there were like waves of reports that come out the first wave would be all the reporters that went over there and they'd be like my phone was hacked within the first five minutes of landing in russia right and then the second wave was. I'm in the hotel. And there's a wolf walking through kimmel. Yeah yeah fuck. Jimmy kimmel for that. I believed it jake. Your who's back duke. Basketball is back. Oh last four days they have secured to top twenty recruits for next year. All right billy. Who's your who's back. walk. Yes fred durst. Okay look looks like a basketball coach from the eighties. Yeah he looks. Like if fred durst was playing. Jimmy carter bio-pic it's it's very bizarre. I don't really understand. I have to manches. I think i completely understand it. Because i was. I was telling somebody about this picture on thursday night. And i was describing how hilarious fred durst looks on instagram. And i was like. I have to go see limps perform because i need to see him. Perform live looking like this and as those words came out of my mouth. I was like you played me like a fiddle fred. He dollars instagram posts. I think he's wearing a wig and now they're going on tour and so he wants people to talk about his new look and buy tickets. He played me like a fucking fiddle day at work. But guess what when you go see olympics kidney Yeah no he he was smart by fred durst also lalla being back in like i listen. I'm not going to get into the whole delta ovarian shit but you gotta be a tremendous loser. If you're just tweeting out like what's the new strain going to be. Look at all these people at lala. You're just basically saying you'll never have fun again in your. You're rooting for bad things. Yeah you're you're like. I'm gonna sit at home and everyone's going to go live their life and do awesome fun shit and i'm just going to hope for them all to die so that i can be like told you so fucking losers Okay peyton oh also who's back. "To like help. Falsify test results like this was like industrial-scale doping. This wasn't just like a bunch of people were taken stuff. This was like in a way. The athletes were not the guilty people because it seemed like they'd never choice will. Yeah it was kinda like the russian authorities like you must win. We will dope you. And we will falsify results in the. Fsba is going to be involved. So yeah i on the one end. You don't wanna punish athletes but on your right like apart. From the fact that they have to tchaikovsky instead of the restaurant and they have a weird name is not that much of a punishment no they got a cooler name. The rock now. That's the rock is. It's kind of ominous. It's very fitting geopolitical. Moment that the russians are there even though they cheated they're still allowed to participate and they have this kind of scary name like yeah. I don't know. There's a similar dynamic happening with taiwan which has to use the title Chinese taipei this dates back to an agreement they made with international olympic committee. Nineteen eighty one that. Let's taiwan compete. But it skirts. The issue of whether taiwan is a sovereign nation. I do i. How do you think that's going to play out in twenty twenty two. Maybe taiwan won't have any when the games are in china. The winter games will. But i don't know if they have any winter. Athletes will say. Well i i you know i tell the story in the And after fall which we should by then but book which is one of the young hongkongers. I talked to said that the first moment when she kind of began to freak out a bit was in the two thousand twelve olympics There was a hong kong kind of pop star who expressed support for like hong kong athletes participating in the olympics and got like trolled on an industrial scale by like millions of chinese Internet users and it seemed like there was a state hand behind that like i was kind of information campaign and she had to apologize because kind of message was you won't be able to sell your records in and it's like this. This infection of again sports of politics is really fucking annoying. And why can't the taiwanese athletes participate as they would like to participate. I'm sure babe think of themselves as taiwanese like chinese taipei doesn't mean anything to anybody insulting to them. Yeah yeah the the other thing. i'm just preemptively. Anxious about is what donald trump is going to tweet. I guess he can't tweet put on his stupid blog about simone biles who pulled out of the gymnastics competition citing mental health issues. I also was reading more about her decision and espn at a good article on it. That was talking about. How like the stuff she does is just so insanely hard. That if you're not really like mentally fully there you can really hurt yourself. And that might have been part of why she was shaking and didn't want to compete. I don't know yes. Rollercoaster of emotions since My wife woke me up at four o'clock in the morning because she was gymnast. And if you know that she was a competitor last rites she's like deep on gymnastics right and And so i see this vault go wrong. And and and and his like. That doesn't that was way off. It wasn't just not a good vault like she was pulled out of us. He was not. She didn't do her move right here. And that could have been dangerous and choose even surprises receive neighbor land and then she pulls out. I'm like i thought about this all day. And i have a take right gives them and not. Everything's a take on everything. You right burnham rule like can i quote bo burnham not directed at you. I distracted twitter. Here's my take right because you made one point. That is absolutely true. Which is. I'm already dreading the culture war indication of this but i'm gonna connect patrick ewing to simone biles. Okay because strange take on here for the right cause this is a different cultural aspect and how it interacts with sports. I love patrick graham right. He was great basketball player. The knicks were really good for like a decade. They made the finals couple times. You never want ring. And there's this new culture where like if you don't win a ring you're like a failure. Yeah like you. This kind of rings culture in the nba like barkley ewing. These people are total failures. Like never mind the great. He's like a you know. An all star dream team like like gave a lot of a lot of people right so byles ones boatload of gold medals in rio right. And it's like there's a goat culture now right where it's like. No no you have to like you have to get better and better and better and she was doing things because ends been telling you that you're not supposed look like you could break your neck if you don't land like her moves the right way because they're so far beyond what a normal human would do right clearly. Something in the culture was pushing this extraordinary halfway. Who's already liked the best. Jim we've seen to just do stuff like was well beyond like what like a human should be asked to do what it wasn't like good enough like the she just win gold medals right and puts her position where she knows if she's not on that day she could really herself right and so what is she going to knowing that she's not on and like there's something not right in terms of how she's feeling as she's thinking is she going to compete in multiple events where she could have like a like a really catastrophic injury like how did we get to a point where. She felt like she had to do this again. Like the kerry strug rejoinder that you're saying like well. She competed with a broken ankle. Is that good. Do we want little kids competing with broken yet. They're playing hurt. Thing is tricky right because like you know like somebody iconic moments right are are people hurt. I guess to my ewing points just like listening to her. Give interviews leading into these olympics. It didn't feel like there was a ton of joy in how perfect she felt like she had to be. You know And why like why. Can't it be good enough. She's just like the gymnasts and can win gold medals like she clearly like felt pressured to ascend to some level. That is probably beyond. What in human being jump should even do you know like And so that's my weird. Take as thought about this. Just like there's clearly something was pressuring her to kind of go beyond like nobody else in the competition even tries to do anything like the things that she does like. Couldn't she just do routine and win. A gold medal like. It's not her fault her fault pushing herself to do the big bats hardest routines right. She's a fucking super competitive person. Then everybody gets into it and it's like wants to see her be like superhuman and it's kind of like like why can't we just see athletes. Be humans win competitions. I'm all for like shitting on highly paid professional athletes when fans feel like it. Because that's part of the bargain like get tons of money you could adulation you n. In return people can say terrible things about you on twitter. And that's kind of the deal now even though it's a little bit gross. I do think the gym the olympics are different to me. I mean the women's gymnastics team has like kind of transcended the normal olympian status right. They're not a person you hear about for a couple weeks every four years. They're like stars. The celebrities are really quite rightly so they're incredibly the end. And what's what i'm trying to say. I don't think they owe us any like you don't owe it to people to compete if you don't feel like it's safe for you You know i'd like where i like. I think people could be disappointed. You can be sad. You don't get to see her compete. But i think like i just i am preemptively worried about the cultural worship for the same reasons you are that. Like someone's going to attack her for the mental health reasons or something and it's going to create a conversation. That is like deeply unhelpful. I mean we'll we'll step back and possibly the world is not the best venue..

I did not know this that. When there's a tie what do you do. When there's a tie at the end of the round and you've gone through the shootouts and there's a tie i did not know that it's closest to the bullseye That was new to me that that they basically take everyone's shots and whoever's got a shot closest to the bullseye wins and As i pointed out that probably also got them a golf back. I think that's a you got a golf bag in a golf tournament. Once chris absolutely you know so they got a golf bag. And then you know. A gold medal match against chinese taipei and you know The video was just put out on our friends at peacock right now. it's it's. It's a stirring finish three consecutive bullseyes. We've also had defeat on the men's side for Stanford drinker today, So yeah, a lot of big names have gone but some of the bigger names like Serena Williams are still in the tournament. She was a comfortable win it. Yeah. How did she look? Serena, you know, 1st 1st round you look fine. Second round. How was she? She's looking like a favorite early doors. David. She does She looks I would say the best. She's looked in a number of years. I mean, these are two very straightforward when she's only lost five games in four sets so far. Today was against me in a stand of it, so you would expect it to win that one relatively comfortably. But she did, And she's turning 40 this year is Serena Williams. And yet she really does look like she could make some headway in this draw Her sister Venus, unfortunate She won't She lost for the winning just one game today, but turned her ankle and injured and me halfway through a match against sorrow. "The Grizzlies got a fourth straight win. Within one twenty seven to one six defeat of the Knicks San Antonio stops three games scared what they won twenty seven to one twenty win over Utah. The thunder world. Pass the Kings one. Twenty to one hundred and Damian. Lillard had thirty six points in the trailblazers one. Twenty five to one twelve win over the rockets putting up just shy of two hundred points in the last four games. That's a wrap from me. See the jets over there. Shaking his head about unbelievable homerun from Damian Lillard. Welcome back into foul territory. We're talking about the sports that are actually going on. You know we've got a lot of build up to the Super Bowl. We got a lot of off off the field stuff. Obviously in Major League baseball during this Never ending off season. If you're a team had like Jenin I are at least that I don't know about seem I'm head but very big baseball fans counting down the days spring training. It's gotta be I mean we're GONNA have training in in the month February and we're GonNa have take the twenty third ish so yeah we're around twenty five days I think before game start. An pitchers catchers are usually ten days before that that syllabus. We'll start seeing them in about a week and a half. I was going to say a matter of weeks and not many weeks. Science L. pitchers and catchers report. And it's a little unfair. They shouldn't the players it. Shouldn't everybody get there at the same time I was gonna say I guess but aren't most of them just here all the time anyways when it's not the regular season art most of them already already here and there Paradise Valley or Scottsdale or Queen Creek Fountain Hills Mansions while usually find out from the police. Bader who's hanging out in Scottsdale got stale spring training start. WHO's actually around or not? You know the advice as always or Scottsdale professional athletes to stay the heck out of Scottsdale tails seriously go up to desert ridge. You can have some beverages while you stroll the mall up there like there's other places you can go to stay out of Scottsdale stay out of Scottsdale the most celebrities to I think it's just just stay out of Scottsdale. Nothing good happens in Scottsdale especially after ten PM and where do you work work during the day. What sitting in Scottsdale Ninety five all right? So I. I you know. Maybe you should take a little bit of your vice course. You don't end up on the police blotter because you are safely in studio here. And you know you have structure you have the structure of going to a job and then coming back to Phoenix and coming into the studio and and going on the air each and every day you follow her by the way on twitter at general rich but that would require you know if you want any response from. Everyone require times do stuff not your favorite social media. I don't get the whole acting at people. All in replying to things in the tweets and sometimes with the threads you have to go backwards to see what someone's even talking about and it's just like reading a giant long email thread it's like reading like a really crappy regular workday email thread and it's all the kids are doing but yeah no I don't. I don't like twitter okay. That's okay you're on instagram. A girl at a girl of many hats yes. How many do you have I think I'm hovering governor on one thirtieth or thirty thirty Hockey Baseball Minor League Baseball Independent League football football travel hats. You do it you have you. Have you have a have a football team that played in a league. That doesn't even exist so that you know these Pat's which I actually collected the Phoenix Open for free. So I'm actually really glad I invested no money in that. We got that coming up this weekend as well today everything started right. Yeah so Wednesday the la the program on Wednesday. You get the Yeah and then the practice on Tuesday pro-am on Wednesday. They have the whole in one contest. I I'll be honest you know unless I'm there I. It's things like spring training. I'm interested in spring training game when I'm there but not necessarily surly you know. Just just hear about it. I'm not gonNA read up on. You know who did what the whole one contest who did what in the pro-am which is an amateur with a a professional and they're not always you know really overwhelming you get a couple of big celebrities on the amateur side but for the most part it's it's it's a nobody with a golfer. Yeah I mean I was spring training at least glance at the scores. See kind of what's going on but yeah not too much. Death Phoenix Open. Yeah I don't unless I go and I don't even really I guess. Pay attention even when I go in person but I most certainly don't pay attention when I'm not there in prison all right you. It kind of the theme for the segment is Damian. Lillard scored thirty six russell. Westbrook scored thirty nine and in that rockets blazers game. I believe you said that. The Blazers prevailed Mack Games. So that's That's a good thing but this run that Lillard spin on it hasn't necessarily equal victories for the the blazers. I mean you know you go back You know in the loss against Dallas the other night he scores forty seven and they lose by eight The game that he scored sixty one. They won by five The game before that thirty four they lose thirteen another thirty four pointer against a void of loss to Dallas. Assad twice last week and a half year Both Times by eight points ten point winners on the night that he scored fifty against Portland on the twenty six. which was Sunday and out? You know not the high man on the scoresheet but his team won. And that's the most important thing but I think that it really speaks speaks to the prioritization of the individual over the team It doesn't matter if you hit four home runs and your team loses. He's got to win so fun. I mean it's still fun to watch and you'll want to collect individual. Athletes Play Golf. Play tennis with with me on that. Yeah so also Alexander Ovechkin every goal. He scores He's GonNa pass somebody on the all time list when he had like seven people ahead of them all right well yeah he. He passed he passed Eisenman for ninth and put them in a tie with with. What is it six hundred ninety three goals with Mark Messier? These are familiar names. But of course you know the names that you're that you here's you get to the top of the list and whether it's the NBA scoring list in the NHL scoring list. "Up to thirty two degrees service were on the positive side of freezing and joined in studio by my buddy Steve because he is the director of training for the Wisconsin umpires association also in alderman in oak creek stuff yes I am what's going on in that city lot of good stuff and yet we have we're on a nice run I have to say that all right so we're talking about I'm part of officiating this move to start punishing parents that are acting up one the follows from this is the fact that there's less people that are going into purring officiating and that's a big problem it it's across the board not just baseball my world is baseball but softball I hear stories about football officials that you know generally those guys work as a team and for years and you know you you guys are just tired of it and and they're given up in these guys have been out there for real ten twelve years are our biggest problem in baseball is we we tend to be able to recruit a lot of high school kids who want to come out and earn some money it's a lucrative part time job it's it's very it can be very good if you hustle out there you can do very well in this area because with the explosion of of select baseball league awesome opportunity every weekend every night all over there to try county area so how do we fix this problem how do we get more people going into the we are obviously then what they'll supply bar supply demand I got to pay more probably which is a good thing but if not if not people are seeing this is saying I don't want to grieve how do you fix that problem well the pay is coming up for for some weeks and for and and for high school ball in places the the what we need to do is we have a training program that that will start in January will train empires for all tense ten straight weeks and we push them out there into the field properly equipped with a basic knowledge of how to how to how to umpire baseball but we need to we as an organization and and other empires need to to mentor to these young kids because if we can get on past the first first year into her second year generally they might stick around and I know of a lot of high school because I work with that are now doing heights high school ball and they've been around for you five five years or so so we've got them the older guys are were shortages you know I'm sixty two I don't know how many more years I'll be able to run around so you got an H. factor and then you have the the issues with the the parents and the coaches and players were folks just you know all players to subside I'm done with the stuff I don't need to have this hassle anymore one of the things that's complicating things is the of the arrival of smart phones so they can document this whole thing and put blasted out of social media which that's right and you know it isn't always the parents in the coaches at our problem in there is there are some players in my world again I'm part baseball umpires are perfect all my gosh you know I've made mistakes I've owned my mistakes and when I've I've gone back to coaches and apologize for making it miss you know misinterpreting rule but you know you got guys that show up in and that not every not everywhere but their guys to show up in bed looking pants and dirty shirts and it's all about them just getting the money you know they could care less even had their face in a rule book in years because changes every year and he and the biggest one next year is going to be the new designated hitter role but if you don't if you don't learn those rules you're going to have issues and these guys are out there it's all about them not about the kids and they they had they grow these rabbit ears and just hear everything that's being sad and then they feel obligated to go back there and argue with the parents and coaches when that's not what and and they cause a problem and then you know what happens parents are turning on their smartphones and recording everything and next thing you know they're on you too let's go back to lily World Series you said you were at two of them I'm tiring how much fun is that for those kids you know it's it's a blast the I was down in easily South Carolina for big league and Taylor Michigan for junior baseball you know you you you got kids from all over the world that they come here and my game when the games I did there was with Chinese Taipei and they could understand English and I can understand their language but they understand what a ball and strike user and I it's just it's just fun to have these kids get out there and eight the I did some crossover games last year Australia versus Missouri and you know these kids are you know they're playing baseball than are out playing Australian football afterwards it's it's just a blast I mean that's the level of little league that's really competitive and and it is fun to watch and they're all on TV now yes that this that I I always say I talk about the purity of it it's it's before they get messed up by all the other stuff that comes in our lives just to just excited to be playing baseball and are in a really great venue real quick if somebody wants to find out more about I'm hiring officiating how can I find out more.

Henry is from Randy's out in in around Vancouver So mostly out in the west coast. Canada in Minneapolis Saint Paul area. I BELIEVE WE WANNA move on over to the women's side of things. Yes all right so again we'll start with What what we kind of? Call the big three because the last time that a team other than China Japan Korea Korea sneaked into the top three was two thousand eleven so even even further back than the inside. We'll start with China in Jonathan. I kind of pride ourselves as a podcast that we try to know is much about Pacific Asia curling as as anyone else else. WHO WHO? Who does curling podcasts? I know so little about the Chinese skip. It took it took a lot to find out anything So even even US putting ourselves on on knowing as much about Pacific Asia curling as we do It was it was very hard to find. find facts on this team so China this year at PAC's is being skipped skipped by hand you She played at the Twenty Sixteen Youth Olympics where they They had mixed doubles. We're kind of just paired people Willy Nilly and then they had a mixed team That was based By nation so she played on the mix mixed team She was the lead on the Chinese mixed team at the two thousand Sixteen Youth Olympics. Were they went to in five four doubles she paired with of all people full. Ross whites where they won silver alright so she's skipping this team The third is ah Jiang Lejeune. Who is the third four now? Where did I put that note? Where did it go Zhang Jun is the third for Zhenya. Loon loon on her team that plays on the WCTC that teams had a successful year. This year they won the Hukou Blink Classic to kick off the season and they were third at the Ethics Cup Earlier this year so kind of this team has been kind of thrown together. Willy Nilly You have a skip. That doesn't really really have a whole lot of women's level experience and you have a third who has also been kind of shoehorned into this team who placed third on a pretty successful women's Debussy team. I have no idea why they have done this. But they have And that's the team that we'll represent China Japan. It's last year's Japanese champion which is team Chubu Electric Power This team is skipped by. I Saint Nakajima who throws second rocks. Throwing fourth is a quick hit as Ottawa. And the third is the former skip. Schalke Matsumura Yes of the curling family. The strong family of the of Matsumura Yes related to Utah from the inside This team has played in seven so far this year and they've had a lot of success added got wins over Jennifer Jones. Have a win over up and Silver Nagel over. Jamison Claire They one Japanese championships last year and then went on to finish fourth world's This is the third. PAC's for Schalke Matz Mariah. Laura the Korean team kind of a new team kind of not Skipped by Jim Lachey in Jonathan. This is kind of the curling version of the gift versus Jif Debate I've heard a lot of people especially that call curling games on the Internet Pronounce her last name as Gim but then I saw a hey tub. UCF interview with her where she said Jim so she says Jim. So I'm saying Jim Skipped by Jim him on this team stole in the last in to be Kim mingy in the Korean final this year so it's the third different team representing career In three years of course two years ago you had the garlic girls with Kim on John Timon Young representing Korea last year for a litany of reasons that we have gone over many times Kim on young who has not on tour Kim mingy representing Korea in they were a junior eligible team But now this year Japan she won the Korean championship way back in July. I think it was But this is this is her fifth. PECC's it's her first as a skip In this team as the Korean national team has also been in seven events. It's on the WCTC so far this year. They actually won the K. W. Fall Classic They made the semis at the shortage. inkens and they have wins over team stern and teams in Clare team. Muirhead and team filter They are trying to continue Korea. Streak Korea has won the last three. PAC's SEC's on the women's side. Kinda like this team like the way they played at the Korean championships. In in the Games I was able to see I know that team Nakajima is probably going to be the favourite in this and they played extremely well at worlds. But I kind of liked this Korean Rian team. Yeah I'd say they've got a good shot. Yeah there I think it's Japan Korea. I mean I don't know. Do you know anything about this Chinese team. Jason or I agree that it is likely age of Pan Korea final. I think those two are the are the the favorites In this field and the Chinese team is just a little bit younger Ever since Betty being Wang's retired from hurling. The shift has been to the younger players. who were coming out of juniors and China and I don't think they quite gotten there yet compared to the team from academia teen in Japan and the MTM from from Korea so I I would definitely say that those are the favorites? I might actually say in this as well Ryan Yeah they have been pretty good on the WCTC. The last few years they just have never broken through with With Jim Monchy as skip I know that team has had success. in its previous generations because she's played on the world level before believe she's also played in Olympics Uh but they've they've had success on the W. C. T. but now they get the chance to perform as team Korea. I mean we're we're used here in North America to it to seeing the two team Kim's that I like this team to kind of break out and make a name for themselves in this tournament interesting to to watch watch You know what I found And you were talking a little bit about the creativity that's Utah Maxmara has as a skip in it and I feel like the Korean teams teams on. The women's side can strategize a bit. More out of the box than the Japanese. Tend to stick more to a regimented. strategy so that's why I think maybe. The green team is slightly favored over the or the Japanese team. But you know they're they're both really strong and it really could go either way I think and you never know. I mean China playing on on their home soil. That gives them a little bit of motivation to win the bowl. This year Yes so it'll be I imagine you'll see Korean Japan getting those two direct bids two worlds. But yet as you said I mean anything can keep anything can happen I Imagine Agean. You're going to see China playing either Japan or Korea in the two three game and as you said on Chinese soil anything can happen in that in that game. That's going to decide Who has the direct shot the other five teams? There is no team New Zealand for the second straight year on the women's side. But you do have team Australia Lauren. Wagner's skip this is her second. PAC's she finished fourth in two thousand sixteen No Women's Renault Women's world's appearances for the teams that I'm about to mention Heidi Lynn is skipping the Chinese Taipei Women's team. It's the first appearance for Chinese Taipei. PAC's on the women's side since two thousand eight six Hong Kong there's a team representing Hong Kong women's side Lingyu Hung This team has finished fourth. The last two years Kazakhstan is city Sending a team They went to enforce last year. Its fifth overall appearance for Kazakhstan on the women's side in Qatar. It's their third appearance. They do not yet have a win on in the PAC's on the women's side. Jason what can can you tell us about pulling in Qatar well. I know that they're still coached by a really good. And a nice in Gary coach The curly in Qatar I. I don't know where they're actually curling but I do know that they're all they're all locals from there. We I don't see them playing elsewhere. Although I do know that sometimes they do have a little bit more challenged traveling and visas and things like that so otherwise I think it's the same same teams on both the men's and the women's size from from the previous couple of years and they're just lovely people. I just don't think they have enough opportunity. We need to train. And if they can get more opportunity to train and play in Lonsdale's They can get better get better a lot more quickly. So and they wear orange and Maroon so as a Virginia Tech Football Fan They're going to get my support wearing those colors Is there by. Do you think they are well-funded well-funded association in terms of getting their cost cover to go to pacifics so better believe more more funded than some of the other federations Out of those out of those five live Australia. Chinese Taipei Hong Kong has extending Qatar. Is there anyone that kind of stands out above the other. You know this is going to be really interesting. women's draw. I think you know as you mentioned. Lauren Wagner of Australia. Jen West hate interested in Salinas and they finished worth a few years ago. really solid team Chinese Taipei. Their first century skipped by Heidi and Amanda Vice. Those to the back end the fight. Strong they haven't been fairly all that long but they're good curlers Kazakhstan's I think is largely brain doxa. The same team David improving proving every single year and last year. You know they finished. You're saying two and four were asked to in war with Hong Kong and Australia. I believe in Hong Kong snuck through two Fourth of the SEC. Because they had a one one record against each other so it was. It's been very close in the last few years laying who plays mixed doubles with knee. End Plays mixed with me She's got a new lineup to My my wife. Ada is actually moving from second and third stones. They lost their third. Because she's Julie Morrison. She's he's a Scottish originally but she's been living in Hong Kong for almost the last six or seven years. She's moving out of Hong Kong to Ireland because of her husband's work so she's no longer playing Assures moving up to second from lead in a couple of Newer curlers at lead an alternate. So it's going to be You know a big challenge for them to get up to speed quickly because they haven't played together yet and So we'll see how Lincoln and manage that back and You know I'm expecting the team from Qatar to do better this year than they did last year in terms of You know the the competitiveness of their game beardie saw a bit of an an improvement from last year to be from the year before so I anticipate they've been training hard But in terms of WHO's going to get that or spot it's so it's a bit up in the air. I I really don't know I'd agree with that. I mean I don't know I just went. I nervous streaming team a bit. Rashly played in a coach game at the world as a few years ago. At Ten West Hagen we won so Which is going to win the coaches game at the junior B.'s? It's actually some good curlers playing in that so it's not not nothing to sneeze at And I think Kazakhstan's interesting like they're all young. They're still all for juniors and they were not a strong team and they showed up Like four years ago at the world these but they've gotten better every year at the B.'s. Last year they were were On a tiebreaker just to miss making the playoffs there and I think Satori audio revel who is skipping the team at the World Knicks this year and they were again kind of on the cusp of making the playoffs. There so they're the kind of starting to build as a team so it maybe not this year but it's kind of one of those countries that looks like the program's really rising quickly..

"On on three different Three different continents there We we hear about You know the reason that W. CF did that curling curling World Cup last year was we we hear about a TV viewership in in Korea and China is is sky high You know you talk to The Guy who runs curling geek in anytime that he would do a team Korea game Just how many people would show up to just watch him. Put pictures of rocks on a fake On a fake house to demonstrate what The Korean team was doing has that translated to grass roots in in those two countries. Are you able to give us any kind of of insight into Korea in China China and how pearling has developed a grassroots level there. Yeah we certainly have heard it and see it so in Korea and in China what we're seeing is a lot more different teams coming onto the stage and actually playing on a at the C. T. Cash Ville circuit and on the BBC. DT In in Asia as well And we also see when we played in Korea twice with Pacific who played last year in Korea as well as three years three seasons ago. And we're also seeing. There's a lot of young young kids coming out and watching the Games in the in the arena. So we know that there's there's lots of grassroots curly and kids getting into the curling programs grams. They're certainly in Korea and doubtedly here that the same way in China in China they're also very motivated because the Olympic Games they're hosting ritual of income hosted by some you know even if a fraction of the population takes interest in curling in China with their big oscillation potentially a lot of new curlers. So let's let's get into this year's event and we'll talk about your teams I in kind of start Previewing what we can expect from the men's and women's besides the event which starts coming up very soon it starts November second in its emissions in China which I believe you said is actually fairly close to Hong Kong right very close to Hong Kong So all of the players on the Hong Kong team who don't reside in Hong Kong are flying back through Hong Kong and then either taking a train or or car across the border to Shenzhen So for for your team's kind of tell us about kind of what the From you know the thirty thousand feet level kind of what. The aspirations are for the association in the water uttered. What are your specific goals for for this week in this tournament? Yeah I think for the Association because it's events is so close to Hong Kong. They are are doing a lot of promotion to the locals in Hong Kong to come out and and cheer for our team and Go-to Shenzhen as well. I believe there's been some vocal media in Hong Kong who who may be hovering covering the event so That's really exciting back that the location isn't Shenzhen in so host Hong on 'cause allows more promotion to happen for the teams the men's and the women's you know were right you know. Our teams are right in that pack of Middle Grouping of countries right with Australia and New Zealand and Chinese Taipei and Kazakhstan. And we're basically this pack is chasing the the group at the top which is your basically your professional teams from China Korea and Japan who have a lock on basically three of the four playoff spots for all intensive purposes. Right unless something drastic and startling happens. No they've been three of the four teams in the playoffs for. I don't know how many years going back now. So the rest rest of US trying to claim that one final playoff spot you know to have some hope of making it to the to the podium make it to the world championships or making it to the will. WHOA qualification of that so I can? I can actually answer that question for you because I went in I had I had a couple of hours while my son was taking a nap to actually look into this The last time that any team other than China Korea Japan finished in the top three was two thousand twelve l. when Australia did it Does it does it. Does it make it that much tougher for you. Guys on the men's side that there's only one guaranteed spot for world's what's this year in two and three are going to be the ones going to the world qualification event rather than you know on the women's side. If you make the semis lease getting into that qualification. Location event in the top two. We're going to world's yeah. That certainly makes it a lot more difficult rights you know not only do you have to get into the top four. Now you've got gotta you gotTa Win One of your playoff games right So that makes it that much more difficult than it is a work that came out of the new altercation system the men's and women's world championships now where we have the world's wealth creation abandoned where the The guarantee one of the spots that is allocated to your zone is lost if your zone finishes last in the men's and women's in that happened to the men's on the men's side so yes that makes a lot more difficult it certainly leap navy. Changes are outlook a little bit. Might even take some pressure off of you know the teams as well knowing that you know we are really the strong underdogs now to you actually have a a spot at world off occasion that or direct pass the world's You know it might take some pressure off of us too because it's not just getting to the playoffs you he's still have. That's not really the pressure pressure is actually would be waiting to playoff gay if you make the playoffs. And Yeah the the most interesting round on the women's side is going to be the two semi-final Games and then the most interesting mount browned on the men's side is going to be that that battle for first in that pedal for third whereas on the women's aside the semi-final is the doer di round. Yeah exactly exactly. And you know on the men's side for sure I mean not only really do want to finish first in your round robin both the women's site finishing first in the round robin presumably it will go to one of the top three countries Japan in China Korea. They got a big advantage to the fourth place team and we do have to recognize that there is a real gap You know they are the clear favourites over whoever comes out as forth worth wildfire right whether it be New Zealand Chinese Taipei ourselves Australia cows. COW's extend But we have also seen in the last three pacifics bats. One of the top. Three teams has always lost at least one of the games to that middle of the pack and last year New Zealand had a great week They broke through in almost. Maybe should have won the bronze medal him so close the year before I four Australia I believe actually two wins against the top teams and actually finished second in the Round Robin In the year before that Chinese Taipei had a win against one of the top three teams in the round round robin so they are beatable just beat them very often. So you know. It's our turn this year to be one of the top Else why do you think that gap exists now. 'cause you go back not even a decade ago when you saw Australia. New Zealand Being able to breakthrough in go-to world's why do you think the the gap between China Korea China Korea Japan and the rest of the rest of the region has developed. Well I think a lot of boils down to money and resources that China Korea and Japan are are putting as you mentioned. Jd Lend a Canadian and been coaching in Japan. And all these countries are bringing in the top coaches And none of the other federations are able to do that right. And we know China is is has has has a major efforts right to to put in investment in the coaching staff to get the best results that they can Same with Korea. We saw Bob Ursel coach there Keyboard lines coach and Korea as well Marcel Rocks Coast in China. Now I think it's headed up by. I hope so. The the resources stock investment in time and money and being able to send them out to competition and quite frankly. It's it's their fulltime job so Certainly the guys in Australia and the guys New Zealand. They're very talented and if they put in more time you know we could probably get a few more wins against those top. Three teams Right now it's just a you do need a little bit of luck. You need to play really well maybe get a little bit. Lucky you'll sneaking a win here or there but You know as a z shown in the in the in the records in the standings. We we haven't had medalists outside those three countries for a long time. All right. So let's let's let's breakdown. This competition will start on the men's side and we'll start with those top three China this year is being skipped by zone chown who we saw at last year's worlds This is His v P. ACC It's his second as has a skip He played lead for Zang's young in twenty fourteen when they won gold This team game made it two worlds last year and went to ten China interestingly enough one eight straight. PAC sees from two thousand seven through two thousand fourteen in has not won since so they They are looking to break that streak Japan They won gold last year. And it's the. The same team led by units Mira. they went on to go they went on to finish fourth at world's This is the eleventh. ACC for their third words Meizu who has played in several Olympics. He's been he's been around the block the the rest of his team You know they're they're new to the world stage but they have been a solid team for a long time. They kind of came together last year. Shinya obey. Who is their lead Kind of step back back from from skipping Took over as skip. He's throwing the fourth stones and once they did that. This team really took off in became a foreign away kind of the best team. I'm in Japan last year. Correa A new face who is not a new face Skipped by Kim Chang Min This team did not not per did not participate in. PAC's Last year but they were the Olympic Team for Korea in twenty eighteen. Sixty the ACC for Kim Chang Min They they won the last time that he was in this event in twenty seventeen they finished fourth at that year's worlds Again this was the Olympic team in two thousand eighteen where they finished seventh going. Four and five This team they have the same lead from that. Olympic team with Lee High Bach but two members of that team are actually going through their mandatory military service and are Are Are not available for for this year's event so Jason Can you kind of help us. Sort these three teams out. You think. There's there's one team that kind of stands out from the from this group of three. Yeah I mean I've had the pleasure playing and Against All three of those skips And they're all excellent..
